Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Episode 2 Pt 3
The two began there duel for the runner. Blaze saying "You go first Roman!"
"Thank you for the courtesy, but it won't help. I am looking forward to getting my hands on that runner. Here goes!" Roman said as he drew a card. He then plays one saying "I summon Chainsaw Insect in attack mode!" The monster looked like a metal any with chainsaw pincers and had 2400 Attack points.
Blaze's friends gasp in surprise at the sheer size of that big bug. Bulkhead in shock said "I am have seen big bugs down here but nothing that big!"
"It is quite the arthropod isn't it" Nefarious said noting it.
"Indeed it is! And next I will play the spell card Retribution of the Ant Lion!" Roman said playing the spell card and a hole forms in the middle between the duelists. He then said "I always figured there were big bugs down here, but take it from me you haven't seen anything yet!
The video tutorial plays and says while describing the spell card just played "Retribution of the Ant Lion is a spell card that does 800 points of damage to the controller when his or her monster is destroyed."
We go back to the duel and upon hearing what Roman said Bulkhead nervous said "Oh Primus, Blaze isn't a fan of bugs!"
Nefarious nods and said "Yeah, ever since that roach went and nested in her ear, she freezes up when you even mention the word insect, it is equel to her fear of heights. I just hope it doesn't throw her off her game."
"Come on Blaze! You can beat him!" Miko cheers out for her friend
Roman smirks overhearing the conversation and said "Scared of bugs, huh? Well this very duel will have you coming face to face with your fears!"
"You got her shaking in her shoes boss!" Legs calls out while Neo and Louis chuckle at this.
Blaze kept her fear from showing as she goes to draw a card "Not for long through" She said and draws a card "Because I am summoning my Shield Warrior in defense mode!" she summons a human warrior monster armed with a shield and a spear and it kneels in defence mode with defence points of 1600. She said this "Next I play one card face down" She does that
Roman laughs and said "Ha! I guess you really are scared, looks like you forgot all about attacking"
Louis smirks looking at Blaze and said "I wager she doesn't even make it to the end of this duel."
"I second that" Legs said chuckling while Neo giggles at that
"Well there is only one way to find out" Roman said as he drew a card then played another monster which was a green grasshopper with 1000 attack and 1200 defence saying "I summon Pinch Hopper in attack mode!" He then glaring at Blaze said "I see the fear in your eyes cause it is only going to get worse."
Roman sends a card to the graveyard while explaining "See by sending a card to the graveyard, I can play Insect Costume!" He shows the spell card while finishing his explanation "and add a scarier insect to my hand!" His crew cheers and claps for him
Meanwhile Roman's Pinch Hopper as something glowing white burst out of it's back. Roman confident holds his new card and said "This next part, you are sure to like cause now I have to destroy my Pinch Hopper" His monster bursts into blue sparkles
Bulkhead realizing something asked "Wait, if he destroys a monster? Doesn't his life points take a hit?" As if to answer his question the Ant Lion hole glows yellow and shoots a beam of yellow light at Roman reducing his life points to 3200.
Roman confused said "Wait a minute?! Did I just attack myself?!"
Blaze's friends look at him in disbelief and Miko face palming said "Something tells me hat guy here forgot he still had his Ant Lion spell card on the field."
Hearing that Roman checks his duel disk and realizes that was the truth and said "Oh...yeah I actually meant for that to happen. You see bu getting rid of my Pinch Hopper, I am able to do this. By activating its special ability and call out a creepier insect to take it's place like my powerful Metal Armored Bug!"
It was a large grey shelled yellow faced beetle with 2800 attack points. After it is summoned Roman explained "When Republic Security dumped me here in Sol, I thought I spend the rest of my life sifting through the trash." He smirks and said "But that runner is going to get me out of here and back where I belong."
To Blaze this just confirms her suspicions on why Roman wanted the runner but she stayed quiet. Louis then said "I think it's feeding time for you bugs boss!"
"and on the menu is a kitty cat" Legs said grinning while Neo laughs
Meanwhile Blaze's friend looked at Roman's new monster nervous Bulkhead said "Woah!"
"Blaze, try to imagine that bug is a soft cuddly puppy!" Miko said trying to get her friend's nerves calm.
