Hey everyone. Sorry for the late post. I've been sick the last couple of weeks, but I've recovered enough to publish this chapter.
Also, after this chapter, we'll be moving away from Dryfe, and Crescent, for a little while and exploring some other characters.

Chapter 15 – Into the Ruins Pt.3
Inside the Ruins
Crescent and her party had been making surprising progress going down into the ruins. Mainly thanks to their newest addition, Chrono Crown.
Ruby had always wondered what it would be like to be a big sister. If what she felt when she saw Chrono grinning from ear to ear when he got head pats or cuddles from Wotan, she could almost understand why Yang gushed over her so much.
It was just too adorable how he would in less time than it took her to blink, jump out of the baby harness Wotan had equipped, shred slimes into drops, and then jump back in for head pats.
The way he bragged about how great he was and puffed out his chest just made her want to take him home with her and keep him as her official little brother.
…with Yang and Dad's approval. Of course.
She definitely didn't want to kidnap anyone.
Definitely.
Suddenly, a thought popped into her head. One she simply couldn't resist.
She took out a cookie from her inventory and offered it to Chrono who was trying to keep Wotan's arms wrapped around him.
"Wanna cookie?" she asked him, a faint smile forming on her face.
"Sure." He smiled with a gooey grin on his face.
She stopped the sweet treat just out of his reach, "Can you call me big sis Crescent."
"Sure, big sis Crescent."
As he said that, the words echoed in her mind, something deep within her mind – within her very soul – awoken.
As he took the cookie, she took him and Wotan within her power suit-clad embrace.
"We. Are. Keeping. Him." Crescent said grinning ear to ear.

Somewhere else in the Ruins
As 4-Leaf was delivering an impressive amount of damage with his sword while Doctor Green Egg was unleashing spells that would have counted for a Mage job's ultimate skill he suddenly froze in place.
"Did Ty just get another kid?" he asked completely confused at what he was sensing.
"4-Leaf, I find the very notion highly improbable, and even more improbable is the idea that you would be able to sense it while we are in a virtual world." DGE explained, "Now focus on tanking these slimes so I can keep casting." Without waiting for a response three books flew from the small bookshelf floating over his shoulder opening to release three copies of the ultimate skill of the King of Blaze Superior Job: Fixed Star.
"Also," he continued, "you should be more concerned with what you let your Embryo buy when you were drunk and left it with all your money in a weapon shop." He said indicting 4-Leaf's Embryo who was committing what would have been a war crime to the slimes if slimes were people and monsters still left bodies when they died as the two-toned cat Embryo dual-wielded flaming chainsaw nun chucks to an almost mythical level of precision.
Maybe I should stop watching those anime things my nieces keep recommending. I think they're starting to affect Phouka. He mildly wondered.

Somewhere in Legendaria
"Prominence Wave!" a massive wave of flames burst forth colliding like the waves at sea during a maelstrom but against jagged black thorns made of curses instead of jagged rocks.
In a contrasting display raging conflagrations of white-hot intense slashes repeatedly collided with obsidian briers that appeared to have grown from the blackest, starless, of nights.
"Curse Zone Entangle!" her opponent intoned as a field of dark energy seemed to encase them. The ultimate skill of the Sorcerer Grouping's Superior Job enhanced the effects of her already potent debuffs even further.
In Infinite Dendrogram, there was no such thing as complete immunity to damage or debuffs, simply such high resistance that it was functional immunity.
Amid the clash between burning flames and bone-chilling thorns, the mistress of the flames, a woman in a yellow mistrallian dress with hair alight like the sun…suddenly stopped, her blade a hair's breathed from the princess of the brier, wrapped in her accursed thorns like an iron maiden.
Blinking she asked, "Did I just get another cute little sibling?"
Completely confused by this, the woman in the briers did what any gamer would do, and stabbed her in the back with a thorn vine giving her the death penalty.
"That was one of the weirder PVPs I've had." Said the Curse Princess.

Somewhere in The Kingdom of Altar
In a bar just outside the capital of Altea, a hulking figure of a man was thrown through the glass window at the front of the bar landing outside it.
His body was heavily burned and sections of him were no longer there.
Just as he hit the ground with a crack, his body began to disappear into particles of light.
On the inside of the bar, it appeared as if several explosions had gone off with very few of the tables or chairs still not turned into splinters.
Similar to the man outside, there were several bits and pieces of bodies, none of them whole, disappearing into particles of light.
