~A Little Over One Year Ago~

Sasuke Unohana was far from an ordinary boy.

To everyone that knew him, they would say that he was the smartest person that they had ever met. To those who didn't, they would simply see him as nothing more than your average quirkless teenager. Just an unfortunate soul who wasn't granted a fantastical ability like the vast majority of those who were born into this world.

Unohana himself would be lying if said that those kinds of thoughts never affected him. Truthfully, they always did. It was the same line of thinking that caused him so much grief during his short life. The same kind of prejudices that made his parents abandon him in the middle of the woods when he was only four years old. Only a week after discovering that he was indeed quirkless. And the same kind of ammunition that the bastards at his school used to pick on him and make every single day a living hell.

Truth be told, Sasuke Unohana hated it. The universe had blessed him with an intellect that you would see only once in a generation. But the simple fact that he couldn't breathe fire or change his hair color at will somehow made him obsolete in society. He had a mind that put the majority of known IQ quirks to shame. One that never stopped working. But even that didn't matter since he still lacked a quirk.

Most quirkless people resented being born into the world of today. As one would rightfully suspect. And he was certainly no exception. Every single day, Unohana had to come home and see the other kids who lived with him bearing the very same burden that he did. And not a day went by where at least one person didn't walk through the door looking depressed and on the verge of doing the unthinkable.

Unohana had been there quite a few times. The multitude of self-inflicted scars along the length of both his arms was enough proof of that.

He knew that he shouldn't be doing it. He knew it all too well. And Kosai had voiced her concerns enough times that it would be impossible for him to pretend that he hadn't heard her. But he needed it. He needed some kind of relief. Something to keep him grounded when he was having a really bad day.

Unohana still remembered the first day he put a blade to his skin. It actually started out rather innocently. The boy was scrolling through his computer looking for ways to relieve stress. And just so happened to come across an internet forum full of people who said that it was a very effective method. He had his doubts at first. But something in his head told him to just give it a shot. And he foolishly chose to listen to whatever it was that compelled him to do it.

From that day on, it was like clockwork. He couldn't go a single week without putting a blade to his skin to calm his nerves. The feeling was so soothing that it almost felt therapeutic.

It was truly pathetic.

Someone like him doing something so insane just to keep himself from going crazy was just so pitiful that it was comical. But it was really all he had. The only other form of distraction that he found satisfaction in was conducting new experiments in the local park away from prying eyes.

The boy always loved chemistry. It was something that he took to like a fish to water. Searching for and cataloging new and exciting ways that different chemicals interacted with each other was so much fun for him. All of it just made so much sense that it was impossible for the boy not to try and test out new concoctions every now and then. Simply using everyday items that he could get at the convenience store and turning them into acid or sleeping gas simply fascinated him.

Of course he didn't enjoy cutting himself up like a cheap steak. But it was something that he needed. Especially during exceptionally rough days. However, today was not one of those days.

Oh no, today was one that even Unohana couldn't imagine happening. Why you may ask? Because it was the day that Rogue first approached him.

At first, Unohana didn't know what to think of the woman. As far as he could tell, she was just as unremarkable in the eyes of society as he was. But he couldn't have been more wrong about her. Apparently she had been watching him for a while. The news of a genius quirkless boy had reached her ears somehow and she wanted to see what he was all about. And it just so happened that she found him in the middle of one of his more dangerous experiments. One where he accidentally created a highly combustible solution that nearly burned down the surrounding trees before he was able to put the flames out.

When Rogue first made her offer, he really didn't know what to think.

Naturally, he thought that she was nothing more than a liar at first. But after hearing what she had to say, he knew that it was an opportunity that he couldn't pass up. The price she offered for his services would be enough to fund some of the experiments that he had been wanting to try out for quite some time now. As well as help out the kids at the orphanage. And after a lengthy conversation, the deal was done.

The weight of his actions only really hit Unohana by the time he made it home. But even then, he didn't find himself feeling as guilty as what he should've been. Actually, he didn't feel much of anything about it at all. He just agreed to make chemical weapons for a newly formed group of quirkless lunatics to make a quick buck. But he didn't feel bothered about it all. In fact, he was kind of excited.

Did this mean that he was some sort of sociopath? More than likely. As callous as this was of him to say, he didn't have much value for the lives of people he didn't care for. Especially the ones born with quirks. Sure, he knew that not everyone with a quirk was prejudiced towards his kind. But in his experience, the vast majority of them were. They never hesitated to cause him harm for their own amusement. So why should he? And if he could make some serious cash while getting to advance his knowledge of chemistry even further, then it was a win as far as he was concerned.

After all of the kids finished their dinner, Unohana was the one tasked with taking out the trash. Kanao and Kanae managed to get him to clean up their usual mess, but he didn't mind it very much. The pair of twins were the only kids who never seemed to be sad because of their lot in life. Probably because they always had each other at the end of the day. And it was hard not to be affected by the positive energy they poured whenever they were around.

Their situation was just as messed up as his. The twins' parents died in a villain attack last year, and none of their relatives wanted to take them in on account of them being "quirkless freaks". In spite of all that, he never once saw them sad. In truth, Sasuke Unohana was jealous of how happy they were. It was something that he knew he could never have.

Once he was finally done picking up the last of the garbage, the pink-eyed teen made his way over to the dumpsters. It was a short walk, and thankfully the weather had gotten better. It had been raining for most of the week and Unohana was glad that the moon was finally out for once. The boy was about halfway to his destination when a loud crashing sound made him jump back. And the sight of something in the shadows moving instantly put him on edge.

