Author's note.

Okay, if this isn't up tonight, then I'll explain this now. Starting from the 29th of May, I'll be on holiday with my family for four weeks. So, the updates are going to be VERY inconsistent for the next 4 weeks. I'll be in England for my Grandma's 80th Birthday. Now, with that out of the way, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 2

Welcome to Playtime Co

The Rustbucket stopped outside of Playtime Co. The building was dirty and grimey, like no one had entered it in years.

"This place looks like it hasn't been open in years" said Ben.

"Duh", said Gwen. "It's been closed for 10 years, doofus".

"Knock it off you two" said Max. He then put on his Plumber belt.

"Now, let's go" said Max. The three of then then headed towards the factory. They got to the front door.

"Please don't be locked" said Ben. He then grabbed the door handle and pulled. The door then opened.

"Huh, well what do you know?", said Ben. "It isn't".

"Why would the factory doors be unlocked?" Asked Gwen.

"Stay sharp", said Max. "There could be someone else in here". The three then entered. But, the door then slammed shut behind them. Ben ran over to it and tried to pull it open, but it wouldn't budge.

"We're trapped" said Ben.

"That's odd", said Max. "Why was unlocked when we arrived, but it's now locked up?".

"Hey, check this out" said Gwen. She then held up a green VHS tape.

"Why would that be out here?" Asked Ben.

"Maybe someone planted it" answered Gwen. She walked over to the VHS player and placed the tape in before pressing play. They gathered around as the tape played.

'Hello. My name, is Leith Pierre and I'm the head of innovation at Playtime Co. If you're seeing this, then you're trespassing. Yeah, we play this tape on loop whenever we close the place for the day. So, trespasser, to make you aware. While we do pride ourselves on our toys and excellent childcare, we also pride ourselves on our security. For example, the facility is full of hidden motion triggers, which when set off, will directly contact the authorities. And, that's one of the more tame aspects of our security, no spoilers, but, you've got my warning. I just hope that whatever you're looking for is worth it'.

The tape then stopped.

"That sounded more like a threat then a warning" said Gwen.

"Hey, check this out" said Ben pointing towards the gift shop.

Max and Gwen looked in his direction and saw that the gift shop was completely destroyed. Ben then walked in and saw a toy train laying on the ground. There was a green engine with pink, yellow and red carriages.

"There's something on the floor next to this" said Ben.

Max and Gwen then walked over to him and saw that he was right. On the floor next to the train, was some writing it read 'follow the train's schedule'.

"Follow the train's schedule?", asked Gwen. "That has to mean something".

Ben looked at the train, then towards a glass door with a coloured keypad. Then, he got an idea. He ran over to the door and typed Green, Pink, Yellow, Red in the pad. The door then opened.

"Hah!", shouted Ben. "I knew-AH!".

Ben saw a giant poster that said 'Poppy wants to play' and it had Poppy's eyes watching them. It scared him and made him land on his butt.

"Nice one, doofus" said Gwen.

Turns out, that door lead to a security office. On the wall was a backpack that had wires inside and yellow cannons with a blue hand attach to one of them.

"What's this?" Asked Ben.

Gwen then saw a book on the table, it read 'Grab Pack instructions'.

"I think it's called a Grab Pack" answered Gwen.

"Wait, so it's like an extra set of hands?" Asked Ben. They heard the sound of rattling and saw that Max had put the pack on.

"I'll take this", said Max. "You got the Omnitrix and you got your spells".

"Now that we got everything", said Ben. "Let's go save some employees". They left the security office and headed towards another door. This time, it had a blue handprint on a scanner above the door.

"Wonder what that is?" Asked Ben.

"Looks like some kind of scanner", answered Gwen. "But, why is it all the way up there?".

"I wonder" said Max. He pulled the trigger on the cannon with the blue hand and it went straight to the scanner. A blue loading bar then appeared and when it finished, the door opened.

"Well, I guess that answers that question" said Gwen.

"Come on" said Max. The three of them walked down the hallway until they got to what looked like the central lobby. There were doors that lead to the Cafeteria, innovation, testing and power. At the centre was a large, dark blue, fuzzy monster with long limbs, yellow hands, yellow feet, red lips, beady eyes and a blue tie. Around it were large building blocks that spelt 'Huggy Wuggy'.

"Whoa, major creep show" groaned Ben. Gwen then walked up to an information board in front of the fuzzy monster.

"Huggy Wuggy?", wondered Gwen. "I'm no toy designer, but, I think they could've done a lot better".

"Hehe yeah", agreed Ben. "It looks like a giant weird sock monkey". Ben's eyes then fell on one word on the information board. Or rather, one name.

"Elliot Ludwig?", wondered Ben. "I feel like I heard of him before".

"Well, he is the founder of Playtime Co" said Gwen.

"Nonono, somewhere else", said Ben. "But I just can't put my finger on it".

"Up there" said Gwen pointing to one of the doors. Above the one she was pointing to, was another scanner.

"I think we just found out where to go next" said Max. He then fired the blue hand from his Grab Pack and it touched the scanner. But, when it did, the power went out.

"Aw man" groaned Ben.

"The power must've cut out" said Max.

"Given how old this building is, I'm not surprised" said Gwen. They then heard the sound of a metallic jingle.

"What was that?" Asked Ben. They looked up and saw that the giant Huggy Wuggy now had a key.

"Okay", said Gwen nervously. "This doesn't look creepy in the slightest". Max then used the Grab Pack to grab the key.

"This is the key for the power room" said Max.

"Then guess where we're going" said Gwen. They then walked towards the door labeled 'Power'. Max put the key in the lock and turned it. The doors then opened. Inside, it was pitch black, with little to no light.

"Well, this doesn't look creepy at all" said Ben sarcastically. Gwen then slapped him on the back of the head.

"Not helping" said Gwen. They then walked in and tried to navigate through the dark.

"Man", said Ben. "I can't even see two feet in front of my f-AAAHH!". Ben then slipped on something.

"Ugh", groaned Ben as he got up. "What did I-". He stopped when he saw what was on his hands. Much to his utter shock, he found out it was blood.

"Ben?", asked Max. "Are you-". Both Max and Gwen walked over him, but stopped when they saw he had literal blood on his hands.

"Is that, b-blood?" Asked Gwen. Ben immediately tries to wipe it off, succeeding after a few minutes. During all this, he walks backwards and into something.

"Huh, what did I just hit?" Asked Ben. Gwen then walked up to it and examined it.

"It looks like some kind of power conduit" answered Gwen.

"Looks like we need to power it up", answered Max. "And I think I saw one". Max the walked over to a panel with some glass on it, and sed the Grab Pack to open it.

'Now, let's see if I remember this' thought Max. He fired out the hand on the Grab Pack at the electrical outlet behind it and the wire glowed. He then unraveled and then started to walk backwards until the wire hit the conduit. The electricity roared into life and the power came back on.

"Well, at least the power's back on" said Gwen.

"Now, let's get out of here" said Max. When they walked out, they gasped when they saw that Huggy Wuggy was gone.

"Uh, where'd the giant blue fuzzy thing go?" Asked Ben.

"I don't know", said Max. "But we better keep our eyes open". Max then uses his Grab Pack to open the door with the scanner.

"Well then", said Max. "Let's get going".
