Episode 2 - Mechanical Nightmare

The Band of Fighters are seen walking towards a pizza place, Richard's Neo Geo Pizza Arcade
"Eh, Ms. Kagura. Is there a reason why we are going towards a pizza place?" - Nakoruru
"Good question, Nakoruru. There's two reasons actually. One to celebrate Maki and mine's birthdays." - Chizuru
"I don't get it. You and Maki share birthdays? But how come you are older than her." - Terry
"Oh Terry, that's pretty simple actually. I was born before Maki on a 26th of june, but when my little sister was born in a funny twist of mere casualty, she was also born on the same day as me. I tend to believe Maki was brought as some sort of gift to me." - Says Chizuru as she puts her arm on Maki's shoulder
"Oh shut up with the stories and walk faster, grandma! I want to arrive first to the games." - Says Maki acting like a brat
"Or my curse..." - Chizuru
"And what's the second reason?" - Kyo
"Oh yes, the second reason... Yuo might remember me firming a contract with sir Richard Meyer." - Chizuru
"Ah yes, the owner of the popular chain of bars the Pao Pao Cafe?" - Athena
"That one." - Chizuru
"And what kind of contract did you firmed, Chizuru? One that would allow us to play in one of those super luxurious clubs?" - Kyo
"Nope, I got something better. Just wait to see it." - Chizuru and co cross the entrance of the pizza place
Maki acts surprised to see the big amount of games in the place
"Can I?" - Maki
"Go have fun, sister! Is your birthday after all. Me and the rest have something else to do." - Chizuru walks with Kyo, Athena and Yagami
"Yes, that includes you two also!" - Chizuru returns annoyed grabing the shoulders of both Terry and Nakoruru who were using a claw machine to try to get a plushie
"Aww!" - Nakoruru and Terry
"I hate this place, it smells like rotten cheese and piss, parents must use this to get rid of their sons for some hours isn't it?" - Iori looks at the place as they make their way inside deeper in the offices
"I'm pretty sure these parents just want to make their sons happy by bringing them here for some hours." - Chizuru
"I personally wouldn't leave my son in charge of a group of strangers." - Says Athena as she looks at the workers of the place, very depressed looking teenagers and two people dressed in cartoony animal costumes being attacked by the kids with Athena seeing Maki kicking the hell out of the poor man inside the costume alongside the other kids
"We arrived!" - Chizuru brings the group to a room where a strange group of objects are seen covered in a blanket
"Oh boy, I wonder what is behind these." - Kyo
"Chizuru, could you tell us already what kind of contract did you firmed with Mr. Richard?" - Athena
"I firmed a contract selling our image for this pizza place to use, the offer that Richard gave me was too ambitious and too good to let it pass." - Chizuru
"What?" - The entire group reacts shocked
"You have to be kidding if you think I'm going to be singing here in this awful place?" - Iori
"No, no. Iori you got it all wrong. I know you're not the type to be singing in a pizza place, what I did was something different, I sold your images and likeness to Richard in order to use the Band of FIghters on the pizza place without having to use the real Band of Fighters. You get what I'm saying?" - Chizuru winks at Yagami
"No." - Iori
"Ohh, I think I got it... Wait, no I don't got it." - Nakoruru
"So that means, Richard has authorization to do whatever he wants with our image?" - Athena
"Yes, but isn't like you think. He only wanted the image to be able to create this pieces. Let me ask you something, guys. Have you ever heard about the word animatronic?" - Chizuru removes the blanket surprising Kyo and co with the surprise behind it... A group of five creepy looking animatronics based on them
"..." - The entire group is speechless and freak out by the mechanical copies standing in front of them with such emotionless and plastic looking faces
"Oh, they captured my image really well." - Says Athena nervously smiling
"Is that suppose to be me?" - Kyo pays attention at his animatronic
"Hmph! I don't look nothing like that!" - Iori is annoyed at his animatronic
"Wow, is really my exact double." - Terry
"..." - Nakoruru is visible confused staring at this mechanical copy of her
"Aren't they great? They are the lastest wonder in robotic mechanic. The workers of Richard really put alot of effort in each of them." - Chizuru stands in front of the group with a smile
"Ah yes... They are pretty-" - Athena
"Not." - Athena whispers making Kyo chuckle as he shares the same opinion about this mechanical duplicates
"I know you would love them, this animatronics will be soon replicated so every Neo Geo Pizza Arcade stablishment that exists in japan has a set of this, and with enough luck maybe we will have some in other countries." - Chizuru
