Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Fanmake Episode 5 Pt 2
We come back to the Turbo duel where so far Blaze was in front while Predaking behind him waiting for the cat's turn
"What are you waiting for Blaze?" Predaking asked smugly "You are aware it's your turn, right? It's been two laps and you haven't made a move, why is that? Thinking of forfeiting this duel?"
"Not a chance!" Blaze said and drew her card "I summon Sonic Chick in defence mode!" Indeed, the pink chicken monster is summoned
The Dual Tutorial plays and says "When Sonic Chick battles an opponent's monster that has 1900 or more attack points. It cannot be destroyed."
"Just like back at school, you waste all your time hanging out with chickens" Predaking mocks
"Well at least I can take comfort knowing this chicken isn't going to double cross his best friend, then scurry away in the middle of the night" Blaze shot back at him "In fact, this chicken is sticking around for the long haul" She the plays a face down card "Now I place one card facedown, your turn"
Predaking smirks under his face plate and speed up to be alongside Blaze's runner and said "Let me ask you something Blaze, how do you think our dual here is going to end? Let's play pretend and say you have a chance of out-dualling me, and let's say you by some stroke of luck you manage to win, then what are you going to do? I guess you haven't thought this revenge fantasy through, have you?"
As their speed counters go to six and Predaking draws his card he continues "Well, let me tell you what is going to happen, you are going to lose this dual and then I'm going press a small button on my runner. At which point an entire security will arrest you and ship you off to Irongate! So much for revenge and while we're on the subject of losing, Red Dragon Archfiend attack Sonic Chick!"
His signature monster obeys and attempts to destroy it but given it's attack points exceed are above 1900 it doesn't destroy Sonic Chick, but Preadking smirking said "Too bad old friend, your little chicken's special ability will be trumped by the power of my Red Dragon Archfiend. After all, remember, it can wipe the field clean of all monsters you have in defence mode. I already told you Blaze; you need to get aggressive. For example…"
Red Dragon's special ability kicks in and Sonic Chuck gets engulfed in a ring of fire but when it clears Sonic Chick was still there and Preadking grows in confused annoyance
At Republic Security HQ the three watching were shocked and confused.
"What the heck happened?" Deviot asked confused "That chicken was supposed to be fried"
Back at the field Predaking said "You always thinking, aren't you Blaze?"
"It is what I do best" Blaze said, "I am just shocked you didn't recall this classic move back when just dualled for fun" She then play her face down trap which showed a hand pressing a detonator and explosions on the background
"Oh yeah, your Remote Revenge trap card! I slipped my mind you had that" Predaking said now getting what happened
"It seems you forgot about a lot of things Predaking, so why don't I refresh your memory on what this trap can do" Blaze said serious "First as you saw it deflects your attack, but that is just the beginning, once it does that it destroys every monster on your field in attack mode and if I recall aren't both your dragons in attack mode? So, how's that for getting aggressive?"
Indeed, the attack that hit Sonic Chick bounces back towards Predaking's monsters. Predaking watching and smiling under his face plate said "You seem to have a thing with revenge, don't you? Too bad for you then just like your attempt to get revenge on me, this attack is going to fail horribly. Cause Stardust Dragon is taking one for the team" and as he said this Stardust moves in and intercepts the attack
"Afterall, that is one of Stardust's special abilities, if you activate a card that can destroy all my monsters Stardust Dragon can save all the others by sacrificing itself, so how does it feel knowing you destroyed your favourite beast?" Predaking said
After the attack ends Stardust Dragon begins to fade away into particles of yellow stars, Predaking said watching "So much for Stardust Dragon, but I guess it had to go down like that in order for Red Dragon to stay on the field." He then smiles realizing and said "Hey, doesn't this remind you of another situation Blaze? Think about it, this is like how I had to step on you in order to escape Sol"
Blaze looks back as Stardst continues to fade away, it does remind her and not in a good way, but she remains calm and focus on winning this dual.
Back at Republic Security, Toffee, Leonie and Deviot keep watching
"Predaking appears to be toying with this stray" Deviot said thinking "I do love his playing style"
Toffee however remains quiet and keeps on watching waiting for what he hopes to happen.
Back at the Turbo Dual Predaking continues his turn saying "and now I place two cards face down, and with that done I think I will bring back my Stardust Dragon so you can have another peep at it for old times sake" Indeed Stardust comes back as he said "Now take a long hard look Blaze, because once this dual is done you'll never see it again!"
Blaze growls once Stardust was back and Predaking mocks saying "Maybe you'll get another chance to destroy the very beast you're trying to win back from me. With that Blaze, with friends like you who needs enemies? And with both dragons back on my field it looks as if this battle of ours has come full circle, hasn't it?"
Blaze gives a small smile and says, "Actually, not quite Predaking" Predaking's smirk turns to confusion "I activate my trap card! Harmonia Mirror" The card had a woman with a giant mirror which comes out of the card and the mirror reflects Stardust which shocks and surprises Predaking
"Check it out, because you summoned Stardust Dragon to your field, using a method other then the usual Synchro Summon, I can use the power of Harmonia Mirror to get Stardust to fight on my side instead" Blaze explained and then said as Stardust is transferred over "Welcome back old friend."
