It was a simple question, right? It restrained itself from a yes or no response. And as soon as he asked it, it left me paralyzed with only one answer: yes. Ironically, I didn't even manage to utter it out, though it was the first thing that crossed my mind as soon as the words slipped out his mouth.

"Go out with me?" Was it a question? Or was it a statement? "Go out with me." I suppose it was a statement. And before I answered what I thought was a question, he left. Just like that. He turned around and left, but not before smiling at me; and as he was turning around I was able to depict the rosiness that was lightly brushed on his cheeks.

I was laying hopelessly on my bed, and he was turning around not wanting to let me say my answer first. As if it was final that I'd go out with him. I slightly made an attempt to get up of the bed and go after him, but the sudden burn in my stomach impelled me not to. I let out a soft shriek, and I fell back on my bed flatly. I held my stomach and hissed. If I wasn't so indulged in diminishing the pain on my stomach, I would've noticed Eddie scramble his way back to the room. He was immediately at my side, not having a single clue of where to grasp me. He frowned as I continued clutching my stomach, and a pout followed as he felt useless from not being able to help me stop the affliction on my abdomen.

"Are you okay?"

"Um," I nodded quickly, and flinched as sitting up on my bed was a challenge itself. I leaned on the wooden frame and controlled my haste breathing. "Yeah." I smiled reassuringly, but his frown never faded. Moments after the pain extinguished completely, Eddie sighed and chuckled lightly. I furrowed my eyebrows in bewilderment; a gentle smile appeared and he delicately took a hold of my free hand. He stroked the back of my hand softly, and I observed how his cheeks were marked with a pink pigment, again.

"So…" I began.

"So…" He hummed.

I bit my lips, and he continued giving my hand feather-like touches. He cleared his throat, dispersing away my thoughts, and looked at me fixatedly.

"So I'll pick you up at 8?"

"Is that a question?"

"It could be if you want it to… I mean, you do have a choice of going out with me. It could also be a statement, but I don't want you to get the impression that I'm a controlling asshole who needs to get things done his way."

"Yes."

"What?"

"Yes, pick me up at 8."

"Ye-Thank-That's-"I held back my giggles as he tried to find the right words to say, and I was intrigued by his reaction. He wanted to smile, but he held back his excitement. He slowly stood up, not letting go of my hand yet. Eddie smiled, and lightly pressed his lips against my forehead.

"I have to go." He stated aggravatingly. I nodded, and I reluctantly let of his hand. "So I'll see you at 8?"

"Without a doubt I will be here."

"Hm, what should I expect on this date of ours?" Eddie's smile brightened and he looked up thoughtfully. "Would a thousand roses, dinner on top of a terrace and a set of violin players be too much?"

"A thousand roses? I think that most of the roses you sent me for Valentines are still inside my school…"

"That doesn't matter. I'll buy a thousand more."

"I'll probably drown in them."

"I'll save you then."

"That sounds nice… a thousand roses."

He chuckled, and I smiled. "Alright, Loren. I'll see you at 8."

"Bye."

Eddie turned around and I watched his back. I clutched the covers and bit my lip to stop my smile. As soon as he left, I grabbed a pillow, pressed it on my face, and my screams of whatever were muffled.

"Loren?"

The pillow fell on my lap, and I watched Eddie smirk on the doorway as I sat abashed.

"Hi." I said inaudibly.

"Hi." His smirk broadened. I twitched, and he crossed his arms. "Do you need something, Eddie?"

"No," He responded playfully. I avoided his gaze, and pressed my lips together. I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment. "What are you still doing here?" I muttered.

"I just wanted to tell you to wear something comfortable for tonight…"

"Where are we going again?"

"You'll see." I soughed, and shrugged. "Bye."

"You're kicking me out now?"

"No. But bye."

"If I laugh would you kick me out then?"

"Metaphorically, yes, but only with words. Literally, no. I would die before I get to you anyways."

"So-"

"Bye, Eddie."

"Bye, Ba-By." He purposely sounded of the syllables, and I blinked twice before processing what he just said. "Wait. What did you-"

"Bye-bye."

And he left. I sighed, and looked at the clock. 3. I groaned, but a smile resurfaced. First date… this will be good.

Filler chapter. I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long. I know this chapter sucks and doesn't really have anything but Leddie interaction. I promise that next chapter I'll get everything moving and into the next plot. I promise. Okay, so long. No song for this chapter. It was rushed okay.
