Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Fanmake Ep 8 Part 3
We come back to the Turbo dual between Predaking and Steeljaw and it was now Steeljaw's move
"Don't go losing your cool now Predaking, okay? Cause now it's my turn and I'm planning on turning up the heat in this place champ!" Steeljaw said and draws his card from his hand, a zombie like monster in blue outfit with 2000 ATK and 0 DEF and said "Starting with Skull Conductor! See losing to you last time caused me a lot of pain but this is nothing compared to the agony this monster is about to create!"
He plays it "Because as soon as I send old boney here to the Graveyard I can summon two zombie type monsters who are just dying to burn up some of your lifepoints!" He laughs at it as the monsters are summoned "Say hello to my two Burning Skullheads!"
Like the name says the monsters are skulls on fire and they are summoned in defence mode with 800 defence points each
"And it looks like Steeljaw is making sure this dual doesn't end up like there last rematch" Chris comments while the audience cheer.
"The old saying is two heads are better than one and I can't agree more with it" Steeljaw said smiling "Especially since you lose a 1000 life points for each Skullhead I have on the field!" The Skullheads then move in and attack Predaking directly making him lose half his LP. "Looks like I'm halfway to my victory lap, aren't I Predaking?"
This shocks everyone in the stand as Predaking just lost half his lifepoints in one move. Chris also shocked looks away and said "Oh dear, I can't bear to watch this unfold!"
"Well, keep your eyes covered because there's a lot more to come" Steeljaw said smirking as his Skullheads conjoin into energy "And I'll start by releasing my Skullheads in order to summon Skull Flame!"
Indeed his Skull Flame returns, in attack mode, it looks to be a sage like monster with a skull motif and a long fire mane coming from the back of his head it also has 2600 Attack points
"Steeljaw seems to have brought his A-game today folks and it looks like he's going to do everything in his power make Predaking hypothetically sweat this one out" Chris commentates as the Dual runner's race round the track "Now let's see what he's going to fire up next?"
"Well, this one should send a message to the world that Predaking's number 1 rank is about to go up in smoke" Steeljaw said as he summons a monster the normal way now and it was another Burning Skullhead
Chris shocked seeing it said "Another Burning Skullhead?! Something tells me Steeljaw has a bone to pick with Predaking"
"Burning Skullhead! Attack" Steeljaw said activating the monster's special ability and Predaking looses 1000 more lifepoints bringing him down to only a 1000 now.
This stuns the crowd, Predaking has never been down on the ropes like this and Chris comments "Our champ is down to his last 1000 Lifepoints. It might seem we're about to see Predaking's undefeated streak come to an end!"
"Hear that Predaking? Sounds to me like your fans have already chalked this one up as a loss to you" Steeljaw taunted at the Predacon chuckling "And so have I, because I got a little surprise waiting for you next turn. I get to summon another Burning Skullhead! That means a 1000 less life points for you and a Championship title for me"
Steeljaw laughs a bit and adds "Don't look so glum I assume you are looking under that faceplate Predaking, if you ever miss your title feel free to contact my agent for a rematch. I'm sure he'll be able to fit you in, in a year or 2"
Steeljaw speeds up and he continues monologuing getting angry remembering "When you took my title I lost my sponsors, my pay checks, my house and all my fans! They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but my burning skulls think heating it up is just fine!" He ends his turn
"It all comes down to this last turn" Chris commentates "If Predaking can't stop Steeljaw, he's finished!"
"Steeljaw is now Blaze" Predaking said realizing it "He's the same trash I always beat on this track and it's about time I take that trash out!" He is going to win this dual no matter what, time to get his head in the game
We come back to Irongate where Toffee's presentation on his new program is done
"Listen up all of you! Back to your cells immdiatly! The director has made his decision!" Starscream orders the prisoners
"Come on, get a move on" Fox orders as he ordered the inmates to follow him.
Blaze and her friends were making there way back when Starscream said "Hold it right their Blaze" She stops along with Iroh and Grievous "You're the one the director has chosen."
"Be careful Blaze" Greivous warned Blaze who nods understanding, he and Iroh leave while Toffee and Starscream approach Blaze.
"So, tell me Miss Blaze, what do you think of the little experiment I just proposed?" Toffee asked her
"I don't want any part of it thank you" Blaze said, she was still suspicious on Toffee's true intentions
"You'll take part in it and like you little…!" Starscream yelled but stopped when Toffee raised his hand to signal him to stop.
"Oh, come now Blaze." Toffee said smiling at Blaze "I know you want some answers."
"Huh? What kind of answers Toffee?" Blaze asked confused "What do you mean?"
Toffee still smiling replied "Don't act so coy, Blaze. I know all about that Mark of the Dragon that appeared on your arm."
"Really? Then tell me what you know about it, what does it mean?" Blaze asked
"That is what I am hoping to uncover with your help" Toffee said lying a bit. "I can't do it alone"
"Well, I don't believe you one bit" Blaze told him sternly "You're hiding something, you just want to use me"
"Of course, we all use each other" Toffee said smiling "Look at our city, Sol needs the trash that we give them, and they recycle it into energy and heat that we in turn use Blaze."
"It's not trash that we need Toffee, it's freedom" Blaze told him
"Fine then, it's yours" Toffee told her nodding
"Oh yeah? And for what price exactly?" Blaze asked arms folded
"Only for you to come with me so I can study your Mark of the Dragon" Toffee said looking away a bit "Together we maybe able to unlock the secrets of the Signers. But say no and well without that knowledge we have a special place to send you too and who knows what will happen to you once you get there" He looks and sees Blaze shocked, and he said giving a scary look "Surprise!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Blaze asked him serious
"Well here in Irongate anything is possible" Toffee told her.
