"It's time to review the score board-kabo!" Mato shouted as he pointed towards the scoreboard, showing the current standings of the Games.
Fairy Tail: 34
White Eclipse: 32
Cosmic Star: 24
Twilight Zone: 18
Quatro Cerberus: 15
Mermaid Heel: 14
Lamia Scale: 8
Sabertooth: 5
"And those are our standings since the end of day two!" Mato shouted.
"Thanks to Cynthia, we've still got our lead." Erza said with a slight smile, turning her head to look at the Fairy Tail part of the stands. Cynthia was present, and she had a cast around her injured arm.
"Good luck, guys!" Cynthia waved, her cheery nature not fading.
"I hope your arm recovers soon," Mavis said while perching herself on the railing, kicking her feet somewhat as she looked to Cynthia.
"Me too…I tried to open a jar of candy this morning and I couldn't…" Cynthia replied.
"What are you doing trying to get candy at 10 in the morning?" Macao asked while raising a brow.
"…Sugar?" Cynthia replied while giving a childish smile.
"You're not allowed to have sugar." Makarov said.
"B-But…!" Cynthia started to protest, but she eventually gave in and hung her head. "Fine…"
"Second place!" Cygnus said while giving a grin.
"Only two points behind Fairy Tail!" Nami said while giving her usual cheerful grin.
"They've had their fun, but now it's our turn to reclaim that first place spot," Reve said with a nod.
"I suppose I'll be taking today's event," Taya said while stepping forward.
"Take it away, Taya!" Kuro said with a nod.
"Taya's got it!" Nami said while throwing her arms up.
"Third place?" Shadowlore said while glancing at the scoreboard. "What happened? I thought we were winning?"
"We were holding back, of course," Daryan replied. "Well, not me, obviously, but Magnus was."
"Ah…so that's what the old man was talking about last night…" Shadowlore nodded a few times.
"Yes, and now the time for holding back is over. Today is the halfway point for the Games, and I think it's rather fitting we started to get serious." Magnus said with a nod. "I'll let you all know of the important stuff that will happen today…"
Alex slowly limped over to Karma, a smile on her face as the old man gently placed a hand on the injured girl's shoulder. "Don't worry about not being able to participate," Karma said. "You did an excellent job yesterday, and now, it's time to let the elite team handle things. Your efforts won't go to waste."
"A-Aye, sir!" Alex replied with a nod.
Karma then turned to Magnus. "It's time."
"I know." Magnus nodded.
"Fourth place…" Flynn said with a sigh, feeling guilty that his loss was going to hurt the team in the end.
"Don't worry about it, Flynn," Rylo said with a nod.
"Only a minor setback, but we'll pick it up," Taranis said while nodded with Rylo.
"Are you ready, Evanee-chawn?!" Tsami asked as she circled around the dragon slayer excitedly.
"Yes, I'm ready. I'll make sure to pick our score up," Evanee replied.
"We're in last place…What's going on?" Sting asked as he slammed a fist onto the railing. "I thought we were going to bring back Sabertooth's lost glory this time…"
"Don't worry, Sting." Yukino started as she gave a reassuring smile to the white dragon slayer. "We still have enough time to make a comeback. We'll just have to give it our all and more."
"I'll be taking the event this time, Sting," Rogue stated in a quiet tone as he stepped forward.
"Rogue can do it!" Lector began to cheer.
"Fro thinks so too!" Frosch gave a nod, his usual simple minded tone replaced with a tone of actual confidence and competence.
"And, we have a new guest speaker today, kabo!" Mato said as he turned to the commentators stands. "We still have the good Chapati and Yajima, but joining them today is a member of the Council, Captain Lahar once again!"
"Hello, one and all. It's an honor to be here once again!" Lahar said with a smile as he gave a slight wave to the audience.
"He seems rather excited to be up there…" Odin said while leaning back in his seat in the Council section of the audience.
"He's a natural up there," Doranbolt replied.
"T-Tch…" Jellal's eyes narrowed as he glanced at Lahar. "Just what we needed…the Council's here…"
"What do we do…?" Meredy asked as she looked towards Jella, then Ultear.
