what if chainsaw man: what if Makima found the genuine connection

This story is basically if she found the genuine connection she seemed when she was obsessed with chainsaw man except she gets it from a human unexpectedly

What if part one chapter this event takes place before she met denji in that small town when first transforned into chainsaw man the first time (side note the training i add to this is from chagpt results not just purely my idea).

as makima doing her usual reports running the public safety bureau she later heads off to get some coffee "i finished all the file reports" said the worker on the outer work office "very good" said Makima "just place those to me later in my office" said Makima "yes of course" said the worker they walk off later there was a new recruit from another division who shows up they encounter her outside their name is ryuji

"ah, i am new here i am ryuji and you are?" asked ryuji "Makima" said Makima "That's a nice name" Said Ryuji "why thank you" said Makima "what division would I be working here?" asked Ryuji "oh we"ll find room for you here" said Makima "alright" said ryuji "I look forward to working with you" said ryuji as he walks with her "I do too" said makima as she muttered under her breath sizing him up like a predator just found more prey to target with her controlling nature, next day she sitting at a cafe but coincidentally she encounters ryuji again as he was walking "ah, it's you again?"

asked Makima "yes, um what was your name again?" asked ryuji "Makima" said Makima "please. sit" said Makima it was not a request ryuji sat down "oh by the way i got you something since i'm gonna be working for you

" he hands her a item ornament she takes and says "thank you how thoughtful not many would think too bring me something" then looks at it "tell me..." said Makima "what made you do this?" asked Makima "oh i just did that out the kindness of my heart" said ryuji "That's sweet" said Makima "Do you do this for anyone? or am I a exception?" asked Makima "oh, I only do with people I geniunely like" said ryuji

"hmm..that kind of devotion is rare" said Makima "I'll cherish it" said Makima as she puts it in her pocket "you seem to be a very mature and polite lady miss Makima very good traits i see" said ryuji "good traits?" said Makima "That's interesting. Most peoplee wouldn't say something like that about me" said Makima "well, i see it after all you wouldn't be running public safety bureau if you didn't right?" said ryuji "perhaps" said Makima "tell me...what do you think my traits are like?"

asked Makima "I think your traits are professional and very elegant much like yourself approachable" said ryuji "approachable...that's very kind of you" said Makima "but tell me do you really believe that? that i'm approachable?"

asked Makima "i see that you have class for a lady it suits you deep down i think you carry warmth" said ryuji " that's very sweet thing to say" said Makima "most people believe what they want and sometimes...that makes them easy to control" said Makima

"but you really believe that don't you? that i have warmth? how cute" said Makima "after all my time as a people person i know a softer side when i see one and you definetly got one" said ryuji "you believe I have a softer side?" said Makima "That's very sweet...and very naive" said Makima "naive would be believing anything or what they see easily i don't do that i...delve deeper" said ryuji "you delve deeper?" asked

Makima "that's rare Most people only see what they want to see they take comfort in their assumptions you say you look deeper... but are you sure you're seeing what's really there?" asked

Makima "or just what you want to believe?" asked Makima "tell me... what exactly do you see in me?" asked Makima "i see someone who wants to let a gentler side out but doesn't want to because you aren't sure how to express it" said

ryuji "that's a interesting answer" said Makima "most wouldn't think to say something like that...or dare too" said Makima "that gift i gave you i did that not expecting anything in return i just enjoy your company" said ryuji "most give to receive even if they don't realize it themselves"

said Makima "but...you you simpl do because you want too?" said Makima she pauses then smiles soft subtle and yet...warmer "that's rare" said Makima "tell me why?" asked Makima "because i know i just met you but i think i like hanging with you" said ryuji "you like me?" asked Makima "you're very honest that's good"

said Makima "and you enjoy being around me even though you don't know everything about me?" said Makima "that's dangerous to say" said Makima "but...also very sweet" said Makima "actually i paid attention to you for a bit when first came i never do things without considering factors" said ryuji

"i see" said Makima "so your careful thoughtful you don't just blindky rush into things" said Makima "That makes you even more interesting" said Makima "so tell me since you've observed me what is it you think i want" asked Makima "i think you want something genuine tell you what how about i take you to dinner? platonically of course" asked ryuji "dinner?"

said Makima "that's very forward of you" said Makima "i could say yes...but tell me why should i?" asked Makima "it would be a great way to kill time" said ryuji "too kill time?" said Makima "that's a interesting way to put it you don't expect anything from me no ulterior mootives no hidden desires" said Makima "alright" said Makima