"Who's there!" Unohana called out in a nervous voice. "Hello?"

After a few seconds of no response, the quirkless teen decided to pull out his phone and flash his light in front of him. And what he saw truly threw him for a loop.

It was a person. A teenager around his age from the look of it. Sporting a white hoodie and trying to hide from him behind one of the dumpsters. He had wild green hair and freckles, and certainly looked like he had seen better days.

'Who the hell is this guy?' The quirkless teen wondered before speaking up. "Who are you?"

"I-I-I...I'm sorry!" The mystery boy stuttered. "I wasn't trying to sneak up on your or anything!"

"What are you doing back here?"

The boy nervously shifted where he was crouching as he tried to find a way to formulate a response. After a long pause, he finally chose to speak up. "I was...looking f-for some food."

"Huh?" Unohana blinked.

"I haven't really had anything to eat aside from a granola bar in the past few days. And well, I smelled some..."

Wow, this was certainly turning out to be one hell of a day. First it was his meeting with Rogue. Now he was staring some homeless kid in the face while he was in the middle of dumpster diving.

"I see..." The quirkless teen sighed. Part of him wanted to just try and get the kid away from the orphanage as soon as possible. But the pathetic look on the greenette's face somehow forced him to think otherwise. "Just...uh...wait here for a moment alright. There's still some leftovers in the kitchen. I can get you something, but it'll take me a few minutes."

Unohana didn't even bother waiting for the boy to respond before walking back into the building and grabbing a bowl of rice. Along with some bananas out of the kitchen. It only took him a couple of minutes to return to boy. And when he did, he handed him the meal with a semi-awkward smile on his face. The greenette briefly thanked him before nose-diving into the rice. Showing Unohana that he wasn't lying about not having eaten a proper meal in days.

"So...what's your name?"

"M-Midoriya...I-Izuku Midoriya." The boy replied in a meek tone.

"Well, I'm Sasuke Unohana. I guess I could say that it's nice to meet you, Midoriya-kun."

"Yeah..."

"Anyways, what's a guy like you doing rummaging through dumpsters at this hour? Are you homeless or something?"

The boy, now identified as Midoriya, was hesitant to give a proper explanation as to how he ended up in this predicament. But he decided to give the nice kid that just gave him his first proper meal in days an answer that should satisfy him. "I g-guess you could say that. I've been wandering around for a few weeks."

"Did your parents kick you out? I hear that happens quite a bit these days."

"No, I-I...ran away." Midoriya didn't know why, but he found it sort of easy to talk to Unohana. Maybe it was because he was being so nice to him. Which was the first time he could remember someone his age not being a complete asshole to him since he was four.

"Why would you do that?"

"I um...I just couldn't...I-I had to get away from the people around me."

There was obviously a lot more to what Midoriya was saying than he let on. But Unohana chose not to overstep his boundaries. "I can understand that. I feel like doing the same thing quite often."

"Really?"

"Yeah..." The quirkless boy nodded. "I would love to just get away from all the assholes in my school that make my life a living hell. Putting as much distance between them and myself sounds like a dream come true."

"You get bullied too?"

"Too?"

Midoriya's face quickly reddened and his hands were now flapping about in all different directions. "I'm so-sorry, Unohana-san. I...s-shouldn't have asked."

"Huh? So I guess you're in the same boat as me."

"I am..."

"Well, not exactly. You probably don't get harassed for not having a quirk."

"You're quirkless too!" Midoriya's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. "I've never met another person my age..."

Okay, now this had to be some strange twist of fate. Quirkless people as a whole were already hard enough to find as it. The fact that Midoriya was now sitting beside one, a kid his age nonetheless, was absolutely insane. The chances of this happening were about the same as trying to find a needle in a haystack the size of Japan.

"Well, how about that." Unohana slightly laughed. "If your life has been as bad as mine, which I'm assuming it has, then I can understand why you ran away from home. The world isn't exactly pleasant for people like us."

Once again, Midoriya was left staring at the boy beside him. This may have been the first time in his entire life that he ever talked to someone who actually understands him. Sure, he had just met Unohana. But judging by the way he spoke, it was clear that the pink-eyed teenager knew exactly what he was talking about.

Just as either boy was about to say something else, the sound of footsteps instantly caught their attention. They looked down the alley to see a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes making their way towards them.

"Sasuke-kun. Are you still out here?" She called out to him

"Yeah, Kosai-san. I'm here!" Unohana answered.

"Is something wrong? I asked the twins where ran off to an- oh, hello there." The woman now identified as Kosai said upon seeing Midoriya sitting next to the person that she was looking for.

"H-Hi..."

"And who might you be?"

"This is Midoriya-kun." Unohana explained. "He was rummaging through our trash trying to find something to eat. I didn't think it was a good idea to leave him alone like that, so I brought him some food from the kitchen."

"Is that where my bananas went?"

Unohana sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "Those were yours, sorry about that."

"It's fine." She waved off. "Anyways, are you alright, Midoriya-kun?"

"Y-yes ma'am."

"Hey, is it alright if Midoriya-kun stays here for the night? He could really use a place to sleep and shower."

"Huh?"

