Title: Barbecue Weather

Author: badly-knitted

Characters: Jack, Ianto, the Team & Ianto's family.

Rating: G

Spoilers: Nada.

Summary: Everyone's gathered for a barbecue: what could go wrong?

Disclaimer: I don't own Torchwood, or the characters.

A/N: For the prompt 'Where There's Smoke, There's Barbecue', one of the prompts I didn't get around to using for tw100's challenge 288 last year. I've dug them out again to supplement the prompts I got from my f-list, just because there are still loads I wanted to use.

Wanderer: Ch. 498 - As far as I know, the Hub is not specifically under the Milennium Centre, but starts out beneath Mermaid Quay and most likely extends under the whole of the docklands area, built deep enough underground that the foundations of new buildings don't reach it. If you remember in CoE (can't believe I'm using THAT as an example) when Jack blows up in the Hub, it leaves a massive crater in the Plass.

Ch. 513 - I think that's a safe assumption. Owen's very much a city boy.

Thank you!

SV: So do I, Spock is one of my all time favourite characters, I grew up watching the first run of the Original Star Trek Series in the UK, but this is a chance to publically show that Ianto Jones, five years on, is still one of the most beloved characters ever. The Radio Times is Britain's premier TV listings magazine, it's the BBC's TV magazine (used to just list BBC TV programmes while the TV Times listed programmes on what were then independent TV channels (the ones with the adverts). What better way to draw attention to the popularity of one Ianto Jones, archivist and Coffee King? He's losing at the moment though.

Thank you!

It was a glorious summer day; hot and sunny, cloudless blue sky, and a light breeze keeping the heat from becoming stifling. The perfect weather for a barbecue, according to Jack.

So here they all were, in Jack and Ianto's back garden; the team and their significant others plus Ianto's family, sipping iced drinks while the kids played. Jack and Rhys were handling the cooking, until they got into a heated debate over rugby versus Jack's new obsession: American Football…

Ianto did his best to rescue the meat and disperse the smoke; he hoped everyone liked their steaks well done!