"We lay low…" Jellal nodded…and then shivered somewhat.
"Are you okay, Jellal…?" Ultear asked while raising a brow, curious about the bluenette's sudden shiver.
"I-I'm fine…" Jellal replied. "I just felt an odd chill, that's all…"
Above the stadium, once again where near no one would think to look, the members of Silent Sanctum, Tartaros, along with Zancrow and Rustyrose were watching the games once again. "So far the Fairies are winning…" Maggie said while crossing her arms.
"White Eclipse isn't too far behind," Byron replied as he leaned on his side, yawning somewhat.
"Don't forget about the band of cheaters," Kiora said with a slight smirk. "At this rate, they may cheat their way to victory…"
"Now, it's time for today's event, kabo!" Mato exclaimed, causing the crowd to cheer. "I will need one member from each team!" And, just like that, the pumpkin headed host got his wish. The eight people he got this time around were Gray, Taya, Evanee, Shadowlore, Blues, Beth, Rogue, and Yuka. "Oh?" Mato turned to Shadowlore, his head tilting in confusion. "You are…?"
"Heh, I'm Shadowlore of the Bloodmoon, Cosmic Star's replacement for Alex!" Shadowlore replied.
"Ugh, you can't be serious…" Evanee said while pinching the bridge of her nose. "There's a sixth one…?"
"That would explain why they're still in the games…" Rylo sighed.
Beth stared at Shadowlore for a second before squealing. "AH! I REMEMBER YOU!"
"…Oh yeah you were in that spa with the rest of your females friends weren't you?" Shadowlore asked while chuckling slightly.
"Ugh…that guy…" Kagura sighed while shaking her head.
"I don't like him…" Milliana said while crossing her arms, wrinkling her nose. "He smells funny…and he has this odd aura around him…he's not spiffy at all…"
"For some reason I feel like I'm gonna hate this guy before the day is over…" Gray sighed somewhat before subconsciously taking his shirt off.
"Yo, dude, your shirt…" Shadowlore coughed while pointing at Gray.
"Eh? Ugh!" Gray groaned slightly.
"Anyway, kabo!" Mato yelled as he took a few steps back, eventually snapping his fingers as a large rectangular labyrinth appeared, automatically placing the eight contestants in different places, and lacrima screens appeared around the area so the audience could observe what was happening.
"Whoa! Could you at least warn a guy!?" Shadowlore shouted to the open air.
"I gotta side with that one…" Blues nodded in agreement.
"Today's event is…Break the Targets, kabo!" Mato exclaimed, and just after doing so, a lacrima screen appeared in front of the eight competitors, while the same image was relayed to the screens the audience was observing. "This event is rather simple, kabo. There will be multiple targets, green, yellow, red, and gold. The green targets are worth 1 point, yellow is worth 3, red with worth 5, and the golden target is worth double your current score, and it will then add 5 points on top of that!"
"It could be anyone's win condition...…" Mavis said aloud as she listened carefully to the explanation.
"One more thing before we get started!" Mato quickly stated, nearly forgetting this vital rule. "If one person knocks out another during this, that's 10 points!"
"Ten points?!" Sherry's eyes widened. "That could really change the game around…!"
"Not just the game…" Jura replied to Sherry as a slow smirk appeared on his face, confident in Yuka's abilities. "If too many competitors go down, it could change the overall Games somehow…"
"Heh, sounds pretty wild to me!" Blues shouted excitedly. "I hope you're all ready, because I'm going to take you ALL down and get ALL those targets!"
"This one is annoying…" Evanee thought to herself as she placed the palm of her hand on her forehead.
"You can do it, Taya!" Nami and Kuro shouted from the sidelines.
"Heheh…" A slow smirk appeared on Magnus' face. "I already know what's going to happen…and I told Shadowlore what's going to happen, so we came up with a plan…"
"There are 10 of each target, minus the golden one! And even if a competitor goes down their score is not turned into an automatic 0! So…Begin!" Mato shouted as a bell rang.
