We now begin the the Fortune Cup arc so let's get into it.

We come to the Wayne Dome where the opening ceremony was nearly ready, we join Blaze with Grievous, Iroh, Ashe, Lysithia and Caspar in the hallways, Caspar however was wearing Lysithia's clothes, a wig matching her hair and also a lot of makeup since he is taking her spot in the Emerald Cup roster. Lysithia meanwhile was wearing a orang long jacket and a yellow hat to conceal her identity.
"Well, what do you think, how do I look guys?" Caspar asked smiling.
"Caspar, you're as good a Lysithia as Lysithia is." Iroh said smiling.
"Yahoo!" Caspar cheers in joy only to be kicked in the shin by an annoyed Lysithia.
"Don't embarrass me!" Lysithia told him.
"Oh, chill Lysithia, nothing to worry about. I'm about to make you a dueling legend." Caspar said confidently as he goes to Blaze. "What do you say, Miss Amnesia Cat, ready?."
"Yep." Blaze said as the two begin going down the hall "But I think the makeup should go."
"Okay, but only if you tell me your name." Caspar said to her.
"You'll find out soon enough." Blaze told him.
"Awesome, I bet it is really cool" Caspar said excited.
The others watch them leave but Grievous concerned thinks 'There's something up about this whole Emerald Cup thing, be careful Blaze, watch your back.'
We come to the main arena area of the Wayne Dome, where the opening ceremony was beginning as all the seats were filled and on a stage platform, Chris McLain was ready to start as he stood by Toffee who sits on a comfy chair.
"Dualists, young and old, Professional and Amateur alike, put your hands or whatever together for our Master of Ceremonies, Director Toffee!" Chris said motioning to the lizard man as the crowd cheers.
"T-O-F-F-E-E!" The Cheerleaders chant but wince at the strong gust of wind suddenly happens. The causes was suddenly Red Dragon Archfiend suddenly appearing and flies around the arena.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Red Dragon Archfiend has taken to the skies!" Chris announces "You know what that means…" The coming out on his Runner to the field Predaking emerges "Let's hear it for the reigning champion, the beast king of the cards, the one Predacon who rules the duels, The dragon of faster himself, Predaking!"
Red Dragon Archfiend lands in one knee kneeling position and Predaking uses the turn shield pannel to launch himself onto the stage landing perfectly by his signature card and his face mask retracts as the audience cheers.
"New Station Square! What do you say we kick this tournament into overdrive?!" Predaking announces holding on finger up high. "Let's get this started!"
"It's time we meet the lucky dualists who were selected to compete for a chance to go head-to-head with Mr. Predaking." Chris said and points to the floor of the dual arena "The Eight Emeralds!"
A panel opens and a lift brings them up which Blaze and Caspar are on with the other six chosen.
"Here we go, this is it!" Caspar said excited "W-Woah! Look at all the people!"
The other six included a robotic looking female in a silver, black and purple design, a black sleeveless coat cape, green optics with also what looked to be attacked sunglasses on her head. Another was a man with black hair and glasses in a what looked to be a doctor's outfit.
A third was a green skinned dragon man with a red hair and beard wearing green armor and strapped to his back was a sword with a blade made of ice. Then there was a drone girl with purple LED eyes and short purple hair, wearing a black beanie hat and skipped up jacket and also black work boots.
Also, there was a purple and silver robot with a single yellow optic and an arm laser cannon for a left arm (his POV) and finally was a man in a black cloak coat with a hood that obscures his face there was nothing else of note of him other then he chuckles.
"Now let's hear it for…. the always mysterious Demyx!" Chris announces as on the large viewscreen appears the cloaked man "The deadly and great Robo-Roxy!" The purple, black and silver female robot appears on the screen "Shockwave!" The purple and silver robot appears on screen. "Dr. Johnathan Crane!" The one in the labcoat appears on screen. "Miss. Uzi Doorman!" The drone girl appears on screen "Sir Nyloke!" The dragon man knight appears on screen "The lovely Miss. Lysithia!" Caspar appears on the screen smiling and giving double peace sighs "And Blaze the Cat!" Blaze appears on the screen.
"Hey, dudes! That guys got a mark!" One of the people in the stands notes as he and many others notice the blue criminal mark on Blaze's face.
"Yeah, totally!" Another said looking annoyed.