"Sasuke-kun, you very well that I can't just-"

"He's quirkless." The boy said flatly. Unohana knew very well that he shouldn't be spouting out people's personal info like that. But the idea of letting another quirkless teen like himself wander around at night didn't sit right with him. He may have had issues with most people, but not those that were like him.

"Oh." Kosai gave Midoriya an odd expression as she allowed her eyes to look the boy up and down. "I see... You ran away from home didn't you?"

"Yes, ma'am." The greenette admitted with a flushed face.

"Well, it certainly wouldn't be the first time we helped kids who needed to get away from their troubles for a while. As long as you promise to behave yourself, then I will allow it. The orphanage has more than enough space."

"Orphanage?"

"Oh yeah! I didn't tell you, did I?" Unohana smiled. "This building is actually an orphanage for quirkless kids.

"Seriously?!" Midoriya's eyes flew open in shock. This the first time he ever heard about a place like this.

"Yeah."

"Anyways, let's get Midoriya-kun inside so that he can clean himself up. I don't mean to sound rude, but you looked like you haven't bathed in quite a while."

As he tried to fight back the urge to cry right there on the spot, Midoriya gave the two a low bow. "Thank you! Thank you so much!"

"Don't mention it, dude." Unohana smiled.

As they made their way into the building, Midoriya felt a sense of relief wash over his shoulders. There were still quite a few things on his mind. Especially what happened during the encounter he had with that green haired girl from earlier. More specifically, the possibility that he might have somehow manifested a quirk. But for now, he simply decided to push that to the back of his mind for now. After all, he could still work all of that out later after he hot shower and a night of rest.

Little did Midoriya know, Sasuke Unohana would become the first person in a long time that he would ever be able to call his friend.

In the weeks following their absolutely disastrous weekend, things appeared to be looking up for the green haired couple.

For Midoriya, he still found it difficult to be in the presence of the former number one hero. But the fact that the man was mostly working with the third year students these days definitely helped ease his nerves quite a bit. The green haired boy knew that he should've gone to the man and apologized for his outburst. However, he still held quite a bit of resentment over the notion that he wasn't completely trusted. So for now, Midoriya wisely chose to keep his distance. Which seemed to be working out pretty well.

When it came to Tokage, the 'lizard tail splitter' user really toned down her usual antics. Much to the confusion of her classmates. Especially Yanagi, who the girl hadn't bothered a single time about what was going on concerning her friendship with Tokoyami. Although the green haired girl knew that something was going on between them, she decided to keep those thoughts to herself. Only focusing on her own relationship instead of others. Well...that is until Tetsutetsu dropped the bombshell on her that he was finally going to ask Kendou out on a date once the semester was over.

From there, it took everything in the girl's power not to completely take the wheel on that matter. But instead she simply chose to help her best friend out whenever he asked for advice. Which he so desperately needed.

The only semi-real issue that came up was when Tokage's birthday finally came around. Because her special day just so happened to fall on a school day this year, the young couple had to try and find a way to organize a date that weekend instead.

Surprisingly enough, Midoriya had gone through the trouble of organizing a surprise party for his girlfriend. And rest assured, Tokage greatly appreciated the effort. It was a nice and cozy affair. One that the entire class participated in. In fact, the green haired girl was so happy that she forced Midoriya into a rather steamy make out session right there on the spot. Which Shiozaki quickly shut down by tying Tokage to a chair and telling her to repent for her lustful acts.

But the real kicker was when Midoriya had gifted his girlfriend with a set of dinosaur-themed sweaters that she absolutely loved. Apparently, he got them for her when he went out on his excursion with Katsuragi. Who so graciously footed the bill for him. And it took everything in Tokage's power not to abandon her classmates and drag the 'telekinesis' user up to her room for a different kind of present.

All in all, the two were doing pretty good. All things considered.

Currently, the students of 1-B found themselves standing in the main conference room of the Blizzard Agency. It was a very special occasion for one of the top rescue agencies in all of Japan. And that was because it was Fubuki Katsuragi's twenty-fourth birthday.

As expected, Midoriya, Tokage and Yanagi were invited on account of being the green haired woman's interns. But they were also joined by Tetsutetsu, Tsunotori, Awase and Honenuki. Katsuragi had told them to bring some of their classmates along. And after asking around, these four were more than willing to join them for the festivities. Shiozaki and Kendou really wanted to go. But the orange haired girl was visiting her parents and the vine haired teen was going to some special church worship that she couldn't miss.

So for today, it was just the seven of them.

-(o)-

The energy around the agency was one of excitement and delight. Just as you would expect from an event such as this. The entire building was filled with heroes and staff members who currently worked under the number nine heroine. Along with a few notable heroes from around the country, such as Edgeshot and Ryukyu.

However, this was a very important day for the green haired pseudo-siblings for another reason. And that was because it was finally time for Midoriya and Inko to have a long overdue discussion with Katsuragi's parents.

Surprisingly, Midoriya wasn't as nervous about the whole situation as he thought that he would be. He was already told what to expect from his sister's parents. And after some reassurance that everything was going to be fine. He felt pretty confident about the whole thing. That was until the green haired boy found himself standing face-to-face with the two people in question.

Gojou and Vivianne Katsuragi carried an air about them that one would expect from people in their position. The kind that you could only feel when in the presence of those who were considered to be a part of "high society".

Gojou, Fubuki's father, was the Deputy Minister of Finance. One of the most important people in the Japanese government. He had a head of clean-cut black hair and striking orange eyes that seemed to bore into your soul when you looked into them.