"I'm gone!" Blues shouted as he activated his Blue Drive, increasing his speed so he would get a head start on the other members. Luckily for the dragon slayer, the first corner he turned to held a red target. "Score!" Blues rushed to the target, pulling his fist back as water surrounded it, and threw it forward, shattering the target with ease, and thus earning Blues 5 points.
"And Blues knocks out the first red target and gets five points, Kabo!" Mato exclaimed.
"Hell yeah, Blues!" Bacchus shouted.

Shadowlore: 0
Blues: 5

Rogue: 0.
"The puppy got an early head start…" Rouge thought to himself as he quickly made his way through the labyrinth, searching for any target, preferably red. Rouge turned a corner; however, the corner he turned was nothing but a dead end, much to the shadow dragon slayer's annoyance. "Dammit…"
Gray sprinted down a straight corridor of a labyrinth, eventually seeing a fork in the road. Choosing to take to the left, he quickly found that it was a good idea to do so as he came across a yellow target. "Ah ha!" Gray smirked, preforming his usual stance as he placed his fist into his palm, throwing his hands forward. "Ice Make: Hammer!" A blue magic circle appeared in front of the ice wizard, and a large ice hammer shot forward from it, shattering the target, giving Gray three points. "Three points!"
"Each competitor already seems ready to be giving it their best." Lahar commented while watching each contestant on the lacrima screens.
Evanee was in a decent run as she looked around for a target. Upon setting her sights on a moving red one, her running changed into a sprint as she puffed her cheeks out, unleashing a Stone Dragon's Roar towards the target, but before the target was hit, an anti-magic barrier appeared in front of the target, rendering Evanee's roar useless, and the target was still there. "Who?" Evanee started as she started to sniff around.
"Anti-mage," Yuka replied as he stepped around the corner, behind his anti-magic barrier. "Your magic is useless against me," Yuka said with a slight smirk as he turned around to face the target…but it had just shattered. "W-What!?"
A vector slowly made its way back to Taya, who had a smirk on her face. "Thanks for the points," Taya replied as she sent yet another vector towards Yuka, aiming a powerful punch to his jawline, but the anti-mage quickly placed another barrier up, barely protecting himself just in time from the vector.
"Taya'll take care of him," Reve said while waving a dismissive hand.
Shadowlore was actually taking his time, walking through the many paths of the labyrinth, and wasn't upset whenever it came to a dead end…because he never ended up at one. Shadowlore was being guided by Magnus via telepathic connection, though not a single person inside or outside could tell. "Hm…" Shadowlore hummed to himself as he turned a corner, spotting a yellow target. "Three points?"
"Just to start off, yes," Magnus replied with the mind link the two shared.
"Alright," Shadowlore shrugged, then walked to the target, holding his hand out. A magic circle appeared over his hand, turning it into a wolf's claw; in the next instant, the target shattered, and Shadowlore earned three points. "Onward!"
"Wait…" Magnus ordered. "Turn around, walk about halfway and stop."
"Eh? Alright." Shadowlore did as he was told, walking halfway down the passageway and stopping, a few seconds later, a green target passed, but that wasn't what Magnus told Shadowlore to stop for. Beth from Mermaid Heel was chasing the target.
"Two targets. 11 points total." Magnus said, hiding his smirk from the public eye.
"Oh…I got'cha…" Shadowlore grinned, and quickly, yet quietly made chase after Beth. To improve his speed, he snapped his fingers, causing bat-like wings to appear on his back, and within seconds, he was behind Beth, who was just about ready to destroy the target.
"Beth, look out!" Kagura shouted…but it was too late. Shadowlore performed a quick chop to the side of Beth's neck, causing the girl's eyes to go wide for a split second before collapsing, and in the next second, Shadowlore destroyed the green target, thus earning him 11 poitns total.
"And just like that, Beth from Mermaid Heel is the first one to go down!" Chapati exclaimed in a surprised tone.
"His timing was perfect…" Yajima commented, hiding the fact he had a hard time believing someone could have such skills.
"That means Mermaid Heel gets last place by default, however," Lahar nodded.
"That was planned!" Kiora stated, highly agitated because she bet on Beth and lost rather quickly.
