"Hello?" Antonia was sitting at her desk while calling Samuel up for their project. It was almost eleven and she was worried he would call it off. She originally wanted to call him earlier but got sidetracked with other things. "Hey, mate. Have you gotten any more research done on the project?" Antonia grabbed the book she had shown him the other day. "Yes. I sent you another file with the quotes I want us to include in the project." She looked at her laptop. No, she certainly did not send him the file. "Okay. I haven't gotten it yet so maybe it's just my internet. But I wanted to ask about the presentation. What were you planning?" Samuel was in his room eating chips. The movie Pan's Labrinth was playing softly on his T.V. Antonia froze for a moment then laughed nervously, "Wait? Like what do you mean as in the presentation?" "I meant as if you wanted to do the PowerPoint? Or did you want to do the binder?" Antonia caught her breath. She began to stress herself out thinking Samuel was asking her about a part of the project that she had left out. "I was actually thinking of wanting to do the trifold. It's simple and easy and we can make it look nice." Samuel grabbed his history notebook and took notes.
Trifold
Printed Sections
Decor?
"What were you thinking for the theme or whatever?" He leaned back against the wall. He sat up in bed against the wall. He had no headboard, so there weren't any issues with getting comfortable. "Well, stars of course! And we can try to add any math stickers or planets if we find any." He smiled, "Okay, I'll buy some gold stars tomorrow at Walmart." Antonia scoffed at his statement. "Gold? You mean silver stars, right?" Samuel stopped chewing for a moment, his lips slightly curved to one side. "Sure, gold stars. But what about the colors and stuff?" "I was thinking black but I'm afraid that would be too dark. Maybe a navy blue, or even like a royal blue. Unless you have any other ideas." Samuel got up and looked in his closet. He sometimes had fabrics or papers left over from projects. "I have some dark blue papers. But they're torn pieces. I'm not too sure if they'll be good for the project." He opened an old shoe box relieving unused chains and studs. There were a few silver stars he could use for the project. "Okay, that's perfect. We can use them for something. Some is better than nothing." The boy went back to his bed and looked at his emails. "I finally got it… Wow... Toni this is great." "I know, thanks." He rolled his eyes, scrolling down to see the rest of the work. "You know we're pretty much done with the research section. All we have to do is to describe how it has helped those societies and its current use today." Antonia opened another document on her laptop and shared it with him. "I've already written it down. I can send that to you too." Samuel sighed and figured this would happen. "Hey, leave some for me will ya'? I don't want you to do more than what you've already done for the project." "Too late." He was right though. Antonia was an overachiever. She wanted things to be done right and done thoroughly. However, Antonia kept in mind that he in the past wasn't pulling his weight in projects and needed to prepare just in case. She wanted to have enough materials in case he dropped her from the project or tried to claim it as his own. "You always got to do everything yourself huh?" She raised an eyebrow stopping her typing. "What's that supposed to mean." Samuel ignored her question and looked at his journal. He said we would be able to work on it in class on Tuesday and Wednesday. We can finish those paragraphs then plan out the trifold." Antonia wrote it down in her planner. "Mmkay that works with me. I think we're all set then." She looked back at her laptop admiring the work she had completed. "Alright then. I can finally sleep in peace." Samuel hung up the phone thinking it was amusing to joke with the girl that way. Antonia looked at her phone only seeing her call history. "What a goof."
