Author's note.

Yeah, Huggy Wuggy's gone. But, if you played the Poppy Playtime games, you know who comes next. I'm also trying to go for a more original approach to the events of Poppy Playtime. Meaning, some events in Poppy Playtime will play out either slightly different or completely different. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 4

A Fly In A Web

"Ugh, my head" groaned Ben as he sat up, Max and Gwen followed not too long after.

"What happened?" Asked Gwen. Max then saw that the case was open.

"I think Annabelle just got out" said Max. Ben and Gwen just blinked. Max only sighed. They navigated their way through until they got back into the factory.

"Great, we're still in a factory" said Ben. As they walked down the corridor, they heard-.

"Come here".

"Okay, now THAT is creepy" said Gwen.

"Stay close, you two" said Max. They then arrived outside of a door that had 'Elliot Ludwig' written on a metal board.

"Well then", said Ma reaching for the door. "Let's see what the founder is hiding". He turned the door handle and the door are opened to reveal an office. There were child drawings on the wall, and a brown smashed VHS tape on the desk.

"Well, there goes that idea" said Max.

"There has to be something around that can help" said Gwen as she started to search the office. They searched around the office. The looked in every nook and cranny they could find. But, Ben then opened one of the draws on the desk and saw that there was a note inside.

"I found something" said Ben as Max and Gwen walked over to him.

"Good find, Ben" said Max.

"It's from Elliot Ludwig", said Ben as he began to read. "'I can't believe it worked, all my research is finally paying off. That Poppy mixture is everything I hoped for and more. But, I can't take all the credit as I had-'…..crud, the rest is smudged out. Why was he so obsessed with Poppy Flowers?". Suddenly, there was a rattling sound in the vents.

"Something's coming" said Max. Ben reached for the Omnitrix, Gwen's hands started to glow and Max reached for his belt. The vent rattled until something fell out, it was….

"Poppy?!" The Tennysons asked in shocked.

"Oh, um, hello", said Poppy giving a nervous wave. "I, didn't mean to scare you".

"A little late for that" said Gwen.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Ben.

"You looked like you needed", answered Poppy. "So, I'm gonna help you". Ben then grabbed Poppy.

"Then lead on" said Ben. They left the office and went back into the hallway again.

"I never got your names", said Poppy. "Can you tell me who you are?".

"Most certainly, I'm Ben 10", said Ben proudly. "Greatest hero in the world". Gwen then smacked him on the back of the head.

"You know you're not the only in this, right?", asked Gwen. "I'm Gwen, I'm his cousin".

"And I'm Max, their Grandpa" added Max.

"Well, Ben, Gwen, Max", said Poppy. "It's nice to meet you all. Though, Ben, what is that thing on your wrist?".

"It's called the Omnitrix", answered Ben. "It let's me turn into aliens, I used to only have 10, but now, I have 18".

"Quite impressive", said Poppy. "Oh, you should know that there's a train in the factory".

"There is?" Asked the Tennysons.

"Yes", answered Poppy. "It needs a code, and I have it. So just follow me and *gasp* STOP!". Ben Gwen and Max stopped in their tracks. Good thing they did, otherwise they would've fallen into a large hole in the floor.

"Thanks for the save, Poppy" said Gwen.

"You're welcome", said Poppy. "Now, we need to-". A pink hand came out of the hole. Before anyone could react, the hand grabbed Poppy and pulled her in, screaming.

"Poppy!" Shouted the Tennysons in worry.

"We gotta save her" said Ben. He then ran forward and jumped into the hole. Max and Gwen followed soon after.

"Hey, uh, guys", said Ben. "Does this feel like-".

"A slide?" Asked Max and Gwen.

"Yeah, a slide" answered Ben. Eventually, they they came out of the end and landed on the floor. They got up and looked around. Ben's eyes fell on an archway with a train on the front. Above the train read 'Game Station'.

"Look at this" said Ben pointing to the sign.

"I have a feeling that's where we need to go" said Max. Max went to pull the lever beside the door leading to the Game Station, but, it wouldn't open.

"Power must be out" said Gwen. Max then saw a door with 'Power' written over the frame.

"Then I guess that's where we're going" said Max. They then opened the door, at the end of the room, there was a power source, two Tesla Coils and a power conduit.

"Looks like we're gonna need to divert the power", said Max. "You think Upgrade could help us?".

"I think I got something better" said Ben. The Omnitrix dial popped up and he slammed it down. In a flash of green light, Ben turned into Frankenstrike.

"That's the alien you fought Ghostfreak with" said Gwen.

"Yeah, this one's got electrical powers", said Frankenstrike. "So, I can charge the conduit". Frankenstrike walked over, charged up his coils, grabbed the conduit and released the electricity. With that, the power came back on.

"Well, that worked" said Gwen. Max then pulled the lever and the door started to roll up. But, it eventually stopped, not completely opening.

"Nut" said Max.

"I got this" said Frankenstrike. He grabbed the bottom of the door and forced it up.

"Guess we go this way" said Gwen. The three of them walked down the hall until they got to another roller door. This one had a red hand scanner. Max then fired his red hand from the Grab Pack, but, before it could make contact, a hand grabbed it, causing them to gasped.

"A new playmate" a sweet voice said. The red hand was then pulled off the Grab Pack cable. Max nearly fell over, but was grabbed by Frankenstrike.

"You okay, Grandpa?" Asked Frankenstrike. Max didn't respond, as the sound of crawling could be heard coming from the roof. What came was a female figure with long arms, green eyes and a pink ponytail.

"It's been so~ long~" the creature said.

"Who are you?" Demanded Frankenstrike.

"Oh, well that's not very nice", the creature said, mockingly. "Didn't your mom teach you manners? Speaking of, I'm Mommy Long Legs. Isn't this exciting, Poppy?". She then brought out Poppy, who was tied up with webbing and had webbing over her mouth.

"Very exciting, Mommy" Mommy Long Legs mocked in an attempt to copy Poppy's voice.

"Mommy heard that Poppy was just gonna give you the train code to escape", said Mommy Long Legs. "Instead, why don't we make a game out of it? The game station is still working, it'll be just like old times. *poor Poppy imitation* And, if you win all three games, I'll give you the train code *normal voice* Mommy loves that idea, Poppy. Head to Musical Memory, and Mommy will get things started".

"And if we don't?" Asked Gwen. Mommy Long Legs then stretch her neck down.

"Obey the rules", said Mommy Long Legs. "Or I'll tear you apart, and eat your insides, while you're still alive". Mommy Long Legs then laughed as she crawled away. The roller door then rolled up.
