Chapter 1 – Arriving on Namek.

In my spaceship flying towards Namek, I stand next to my hover chair with my eyes closed, trying to sense the energy signatures within the ship. I am in my private chambers inside my spaceship, and I would be looking out the window, if I didn't have my eyes closed. On my hovering throne sits an almost empty glass with only the dregs remaining.

Normally, I would have been freaking out about everything that has happened. However, I am completely calm. This is because luckily (or perhaps not) when R.O.B. put me here I gained not just Frieza's body, but his memories and his personality as well.

It's not like the fictions you read where the main character has to spend time figuring everything out. It was like Frieza's whole life up until that moment was concatenated onto my own. Everything he did, every decision he made, it is like it happened to me, which is annoying, since he had already lived a few hundred years by this time, which is much longer than I had lived as a human.

Frankly, he was not as evil as one might think; he was just bored out of his mind, and not really caring about people so much weaker than himself. He is not evil to be evil, but instead evil to be amused.

It has been a few hours since I have gained this body, and I am only slightly annoyed at losing my height as a human, I used to be taller than most. However, I pushed the annoyance aside; I don't want to turn into my father, King Cold.

The very first thing I did was drain a glass of wine that Frieza, the previous Frieza anyway, had been savoring in one gulp, only to realize that I can't get drunk anymore. I no longer need to eat, drink, or breathe. I do not need to sleep or even go to the restroom. However, I can do it for pleasure, except for the going to the restroom bit; I can't ever do that apparently.

Wait, if I can eat and drink, why can't I poop? What am I, Kim Jong-un? That is seriously weird.

The second thing I did was be relieved that Frost Demons have all the normal male equipment and that they are just wearing bio-armor in their true form. It turns out that without the armor all Frost Demons are actually completely white (like paper), except for their eyes, just like you would expect from a race that evolved on a ball of ice.

My bio-armor contains a lot of purple on it due to it being one of my favorite colors; also, it is a sign of royalty, due to me being a prince. However, if I ever, for some reason, decided to renounce my lineage and remove myself from the Cold Royal family, I would most likely go blue instead.

And yes, Cold is my last name; I am literally named Frieza Cold or perhaps Cold Freeza, we don't use English anyway so who knows if my name has an I in it or not. My name is a play on the words, freezing cold. Well it's not all bad, at least I'm not Cooler Cold, like my brother whose name is a wordplay on an Ice Box, or Cold Cooler if you will. Even worse, I could have been named Cooler Light. I shudder at the thought. Or is my name actually a play on a refrigerator freezer? I block the thought from my mind, my name is definitely based on freezing cold.

The third thing I did was realize that being able to sense energy would be really useful in fight as well as just life in general and that I should learn it right now, since we are a few hours away from planet Namek.

Now, Frieza had never really trained at all in his life. He was already so much more powerful than everyone he never really saw any point in training to become stronger. He had however, spent a lot of time learning how to do things with the energy he already had, mostly due to boredom. He could use his energy in hundreds of different mostly useless but interesting ways as well as a few dozen highly useful ways.

And so, since I remember Vegeta learning how to sense energy in like one second, after he learned it was possible. I thought that I could acquire the same technique in one fourth of a second. Two hours later, I am still trying different things.

Damn it, why is this so difficult?

Maybe, it is because I have so much more energy than everyone else on my ship. It might be like trying to find a cup of water in the middle of the ocean. Or I could just not be doing it right. They never did explain how it worked on the show.

...

This is annoying.

My spaceship would soon be arriving and being able to sense energy would be extremely useful, since I think we are only going to be ahead of Vegeta, Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan for a little while, hopefully, at least a couple of days.

I try to condense my energy, but I have a hard time controlling it, even in this form. I can't condense it; it is like trying to make water use up less space by pushing at it.

Can I keep my energy from leaking out like Zetsu in Hunter X Hunter? That is probably more effective for me anyway.

None shall escape me. I pull it all within myself.

I still can't sense any energy but my own and I have no idea if that made me invisible to scaning or not.

For now, it does not matter; I don't have the time. I will just have to go as I am and learn it later.

I let go of my power, holding it in is uncomfortable. I will likely not need to hide my power anyway while on Namek.

Soon the door to my private room opens and Zarbon walks in.

Zarbon is the second in command of my galactic empire of almost 500 planets. He is much stronger than most in the galaxy, but that is not why he is placed so highly within my organization. He is my most competent subordinate. This is not due to his power, but due to his intelligence and cunning. He manages my empire, deals with diplomacy, handles the most important assignments, directly advises me on all matters, and deals with hundreds of other problems before I even know of them. Although he is vain and values beauty and his physical appearance above all else, he is loyal to me and his vanity in no way hinders him.

"Lord Frieza, we are about to enter orbit around planet Namek." He informs me.

"Zarbon, when we get there, I want you to keep the ship in orbit and scan for the strongest energy on the planet. I will to go down to the planet by myself." I say with a faint smirk. I do not turn to look at him. In fact, I did not move at all.

"Ah, of course, Lord Frieza." He seems to be surprised, but does not question it.

"Bring me our best scouter, and when I am on the planet I want you to monitor any spaceship activity. Notify me concerning all movement. If a ship is leaving destroy their engines, but if they are landing don't bother them, I will handle it myself." I command.

"Understood, Lord Frieza." He acknowledges.

I hope that the ship scanners can find Nail, so I can skip the rest of the elders and go straight for Guru's house. However, it might not be that easy, I seem to remember that Nameks normally go around with lowered energy.

I go back to trying to sense the other energy signatures on my ship.

Damn it!

Without thinking, I am holding a red ball of energy in my hand, on the edge of shooting it randomly. I catch myself before I blow up a wall of my ship in anger or worse breach the hull. This is seriously frustrating. I let go of my energy and take a deep breath to calm myself.

That damn monkey Vegeta, how did he get it so fast? My hand tightens in anger.

Ah, forget it.

I get in my hover pod and hover to the bridge, because why walk when you own a hover throne and no one else does.

"Lord Frieza, here is the scouter you wanted. It is my own personal scouter, the best on the ship. We are currently scanning the planet." Dodoria says proudly.

Dodoria is my third in command. He is weaker and less competent than Zarbon, but he is stronger and smarter than most. He frequently handles away missions since often times Zarbon cannot be spared. It is extremely difficult to find competent subordinates like Zarbon and Dodoria who are loyal, smart, and strong. Strong people in the galaxy usually never manage to graduate kindergarten, are seriously disloyal, or will die before working for me.

I silently put the scouter on, I am still angry about not being able to sense energy. However, I tell myself that even if I learned how to sense Ki, I would still keep a scouter anyway to keep in contact with my subordinates or use its other useful features.

"Send me the coordinates of the strongest signature you currently have. I am going to go down. Stay here and report to me if anyone arrives or attempts to leave. Do not come down to the planet. And do not let anyone escape." I already told Zarbon this, but I repeated myself for the rest of the crew.

I hover to the airlock, but leave my hover pod there. I am going to do this quickly. My hover pod may be really cool, but, even in this form, I am much faster than it is.

Once outside the ship, in space, I marvel at the beauty of it for a moment with the stars as a backdrop for the green planet Namek. Then, I power up causing my energy to flare. However, just before I fly off, I notice something. Maybe it is because I had just spent the last few hours trying to sense energy, but when I powered up I sensed some of my own energy bouncing back towards me.

Ah!

I can't believe that I was so stupid!

I spent all that time trying to feel other people's energy when all I needed to do was sense my own energy! I quickly power down and close my eyes.

Yes.

Yes!

That's it!

