Chapter 5 : Tying Up Loose Ends

Elsewhere Far away from the police station a Izuku Midoriya can be seen walking into a apartment complex which he calls home. The room that they rented was just the right size for two people, and it had all the necessities from the a bathroom, kitchen, a living room and even separate bedrooms. But just as he is about to enter his and his mother's apartment the door is flung open. In which a shorter middle-aged plump woman with green hair, in an instant grabbed Izuku and embraced him in a bear crushing hug. This was none other than his mother Inko Midoriya who had tears in her eyes as she began to speak.

Inko : "Oh.. my sweet baby boy. Y-you're..you're finally home s-safe. F-for once in my life I didn't think I would ever get to see your face again."

Immediately Izuku began to reply along with his own tears.

Izuku : "I-I-I know I-I didn't think I would get to see y-you too m-mom. But don't worry I am here now." Said Izuku with his usual smile as he wiped his face.

Inko : "Oh thank god! O-Okay. I will stop worrying wah wah ha ha. These are tears of joy, honey, not sadness." said Inko to her son.

Izuku : Oh-oh-oh okay. These are also tears of joy. Wah wah hah ha."

For a few hours the two Midoriyas would just stand there pouring out all of their tears. They had cried for so long that their tears could even feel an entire room, but thankfully they stopped after an hour ofcrying. In which we now see Inko getting preparing dinner while Izuku is in his room preparing to do his homework. Little did he know that he is gonna get the surprise of a life as he begins to open his backpack and immediately realized something was wrong, but it wasn't what was from inside, but rather the smell.

Izuku : He immediately covered his nose as he took in his bags smell. "Gah, oh gosh... cought...when was the last time I cleaned this back... Wait a minute!"

Just as he finished his statement, he began to notice something odd about his backpack. Well other than the smell of course, but not just that but just on its appearance, he soon realized something. And that something being that the backpack he had was not school themed.

Izuku : ("If this isn't my bag then who's do I have... Wait that hedgehog what was his name.) Izuku then ponder for a moment before finally speaking out loud "It's Sonic!"

But as soon as he said this he covered his mouth as soon as he heard his mother's voice call out from the kitchen.

Inko : "What was that sweetheart." Inko shouted from the kitchen.

Izuku : Thinking quickly, so his mother wouldn't know about his current predicament. He responded "nothing mom just doing my homework."

Inko : "Oh OK. dinner will be ready in 10 minutes . I made your favorite Katsudo."

As soon as she said, this Izuku's eyes widen as he smile.

Izuku : ("OK! Dinner first then solving this dilemma later. I mean what's the worst that happen in a few minutes.") though the boy as we began to walk downstairs into the kitchen.

(We cut back to the police station)

To say that Sonic was panicking would be an understatement as he can be seen running around while screaming. While Sage just stood there with closed eyes against the wall in though. For what expected to be in the bag were the seven most powerful gems in the universe but instead found nothing but school supplies. This left an after affect on the older hedgehog but surprisingly not on younge AI girl. All a while everyone around them just stood there in confusion except for one such number one hero and detective. As they were the only two who knew the real for why Sonic was panicking were internally panicking, but were secretly hiding it. But unbeknownst to everyone sonic and Sage we're having a back-and-forth on their current predicament from within there, mental connection.

Sage :"I'm sensing a high amount of uneasiness, worry and fear from you. (Is it because you lost the emeralds which in turn doomed this world.)" said Sage in her emotionless tone to Sonic within their minds. Whispering the last part.

Sonic : "What and your not!" said Sonic finally stopped running to Sage.

Sage : ("Well No! For one this isn't her first time losing the emeralds in the first place which you should know by now, so it is nothing new to us. Secondly we know where and what the emeralds are being stored in, which will make them easier to find. Lastly you're being very pathetic you're acting very childishly, even after all the years where you found them time and time again even though you have lost them before.") said the girl with a smile as if she didn't insult the blue hedgehog. ("So how is this any different?")

Sonic : ("Okay...I guess you're right...Sorry...I guess I just wanted to use them as soon as I can so that we could go back home. For so reason I just want to go back home as soon as possible but I don't know why this time...") said sonic with disappointment at himself before he was stopped when...

Then out of now where Sage floated towars Sonic and hugged him from behind.

Sage : "I know how you feel even I miss home. I understand you're worried. But just remember what he said to that knucklehead 'But you're not alone.'" said Sage who mimiced sonic's voice with a tear.

It was then that sonic and Sage then enbrace each other in a sister and brother hug which was seen by everyone in the station all.

Everyone: "Awwawaawsw"

But they're hugging, came to a halt when All Might and Tuskauchi coughed to get their attention. They were so distracted that they didn't realize that the two left, and we're now, holding a file before finally speaking and breaking the tension.

All Might : "Ha ha ha and I thought you weren't brother and sister let me guess was that also lie." Laught the number one hero.

The two now looked at their current predicament and immediately blushed with embarrassment before immediately jumping back.

Sage / Sonic : "Ah Ah Ah it's not what it looks like!"

