"You know what…I think I might have overdone it….." Midoriya said to himself as he stood in front of the aftermath of what turned out to be his final attack. Directly in front of him was a fully unconscious Katsuki Bakugou lying in the middle of a fifteen-meter-wide crater.
Overall, the fight was short. Not even lasting a full five minutes if the 'telekinesis' user had to guess. However, the end result was undeniable.
'I didn't even use "Gravity Well" to its full extent either.' The boy thought as he slowly approached the edge of the massive hole left by the attack. In truth, Midoriya had only used a quarter of his maximum strength to perform his new ultimate move. Which was apparently still enough to cause a significant amount of damage to the surrounding area.
"Gravity Well", a move that Fubuki had devised after reading some of Midoriya's notes on psycho-waves, focused all of his quirk's power into a confined area by way of a downward force directed at his target. In theory, it could be used as a form of crowd control to keep a large group of villains in one place to stop them from escaping. However, when directed at a single person, the attack had enough power to instantly render them unconscious.
Midoriya would be lying if he said that he didn't feel a bit disappointed though. He doesn't know why, but the greenette was expecting this fight to be more…exciting. In reality, it was little more than a light workout. And even that assessment was being awfully generous.
As if on cue, the voice of Midnight came on over the intercom. "Midoriya-kun is the winner!"
'I guess it doesn't really matter. I won, that's what's really important.' The boy thought as he began walking towards the exit. 'Hopefully, this will be enough to finally get Bakugou off of my back.'
"Midoriya-kun, you're free to go. Please remember to drop your suit off in the classroom before returning to your dorm. Vlad will speak to you about the results of this match tomorrow after class."
Midoriya simply gave the woman a thumbs-up as he continued walking. Not even bothering to take a second look at his former bully as the medical droids rushed to go collect Bakugou from his newfound resting place before carting him off to the infirmary. Now that all this was over, he could finally head back to his room and enjoy a nice hot shower.

[Observation Tower]
"Well, that was a lot shorter than I expected it to be." Majima chuckled as the faculty reviewed the footage of the fight. "The whole thing only lasted four and a half minutes."
"I guess the kid's got a new ultimate move, huh?" Snipe looked to Kan for confirmation.
All Kan could do was shrug. "I guess so. I've never seen him do anything like that before. I'll have to ask him about it tomorrow."
As the teachers began an in-depth discussion about the events of the fight, Nezu was silently going over the details in his head. The unidentified mammal was genuinely surprised to see such a display of power from the young man. The fact that Midoriya was able to achieve such mastery over his quirk after only having it for only a little over a year was remarkable. To say that the boy was this talented with a quirk that wasn't originally his would be putting it mildly. Actually, being talented might not even be a proper way to describe it.
'This must be why All for One gave him Tornado's quirk. He must've known that Midoriya-kun would be able to make good use of it. I dare say that as he is now, the boy would be able to function as a sidekick at a top hero agency. How wonderful! I'll be sure to add this to my notes later.'
"So, what's my prize?" Lunch Rush happily asked after waving a slip of paper in the air for all the other staff members to see. True to form, the school's head chef accurately predicted the outcome of the fight. Betting that it would be a resounding victory for Midoriya before the five-minute mark.
"Damn!" Snipe cursed as he crumpled up his submission before tossing it into the garbage without even bothering to look at the trash can. "I was sure that they'd go for at least ten minutes."
"Congratulations Ueda-kun, you get three extra paid days off next semester!" Nezu happily said to the cook-themed hero. "Just make sure that you submit your time-off form two weeks in advance."
"Hell yeah!"
"Man…I could've really used those days off." Thirteen snapped their fingers. They should've known better than to try and bet on the underdog this time around.
"In any case, thank you all for showing up today! These student challenges are always fun to watch. You're all free to go home for the day. Aizawa-kun, Inui-kun, and Hakamada-kun, let's go over to my office. It's time that we discuss Bakugou-kun's future at this school. I already told his parents that they should be expecting a call from us before sundown."
"Fine…" Aizawa lazily groaned as everyone began filing out of the monitor room. The 'erasure' quirk user was certainly not looking forward to what was about to happen next. All he wanted to do was get this over with as soon as possible.
~Thirty Minutes Later~
"Everyone, he's back!" Tetsutesu shouted as soon as Midoriya walked into the 1-B dorm.
The boy wasn't even able to make it three steps into the building before he was immediately hounded by the majority of his classmates. For a brief moment, Midoriya was surprised by all of the attention that he was suddenly getting. But the boy managed to calm himself down just enough to handle to onslaught of questions that came his way.
"Did you really fight Bakugou?"