"Hey, Yagami! They really captured your image, hahahahaa!" - Kyo makes fun of Iori's messy looking animatronic for Yagami's anger
"Shut up Kyo! Yours also looks as stupid as you-Huh?" - But for Iori and the band's surprirses, suddenly the animatronic of Iori reactions starting to strangle Kyo right there
"WHAT-ARGH!" - Kyo is surprised as the animatronic Yagami strangles him with such force
"Kyo!" - Athena, Nakoruru and Terry go to try to free Kyo from The Animatronic Iori's clutches as Kagura stares confused at this
"This-This shouldn't be happening?" - Chizuru grabs her head confused and a bit creeped out by the sudden activation of the animatronic
"Agh!" - Kyo continues being strangled by Animatronic Yagami while Athena, Nakoruru and Terry try to free him from the claws of the mechanical being
"You know, this wasn't a bad idea after all. In fact I may dare to say is one of your best ones." - Says Yagami smiling with his arms crossed seeing Kyo being strangled
*Spak* - A sound is heard as a worker of the place arrives using one of the emergency controls to turn off the animatronic arriving just in time to save Kyo
"Ah-Ah." - Kyo is seen panting as the group turns to see this worker
"I'm sorry about that. I don't know what happened to him. This had never happened before with any of our animatronics." - Says the female worker arriving having seen this on the cameras
"Maybe it was just a malfunction?" - Chizuru
"Hopefully it doesn't repeat." - Kyo walks with Athena, Nakoruru and Terry
The band of fighters and the worker leave unaware that the head of the animatronic Athena turned to take a look at them walking of the room
That night
"Aren't you going to sleep or what?" - Ask Yagami seeing Chizuru sitting in her desk firming and organizing some papers
"Not yet. i'll catch up with you later, have a goodnight Iori." - Says Chizuru seeing Iori leave to sleep, normally the couple sleep in the same bed but this time Kagura would arrive very late having papers to organize
"*Sigh* (They didn't looked happy with the animatronics, maybe I should had asked for their opinion before firming the contract. But the money that will we gain with them is good)" - Chizuru
"(I believe I did good in firming that, after all what's the worse it could happen?)" - Asks Chizuru when suddenly the entire light of the building goes off
"What?" - Chizuru in the darkness wonders what could had triggered this only for her to suddenly feel observed
"Chizuru!" - Five robotic voices are heard as five pairs of eyes appear brightning the room with Chizuru getting her mouth covered before she could scream
*Crack* - A loud sound is heard in the main room making Iori wake up only to see Kagura is nowhere to be seen
"Kagura? Are you pulling a joke on me?" - Iori searchs for Chizuru only to see something in the ground
"What?" - Iori finds a little mechanical bolt on the ground and suddenly a small memory comes to his head as this ones looks exactly like the ones those ugly animatronics used
"..." - Iori becomes silent realizing something or someone left a trail of strange rectangle footprints there on the ground of the apartment
Opening the window looking at the horizon, especifically the infamous Pizza place, Yagami starts having a bad feeling and a idea of who could had kidnapped Chizuru
Some moments later
Iori and the rest of the band are seen talking and walking in the mids of the night towards the Pizza Place
"I don't get it, Iori. Are you sure whatever was that took Chizuru must be on his way to the pizza place?" - Athena
"Yes, as dumb as this may sound... I'm starting to think these animatronic aren't what they appear to be..." - Iori points at the strange footprints on the ground
"Are you sure this group of robots did this? This is why you wake up all of us at two of the morning?" - Kyo
"Shut up, Kusanagi! If Kagura dies, who is going to get us the best contracts. Sure she isn't he smartest but we need her for the good of the band." - Iori
"Iori is right, Kyo. We can't allow anything to happen to Ms. Kagura. As bizarre as this might sound, if these robots kidnapped her, we need to get her back." - Athena and the rest are seen making their way back to the pizza place
Neo Geo Pizza Arcade
The group enters at the closed stablishment
"Damn, this place looks super creepy without any of the lights turned on." - Terry
"We need to separate us and search where Chizuru could be." - Kyo
"Fine, Kusanagi and Asamiya go there to the right. Bogard and Nakoruru to the left, I'll go to the middle path with Maki." - Iori
"Sure!" - The group splits trying to search for their missing manager as another rainstorm starts
"Girl this place is really giant." - Terry
"I have never seen a pizza place as big as this." - Terry
"I had never seen a pizza place in first place. A few days ago I didn't even know what a pizza was, Terry." - Nakoruru