Predaking annoyed said "That's no big deal, like I said earlier I don't need it. I was only using it to try and make this dual more interesting"
"Well, you succeed Predaking" Blaze told him and adds "and now I'm going to burn things up, with my Stardust Dragon!" and with that Stardust appears on her side of the field
"Not bad Blaze, maybe you have learned a thing or two during our time in Sol" Predaking said nodding "So now we have Red Dragon Archfiend versus Stardust Dragon in a fight to the finish" Both dragons look at each other and roar.
As the duel continues Blaze loses a bit of control on her Runner maintains it as Predaking said "Looks like we finally get a chance to see whose dragon is mightier Blaze."
"And you'll finally get the chance to see the dualist I've become" Blaze told him "Remember that talk, you gave me after you beat me in our last dual?"
Predaking growls as he does remember
We flash back to that time
"Did she just lose?" Ruby asked concerned
"She did Ruby, and do you know why our friend lost?" Predaking said as he moves to stand over the purple cat who looks up at him angry as he answered his own question "It's because her deck has no balance and without balance one can't be a complete dualist. But you are already aware of that aren't you Blaze?"
Blaze had no words as she looks up at the Predacon.
We come back to the present
"Well, I didn't want to admit it but you were right that day" Blaze told him honestly "Those words hurt, but they taught me a valuable lesson"
"Oh, really Blaze, and what did they teach you?" Predaking asked her
"That in order to be the best I can be, I have to believe in the power of every card in my deck" Blaze told him "and ever since that day I thought about that dual we had over and over again, trying to implement new strategies and combinations I never thought were possible."
"Well Blaze I am intrigued but actions speak louder then words, so let's just see what that deck of yours is capable of" Predaking said
"You got it Predaking and with Stardust Dragon on my field the skies the limit" Blaze said and Stardust roars in response at Red Dragon who roars back.
Back at Republic Security HQ, Leonie and Deviot look on in surprise while Toffee remained neutral
"This Solian, doesn't know when to quit, does she?" Deviot said in disbelief, he then gives a smirking look at said "Well, perhaps I should send a security team to end this for her mister Tof…" Toffee raises his hand to stop him on that thought train. Deviot then gives an intrigued look.
Back at the dual, Predaking had processed what Blaze said and then begins laughing and said "Let me see if I got this right, now that you got Stardust on your side you actually think you have a chance at beating me? Well, you don't, I'm the best, you'll never defeat me no matter how many Stardust Dragons you have on your field, understand? Now bring it on!"
They then proceed to continue the dual, Blaze draws a card saying "I have the green light" She sees she drew a spell card of a pilot looking up at three jets in the sky, she then looks and sees Predaking riding beside her. "And I activate, my speed spell Silver Contrails!" She plays the card she drew
The Dual Tutorial plays saying "Silver Contrails is a speed spell that gives one wind attribute monster on your field 1000 additional attack points"
Back at the dual Stardust is empowered having a white aura around as Blaze explains "Now, because Stardust Dragon is a wind attribute monster, he gets a power boost" Indeed Stardusts attack goes up to 3500 "It's time our beasts tussled, Stardust ice his Red Dragon Archfiend! Go Cosmic Flair!"
Stardust proceeds to attack but when it hit both her and Predaking felt a pain in their right arms. Blaze confused asked "What's going on? Why is my arm hurting? What is this?!"
Meanwhile at the Republic Security HQ in the Ener-D reactor, it was starting to go crazy and spark dangerously while the scientists there including Doofenshmirtz watch on in surprise
"Amazing! Incredible! Fantastic!" Heinz said in amazing and worry "If what I think is happening, I am sure to get a raise for it!"
Back at the dual Stardusts attack ends but Red Dragon wasn't destroyed, much to Blaze's surprise
Predaking smirking said, "Sorry Blaze, better luck next time" After he said that Sonic Chick suddenly bursts into particles destroyed
"What happened to Sonic Chick?" Blaze asked really confused
"My Synchro Deflector trap card happened!" Predaking answered simply and explained "With this trap card I can deflect an attack against a synchro monster and then use the energy to vaporise the monster on your field the lowest attack points" Blaze growls in annoyance she was close then "and now that you've attacked, the effect of your Silver Contrails speed spell wears off which means your Stardust Dragon loses it's precious power boost"
Indeed, Blaze sees on her visor Stardust going back to 2500 and loses it glowing aura, Blaze however said "But it's still my turn Predaking and I'm far from done, so for my next move, from my hand I summon Ghost Gardna in defence mode!" She summons a white, red ghost monster with blue highlights and green eyes on its huge hands and has 1900 defence points
"Trying to protect little dragon, are you?" Predaking said aware on what this monster can do.
"I place two cards face down, it your turn Predaking" Blaze said finishing her turn but then the pain in her right arm returned and she groans a bit in pain what was this pain all about, she never experienced this dualling before.