Unless you are actively holding your energy in, your energy naturally escapes and larger amounts escape when you are powering up or a charging an attack. The scouter detects this energy and gives a number based on that, which is also why it appears goes up when you charge an attack. Your energy is not actually going up but the scouter reads that it that way, since more energy is escaping.

However, sensing the energy yourself uses a completely different method. It is a red herring to say that you are sensing someone's energy. In fact, you cannot sense any energy but your own. You are sensing your own naturally escaping energy bouncing off of an energy source and coming back to you like radar does. Higher energy levels bounce your energy back harder. So, it is easy to tell when someone's stronger or weaker that you are, but it is hard to say exactly how much stronger or weaker they are.

Once you know the trick, it is so simple.

"HAHAHAHAHA." I laugh.

It is so easy; I can't believe I spent hours on this.

But wait, if the scouters can detect energy that way, why can't I detect it that way too? I frown in contemplation.

Well, I guess it does not matter; at least I have a way of sensing energy now.

I power back up and blast off towards the coordinates listed on the scouter with a grin.

Hum… My energy would bounce off of someone even if they are holding their energy in. Holding the energy would probably keep a scouter from finding you, but not this Ki radar sense. The only way to do that would be to completely absorb or disrupt all the energy that is bouncing off you, like a stealth fighter. But, right now, I do not know exactly how you would do that. However, I know that it is possible to at least make it harder to be found, Krillin did it often enough and he's Krillin. Although, maybe I am sensing energy differently than they do.

All this thinking is distracting me from the awesome fact that I am flying while in outer space without any kind of space suit or spaceship, and that I am about to enter the atmosphere.

Frankly, this is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me.

I might even praise R.O.B.

I shake my head a little. Nah, he's still an asshole.

I flare my energy to shield myself from the burning air friction while I slow down to speeds that I can keep up in atmosphere. Everyone emits more energy when flying fast for this reason. However, this makes it easier to be detected by scouters. Or I guess they could be doing it because they don't have full control of their energy.

I touch down smoothly and soundlessly.

I love being a Frost Demon.

I look around and see green.

Green everywhere.

Every island is green from the grass growing everywhere, the few trees have green leaves and even green tree trunks, hell even the water is green from too much algae (I hope that is the reason). The people too, I suppose.

This might well be the greenest planet in the entire Galaxy.

Well, I guess I shouldn't complain. Most would say that the Frost Demon's home planet is worse. Although, I personally find the ice planet beautiful.

The Frost Demon's home planet has white everywhere. It is so cold there that one would never expect any life to evolve there. The planet's atmosphere would be lethal to most races due to it never getting warmer than around 40 Kelvin and it has very few forms of life other than us. It has no water, unless you count the ice, but it does have beautiful rivers of liquid nitrogen. It is really no wonder that we evolved into not needing any of the things most races need to survive.

I click on the scouter's communications.

"Zarbon, Dodoria, are you there?" I say into the scouter.

"Yes, Lord Frieza, I am here." Zarbon's snobbish voice answers.

"Zarbon, have you finished scanning the planet yet?" I ask.

"We have finished scanning the planet and you currently have the highest energy signature's coordinates. We will continue monitoring and report any updates to you." He reports to me.

"Good work, Zarbon." I approve and give a small nod, which he can't see.

I power up again and start heading towards the coordinates. While I do so, I try to use my new Ki radar sense to scan for strong energy readings. However, it will be hit or miss until I get used to it.

Chapter 2 – Child's Play

'So, once I get the dragon balls, what am I going to wish for?' I muse while flying towards the coordinates on my scouter, leaving a small energy contrail behind me.

Unlike the Earth dragon balls, the Namekian ones give three wishes. Wish number one is obviously immortality because if you get a wish granting device you always ask for that first, assuming unlimited wishes is off the table and the immortality given is not worse than death. However, the question is what exactly should wish two and three be.

Maybe I should wish for a cool ability, like Kaioken or Instant Transmission. Or maybe new more powerful forms. Or maybe the knowledge to make cool tech. Or maybe even magical abilities. There are just too many good options to choose from, assuming that there are no problems with those wishes.

However, I can think about my wishes later, right now, the most important thing is getting my wishes in the first place. I don't speak Namekian, so I will have to either learn it myself or trust a Namek to make my wishes for me. Trusting a Namek would be really stupid, because if I was him I would just wish for 'the bad guy' to be teleported extremely far away, possibly into a dangerous situation on the other side of the universe. Or if the dragon can't grant that, I would wish for all 'the good guys' to be transported to safety.

I don't think that the dragon balls have the power to do anything to beings stronger than the dragon ball's owner unless the stronger being desired it. I seem to remember the Earthling's wishing for Goku to be alive and the dragon telling them that he does not want to be alive or something like that or maybe it was to transport him.

So, I am going to have to learn Namekian. That is the only solution.

But how am I going to do that?

I see a Namekian village ahead, right at the coordinates. Well, at least their buildings are not green as well; they are a nice white color. The buildings are the galactic normal pod type shape except with horns in weird places. Maybe they just like the look of horns. Although, the horns make the buildings look like giant ticks sucking on the life blood of the planet. Well, all aliens have a few weird tastes.

I land in the middle of the village. This is definitely not Guru's house. Although, I guess that makes sense, since I normally go straight to the strongest power reading on the planet anyway. So this village is, most likely, the village where I get my first dragon ball in the show.

There are a few old Nameks, covered in wrinkles, several adult Namekian, and a few children. I seem to remember from the show that they are all brothers to each other since Guru is the father all of them or something like that. Not that that matters of course.

All of them are freaked out by my arrival. Can they sense my great power? Or, do they have some sort of bullshit evil sense? I haven't even done anything yet.

"Hello, I am the Emperor Frieza. I would like to speak to the leader of Namek." I announce to them.

Hopefully, they will not want to deal with me and just send my straight to Guru and Nail. Although, saying take me to your leader is a little cliché. I can also take the dragon ball as I leave. If I remember correctly the Nameks don't hide their dragon balls, they just have them in a place of prominence in the high elder's house.

"Y-you, what do you want?" An old Namekian stammers out, he looks to be the oldest one here, and he also seems fatter than the others, though nothing like Guru. Do Nameks start to get fat as they get old? That didn't seem to happen to Kami though. The Elder has a child hiding behind his leg.

Geez, why are they so hostile? I already said what I want, unless you count me wanting their dragon ball as well.

"I already told you, I would like to speak to the leader of Namek." I repeat.

"Leave us! We'll never tell you were Guru is!" He roars.

I hate unreasonable people. I point my finger at the child hiding poorly behind him, and curl my right index finger in a beckoning motion using my telekinetic powers to pull him into my grasp.

"You will tell me where Guru is. Not only that, but you will give me your dragon ball!" I proclaim while holding the child by the collar of his robe.

Every Namekian present loses their composure due to my mentioning the dragon balls and seizing the child. Sweat forms on their foreheads in worry.

I am seriously considering just killing them all and taking the dragon ball. I know you don't kill a goose that lays golden eggs, but you may kill one that can lay golden eggs but doesn't on the off chance that an egg is still inside of it.

Also, if I don't kill them they may run off and tell the other villages that I am after the dragon balls and actually hide them. Although, that would be useless, since a dragon radar will be coming here in a few days anyway. It would be child's play to take the radar from Bulma.

Somehow, these Nameks instantly know that I am bad news for them, so tricking them into granting my wishes is off the table. Now, I am going to have to force them to do what I want.

Oh well, this way can be interesting too.

"Fine! I will get the dragon ball, just put him down!" The old Namek grudges out.

I tighten my grasp.

"I will put him down once you give me the dragon ball and tell me where Guru is." I promise.

