"Their, all done" I smiled muttered to my baeutiful redhound dogs. It was the night before our to Prazil, and I was between washing my two dogs, Old Dan and Little Ann. Old Dan was rolling around on his towel while i focused all my attention on Little Ann, making sure to get every bit of dirt from between her ears and the toes and hips; and also inside the nosetrils. Washing my dogs gets them - and me - ready for the bloody battles ahead. Every time I ran my calloussed hand across their fur it was like steel sharpening steel, at least to the mind, like I was a wet stone. Then my dad and Mr. Armenta poped their heads into the door of the room to great me.
"Haha hey Fern, good to see you're taking care of the dogs, it's like routine manetanence, anyways we're making ourselves a midnight snack before our workout, do you want some? After all, when the bug bites ya, you get stung!"
I smiled yes. The night is always the best time to clean your muscles and your mind. Armenta made us chi tea and dad got his jar of orbeez from the fridge to go with it. Dad had this great idea to use orbeez as reusable booba balls in our tea. After we were done we'd just rinse them off and put them back in the jar, which was also reusable. I finished washing the dogs (and drying them, duh, i know my readers are smart enough to get where thisis going…), and we all were tucked into bed.
The next day, I biked to school… but actually I DIDN'T go to school, instead I went past school to the international airport where I met Nick and up with Mike. We all had our tickets, tickets to Prazil. With a solid not, we entered the airport (bringing our bikes with us) and took some jets, Jets to Prazil.
On the flight over Nick and Mike wanted to play I Spy, Nick said "I spy something blue" and I thought it was the water but then when he said it was the sky I got mad, furious even, but I kept my cool and I didn't show it not even on my face
Ok so we landed in Prazil, the scenery around me was beautiful like in those travelling magazines. I saw a pool like one from a expedia commercial. We stepped out onto the landing, picking up our bikes from the carrion. People were walking by so fast and talking evenn faster, and I could barely understand.
"ajfds;lfhadsjkfhasdlfh" said one passerby
"AKSJhfsdkahasdkfh" said another guy.
"Thanks but no thanks!" Mike responded. Nick and I stared at him like we were shocked. He just smiled and said "You guys should pay more attention in Spanesh class." I was taking french and he knew that. Suddenly I was interrupted by seeing guy on the tarmac wearing a tuxeto calling out to us with a sign that said "Diamond Dogs" and we knew were to go next. He pointed us to a CTOL (Controlled Take-off Or Landing) jet and said "Fern Gully? This is your ride." The benefits of being a secret agent.
;)
On the way over as we flew through the Prazilean cityside and out into the countryside with the wind flowing through our hairs, we opened an envelope. Our target's name was Ronaldo Ricardo, or Double R for short, "Double R! My Man!" said Nick, and he was being held in a Prazilian oil rig that was being illegally run and operated by DTAG - the death to all group, i reminded everyone. Double R supposedly had information about the dognappers (Butler and whoever else was working with him) but his comms went dark after the first message, and it was our job to find out what that was. I made sure to patch Jessica in so she'd be able to give us ground support.
"UGH~ You guys there already? It's like 1:47 AM right now for me…" She sounded cute sleepy but then I looked at my watch and saw that it was 7:33 PM for us.
"Early to rise, early to shine" said the pilot. NIck nodded thoughtfully at that and I was thinking about the mission.
Eventually, we reached the oil tig in the middle of the Prazil rainsforest. It was just getting dark so our jet was able to drop us a few clicks weast of the rig, but even from here I could smell the toxic waste fewms. Disgusting corporate pigs. There was runnoff going directly from the pipes into the rivers, streams, straight into the mouths of babies. Not human babies, but the animals were suffering. I guest that they couldn't barrel the oil fast enough, and now the animasl have to pay the ultimate price.
"How are we getting in the oil rig, Fern? The Core issued me a rifle, not wings!" Mike smuckled and smiled at Nick's joke. I also smiled because I had studied the blueprints inside AND out. But for now, I needed to shine bright like a Diamond, and/or keep my nose down like a Dog.
"The rig is lined with ladders to get you up higher. You need to get your heads on straight or you ain't comin out in one piece! Now GO GO GO! The corpse ain't payin us by the hour!" said the pilot, and we HALO dropped out of the jet, holding the rope down to the ground below. We landed hardly and crawled through the thick underbrush in triangle formation like the first day of basic training.
In front of the main ladder into the place was 3 guards all on parole around the place. Through my bionicles I could barely hear what they were saying to each other, not that it mattered, the only thing that mattered was that they were in our way. Mike grinded his teeth again and I turned to looked at his face.