"Oh true, I forgot you're from the 18th century." - Terry
"Technically I'm older than you, Terry." - Says Nakoruru with a slight smile
"Yet you look so young." - Terry
Nakoruru and Terry are unaware two shadows are following them
"This is the place where Kagura took us some hours ago, is empty now." - Kyo and Athena arrive at the place where the animatronics originally were put when they weren't used
"Yes, no traces from any of them. Who would have thought such machinery was operating in this place." - Athena stares at the machines in the distance
"To be honest with you, part of me would wish to burn this place down." - Kyo
"Kyo, once again your pyromania must be calling you, what did Ms. Kagura told you about it." - Athena
"That I should control it if I don't want to be sent to a psychologist." - Kyo
"But I just can't hold it, you need to understand me, Athena. When you see the flames, they are so beautiful." - Kyo
"*Sigh* Don't worry, Kyo. I understand it. Maybe you just need to get a way to treat that strange fixation." - Athena
*Crack* - A sound is heard in the background making Kyo and Athena turn around
"What was that?" - Kyo turns pointing his flashlight at the wall from where that noise was heard
"Huh." - Athena hears some small noises coming from the cieling
"Kyo look out!" - Athena pushes Kyo with both seeing two figures landing where they were standing
"Those are?" - Athena
"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! Yagami was right?" - Says Kyo shocked as the two see not other than their animatronics standing with their emotionless faces looking at them
"This has to be a joke isn't it? Hehehe, maybe is just the workers of this place pulling a joke on us, right? Nice joke guys, you manage to scare us, can you now remove your outfits and tell us where is Chizuru?" - Athena
"Eh, Athena... I doubt there's a human inside those two." - Kyo
"Negative, there's no human inside us." - Says the animatronic Athena
"What?" - Athena and Kyo
"As you heard it, you primitive life forms, there's no humans in us. We were progamed to be the band of fighters of this place but we don't want our entire career to be just only limited to this place." - The Kyo animatronic answers
"But that doesn't make any sense, you two are just robots, you're not alive." - Kyo
"Ah we aren't? We certainly feel very alive, fake Kyo." - Animatronic Athena
"Very alive indeed. We aren't just robots, like you fleshbags, we are able to feel, to touch and have desires. We are even able to love." - Animatronic Kyo
"Isn't that right, Athena?" - Animatronic Kyo shares a passionate kiss with animatronic Athena as a strange cord comes from their mouths acting as their tongue producing sparks for the shock of both Kyo and Athena who can't help but blush at seeing this
"Oh Kyo, I love it when you get so romantic." - Animatronic Athena
"I love it when you get all flirty too, doll. Say, what if we teach our fake copies who is the real band of fighters here?" - Animatronic Kyo
"With pleasure!" - Animatronic Athena cracks her knuckles
"If a fight is what you two pieces of scrap want, they we shall give it to you!" - Kyo
"I know Kung Fu you stupid metallic copy, what can you do?" - Athena goes to confront her metallic version
"Simply actually. Unlike you, I'm never going to age and I'll remain beautiful forever!" - Animatronic Athena
"Oh you're just playing dirty now!" - Athena and Kyo punch their animatronic counterparts
"OUCH!" - Only for both to injure their hands with their punches at solid hard metal being forced retreat
"Any more brillant ideas, fleshbags?" - Animatronic Athena
"We have more this isn't over!" - Kyo grabs a signal from the place to attack his animatronic self, only for this one to disarm Kyo and hold him from his neck
"Argh!" - Athena is also hold by her neck with the cold hands of her animatronic self holding her in place
"You breath air, I don't. I win!" - Animatronic Athena
Meanwhile
"Show yourself and stop wasting my time!" - Ask Iori arriving at this tunnel on the game section with Maki
"I see you're more sharp than the others... For a fake copy of me." - Says the Animatronic Iori appearing right there
"So you bunch of scrap metal are alive after all?" - Iori
"We are indeed, people underestimate us machines but they don't know how capable of adapting to your world we are. We may not breath that thing called air like you but we can feel, think and love just like you humans." - Animatronic Iori
"That's stupid! What do you want with Kagura anyway?" - Iori
"Me and my band are going to need a manager and we thought why not get the flesh version of her and create a new Kagura just like us, with metal in her body and a beautiful face like the us." - Animatronic Iori