Vivianne, her mother, was a well known fashion designer and businesswoman. She was a native of France. But moved to Japan during her college years and married her husband shortly after the two met. The woman had long, beautiful neon green hair and emerald eyes. Making it very obvious that Tatsumaki got her looks from her. Although she never ventured into the world of heroics, it was common knowledge that she was the one who designed the costumes for both Fubuki and Tatsumaki.

When the group first encountered each other in the main lobby of the building, there was a slight bit of tension surrounding them. The two adults wasted no time in sizing up the boy that was now in possession of their daughter's quirk. And Katsuragi was more than ready to jump in case something went wrong. But after they all exchanged greetings, that atmosphere quickly vanished behind a set of warm smiles.

"My goodness." Vivianne said in a surprised tone while looking Midoriya up and down. "Now that I get a good look at you, I can see why so many people think the way that they do."

"Indeed." Gojou nodded as he adjusted his thin-rimmed glasses. "You look so much like our daughters that it's almost scary."

"I agree." Said Inko in a joking tone. "The resemblance between Izuku and Fubuki-chan is uncanny. If he didn't have his father's freckles, even I'd start asking questions."

Vivianne couldn't help but laugh as well. "Yes, I've had a few of my colleagues ask me whether or not I had another child in secret. Why even some of Gojou's associates are beginning to think that he had another child outside of our marriage."

"Naturally I haven't given any of that tabloid nonsense the time of day. But it certainly doesn't help that I'm the one with 'psychokinetic' quirk." The man scoffed. Earning a few painfully awkward laughs from the group. "But no matter, Lily and Fubuki's 'PR Team' is on top of things. So as long as no one says anything reckless, we won't need to worry about any mishaps."

That seemed to be the general consensus among the group. The fact that people were beginning to think that Midoriya was some sort of secret love-child had been floating around ever since their internships during the second semester. And the tabloid articles on social media weren't exactly helping on that front. But since everyone had long agreed to pay them no mind, it was only a matter of time before that notion died down. At least, that's what Midoriya and Inko had been told by the number nine heroine.

Apparently, stories about heroes having secret relatives popped up all the time. There was even a rumor that Dabi from the 'League of Villains' was Endeavor's long lost cousin. Or something along those lines.

"But enough about that." Gojou spoke up. "We're here to get to know each other and celebrate our daughter's birthday. There's no need to concern ourselves with the words of shoddy journalism."

"I agree father." Katsuragi smiled. "Let's just enjoy ourselves and have a good time!"

With that, the group of greenettes and one raven-haired man made their way to the main conference room to meet up with the others. Ready to enjoy themselves and take part in the festivities.

"Wow!" Tokage gasped slightly while looking at a large present near the front of a nearby table. "I didn't know that Fubuki knew the Korean hero, G.E.N.O.S.."

At the moment, the green haired girl and rest of her friends were standing near the back wall of the conference room. The one where all of the gifts and fan letters had been stored until it was time to open them. They had been having a really good time so far. Everyone got the chance to mingle and talk to a few of the other heroes that worked at the agency. But the hero course hopefuls would be lying if they said that they didn't feel at least a little awkward being the only teenagers present.

"Mhmm." Lily nodded. "He spent a year as an exchange student while we were still at U.A.. Him and Fubuki-san were pretty close. They became friends after he accidentally burned some of her hair off in the middle of a training exercise."

"Cool." Yanagi stated in her trademark stoic tone. It still amazed her sometimes just how well connected her mentor was to people outside of Japan.

"Man...look at all these gifts." Awase whistled. "You could barely fit all this stuff in one of our rooms."

"Seriously! And I bet these things aren't cheap either!" Tetsutetsu agreed.

"You should've been there for Best Jeanist's birthday. You would've needed an entire truck to fit together all the gifts and fan mail he got." Said Edgeshot, who wasn't wearing his hero costume for once. Shocking most of the U.A. students who had never actually seen his face before.

"You wouldn't catch Endeavor doing something like this!" Ozehana laughed. The 'flame control' user was still wheelchair-bound these days. But had reached the point in her recovery where she was able to walk around for a few hours and do some light exercises without too much trouble. "The most he ever did was throw his yearly luncheon. And let me tell you, those things are a total snooze-fest!"

"That doesn't surprise me." The ninja hero chuckled. "At least Blizzard was kind enough to have an open bar."

"Speaking of which." Honenuki spoke up. "How's she holding up?"

"Just as well as you would expect." Lily smiled as she pointed over to the heroine in question.

Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the lobby...

"If you ask me, Izuku here is on his way to becoming a star hero! I bet it won't even take him a year to make it into the top ten!" The woman of the hour said to a group of her agency partners with a smile on her face. Only slightly drunk on the various forms of alcohol that people kept on giving to her. It was pretty obvious that she needed to slow down on the liquor. But everyone was having too much fun witnessing the rare pleasure of seeing their boss act like a sloppy college student.

"C'mon, onee-chan..." The red-faced Midoriya said with a slight chuckle. "That's a bit much, don't you think?"

"Of course not!" The green haired heroine beamed as she turned to face the group. "See how modest he is? You won't find that anywhere else! He's more talented than me and still acts like he's not the best student in his grade! Isn't it adorable?!"