"i'll let you take me too dinner" said Makima "let's see if your enjoyable to be aroun as you claim" chapter one end chapter two: dinner and manners. ryuji and Makima enter the resturant he takes her coat and puts it on the seat treating her like a gentleman as they sit

"i'll pay for our meals this place wouldn't be the same without you here wuth me" said ryuji "how polite" said Makima "though i think you care more about my company obviously then the place?" said Makima "of course i ensure you have a good time" said ryuji

"you're quite devoted aren't you?" said Makima "offering to pay saying the place wouldn't matter without me here...your very considerate" said Makima "but tell me do you do this wuth anyone or am i a special case?"

asked Makima "oh i only do this with people i feel comfortable with and like" said ryuji "an exception, hmm?" said Makima "that's interesting people don't usually make exceptions without reason"

said Makima "you really are unique" said Makima "since, i'm such a rare exception i'll let you choosw what I'll be having" said Makima "i'll trust your taste" said Makima later after dinner in the resturant as they walk out "did you enjoy it?" asked ryuji

"yes. it was pleasant" said Makima "though i suspect it wasn't just the food thar made the evening enjoyable was it?"

said Makima "i suppose not" said ryuji Makima as she about to walk away "hey" said ryuji "how can you leave without doing this?" he hugs her goodbye hug "how sweet" said Makima "your a interesting one"

said Makima "i'll be looking forward too our next meeting" said Makima next few weeks they would go on dinner dates and occassionally ryuji would bring her gifts without seeking anything in return as they meet outside the office "ah, we meet again?"

said Makima but there's a noticable shift she's less calculated in her speeches and just for a moment like she being honest beneath her exterior

"it appears so" said ryuji as he gives her a welcoming hug she has a relaxation she doesn't reciprocate it but she doesn't reject it either "how kind of you"

said Makima as he pulls away "oh here i got you something" he pulls out a necklace" she grabs it inspects it "how sweet of you" said Makima "and what do you hope to gain in return? asked Makima "nothing except your embrace" said ryuji "hmm...you don't ask for much do you?" said Makima

"but i don't mind it" as the day passes "would you like to join me in a theater?" asked ryuji "theater?" asked Makima "alright i'll let you take me" they go into the theater

"being in your presence has been lovely for a classy lady as yourself" said ryuji "classy?...you say interesting things about me" said Makima "most don't see me that way they tend to focus on...other aspects"

they enter the theater watching a movie "you enjoying the movie?" asked ryuji "i am...but i suppose your enjoying something else more than the movie?"

said Makima "it wouldn't be fun without you after all not the same solo of course" said ryuji "i see...your very honest that's good" said Makima later after the movie ends they walk "enjoyed that as much as i did?"

asked ryuji "i had a fun time" said Makima "same time tommorow?" asked ryuji

"yes don't be late" said Makima ryuji give Makima a goodbye hug again next day they sitting at a cafe "you know i really like hanging with you your very pleasant" said ryuji "you do say most interesting things about me

" said Makima "time with you has been fun in this world for me i must say" said ryuji "in the world hmm?" said Makima "tell me what would you do for the world? to change it?" asked Makima "change the world? i would remove narcissism because it turns others against eachother" said ryuji "hmm..."

said Makima "interesting answer you believe the world would be better without it? without the drive?" asked Makima "human or any nature isn't based solely off of one concept people would just have different driving forces"

said ryuji "oh..." said Makima "you have a interesting perspective you believe they would have a different drive?" said Makima "yes, it'd be one note to think a entire race is just defined by one measly concept" said ryuji

"you have a unique perspective" said Makima "tell me what would you be in a world like that?" asked Makima "i'd just be it's observer following how things unfold" said ryuji "interesting..." said Makima "you truly are different" said Makima "and what would i be in this world of yours?" asked Makima

"you?..." said ryuji "you'd be unfiltered close even" said ryuji "unfiltered?" said Makima "i suppose...that's not bad" said Makima "definetly cheers to our friendship" said ryuji "friendship?..." said Makima as they clang glasses together

"if that's all...what exactly do you want from me?" said Makima "in all this?" asked Makima "what i want?...is your embrace" said ryuji as he side hugs her "embrace?..."

said Makima "that's all?" said Makima as for one moment behind her words there's no calculation or manipulation as she basically being real not practiced she doesn't fully reciprocate the hug but she subtly let herself be relaxed for a moment