"What the hell happened?!"
"I didn't even know that student challenges were a thing!"
"You kicked his ass, right?!"
"Are you okay?"
"Why didn't the teachers let us watch the fight?"
"Everyone shut the hell up!" Tokage shouted after forcing her way through the crowd and placing herself at her boyfriend's side. The girl spent the next few seconds inspecting his body to make sure that he didn't have any bruises or other injuries. But much to her surprise, Midoriya looked perfectly fine. "So…you won, right?"
"Was there ever any doubt?" Midoriya replied with a confident smile.
The entirety of class 1-B then moved over to the common area to continue their discussion. Naturally, everyone was curious about what had transpired during the fight. After all, it wasn't every day that two students got permission to just duke it out for bragging rights. So they all wanted to know every detail of what happened. Fortunately for them, Midoriya had no issue in giving them the rundown of what happened back in Training Ground Beta.
"-And that's pretty much it." Midoriya casually said after recanting everything he could remember from the fight. A few of the students had their mouths agape after listening to the entire story.
"Wait!" Kamakiri was the first to speak up. "So that's the new move that you've been working on these last few weeks? This "Simple Domain" thing?"
"Yeah." Midoriya nodded in response.
"So while you have that activated no one can touch you? At all?"
"Pretty much."
"Can you show us?" Kendou then asked.
Midoriya seemed to think about it for a second before giving the girl a nod. He didn't really see a problem with showing his classmates what he could do. They were going to see it in action anyway. The boy then stood up and walked over to the space between the common area and the kitchen. Once he was ready, Midoriya proceeded to tell Shishida and Kodai to find something to throw at him. The two seemed unsure of it for a second but decided to simply do as the boy said. The black-haired girl then picked up a nearby pen while the glasses-wearing boy grabbed an empty cup off the coffee table. The two students then threw their respective objects right at Midoriya's head.
The class looked on in amazement as the two objects paused mid-air only a few centimeters from Midoriya's face. True to how he explained it, there was essentially an invisible wall stopping them from moving any further.
"Can you do that?" Shoda asked Yanagi.
"Yeah." The 'poltergeist' user nodded in affirmation. "I can't extend it out as far as Izuku can, but it works the same way."
"Man…now I kind of feel bad for Bakugou. Since all of his attacks require physical contact it was basically a no-win situation for him." Monoma said while admiring Midoriya's technique.
"Well, I sure as hell don't!" Tokage folded her arms in disgust. "It's what he gets for being a dickhead."
"Setsuna, language!" Shiozaki admonished her classmate.
"Sorry."
"I'm more curious about this "Gravity Well" move you told us about." Honenuki said while trying to poke Midoriya's arm. Only for his finger to be repelled by the invisible wall around the boy's body. "I don't know what kind of wild ultimate move your sister invented, but it sounds like an ace in the whole."
Midoriya chuckled. "It's really only supposed to be used for crowd control. I don't think it's a good idea to try and use it on a single person again. It's stronger than what I thought it would be."
"Shit, as long as you don't use it on me then that's all that matters!" Awase joked while patting the air on top of Midoriya's back.
The class then fell into a discussion about the new moves that some of the students were working on. None of them were too keen on the idea of Midoriya showing them all up, so they were now a bit more motivated to try and come up with something spectacular. A few of them even started making bets on who would be the first to punch through the boy's "Simple Domain". Needless to say, Midoriya had a bright future of being the class's new training dummy ahead of him. Not that he really minded all that much.
While that was going on a devious idea suddenly popped into Tokage's head. This was the perfect time to play a fun little prank on her boyfriend now that he was the center of everyone's attention. It had been a while since she created a bit of mischief at the boy's expense and now was as good a time as ever to do it. On top of that, she was still feeling a bit frisky at the moment. So this was a good way to kill two birds with one stone.
Just as Monoma was about to reveal the basics a new super move that he had been working on a loud shriek, courtesy of Shiozaki, caught everyone's attention.
"Setsuna, what in heaven's name are you doing?!" The vine-harried teen said with a look of pure shock on her face.
Everyone quickly turned their heads to where the girl was standing only to be absolutely stupefied by what they were looking at.
There, standing right in the middle of the room, was Tokage sporting a satisfied smile on her face. The girl was holding Midoriya's arm up to her chest while the boy's hand was placed firmly on top of her right breast. The girl had a firm enough grip on him to make sure that the boy couldn't easily pull away from her.
"What?" Tokage asked as if this was the most normal thing in the world. "Sometimes a girl just wants to get her boobs felt up. Stop being weird, Ibara!"