"Fine!" The old Namek turns around and walks into the central building.

While he does that I look down at the child in contemplation.

I remember Goku and Guru being able see another person's memories. Is it possible to learn the Namekian language that way? Can I just take the information instead of needing the person to clear their mind?

It should not be too hard; I am already used to taking what I need.

The old Namek comes out of the building with the dragon ball. I motion with my left hand to telekinetically grab it from him and have it float behind me. It is possible to fight off telekinetic powers, but they cannot, since I am far stronger than they are, even though this form also divides these powers.

The old Namek grits his teeth, "Guru is that way! Now, let him go!" He points out towards the horizon.

"Of course, but first things first." I say with a faint smile.

I put my left hand on top of the child's head and attempt to seize his memories. In order to learn the Namekian language as well as where all the other villages are.

It turns out that being frightened out of your mind and clearing your mind are highly similar.

I extract the information that I desire from the child, who is named Vuvai. He does not know exactly where all the other villages are, but he knows where Guru is and he is not in the direction that the old Namek, named Balalai, pointed toward.

I believe that I got most of the language, but it is much different than just taking the information I desire. I would have to practice it a lot in order to speak it fluently. Not that I need to speak it fluently, all I need to know is how to say my wishes.

"Ah ah, Balalai, trying to trick me was not a smart move." I wave my finger back and forth in admonishment while wearing a faint smile. The Nameks are shocked that I know his name. They now know that I stole Vuvai's memories.

I let the child go.

"I always fulfill my promises, Balalai."

Balalai smiles grimly when I release Vuvai.

"And, I always pay back deceit." I point my finger at Balalai, a red glow at the end of it.

"Death Beam." I grin cruelly.

My death beam goes right through Balalai's heart.

He still stands for a second bleeding his purple blood from the hole in his chest. Then, he gives a single bloody cough before collapsing in a heap, dead before reaching the ground.

Chapter 3 – Potentially gaining a competent underling.

To say that the remaining Nameks took Balalai's death well would be a lie.

There were numerous yells of "Elder!" and the gritting of teeth in hatred and then they started throwing energy blasts at me. Some even skipped the yelling and such and went directly to blasting. The children ran behind the buildings to hide and stuck their heads out around the corners to see the fight, not that it should be called that.

The great amount of dust from the blasts formed a miniature cloud, obscuring me from their view, as they continued to throw them until the Namekians were completely exhausted. They were panting and sweating due to the exertion of using so much of their energy.

They were quiet and serious for a while after that but then started grinning and chuckling tiredly after they saw no movement within the cloud of dust. Some of the poorly hidden children even started to cheer.

However, I stood within the smoke completely unharmed. They didn't have the power to give me even a single scratch. They must not be very smart if they are already celebrating.

When a being so much stronger than you are comes to your village, you act polite and hope they go away. You do not act incredibly hostile. You definitely do not attack them and if you do attack them you make absolutely sure that they are dead before you celebrate their death.

They must not have any kind of energy or evil sensing if they cannot sense me still here completely unharmed.

Once the dust clears, they see me standing there with a condescending smile on my face having not moved a single muscle.

They started yelling.

"No!"

"Impossible!"

Etc.

I drink in their denial with a dark smirk.

"And the heroic Namekians overcame their fear and achieved their revenge upon the most evil tyrant in the universe… Is that what you really thought would happen?" I mock with a forbidding grin.

I raise my right hand again, slowly, but this time with all five of my fingers spread out, shining red with my power. So slowly do I raise my hand that the Namekians could have easily dodge what is about to come, however they do not because they are frozen in horror and despair.

This time I shoot five death beams killing six of them at once, one of the beams shoots straight through one of them to kill another. I don't bother to say my attack's name again; it can speak for itself now.

There are only two adult Nameks left, an old one, Tobra, and a younger one, Sarmo. I quickly raise my left hand to match my right and seize them both telekinetically with my hands out towards them in a gripping motion and pull the two Nameks close.

They struggle to free themselves, but it is of no use. Even with my power divided as it is in this form, I am too strong for them to even move an inch.

I have no use for Sarmo, the young one, not when I have so much more to gain from the elder, so I slowly clench my fist and use my telekinetic powers to incinerate him slowly from the inside out, while forcing Tobra watch the torture.

Sarmo bellows out in a deep voice, "AHHHH!!!!" as he is slowly reduced to ash.

I am not doing this just for fun or to be cruel, but to get the older Namek, Tobra, to drop his guard in horror long enough for me to take his memories.

It doesn't work. I am only able to get a few memories of village locations from him before he realizes what I am doing and fights back. I start to only get jumbles of useless memories, mostly of him drinking and talking idle about useless things, instead of the ones that I want.

I hit him on the head to knock him unconscious to get him to stop fighting me, but that just cuts off the memories altogether leaving nothing but blackness.

"Ah, useless." I say with a small frown. I am unlikely to gain any more information from him.

My eyes flash red briefly as I unleash my power. Tobra is instantly disintegrated and the wind blows his ashes away.

There is no need to torture him as well, unless you count watching his younger brother being slowly disintegrating as torture. Although, I guess he might, he may have even thought that it was worse than it happening to himself.

I really wanted to know why they were so hostile towards me from the very start and maybe even see if he knew any cool abilities I could learn from him, or possibly where the rest of the dragon balls are.

If they don't have ki or evil sense why were they so hostile to me immediately? Was it just that I look evil to them? That is discrimination! Just because I look evil, sound evil, and even act evilly does not make me evil! Although, from their point of view I guess I could be considered that.

If they can fight back this well against the memory stealing, I will need to come up with a new way to get them to not fight it in the future. One of the things that I want from this planet besides the dragon balls is the ability Guru has to unlock hidden potential. I could use that to not only boost my own power but also boost the power of my most loyal subordinates.

With an ability like that, strong competent people would flock to my army hoping to have their potential unlocked. It is extremely hard to find strong competent loyal subordinates, this is the bane of all rulers.

Learning everything about the dragon balls would be useful as well.

I now know what my second wish will be. Wishing to know everything that beings I kill knew, including gaining any interesting abilities they had, now that would be a good wish.

I could just wish to know everything, but that would either make life boring or it would cause my brain to explode like that villain from that terrible Indiana Jones movie that people try to pretend never happened.

I would have to make sure that it would not affect my personality though. I would hate to kill a lot useless beings and accidentally make myself useless, sort of like how Buu became less 'evil' because he absorbed a bunch of 'good guys'.

I would also have to make a clause about when I kill a whole planet. I would hate to have to know all of the useless information that a whole planet's population would know.

On second thought, maybe just an ability that lets me steal the information that I want from beings would be better. That way I won't get overload by too much information.

However, being able to just get whatever information I want at any time would be boring. It is much more fun seizing the information myself.

Darn, looks like I am back to the drawing board on my second wish.

I look thoughtfully at the children and hum in contemplation. Two are crying over their lost kin. Vuvai, the child I grabbed earlier, is just shut down in horror. A smarter one, named Kulele, is trying to fly away stealthily.

Most parents would do anything for their children, wouldn't they? Possibly even let their minds be read.

I have no need for the useless ones; I need a smart and lively one, however I do not kill the useless ones; there is no real point to do so at this time. I quickly fly after Kulele and grab him by his collar.

"I have need of you. Let's go see your father, Guru. Heh Heh." I say with a small smile. I am sure that to the child it looks cruel.

"Let me go!" He yells and tries to kick me in the chest. However, even though it would do nothing to me I do not let it connect.

Hum, well at least I know that he is not useless. He not only appears to be smart, but also have some fight in him. I might even induct him into my army after this. There is a high probability of him becoming a competent subordinate in the future.