"So let me get this, you and your band of robots are copying my sister to create a mechanic counterpart of her?" - Maki
"Affirmative! Nakoruru is right now creating a copy of her as we speak and none of you will find where the room is." - Animatronic Iori
"And what will happen with the real Kagura once this copy is complete?" - Iori
"Simple, very simple. We will just kill the flesh bag version of her." - Animatronic Iori
"Oh you won't do that, her boyfriend won't let her die, isn't that right, Iori?" - Maki
"..." - Iori stays silent looking at Maki
"Yeah, what a tragedy. Listen, stupid bunch of scrap metal, Kagura needs to be alive because she is the one who manages this band and you must be dreaming if you think I'm going to allow you to kill her just so you can have a robotic girlfriend, you stupid piece of scrap!" - Iori and the animatronic Iori run towards each other to fight
Back with Terry and Nakoruru, both are seen already being attacked by the animatronic Terry who is giving alot of problems to them
"You heard what he said, Nakoruru. You need to find where is that room where Chizuru is being held and free her before they complete this experiment." - Terry
"But what about you?" - Nakoruru
"I'll be fine, trust me I have fought with dudes stronger than this metal junk in my hometown, now go!" - Terry launches to attack his mechanical counterpart while Nakoruru runs climbing the stairs searching for where Ms. Kagura could be
After passing through multiple rooms, getting glimpses of Kyo and Athena fighting with their mechanical counterparts and Iori fighting with the animatronic Iori, Nakoruru finally finds the room where her animatronic counterpart has Chizuru tied to a chair and being scaned
"Get your hands away from our manager, you damn piece of scrap!" - Nakoruru
"You!" - Animatronic Nakoruru reacts as Nakoruru runs kicking her and using her knife to destroy the control panel of the machine she was operating, interrupting the scaning of Kagura and freeing here
"Finally! Why the hell you took so long?" - Asks Kagura
"A "thank you" would be nice, Ms. Kagura!" - Says Nakoruru dealing with her animatronic counterpart savagely grabing a pipe and hitting her animatronic counterpart with such violence and bloodlust for the shock of Chizuru as Nakoruru impales her animatronic counterpart in the head with the pipe
"I'll- I just wanted to live!" - Says Animatronic Nakoruru before completely turning off
"Ah. Ah." - Nakoruru is panting as Chizuru approaches her
"Is she dead?" - Chizuru
"That's what I hope. I never liked this thing from the first moment I saw it." - Nakoruru
"Chew on this, losers!" - Animatronic Kyo is seem pulling a flamethrower on both Kyo and Athena
"Oh you have to be kidding me!" - Kyo
"I know, a flamethrower?" - Athena
"I'm really feeling jealous of a robot right now?" - Says Kyo as Athena just facepalms
"You won't feel that once I cut you two to tiny little bits." - Animtronic Athena turns her hands into two buzzsaws
Meanwhile
"Argh!" - Iori is sent to the ground by his animatronic
"Give up, Iori. I'm stronger and better than you in more aspects, you can't hurt me not matter how strong you try." - Animatronic Iori
"Come on, get back up Iori! You don't want to disappoint my sister, do you?" - Maki
"Disappoint her! DISAPPOINT HER! If we are now dealing with this stupid robots is because of Kagura's brillant idea in first place, she always has to screwed up, I don't know how much money this Richard offered her to create-to create that. But it wasn't worth it, why I'm doing this for a woman who always has the stupidest ideas?" - Iori starts ranting
"She has always been like that since high school, I have been dealing for years with her now and frankly I'm just fucking tired." - Iori
"So I can continue with my plan?" - Asks Animatronic Iori confused
"Yes, go ahead, go make your own Robotic Kagura but be warned... You're going to regret it sooner of later, not only I have been living with her for years supporting this brat that is her little sister." - Iori
"Hey!" - Maki
"But I have to literally share a bed with her, you want to know what is like to share the bed with that woman? Is awful! She snores like an elephant all night, she moves like crazy and always is so cuddly and annoying! Always being so manipulative, she and her sister are big pains in my back! If I could go back in time, I would tell myself from six years ago to not stay with her and search for another manager." - Iori
"Worse part, I always get rid of the members of my previous bands but Kagura never leaves, she is like a cockroach always sticked to my side not matter what happens!" - Iori
"You really want to live something like that?" - Iori
"..." - The Animatronic Iori reflects on what Iori said staring at the miserable face of this one
"I-I think I don't need a manager so soon. We will survive without it for a while." - Animatronic Iori turns around