In the center of it was a fit muscular man with a golden mane, his arms wrapped in golden thread so tightly that not a fleck of skin or a single hair was visible on his arms.
An Assassin who had been concealing himself chose the perceived moment of laxed guard to strike only to feel his ribs break in three places at once before each place ruptured in three simultaneous places turning him into meat confetti.
The man with the golden armbands walked towards the leader of the clan Rider's High who was cowering in the corner.
"You should have just let me get my drink and I would have been on my way." Leo Glory glared.
Lifting the sabertoothed man by his collar, the man with the golden-wrapped arms, suddenly dropped him.
His face went blank with complete and utter confusion, "Did I just get another kid?"
Not wanting to answer the question, Saber Tooth scurried away.

Back in the ruins
JAnz looked at the scene in front of her and couldn't help but feel her eyebrow twitching. While she had learned that Chrono couldn't use his Embryo's abilities without keeping his hands on those pocket watches. If he needed to attack by some other means than kicking/slashing he used Gems gripped between his fingers wrapped around the pocket watches.
The pockets in his jacket were probably inventories.
If not for the fact the tiny terror had made it abundantly clear they needed him to even survive in this gods-be-damned place, she would have PK'd him the moment he started lounging in the baby harness.
However, as she was looking at the scene, and Kelly was taking pics that she could view IRL for some reason, she saw a small slime approaching the hugging trio…only for it to freeze solid…instantly.
As she watched a small, but growing tendril of ice make its way across the tunnel floor.
Having already loaded one of her exploding rounds, JAnz fired at the tendril. Causing the tunnel beyond to light up showing numerous already frozen slimes.
"Something's freezing the area, we need to leave!" she shouted snapping the hugging trio out of their reverie and alerting them to the potential danger.
Now that they could see the encroaching ice, it was clear it was time to leave.
/-/
As they ran, they found several openings connecting various tunnels that were carved/blasted through the walls where other Masters were running out of.
"At least we know we're running in the right direction," Kelly stated from her perch on Crescent's back next to JAnz and Chrono.
The latter most of whom was pouting like a spoiled child.
Apparently, he hadn't liked the idea of his new big sister Wotan transforming into her energy cape form.
Despite moving relatively fast, though probably slow by Chrono's standards, several Masters were caught by the creeping freeze nearly instantly being frozen and leaving, in some cases, horrified ice sculptures.
Infinite Dendrogram had several binding debuffs but the ones universally loathed were those that left Masters unable to move or even react. Because of the mental protections Masters had, they were never affected by mental debuffs, well their actual minds anyway, but for those under the effect of [Freezing], it might mean they couldn't see, hear, or experience any other senses.
On top of being unable to move a muscle.
That was why she saw several of the sculptures burst into motes of light and…dropped a lot of lir and random items.
Typically, when a Master got the death penalty, they dropped some lir and a couple of random items. However, when a Master used the suicide function, they dropped way more.
Part of her wanted to go back and get all of the good loot. She saw more than a few items she wanted…she also saw those items becoming increasingly covered in ice…so she could wait.
"Don't you have explosive bullets?" Chrono asked her, still looking like he missed being cuddled by Wotan. And while she could appreciate how impossibly soft the wolf/raven Maiden was, she still didn't like the twerp.
"Don't you have Gems with fire spells in them?"
"Not enough for all this." He shot back.
"And what makes you think I have enough bullets?"
"Just asking." He replied, "Unlike me, you can make your own ammunition."
"Well, I would have done it if I could. But I can't."
Before he could respond some idiot who was running next to them in what she could only describe as a weird ostrich-themed Halloween costume in which the person's legs were inside the ostrich's wearing it like a pair of overalls chimed in. "Would you two just make out already? It's clear you like each other."
Without any form of signal or even looking at each other JAnz shot his left leg while Chrono used a fire Gem to blast his right.
As the man fell and was subsequently frozen solid, the dark blue-haired girl would give the rabbit wannabe one plus mark in her book.
But that was it.
"Does anyone have any MP Potions on them?"
"Don't you have some?"
"I drank them all after we shot our way out of the slime room."
JAnz looked to Kelly, who had left navigating to Crescent now that they had people to follow and were in the lit section of the tunnels, and to Chrono.
Both shook their heads.
"How much longer can you hold out?" she asked trying to calculate how fast the freezing creep was.
Thus far, they have been able to keep ahead of it.