I blast off towards Guru's place with Kulele struggling in my steel grip.

Chapter 4 – VS Nail and meeting Guru

Kulele sure had a lot of fight in him. He constantly struggled throughout the whole flight here kicking and screaming at me.

"Now, now, quite down Kulele. The adults need to talk now." I say with a smile as we approach Guru's house, which was on a giant pillar that stretched up into the sky. It says something about someone's ego when they live in a much larger building than anyone else atop a pillar that reaches up towards the heavens.

When Kulele sees where we are he actually quiets down and quits struggling. He's probably thinking that Guru or Nail will save him. How naive. He will just have to see how the real world is full of disappointment. How the adults he thinks are invincible are actually weak to will of an uncaring universe.

I land in front of the building.

"Hello in there. Is anyone home?" I call out mockingly, still holding Kulele by the collar.

A door on the side opens and Nail slowly walks out.

"Yes, I am here, what do you want?" He says calmly, but you can see that he is angry at me both due to my holding onto Kulele and the dragon ball floating behind me.

"Hello, I guess you could call me a tourist to your lovely little planet. As you can see, I picked up something interesting at the gift shop and I was told I just absolutely had to obtain all seven to collect them all. I was hoping you might have a matching piece, so I can be on my way to completing the whole set. Oh, and little Kulele here seems to have been lost, I am a kind person at heart, so I thought I would bring him to his parent. After making my wishes, I will be on my way." I quip.

"I am afraid you will have to leave here empty handed. You see, my piece holds a great emotional attachment to me, so I can't just give it away to tourists." Nail replies calmly, but with narrowing eyes.

"HA HA HA HA." I laugh, "You know, you are the first person to answer in such an amusing way in a long time. I thought Kulele here was the only amusing Namek, but you are amusing as well. I might even decide to spare you." I smirk and give the little Namekian in my grip a little shake when talking about him.

I then hoist Kulele up. "I was originally planning to induct Kulele here into my galactic army and have him trained up to become a competent subordinate. However, you might just be an even better fit for my army."

"You will not be taking him." Nail says shortly, no longer playing along with my banter. "Let him go."

"Ah, ah, ah." I wag my left index finger back and forth in front of him in reproach. "You forgot to say please."

"Please, let him go." He manages out through grit teeth. It is easy to see that his patience is at an end.

"Well, I guess you did ask nicely." I drop the kid. "Child, run off to your father now. I will be seeing him shortly." Kulele falls on his butt, but recovers quickly and runs inside.

At the mention of going to see Guru, Nail says, "Please do not meet with him. He is a very old man and you need him alive if you want to wish upon the dragon balls."

"Don't worry, I do not plan to kill him. He just has some information I want. I promise to leave him alive. After all, I still need that wish." I reassure him.

"Now, I can see you want to fight me rather badly and are near the end of your tether, but I am many, many times stronger than you are. Just to make things fair how about I fight you with my arms behind my back." I taunt folding my arms behind my back.

That seems to finally goad him into action and he goes straight for a kill shot to my neck.

His chop comes at me with incredible speed and power. However, to me it looks like it is moving in slow motion.

I see it coming slowly, but I let it connect. I am completely unfazed by the hit, in fact, I am betting that his hand hurts more than my neck right now. It also caused Nail to look like he was going to have a stroke from high blood pressure, a vein on his head was even visible.

"My, my, is that the best you can do? I might have to not use my legs either to make this fair." I offer him my ridicule.

Then, I float a foot off the ground and quickly spin to hit him lightly with my tail.

He goes flying off the giant pillar Guru's house is on and into a mountain nearby smashing into it and dealing incredible damage to it and himself.

I float there with my arms behind my back and my legs together unmoving for a moment before following him.

Down below, he manages to push the fallen rubble off of himself and get up before he vomits out purple blood. You can see a trail of blood on his head and down the left side of his mouth. Maybe that pumping vein finally burst from the pressure.

"Wow, oh my, that really looked like it hurt. Are you ok?" I taunt with a faint smile as I fly down to him and land in front of him staying in the same position as before. "Maybe you should lie down for a bit."

I use my telekinetic power to apply great force on top of him causing him to crash face down into the ground. I let him struggle to rise for a bit, but all it does is cause his body to make an indent in ground. Especially, under his hands and arms where he is trying to push up from.

"If you're not feeling good you should rest up. We will be leaving this planet soon and its just terrible to travel while feeling sick."

I pulse my power making a crater around his body and knocking him out.

"Well, that was fun; I guess it's time to see a Guru about my dragon balls, heh." I say to myself.

I fly back on top of the pillar Guru's house is on and walk inside the building's entrance.

I can see Kulele standing at the door with his head sticking out with horror on his face. Darn, and this one was the smart one. I would hate for him to become useless. Although, at least this would teach him not to trust someone blindly, especially his heroes.

"Do not worry, I left him alive. Now, let's go see your Papa." I tuck him underneath my arm. This is slightly comical, since he is almost as tall as I am in this form.

I enter the building and see Guru.

"Wow, I guess they just don't make Nameks like they use to, they aren't nearly this large anymore." I say with false amazement and raise my arms indicating his huge bulk.

"Heh, yes, I am a bit larger than most Nameks." Guru says with good humor, even when facing me after destroying a village, killing many of his sons, and easily defeating Nail.

I point toward the dragon ball above his head.

"I am here for the dragon ball and I would like to pick your brain about some things. Afterwards, I will leave you and Namek in peace."

"Oh, is that so. Well, you are certainly free to do so, I would be happy to oblige. Go right ahead." He says with a small chuckle.

I float up and rest my left hand on Guru's head with Kulele still tucked underneath my right arm.

I very quickly realized that it was a mistake to try to read Guru's mind when he pulls me into an intense mental battle.

Chapter 5 – Mental battle with Guru

Now the first thing you need to know about mental battles is that they are not nearly as interesting to see as real battles, unless you know what is really going on.

It looked like something like this.

"Hum!" I grunted with sweat accumulating on my forehead.

"HUM!!" Guru grunted with his own sweat accumulating on his forehead.

"HURMMM!!!" I grunted harder.

Next, you guessed it, he grunted again. "HUURRMMMMM!!!!!"

This went on for a few minutes.

To Kulele, who was watching us, the both of us looked like we were just grunting with sweat dripping down our foreheads and our eyes closed. In fact, if you didn't know what was really happening you might even think that we were trying to go to the restroom, but could not due to being extremely constipated.

I had very quickly given up on taking any of Guru's memories and spent all of my concentration trying to defend myself from his mental onslaught and escape from the fight. However, Guru would not let me go so easily.

Now if you know Frieza, or me now I guess, you might think that this is out of character for him, me. You would think that due to his great confidence in himself(arrogance) he would press on in the face of any opposition. However, you would be wrong. Not because you would be wrong about Frieza's confidence(arrogance), but due to Guru's extremely potent mental abilities.

I supposedly had all the advantages on my side. I was the one going into his mind and I was quickly only trying to escape and defend myself. Guru should have been on the back foot the whole time. He had to spend a lot of effort keeping my from disengaging as well as defend his own mind and attack mine. It is easily to see that in terms of mental battles he was far better at it than me.

I had not even taken a single step into his mind before I was pulled into it and attacked. I quickly lost my place in his mind. If was like diving into a pool of water but then getting confused about where up and down is and therefore having a hard time trying to surface, and getting freaked out due to loss of breath. All the while you are getting punched in the stomach repeatedly. Basically, it was not fun for me at all.

