Part 2, where Blaze begins her attempt to reclaim her Runner

The next morning came, and Blaze was resting in a chair as she was waiting for Garrus to be done
"Rise and shine Blaze" Garrus said setting the duffel bag on the table getting her attention "Everything you'll need tonight is in the bag. Also tell Grievous I'm putting this on his tab."
"I will" Blaze said standing up and goes to grab the handle, but Garrus stops her
"Listen, I did everything I could, but the odds are still against you." Garrus warned her.
"Only people who actually have a choice worry about odds" Blaze tells him "I have to get my runner back if I want to get my friends out of Sol."
"Wait, what?!" Garrus said surprised hearing that "Ha! You're taking this huge risk for some friends?" Blaze turns and looks at the picture of Garrus and Tali and he sighs "Like I said before, his name's Tali, we were best friends. Take notice I said were."
Garrus takes a deep breath "People come and go Blaze; doesn't matter what race they are. You make friends, you lose friends that's how it goes. But trust me at the end of the day you realize you shouldn't bother with friends because the only thing a friend is good for is…. finding the best way to let you down." Garrus looks sadly away from the picture "You're better off just looking out for number 1"
"I mean…after all…that's what everyone else does isn't it?" Garrus said "We were on a practise run…"
We flashback where we see the bike Garrus driving with Tali in a sidecar hit something on the connecter to both parts and go off the track
Garrus narrating continues "I lost control of the bike" We see the bike heading to a factory. "The connecting cables tore apart" Indeed the cables broke separating the bike from the side car
"Garrus!" Tali called out reaching for him
"Grab my hand!" Garrus said reaching out for his friend's hand "Almost there!" Garrus looks ahead and see they were nearing a factory
"We were going to slam into a factory building…" Present Garrus said as we see Past Garrus turn away from it leaving a shocked Tali "I didn't have time to think, I just turned away."
We see past Garrus spin out and fall off his bike onto the ground losing his helmet "Tali…." He looks up seeing his friend nearly about to crash "Oh no! Tali! Look out!"
We return to the present as Garrus finishes with saying "She was stuck in the sidecar and had no control. It was bad, she spent 8 months in recovery."
He goes to the picture as he said, "When she got out, he quit duelling, I never heard form her again, except for this card he sent me." He picks up the Machina Sniper card "This card was her part of our best combo, it's all torn and burned. I'm pretty sure it was her way of saying she'll never forgive me."
"Heh, not that I blame her, I wouldn't forgive me either if I was her" Garrus said sighing "Don't take this risk for your friends Blaze, because come crunch time, they're going to let you down. I mean, look at me! I let my best friend crash into a building just to save myself."
Blaze remains silent as she grabs the bag and begins heading for the exit, she feels there was more to the story, but she will press on it later. She however says "Try not to be so hard on yourself Garrus and thanks for all your help" She leaves the room
As she walks to the building exit, Blaze thinks 'I don't care what he says about friendship, friends are the most important thing a person can have. Without them, you're nothing'
Back in the room Garrus looking at the Machina Sniper card and thinks 'I know what I did was wrong, but did you really have to throw it in my face Tali' He then said, "Talk about pathetic."
He however hears the sound of a dual runner from outside and goes to check it out. He sees Blaze exiting the building and walking away and then looks to the nearby alley and sees something "Someone's out there."
We then see Gantu slowly drive out the alley and follow Blaze quietly as he thinks 'I'm coming for you Blaze' He laughs in his own head
We come to around sunset at the Security Impound Centre. People who work there were beginning to leave except Blaze who in her disguise walks in and hides until everyone was gone and the building was locked and the lights come off
'So far so good' Blaze thought peaking out a closet in her normal clothes, she then sees a security droid out on patrol 'Garrus was right about those security droids' She sees it turn a corner 'Time to move'
She exits the closet and begins heading up the stairs 'Top floor here I come' She keeps using the stairs as the elevators pose too much of a risk, she soon reaches the top floor and the door to 64B 'This is it. Now I have to hope this ID and passcode work' She swipes the ID and enters the code, and the door opens 'Perfect'
She goes into the storage of impounded items and uses a decive that homes in on her Runner and it soon shows her nearing it 'There we are, at long last we're reunited' She was about to jump to enter the crate when four searchlights shine on her "Huh?"
Gantu is heard laughing as she stood above with several Republic Servurity personel who work here "I'm starting to think you like me, Blaze. Why else would you constantly go out of your way to make sure we keep meeting up like this? Although I have to say for you this is your craziest stunt yet. What on Earth or Mobius were you thinking?"
"I just want my Dual Runner back Gantu. It does belong to me!" Blaze said annoyed she fell into this trap and that Gantu was back
"Actually, that Runner of yours is now property of Republic Security!" Gantu points out "It's going to become a patrol bike, or maybe they'll end up scraping it and turning it into a bunch of toasters! Honestly, I'm not quite sure" Blaze growls at him "But for you, it's back to Irongate! Get her boys!"
The Republic Security troops move to grab her but she jumps up to the crate her runner was in and goes inside
"Heh, sorry Blaze" Gantu said jumping down to get to the ground "But that Runner is offline, so just come out quietly" However he suddenly hears engine noises from inside "What is that?!" The other guards gasp
"Offline, please" Blaze said rolling her eyes as she got her Runner online and revs it, putting her helmet on and as Gantu gasps she drives out the crate over the guards and begins driving to to the rooms exit
"Don't let her get away!" One of the guards calls out the guards give chase on foot.
"You asked for it" Gantu growled getting up and begins running
Blaze makes it out the room into the fall just before the doors close and keeps going but suddenly something rams into her knocking her runner into a wall a bit
"Surprise!" Gantu said smirking now on his runner "Come on Blaze, did you really think you can escape from me a third time? I will never give up chasing you, do you understand that?"
Blaze revs her engine and speeds up "Chase this Gantu!"
"I see, so that's how you want to play it then" Gantu said with a smirk "Then I will tell you what, how about a deal? Give yourself up right now and I will forget about you breaking into the vault when I'm filling out the report."
"No chance on that!" Blaze said, she knew agreeing to that will be giving up on her Runner as well
"You're not leaving me with many options here Blaze" Gantu told her "If you won't surrender, I'll need to make you surrender, with a dual" He hits the button to engage dual mode
"Dual mode engaged, autopilot standing by" The AI system said and then as it begins to do it on Blaze's it said "Overriding suspects Dual Runner"
Blaze sighs as she gets her deck ready but thinks 'I just need to buy time while I load up the building schematics to find a way out' She then says out loud "Alright Gantu, bring it on"
"Let's ride!" Both of them said to begin the dual.
Well Blaze may have her Runner but now it is time for Round 3 with Gantu
