How is everyone doing? This chapter; Oliver is having nightmares and goes to visit Laurel while Kara starts to become Supergirl.

Chapter Two: Nightmares and Savings

Starling City: Queen Mansion

It was night time at the Queen Mansion, rain was hitting the windows of Oliver's bedroom as he tossed on the floor asleep.

Flashback

Queen's Gambit: 5 years ago

"1, 2, 3," Sara counted "It's getting closer," she said as Oliver poured them some champagne.

"That's not very scientific," Oliver told her walking over to the bed handing her the glass.

"What would you know about , Mr. Ivy League dropout?"

"I happen to know a lot about science. I know about fermentation. I know biology," Oliver smiled, kissing her.

"Kara's gonna kill me," Sara sighed "Oh, she's so gonna kill me."

"Kara will never know," Oliver promised her, "Come here," he threw her on the bed.

Sara laughed as thunder struck again, "Ok, that sounded really close," she told him.

"Sara, we're going to be fine." Oliver kissed her again.

The champagne glasses tilt and suddenly the cabin flips and they're thrown to opposite sides of the room. Sara screams, Oliver regains his balance and looks up to find Sarah only to see her ripped away by the ocean.

"Sara?" Oliver sat up looking around for Sara as the water took Sara away "Sara!"

Oliver falls into the water after her "Sara!?" he called out coming above the water. "Sara!?"

"Oliver!" A crew member calls his name.

"Sara?"

"Oliver!"

Oliver turns around swimming over to the lifeboat, "Gus," he climbs into the lifeboat, "No, no!" He turns to go back in the water but Robert stops him.

"She's not there," Robert told him.

"Sara!"

"She's gone."

Queen Manson: Present day

Moira called her Oliver's name shaking him slightly, "Oliver? Oliver wake up," then Oliver suddenly jumps up in attack mode pinning Moira to the ground.

"Oliver!" Walter calls out.

Oliver looks up at Walter then looked down at Moira, he stare at her terrified as she let her go. He backed away crawling into a ball.

"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry," Oliver murmured as Walter helps Moira up.

"It's okay," Moira made her way over to Oliver "Your home now."

Starling City: CatCo Worldwide Media

Kara walked the street of Starling City bumping into to people saying sorry as she spoke on the phone ordering tickets for her bosses mother.

She had took Robbie and Astra to school, they were going on a school trip today out of town, she exited the elevator stepping on to the floor walking to her office.

"So," Winn came up to her "How was dinner with Oliver?"

Kara's head snapped up, "How did you know I had dinner him?"

"Tommy," Winn replied shrugging.

Kara let out a sigh "He knows about the kids...and they know about him."

"What wait?" Winn looked at her "You actually told them?"

"They started asking if he was their uncle, then he figured out that Moira had remarried to Walter," Winn's eyes widened even more at her words "I took the kids upstairs so they could sort that out, then he came upstairs and I told Astra while Robbie was in the bathroom..."

"So does he want to be part of their lives?" Winn asked.

"I have no idea," Kara shrugged "Tommy took us home early because Robbie had gotten sick from one of the foods before we had a chance to talk."

Winn eyed her. "You and Tommy have been getting kind of close lately..."

"What?" Kara raised an eyebrow "How are we getting close?"

"Well he sees you more than I do and I work with you, then he likes to bring you lunch, and watches the twins when you're busy."

"He's their godfather Winn," Kara told him "He's supposed to look after them."

"I still have resentment on that."

Kara laughed "Well maybe next time Winn."

Winn raised an eyebrow "Next time?" He repeated.

"Don't think too much into it Winn," Kara said.

Starling City: CNRI Office

"Laurel, I just got this from Hunt's lawyers. They filed a change of venue. We are now in front of Judge Grell." Johanna said.

"Hunt funded Grell's re-election campaign," Laurel retorted.

"Mm-hmm."

"He's got Grell in his back-pocket."

"You know, it's fun being your friend. I get to say "I told you so" a lot," Johanna told Laurel.

"No," Laurel said, "Adam Hunt is not smarter than we are."

"No, he's just richer and willing to commit multiple felonies." Johanna corrected

"We don't need to go outside the law..."

""to find justice." Your dad's favorite jingle." Johanna finished her sentence.

Laurel smiled then turned around to see Oliver.

"Hello, Laurel."

Starling City: CatCo Worldwide Media

"Hello?" Kara slowly walked into the office "Hello?"

"I'll be just a minute," she heard a deep voice.

Kara cleared her throat "Miss Grant sent me for layouts and she doesn't like to wait."

"She can wait a minute," the man came into view.

"Have you met Miss Grant?"