"you don't ask for much do you?" said Makima "no i feel the simplest things as closeness count after i seek nothing in return but your solace" said ryuji "my solace?" said Makima "if my solace is all you want...then you shall have it"

said Makima chapter 3 later as ryuji gets close to Makima in one of his missions he sees her do a move on a stray devil she points her index finger and says "bang" and instantly it kills the target ryuji later asks her "what was that?"

she then says "that is one my abilities it instantly gets the target" she says "interesting..." says ryuji "i have a question..." says ryuji "oh...?" says Makima

"what would that question be?" asked Makima "ever thought about honing it? like you constantly say bang then?" asked ryuji she puts her hand on her chin stroking it thoughtfully "honing it?..." said Makima

"i never thought about but i could give it a try" said Makima later she would do just that aiming at objects and saying bang over and over again and the same effect would happen until...

the moment she does it again her index finger has visible air pressure and when she says bang aiming at the object it doesn't crack it doesn't damage in a tradtional sense it turns inward on itself and disintegrates into fine mist she watches

"huh..." as she says "it appears you were onto something ryuji" said Makima "well i do have a eye for potential i suppose"

says ryuji "were you hoping to gain anything out of helping this?" asks Makima "no" says ryuji "i simply just wanted to help you it's your solace that i only seek in return

" said ryuji "interesting..." said Makima "usually people do things because they want something...but you truly don't ask for much?" said Makima

"that is rare" said Makima "is this bonding that is my only thing i seek in return after all" said ryuji "bond?" said Makima

"if it's bonding all you want then i suppose you shall get it" said Makima "it's odd...but i don't mind it" said Makima later she talks with ryuji afterwards

"your...affection and complimentary of seeking nothing in return...it's endearing" said Makima "well i do have a talent of seeing those who got a good heart even if others don't see it

" said ryuji "even ones where people overlook" said ryuji "you say nice things about me" said Makima "i wonder if you'd say that if you saw the real me" said Makima

"i'd stand by you no matter what" said ryuji "no matter what?" sai Makima not fully expecting that answer

"besides the time we spent i think you clearly have that softer side given that you like my company too" said ryuji "huh...your interesting" said Makima "you have a interesting way of looking at me...most focus on other aspects"

said Makima next moment that night coming Makima feels something she hadn't anticipated as she at her place the people she usually met either feared her submit to her or wanted something from her but for once she encountered a interaction that didn't come with conditions that made her look at things in a different light next day as she encounters ryuji again

"hello!" said ryuji as he gave Makima a welcoming hug she doesn't fully reciprocate the hug but she looks more accepting of it as well "you are quite the affectionate one aren't you?" said Makima

"but...i don't mind it" said Makima "so, seems that ability of yours improved huh" said ryuji "yes" said Makima "if it weren't for your guidance...i would have never thought about doing this" said Makima

"and you not seeking anything in return...that's not a bad quality to have" said Makima "oh it's no problem after all what are companions for?" said ryuji "companions?"

said Makima "if that is what you want then i'll allow it" said Makima "glad to here it" said ryuji "another thing happened after you had me hone my ability" said Makima

"really what's that?" asked ryuji "after you had me do that...i noticed my body also feels stronger when their was a package delievered to me i set it beside my desk and apparently it was a premeditated attack because it was a bomb that blew up but in the rubble it didn't damage me at all usually my contract that protects me would have saved me but instead...

it's almost as if the bomb couldn't harm me physically" said Makima "wait really?" asked ryuji "i walked out of it unscathed i didn't even feel any pain to show you go ahead hit me with your sword"

said Makima "are you sure?" asked ryuji "yes, go ahead you have my consent" said Makima ryuji would slash his sword against her skin...only to see it only created sparks like he hit steel with it

"whoa..." said ryuji "maybe i made you stronger than i anticipated" said ryuji "it appears so" said Makima "seems this is beneficial given this was not from a contract" said ryuji

"it does seem so" said Makima "usually i'm the one giving favors now you changed the game" said Makima "you truly are unique" said Makima "no problem" said ryuji "there's something i should tell you"

said Makima "oh what's that?" asked ryuji "i...am the control devil and before i met you i thought humans and others alike were just means to a end tools even"

said Makima "but after i met you...now i see the value in geniune connections you made me consider something i never did before" said Makima