"What's a Solian doing here?" One asks.
"Who is that lowlife?" Another one asks
"I bet you anything she took someones invitation." A guy close to Grievous says.
As Blaze's friends sat all around them they can hear the crowd getting riled up and annoyed by the fact of Blaze's presence in the tournament. Except from three people in groan coats and fedoras next to them.
Caspar looks at Blaze and asked, "So your name's Blaze?"
"That is right, now don't wear it out." Blaze said nodding as she doesn't let the crowds booing get to her.
"That a pretty generic superhero name, isn't it?" Caspar asked.
"Super what?" Blaze asked.
"Nevermind." Caspar said.
"Who's that loser?!" The crowd began chanting repeatedly and as they here Demyx gives off an annoyed growl. Nyloke looks over at Blaze but she didn't give off any villainous appearance but looks could be deceiving but it's actions not appearance that shows someones true nature so unlike the audience he didn't mind her being here.
Toffee remains sat eyes closed as he lets this happen. Chris meanwhile frantically panicking as he tries to figure out how to calm the crowd.
"Give me that" Roxy said taking Chris' mic as she steps forward and speaks into the mic saying "I have to say something!" This quiets everyone down to listen "I am known as Robo-Roxy, but you can call me Roxy for short. I know things are different in this city, but where I am from you judge someone based on their spirit!" She points to Blaze "This purple cat here may have been branded by your people as a no good! But when I look at her…all I see is a dualist!"
"And being a dualist myself, that means I have to respect her until she gives me a reason not too!" Roxy continued "Because a dualist doesn't judge another dualist based on where they comes from or who their family is or how much money they have! That isn't what really matters!"
She then steps away while Caspar in awe of her cry's tears of joy. Toffee begins to clap his hands and that begins all the audience clapping as well and Chris laughing nervously claps as well.
Roxy bows to Toffee and goes back to the line up and while passing hands Chris back his microphone saying "Here's your mic"
"Thank you…uh…" Chris said awkwardly.
Toffee stands up and goes to his podium and begins addressing the audience saying "Thank you for those well chosen and heart-felled words. In our world social status and personal wealth draw a line between ourselves and out fellow being! But I had a vision of a dual tournament that would if only for a fleeting while remove that line. A tournament separate from the competition of life. Where the haves and the have-nots could meet each other on a level playing field! And prove themselves to each other and to the world! Fellow Dualists welcome to the Emerald Cup!" This speech motivates the people to cheer excited for this more not.
The large view screen changes to a tournament bracket with eight slots with the photos of the Eight Emeralds rotating very fast.
"Now let's turn to the brackets shuffler! Chris said motioning to the screen "And find out who's dueling who in the first match!"
Blaze looks and sees the matchups had herself going against Demyx, Uzi will be facing Nyloke, Crane will be against Shockwave but the interesting was Roxy was facing Caspar first.
"Look! I'm duelling Roxy in the very first dual!" Caspar said excited seeing it and looks over at her who was looking back at him before looking away. He thinks 'I can that girl bot, I know I can!'
We come to a bit later where Toffee had gone to a private break room that Deviot was also in, and he sits on the couch.
"Doofinsmirtz, tells me he's got everything in order." Deviot tells Toffee. "Now we know for certain if the Signers are who we hope they are!" He laughs and snaps his fingers and a holo screen avtivates shooing Doofinsmirtz's face.
Doofinsmirtz bows and said "Good morning, Director. Now by aligning an neuron emulator with my energy alligator and by spinning some particles and crushing some atoms. I was able to come up with device that can detect the mysterious power of Ener-D." He begins to spin around "It's my most inspired invention yet! It's amazing and…can fit in your bag!"
"I give you…." He spins around fast "The one and only stupendous, fabulous Doofinsmirtz creation…!" He motions to a device with a small satellite dish and a power needle reader "The D-tector-Inator!" We see the stadium with little devices with red light tips glowing as he explained "By placing remote sensors all over the stadium and feeding their signal into the D-tector-Inator I'll be able to spot even the slightest Ener-D activity."
"Excellent." Toffee said nodding and stands to leave the toom.
"Let's find those Signers!" Doofensmirtz said as the transmission ends.
Well we met all 8 of the duelists and one has made a strong impression to be a fan favorite.