At the same time this was occurring, I had to defend my mind from Guru going through my own memories or even trying to tamper with my sense of self. I could not completely block both of these attacks and so I abandoned some of my memories to Guru similarly to how Tobra, the old Namek who I tried to mind read, did against me. However, instead of random useless memories that Tobra showed me, the numerous memories I shoved down Guru's throat was of me killing and torturing people that crossed me in the past. I especially gave him my memories of destroying planets. I finally managed to get away when I gave him a memory of destroying a planet that looked a lot like Namek.

Luckily, he never managed to get at my personality or any of my important memories. There were a lot of memories to distract him with. You would think by now that people would have learned to not cross me, but there is always someone dumb enough to try to be a hero.

I quickly jerked my hand away from his forehead and floated a few yards away, panting heavily.

My hand actually had a burn mark on the palm. I didn't even know that could happen. How could a mental battle cause burn marks on your hand? Guru was panting even more heavily than me, so hard in fact that he coughed and wheezed. He looked like a fat man that had just tried to run five miles and like he might pass out at any moment. Which is appropriate considering how fat he is.

"That… That was a bad move old man." I say between pants with a large frown on my face. I was so angry that if I was not so tired from that mental battle he would already be dead. Angry at him, but mostly at myself. I should have known better that to do that.

"Normally, I would kill you for that. But you don't kill the goose that lays the golden dragon balls just because it bites." I say after I recover and am no longer panting.

"Well… You can't blame an old man for trying." He replies between his own pants, he has still not recovered.

I laugh.

Damn, I think I am actually beginning to like this guy.

"You know what? I like you Guru. I think I will spare you and planet Namek even after getting my wishes." I declare. I don't think I have had this much fun in a long while, unless you count my human time, and if he doesn't play nice I could always kill him anyway.

"Thank you, that's kind of you." He seems to be recovering.

"Well, I always thought of myself as a kind person at heart." I say mockingly with a faint smile. I don't think anyone would believe that after seeing the memories that Guru just saw.

I fly up and grab the one star dragon ball above his head with my tail, making sure not to get close enough for him to get me into another battle. I don't dare use telekinesis while near him, who knows if that might just pull be back into another mental battle, and Kulele is still tucked under my arm, so I can't pick it up normally either.

"Now, I hope you don't mind me taking little Kulele out to play for a while. I have grown quite attached to him in this short time." I joke.

"Heh, as long as you bring him home before dark." He says with a chuckle.

Namek has three suns, it never gets dark on Namek.

I begin to chuckle with him.

"I am sure I can manage that." I agree.

As I leave, I pick up my first dragon ball, the two star ball, that I left outside when beating up Nail. I don't bother even looking off of Guru's pillar down at Nail, he will not be going anywhere for a while.

Kulele does not bother struggling anymore. He might be becoming resigned to this or he might just be becoming unlively and useless, which is the case will soon be seen.

I fly off towards the closet village that I know about, I got the information of this village's whereabouts from both the child and the elder, so it is likely to be correct. In any case, I keep my scouter looking for energy signatures as well as keep sensing with my new ability.

Chapter 6 – New Challenges

When I arrived at the next village ready to claim my next dragon ball, I noticed a great change from the first village I arrived at. In the middle of the village, a single elder Namek was standing alone, like he was waiting for me.

"Are you the Emperor Frieza?" he asks.

I am surprised by this Namek knowing my name and actually saying it politely instead of yelling at me to get lost or the ever common "You won't get anything from us, villain!"

"Yes, I am Emperor Frieza or Lord Frieza, as my men call me. It is a pleasure to meet someone with manners. How are you doing this fine day?" I reply.

"Grand Elder Guru told me you were coming."

"Oh, did he now? And just what did he say?" I forgot that Guru could use telepathy. I never bothered to learn it myself due to not ever needing it. Also, I never bothered to tell Guru or Nail my name. He must have gotten it from those memories he managed to get from me. There were a lot of people begging for their life in them.

"He said that you are free to take the dragon ball from any village you find if you wish. But, that's only if you don't think you can beat me in a challenge." He says with a smirk.

Damn that Guru, he only saw a few useless memories and he already knows I will not back down from a challenge like that, especially if it's amusing.

"Of course I accept you challenge, but before I do, it is only polite to introduce yourself first and what exactly is this challenge to be?"

"I am the Elder Sopra and I challenge you to beat me in a race around the entire world."

Heh, this Sopra must be trying to stall for as long as possible there is no reason to make a race that long.

"Ok, show me the dragon ball. The first to get back here gets it." I give him a faint smile and point toward the ground. There is no way I will wait for him to finish. He might decide to never finish the race to keep the dragon ball from me.

"Ok, follow me." He says.

Well, He gave in rather quickly. Maybe he didn't plan to take years to make it around the world. Or it could just be that he knows that if this starts taking too long I might just take the dragon ball or blow up his planet.

I let go of Kulele. He had been under my arm the whole time.

"It looks like I no longer have need of you. Maybe when you grow up you can come join my galactic army. Go on adventures, meet new intelligent life, and fight them to the death. What do you say little boy?" I give him my most pleasant smile.

He just looks at me flatly.

"Heh, that's what I like about you. See you around, I have a race to win."

After seeing the dragon ball, Sopra takes me outside and draws a line in the earth.

"We go on three." He says.

We stand behind the line; I have my two dragon balls floating behind me. There is no way I am dumb enough to let them out of my sight.

If I was the Nameks, I would immediately take them and ask the dragon to transport their whole planet minus me to a stable orbit around another star as far from me as possible.

When Sopra said three, I blasted off at my full speed causing him to fly backwards quite a distance. Sufficed to say I won much faster that Sopra expected me too. Little does he know that I can travel out in space without atmosphere to slow me down. Flying around the entire plant quickly is child's play for me. However, it still took time to do so.

This vein continued for the next two villages. However, their challenges were not physical challenges anymore, they might have learned their lesson.

The next village elder challenged me to make him laugh. Yes, just like King Kai does. He must have thought that I must not be funny with me being an evil galactic emperor. I won that one even faster than the race.

The last village I went to challenged me to shogi.

Shogi.

I have never even played shogi before. In either of my lives. I don't even know how the Nameks even knew of the game. However, I was always quite good at chess as a human and I think I'm even smarter now, so I quickly picked up the rules. I won on my fourth play, not because I was bad, but because the Elder was just that good at it. He was willing to give me as many tries to win as I wanted most likely because he knew that if he refused; I would just take the dragon ball from him by force.

Or maybe he just wanted to play shogi with someone. I have a feeling no one who knew him wanted to play with him anymore and I was just the first person willing to play against him, rather than him trying to stall me.

All in all, I was feeling pretty pleased with myself with getting my five dragon balls. I knew it was only a matter of time before I got all seven of the dragon balls and got my wishes. The challenges were fun and amusing and I thought I got along with that last elder after playing shogi with him so much.

However, even though the first two challenges were over quickly they still took time as well as the time it took for me to find the other villages on the planet, since the kid I stole memories from didn't know where they all were and I doubt I could steal the memories from these elders than keep meeting me. I had to rely on my scouter and my new sense to find them. Speaking of, I wonder where all the other Nameks are now? I have not seen or sensed anyone besides the three elders.

Of course, just when you are feeling pleased with yourself is when something goes wrong.

"Lord Frieza, do you read me?" Zarbon says from my scouter.

"Yes Zarbon, I am here. What is it?"

"We have picked up three ships that have arrived on the planet."

Wait three? I know the Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan and Vegeta arrive on the planet but who owns the third ship?

"Zarbon, did you get a good look at the ships design."

"No, we were not close enough to scan that clearly."

Hum. Who else arrived on Namek, I can't remember anyone else. I am pretty sure Goku didn't arrive until almost a week later. Oh well, whoever it is they can't be that important if I can't even remember them.

