Chapter three

AN. So I know i haven't updated this story in a very long time, but thanks for the review. And sorry for the very late update. Idk why I haven't undated in so long so pls don't get pissed at me.

After Orochimaru left some Anbu members found Menma. "He was here!" One of the anbu members shouted.

They looked at Menma and then kept on their search for Orochimaru.

Went all the anbu members left Menma awoke from her unconscious state. "What the fuck happened". Then She remembered the fight she had with Orochimaru.

"That fucking asshole!". Menma tried to get up but fell right back down. "Shit," she thought. "I can't walk I used almost all my chakra and I still got my ass beat". She sighed and laid back down.

She pulled out a scroll, "At least I always come prepared". She places her hand down on the seal the chakra from the seal going into her, replenishing her chakra. Menma gets up, "There we go all better". She stretches her limbs hearing some pops as she cracks her limbs.

"Now to go and find the others". With that Menma takes off to find the rest of her team.

Meanwhile with the other members of Team Seven.

"where's Menma is been hours and she still isn't back!". Sakura said in her mind. She was getting a bit frustrated and nervous. It's been about three hours since Menma told her to take Naruto and Sasuke and get out. Then a team of sound-nin appeared. (AN Since I can't write fight scenes and make them good. I'm just gonna follow canon for this part, so this is after the fight with the sound team. And Susuke's awakened curse mark state).

"So where's Menma? "Shikamaru asked. "I don't know the last time I saw her she was fighting with the ninja named Orochimaru". Sakura said worry in her voice

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow "Orochimaru? U mean the Legendary Sannin Orochimaru". Into looked at him

"U know who that is?". She asked wondering who that was.

Shikamaru sighs "Yes Orochimaru the snake Sannin he a rouge ninja after lord third caught him doing illegal experiments". Sakura gasps, "But how he and Menma were talking they sounded like they knew each other".

"What?!" Shikamaru shouted. 'Menma a traitor' he thought as he looked at Sakura.

"How were they talking" Shikamaru asked Sakura. "She was very angry at him yelling at him and asking why he was there, and after he said why she yelled at me to get Naruto and Sasuke and run", Sakura explained.

Just then Naruto woke up "What happened" he said groggy. Everyone turned to him "Naruto ur finally up!" Sakura walked to him.

"Well since Naruto's up we'll take ur leave," Shikamaru said. Getting up, Ino and Choji do the same.

With team 8 left, Naruto looked around "What happened and where's Menma?". Sakura didn't know what to say she was still thinking over Shikamaru's words.

Timeskip

After Sasuke and Naruto woke up they left to find Menma "U still haven't told me what happened." Naruto was a little pissed off at Sakura for not saying what happened to Menma. After all, Menma was the only other Uzumaki besides Naruto, and he wanted to make sure that she was ok.

"Naruto shut up." Susuke's voice was cold but had a hint of worry. He and Menma never had the greatest relationship, waiting for no scratch that his and her relationship was nonexistent. It was obvious that she had some type of hateful opinion of him. The feeling was pretty mutual through they didn't talk to each other, and she always had something too smug to say about him every time he tried to talk to her. But he knew how much Menma meant to Naurto, so he decided to help look for her.

After searching for about an hour Sakura spoke up. "We don't have that much time left to find the earth scroll."

"We can't just leave Menma!" Naruto shouts out. "Naruto." Susuke said looking sternly at Naruto.

"Sakura's right we don't have that much more time to waste-." "The hell do you mean by waste!" Naruto shouted. "I'm not leaving Menma behind, you two look for the scroll I'll search for Menma."

With a tick appearing on Susuke's forehead, he said. "No Naruto you can't just leave. You're not in the right mind to look, and who knows what you're going to encounter."

"I don't care I'm not leaving her!"

"Hey, y'all!"

They all turned back to see who said that, but by the y'all they all already knew who it was. "Menma!"

Naruto immediately went over to Menma. "Where were you we were looking for you everywhere!" "Naruto calm down I'm fine."

Menma was not fine, on her way to find her team she got ambushed. Luckily she was able to use her shadow clones to trick them and steal their scroll. But she noticed the look Sakura was giving her. "Sakura you good? Why are you just staring at me?"

"Oh! Sorry, Menma I just.." Sakura didn't know what to think anymore. Shikamaru's words replayed over and over in her head. 'yes Orochimaru the snake Sannin a rouge ninja after lord third caught him doing illegal experiments.'

"Oh yeah, I got this," Menma said while pulling out a scroll. "How did you get that?!" They all shouted. "While I was looking for y'all a team ambushed me, but I was able to trick them and get their scroll," Menma said while grinning.

They were all shocked, then finally after what felt like an hour, Susuke spoke up. "Ok, so now that we have both scrolls we can finally make it to the tower." They all nodded and made their way to the tower.

AN. So now that this chapter is finished, I'm gonna try to post weekly to make up for my hiatus of 5 months. Every wednesday is the new posting date, at least I'm gonna try to post every Wednesday. Thx for the follow haileyiker543. Also AN are gonna be bolded, and I'm just now getting used to more of the FF features. So for the next couple of chapters is most likey gonna look a little different.