"Wha- You- Why would-" Shiozaki struggled to get her words out as the vine-haired teen began to feel lightheaded. Such an obvious display of impropriety was too much for her pure heart to handle.
"Besides, this is pretty normal for the two of us. Hell, we've already seen each other naked. So it's not really that big of a deal."
Midoriya was too stunned to say anything. The boy simply stood there with a face as red as freshly picked tomatoes as his brain tried to catch up to what was happening.
"I fucking knew it!" Tsuburaba suddenly shouted with a smile on his face. The 'solid air' quirk user then looked right at Shoda before holding his hand out in the boy's direction. "I told you they were already having sex! Give me my damn money! You too Komori!"
"Awe man…" Komori sighed as she fished her wallet out of her pocket. "I thought they'd at least wait until the end of the second semester."
"I believe that you owe me two thousand yen, Kodai-chan." Monoan looked at the 'size' quirk user with his victorious grin. Kodai just rolled her eyes before silently handing over the money she owed her classmate.
"Hey, what the hell?!" Tokage scowled at the rest of the group. "You assholes were making bets on me?"
"Of course!" Tsubaraba said as he waved his newfound riches in the air. "Half the class had money on when you guys were finally going to do the deed."
"Are you serious?"
The rest of the 1-B students pretended to be ignorant of the topic of conversation, Tetsutetsu included. It didn't work though. Just like Tsuburaba had said, half of them had indeed started several betting pools over when the green-haired couple was going to start engaging in adult activities. Although only a few of them had put money on the line. The rest of them agreed to exchange small favors like doing each other's homework and taking care of chores around the dorm.
Tokage didn't know why, but she felt a bit offended at this. First of all, she still had yet to actually do the deed with her boyfriend. Which by itself was annoying to think about. But the fact that so many people were so confident that she should have already done it really grated on her nerves for some reason. On top of that, how dare they do that kind of stuff behind her back? They could've at least had the decency to include her in their bets. Weren't they supposed to be friends?
The girl quickly decided that she had to hurry up and get some petty revenge on someone to make up for all of this. After all, it was only fair. And unfortunately for Sen Kaibara, he was the one who just so happened to be directly in Tokage's line of sight. Which meant that he would have to be her first victim.
"I don't see why you guys are so worried about our sex life when Kaibara…" Tokage then pointed at the 'gyrate' quirk user. "Has been sleeping with half the girls in the damn school!"
"Wait, really?" Midoriya finally snapped back to reality after hearing that. This was news to him. He knew Kaibara was popular among the girls, but he didn't know his classmate was getting down like that.
"What?!" Kaibara looked genuinely shocked at the accusation. "N-no I haven't! That's a lie!"
"Oh please..." Tokage waved off while placing her arm on Midoriya's shoulder for support. "Don't even try to hide it, dude, everyone already knows."
Kaibara began scanning the room to gauge the reactions of his fellow classmates. However, nearly all of the 1-B students gave the boy a series of unimpressed glares. The kind of glares that immediately let him know that whatever lie he was about to spit out wasn't going to work.
"What? How-"
"Setsuna-chan's right." Honeneki placed his hand on Kaibara's shoulder while doing his best to suppress his laughter. The lipless teen was thoroughly enjoying the sudden shenanigans. "We all know, man."
"H-how?"
"We overheard some of the girls in 2-B talking about you in the restroom during lunch a week after we moved into the dorms." Komori was the first to explain. "And they certainly weren't holding back on the details."
"Plus we've seen you sneaking out of the dorms every Friday night after curfew." Kuroiro added.
"Then there was that one time we saw you coming out of the 3-C dorm on our way to breakfast." Kendou was the next to speak up.
"Oh yeah!" Monoma interjected with a devious cackle. "We can't forget about the time we caught you and Furasu-san from the support course making out in the hallway behind the cafeteria."
"You really do a terrible job at hiding it." Fukidashi's speech bubble spelled out. "Like, horribly bad. It's almost like you want to get caught."
"It makes sense though." Tokage shrugged with an evil grin. "He's good looking and his quirk has a lot of utility in the bedroom."
'Wow…he really does get around.' Midoriya silently thought to himself.
A now fully red-faced Kaibara once again looked at his classmates in disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. The 'gyrate' quirk user thought he had done a pretty good job at keeping his extracurricular activities a secret from his classmates. But the fact that everyone in the class knew about what he got up to in his free time embarrassed him to no end. Kaibara then glanced over to Shiozaki. The vine-haired girl simply shook her head at the boy, all while silently mouthing the word "sinner" in his direction.