This went on for another ten minutes before Katsuragi decided to leave the boy alone for a bit to go talk to some of the other party-goers. Which Midoriya was certainly thankful for. He didn't really mind being paraded around the party like a green haired trophy. The boy had already met pretty much everyone in the agency already anyway. But he was glad to finally get a break from all of the craziness and talk to his friends. Unfortunately for Midoriya, his brief respite came to a sudden end when he was approached by one of the other guests at the party. One he definitely wasn't expecting to talk to.

"So..." A female voice from behind Midoriya said in a haughty tone. "You're the famous younger brother that I've heard so much about."

The green haired boy quickly turned away from Tokage and Tetsutetsu and locked eyes with a woman he hadn't met before. She had a slender figure, but certainly wasn't lacking in the curves department. Along with wavy aqua-blue hair and emerald eyes similar to his own. It only took the boy a couple of seconds to recognize who he was talking to. "Oh, uh...hello. You're Psykos, right? The 'Telepathic Heroine'."

"Hmmm..." The woman folded her arms as she leaned forward. Seeming to appraise the boy where he stood. "To think that Fubuki-chan had a younger brother that she was hiding away all this time. And from what I've seen, you're just as strong as Tatsumaki-san. If I knew about this I would've tried to recruit over to my agency. That would've certainly frazzled her hair a bit."

"I'm sorry?" Midoriya gave the woman a confused look.

"What's her deal?" Tetsutetsu whispered to Tokage. Only getting a confused shrug from the green haired girl as a response.

"Well...it seems that my rival has finally unveiled her secret weapon to the world. A bold move, especially this early on. But I can see her motivations now that she's gotten into the top ten." The blue haired woman smirked.

"Wha-"

"Gyoro-chan!" Katsuragi suddenly appeared next to her brother. "I'm so glad that you could make it. It's been so long!"

"Indeed it has, Fubuki-chan. Thanks for inviting me!" Psykos a.k.a. Gyoro said with an obviously fake smile. "I was just getting myself acquainted with your younger brother here."

"I can see that. So...what were you two talking about?"

"Nothing major. I simply wanted to introduce myself. I am curious though, you never mentioned young Midoriya-kun when we still went to U.A.. Why is that?"

Katsuragi wasted no time in throwing her arm around the boy's shoulder and giving the blue haired woman her own fake smile. "Oh, he just didn't like everyone knowing that he had such awesome older sisters. He's not really big on being the center of attention."

"I see." Gyoro nodded.

'Oh, I get what's what's going here.' Tokage suppressed a giggle. 'Fubuki and this lady must have beef or something. She must've invited her to the party to get under her skin. I had no idea that Fubuki was so petty.'

Surprisingly, Tokage wasn't too far off the mark. Psykos was Katsuragi's self-proclaimed "rival" ever since their days at U.A.. The two had butt heads on more than one occasion while they were still students. Although the blue haired woman herself was in the top forty when it came to hero rankings. And her telepathic powers were a force to be reckoned with. She certainly wasn't happy to learn that she was bested by the 'psychokinetic' heroine.

'Women, I swear...' Tetsutetsu groaned internally while watching the two heroines face off in a staring contest. Thankful for the fact that it was Midoriya in the middle of this mess and not him.

~Later That Afternoon~

The party went on for another couple of hours before it was finally time to begin opening the presents. The group of heroes, students and parents wasted no time in gathering around the back wall of the conference room while the birthday girl began making her way through the pile. Everything seemed to be going perfectly fine until the doors opened. Catching nearly everyone's attention.

"Oh man, sorry I'm late everyone! I still have to get used to driving on the left side of the road." A new voice suddenly announced.

'Wait...' Katsuragi's heart nearly stopped as she immediately recognized the late arrival. Almost dropping the gift that she was holding in the process. 'It can't be...'

The woman quickly turned around. And sure enough, she was locking eyes with the one person on planet earth that she wasn't expecting to see here of all places.

Standing right in front of the door was a man that Midoriya and the others didn't immediately recognize. He was around 175 centimetres tall with a slender frame. Sporting a pair of blue jeans and a red hoodie. He had a pretty plain appearance as far as today's standards go. However, his most defining feature was his perfectly shaved head.

'Who's this guy?' Tokage thought. From what she could tell from the accent, the guy was a foreigner. More than likely an American. But he obviously had at least some Japanese blood in him.

"Hey, Fubuki! Long time no see, huh?" The man spoke.

'I feel like I know this guy from somewhere.' The green haired boy thought. Trying his best to remember how he knew this bald newcomer. Maybe he was someone that Tatsumaki was acquainted with?

Across the room, Pony Tsunotori was having similar thoughts. 'I've definitely seen this guy before. But I can't remember from where.'

Midoriya shot a quick glance over to his sister and was stunned by what he saw. Instead of her usually calm and elegant demeanor, Katsuragi was practically paralyzed. And to top it all off, her face was red enough to put even some of his blushing spells to shame. Honestly, if there was ever a case to prove that the two of them truly were siblings then this would be prime evidence.

"Onee-cha-"

"W-wha...wha...what are you d-d-doing here?!" The woman somehow managed to sputter out while pointing her index finger at him.

Towards the other end of the table, Lily was doing her best not to start laughing at what she was seeing. She knew that she should've told her best friend about this unexpected surprise sooner. But the opportunity to catch Katsuragi on her heels was too good to pass up. Not only that, but even Psykos had a slight smirk on her lips. Although no one could see it from where she was sitting.