Nefarious said "Well, Miko it is going to take a lot of imagination considering puppies don't have claws like that"
"Well her imagination must be great, especially if she thinks she can win!" Roman announces ready for his next move. "and after this next move, she will wish she never challenged me!" He sacrifices two monster cards and said "I special summon Doom Dozer!" This monster was a large red centipede like monster with 2800 attack points
Roman then taunts "I bet your world is going round and round right now, isn't it. But it is only going to get worse! Chainsaw Insect, time to attack!" His monster obays and going after Shield Warrior
"Not so fast, I play my face down Scrap Iron Scarecrow!" Blaze said quickly playing her facedown trap card which stops Chainsaw Insects attack shocking Roman while Blaze explained "and thanks to it your attack is repelled and my warrior is safe, unfortunately I can only play this once per round" The trap goes back to face down position
"Ha, since your bug trap is all used up lets see how you save yourself this time" Roman said confident now knowing he doesn't have to worrk about the trap card again and orders "Metal Armoured Bug attack! Take out his Shield Warrior!"
The large insect obeys running towards Shield Warrior and literally runs over it destroying it and shocking Blaze's friends in surprise at this. Blaze then said a little put off "So, are you finished?"
The Ant Lion spell activates and Roman said while saying "Oh so you're a tough cat now huh? Well my spell Retrubution of the Ant Lion will soften you up nicely!" The same yellow blast hits Blaze reducing her life points to 3200 "Now it is Doom Dozer's turn to shock you into submission! Doom Dozer attack!"
Doom Dozer fires an purple blast from it's mouth hitting Blaze and engulfing her shocking her friends with Ruby crying out "Blaze!" She then hugs Miko
Miko concerned said "Oh man, Blaze must be too scared to fight back!"
"Them bugs will squash her" Legs said smirking while Neo laughs and Louis nods in agreement.
Blaze was still standing and thinks to herself 'If I am going to stop those insects, I got to trust in the power of my cards' Her life points go down to 400
Roman then said with a look that almost pitted Blaze "Come on, this isn't much fun if you never attack! So are you ever going to?!"
Everyone stares silent at Blaze and then she gets out of the defensive pose and said "How is this for an answer?" She then drew a card and said "I summon out, Speed Warrior" Her monster emerges and she then plays a spell card "I then play the spell card Double Summon, which means your bugs will find themselves in double the trouble! Because now I can summon another monster, but ganging up is something you bullies thrive at, isn't it? That runner is staying put" She shows her Junk Syncron card "And Junk Syncron is going to make sure that it happens"
Her turner monster is summoned and the gang cheers knowing what is coming Ruby cheering "Yeah! Go Blaze!" Junk Syncron revs it's engine.
"Now with Junk Syncron and Speed Warrior on my field, I can Syncro Summon Junk Warrior!" Blaze said as the two monster syncro together "Junk Warrior! Let's burn it up!" Junk Warrior is summoned to the field and stands tall.
"Oh no!" Roman said shocked and nervous at the sight of the monster "With that kind of power, my insects don't stand much of a chance!"
"Don't worry boss, she's still afraid!" Louis calls out in support.
"Yeah just throw more your bugs her way!" Legs said while Neo chuckles in confidence.
Blaze serious said showing a spell card "I am not afraid with my Fighting Sprit equip spell card is in play!" She plays it and Junk Warriors big hand has a light coil around it and Blaze explained "See for each monster you have out on the field, my Junk Warrior gains 300 attack points" Which means Junk Warrior gains 900 attack points raising it to 3200
The gang excited cheer and Bulkhead said "I never doubted Blaze couldn't do it! Now time to exterminate those bugs!"
"and save your runner!" Ruby cheers happy
"Oh no! With all those attack points my bugs will be stomped by that thing!" Roman said really scared now.
"The rules say unless of a special ability they can only attack once per turn!" Legs said a bit shaken
"Yeah which means she can't take them all out boss!" Louis said while Neo chuckles through in concern.
"and I won't have to once a play Domino Effect!" Blaze said playing a spell card
The Duel Turtorial for the spell plays "With the spell card Domino Effect, for every card on the field you send to the graveyard one of your opponents monsters is destroyed"
"Oh darn it! I was so far ahead too" Roman said disappointed in this turnaround.