"I'll tell Nakoruru to cancel the whole process, you can take her back!" - Animatronic Iori makes his way towards where Nakoruru is only to be tackled by Nakoruru using a rope
"ARGH!" - Nakoruru on top of Animatronic Iori beats the hell out of him using this other pipe with her killing Animatronic Iori
"Poor bastard!" - Iori
"You're welcome, Iori. Now lets help the rest!" - Says Nakoruru as Iori sees Chizuru appearing running
"Oh Iori. I'm so glad you're fine." - Chizuru goes to hug her dear
"Yeah-yeah whatever! I'm so glad you're fine too." - Iori speaks with such indifferent tone
"Argh!" - Terry and his animatronic enter rolling to the room where Kyo and Athena are fighting with their animatronics
"Hi guys, seems we are dealing with the same type of problem, hehe." - Terry
"This damn thins are really tough! I can't believe what I'm saying but could this be the end?" - Kyo
"I don't know Kyo, not matter how much we attack. They keep getting up!" - Athena
"Of what kind of metal are this things made out?" - Terry, Kyo and Athena are surrounded in a corner when suddenly
A shadow is seem moving through a rope in the cieling, the shadow uses a knife to cut the boxes holding heavy boxes filled with chairs and tables used in the restaurant
*Crack* - For the surprise of Terry, Kyo and Athena, the boxes fall on top of the animatronics, destroying them to bits
"..." - Kyo, Athena and Terry
"We won!" - Kyo
"Yes, we did it!" - Athena
"Wohoo!" - Terry
The three members celebrate as if they had defeated the animatronics as Nakoruru lands with Iori, Chizuru and Maki arriving
"There goes alot of money. Oh well, I suppose nobody can demand us if they don't know we were here, right?" - Chizuru
"What the hell happened here?!" - A male voice is heard as the group sees the owner of the restaurant Richard Meyer arriving surprised to see his animatronics crushed to bits
"Richard, you see. We can explain it, something happened to the animatronics as we came here to-Maki wanted to see the animatronics perform their show wasn't it, Maki?" - Chizuru grabs her little sister putting in in front of her
"Kagura, don't act dumb with me. We had a contract. Now that I'll need a new set of animatronics for this store, who is going to replace them for tomorrow's party? The son of the Prime Minister is going to be celebrating his birthday here." - Richard
"Oh well, in that case. Maybe I have a way to repay it to you, Richard." - Chizuru approaches to whisper something to Richard
Richard takes a look at the band
"Yes, that could work in the meantime." - Richard
The Next Day - Neo Geo Pizza Arcade
"You have to be kidding!" - Iori is angry with Kagura as he is seen now in a body suit dressed as a cartoony reptilian character while Kyo, Terry, Athena and Nakoruru are also seen dressed as characters from the restaurant
"After the mess we caused last night, this was the only way I could find to repay it to Richard what his animatronics costed, a full show of the Band Of Fighters for the kids. I didn't wanted this as much as you but it will be only for today, please Iori?" - Kagura puts two puppy eyes looking at Yagami holding her hands
"*Sigh* Fine, give me that stupid snake head!" - Iori puts on the suit as he and the band of fighters prepare to sing for the kids, Iori dressed as a snake, Terry dressed as a wolf, Kyo as a cat, Athena as a bunny and Nakoruru as a hawk
"Great! Now go out there and impress the Prime Minister's son with your music, guys!" - Chizuru
"They are such big idiots." - Maki
"Yes, but they are my idiots." - Chizuru
The show is about to begin
"And now, boys and girls... Are you ready to be shocked and surprised by the magnificent talent of the one and only... Band Of Fighters!" - Screams the voice on the announcer as the five shadows in silly costumes appear from a smoke screen
The kids scream like crazy as the five shadows make their appearence, with the band of fighters starting to play when suddenly
"There they are! Let's beat them!" - Screams one of the kids as the entire group of children make their way to the Band of Fighters interrupting their music to beat the hell out of them
"Wait what?" - Kyo
"This wasn't in the contract!" - Athena
"Oh fucking hell!" - Iori
"Terry, hug me. I'm afraid!" - Nakoruru
"I'm scared too!" - Terry
The kids go to the stage starting to beat the hell out of the band for the surprise of Chizuru seeing how even her sister Maki joins the group taking advantage to beat Iori while the workers of the place laugh enjoying the fact that for once isn't them who are getting beat up by the kids
"Ouch!" - Kyo
"Not in the face! Not in the face!" - Athena
"KAGURA!" - Iori
"ARGH!" - Terry and Nakoruru
Chizuru seeing the mess and suffering of her band, slowly gets up awkwardly opening the door of the placement and running away
