The next morning Starscream had all the inmates gathered for an important meeting as on the podium stand was Toffee
"Quiet down all of you!" Starscream said to them "Good, now that I have your undivided attention, allow me to introduce the director general himself, Mr. Toffee! He's here to shed some light on a brand-new program he'll be implementing here at Irongate over the next few weeks. We're hoping someone here among you has the mark of a champion."
That last part made Blaze gasp, could this again be related to the Mark of the Dragon, if so, does that mean Toffee knows about the legend as well.
The same thoughts cross Iroh's head as she looks at Blaze but Grievous he was suspicious on this sudden new program.
We then come to the Waynedome as another title match was about to start.
"Duelists young and old! Professional and amateur alike! Welcome to the Waynedome!" Chris announces doing his MCing for the days match "Now let's get ready to rev things up! We got an unprecedented rematch soon so stay tuned!"
We then see Predaking and Leonie in the waiting area before the match, somehow Leonie was able to convince Predaking to go though with the match, but he wasn't all that happy about it.
"Predaking, if it means anything, you made the right choice to dual today" Leonie told him smiling "Now let's put all this Blaze business behind us and move on"
Predaking looked at her with a look saying no to that and said looking away "I'll move on when I am good and ready"
"Of course, I only meant to…" Leonie said trying to make what she said right
"Save it Leonie, I have a dual to prepare for." Predaking said cutting her off. He picks up his deck and stands up thinking 'For the last thing anyone would want, is for me to lose again'
We come back to the field where Chris smiling said "Alright, now let's give it up! For the one, the only….Steeljaw!"
Indeed the opponent Predaking was facing was again the former champion Steeljaw, he rolled out of the tunnel on his runner The Wolf's Howl to a cheering crowd
"Come out, come out Predaking. It's your old friend." Steeljaw taunted through his mouth visor "And I, Steeljaw has got a score to settle. I'm winning my title back you Predacon!" He smiles and stops by the starting line
Meanwhile Predaking gets on his dual runner and loads up his deck and then turns it on
"And now, please welcome the undefeated, undisputed dual champion of the world…." Chris said as lights surround the entrance tunnel "The Dragon of faster! The one, the one…Predaking!"
Indeed, Predaking rolls out and emerges flying out of the tunnel and looks to the crowd and says to the audience "How about we put this Turbo Duel to overdive?!" The crowd cheers to that
"Does Predaking have the moves that matter to take down Steeljaw's new deck? Word on the circuit that it's powerful, it's fiearce and it's hotter then hot!" Chris announces that there is talk about Steeljaw's new improved deck
After lining up next to Steeljaw, Predaking thinks and says "If everyone here wants a show, then I'll give them a show" He then looks up at the fans
"Go Predaking! Go Predaking! Go Predaking!" The Wayne dome cheerleaders cheer as the crowd also cheers excited
'Go on cheer, scream your lungs if your organic, buy a season ticket if you want. Crowd around your televisions to witiness this deception' Predaking thinks as his mind was still on the fact, he technically lost a dual that no one in the public knows about 'It's all a waste. You came here to see a champion? Well sorry to say she's stuck in a cell somewhere. But if you want a show than step right up, I'm the all singing, all dancing runner up of New Station Square!'
"Predaking and Steeljaw are at the starting line, now let's make some noise New Station Square!" Chris announces as Leonie come out in the audience stands to watch the dual, concerned for Predaking "Are you ready to Turbo Dual! I think it's finally time to get things started, don't you?"
"I'll fire things up" Predaking anncouces and hits a button to engage the speed world field spell
"Dual mode engaged, autopilot standing by" The Computer of the dual runner said the field spell takes effect around the track.
"Turbo dualists, countdown initiated" The system said as the countdown to begin goes down and both dualists have 4000 LP each. "Ready, set…Dual!" The green light goes and both dual speed off with Predaking being quick
"Hey Steeljaw! Watch this" Predaking said drawing his first card "Dark Resonator put up the big Defense!" He summons Dark Resonator in defense mode which was 300
The AI tutorial plays and says, "Dark Resonator, is a Dark attribute fiend type Tuner monster that cannot be destroyed in battle once a turn."
"Predaking is off to a stronger start as I've ever seen" Chris commentated "I think he's trying to let Steeljaw know that this title is his and his alone"
"Heh, so what is that supposed to scare me?" Steeljaw said smirking
"No, but these two facedowns should do the trick" Predaking said laying the facedown cards down to end his turn
"Steeljaw had better be careful or one of those facedowns could lead to an early exit for the former champ" Chris said but Steeljaw didn't look worried
Back at Irongate, Toffee was beginning to explain the new program he had come to announce about
"Good evening, everyone, if you would allow me a few moments of your time I will explain the details of the program that Chief Starscream mentioned earlier" Toffee said as he comes down from the podium to walk by the inmates. "I am sure that many of you feel you've been dealt a bad hand in life, but I hope to change that, in fact for one person here new opportunities are a handshake away."
During this Wiz yawns while Toffee continues but he along with Grievous and Boomstick stood up straight as he nears "Your experiences in life could be a great service to the city and that is why I've decided to select one of you to take under my wing."
Toffee then stops when he was next to Blaze and said, "and should that person prove helpful to me and the city then I'll be more than happy to return the favour." He smiles as he notices Blaze look at him as he explains "Like perhaps a full pardon for example, a clean record, maybe even an invite to live here in New Station Square" He then looks at Blaze as he finishes "And it's just a matter of picking one of you to come and assist me"
Blaze was unnerved by that look, he knows something didn't feel right with this offer, it was too good to be true but she can't put her finger on what it could be.
Well what could Toffee be planning and can Predaking overcome his personal thoughts to not lose to Steeljaw?