"Did you get the coordinates of where they landed? Send me an estimation if you didn't, I will find them." I tell him.

"Sending the coordinates now."

Chapter 7 – First Contact.

As I was flying towards the first coordinate, my scouter activated. It picked up Vegeta, Krillan, Gohan, and Cui. It told me the names of Vegeta and Cui due to them having their own scouters. However, Krillan's and Gohan's signature quickly disappeared.

Ah, I forgot about Cui. He has wanted to kill Vegeta for a long time, it is no wonder he followed him. I can't even remember how many times he has requested to kill Vegeta.

I turn on my communicator to speak with Cui.

"Cui, this is Frieza."

"What? My Lord?" Cui replies.

"I don't want anyone but me on this planet. Leave immediately."

"Lord Frieza, I am about to kill that traitorous Vegeta and-"

"Cui, this is an order! Leave now! I am coming to handle Vegeta personally."

"What!" I hear Vegeta in the background.

"Did you hear that Vegeta? Lord Frieza is coming here right now. For you!" Cui taunts Vegeta.

"Then, I have no time to play around." Vegeta says.

"AH!!!" Vegeta yells.

And then I hear an explosion and I lose the signal from both Cui's and Vegeta's scouters.

Those stupid old scouters, why do they always explode when they glitch?

Who even releases a device that explodes when an error occurs?

Soon after that Cui's power level disappeares abruptly and Vegeta's disappears gradually.

Damn it. There is no way I can find Vegeta quickly enough. I know he is going to find a dragon ball and hide it somewhere. There is no guarantee that he will hide it in the ocean next to the village he will destroy. I will have to find him and force it out of him, manage to get both of the remaining dragon balls before him, or go get the dragon radar from Bulma and the others. I know approximately where they are due to seeing Krillan's and Gohan's power level momentarily.

I set my scouter to continue looking for the remaining Namek villages, especially any near where Vegeta landed and I continue heading toward the last known position of Krillan and Gohan.

I quickly find them.

I fly down toward them and their spaceship.

"He's got the dragon balls."

"His- his power is immense, larger than anything I have ever felt."

"He's wearing the same kind of armor as the Saiyans, but he isn't Saiyan."

I hear them saying to each other.

"Hello, I am the Galactic Emperor Freiza. I guess you can call me the official welcoming committee to this lovely little planet." I say with a smile. "The fee to enter this world, or leave it, is one… dragon radar."

The three get freaked out by this.

"D-d-dragon radar. W-w-what's that?" Bulma stammers.

"Hah hah hah hah." I laugh. "If you are going to lie at least do it well, my dear."

I use an ability I created to use my telekinetic power to see what items she has. She has it in her pocket. So, I raise a finger and crock it towards me. The radar flies out of her pocket and into my hand. I click it on.

"Hum, this is an interesting device. How would you like to work for my science division? We could use nifty devices that don't explode when they glitch. I will give you as much funding and interesting tech to reverse engineer as you like."

"Really!" Bulma beams.

"Bulma, this guy, I don't know how to say it, but his energy feels evil." Krillin says.

"Hum, you can feel good and evil from energy? How does that even work?" I ask Krillin interested in this. I didn't even know good and evil were actually things and not just if he is nice to me, he is good and if he is bad to me, he is evil. I never felt anything that could signify good and evil in energy. Maybe he is sensing killing intent or something. Does killing a being leave a residue on your own energy? Or maybe some sort of psychic residue. This is an interesting line of thought.

"I don't know, I never felt it like this before." Krillin replies grimly.

"Well, I would not call myself evil, I always thought of myself as kind at heart."

Maybe, if I keep saying that someone will actually believe me, maybe Goku would. He always believed what anyone said.

They still haven't introduced themselves. Why do so few people have manners in this universe?

"Well as you can see, I am collecting the dragon balls for a wish. So, you can run on back to Earth." I make a shooing gesture.

"But we can't! We need them to wish our friends back to life." Bulma wines. Krillan and Gohan remain silent and serious. They probably feel my killing intent increase or maybe because I mentioned Earth by name.

"As you can see, I have started collecting them first. Don't you know it is rude to cut in line?" I say with a smirk.

"Also, Vegeta is around here somewhere, hiding his energy. I have no time for you; I still need to discipline my wayward monkey. He was never supposed to go to Earth or here for that matter."

I briefly consider killing them all right now. It is unlikely that they will hinder my plans, but there is still a chance that they will do so. And if there is a chance, no matter how small, I should eliminate the threat. However, on the other side of the coin, if Goku comes and learns that I killed his two best friends and his son he might just go Super Saiyan ahead of time. Then again, he might not, since I won't have killed them right in front of him.

Also, I might just need Gohan back on Earth to keep the androids, especially Cell from getting out into the galaxy as well as keeping Buu from coming back or getting off Earth. Although, he most likely would become even stronger by training with King Kai, instead of being stuck studying back home.

Or I can become the greatest hero of the Galaxy by going to Earth, right after my wish, and blowing it up, keeping both the androids or Buu from ever happening.

However, Dabura maybe on Earth somewhere and I think he is supposed to be as powerful as Cell. There is no way I am going to Earth if that is the case. Although, if he was actually there you would think that he would have stopped the androids in either timeline to stop them from interfering with the resurrection of Buu.

They most likely just left for another planet, since that didn't happen.

However, that would mean that Buu could appear anywhere in the galaxy and I would never know exactly where until it was too late.

Ugh, this is all way to complicated. I will never be able to figure out all the causes and effects to predict the future this way. I will just have to deal with it as it comes. But, I know two things at least the Galaxy would be better off if the Earth was destroyed and there is no way I will ever go there to do it, because that place is a death trap.

I turn around and leave for the other two dragon balls without killing them. Wishes first, then I can deal with killing them or not. For now, I will just have to hope that they don't ruin my plans in the future. However, if they get in my way I will make them regret it.

Chapter 8 – I guess you could call it VS Vegeta, but that would imply there was a fight.

I very quickly arrive at the closest Namekian village. This village was only a little distance away from the Earthlings.

I see another old Namek and no other Namekians just like the last three times. I fly right past the elder and into his house to grab the dragon ball there.

As I fly back out I call, "Sorry, but I have no time for any more games." And blast off toward the last village.

As I am flying to the last dragon ball, I feel something. Something that does not appear on my scouter, it is flying almost perpendicular to my path.

I quickly change directions, picking up my speed even more and zoom towards it.

All of a sudden, I see Vegeta quickly pick up speed and he shows up on my scouter.

I disappear and reappear right in front of him.

"Hello, Vegeta."

He goes completely pale.

I grab him by the neck and slam him into the island below before he can say or do anything. He coughs out blood. I let him go and put my foot lightly on the front of his chest keeping him pinned.

"So Vegeta, you must have the same travel agent as me. "Take a tour of the grand majesty of Namek, unspoiled by the pollution of industry. Relax on their tropical islands and untouched grassland. Make sure to make stops by the gift shops and collect a set of dragon balls, which can grant a wish for any occasion." He said."

I punctuate my remarking of the dragon balls by slightly pushing down on his chest causing him to cough out more blood.

Even though I am doing this Vegeta does not beg for his life. He just glares at me.

"You know Vegeta that is what I like most about you. Most people would curse you for your arrogance and pride. But those are the very reasons that I spared you and those other monkeys after I blew up your home planet."

"What!?" escapes him. Vegeta looks shocked.

"Heh heh heh, are you really surprise Vegeta, that I did it? I thought you always suspect me of that. Or are you just surprised that I am finally admitting to you that I did it?" I say with a cruel smile.

