Now, here's the final part of the chapter 2 section of 'Poppy Playtime'. Now, let's see if Ben can face Mommy Longlegs. Also, take your bets on whether Ben is gonna be traumatised or not. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 6

Hide and Seek

"Keep your eyes open", said Max. "She could be anywhere". It was quiet. Too quiet. The only sounds they heard were those of their feet on the floor. The next room they entered looked to be some kind of water room.

"Now what?" Asked Ben.

"I think we need to use those buttons to turn the platforms, so we can cross" answered Max. He then started pressing the buttons and the platforms started to move. Gwen then found a piece of paper on the floor.

"Check this out" said Gwen. Ben and Max looked over her shoulders.

"Marie Payne?" Wondered Ben.

"It looks like an experiment log", answered Gwen. "And it's for….Mommy Longlegs".

"You mean that thing was once a human?" Asked Ben, almost completely shocked by this.

"Think about it later", said Max. "We need to keep moving". They then walked across the platforms and through another door.

"Did you hear that?" Asked Ben.

"Yeah, I heard it", answered Gwen, sounding just as scared. Max was about to use the Grab Pack, when they heard a scream and Mommy Longlegs jumped down, scaring the crap out of them.

"I asked you to play fair", said Mommy Longlegs. "And you, CHEATED! I HATE cheaters".

"You were the one who rigged the games against us, you Betty Spaghetti wannabe" said Ben.

"Well", said Mommy Longlegs, still furious. "We are gonna play, one, last, GAME!". Mommy Longlegs started to change, her fingers extending and her ponytail becoming messy.

"It's called", said Mommy Longlegs. "Hide~. And~. SEEK!~". Mommy Longlegs' eyes turned almost completely black.

Ben's Omnitrix then turned green.

"5".

Ben started to twist the dial.

"3".

"2". Ben then slammed down the Omnitrix and turned into Upgrade.

"1" finished Upgrade. He then fired a laser out of his eye, sending Mommy Longlegs into the wall. Mommy Longlegs then got back up and started chuckling.

"Uh-oh" said Upgrade.

"RUN!" Shouted Max. They then ran off with Mommy Longlegs then ran after them, chuckling all the while.

"Seriously? UPGRADE?!" Asked Gwen, a little frustrated.

"I was going for Arctiguana or Heatblast", answered Upgrade. "Besides, I got the alien I wanted the last few times". Mommy Longlegs then tried to grab them, when Upgrade turned one of his hammers into a square hammer and smashed Mommy Longlegs' hand. She then nestled her hand before growling.

"So, THAT'S how you want to play it?" Growled Mommy Longlegs. She then grabbed Max and Gwen by the legs, pulled, making them fall to the floor and started dragging them back.

"Grandpa! Gwen!" Shouted Upgrade in concern. He then fired another laser from his eye, directly into Mommy Longlegs' face, disorienting her. She then released Max and Gwen and they started running again.

"No you DON'T!" Shouted Mommy Longlegs, stretching out her hand. Upgrade saw this coming.

"DUCK!" Shouted Upgrade. They then ducked and Mommy Longlegs' hand got stuck in something and tried to pull it out. She did manage to get it out, but it caused a pillar to collapse. There was a rumbling sound, and rubble started to fall.

"The place is coming down" said Upgrade.

"We gotta get out of here" said Gwen. Max then saw something and gasped.

"Ben, look out!" Shouted Max bushing Upgrade out of the way. Rubble then seemingly buried Max and Gwen/separated them from Upgrade.

"NO~!" Shouted Upgrade. He then heard the sound of Mommy Longlegs laughing and scuttling towards him. Upgrade only scowled.

"You", growled Upgrade. "Twisted, Ugly, Mother-". Mommy Longlegs then swatted him away.

"Uhuhuh, language" mocked Mommy Longlegs.