They didn't need to be an AGI-focused build like Chrono, heck, she was a production/shooting-based build, and she was sure she could keep ahead of the creep. But low levels like Crescent and Kelly would have a harder time.
"About two minutes."
That wasn't good.
Getting agitated, she turned to the white-haired little terror, "Chrono, how many people can you carry?"
He looked at Crescent, or rather the energy cape that was Wotan. "I don't wanna."
A vein began forming on JAnz's forehead. "Listen you little brat, unless we do something, then most of us are going to get the death penalty."
90 seconds left.
"My STR isn't high enough to carry more than one person, and even then, I'm not sure I can do it."
"If you help us, I'll have Wotan cuddle you and eat cookies with you." Crescent offered causing the little shits eyes to start sparkling.
"Even if I wanted to", he began blushing a little, "I can't maintain a good speed with all the twists and turns in the tunnels."
That was true. The little shit usually fought in open areas. A narrow space like the tunnels would be hard for him to move in.
"So does anyone have a plan?" Kelly asked eyeing the creeping frost that was still flowing them nervously.
One of the Masters who had been running in front of them slowed down and got frozen.
60 seconds.
That was another thing to worry about; [Exhaustion].
In a game this real, getting physically exhausted was a thing.
Now JAnz wished it was one of those games where the characters could run endlessly.
"Well, unless someone comes up with a plan we're in trouble." She shouted in exasperation.
Suddenly a giant cyclone of wind burst up encapsulating them.
Chrono for his part, used a Gem with a barrier spell stored in it to protect everyone from damage as they were blasted all the way to above the ruins. Spinning and twirling like a leaf in a hurricane…which they kind of were.
Thanks to Crescent using all of her thrusters and probably what was left of her MP, they landed safely next to a green-haired man.
The trio on top of the power suit rolled off.
"Good…plan…" Kelly wheezed, her heart, like JAnz, was probably still somewhere in her throat.
What even was that?
/-/
A few moments before Crescent landed
4-Leaf and his Embryo pried their respective faces out of the ground from the craters the two had made when Doctor Green Egg had given them their impromptu lessons in flying.
"Remind me again, why couldn't we use the giant burrowing worm?" he asked half glaring at his alleged friend. He also noticed out of the corner of his eye that Phouka had drawn a poison-coated dagger from his inventory.
Yeah, this was his Embryo alright.
"Unfortunately, I could neither bring it out without crushing us nor would I have been able to get it operational before it started to freeze." The green-haired man said taking a moment to clean his glasses.
One of these days, I'm going to break his glasses.
As he thought that, a mech suit carrying three people landed on him.
While Superiors often have stats that put them above and beyond normal Masters or tians, even for stats their jobs or Embryo did not boost but simply increase due to leveling up, none of that matters if said Superior is both distracted and semi-immobile due to being half buried into the ground.
The energy cape coming out of the mech suit spoke, "Master, I think we've landed on a homeless person."
/-/
Like someone who just realized they stepped in gum, Crescent tried to shuffle/step out of the way…while accidentally stepping on the man's head a few times all while saying "Sorry."
For some reason, there was a green-haired guy who sort of reminded Crescent of one of her professors laughing at the situation.
"Yeah, keep it up, Poindexter." The 'homeless man' said as he pried himself out and off of the ground.
"And you." He said leveling his finger at Crescent. Who may or may not have "Eep!" louder than she would have liked.
"I'm sorry."
"Watch where you're going." He said before turning his head with a confused expression on his face.
Following his gaze, Crescent saw Wotan had returned to her Maiden form, was equipped with an already Chrono-stocked baby harness, and was cradling a large black and white cat.
Who was very much enjoying having their tummy rubbed if its purring was any indicator?
When and how did she do that so quickly?
Before she could voice such questions, the ground began to shake.
"What now?" the mint-colored man asked.
As if responding to his question the ground began to shake even more violently before ice began to burst from the hole in the ground she and her party had come out of.
Several people took steps back. Those that didn't were quickly turned into ice sculptures.
Many of them fell over and broke due to the shaking.
And then…a red comet the size of an Atlesian Paladin burst from the ground before large shards of ice began to form and rotate around it like an asteroid belt as the glowing red light was soon encased in a thick ice shell.
However many were more focused on what was floating above the ball of ice.
Frozen Star, Crimson Nova
It was the first UBM Crescent had ever seen.
She felt herself shaking, her mind flashing back to a certain cat faunus only to feel Wotan's warmth as her energy cape wrapped around her.