"Thanks, but I will take my chances" Blaze said giving her final answer
Toffee looking at her said "Yes, I guess you will" It was worth a shot, but Blaze isn't as easy to persuade as others, he needs a different approach.
We then come back to the Dual between Predaking and Steeljaw
"We're back!" Chris said at Predaking draws his card "And Predaking has this once chance to stay undefeated!"
Predaking moves his Runner to turn and go towards Steeljaw "Enough warm up! It's time for me to kick this dual into overdrive! And I'll start by summoning out Big Piece Golem!" He releases Dark Resonator to summon said golem.
"What's this?" Chris said seeing Predaking go to one of his facedowns "It seems Predaking is going for a facedown folks!"
"You want to face down? How about I blast you off your runner?" Steeljaw said confident
"Funny Steeljaw, but he who laughs last, laughs best" Predaking said and plays a trap card showing an annoyed dualist looking at two black lizard like creatures "and my Revival Gift trap card should have me laughing all the way to victory since I can now summon a Tuner Monster my Graveyard! Next I bring out Dark Resonator!"
Indeed Dark Resonator returns to the field in attack mode but all of a sudden those black lizard creatures appear on Steeljaw's side of the field in defense mode with 1500 Defence points
"Wait's what happening now?" Chris asked seeing it
"Hey, I don't know either, why not fill me in MC?" Steeljaw asked just as confused
"That's a special effect of the trap Revival Gift, Steeljaw gets two monster tokens on his field and who knows what those two have planned" Chris explains smiling "Oh, is Predaking going to come back? Will he overcome certain defeat? Will he retain his title of Champion? Will he kick it into overdrive?!"
"Well let's find out, shall we? Resonator it's time to upgrade our Golem!" Predaking said and indeed the monsters combine "and with that in the way I can summon Red Dragon Archfiend!" His Signature Monster appears on the field in attack mode
"Talk about saving the best for last, Predaking unleashes his most powerful monster. Now let's get fired up!" Chris said as the crowd cheers
"This isn't good" Steeljaw said worried, he almost had this in the bag but now the tables are turning
"Archfiend! Attack!" Predaking said and his dragon obays destroying the Burning Skullhead and its special ability activates destroying the two Monster Tokens
"Ouch, that's gotta hurt, Steeljaw's Skullhead is dust, or would it be smoke?" Chris comments smiling "And the tokens too, Archfiend is just getting warmed up, what a special ability folks, as soon as it destroys any monster in defence all the others get a one-way ticket to the graveyard!"
Predaking turns his runner around to go the right way and said, "Now I'll play but trap, Lineage of Destruction!" He plays a card that had a shadowry figure and the dual monsters Stone Giant and Mystical Elf in an explosion it lies down and sends up a beam of purple light
The AI Tutorial said "With Lineage of Destruction, the number of times your monster can attack is equal to the number of your opponent's monsters you destroyed while in defense mode."
"And it seems Predaking has played this match with the skill and poise of the true champion that he is!" Chris comments at the Lineage of Destruction powers up Archfiend. "And it also appears Red Dragon Archfiend is ready to finish things off!" Archfiend roars in confirmation as it can now attack three more times now
"Steeljaw! Hope by now you learn not to play with fire!" Predaking said "Because it looks like your career is about to go up in flames again!"
"Is it too late to say I'm sorry? Please!" Steeljaw said worried now
"Go ahead but I guarantee it won't do you much against him!" Predaking said point to his dragon "Attack! Red Dragon Arichfiend! Show no mercy!"
Red Dragon Archfiend roars and attacks Skull Flame destroying it and reducing Steeljaw to 3600 Lifepoints but that was only the first of three attacks and with no other monsters defending him that means the dragon was coming for the Wolf Cybertronian himself.
"Why not look at the bright side of this Steeljaw? You may lose but at least it makes for good television" Predaking taunts him as Archfiend prepares it's second attack
Steeljaw gulps nervous and said "Now, now, nice dragon. You don't want to actually attack me, do you?" But his pleads were for nothing as Archfiend fires his fire breath burning off 3000 lifepoints off him as he screams
"Flame on! Steeljaw is down to his last 600 points" Chris mentions
"Don't feel too bad, you're just a warmup" Predaking said to Steeljaw "Once we're finished here, I've got a rematch with an old friend of mine. So, thank you for the practice" Steeljaw looks at him confused "It's time to lose a third time! Archfiend end this!"
Archfiend attacks Steeljaw and reduces him to 0 and he spins a bit before coming to a stop, having lost again to Predaking he was stunned.
Predaking stops by him and said to Steeljaw "They say that third time's the charm Steeljaw, but I have a feeling your sponsors won't see it that way. Perhaps you should switch careers to changing brake pads instead!" Steeljaw groans not liking that.
"Predaking wins!" Chris calls out "In a dual that will no doubt go down in history, Predaking turns certain defeat into victory over former champ Steeljaw!"
Predaking's visor opens up as he gets off his runner and looking at his fans said "Who's the Dragon of Faster?! Who's king of the dual?! That's right it's me! Predaking!" The crowd cheers but he thinks to himself 'and next time I meet Blaze the cat, I'll prove it once and for all.'
He knows his mind will never be at ease until he gets his rematch, but he is okay to keep playing things are normal until he can meet Blaze again.
Well Predaking still has issues over the knowledge he lost to Blaze but he is coping meanwhile what dangers lie for Blaze in the walls of Irongate. Stay tuned
