After the battle with the Dark Masters and the Demon Lords, everyone gathered around, knowing the worlds were now safe from their evil.

In Hollow Bastion, everyone saw beams of light shoot up into the sky as pink sparkles rained down as well, knowing it was a miracle. The evil Digimon all vanished as most of the Heartless have vanished as well.

"What is it?" Conker asked.

"I don't know, but it's beautiful," Zitz said. Setro approached as he saw it.

"It's just like how my ancestors remember it," Setro said.

"Groovy," Earthworm Jim said.

Meanwhile, Brian, Professor Layton, and Luke stepped out and saw it as well.

"It's just like the old days," Brian said.

"I'd be fascinated to ascertain as to when the town got such a dreadful name as Hollow Bastion," Professor Layton said.

Back in the Digital World, they peeked into Hollow Bastion through a portal.

"Sure glad that's over," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Yes. And thanks to you, its true beauty has been restored. That means every bit of life is now being born anew thanks to you. And it has regained its old name," Wisemon said.

"Its old name? You mean, it's not Hollow Bastion anymore?" Tai asked.

"If it isn't, then, what is it called now?" Kairi asked.

"Radiant Garden," Wisemon simply said.

"I like the sound of that," Naminé said.

"Azurill," Azurill chirped.

"It's exactly how it was before Ganondorf took it over and twisted it to his evil designs so many centuries ago. Even though the Dark Masters and the Demon Lords have been destroyed, the danger of Organization XIII and other evils like it still exists, and it is up to you Guardians of Kingdom Hearts to continue this fight against those evils," Wisemon said.

"Wisemon is right. It won't be long until the Organization catches wind of our victory and they'll be gunning for us hard," Sora said.

"And soon as we find out where their stronghold is, we're gonna have to fight them in their homebase and eliminate them all," Ash said.

"Speaking of which, Wisemon, do you have a way to get us to the Organization's stronghold?" Riku asked.

"I'm afraid that I don't. That is unfortunately out of my reach. Only Ansem the Wise could posses a way to get there, but I have no means of contacting him at all," Wisemon said.

"That's a real drag," Max said.

"It would have been too easy anyway," Ethan said.

"Since the Digital World and every other world has been saved, does that mean Tai and the others have to return to their world?" Tai's Agumon asked.

"I'm afraid so, Agumon. But you shouldn't fret because the gateways between the two worlds will always remain open, that way, you can visit one another whenever you wish," Wisemon said.

"Wisemon is right. The link between our worlds isn't easily severed, so we should be able to come and go through the Digital World at any time as long as the gateway remians opened," Thomas said.

"Because our hearts are connected with our Digimon friends and their hearts are connected with ours," Mikey said.

"That's telling them, Mikey!" Shoutmon said, smiling.

"Even though we're in different places, it doesn't mean we still can't hang out like we used to," Tai said.

"We'll never be truly separated from each other," Takato said.

"Takato," Guilmon cried.

"Don't worry, boy, I promise we'll see each other again," Takato said.

"Okay, Takato. I'll wait for you," Guilmon said. He looked at Guil and smiled. "Keep looking after Takato, won't you, Guil?"

"Charmeleon," Guil nodded.

"Well, we should head back. We came in from Lilycove City, so Kairi and May have Pokémon Contests to enter, and Brendan and I have our Gym challenges left," Sora said.

"That means Marina, Jason, Patrick, and I will be heading back to a different gate. We entered here through a digital gateway in Sunyshore City in the Sinnoh region. So we won't be going with you," Zach said.

"The same for the rest of us since we came in fro different places," Yoshino said.

"We have to make our report to Commander Sampson anyway," Lalamon said.

"It was a thrill to get to know you all, I just wish we had more time to spend with each other," Marina said.

"Me too," Zoe said.

"At least we know we have others just like us out there," Takuya said.

"And if you ever wanna talk, we're just a phone call or email away," Koji said.

"That'll be awesome," Jason said.

"And we'll keep in touch," Patrick said.

"That'll be awesome," Takuya said.

"Sora, the next time we meet, you and I should battle each other," Marcus said.

"I'll be looking forward to it, Marcus," Sora said. He and Marcus shook hands, promising each other an upcoming battle. Sora even gave an autograph to Jeremy.

A few moments later, the DigiDestined were saying goodbye to their partners and Takato caught both Impidimp and Hatenna for Ai and Mako and sent them to his family.

"Now you have said your goodbyes, I will open the gates," Wisemon said, opening the gates to Celadon City, Fushia City, Lilycove City and Sunyshore City, allowing the humans and Pokémon to enter through. The Digimon waved goodbye to their friends before the gateway closed.

Back in Radiant Garden, a group of Moblins, Goriyas, and wizards are gathered as Ganondorf's discarded clothing is in a circle. The wizards gave off a magical chant. The clothes lifted as they were being filled. Ganondorf slowly stood on his feet as the wizards, Moblins, and Goriyas kneeled before him.

"Lord Ganondorf. How good it is to see you again," the wizard said.

"What has happened? Where am I?" Ganondorf asked.

"You were defeated by the Keyblade wielders, Sora and Kairi. Do you remember?" The wizard asked. Ganondorf snarled at the mention of their names.

"Yes, I remember. I remember I was close to my goal, but my efforts were thwarted by those children. I failed," Ganondorf said.

"It was unfortunate, my Lord. You see, Kairi was the seventh Princess of Heart you needed. Loki has been defeated by their hands and the seven Princesses of Heart have unlocked the Door to Darkness, but it was sealed again by Sora and Kairi, but they had the aid of another Keyblade wielder as well, Lord Ganondorf," the wizard said. The evil warlock looked at the wizard.

"Another Keyblade wielder, you say? Explain," Ganondorf demanded.

"Other Keyblade wielders have been chosen. These Keyblade wielders are known as the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts. There are others just like them, but how many is unknown to me, Your Lordship," the wizard said.

"And what of Hollow Bastion? What is this warmth I am feeling?" Ganondorf asked.

"The Guardians of Kingdom Hearts are responsible for this, I'm afraid. They had the help of other children called the DigiDestined. They restored the town to what it was before we acquired it," the wizard said with a hint of regret in his voice.

"So they have. Someone might come along and discover my resurrection was successful if we stay here for long. Our enemies has no knowledge of my return, and I must remain in the shadows until I can make my next move. We must return to my palace in Hyrule, assuming it is still there," Ganondorf said.

"Yes, my Lord. It is precisely how you left it, and all of Hyrule still believes you are dead," the wizard said.

"Then, we will return there at once," Ganondorf said.

"Yes, but the ritual that was used to resurrect you hasn't fully replenished your strength, so it should be wise for you to rest until you have made a full recovery," the wizard said.

"Very well. In the meantime, gather Bowser, King K. Rool, and Dr. Eggman. And explain everything else that has happened while I was away," Ganondorf said.

Here's an unexpected twist. Just when the Dark Masters and the Demon Lords were defeated once and for all, Ganondorf has returned. What sort of plans will he have for Sora, Kairi, and their friends once they learned he has returned? Only time knows the answer to that question.

And that's the end of the fic. Anyway, I have a reason for Ganondorf making a return in the end of the fic. I thought of it similar to when Maleficent being revived in the Kingdom Hearts video games. But I figured Bowser, King K. Rool, Dr. Eggman, and their minions would be in my Journey Through the Worlds sequel as well, kinda like with Pete. That's all I wanted to say.