"Junk Warrior! Send his Chainsaw Insect to the scrapeheap!" Blaze commanded and her monster obays zooming to the Chainsaw Insect and punches it shocking Roman as his lifepoints go down to 2400 and he growls a bit "and now..." Roman shocked turns to Blaze "By sending two cards to the graveyard, Domino Effect activates" She sends Scrap Iron Scarecrow and Fighting Sprit to the Graveyard. Blaze looks at Roman and said "You bugs are about to fall down"
Chainsaw Insect waddles backwards as Roman shocked watches as it falls sideways on Doom Dozer who in turn falls on Metal Armoured Bug and all explode. Shocking Roman's group as well at it.
"You and your three buddies came down here to intimidate us, threaten us and push us around." Blaze said looking at Roman "Well next time, you might want to think twice before messing with me or my friends, cause we will stand by each other through thick and thin"
"Yeah!" Ruby cheers and looks to Roman while saying "You tell that Station Square cast off he better mind his manners when he's down here because we won't stand for anymore of his bullying tatics!"
Roman growls angry at being talked to like this and Blaze said pointing "I will admit you fought a good duel, but my runner is staying put, just like you are, see with your Retribution Ant Lion spell card still in play..." Roman gasped in shock, he completely forgot that was still in play again "You take damage for each monster my Domino Effect took out."
Roman gets hit by the yellow beam reducing his life points to zero. The gang cheer with Bulkhead jumping making the ground shake a bit saying "Blaze won! She won!"
"Okay but calm down Bulkhead!" Miko said making him stop.
Roman falls to his knees, disappointed at his loss and said "I was so close to getting that runner...to finally getting out of here"
"I will say you did have me on the ropes for a bit there and I wasn't too sure how I was going to get out of it" Blaze said apporching Roman while giving him some compliments and advice which surprised her friends "But an old friend once told me that when your back is against the wall and it feels like there is no out, So long as you trust in the power of your deck, you can find your way out of any situation."
We go back to the flashback a few years about with Predaking standing over Blaze as he says "Blaze, you need to learn to realie on your whole deck, don't you see you could have won and beaten me to today if you only believed in the strength of ever card you duel with." He pounds his chest with one arm finishing with "Believe and you will feel there power"
We go back to the present with Blaze doing a similar motion Predaking did as she said "That day, a very valuable lesson was taught to me. A lesson I will never forget and it is the belief that I have in the power of my cards, that gave me to win our duel."
Roman was surprised by this but smiles and sorts his hat and said "Wow, I really did think that Runner was mine." Neo and Louie help Roman up and Legs gives him his cane back. Roman looks to Blaze and said "Blaze, maybe me and you can be friends eventually, however our next duel should be topside"
Blaze smiles and then said with a sweatdrop "Sure just...no bugs please"
Everyone laughs and Roman said "I will see if I can scrounge a bug free deck for our rematch" He then looks to Blaze's friends "Listen I am sorry for the trouble we caused you, just be hard adjusting to life here"
"It's no problem, but you will have to make it up to us." Ruby said to him
"Of course, we will tomorrow and don't worry me and the guys will keep quiet on what we heard" Roman said
"Yeah, we will keep tight lipped on it" Legs said while Neo nods in agreement
"Yeah but good luck with it" Louis said to them
"Thanks" Blaze said with a nod.
Roman nods as well "As a show of good faith, allow Louis to treat you to some of his special spaghetti" Everyone was happy for it and goes to help set it up a cooking area.
"You think we can trust him?" Miko asked concerned as she watches
"Not sure, but Blaze appears to trust his word, got to count at least" Nefarious said and Miko nods in agreement.
We cut to late at night at Predaking's aparment where he is riding his runner on his personal track while Toffee nods, a bit later Toffee said on Predaking's comm "Predaking..." Predaking stops his runner by Toffee and removes his helmet and looks to the moon while the lizardman approaches and said "Congratulations, you dueled well tonight."
"and Blaze?" Predaking asked not breaking his gaze "Are things going according to plan?"
Toffee nods and said "Yes, Republic Security has informed me we will have nothing to worry about."
We come back to Sol with Blaze looking up at the moon while the others were having dinner and she thinks 'Look out Predaking, I am coming to take back what is mine.'