Hoping to quickly get away from all of this unwanted attention, Kaibara then lashed out at his classmates. "You know what…fuck you guys! Stay out of my damn business! I'm going to my room, leave me alone!"
The class watched as the boy shoved his hands into his pockets and made a beeline straight for the elevator.
"He's right!" Tokage then shouted as she grabbed Midoriya's hand and began pulling her boyfriend toward the staircase. "We don't have to stand for this uncouth invasion of privacy. C'mon Izuku, we're leaving!"
"Okay…" The boy just looked at the girl with pure confusion plastered all over his face.
Once the three students were gone, everyone looked around at each other with a myriad of different expressions on their faces.
"What the hell just happened?" Yanagi asked the question that seemed to be on everyone's mind. Only to receive a series of confused shrugs in response.
"Never a dull moment, huh?" Bondo said before everyone decided to just go about their business.
~Two Days Later~
"In our latest story out of Tokyo, there has been a major shakeup in the media and entertainment world." The newscaster said with a picture-perfect smile on her face as she continued to read off of the teleprompter. "As of this morning, 25-year-old Ayame Shimisu has been named the new CEO of Feel Good Inc. following the sudden death of her uncle, Tomoyasu Chikazoku, during the events of the attack in Deika City just last week."
"You've got to be fucking kidding me…" Sasuke Unohana stared at the television with a look of utter disbelief on his face.
"Tomoyasu Chikazoku, the founder of Feel Good Inc., had been at the helm of the company for nearly three decades and was widely regarded as a visionary in the industry. His work in music, film, and television was often commended as some of the best in the business. In his will, Chikazoku entrusted his entire estate to his niece. Which included all of his personal properties, assets, and his majority stake in Feel Good Inc.
Shimisu, a graduate of Chiba University, is Chikazoku's only living relative. According to the company's spokesman, the relationship with her uncle was kept a secret in order to protect her identity and allow her to live a normal life until it was time for her to assume an official role within the company. In spite of this, Shimisu was swiftly appointed to the top position by Feel Good Inc.'s board of directors at seven o'clock this morning."
"I can't believe this shit…." Unohana leaned forward in his seat as the footage of the press conference which ended only minutes ago played on the screen. "Her, really?"
"You know her or something?" Nanao asked the quirkless teen with a curious look on her face.
"Yeah…I do…." The boy absentmindedly responded while still keeping his focus on the conference.
'She's kinda pretty.' Nanao thought to herself as she turned her gaze toward the television. 'And she's the new CEO of that big media company? How does Sasuke know her? Fuck man, I can't compete with that! What the hell?!'
-(o)-
"It is with a heavy heart that I step into this role." Ayame Shimisu, also known as "Rogue", said to the crowd of reporters in front of her. Her long brown hair was tied into a neat ponytail at the back of her head and she was sporting a red pantsuit. The woman elected to keep the scar on her cheek exposed despite some of her subordinates suggesting to hide it. "My uncle was not just a mentor but a guiding force in my life, one that I will always treasure. And I intend to honor his legacy and continue to push Feel Good Inc. to new heights."
Naturally, Shimisu's unexpected rise to the position has sparked intrigue within both the music industry and corporate circles. Unfortunately, none of them were aware of the true circumstances regarding the woman's newfound power.
The story about Rogue being Skpetic's secret niece was a complete and total lie. A fabrication made up to keep her position as legitimate as possible and to ensure that no one asked any unnecessary questions. In reality, the young leader of Derlicta had coerced Skeptic into changing his will only minutes before killing him in the bottom level of her secret hideout. Leaving her as the sole heir of one of Japan's most influential digital media companies.
Not only that, but thanks to the bloody outcome of the battle with the League of Villains, several seats of the Feel Good Inc.'s board were free for the taking. All of which were swiftly filled by a few other members of Derlicta that Rogue trusted to help her maintain her power.
In all honesty, Rogue never planned for this to happen. She was perfectly content with just killing Skeptic and allowing his company to fall into disarray. It was what the quirk supremacist deserved after all. However, a brief moment of inspiration was all that was needed for her to come up with this plan. And the results were much more lucrative than she could've hoped.
Now that Rogue and her partners in Derlicata had the influence of Feel Good Inc. under their belt, the scope of their crusade had dramatically increased. Now, they could spread their message to a much wider audience and reach out to those who needed to hear their message. And what better way to do that than with a company that controls a significant portion of all the music and television in the country? The possibilities were now endless.
Sure, there was going to be a rough adjustment period moving forward. The woman was a complete novice when it came to running a multi-billion yen corporation after all. However, Rogue wasn't much too concerned about that. She already had the children of the remaining board members in her custody, so those old fools were more than willing to ensure that the company maintained its position in order to keep their families safe. So for now, she had all the time she needed to learn the ropes before killing them all and replacing them with her own people.