She calmed down and what was perturbation began to shift to excitement. The kind of burning in her chest all gamers got when they came across an enemy they had never fought but knew would give a good drop.
As if by some unknown signal, attacks began to rain on the UBM. Several of which were from Crescent's rifle.
The green-haired man with glasses beside her manifested three books before unleashing what looked like the ultimate skill for fire, lightning, and light-based Mage Superior Jobs.
Spells, missiles, a wide assortment of bullets, spikes, cannon balls, and just about every sort of ammunition were fired at the UBM.
However, any attack that was energy such as fire or lighting seemed to be… drawn into the core.
Everything else just seemed to be unable to break through the veil of ice shards rotating around the UBM.
A few close-range combatants with high AGI tried to get close to Crimson Nova only to be flash-frozen and shatter.
"Hmmm." The green-haired man mused before speaking into a ring that amplified his voice for everyone to hear, "It seems to have the sole abilities of levitation and a range of near-perfect heat synchronization capable of flash freezing just about anything within a set range. If I had to estimate I would say that anything within 20 metels of it would be exposed to a minimum of −196 °C with it more than likely being even colder the closer one is to the core. And that is on top of the further 30 metel range beyond that that induces a freezing effect."
"Unusual to see a Legendary UBM with such specialized skills, but not unheard of."
"And all of that means?" the man with the sword asked what everyone was wondering.
Speaking into the ring again, "It means that it absorbs any form of heat. Especially fire magic and, including, body heat. Given that its MP is being replenished each time it absorbs heat."
"Oh." Was chorused by many.
Speaking into the ring again, "In theory, if we could keep it in an isolated place without any additional sources of heat, it would become unable to sustain either skill."
"Now I wish I stocked up more on books relating to barrier creation. But I need to conserve what I do have for her." He said the last part under his breath.
The black-haired one looked around, "Anyone got any barrier-related skills that could trap this thing?" he said as they moved back further. While the UBM's heat drain ability was powerful, its levitation was rather slow.
Even someone like Crescent could outrun it.
"Nope.", "No.", and so on were the responses.
"Isn't there some way to damage it?"
"Conventionally no." he replied almost immediately, "Any type of attack with any kind of heat to it just replenishes its MP while physical attacks have a chance to make it, they would either need to be ranged or the player has some skill that prevents the UBM from immediately absorbing their body heat."
"However, even if one could get around the heat-draining effect, they would need enough power to break through the ice shell."
"Isn't this thing a machine or something, couldn't we wait for it to break down or something?"
"Unfortunately not", he sighed, "Whoever created the water treatment plant had been thinking ahead and included an auto repair function. That is how it has remained functioning for so long."
"At most, it would just stop long enough to repair itself and even then, it wouldn't be long enough for us to land a decisive hit."
"Well, not unless it was a critical malfunction."
As he said that, a light bulb went off in Crescent's head.
"I know how to beat it." She said causing them all to turn towards her…and her to let out an "Eep!" in surprise at the sudden attention.
"You do?" asked the man with the sword skeptically.
"Yeah, but I need you to get me two MP Potions and keep it busy for a couple of minutes."
"How do we know you won't just try and snipe the special reward?"
"Because if all goes according to plan, I won't be able to get the special reward, I just need to stop it so I can get drops from the ruins." She huffed but did look genuinely disappointed about not getting the special reward.
However, the dark-haired man didn't seem convinced, "And why should we trust you?"
"Do you have any better plans?" he turned towards the green-haired man who just shrugged.
"Okay, what's your plan."
/-/
After the young girl explained her plan and went off to enact their plan Doctor Green Egg turned towards his old friend as they walked towards the edge of the UBM's area of effect.
"You do realize that was probably Ruby, don't you?" he asked after checking that everyone else had fallen back to a safer distance.
4-Leaf responded as most people would…by doing a spit take on the beer he had just been drinking.
his drinking is just too much of a problem here. Inventories are just too convenient for him.
"Yeah she looks a little like Pipsqueak, but-"
"She has a similar face, silver eyes, the same hairstyle, and the last name Rose." He quickly listed before adding, "And wasn't Crescent Rose the name of the knight she played when she was a small child and the name of the superhero she made when she drew her comic book in middle school."
4-Leaf shut his mouth.
"Well…damn, I think you might be right."
"Of course I am. I have known Ruby since she was a child, I am her teacher, and I was a rather big fan of her comic and still disagree with the publisher that her comic should have been published."