"What's she going to do?" He asked Kara "Fire me after hiring me? Her loss." He shrugged.

He turned around to face Kara "Hey," he smiled "I'm the new guy."

Kara chuckles the cleared her throat.

"Oh, it's him," Kara pointed to the picture of Superman "I've seen this picture, uh, like a million times."

"It won the Pulitzer," he told her

"Wow."

"Yeah, only 'cause it was the first real shot of him."

"Little secret, he actually posed for that. I guess he likes me."

"Oh, my God, you're Jimmy Olsen," Kara looked up at the man "The photographer from the Daily Planet."

"James Olsen..."

Starling City: Outside of CNRI Office

"You went to law school," Oliver smiled. "You said you would."

"Yeah. Everyone's proud."

"Adam Hunt's a heavy hitter," he told her "Are you sure you want to get in the ring with him?"

"Five years and you want to talk about Adam Hunt?" Laurel asked bluntly stopped walking

"No. Not really." Oliver looked down.

"Why are you here?"

"To apologize. It was my fault. I wanted to ask you not to blame her." Oliver told her looking back up.

"For what?" Laurel asked "Falling under your spell. How could I possibly blame her for doing the same things that every girl did?

"I never meant to..."

"She was my sister," Laurel told him. "I couldn't be angry because she was dead. I couldn't grieve because I was so angry. That's what happens when your sister dies while screwing one of your best friend's boyfriend," she added "Wait no, screwing her fiancé, you hurt Kara badly." Laurel told him "We buried an empty coffin...because her body was at the bottom of the ocean where you left her. It should have been you."

Oliver looked shocked and hurt by her words. "I know that it's too late to say this, but I'm sorry."

"Yeah, I'm sorry, too. I'd hoped that you'd rot in hell a whole lot longer than 5 years," she told him then turning to walk away, stopping at Tommy who stood watching "How did you think that was gonna go, Tommy?" She asked, walking away not waiting for an answer.

"About like that."

After speaking to Laurel, Oliver and Tommy were walking in an alleyway back to Tommy's car.

When suddenly a van stopped in front them, they were ambushed then was shot with tranquilizers. Two of the men but them in the van as a bystander watched.

"Hey!" The bystander called out but was shot.

Meanwhile; Kara and Winn were meeting Laurel for lunch, they were entering the small restaurant when Kara overheard the kidnapping.

"Uh," her eyes widened at Tommy's voice then gun shots, she turned to Winn "I just remembered...I have to plan a doctor's appointment for the twins."

"What?" Winn looked at her "Can't you just do that here?"

"No, they're doing it at the DEO and I want to talk to the new director and the medical examiner ."

"Fine," Winn sighed.

Kara nodded, she followed the sound of the van, running she couldn't believe she was doing this. She had never done anything like this, saving people let alone Tommy and Oliver.

Flashback

On the lifeboat. Gus sets up a fluorescent light above the boat. Robert gives Oliver a bottle of water to drink.

"Here, son. Drink."

"What the hell are you doing?!" Gus pointed to the water bottle "That's all we've got."

"If anybody's making it out of here, it's gonna be him. I'm so sorry. I thought I'd have more time. I'm not the man you think I am. I didn't build our city. I failed it. And I wasn't the only one." Robert told Gus.

Starling City: Desolate Warehouse

"Mr. Queen," the hood was yanked off his Oliver's head, "Mr. Queen! Did your father survive that accident?" The masked guy asked.

"Who are you?" Oliver asked.

"I ask the questions. You give me the answers." The man tasers Oliver "Did he make it to the island? Did he tell you anything?" He tased Oliver again.

"Yes, he did," Oliver said weakly.

"What did he tell you, Mr. Queen?"

Oliver glances over at an unconscious Tommy on the floor also zipped tied.

"He told me..."

Before Oliver could finish his sentence one of the kidnappers were blown away by air hitting the wall knocking him unconscious, "What the hell?" one of the kidnappers turned to where the air came from but only saw a figure in the shadows.

"Step away from him," she spoke.

"Your a female, your not Superman," one of the kidnappers laughed "What are you going to do?"

Oliver focused his gaze on the dark trying to see the person, he knew the voice. How could he forget her voice?

Heat beams left her eyes hitting the kidnappers hand making him drop the taser wincing, the third kidnapper tried to run but she moved fast moving in a blur taking them both out, Tommy eyes slowly opened at the commotion.

She was moving faster knowing neither Oliver or Tommy could see her while moving this fast, she undid their zip ties putting the zip ties on the kidnappers.

And with that Supergirl has her first save! How'd you all enjoy this chapter?

This was in the process before I took my brake so decided to just finish it over the weekend.