"Language THIS!" Shouted Upgrade. He turned his hand into a shovel and smacked a bit of falling rubble into Mommy Longlegs' stomach. Upgrade then heard a crumbling sound from beneath him and the ground caved in. He then heard Mommy Longlegs' laugh and started running. Eventually, he saw a Grab Pack scanner.

"Hope this works" said Upgrade. He launches his hand forward and merges it with the scanner and after a few minutes, a roller door opened. Mommy Longlegs' then started scuttling up to him.

"Come on", said Upgrade. "I'm ready for it". He then heard the dreaded beeping sound from his watch. In a red flash, he turned back into Ben.

"Or not" said Ben. He then started running. Mommy Longlegs was starting to gain ground, manacling laughing. She got closer, and closer and closer. Until, she pounced onto Ben and they had hit a grinder-like machine, with one of her hands stuck inside.

"Now", said Mommy Longlegs, creepily. "What punishment shall mommy give you".

"Lady", said Ben with a scowl on his face. "You are not my mother". Ben then bit Mommy Longlegs' hand. She screamed, tossed him and he landed on a switch, which snapped. The grinder turned on and Mommy Longlegs was being pulled in. She then released a blood curdling scream. Ben then crawled away, his eyes locked onto the scene.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!", shouted Mommy Longlegs. "HE'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!". One of Mommy Longlegs' arms came off. Ben started to hear crunching noises. He curled up, covered his ears and closed his eyes. Mommy Longlegs then released a disoriented scream, causing Ben to curl up more, he even started to whimper a bit. He lost Gwen and Max and now THIS? Eventually, it stopped. Ben stood up and saw what remained of Mommy Longlegs. There was blood dripping out of the grinder and her corpse. Ben suddenly gagged and ran over to the machine and puked. He did this for about a minute before collapsing to his knees. Then-.

"BEN!". Ben then saw Gwen and Max running towards him.

"Grandpa. Gwen" he said, practically in tears. They saw that he was crying and had vomited and ran up to him.

"Are you okay?" Asked Max. Gwen even looked worried. She knew her cousin was a dweeb, but he looked. Looked. Traumatised.

"I. I didn't mean to", said Ben. "It snapped when I fell on it. And. And". Max and Gwen looked at Mommy Longlegs' corpse. Gwen gagged a bit and Max gasped.

"Dear god" whispered Max. They heard a clinking sound and a tin, metal hand reached in, grabbed Mommy Longlegs' corpse and pulled it away.

"What, was that?" Asked Gwen.

"I don't know", said Max. "But, I think it's best if we keep moving". They then saw that the roller door opened.

"I think that's our exit" said Ben. They then walked through it and ended up in the rafters of the game station. As they walked across it, Ben was unusually quiet.

"You okay, Ben?" Asked Max.

"When Mommy Longlegs got, well", said Ben, who couldn't bring himself to say it. "It, sounded like she was scared. She said that 'he would make her part of him'. What did she mean by-". They then saw Poppy trapped to the wall with a spider web. Max then used the Grab Pack to rip it off.

"Are you alright?" Asked Ben.

"I'm fine", answered Poppy. "Where's Mommy Longlegs?".

"I, k-k-k-killed her" said Ben.

"Good", said Poppy. "I'll bored the train. See you there". Poppy then left through the vents. The Tennysons then made their way to the train. After Max typed in the code, the train started.

"Yes!" Cheered Ben. The train started to move and chuffed down the tunnel. However, something seemed to be wrong.

"Hey, can you hear me?" asked Poppy over the radio.

"Loud and clear" said Max.

"You seem to be going faster" said Poppy over the radio.

"Huh?" Wondered Ben. All three of them then looked at the speedometer.

"She's right", answered Gwen. "We're speeding up, VERY quickly". They tried to stop the train, but it was hopeless. Eventually, the train crashed.

"Hello?", asked Poppy over the radio, though it was a bit fuzzy. "Ben? Max? Gwen? Are you there? *buzz* There's something *buzz* you need to *buzz*". Ben's eyes started to close. But they saw one sign before his eyes closed. It read 'Playcare'.