"I'm actually on vacation right now. I heard about you making it into the top ten this time around and thought that I'd drop by and say hello. Lily invited me." The man answered casually.

What happened next truly caught everyone off guard.

"I-I can't b-believe that you're actually here, Steven..."

*Thud*

"Boss!" A few of the Blizzard Agency heroes shouted.

"Fubuki!" Ozehana followed.

"Onee-chan!"

Fubuki Katsuragi, the number nine heroine of Japan. In all her glory, in front of all her agency partners, friends and family...fainted. Dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes. Thankfully, Midoriya was there to catch her in his arms before her head could hit the floor.

"Hey, hey, Onee-chan! Are you alright?!" The boy asked nervously. Only to receive nothing but silence.

"Onee-chan?" The man said with a curious tone of voice. "Since when does Fubuki have a little brother?"

While some of the other party-goers were trying to help out the guest of honor, Tokage and Yanagi looked to Lily for some type of explanation as to what was going on.

"Hey, who is that guy?" The grey haired girl asked as she watched one of the heroes fan the green haired woman off with a paper plate.

"That is Steven Ito, also known as 'Impact'." The 'bone spur' quirk user replied. "He's an American hero who was an exchange student at U.A. during our time there."

"And I'm guessing that Fubuki is absolutely head over heels for the guy based on how she reacted to seeing him." Tokage gave a hushed laugh. Seriously, with what she just witnessed she was having doubts about Katsuragi and her boyfriend not being actual siblings.

"Like you wouldn't believe..."

"You said that he's a hero, right?" Yanagi then asked while looking around for Tsunotori. "Is he popular over there?"

"Not really. He prefers to stay out of the limelight. And for good reason too."

"What do you mean?"

Lily's eyes darted in between the two girls before giving them a slight smirk. "Try to keep this between us but...in my opinion, he's probably the only person alive that could take on All Might in his prime...and walk away the victor."

Now that certainly wasn't the kind of statement that one could make lightly. The former number one hero was practically a force of nature back in his heyday. Anyone who could warrant such praise had to be nothing short of a monster themselves.

As she looked the bald headed man up and down, Tokage tried to see if there was any indication as to what he was all about. But there wasn't anything about him that stood out to her, except for one thing. There was something about the man's aura that just radiated pure and absolute power. The last time she felt anything like this was when she met Mirio Togata for the first time. But this was on a completely different level. Something told Tokage that the last thing she ever wanted was to get into a fight with this guy.

Across the room, the 'psychokinesis' quirk user's parents were rather enjoying the scene of their daughter turning into a fumbling mess at the mere sight of one man.

"So...that must be the boy that Tatsumaki told us about." Gojou Katsuragi said while sipping a glass of whine.

"Yes." Vivianne affirmed. "He's rather dull looking. But based on the rumors that I've heard about him, we'd be lucky if our daughter manages to convince him to marry her in the near future. If she does, then maybe we'll actually get some grandchildren before we're old."

Inko, who was halfway through her own glass of wine, simply laughed at the comical display that she just witnessed. "Ah, to be young and in love."

'Oh god, Miruko and the others are going to love hearing about this.' Ryukyu thought with a grin.

~A Few Days Later~

By the time Monday came around, the students of 1-A had the privilege of taking part in a special training session organized by Present Mic.

From what they had been told by Aizawa, the purpose of this class was to familiarize them with interacting with the media. A valuable skill that the students knew they were going to need by the time they officially became pros. Naturally, some of the students groaned at the prospect of sitting in a chair for an extended period of time listening to some reporter ask them random questions. But most of them were genuinely interested in experiencing this kind of thing. Well, most of them except for a certain blonde haired teenager.

To say that Katsuki Bakugou was having a shitty time would be the understatement of the year.

The 'explosion' quirk user had long reached his wits end about how things had gone for him this school year. And today was no different.

Not only was he totally not on board with having to take part in this nonsense. But he made the mistake of voicing his opinion out loud to the rest of the class. Which resulted in one of his classmates, the round-faced brunette, having the audacity to tell him to "shut up and stop causing a racket".

If this had been the start of the year, something like that would've normally caused the ashe blonde teen to blow her ass up into a million pieces. However, Bakugou was already on thin ice with Aizawa. And the last thing he wanted right now was to receive yet another lecture about his attitude. He still found it weird how the lazy-ass 'eraser' quirk user suddenly found the motivation to actually do his job and teach his students. But that was a topic for another day.

So now, here he was. Forced to sit through some lame mock-interview with some weird reporter lady. One from the "Shoowaysha Publishing Company" if he remembered correctly. A complete waste of time in his opinion. Why bother doing shitty tasks like this when he could be in one of the training areas blowing shit up to his heart's content?

Despite his internal protest, Bakugou simply accepted his fate and went along with this nonsense.

After the invisible girl, whatever her name was, came back into the class it was finally his turn. Bakugou lazily made his way to the designated room and wasted no time sitting in the open chair across from the reporter. Where some blue-skinned chick with raccoon eyes and purple hair, Chotiose Kizuki, was waiting on him. He was still having trouble remembering people's names. Especially ones that he didn't really care about. But during his counseling sessions with Hound Dog, he begrudgingly promised to make an effort to pay attention to that kind of shit.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Katsuki Bakugou. I'm Chotiose Kizuki, it's a pleasure to meet you!" The blue-skinned woman greeted him with a smile and a cheery tone. One that rubbed the 'explosion' quirk user the wrong way for some reason.