As Rogue walked out of the press conference, the brunette woman pulled her burner phone out of her suit pocket and dialed a certain number. The device rang a few times before being picked up on the other end.
-(o)-
"What do you want?" Unohana impatiently asked the woman after briefly stepping out of Nanao's apartment.
"I take it you already saw the news?" Rogue asked with a noticeable hint of smugness in her voice.
"I did." The quirkless genius replied. "Now, answer my question."
"I'm sure you may have already guessed this, but with my newfound position I now have a considerable amount of money at my disposal."
"What of it?"
"I have a proposition for you, my dear Nitro. One that I think you'll find very enticing."
Unohana paused for a moment before answering. Something was telling him that he should hang up the phone right now and just go back inside. But a small, irritating part of him was genuinely curious about what the woman was about to say. And unfortunately for the quirkless teen, that annoying curiosity got the better of him.
"Okay…let's hear it."
"What if I told you that we're looking to rapidly expand our operations? And that we'll need someone to help facilitate my partner's demands on a large scale."
"What exactly are you offering?"
As Unohana listened to what Rogue had to say the boy's eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Part of him had to wonder if this was all some sort of crazy dream.
"I-I'll think a-about it." The boy then replied in a shaky voice as he tried to keep his composure.
"You do that." Rogue said while still maintaining the same smug tone from before. "I'll be expecting an answer by the end of the month. Until then, have a good day, Nitro!"
The call immediately ended after that, leaving Unohana to ponder over what just happened. It took a good thirty seconds for the boy to regain his composure before his brain was finally able to start working properly again.
"Everything okay?" Nanao suddenly peeked her head out of the door to check up on the boy.
Unohana gave the elder Tokage sibling a confident smile and thumbs up. "Yeah…all good."
"Good, good…" The woman then grabbed the boy's hand and began pulling him back inside the apartment. "Anyways…come back inside, I have something special that I want to show you!"
"What is it?"
A devious smile suddenly appeared on Nanao's face. "I'll give you a hint. It's in my room, and it requires you to take your pants off!"
A furious shade of red suddenly formed on Unohana's face as the boy nervously looked around to see if anyone was close enough to hear that. "Nanao!"
A/N: A new chapter this early? Even I'm surprised. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this one. Don't expect any more updates for a while. I'm going to be focusing on school a bit more so I won't have a lot of time to write the next chapter for the next couple of weeks.
1. For those of you who are wondering, Lunch Rush's real name was never revealed in the story. So, I just used the name of his Japanese VA as a substitute. I kind of wish that Horikoshi expanded on the staff members of UA a bit more before he finished his story. There's some pretty cool lore about Lunch Rush that genuinely has me curious about his character. Not many people can feed a full-course French meal to ten thousand victims of a typhoon on their own. Snipe too. All we know is that he's a third-year teacher. But I'm a bit biased since I'm a gun enthusiast myself.
2. All-Might wasn't present for the fight between Midoriya and Bakugou. He was with Togata and Nighteye doing something that will be revealed later on.
3. I saw no point in dragging out the end of the fight between Midoriya and Bakugou. We all knew what was about to happen. If anything, the fight lasted longer than it was supposed to.
4. Bakugou's fate will be revealed next chapter. I won't go into too much detail right now, but let's just say that he's about to have one hell of a parent-teacher conference. Stay tuned!
5. Like I said, there's going to be a lot more fluff and shenanigans for 1-B moving forward. This chapter was just a taste of what was to come. Now that the Midoriya/Bakugou beef is effectively over we can finally start dying down before the timeskip. Which may or may not happen in four(ish) chapters. Maybe…
6. We finally get to see the direction of Derelicta/Unohana's role in the story moving forward. Now that Rogue has pulled off a wild power play, her group will be making some big gains in a very short amount of time. I originally had something else planned for their group, but this makes the post-time skip stuff easier to write. That's when we'll get to see the details of the deal that Rogue proposed to Unohana during that time.
7. I just randomly picked Kaibara to be the focus of this chapter's shenanigans. He doesn't really get a lot of love in the fandom, so I thought it would be fun to give him some time to shine. Plus, his character design kind of reminds me of my coworker. Let me know what other students/teachers/characters you want to see get a bit of the limelight in the story. I love fleshing out the 1-B guys whenever I get the chance.
Anyways, like always thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this dumpster fire of a story. Feel free to leave a comment/review if you want. I actually enjoy reading your guys' thoughts and they keep me motivated to keep writing this thing. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
