T'Challa Voice: "I never yielded! And you can see...I am not dead!"
All jokes aside, I apologize to everyone who reads my shoddy trainwrecks of a story for the unfortunate and unintentional hiatus. A lot of things have happened in my life over the past few months (more negative than positive unfortunately), and I ended up having to take a break from writing fics for a while.
To keep things short, a few months ago my old laptop caught a virus that somehow erased and/or corrupted all of the chapters that I had already written out for both "Emerald Forest'' and "Emerald Island". The worst part about it was that I was only one chapter away from finishing the later. So as much as it pains me to say this, I'm going to have to rewrite all of those chapters from memory. However, there were a few things that I didn't totally like about the way that I went about wrapping up "Emerald Island" so I'll be taking the opportunity to make some much needed adjustments and hopefully get some input from the readers. The same goes for "Emerald Forest''.
I also moved and started a new job so my schedule has been pretty crazy since December. But, things have mellowed out to a point where I feel comfortable getting back in the swing of writing when I have the time.
It's been a few months since I've written anything down, so I apologize in advance if some of the newer updates aren't as good as the previous ones. But I will do my best to make sure that you guys enjoy them.
I plan on posting chapters again sometime in the next two weeks. But I felt like giving everyone a quick update seeing as how I've gotten a ton of messages on whether or not I'm okay. Which I am.