"Whatever…let's just get this over with." Bakugou huffed out and crossed his arms.

The woman simply kept up her creepy smile. "My, my, you'll never get a girlfriend with that attitude. But nowadays people do love the whole rebel/bad-boy routine."

"Sure they do..."

"You know young man...out of everyone in your class you're one of the students that I wanted to talk to the most."

"And why is that?" Bakugou raised an eyebrow upon hearing this. Not that it surprised him. He was Katsuki Bakugou after all. Of course this lady would want to meet him.

"I did a bit of research on everyone of the first year students before coming here. And aside from Izuku Midoriya and Shouto Todoroki, you have quite the interesting story." Kizuki explained.

Bakugou wanted to say something smart about some woman he didn't know snooping in on his personal life. Or how she had the nerve to consider him less interesting than that villain Deku or Half-and-Half. But he knew that Aizawa was going to be questioning her later on about how all of his students acted during this mock-interview. And he was already under the microscope enough as it is.

"A stellar student dating back even to your days in elementary school. Top spot on the notoriously difficult U.A. entrance exam. And first place in the first year's Sports Festival. Some people say that you're one of the most talented up and coming heroes to come out of this school in a while."

"Of course I am."

"And of course, you've made headlines quite a few times. Although under rather...unfortunate circumstances. The whole 'Sludge Villain' incident where you were saved by none other than your very own teacher, All Might. And that nasty business with the 'League of Villains' has a lot of people interested in you."

The ashen blonde gritted his teeth slightly at the fact that his most embarrassing moments all happened to make national news at one point or another. Seriously, it was like the universe enjoyed making a fool out of him whenever it got the chance.

"Now, normally I would just ask you a bunch of pre-written questions to give you a feel for what media relations are like for when you undoubtedly become a top ranked pro hero. But I would like to switch things up a bit, if you don't mind?" The woman continued.

"Explain..."

"This may be jumping the gun a bit by a few years. But what would you say if I floated you the idea of allowing my company to handle all of your P.R.? After you become a pro hero of course. I like to think that I have an excellent eye for talent, and young prospects like you don't come around very often. My group does the P.R. for quite a few heroes and I think you'd be a perfect fit with us."

"Is this some kind of joke?" The boy scowled while arching an eyebrow.

"Not at all." Kizuki replied. "It's not unheard of for heroes to strike deals with businesses while they're still in school. Why, Uwabami and Miruko already had fashion lines set up the day they graduated school and officially went pro. Of course I don't expect you to give me an answer right away. But working alongside me and my team would do wonders for your image. There's no doubt in my mind that you have a real chance at claiming the spot of number one hero in the not-too-distant future. And I'm simply trying to get the jump on all the offers that will surely come your way. I'm also a bit biased since our quirks are rather similar in how they function."

Admittedly, it was hard for Bakugou not to feel the least bit good about himself after hearing all the bullshit praise that this woman was trying to give him. She was right to assume that it was only a matter of time before he would claim the spot of number one hero. But even he knew that it would be foolish to not at least entertain this blue-skinned snake. From what he knew, not only did Kizuki run a major media/publishing company, she had lucrative deals with a few well known heroes around the country. At least, that's what Present Mic briefly mentioned before the class started.

"I'll think about it." Was the 'explosion' quirk user's short reply.

On the inside, Kizuki was rubbing her hands at how things were going so far...

'My people at Aldera were right on the money with this brat. All he cares about is becoming rich and famous. He'll be a tough nut to crack, but convincing him to join us should be a piece of cake. I just need to praise him and his quirk a bit more, then he'll be eating out of the palm of my hand.' The woman tried her hardest to suppress a smirk. 'Too bad for him that my main goal is that Midoriya boy. A powerhouse like him, on top of possibly being an illegitimate child of the Katsuragi family, makes him too good of a possible asset to pass up given the chance. But if I can snag this psychotic chump as a consolation prize for Re-Destro then it will still be a win.'

"Excellent! Anyways, let's save all that for after we get done with these questions." The blue skinned woman then said with a clap of her hands as she pulled out some pen and paper.

"Alright…." Bakugou answered matter-of-factly.

"Now Bakugou-kun, you strike me as a rather well-read individual. Do you enjoy reading? If so, what kind of books and genres pique your interest the most?"

"Not really. I don't read books very often. I'd rather spend my time training."

"Oh really? Well if you're ever interested in getting started, I have quite a few recommendations for you. Some of them are sure to be of great value to a future star such as yourself."

"Like what?" The 'explosion' quirk user humored her.

"There are quite a few that come to mind. But my company has recently started distributing a rather interesting piece that I think you will find to your liking. Have you ever heard of...'Meta Liberation War'?"

Omake:

Contrary to popular belief, the afterlife wasn't some sort of fiery hellscape or clouded paradise filled with angels.

No, that wasn't the case at all. In actuality, it was more like a giant resort filled with every amenity and luxury one could even think of. People from all walks of life whether they be hero, villain or even the local mailman now had the opportunity to spend the rest of eternity having fun and enjoying themselves. And the best part was that every person had their own room. One that contained a pocket dimension that they could mold into whatever they wanted.

It was in one of these rooms where the former number four heroine of Japan, Tatsumaki Katsuragi, was enjoying a nice mid-afternoon meal with one Nana Shimura. Both of whom were sitting at a table watching the events of their universe unfold on a massive flat-screen television. All with an absolute tantalizing spread of assorted foods, snacks and drinks to keep them in good spirits.