"now instead, of domination and control i see mutual understanding and cooperation is the way" said Makima "ah, you are a devil and i changed your heart huh?"

said ryuji "i guess you needed the right person" said ryuji "tell me what made you change with my presence around?"

asked ryuji "well...for starters usually people either feared me or obeyed me or only came to me with ulterior motives you were none of those things instead you treated me with kindness with no motives or anything but enjoying my company" said Makima

"well..." said ryuji "what can i say? i enjoy being nice but it's because i want to" said ryuji "that's what makes you stand out"

said Makima "your probably the first person to have me see a different perspective" said Makima ryuji puts his hand on her shoulder

"well...if you enjoy our time together then so do i" said ryuji "seems the power of companionship lead to you being stronger to huh?"

said ryuji "it seems so" said Makima "even my punches are stronger would you like a demonstration?"

asked Makima "sure" said ryuji "let's see what you can do now" said ryuji Makima stands she punches construction causing a tremor rattling ryuji

"before my punches were already above human limits" said Makima "i could even pierce through a human even" said Makima

"but now my punches cause this now i might've surpassed most devils in strength now" said Makima "well look at that i turned you into a more improved version of yourself"

said ryuji "all i ask in return...is pat on the back" said ryuji

"you really don't ask for much do you?" said Makima as she pats his back later at her place thinking too herself as she does the bang effect when pointing at a item and her index finger pointed at it the item turns inward on itself then disintegrating a thought crossed Makima's mind

"if i can disintigrate something from existence then what would i need the chainsaw devil for?" thought Makima "all this time and it took a human to help me reach my potential when i thought i was at my peak"

thought Makima "seems this changes things then the goal i seek i shall do it myself then to rid concepts now"

said Makima chapter four next day Makima walking wondering what to do next knowing that primal devils represent things like fear aging and so on and given how stronger she got thanks too ryuji guiding her to get stronger she comes across him

"ryuji.." says Makima ryuji acknowledges her "hi Makima" says ryuji "how are you doing?" asked ryuji "before, i only saw control and domination to achieve my goals"

said Makima "but now because of you and your guidance and my recent training i have considered something"

said Makima "to answer your question i feel good" said Makima

"but I also am going on a mission to create world peace i always was but now i see a better way" said Makima

"oh really? what's that?" asked ryuji "i'm going to eradicate a primal devil the one the represents self-obsession specifically and thanks to your recent help i think i can do it" said Makima "really? you wanna take on a primal devil? you sure about this?" asked ryuji

"yes...before thought chainsaw man was my only option then after i met you and you helping me get stronger without any contracts now my

"bang" ability has elevated to where now the target turns inward on itself and disintegrates with how my ability is thanks to you now i could persue what i previously thought was impossible" said Makima

"if your so sure i mean go for it you stronger then you were before both mentally and physically give it a shot" said ryuji

"i will" said Makima "it won't be easy but getting rid of the primal devil that represents self-obsession shall grant the world peace i seek" said Makima

"would you like to join me?" said Makima "we can pursue this after work" said Makima "i guess i wouldn't have it any other way"

said ryuji "after work because i have a lot of paperwork to deal with that way we have time to pursue a goal i once thought only chainsaw man could achieve"

said Makima "I'll make preparations" later after work "so how you plan on reaching this primal devil that represents self-obsession?"

asked ryuji "I'll seek that one out traveling to hell care to come?" alright" says ryuji afterwards they make their destination to hell upon seeing a bunch of demons along the way "how exactly we gonna find this primal devil here? considering the region and direction in hell?"

asked ryuji "were gonna have a rely on my sense of smell and tracking it won't be easy of course but we can ask around" said Makima "well, let's hope that it essential here"

said ryuji they come across one of the devil's here "do you know where specific areas are? for which primal devil's locate at?" asked Makima

"this path leads to the darkness devil path fear representing, the other paths over there lead to ones of ones of qualities representing concepts tied to aging fear and etc"

said nameless demon "ah thank you we'll be there" said Makima, Makima and ryuji head towards that area where the other primal devils actually represent gluttony and jealously and so forth

"think we making it there?" asked ryuji "I'm not certain but i'm sure were headed towards the right direction" said Makima as they head towards that way they encounter one of the primal devil's they encounter the one that represents gluttony and one of it's mouth's attacks them

"i guess this is just a taste of what's ahead" said ryuji "indeed, but this task isn't the easiest it'll suffice"

said Makima ryuji uses one of his weapons against one of the mouths Makima hits one of them but her punching a little stronger than usual leaves a imapct "that's new..."