"You know, I never once told my men to hide what happened. Everyone knew that I blew the Saiyens all up. It is just that no one wanted to be the one to tell you Saiyans that it happened. Everyone weak knew that you would kill them out of hand with your violent tempers and so the one that was supposed to tell you said it was a freak meteor. Everyone stronger, including myself, just thought it was amusing when you three thought it was a meteor. You know about half of my Empire actually celebrates that day. As a national holiday, you could say. The only people that were liked less in the galaxy than me were the Saiyens."

I laugh at the face he makes at this knowledge.

"Why? Why did you kill them? We served you loyally!" He yells.

"Hah, served me loyally, you say. The only ones you Saiyans ever served were yourselves."

"Whenever called upon, you Saiyans destroyed far more than I told them to and when I didn't give them enough planets to destroy and only gave them the tasks requiring complete destruction they went to planets by themselves and destroyed them. Oh yes, I destroyed them and the Galexy at large let out a gasp of relief and joy at the fact that the locusts that were the Saiyans had been obliterated. I may even be hailed by some as the greatest hero of the galaxy." I laugh.

At that Vegeta, started to struggle even harder. Even powering up and trying to use his power against me, but it was of no use. He opened his mouth and yelled out a Ki stream towards me. I smacked it away easily.

I wrap my tail around his neck, lift him up, and punch him in the stomach, so that he would be too weak to fire any more blasts. Blood drips down his face. (Possibly with the tears of broken dreams mixed within)

I would kill him for his betrayal, but he is far too amusing and I never expected any loyalty from him in the first place. You can't betray someone that is expecting it from you; it would not be called betrayal in that case. In addition, he has always been competent, even more than most of my actually loyal men.

"Well Vegeta, I think it is just about time for me to go get my wish. Would you like to join me?"

With my tail hauling Vegeta and my six dragon balls floating behind in tow, I leave for the last village.

I get there quickly and see another old Namekian.

"Hello there, as you can see, I had to deal with an infestation of your planet. You know what they say, "You let even one angry monkey into your home and you have to deal with dung everywhere." So I am just going to go take that last dragon ball and go now."

I zip past him, take my last dragon ball, and fly away.

It is finally time to get my wish, but first I fly far away from any Namekians or Earthlings that may interfere with my wish, hauling Vegeta with me.

Hum, it looks like I won't actually fulfill my promise to Guru, I never did bring Kulele home. It's getting late, and it's just about to get dark.

Chapter 9 – Frieza's wishes.

I placed the seven dragon balls in the middle of one of the many islands of Namek, far away from any other power sources. Vegeta still hangs behind me with my tail wrapped around his neck.

"Vegeta, you came to Namek to find the dragon balls to wish for immortality, so you could throw yourself against me; getting stronger and stronger with each defeat until you were finally strong enough to come out victorious. However, you may not have realized it, but there were many flaws with that plan. Let's say you did get immortality, how do you know for certain that you would get stronger with every defeat? A Saiyan gets stronger every time they recuperate from close to death. However, if you had wished yourself immortal you would have never gotten close to death again. Therefore, you would have never gained enough power to defeat me. Your immortality would have just been the shackles to bind yourself in servitude to me forever and ever. Hahahahaha." I laugh at Vegeta who looks horrified at this thought.

"Let's say it did not do this and you were gaining power from every defeat. What would stop me from just imprisoning you indefinitely? Keeping you from ever getting the revenge you desire?"

Vegeta looks like he wants to say something to me, more like yell something at me, but he cannot due to my tail around his throat. However, he does struggle uselessly.

"What's that Vegeta? I can't hear you. You will have to speak up. Heh heh." I mock.

"Another thing you missed is that the dragon balls require a password to work. Not only that, but it is in Namekian. Even if you manage to get past that the dragon only grants wishes said in Namekian. So, you would have had to trust a Namek to grant you your wish to obtain immortality."

"You might think the same of me, but while everyone knows of my strength most people don't seem to know that I am actually a natural prodigy. I, in fact, already know Namekian."

"D-Dragon of D-Dreams c-come." I say tentatively in Namekian.

The dragon balls start pulsating. The sky flashes dark and light before eventually staying completely dark. An eerie wind picks up and blows across the islands causing the grass to wave.

After a few pulses, a golden power explodes out of the collected dragon balls and shoots into the sky.

The golden power then forms into a giant dragon.

"You, who have gathered the dragon balls and summoned me forth, speak and I shall grant you any three wishes within my power." He says in the common universal language.

"What?" Escapes me. "I thought you only spoke Namekian."

"I speak all languages, but wishes must be spoken in Namekian." He replies.

Ah, that is better for me. I was worried because I can barely say anything in Namek. Understand it; yes, but actually speak it, not really. Although, that does bring up an interesting thought. Can he speak all languages or is he actually speaking in all languages at once in some sort of Allspeak? The common universal language is my birth language, so I would not be able to tell just by listening. An interesting idea for another time.

"Vegeta, let's just clear up which of those two horrible mistakes you were about to commit."

"Mighty Porunga! Can you tell me of the nature of the immortality you grant?"

"As long as it is with my power, wishes work as their maker intends."

Huh, it looks like Vegeta's wish would have actually worked, that is not good for me. While I said I would just imprison him, there is still a chance that he would get free either by his own power or by being released. If that happens, there is a possibility, however slight, that he may get strong enough to actually defeat me. While Vegeta may destroy planets that I did not tell him to or even wanted destroyed he is still extremely efficient at destroy populaces that I want completely gone using only himself and the other two Saiyans. Before, I could see no way he could become a threat before I would see in coming and obliterate him. However, with this the chance for that has risen from zero to a small ammount.

"Another thing Vegeta, with you going on and on about your immortality you have missed all the other things you could have wished for and I am about to show you what you should do when you get a chance at wishes."

"Mighty Porunga! I wish to have the ability to grant wishes!"

"I w-wish that." I say in Namekian.

Vegeta looks aghast. I hope this works. I can't think of anything that would stop this from coming to pass, but if it doesn't I would look really bad.

"Your first wish shall now be granted." The dragon's eyes glow red and red aura forms around me.

"The first of your three wishes has been granted. Speak to me, your second wish."

"HAHAHAHA!!!" I laugh loudly and beam with delight.

Vegeta looks like his very world is crashing down around him.

With that wish, I instantly know everything about how my new ability to grant wishes work as well as how to use it, just like I intended.

The way the dragon's wishes work is that they could only be used upon people weaker than the guardian, but once they are applied, they work by using the dragon's own magical strength. This is only a fraction of the power the dragon god has, but while the dragon is not strong in terms of Ki and I could easily obliterate him, even that fraction of magical strength is much greater than my own power.

However, my new ability does not have a guardian or it might be more accurate to say that I am my own guardian. While my power is currently not as strong as even the Earth's dragon I can apply my power to far more people due to my strength being so much greater than much of the galaxy.

However, I quickly noticed a flaw. If I grant myself immortality, it would only work while I was still in existence.

While the dragons are connected to the dragon god and the wishes granted by them continue to work even after their destruction, I am not connected to anything, when I die all of my wishes that are currently affecting things stops after my death. This is true for all magic.

So in other words, if I was completely destroyed, I would not regenerate.

Therefore, I need to use something outside of myself to make myself immortal, luckily for me I still have two wishes left. But first, I have to take care of something. I glance over at Vegeta.

"Vegeta, you should be glad. It turns out; your wish might have worked back then." I say with a smile and temporarily take my scouter off.

That smile quickly turns into a frown. "It looks like you have just turned into a liability."

I flick him to the sky. "AHHH!" he screams.