"Well, crap." 4-Leaf sighed, "Don't tell her I'm me."
"I hadn't planned on it", he replied conversationally, "I just wanted to inform you before you got drunk and hit on her."
And que another spit take.
"I would never-"
"Empress, every female bartender in Drag-Nomad, Isala, La Place…and Minos' Embryo Tyrving – who I will remind you is a young boy in a dress -" he raised an eyebrow accusingly, "Do I need to go on?"
Dragging his hands down his face, "No, please don't. and don't tell kiddo that I did any of that if she finds out. Make sure she doesn't."
"My lips are sealed." He hummed, "Now that that is out of the way. I believe we agreed to be the distraction."
"Can't you use one of your trump cards to one-shot the thing?"
"I could, but I won't for two reasons."
"And they would be?"
"First, we still have a job to do. I need to conserve as many tomes as possible. Much like you and not using your ace."
"True."
"I only assisted in this instance because if left unchecked the slimes could become a problem down the road. this is a completely different matter."
"And the second reason?"
"What teacher worth their chalk would steal their student's thunder?"
4-Leaf grinned. "A teacher to the end."
"Damn right." DGE grinned.
Two large floating bookcases appeared behind him as a book from each shelf floated and moved to in front of DGE before opening towards the UBM.
The first disappeared into a gust of wind which went into the hole he had created earlier. It was one of his unique spells he dubbed Echoes of the Breeze. It used complex wind magic to act as a form of echolocation.
In an instant, he was able to determine that all slimes had either been destroyed or frozen by the UBM. That was good, he did not want anything unforetold to happen during his students' big moment.
The second book opened and he released the ultimate spell of the King of Quakes; Earthquake. Despite the name, it causes the surrounding earth to vibrate at high speeds which causes it to release powerful shockwaves damaging everything within the wide area of effect.
Normally, this skill could damage or even destroy Adamantite. However, that was under normal circumstances.
Sound did not move at a constant velocity, it was entirely dependent on the environment. Sound moves faster through hot or humid environments due to the molecules in the air being more excited as a result, lowering temperatures, such as being low enough to instantly flash freeze something slows the vibrations dramatically.
However, it wasn't as if it did nothing.
The ground shook, and shockwaves, slowed they may be, clashed with the wall of shards of ice in a brilliant display that many would have called beautiful as the sunlight hit the falling remnants of ice.
With one skill, he had managed to all but obliterate the asteroid belt of ice shards surrounding the UBM.
"And that should be about time." He said as the orb in the center of the ice shell glowed so violently red that it was visible through what he could only estimate was nearly six feet of solid ice.
However, just as he heard the sound of a cannon being fired the light within the shell flickered and it fell to the ground forming a crater several metels in diameter.
Turning he saw that the Master he knew to be his pupil had converted the rifle she had been using into a double-handled model that both she and her dark blue-haired compatriot were equipped with…as well as the twisted wreckage of its barrel.
Oddly there was no sign of the ordinance being fired, such as having left a trail in the air.
If he had to speculate, based on what his Reveal and Identification had shown him, and his conjecture he would guess that Ruby's Embryo, a Type Maiden no less, had some type of equipment enhancement effect, but not the kind of safety features that typically accompany an Advance Type, so probably Type Arms. He would also conjecture that the dark blue-haired girl had some type of accuracy-based Embryo.
Given that his skill See Through Sight picked up something in her right eye socket, it was probably also a Type: Arms that had replaced her eye.
This supported his theory as body replacing Embryos typically correlated to what aspect(s) they enhanced such as a Type: Arms replacing the user's eye to enhance evasion, their arms for offensive abilities, or their skeleton to increase their END. (1)
Her build was focused on shooting rather than evading, so accuracy enhancement was most likely.
This meant its ultimate skill culminated in an attack that could not be avoided or blocked.
He saw the reason Ruby, he should probably get used to calling her Crescent here, asked him to remove the asteroid field and damage the shell was because they both needed time to customize the rifle, but to also remove potential obstacles.
This was confirmed as he saw 4-Leaf and the short white-haired young man speeding toward the immobile and defenseless ice shell.
Those two had AGI over 20,000 with the shorter of the two suddenly accelerating rapidly, easily exceeding 200,000(!) before seeming to invoke some kind of ultimate skill.
If not for his Embryo and Superior Job increasing his processing power, he would have missed that the boy's AGI had exceeded 1,000,000!
