When Lysithea opens her eyes she finds herself in a completely different place, no longer was she in the Wayne Dome stadium, instead she was now in a forest.
"Where am I?" Lysithea asked and sees many fairies flying around giggling, one comes bad pats her cheek making her giggle,
She then hears Karibon's cry and sees it next to her. It was floating as it bounces up and down.
"Karibon!" She smiles but then stops and looks around "Where is this place? It looks so familiar, but I can't remember." As Karibon happily spins around Lysithea thinks 'I sense that this is a safe place but…something feels wrong'
We then come back to the duel stadium to see that Lysithea was still there physically, but mentally she was somewhere else. Just as Crane had intended to happen.
"Excellent, Lysithea has finally travelled to the Spirit World." Crane said with a smile "Now I will truly test her Signer powers." He chuckles and draws a card "My turn. And I will be activating my face down Gestalt Trap." He reveals a trap card that resembled a metal spiked collar like device it glows and said device appears on the field "And this particular trap card will equip on your little Karibon."
The collar launches from the device and wraps around the panicked Karibon. When it was attached Karibon's Attack points drop to 0.
'Let's see how Lysithea deals with this." Crane thinks to himself and said out loud his voice going into that demonic echo like voice as his mask eyes glow again "Not only are Karibon's abilities cancelled but all his points both attack and defence go to zero dear Lysithea"
Back in the Spirit World Lysithea hears Karibon cry worried and sees the Gesalt Trap coller appear onto him.
"Karibon! What just happened?!" Lysithea said worried and panicked. She so confused and hasn't realized the duel and this world are connected.
We return to the duel where Crane was grinning under his mask
"The trees aren't deaf but they are mute to your crying pleas." Crane said as if he could hear what was going on in her head. He then plays a spell of a blue mystic with a dark aura and said "I equip Immortal Homeostasis on Karibon." The purple dark aura appears around Karibon as it struggles in the Gesalt Trap.
"Now he cannot be destroyed in battle." Crane explained "But sadly his fate is worse, now he serves as the architect of your loss. His original attack points have been altered and until they can finally be restored you suffer. 300 points a round, much like the ill-tempered dog who bites your hand. Whether you bring food or foul."
"Next I sacrifice Symmetry Rorschach." Crane continued as he does so and Rorschach forms into a purple ball and falls to the ground "And with that removed I can summon Ido the Supreme Magical Force." He plays a monster that looked to be made of magical energy coloured blue with yellow outlines resembling a large lizard with 2200 ATK points as it roars.
We see an AI Tutorial about Ido which reveals that it is a level 6 Dark Attribute Monster with 800 Defence points.
The Tutorial then explained "Whenever the Monster card Ido the Surpreme Magical Force is destroyed, it is resummoned to your field at the end of the turn."
Back in the spirit world, Lysithea gasps as the Immortal Homeostasis aura appears on Karibon for a bit. "Don't worry" She said.
Just then a shadow appears on them and they look up to see looking down on them was Ido who roars at them and Lysithea screams in fear.
Back to the duel Crane smirks and said "Even through Ido will be destroyed if I attack with him, he still returns to my field at the end of every turn. Of course, with him summoned though, no other monsters will be allowed on my field. A small price to pay."
Lysithea due to being in a trance doesn't respond. Concerned an audience member calls out "Wake up Lysithea!"
"She's just standing there!" Another audience member called out.
"Could this be it?!" Chris announces "Is she too scared to duel?!" Toffee watching this gives a small smirk.
With Grievous, Iroh, Caspar and Ashe, the white-haired boy looks to Caspar who has the same blank trance like expression Lysithea has. "Huh?" He pokes Caspar but there was no reaction "What's wrong?" He asked concerned.
On the field Crane then orders "Ido the Supreme Magical Force, attack Karibon and bring out Lysithea's Mark of Dragon"
Ido obeys and ask Karibon panics he is crushed and destroyed under Ido's foot.
In the spirit world Lysithea watches as Karibon just explodes and she shields herself but then Karibon reforms and glows purple
Shocked the girl cries out "No!"
In the real world indeed thanks to Immortal Homeostasis equipped onto him, Karibon wasn't destroyed and was brought back but Lysithea's life points go from 4000 to 1800.
Crane smiles and explained "Of course with Karibon still equipped with my little spell, he isn't destroyed by survives. And next round he'll be destroyed and survive again, and again until you give me what I need. Think Lysithea, think. Think about the Spirit World." In Luna's head his eyes still glowed and he smoke with that demonic voice "Think about what was revealed to you. Think about Bahamut the Platinum Dragon." His eyes behind his mask look more crazed "Think! Think! Think!"
In the Spirit World Lysithea sees the forest become darker and hears an insane laugh as Crane's voice or rather Scarecrow's voice spoke out from the forest, the shadows forming a silhouette of a figure of a man with a clawed hand standing behind Ido.
"Think!" Scarecrow said and yells out "Tell me about Bahamut the Platinum Dragon!"
Lysithea looks around worried and said "No! This world's supposed to be a safe place you can't harm me here!"
The branches of the trees separate, and Scarecrow's silhouette shields himself backing back into the shadows while Ido roars out and explodes being destroyed. Lysithea smiles at that but then gets worried as Ido reforms back to normal.
"But…but how did that happen?!" Lysithea asked confused.
Back in the real world Ido indeed was destroyed and reformed and if actually hearing her question Crane said smirking "Did you forget already? Ido returns to my field whenever it's destroyed" He chuckles "It's your turn Lysithea." He smirks under his mask "And don't neglect all the progress we've made."
"I draw" Lysithea said in her trance like state and draws a card.
"Remember you lose 300 points due to the effect of Immortal Homeostasis" Crane points out as it activates he adds "Perhaps this will jog your memory."
In the spirit world a purple aura hits Lysithea and she cries out in pain.
In the real world Lystihea's life points go down to 1500. Lystithea unfazed from her hand takes a level 4 monster card with a white unicom with a blue flaming mane with 1800 ATK and 1000 DEF.
"I summon my monster Sunlight Unicorn." Lysithea says and said monster appears from a blue blazing gallop. She then holds a spell card of a yellow horn saying "And now I equip Horn of the Unicorn on my Sunlight Unicorn."
As she plays it a yellow armored horn slides onto Sunlights horn and it forms into a large crystal like horn and ups Sunlight's attack to 2500.
Seeing this Crane under his mask glares and frowns as he thinks 'How is she fighting back? Who's giving her strength to resist Scarecrow's fear inducing hypnosis?!"
We then see Lysithea and Caspar both in the hypnosis like trance.
In the spirit world a blue blazing speed being comes down and lands right by the group. Lysithea screams but looks and sees it is Sunlight Unicorn with the Horn of the Unicorn spell equipped, this appearance made the shadow of Scarecrow to fully retreat and Ido to temporarily back off. He neighs greeting Lysithea.
"Sunlight Unicorn?" Lysithea said surprised and happy.
"Lysithea…" A female voice called out from the forest. "Lysithea..."
Lysithea gasped and asked "Who is it? Who's out there?"
"Lysithea…You have finally returned to fulfil your promise." The female voice said to her.
"What promise?" Lysithea asked confused
"To protect the Realm of the Dual Spirits from the forces of evil." The female voice tells her.
"But I'm just a little kid." Lysithea told the voice. "What can I do?"
"You can come with me." The female voice told her.
