We return to the duel and so far it wasn't looking good for Blaze. She only had 1600 LP and Speed Warrior in defence mode and two face downs at most while Gantu had 3000 LP, his strongest Syncro monster she has seen and her healing Wave Generator held captive.
Blaze then said to Garrus "Garrus, I need you to help me out here"
"Listen the last thing you want is me as a friend." Garrus said having gotten over the shock of what she said earlier "Friends may get you through your day in Sol, but over here they just get in the way."
"I know you don't believe that" Blaze told him "I saw the card, Garrus. The one that Tali rescued from your last race, remember?"
Garrus does remember the card how damaged it was and it brought back the painful memories. He told her "Stop it! She gave me that card to remind me that I failed our friendship!"
"You're wrong." Blaze said surprising Garrus, she continues "She gave you that card….as a symbol of your friendship and no matter what road your two lives might have taken since that day, she's still your friend."
"Tali doesn't blame you for the accident, she blames herself." Blaze explained "She probably thought if she only supported you a little more, she could have been by your side all the way to the Pro League. It's not that she didn't want you to go, she didn't want you to go alone. So, she gave you the only thing that mattered, the card that fused your friendship, you know why? Because without her best friend, she didn't care about dueling anymore but if you ever needed help you know Tali would be there without a second to waste."
All those words hit Garrus as he slowly realizes and looks down, he was so caught up with everything on that day, he never really thought about how truly Tali felt.
Blaze continues "Whatever you think, there is one thing in Tali that hasn't changed, she's your friend…" she goes to draw
"I…. don't know what to think." Garrus admits
"Just one thing…that I'm your friend as well" Blaze told him surprising Garrus "It's my move!" she draws a card which was a little green engine like robot monster card "and I summon Turbo Syncron!"
She summons the monster out in attack mode which only has 100 attack
"and the bonus of having a Tuner monster out there is that Quilbolt Hedgehog comes back from the Graveyard" Blaze states as Quilbolt returns "I think it's about time we take this battle to the next level! Now Turbo Syncron, take out his Healing Wave Generator!
"What?! He doesn't stand a chance against that monster!" Gantu said shocked "What is all those fire fumes choking up your braincells?! You're going to lose this one Solian!"
Turbo Syncron attacks the Generator by punching it and as expected the battle resulted in Turbo losing but it wasn't destroyed, Blaze's life points however drop to 100 though
"Told you and now you're down to a 100 life points" Gantu said smirking under his helmet "Nice knowing you"
"Why? You are planning on going someplace?" Blaze asked and added "Or did you forget when Turbo Syncron attacks, even if he loses, I can summon another monster and I got just the one in mind." Turbo Syncron begins to glow as his effect kicks in "I didn't use her in our last match, in the pipeline, Sonic Chick say hello!"
In deed she summons Sonic Chick onto the field and she runs alongside the group of monsters
"Next I play my trap card, Urgent Tuning!" Blaze said and a card flips up showing Junk Syncron, Speed Warrior and Junk Warrior in ascending order
The tutorial plays and sayd "Urgent Tuning, is a trap card that allows you to release the required monsters on your field in order to Syncro Summon during the battle phase."
"So now by combining all the monsters on my field, I can use their bond to bring about a beast that will end this duel" Blaze told Gantu "I enjoyed my time at Irongate, but this Syncro summon is going to make sure I don't go back."
"Oh geez, Tali played a similar combo in our first tag team championship match, Blaze you sure you can handle a move like this?" Garrus asked concerned
"Don't do it!" Gantu begged
"Sorry Gantu." Blaze said as the tuning process begins "Now I tune my Turbo Syncron with my Quilbolt Hedgehog, Speed Warrior and Sonic Chic to Syncro summon Turbo Warrior!"
The monsters combine and form a robotic looking monster styled like a car with a pompordor like hair on his head and coloured red with claw like hands. It had 2500 Attack Points
"Turbo Warrior…. let's burn it up!" Blaze announces
"What a move…" Garrus said amazed
"Now Turbo Warrior, take out that Goyo Guardion!" Blaze ordered and Turbo goes to obay
Gantu chuckles and said "Still can't add, can you Blaze? Perhaps you can take Remedial Math back at Irongate! Maybe then you'll learn"
"Well, let me teach you something first, like what my warrior can do" Blaze said to Gantu "It cuts your Guardion's attack points in half, say goodbye."
"What?!" Gantu said shocked
"Blaze, you got him on the ropes!" Garrus cheered
Turbo Warrior puts his hands together and fires a dark blast at Goyo Guardion and the Guardion's Attack Points goes down to 1400
"Big deal, even with half it's strength gone I can still survive" Gantu said not too worried and explained "But next round you're out of time because I'm activating my countdown's effect!"
Blaze smiles a bit and plays a face down that shows a trap card with Speed Warrior, Junk Syncron and Junk Warrior on it with glowing auras and she says "Next round? There is no next round Gantu. I play Syncro Strike which gives 500 more attacks points to my Turbo Warrior for every Syncro monster I used to summon it!"
"No!" Gantu said shocked
"And if my math is right that adds up to your defeat" Blaze told him
Turbo Warrior is show by four green beams of light and it charges up the Attack to 4500
"How can this be?! With that kind of power, I can't stop that warrior from wiping out all my Life Points!" Gantu said shocked and annoyed "I can't let you win!" he speeds up heading to Blaze
"Look out!" Garrus called out
Blaze gasped as Gantu rides up beside her and slams his runner into hers. He said "I don't care if I have to cheat to do it but the only way you're getting out of here is with a Republic Security escort!"
"No!" Garrus said as he rides up and slams into Gantu keeping him at may from crashing into Blaze
"Huh? You two?!" Gantu said annoyed "Fine there's plenty of room in Irongate!" The two then got into a bike pushing contest
"Attack now!" Garrus told Blaze
"I can't!" Blaze said to him
"Just attack! Isn't this what friends are for?!" Garrus said to her
"They are…" Blaze said unsure how to fully feel on this
"Back off!" Garrus told Gantu as he begins pushing him away "My friend's got a duel to win!"
Blaze nods and said "Now, Turbo Warrior…finish the job!"
Turbo Warrior obays and goes to attack Goyo Guardion, the Guardion attempts to fight back but his weapon is deflected of his hand which glows red and forms a large red claw hand and slams into Goyo and destroys him
Gantu seeing this screams in horror as his Life Points fall to 0 and his runner fails and cause both him and Garrus to fall over onto the ground
"Garrus!" Blaze called out as she sees ahead the exit to the building
"Blaze! Just get out of here! Go!" Garrus calls out to her
Blaze nods and does so riding up the ramp and out the exit, however there was an army of Republc Sercuity troops waiting and they surround her and hit her with stun batons as she rides past them and she screams in pain
We come to someone else where we see a girl with long quite hair in a black uniform with yellow on it look up surprised like she senses something
Near by was a similar aged boy with short green hair in a similar uniform but had a white shirt and black vest look at her concerned "Huh? What is it?"
We see Blaze make it to the end of the group of troops and then see the girl shudder scared and concerned and then gets off the couch and run to exit the place they were
"Lysithia!" The boy said concerned and goes after her
We see Blaze's runner crash through a wall and trash before she falls off just as the two kids run out and see the situation, seeing Blaze lying on the ground
"Who…. who is she?" The boy asked concerned
Blaze pants and ground as she lay on the ground falling into unconsciousness. She managed to again allude Gantu, but what is to happen now?
Well Blaze got away but what is going to happen next time and how severe damage did that crash cause? Find out next time