"So...what are the chances this blue-skinned bitch convinces that Baka-gou idiot to join her group?" Tatsumaki asked the former 'One for All' wielder in her trademark brattish tone while floating above the ground.

The two ladies had met shortly after the green haired woman kicked the bucket and found herself wandering around the resort. After a long discussion and Shimura apologizing for her untimely demise at the hands of her mortal enemy, the two became fast friends. Spending most of their time bonding over how well their respective successors seemed to be doing.

"I give it a good thirty percent." Shimura said in between sips of her tea. "He's still bottling up his frustrations and I don't think it would take much to convince him. All she needs is to stroke his ego to make it work."

Truth be told, the raven-haired woman was glad to be watching something other than the nonsense that had been surrounding little Tenko, Yagi and Togata recently.

Although she could understand where her successor was coming from. Yagi's paranoia concerning "All for One'', along with Nighteye's apparent fanaticism, was only going to put him in an early grave. Or at least an earlier one than he was no doubt going to find himself in soon. Truth be told, the former 'One for All' wielder was planning to have a nice long chat with her student when they finally saw each other again.

"Yeah, that sounds about right." Tatsumaki agreed.

Just as either heroine was about to change topics, a woman with moss-green hair and matching eyes made her way over to the table.

"Sasame, so glad you could join us today!" Shimura greeted her friend. Who just so happened to be the now deceased mother of Setsuna and Nanao Tokage. "How's Nanao doing?"

"She's still trying to seduce the Unohana boy." Sasame sighed. "Honestly...I don't know why she has such bad luck with men. It's like she's cursed or something."

Neither of the other two women were going to argue that point. Although Tatsumaki found it absolutely hilarious how the elder Tokage sibling managed to take an interest in a quirkless terrorist. One that just so happened to be best buddies with her successor. She knew better than to voice those thoughts around the girl's mother. Which mostly centered on trying to figure out how the little nerd still hadn't figured out that his first friend in years was the one behind the bombings.

"What about Urie?"

"Much better these days. I'm glad that he and Nemuri are finally together. It took him so long to get over my death that I was beginning to think that he'd be alone for the rest of his life." Sasame smiled as she looked at the two women. "So, did you guys watch the birthday party?"

"Naturally."

"That sister of yours is absolutely head over heels for that American boy, isn't she?"

"Hmph!" Tatsumaki pouted. "That stupid brat! I don't care if that annoying baldie does live on the other side of the planet. She should just confess her feelings and get it over with already. Watching her turn into a fumbling mess like that was embarrassing."

The other two women couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Let's just be glad that Izuku and Setsuna haven't had any problems. They haven't fully recovered from the nonsense of a few weeks ago, but at least they're relationship is still going strong."

"If you ask me, the little nerd went too easy on that muscle bound jackass! He should've thrown him out the nearest window for all the shit he's put him through. No offense." Tatsumaki apologized to Shimura.

"None taken."

"Moving on..." The 'psychokinesis' user looked over to Sasame. "How long do you think it will take before Setsuna finally caves in and mounts the little nerd? I don't think she can hold out any longer."

Sasame tapped her chin in thought for a few moments before answering. "I give it a couple months at the most. Setsuna's been reading a lot more ero-manga lately and she's about to hit her breaking point. I just hope that Izuku is ready for it. We Tokage women aren't exactly known for...holding back."

The group of ladies simply laughed at that. Even though they were all dead now, watching how their loved ones lives unfolded was just way too much fun.

"Hey, you ladies want to head over to the race track? A few of the Iida boys are finally having their big showdown and young Tenya is looking to take his grandfather's title."

"Sounds good to me!" Shimura shrugged.

"Who knew all it took for Tensei's little brother to finally loosen up was to kick the bucket? The brat's actually pretty fun to hang out with now that he's not stiff as a damn board all the damn time." Tatsumaki began flying towards the door while holding two different types of candy apples in her hands.

And with that, the trio of ladies headed out. Ready to enjoy what was sure to be a good time.

A/N: Well, it's finally happened! Saitama (or my rip-off character) has finally made his long awaited appearance. As well as another character from the OPM manga. If you're not familiar with her, Psykos is one of Tatsumaki's biggest enemies in that series. But I had to tweak her character a bit to fit into this story. I originally had her taking on Shinsou as a student after the time skip. But I might change that depending on how I feel. Hope you guys enjoyed these cameos.

1. We finally get the backstory on how Midoriya and Unohana first met. Which is something I forgot to add during the 'Derelicta' arc. It's just something to let you guys into the mind of "Nitro" and his motivations for doing what he did. How that plays into the end of the story, I'll let you guys try and figure it out.

2. Well, Bakugou is now in the sights of the MLA. How do you guys think that will pan out? We'll be getting a lot more of 1-A next chapter. But for now, I'll just let your imaginations run wild.

3. In regard to that omake at the end of the chapter, I read a Naruto fanfic that has a few of those in its chapters. And it just seemed like a fun idea to add in at the end. I just thought that it would be funny to imagine if Tatsumaki and Nana Shimura crossed paths with each other in the afterlife. That's really all there is to it. And I never really got the chance to introduce Tokage's mother into the story. This just seemed like a cool way to do it.

Like always, thanks for reading and don't be afraid to leave a comment/review! And have a wonderful day!
