I know Green Arrow was not in the TT cartoons but it would make sense to include him since he took care of Roy. Anyway, y'all hot babes enjoy.
The group ended up not having their party at Roy's since the secret slipped out to Oliver. Wally and Jiya came over for dinner to plan it in private. They were certain that the party was going to be a success until Wally couldn't keep his mouth shut. During a conversation at dinner, Wally accidentally mentioned Oliver leaving for the weekend which sparked the idea to him. He hadn't mentioned it to anyone a good talking to, he suggested that Wally should be the one to host it if he wanted to throw a party. This made Jiya mad as she was always saying "You can never tell him anything" which in most cases proved to be true. So the next two weeks were normal as usual.
Homecoming just came to an end and the student council members were taking down posters in the hallway. Antonia had been going to games with her friends and enjoyed cheering on the team and her friends in the marching loved that her friends were in extra curricular activities and she loved attending the events. There was something so exciting about the fall season coming in strong and things only got better once November was inching closer.
In Mr. Fadel's, Antonia was by herself. She had completed all her work for the class but was stuck on the essay they were practicing. Jiya was out as she caught a stomach bug and stayed home. (That didn't stop her from gossiping with her friends over text.) She wasn't satisfied with her work and decided to ask for help. The man smiled when she walked over to him and put on his glasses. "Ah yes, Antonia. What masterpiece have you brought me this time." He skimmed the page looking over her rough draft. "Well, I'm not too sure if it's a masterpiece but I'm not sure if I did this right." She pointed out the format on how she needed to draft her essay confused as to if she had done it right. Mr. Fadel praised Antonia for doing really well, giving her tips on how she could enhance her writing even more. After a while of adding more to her essay, she saw that she still had about twenty minutes left in class. She wanted to go to the library to hang out with Donna but asked Mr. Fadel to check out a book for her history project. He signed her a pass, leaving her to joyfully make her way to the library. She and Nicole weren't able to work together so she decided to work by herself. She found herself getting distracted often so she needed to really focus on this assignment.
When she arrived, Donna was putting books back on the shelf. "What cha' doing love?" She walked up to where she was and peered at the books that were on the roller cart. She looked at Antonia and said, "Hey Toni. I've been busy putting books all period. Is there something you need?" She nodded her head, eyes still on the books. "Oh, I'm just here to visit." Donna smiled at the girl and went to another shelf. Antonia took one of the books off the cart interested, it was about astrology. She normally was into this stuff but was surprised when she flipped the pages. She stopped for a moment and walked up to Donna. "Do you have any more books on this? I think I want to do this for my project." Donna scoffed asking, "Your history project is going to be about astrology? Telling people their zodiac signs?" Antonia gave her a sassy expression responding, "No mate, I meant that I want to research the ancient civilizations. Like on how they use the sky to gage time and the seasons?" Donna nodded her head now understanding what her friend was trying to convey. "That would be interesting. Books like that would be over by the bean bags if you were wondering." Antonia hugged the girl and went off.
Antonia had walked into her history class right on time before the bell had rung. She had used the restroom before class and took a bit longer than expected touching up her makeup. She walked to her desk carrying the books she had gotten from the library. They didn't fit in her bag so she would need to carry them around all day. "Your sleeves are a cool look." Samuel was looking at the mesh top she wore underneath her cropped T-shirt. The elbows were laced with spiderwebs that extended down the sleeves. She had on a No Doubt shirt of their Tragic Kingdom album which made a clever reference to the opening track. "Thanks,'" she responded smiling to him noticing that he sported a Goldfinger muscle tank. She and Samuel had slowly began getting along in their classes, such as making jokes with each other when working in groups. She was always complimenting his hair or shoes, and Samuel in return was complimenting her hair and makeup. Always pointing out specific shades or glitters that she wore to match her outfit. Class had begun and it was a very boring . Olson even looked exhausted even though the day had just started.
BEEP.
BEEP.
BEEP.
Flashing lights came on in the classroom. Looking confused, Mr. Olson walked over and propped the door open "I didn't get an email over a fire drill so everyone head outside." The classes poured out of the building and some students from other classes were laughing. Antonia overheard some students saying they ran out of the bathroom because too much smoke came out of whatever they were doing. She learned to mind her business since in public school, everyone would know about the type of person you were in less than a week. Antonia had already become very popular at this point. It wasn't only because of her friends but because of how kind she was. She often took time to help in community service events and was giving to others, some people thought this was just to cover the fact that she came from a rich family. IN other cases, her peers also noticed her because of the way she dressed and did her makeup. While she was waiting for the alarms to go off, she and Nicole began talking about her situation with her dad. Her father began missing out on days coming back home. Nicole thought that this was heaven. She didn't need to deal with him and his drinking as much. She was really finding time for herself and doing things she enjoyed. It was good to hear this, especially since Antonia was beginning to really worry about her. Then a boy from their class went up to them. "Hey Nicole. Did you see the article I sent you this morning?" He was a scrawny guy with greasy hair. Was he awkward? Absolutely. But was he the smartest kid in their class? You bet. Nicole decided to work with him since he seemed the most normal out of the boys in their class. Getting really into their project, Antoniaturned to face the other direction and decided to start a conversation with some of her other classmates. It was sunny at the moment, and everyone had been squinting their eyes to see.
