Spider-Man Meets the Flex Fighters
Chapter 15 Crimewave

Riya headed to the current old abandoned building that served as the base for her and the Flex Fighters. She first checked on the medical bed pod that contained Dr. C to see if she was doing alright and if their were any changes in her brain activity or vitals. They were all the same as the last time she checked. Riya let out a little annoyed sigh as she waited for the Flex Fighters to return from their patrols. They soon arrived and Riya filled them in on helping Spider-Man fight the Gentleman and some Made Men goons. The other heroes were impressed by this and curious about the new hero.
"Spider-Man is a interesting guy. His reflexes are possibly better then my own and from what I saw he appears to be smart and physically stronger then he appears." Said Riya.
"You think he is someone we should recruit to help stop Rook or do you thing he's some kind of agent of Rook trying to get us by deceiving us?" Said Jake.
"Honestly I'm not really sure yet. We need to observe him some more, before we make any big decisions." Said Riya.
"Agreed." Said Jake.
Word of the Gentleman's defeat quickly reached the gangs and Mr. Silver was forced to honor his agreement with Hammerhead. The Made Men were now apart of Hammerhead's new syndicate and Doc Ock now had a lot more minions at his disposal to go after the Tech Men. Hammerhead had Tinkerer provide the crew with some new gear and weapons. Tinkerer created some new tough and light weight armor with some powerful gauntlets that gave the users a bit of super strength as well as deliver powerful shocks, some high powered laser guns, a few advanced portable flamethrower guns, and some shock stick clubs.
With their new weapons, gear, and leadership the gangs set out and worked together to commit some high level crimes through Charter City. The crimes were committed smoothly and the local police proved to be no match for the gangs. Rook's security forces were quickly called in to deal with the gangs, but even with their advanced training and gear they only managed to capture a few of the criminals and stop a few crimes.
A crimewave went through the city putting the citizens on edge. Rook was furious about it and put more tech and men out on the streets to deal with it. The news of the gangs working together played on the news and one screen was in Rook's lab where he kept Kane and the super villains. The real Reynolds was also kept in a cell in the lab. The former crime boss turned super villain Smokestack glared up at the tv monitor playing the news outside his cell.
"Looks like someone beat you to it in uniting the gangs and turning them into a powerful syndicate. And they're doing a far better job at then you ever could Smokestack." Said Kane with a chuckle from his cell.
"Aaaaa! That was my plan! Those were supposed to be my gangs united under me!" Yelled Smokestack with rage as he banged on his cell door making it shake a little, but it held and no cracks appeared on it.
Smokestack fumed as he paced back and forth in his cell, unaware of security camera watching him.
The camera gave Rook a live video feed into his office. Rook watched Smokestack and got a clever idea on how to deal with the criminal problem and possibly the Flex Fighters and Blindstrike at the same time.
"Sometimes the only way to win a board game is to clear the board." Said Rook with a smirk.