"Probably was," Maggie said as a smirk appeared on her face. "But, ya still lost anyway."

Yuka: 0
Rogue: 0.
"There's only seven competitors now!" Chapati yelled into his mic.
Evanee turned around on her heel, sprinting down another pathway since Taya was too busy being annoyed at Yuka. Upon making her way down a hallway, her acute senses picked up something just in time; a Shadow Dragon's Roar heading her way. Eavnee quickly countered with her own roar, and the two created an explosion; when the smoke cleared, Rogue was on the offensive, pulling his arm back as he prepared a Shadow Dragon's Slash. "Ugh…" Evanee groaned as she quickly brought her arm up, sliding back a few inches as Rogue's attack made contact with her arm.
"Yeah, you got it, Rogue! Take her out and get those ten points!" Sting shouted rather excitedly.
Evanee pulled her own arm back, allowing stones to gather around it. "Stone Dragon's Fist…" She then threw her arm forward, landing a direct hit on the shadow dragon slayer before her, sending him through a wall, which happened to lead the way to a green, red, and yellow target. "...Jackpot." Evanee quickly made her way through the hole, throwing Rogue out of it so he wouldn't steal any of her points. Evanee punched through the green target and the yellow target first, since they were in the way of the red target, gaining a solid 4 points for herself, and as she prepared to strike the red target, a watery lance flew past her arm, striking the target before she could hit it. "What?!" Evanee turned, only to see a smirking Blues standing in the passageway.
"Thanks for the points!" Blues grinned before sprinting off.
"Dammit…" Evanee groaned slightly, preparing to give chase after Blues, feeling she could make up for the loss of five points by taking Blues out and getting ten, but as she stepped out of the hole, a shadow wrapped around her, constricting her movements. "What…?"
"Ev, it's the shadow guy!" Rylo shouted, unsure if Evanee could actually hear him or not.
Rouge engulfed his hand in shadows, and pushed it onto Evanee's chest, sending a wave of waves at point blank range onto the Twilight Zone ace, pushing her through the wall, somewhat dazed at the attack. "Now for the finish…" Rouge puffed his cheeks out, but before he could finish his attack, he noticed something out the corner of his eye, forcing him to jump back as a vector almost struck him. "…White Eclipse…" Rouge turned quickly, realizing he wouldn't have good chances against an SS or an S class mage at that point, and entered his Shadow Drive, using it to speed away for the time being; Rogue turned a corner, only to slam into an anti-magic field; behind the field was a smirking Yuka.
"Not so fast!" Yuka shouted.
"Look at the idiots play…" Gaia sighed while shaking her head.

"Take a right, a left, then head straight, I think you'll like what you find," Magnus order Shadowlore.
"Got it." Shadowlore nodded; going the directions he was told. After that, he came across two red targets, a yellow target, and three green targets. All of these targets were moving erratically, but this didn't seem to faze Shadowlore. "They're just handing me the points…!"
"Behind you," Mangus stated. "Gray."
"Thanks for leading me here!" Gray shouted with a grin as he placed his fist into his palm. "Ice Make: Freeze Lancer!" Gray threw his arms forward, unleashing a barrage of enlarged ice lances, some heading towards Shadowlore as a distraction while the other headed for the targets.
"Heh…cute…" Shadowlore smirked as the ice lances came his way; his body split apart into bats, easily avoiding the lances and the bats converged in the air, reforming into Shadowlore. Shadowlore then deflected some of the lances away aimed at the red targets, but he slipped up, and allowed one lance to shatter a red target, and the others slammed into the three green targets, earning Gray 8 point, a total of 11 now. "Dammit…!" Shadowlore moved to shatter the other red target, but before he could, Evanee sped by in her Stone Drive, shattering the red target before Shadowlore had a chance to, now giving Evanee 5 points, which meant she had 9 overall.
"The yellow target!" Magnus shouted via mindlink.
"They won't get this one!" Shadowlore responded, clashing his wolf claw at the yellow target, taking the lead with 14 points.