"Okay, let's each take a guy. I'll flank around and come at them strauight on." Mike said, and brought his AA12 to aim at the guard closest to him's heart. I heard Jessica typing something and then said something else: "But wait… I'm running a sound scan of the area and if you take him out at that range, they'll deafinitely hear you!"
Nick smiled and over the commes I heard him say "That's where I come in. I'll snipe the second guard, and the sound will sonically disrupt the sound of Mike's gunfire. Then it's just up to Fern." I could tell where the plan was goingso I was already at my guy ready to kill him. Nick and Mike looked over me as I silently counted down for the final kill.. 3… 2…. 1…..
But then, there was a BANG that DIDN'T come from EITHER of there GUNS! Suddenly there was a flash of black leather and steel out of the corner of my eye and with a flash a bullet hole was sticking into of the face of the guy in front of me, right between his eys! I turned to see the assailant which the other guards also saw but it was too late: a tall dark woman with sexy, healthy D-Cups barrel rolled between the bullets the guards were firing to get up close and snap the neck of the second guard, and before the third could even react she held out a very highly technology wrist mounted device that shot a ball of lightning into the throat of the third guy, which fried him instantly. "What the-" said Mike who was this beautiful woman? She dropped low to pick up the shell of her pullet and then looked back over her shoulder to smirk at me.
"Well hey there handsome. Need some help?" She spoke in a whisper, and when she did that I saw how shiny her lips were, like they were-
"EXCUSE ME, IDENTIFY YOURSELF!" Jessica was suddenly screaming through the diodes in my suit, and she made a good point. As alluring as this strange woman was, she did just stieal three kills from us. We deserved some answers.
She stood up slowly, and for a second I almost felt jealous of Nick who was watching this whole thring through his sniper and definitely getting a better angle. I could see his laser touching on and around her body. Her body was very musclular but not big, just very detailed: she had curves in places that most woman don't have places.. She turned to look at me and when our eyes met there was electricity and fire in my soul, in both of our souls, where we met there and then. She had on a skin tight leather and steel outfit, perfect for silent spywork. She smirked at me.
"You're cuter than the dosseyay says. Molly Cipher, Class V agent, just like Fern. Though I've been doing this a lot longer than you guys…" She seemed to hold up her wrist electricity device and shut it off, and it resembled itself into a watch again. After that she shifted her weight onto her second hip and for the second time I noticed her thick thighs. " You're here for the hostage, aren't ya? I'm here on my own business… but I can stick around. It's always nice to watch a young man work."
I could hear Jessica grumbling but Mike spoke up over the walkie talkies. "Where did you get that?" He was pointing at her gadget but she winked and little spin.
"Oh these? The boots are Goochy, the jacket is Prada, and the DX7 Nitrogen-Cooled Thermal Oscillator was a going away present from NSA." She laughed to herself in a airey and confident, british even, like she knew no one and no threat could ever really be a threat to her. The way she did it reminded me that as an 18 year old, I was a man, and I was aroused. Jessica whispered in my ear and I could hear typing.
"A DX7? We ordered one 2 years ago and are still on the waitlist. She must be the real deal… Okay Fern, well.. I don't trust her, okay? She could be a baddie! Just keep your eyes on her, boys." Jessica paused after she said that, and the twins and I looked at one another with raised eyebrows like "did she really just say that?" before she added "...Not all over her, just make sure she doesn't commit any crimes!"
She turned her butt in a sexy way and she swayed and wobbled over to the ladder. But then out of the corner of my eye I saw something that cought my attention and I did the stopping motion gesture with my hands. Right under one of the oily runoff streams was a whild dog that was now being drenched in the thick, bubbly goop and scared of me. It looked eyes with me and made me think og my own two dogs at home; and all dogs everywhere that did not deserve this kind of miss treatment. I knew what I had to be done and I did.
"Fern, what are you-" siad Mike but Nick stoped him.
"Hold up, let him cook." said Nick.
I walked over to the dog, who was so unregognizable that I couldn't even tell what breed it was. Its tag was too dirty to read. I can't stand by and let this dog suffer, and I remembers that my dad always (ALWAYS) said "a dog well washed is a dog well loved", so I began washing the dog with dog soap. When I was done, the dog was spotless and I saw it was a German Sheppard, he/him. I had him follow me back to the rest of the group. Between Molly and this new dog, it looks like I gained two valuable assets out in the field for this mission.
"Ladies first" said Molly and I didn't disagree as she began to climb the ladder followed by Nick and Mike. I brought up the rear, doing a fire man's carry to bring the dog with us.