said ryuji "all thanks to your suggestion now i surpassed my self" said Makima as they continue Makima's speed is even evident "seems honing that "bang" thing you do didn't just make it stronger it made your body stronger too" said ryuji

"if not for you i would have never thought of doing that" said Makima "since you emitted that force from your finger it also made your body stronger in the process so you could use it to it's full potential in end making this result...didn't see that coming"

said ryuji as Makima moves like a blur and uppercuts one of the mouths her punch effects it deeply "it seems everything is in order here" said Makima

"but let's not waste our time with this one gluttony is simply when one overindulges let's skip this one"

said Makima she grabs ryuji's hand and moves on to the next region in hell searching for the primal devil that embodies self-obsession. chapter five in the depth's of this area as Makima moves quicker they end up in a secluded area trying to find the path to where the primal devil that represents self-obsession

"any idea on how to make it? aside from avoiding more primal devil entites?" said ryuji

"hm, i think if we make a contract with one to be our guide then we"ll find what were looking for" said Makima "good idea" said ryuji as they come across another area they do see a demon worth speaking too

"excuse me...we were hoping for a guide to this region how would you look to exchange for something?"

said Makima "exchange? what we talking about?" asked random demon "you help us get to where the primal devil that embodies the concept to self-obsession and we help you get to whatever you want deal?"

asked Makima "hm, well i do want to return to the living ok deal then i help you and you get me to the land of the living"

said random demon they both shake on it and then they head toward where the random demon takes them then up ahead as the random takes them they encounter the primal devil the one that represents the concept of self-obsession "here we are" says random demon

"i'll let you take it from here" says random demon as they approach the primal devil that represents the concept of self-obsession "what brings you two here?"

asked the primal devil "we are here to expunge your very existence" said Makima "expunge? do you really think any devil or human or any being below stands a chance against me?"

said the primal devil "we shall see" said Makima then both ryuji and Makima go in as the primal devil unleashes mini versions of itself even it's big ego like head ryuji decides to deal with the small ones then Makima decides to deal with the bigger threats

she moves like a blur then lands attacks one making one of the little mini ones fly and even punching the big head so hard it crashes against the walls "impressive" said the primal devil

"but do you think you can handle this?" said the primal devil ti makes what looks like hundreds of hands headed towards her "Makima!"

yelled ryuji all she does in this moment raises her index finger at the targets she says with a whisper "bang" then almost all of them turn inward on themselves then disintigrates as this happens the primal devil is in a little shock

"no..." said primal devil "that's not possible" then Makima keeps saying "bang" at every part of the primal devil's form disintegrating every bit of the being until it at a weaken state "how you able to achieve this?"

asked the primal devil then not answering she aims her finger at the primal devil's head then says "bang" disintigrating it for good "think this will work?"

asked ryuji "we will find out soon enough" said Makima then as they make there leave the random demon says one last thing

"thank you now the living is my next stop" as they disappear into the moment like mist then later as Makima and ryuji make their way out of hell thanks to having another lead out by another demon back to the land of the living months would pass

and they'd notice that people are getting along unlike before no more conflict like before people are showing humility vulnerability and authenticity even others start cooperating in ways that would have been impossible before "we did iti" said ryuji

"seems things are better this way" said ryuji "we did it...i couldn't have done it without you ryuji" said Makima

"i seeked world peace but...this is something even i could not anticipate" said Makima "well..glad that could happen gotta say this was unexpected" said ryuji

"and i made you stronger no contract just growth rather rare huh?"

asked ryuji "indeed, it seems i achieved something even i didn't know i could do" said Makima

"yeah, especially the way you took out some of the demons from that primal devil below? quite unexpected" said ryuji "well i have you to thank for that too" said Makima

"yeah, well too tell you the truth i'm gonna be transfered to another devil hunting company soon" said ryuji

"wait, you are?" said Makima "yeah...basically i got a call and my position got required due too them wanting me too join in not sure if i'll be back soon" said ryuji

"well...it was nice knowing you hope we cross paths again" said Makima

"i do too see ya?" said ryuji as he walks away then later as time passed Makima would get a call about a devil in a small town that chopped a bunch of guys up in a farm area as she goes too that area much later that devil is none other than the chainsaw devil when she makes it there seeing denji in chainsaw man form she has a gentle smile...