My eyes glow red momentarily, wiping him from existence. I turn back toward the dragon while putting my scouter back on.

"Dragon, for my second wish. I wish for immortality!"

"I wish for that." I say in Namek again.

"Your second wish shall now be granted." The dragon's eyes glow red and a red light forms around me again. He does not seem to care that I obliterated Vegeta right in front of him.

"The second of your three wishes has been granted. Speak to me, your third and final wish."

Now, there are many forms of immortality I could have wished for. The most powerful of these is the immunity to age, disease and injury, physical and dimensional laws, abilities of all kinds including Ki and magic, fate and destiny, time and causality, paradox, logic and unlogic, death and any type of nonexistence, and even reality or the loss of reality itself. However, having the immunity to all of these things would just be no fun at all.

My favorite thing to do when a particularly strong person challenges me is to let them think that they might possibly win. Only for them to discover that I was way above them the whole time and was just messing with them.

This is the reason I made those other three forms. The technique to make these forms actually lets you look like anything you desire. If I preferred it, I could even make myself a human form.

The technique was originally created by my Father. Funnily enough, he has a terrible problem with his short height and he invented the original technique to be taller. He got so good at it that he was able to create this transformation with absolutely no loss in power. The reason why Zarbon is my most loyal subordinate is because I taught him this very technique to hide his own form.

I, myself, took this technique and changed it to not only lower my power to easily controlled levels, but also be completely apart from my real body, making any damage they gain not transfer to my true from. This drastically lowered the power of those forms, but that is what I wanted in the first place anyway.

It seems that Cooler found or will soon find a way to use this technique to multiply his power instead of divide it. He must have done this because no matter how much he trained he could never get close to my power. And if Dragon Ball Super is to be believed I must have found a way as well, in order to get that golden form. Although whether Super is a thing here, I don't know. I have never heard of or talked to Beerus and I am definitely not some sort of agent of his.

If I had all of those immunities, then they would figure it out far too soon and my favorite game would come to a terrible end.

Therefore, my wish did not include a few of these immunities. Instead of regeneration, I would take damage like everyone else and if I die or am removed from existence I will resurrect at full health at any place I desire, unless I wish to die and go the otherworld in which case, I can be resurrected at any time and to any place while there. I also am not immune to abilities or physical laws.

If I ever need the ability to regenerate or other immunities, I could always wish upon myself for that. Not that I am likely to use my power to grant wishes often. The ability is not free, it uses magic to make happen and using it will tire me. I will only use it when I have to or to seem even more badass.

"Mighty Porunga! You may now go; I have no need for a third wish." I tell the dragon.

"I shall take my leave then. Farewell." And he disappears into the sky and the seven dragon balls turned into stone and flew off together. I assume back to Guru.

I have no need for any other wishes, now that I can grant my own. I thought about destroying the dragon, but if I did that I assume Guru could just easily put him back together again. I also thought of destroying planet Namek to keep anyone from using a wish to interfere with me in the future. However, the Namekian dragon cannot interfere with me due to my power being so high and it might be funny seeing someone try to use them against me only to find out that it does not work.

Chapter 10 – Frieza tests his new ability.

The very first thing you should do when you gain a new power is try it out to make sure it works properly. I am of course talking about my wishing ability; I am not going to off myself to see if my immortality works. But since I can wish for just about anything, I spend a while thinking about it.

This of course meant I completely forgot about Zarbon, Dodoria, and the rest of my men on my spaceship. Both the darkness on the planet as well as the dragon was visible from space and therefore they all saw it, but then I never contacted them. I am sure they wanted to know what was going on right away, but they held off for a long time. However, they eventually contacted me.

"Lord Frieza?" Zarbon's voice disturbs my thinking. "Did everything go well?"

"Hum. Ah, Zarbon, I got the wish I wanted. I wished that I could give immortality to my most trusted men." I make up on the spot. It looks like I have found a tester wish.

"What! Really!?!" I could hear both Zarbon and Dodoria exclaim.

"Of course, I wanted immortality, but I thought it would be better to be able to grant or deny it to anyone I wanted." I boast. "I shall shortly grant it to the two of you for your contributions to my Empire. After this, I think I am going to take a vacation. You two will go back without me for now and take care of things at home. I have Vegeta's pod here to get me back, he won't be needing it anymore. Call me on this Scouter if you need me for anything while I am on vacation."

"Yes, sir!" I hear Zarbon and Dodoria acknowledge happily.

"I can't, I can't believe you would do that for me, sir." I hear Zarbon say.

"Yeah, sure Zarbon. Of course I would." I say absentmindedly.

I immediately transform into my true form, I have the ability to go straight to my true form from any of my forms. This will be hard enough on me without trying to do it in my lowest form.

I make sure my scouters communicators are off and I yell out, "Frieza! I wish that my most loyal men, Zarbon and Dodoria, have immortality, when I want them to have it!"

I immediately felt something. I felt like my mind expanded and for a brief moment I knew everything there was to know about that wish and how I could bend it to my own purpose if I desired. However, it is already to my own purpose, so I then decide to grant my own wish.

My eyes pulsate red light and I could feel my own power emanating around me, building up.

"HaaaaaAAA!!!" I exclaim.

When it reaches its height, it explodes out of myself. I assume that a red glow surrounds Zarbon and Dodoria in space.

I start breathing deeply even though I don't need to breath and I fall into a crouch. I do not actually feel tired, since unlimited stamina and unlimited power recharging similar to androids 16-18 were both a part of my immortality wish to the dragon. However, I feel like I had just channeled every last bit of my power through myself at once. It would only make sense that I would have to get use to that.

After a time, I calm my breathing and get back up; I put my scouter back on and contact my ship again.

"Zarbon, Dodoria, you are now immortal. Rejoice. Do not let me down and do not make me remove your immortality."

"Yes, sir! Thank you, sir!" I hear both Zarbon and Dodoria shout.

"You can go back to base now. My first vacation in a while starts now. I now feel I can leave my empire in you two's capable hands for a time."

"Yes, sir! Thank you, sir!" Both Zarbon and Dodoria shout again.

"Frieza, out."

I turn off my communicator.

The immortality I gave Zarbon and Dodoria differs greatly from my own. I made it more similar to invulnerability than immortality. As long as someone could not over power my own defenses, they will not be able to even damage them. If someone somehow manages to do that then they will regenerate back to full health very quickly, even if they are disintegrated. I will also instantly know if they are somehow damaged. I even manage to put in something that lets me know if they are ever disloyal to me. Finally, I can turn it off or on with but a thought.

"Hum, I could go deal with the humans or I could go deal with the Nemakians." I say out loud to myself.

The Nemakians had all but disappeared; I am sure Guru did something. I am sure he had some sort of evacuation plan for his planet after the last time there was that great disaster, but they have not yet left the planet. Speaking of their great disaster, I wonder why he never used the dragon balls to wish the other Namekians back to life or even use them to fix the damage to the planet caused by it. I remember that they were planting trees or something still to fix the planet, since they don't need to plant in order to eat food.

I had all but stolen the human's dragon radar. I am sure that they tried to find a Namekians power source, since they didn't leave the planet. Zarbon and Dodoria would have told me if they had and disabled their ship. They know that I summoned the dragon by now and that they can't wish their friends back for a while. Would they leave or would they just wait for the dragon balls to refresh? Likely they would ask a Namekian how long it would take to refresh, since they would be worried about the yearly time limit that the Earth balls have for resurrecting someone.

Hum, I tilt my head in thought.

I don't think I will need to worry about the humans until Goku shows up at least. First, I think I am going to go talk to Guru.

I transform back into my lowest form and blast off towards Guru's house.
