Kotori walked into the containment room where Shido laid on the medical bed. The pain in her heart of seeing her brother this way weighed so heavily on her heart. She sat down next to Shido in a chair that was next to his bed. Shido kept saying the word "Inversion" over and over while staring at the ceiling. "Shido... we'll- I know your not Shido. But I think I know who's in control of him." Kotori said crossing her legs. Shido looked over to Kotori and smiled smugly. "Kotori Itsuka. It's been awhile hasn't it?" Shido said with the same eyes he had at his wedding before he passed out.

"So it is you... Isaac Westcott. How exactly are you in control of my brother's body? He killed you with Kurumi's angel and your body was burned and even blown up by the DEM building when it exploded." Kotori said curious to what Westcott's answer would be. "Let me answer your question with another question: Do you know what Shido Itskua can do when he's an inverse?" Wescott asked with the same smug look.

"I'll bite. What exactly can my brother do?" Kotori asked taking her lolipop out of her mouth. "You see when an inversion takes place, a spirits power is multiplied by several levels and is in its purist and most original form. Your brother dosent need to kiss a spirit while inverse to gain their power or even seal it. He can simply absorb it by using a different angel..." Wescott said looking back to the ceiling.

"You mean when Shido shot you in the head with Zaphkiel, he didn't just kill you, he absorbed both Beelzebub and..." Kotori's eyes went wide with horror. "Yes. He absorbed my consciousness along with all my traits and my power. Shido Itsuka saved your future, but a hero can't be a hero unless he makes the sacrifices to save everyone else." Kotori stood up from the chair quickly and backed up.

"Tell me, Kotori Itsuka..." Wescott began. "Was he ever anything more to you than your tool? You never told him about your spirit powers, your position as commander of Rataoskr , or even gave him a single day off. He never complained once to you when all his own sister, the only family he had, ever did was lie to him and put his life on the line every day while you just sat in a chair eating a lolipop giving him orders..." Westcott said beginning to laugh evily.

"Shut up! You don't know anything about me! You think it didn't hurt me everytime he went out to face a spirit to seal her knowing he could die at any moment! He's my only brother and I had to put him at risk!" Kotori said with tears prickling her eyes. "Commander, this is what Isaac Westcott wants. He's trying to make you go into an inversion. Leave the room now!" Reine said firmly over Kotori's ear com. Kotori ran out of the containment room crying as Westcott smiled evily still in control of Shido's body. "That was too easy. Next time will be a success..." Wescott said looking back up to the ceiling.

-Outside the Containment Room, Seconds Later-

Kotori ran into Reine's arms crying as the other nine spirits looked at Kotori with sympathy. "Commander what he said was meant to get to you personally. It wasn't true." Reine said patting Kotori's head while she cried into Reine's chest. "It was all true! He was my only brother and I used him like a tool for my duty to Ratatoskr. I never gave him a choice or asked him what he wanted to do. Im a horrible person and worse a horrible sister!" Kotori sobbed. "If he weren't in control he'd of Shido's body I'd beat the crap out of him..." Oragami said gritting her teeth and punching the metal wall so hard it both cracked and dented.

"We need someone to go in there who has never gone inverse before. And there's only one of us who can stop theirs if they even do." Reine said turning to Kurumi. "I cant. Shido-San saved me and even was going to marry me yesterday. Im too unstable emotionally and after everything that's happened, I can't bear it." Kurumi said shaking her head. "Kurumi, please! Shido needs you. We all love him and we all would take the words 'in sickness and in health and for better and for worse' seriously. Can you really be his wife if you won't help him now?" Tohka said looking both sad and frustrated with the situation and at Kurumi.

"Look I get your having some marital issues even before your marriage but this guy saved all of us and most of all he went through absolute hell for you the most. You tried to kill him like three times and killed thousands of people and he still loved you and almost died for you. You gonna call yourself his future wife and won't even help him at the worst moment he's ever faced. That's the ugliest thing I can think of." Natsumi said scowling.

"I-" Kurumi began to say.

"You know I think that the reason you're called Nightmare isn't because you are one yourself, but because you show up when there is one and just let it continue." Oragami said with a smirk. "Shut up!!!!" Kurumi said feeling her emotions go even more negative than when Sawa had died. As the dark spirit aura flowed around her she then summoned Zaphkiel and shot herself with Yud, she gasped for air as she calmed down.

"Oragami that was too far!" Yoshino said feeling sad from Oragami's harsh words at Kurumi. "I just wanted to show her that if she does go inverse, she can stop if she chooses. Sometimes we all just need some tough love to help us push through a tough situation." Oragami said looking at Yoshino.

"I'm sorry I had to do that Kurumi Tokisaki. I understand if you're angry with me." Oragami said looking back to Kurumi. "I actually can understand your actions. But if you hadn't done it for Shido-San I would've done worse to you than what he did to Isaac Westcott." Kurumi said with her back to normal attitude.

"Just go in there. And be quick. If you can't reach Shido or learn how to get Westcott out of Shin's mind, his mind may not be able to recover." Reine said now looking at Shido's brain functions on her computer screen.

"I'll do whatever it takes, Mio- I mean..." Kurumi looked at Reine who didn't look away from the computer screen. "Reine..." Kurumi said softly smiling at he old enemy. She knew that if this were the last time she'd see the real Shido, he'd want to know she found a way to move on from her hatred. And for once, Reine smiled a little as well. "The Future isn't ever written in stone for us, Kurumi. Not until it's above our heads after we're gone. Shin taught me that. Now go to him and save his..."

Kurumi nodded and walked into the medical room. Westcott turned his head to face the man he was of control in's wife. The one spirit he wanted to go into inversion the most. "Well then... the hardest challenge always comes first. Doesn't it Nightmare?" Shido said. Kurumi's took a breath and sat down in the same chair Kotori had sat in just awhile before.

"Let's get this over with Westcott. I have a wedding to rearrange and I dont have allot of time..." Kurumi said firmly.
