Guest: I'll... think about the idea.
jemmettryan142: now.

Guest: Hmm, I'll think about including Camp Cretaceous.
Glasses Writer: he's the same size as the Indoraptor from Fallen Kingdom.
Dinokid11: Hmm...
BeoWolf666: Yep.
Disclaimer I do not own Jurassic World. I only own the OC Jason Grady/Shadow.
"I hate this." Jason grumbled out loud as he shook within his muzzle restraints. He really hated it when he had to be put in one of these, but it was so he could be checked without the risk of a worker/handler getting their arm torn off.
"Calm down." Blue said from his left. All of the Raptors were in the muzzle restraints to be checked over. Barry was there, soothing them in French while also making sure that their teeth was perfect and healthy. If a tooth wasn't, then the vet would be called over for tooth removal. Jason hadn't encountered that problem yet, but the girls had and told him their experience although they had been heavily under sedation so as to not feel their tooth being removed.
"How fast can they run?" A voice asked, making the Raptors and Barry look to see Hoskins standing nearby, causing the girls to growl angrily. They never liked the man. And they never will.
"Forty." Barry answered, sending the man a suspicious look. "Fifty when they're hungry. We clocked Shadow at sixty."
Hoskins smirked as that as he approached, takimg no heed of the low, warning growls that the Raptor pack was letting out. "You ever think about letting them out in the field again, see if those records can be beat?" He asked.
Barry gave him a 'are you serious?' look before responding dryly. "No."
Echo then writhed and shook in her restraints, making Hoskins jump but he covered it up with a laugh. However, the Raptors could smell the fear on the man which gave them satisfaction. barry chuckled, more out of amusement towards Hoskins' reaction.
"What do you think? You want to take one home?" He asked the man sarcastically, having no intention of actually letting that happen. He didn't trust the man as much as Owen didn't.
"Hey, don't joke." Hoskins said, following Barry over to Delta. "When I was your age I rescued a wolf pup. "It was like two months old. Could barley walk. It used to sleep by my bed, watch over me. One day my wife, she came at me with a steak knife. It took a chunk out of her arm."
"You put him down?" Barry questioned.
"Hell no."
"I hope his wife left him for that." Jason said, making the girls chuckle.
"We had a unshakable bond, you know. Just like you and... um" he said before he began trying to remember the raptor's name. He looked at the other, then pointed to Delta. "What's his name again?"
"Did he just call me a male?!" Delta snarled, while her sisters and pack-brother laughed.
Barry gave Hoskins a glare. "Delta. And she's a girl."
Hoskins nodded, then backed up to stand next to Jason who narrowed his eyes. "Can I...?" Hoskins inched his hand towards the Indoraptor.
"You bring that hand towards me, and I'll rip it off your arm!" Jason snarled, shaking in his restraints but Barry was there to calm his down with gentle touches and Hoskins soon placed his hand on the side of the Indoraptor's neck, feeling his pulse and the shaking of his body, showing the building rage.
"Oh wow..." Hoskins smiled in awe at the feeling, the experience.
Jason just growled. He didn't like Hoskins. He had notice the man look at him with a smirk that looked... knowing. As if he knew something that Jason didn't, or something that everybody else didn't. He couldn't figure out why the man would smirk like that, and specifically at him.
Suddenly Barry's phone beeped. He looked at the message before swearing in French.
"Code 19! They're saying we lost two guys!" He yelled at the workers on the catwalk. Immediately they began running to secure everything and keep their eyes out.
"What's a code 19?" Hoskins questioned.
"Asset out of containment. These people, they never learn." Barry answered walking away. Meanwhile Hoskins got out his phone.
"They're gonna learn all kinds of things about their new asset now" he said before putting the phone next to his ear. "Hey, yeah. It's me. We may have an opportunity here."
"What do you think he means?" Blue questioned.
"Who knows." Jason would shrug if he could.
"If you put that thing on me, I'm going to come for you first!" Jason snarled next to the screeches of the girls. Men had swarmed over the area by nightfall, men in InGen vans. They began setting up a command post, and then fitted the Raptors with what looked like cameras. The type that would be placed on police dogs or animals that are used in war.
Hoskins watched the Raptors be fitted before bending in front of Jason who narrowed his eyes. "Hey!" The man snapped his fingers in front of the Indoraptor who snarled, but the man just laughed.
"He looks at what he wants to." Barry said from the side. The man had been against this, but had been forced to the side. "Usually what he wants to eat." he added as Hoskins stopped smiling and took a few steps back.
Suddenly headlights penetrated the darkness as a vehicle pulled up. Hoskins left the small cage with Barry as Owen and Claire got out. Jason was also able to see two boys in the back of the vehicle, which made him curious.
"When did Alpha get a mate and hatchlings?" Charlie questioned curiosly.
"I don't think they're his, Charlie. As for the woman... I think he mentioned her." Jason said.
"Ah! The mother hen finally-" Hoskins was interrupted when Owen threw a hard left hook at the smaller man, nearly sending him to the ground.
"Ooh!" The Raptors and the two boys in the vehicle exclaimed as other humans came to Hoskins' rescue and he nursed his jaw and stared back at Owen.
"You go, uncle Owen!" Jason called with a happy screech.
"Get the hell out of here." Owen said coldly, glaring at Hoskins. "And stay away from my animals."
"Hoskins, you wanted this to happen, you son of a bitch." Claire said with a sneer.
The man rolled his eyes. "Jesus! How many more people have to die before this mission starts to make sense to you people?"
"It's not a mission, it's another field test." Barry pointed out as he walked over.
"This is an InGen situation now." Hoskins continued as Claire scoffed and shook her head. "Okay there are going to be cruise ships that show up here at first light. Everybody's going to get off this island and you're gonna see a news story tomorrow about how you all saved lives. No, no better yet, how your animals saved lives!"
Owen was silent but was considering it. He had seen up close just what the new hybrid dinosaur could do to several full grown Brontosauruses. So if it was able to find where the hundreds of people were taking shelter...
"They've only been out of containment once. It's crazy" Barry said, making sure his friend knew all the risks that would come with this plan.
"Let's move it out!" Hoskins said to his team before turning back to Owen. "This is happening with or without you." he added.
Reluctantly, Owen agreed to help and they all moved off to the tent.
"What do you think's been happening?" Charlie questioned with a hint of fear.
"We have been hearing those strange roars." Echo added.
"Barry mentioned an asset was out of containment, which means one of the dinosaurs escaped." Jason stated. "And judging from how we're being fitted out, and from what the fat bastard said... it's a carnivore. The question is which."
"So what's this got to do with us?" Delta questioned.
Jason had a sinking feeling in his stomach. "I think we're being fitted to track it down..."
And that's it for this chapter. I'm sorry that it's short, but given that I am writing events of a movie that didn't feature the Raptors much... what you said is as best as I can make. But it's better than nothing.