In the time it took a pin to drop the two had landed their first attacks on the shell. The shorter one, The Rabbit as his Superior Job was called, converted his shoes into ice skates and landed a shattering hit while 4-Leaf hit it with his special reward sword that had transformed itself into a scythe. (2)
The sword itself wasn't anything special, in fact, as far as Ancient Legendary rewards went, in anyone else's hands, it would be considered a trash item due to its low attack value and its only skill allowing each strike to count as seven.
This didn't mean what one would expect. While the attacks with it counted as seven, the damage was the same for a single strike from a sword of Legendary metal.
What made it dangerous in 4-Leaf's hand is the combination of the Gambler's skill Jackpot which multiplies damage based on the user's LUC and the Scytheman's job which focuses on increasing the chances of crits and increasing the power of those crits.
This meant that each hit 4-Leaf landed would receive the boosts of seven checks for crits and damage increases based on his LUC stat stacking on top of one another.
Given that his LUC is in the 100,000 range, the damage potential is quite frankly absurd.
The two struck and the shell shattered like an ice sculpture struck with a wrecking ball. Shards of crystal sprayed like an ice storm of mythological proportions as the glowing red core was revealed for the world to see.
However, contrary to what they expected, a red comet burst from the wreckage of the shell upon impact.
It would seem that the UBM was capable of rational thought, or something resembling it, and had diverted all its energy into fleeing.
Interesting.
He was about to remove a book from his shelf when he saw a second object streaking through the air.
It was Crescent.
Red was chasing crimson and red was gaining.
His skills showed she was augmenting her power suit to increase its speed. However, he could see that the skill was putting strain on her power suit.
From her inventory, she removed what looked like a scythe – causing him to mentally snort at how similar his friend and his niece were- as her energy cape flared in a burst of speed she managed to connect with Crimson Nova destroying it…and her power suit.
Though this didn't concern him much. A little wind magic and she landed safely on the ground.
"Very good . You get an A for effort and for your plan." He smiled.
/-/
"How did you know about my ultimate skill?" JAnz asked Crescent as Kelly was busy patching her up.
Using Runic Script enhanced with Runic Scrawling had been too much for her power suit…and her avatar. Her right arm was broken in at least a half dozen places.
"It just made sense. Ultimate skills are the ultimate version of your Embryo's abilities. Since yours is always making sure you hit your target, it couldn't be anything other than a sure kill hit." Crescent explained as JAnz down another HP Potion.
Her ultimate skill cost her all the HP she had. By using the Rear Soldier's skill Last Stand, she was able to survive with 1 HP.
JAnz looked at her like she was the dumb kid in class who suddenly said something super smart.
"You know what", she said holding her head, "I don't even care."
"On the bright side," said the green-haired man from before as he walked up to them, "Everyone agreed that once the tunnels are reopened, once they finish un-collapsing the entrance, you get first run through."
"That was nice of everyone."
"Gamers can be pretty nice when you impress them." He said, "Seeing a young player managing to defeat an enemy with particularly nasty abilities through planning and determination will always earn you a good standing."
"The fact your Embryo tamed the Killer Rabbit probably didn't help." Kelly chuckled as she eyed Chrono asleep him Wotan's baby harness. She had taken his helmet off and was gently stroking his head.
Crescent so wanted to take him home and make him her little brother.
"You're the Wondering Library from Caldina, aren't you?" Crescent asked recalling seeing his avatar in an article on the DIN webpage.
The man blinked in surprise before nodding, "Yes, yes I am."
"Do you know anything about Flagman and his inventions?"
"I would say I know quite a bit."
"Could I ask you to take a look at an item I got a while back?"
Blinking in a little surprise at the question, he agreed nonetheless. "I would love to."
As Crescent took out the Storm's Core, it would be this meeting that defined her place in Dryfe and even Infinite Dendrogram as a whole. But as they say, that is a story for another time.
(1) AR-I-CA, Carbine, and Eldridge
(2) Sue me, a sword that turns into a scythe is just too badass not to use.
And there you have it folks, our favorite Mechanic has gotten her first UBM Special Reward and while I don't want to spoil anything, I will tell you that it is going to suit her rather well.
Like I said above, after this chapter, I'll be exploring other characters' interactions throughout Infinite Dendrogram.
Crescent Rose = Ruby Rose
Kelly Hawks = Reese Chloris
JAnz = Nebula Violette
Doctor Green Egg = Bartholomew Oobleck
4-Leaf = Qrow Branwen