A few minutes passed and they were still outside in the breezy weather, it was a beautiful morning, and some students started mumbling about leaving the fields to go to their cars and leave school. Antonia had made a lap around her class to pass time as Nicole was still talking to her partner. Seymour noticed her and waved hello while Jade just looked at her with no expression. She looked at Samuel that had his hands in his pockets and looked at the ground, bored. She had walked up to them with the intention of conversating with Seymour but noticed something particularly interesting. Samuel's face looked so… clean. She already made the assumption that he wore a bit of makeup every day since he had dark brows and lined his eyes. Yet all his hair was white, so thin it was almost clear. "Samuel. Do you wear makeup?" He made a funny look then got serious. "Eh? What's it to you love?" She knew he did, but she just wanted to see what he would say. He shifted away to face the other direction. Light freckles covered his cheeks and nose but that was something she didn't notice until she was right next to him. She suddenly got really close to him and he started to blush. "Why are you looking at me like that? We've got a problem?" His tone indicated that he wasn't being hostile to her so Antonia decided to be honest with him. "Your eyelashes are so pretty like that with nothing on them. You know white is an interesting color to have for hair? But I've never seen it with brows and lashes till' now since you're all bare. It's a bit of a glassy… delicate look." He said nothing, staring down at the girl. He's gotten very few comments about his looks in a positive way. Most of the time, people were always complimenting his hair or his outfits, but rarely ever about him. "You talk too much." "I just complimented you!" The boy refused to make eye contact with her because he didn't want her to see how red his face was getting. He could feel the tips of his ears get warm against the cool breeze. Antonia decided not to say anything since she thought she made him feel uncomfortable but kept staring at him. The punk looked down at his beat-up shoes trying to hide his asked Antonia how she was doing to get some of the attention away from Samuel. Jade just kept looking at the girl then took a quick glance at Samuel, then her focus was back on Antonia. He was looking at the goth too.
"What is that?" Antonia was looking at the meal that Wally received for the day. "It's some cheese crackers and a juice box." She raised both her eyebrows at the idea that the meal would not be sufficient for the boy. Isaiah sat down next to him with the regular meal. "He owes the school money so that's just what they can offer him." Antonia wasn't in the mood to talk to Isaiah at that moment for his failed attempt to take her out on a date. She had found out that when he called her, Victor, Mal, and Garfield were there beside him telling him what to do and say on their phone call. It didn't help that he chickened out and told other people in the group to spy on them. Some people didn't get the memo and thought it was a group dinner. This made Antonia so mad that she didn't end up eating much. "Wait… You can owe a school money? That makes no sense." Karen rolled her eyes and smiled, "That's public school for you honey." It's seriously pathetic in any case that students need to worry about one more issue at school.
"Can you just shut up already?" Angelita was currently upset with her friends. Dominic was back in school and had a nose cast on. His face was still slightly swollen, and his hair was extremely faded. William and Samuel were making fun of the poor boy while Seymour failed miserably to defend his friend. Even though the students had already avoided Dominic, they did their best to not get anywhere near him. Some kids in the forensics class even leaned away from their desks. Selinda walked into their conversations. "It's confirmed, me and Baran were approved to drop out. I'm leaving next week." Samuel almost broke his neck and Jade sarcastically gasped. Mirkon looked at the girl, "Well why didn't you do it sooner?" Angelita slapped his arm, and which killed his laughter. "Uh… Did I hear you right?" "Yes Billy. You can still see my beautiful face when I go visit you with Baran." She had a light green paper in hand and showed the group. It was the document that confirmed her departure from high school. "Got a copy for me?" asked Samuel. Dominic leaned over and signed, "When do you actually leave? Are you just saying next week or are you gone tomorrow? And what about your GED?" Selinda rolled her eyes, "Fuck a GED. I don't have time for that crap. Neither does Baran. Everything is a waste of time, and I just want to actually do something with my life." In that case, Selinda and Baran were off to an okay start. What her friends didn't know was that she and Baran started doing people "favors" in running some errands. The bell rang and she sat down looking at the green form. Seymour made a face, and she laughed. "I'm going to be fine. You don't have to worry about me."
Antonia was zoned out in her theater class. Today they were having a calm day, but some were freaking out about the productions that were happening. A few students were dropped since they were failing classes and the understudies had to memorize their lines in less than a week. Antonia began to realize that public schools almost never had enough money to produce shows or events. It was always the students that had to fundraise everything. Since she had learned so much in her class, her peers were kind enough to let her see them practice their parts. Antonia then found herself looking at the costumes the students were making. This year's fall production was Beauty and The Beast. She admired the fabrics that were being laid down on she had always wanted to be part of theater, but it was something her parents thought was just for fun. There were many things that Antonia's parents took part in or enjoyed, but it was never enough to actually make a hobby of. Then one of the girls walked up to her, Marie, from her history class. "Hey, we could use your help on the productions and stuff!" Antonia looked at the girl with blue hair in excitement. "Really? You want me to join?" A boy walked up to her nodding. "I mean you've got to have a reason as to why you wanted to join this class. We could use more people to organize the costumes and maybe you can even do people's makeup. You're like really good at that." Antonia smiled big at the comment and their theater teacher walked up to them. "You've got a good hand working all that makeup you have every day. You could start looking into theatrical makeup and practice at home." Antonia was in love with the idea that she could have the opportunity to dress and apply makeup on others. Maybe public school wasn't that bad.
Unfortunately, Antonia dreaded going to math. Her teacher was doing terrible for his first year and her classmate had been acting weird. She decided not to go out with him since he was acting inappropriately with her. Asking very personal questions before he could really get to know her threw her off and she wanted no partin it. They would make eye contact in class, but he acted like they had never talked before. She that that was typical of boys. When get mad when you don't give them what you want. Since today was a makeup day she got on her laptop and checked out articles of her history project. It was something she couldn't get out of her mind. She had so many ideas of how it could go and what it could end up looking like on a poster board. She simply just wanted the opportunity to be creative and show off her artistic skills.