Blues sprinted down an open path, spotting a yellow and red target just ahead. With a grin, his sprint increased as he started to puff his cheeks out, a vortex of water forming as thoughts of taking the lead filled his head. "Roar…" Before Blues could actually get his attack off however, a stray vector slammed into his abdomen, sending him into the wall, rather dazed. A few seconds later, Yuka hit the wall next to him, and he was out. Taya walked from the path in which Yuka flew out of, dusting her hands.
"Anti-magic, huh?" Taya said with a slight sarcastic smile.
"And down goes Yuka!" Chapati shouted. "White Eclipse's Tayakata made quick work of him!"
"Now Lamia Scale gets seventh place…" Yajima nodded slowly.
"Damn, Yuka…!" Lyon clenched his fist; he held no anger towards Yuka, but it was the fact Lamia Scale was having a bad run overall with these games.
"Oh?" Taya turned her attention towards Blues, who quickly scrambled to his feet, only to stop as a vector grabbed the back of his shirt, forcefully pulling the blue dragon slayer towards her. "Trying to run away, are we?"
"Heh, 20 points already, huh?" Luke smirked slightly.
"I told you she had it!" Nami nodded.
"GAH!" Blues, without thinking, did the only thing he could, which was spewing water, (not spit) in Taya's face, the suddenness of it caused the White Eclipse mage to drop Blues, who then scrambled as fast as he could away from the now seething Tayakata.
"Oh…he's done it now…" Reve said while smirking somewhat. "This should be fun to watch…"
"Ah, looks like the little puppy made Taya angry…" Kiora said in a sing song voice.
Blues hurried to the targets still ahead, unleashing a weak, yet quick Water Dragon's Roar upon the red and yellow targets, shattering them both rather quickly, gaining 9 points, which turned into a total of 19 points. "Ah-ha!"
"You got it, Blues!" Kuro from QC shouted.
"Whoa, look at Blues go!" Melanie grinned, cheering on her fellow water dragon slayer despite that he was on a different team.

"He hasn't gotten a single target yet…" Yukino said with a somewhat worried voice.
"He's weakened a few of the others, though…" Sting replied, keeping his eye on Rogue. "I think he's trying to weaken them enough so their reaction times will be slower, thus allowing him to swipe the rest of the targets…but I know he's keeping his eye out for that golden target…and if anyone else can't react in time, he'll get it."
"Ah…so that's what his plan is…" Rufus said while nodding.
Speaking of Rogue, the dragon slayer finally managed to find some targets; a red, two yellow, and a green, a total of 10 points. That would put him in fifth and he already had plans to deal with Evanee and everyone else. Using his speed boost from the Shadow Drive, Rogue drew his katana, and slashed through the 4 targets with ease, his total now going up from 0 to 10 in the blink of an eye.
"He finally got some!" Lector shouted.
"And he's just getting started!" Sting grinned, feeling a bit of leeway now that a comeback was possible for Sabertooth.
"Everything's going according to plan…" Magnus told Shadowlore, who took out two green targets, now leaving only two remaining, and giving Shadowlore 2 extra points, bumping him into second place past Taya.
"Oh good, for a second I thought we were actually gonna lose this…" Shadowlore said as he continued walking.
"Of course not, no holding back, remember?" Magnus replied.
Blues was still on the run from Taya, who sent two vectors in attempt to grab him, but the dragon slayer was quick on his feet, and managed to avoid the vectors until he turned a corner. It was a dead end, but there was a green target waiting for him. "I'll go down with 20!" Blues shouted as he punched the target, gaining a single point, which rounded his score up to twenty. Just as he did that, a vector slammed into the back of his head, slamming him face first into the wall, in KO, gaining Taya another 10 points.
"And down goes Blues, but he went down with 20 points-kabo!" Mato exclaimed.
Evanee was on the other side of the wall where Blues was, only hearing a minor crashing sound. She shrugged it off, and turned right, finding a green target, the last one. She punched through it, rounding her score off to 10.

"Only 7 targets are left, and the golden one is still around!" Chapati yelled. "If anyone can get that golden target, it's over!"
"Ice Make: Saucer!" Gray shouted as he formed a razor sharp saucer made of ice, the rotation of the saucer easily cleaving through a red target and a yellow target, gaining Gray another 8 points.
"There's not many left…only five…Evanee thought to herself as she turned a corner, once again being met by Rogue's Shadow Dragon's Slash; the quickness and element of surprise really paid off for Rogue as his Shadow Drive boosted attack landed on Evanee, sending the Dragon Slayer, sliding across the ground, a noticeable gash on her left cheek. "I'm getting really tired of you…"
"Behind you, Evanee!" Flynn shouted, the first time he's spoken since his lost the day before, in fact.
Evanee already knew someone was behind her, so she quickly ducked, just in time as a vector slammed into Rogue's chest once again, sending the Shadow Dragon slayer flying back…breaking through a passing by red target, thus earing Rogue five points since he was the one who technically broke it. "Dammit…" Taya scowled due to the fact Rogue stole her points and that he was still standing.
"Only four targets left, this is really getting down to the wire!" Chapati shouted, starting to lean forward due to being sucked into the action.

"Ah…" Evanee got an idea; she ran forward, allowing stones to cover her arm in a blade-like shape, and she slashed through a wall that had been bothering her while she was standing there, revealing the last red target and a yellow target. "Ah ha!" Evanee exclaimed to herself before dashing into the new path she made, cleaving through the red target with ease, gaining five points, now pushing her past Rogue. She prepared to slash through the yellow target, but Rogue actually beat her to it, using his Shadow Drive enhanced speed to cleave through the target, gaining 3 points for him. At the same time, Evanee reared her fist back, slamming it into Rogue's nose, the force behind her punch boosted because she entered her Stone Drive, and Rogue flew through two walls before coming to a stop, now in KO himself, and Evanee gained an extra ten points.
"And Rogue goes down-kabo!" Mato exclaimed. "That's the second time within the Games Rouge has been taken down!"
"Damn…he almost got away with that…" Sting sighed, feeling his hopes drop once again.

"There's only two left…" Gray said to himself as he looked around for the yellow target, coming to the conclusion that the last target would in fact be the gold one.
"Found it…" Taya whispered to herself as a vector slowly made its way behind Gray. Gray noticed this, turning around, only to have a surprised expression; he wasn't Taya's target, but the target was literally behind the ice make mage, and Taya shattered it, gaining three points, now putting her at 28. With this, Gray, Taya, and Evanee quickly spread out, now searching for the golden target.
"There's only one left!" Aira shouted.
"Gray, don't you choke now dammit!" Natsu shouted.
"Come on, Evanee-chawn, you can do it!" Tsami cheered while failing her arms around.
"Taya, you got it!" Reve and Nami shouted in unison.
"Heh…" Magnus and the rest of Cosmic Star merely smirked. Then, after a few minute of hopeless searching, in the sky, a large golden target appeared above the labyrinth, but it was hovering over the center.
"There it is!" Gray yelled at himself, realizing that everyone else had noticed it, and it was now a race against time. Gray placed his fist into his palm, forming an ice bow and arrow, knowing this was his only chance to win. "Ice Make: Super Freeze Arrow!" Gray shouted as he released the arrow, sending the arrow speeding towards the target.
"Stone Dragon's Roar!" Evanee exclaimed as she threw her head up, unleashing a tornado comprised of elements within the Earth.
"Not so fast…" Taya smirked slightly as she brought forth yet another vector, speeding it towards the target.
The three attacks raced towards the target, and the one that hit was…none of them. A figure slashed through the target just before any of their attacks could make it. Shadowlore landed on the ground on his feet, gripping the wrist of his wolf claw with a smirk. "Too slow…"
"U-Unbelievable…! At the last second, Cosmic Star's Shadowlore stole victory!" Chapati's jaw dropped.
"Where did he even come from!?" Cygnus asked. "I didn't see him!"

"And these are the standings, kabo!" Mato exclaimed as the labyrinth vanished, leaving all eight competitors in the arena. "And now, let's take a look at the score board!"
"Second place…" Selene whispered.
"White Eclipse or SECOND place, right?" Daryan smirked over to the Diamond Dragon slayer.