Sage : "P...Precisely hugging was one of many ways to come down I had nothing to do with any deep...feelings."

Detective Tuskauchi : "Ha...well okay. But now that you're finally done, with your little show of affection, then I suggest you two should listen up. But first let's talk somewhere more private to avoid anymore scenes then what you already made."

Sonic : "Sounds good if it sounds important." said Sonic with a thumbs up.

Sonic / Sage (Few...that was close. Wait did we just think of the same thing again?)

With those word Sage and Sonic both breathed a sigh of relief before finally getting serious and nodding to each other in agreement. For this though they were now in a closed private room similar to that of the interrogate room. Now that no one could hear them All Might and tuskauchi began to get ready to elaborate on what they had to say.

Sonic : "Okay guys give it to us straight. What do you guys have for us because right now we're not doing too good. So please let it be good we could use some good news right about now."

All Might : "Ha ha ha fear not young sonic as this worlds number one hero is here to give your good news. For it is that..."

Sage : "You know were the emeralds are." said Sage in the mid of the heros reveal. "Thank you but we or I already know."

Sonic / Tuskauchi / All Might : "What"

Once again Sage had surprise the entire room again but nonetheless began to elaborate.

Sage : "Again I thank you for your help but...'You were just to slow.'"

Sonic : ("Hey thats it's my line.") said Sonic to sage to throught their cyber connection.

Sage : "For I have already know where the emeralds are since I have now pinpointed their location and identified the person who has them."

Sonic : "Sage...are...you...just telling us this right now" groan sonic as who had slammed his head and table hearing that Sage knew where the emeralds were the entire. ("Man you really like playing games with me don't you")

Sage : ("I am the daughter of your arch enemy after all, of course. It is only my nature as a growing scientific genius.") said the Sage with sly smile, to Sonic who roled his eye after lifting his head up.

Sages response was vague, but his hypothesis was confirmed in the end. Just as things were being to wrap up that was when detective Tuskauchi heared a call from within his radio. Leaving his chiar he turned away from everyone to her the call.

Tuskauchi : "Hold on a second...Aha...aha...aha Wait! WHAT no impossible! Are you sure this can't be."

All Might saw his friend in worry which was when he decided to see what was wrong.

All Might : "What seems to be bother you detective if so is there anything I can do."

Tuskauchi : "S-sorry for that I just got called from our software department. They just had a situation down there, they say that our systems had been hacked."

All Might : "What! A hacker i'm on my way to help! For I AM HERE" shouted All Might with fist up in the air as he began to march towards the door but was stopped.

He was about to leave before Tuskauch called him out this time.

Tuskauchi : " Well no that won't be necessary as for one decoding and ciphering aren't really your profession in your line of hero work."

This made All Might sweat at how true Tsukauchi statement was that he slowly got back into his with his head down. But none the less the detectuve continued as All Might gave his full aythis time.

Tuskauchi : "...Also...two the situation has been handled, but before we got back our systems. Their seems to have been a strange symbol on all the computer screens when the system had been taken over. Here I'll show you all."

The detective, then turn his phone to show the rest of the group in the room the image. The image itself was one a red logo with a circle of a mans face with white eyes, goggles, ends of a bushy mustache , and cartoonist smile.

The image itself surprised All Might but funny enough not Sage or even Sonic as of that matter of fact. For Sonic he had seen this logo time and time again mostly when Eggman would hack his friends equipment and he knew only one other person who also hacked while using that logo. As for Sage well to her well...it was obvious who hacked the system.

Sonic : "Ohhh sso that's how you got that information you didn't really do any of work did you. You just took the information from them."

Sage : "Yes, thank you for using your brain for once." She said with a mirk of her own.

Sonic : "OK but seriously though! When did you learn how to roast like that?" Groaned Sonic tighting his jaw growing tried of the roasting.

Sage : "What are you talking about hedgehog this is not the time to be grilling hotdogs on a griller. I now take back my comment of you using your brain." She said tilting her head in false confusion.

Sonic : "Thats not what I ment and you know it!". shouted Sonic ticked off at the girl who just smirked at his annoyance.

There small argument, was then interrupted by detectives Tuskauchi who began to speak.

Tuskauchi : "Pardon me, but from what I'm hearing, I believe this current hacking may be as a result of one of you I'm guessing." said the detective in a less friendly tone this time.

All Might : "What detective you can't just accuse them of such a heinous crime. We cannot be sure if they did it until there is evident of such crime . Plus we were here with them the entire time also..."

Sonic : "Yeah no he's right it was one of us." interrupted Sonic while kicking back his legs on table. "But it wasn't me, but none other than the digital younge scientific lady in red and white."

Sonic then crossed his arms before using one of his fingers to point at right now had a 'I know I did' express as she rolled her eyes. Which left All Might surprised but not Tuskauchi.

Tuskauchi :"gha...okay now that we figured out who hacked our systems and the why. We'll just put this under the rug too along with everything else you did. Because to be honest I was expecting this you know with you being AI of course.

Sonic : "Wow okay let me guess you knew this would happen because it happened in the movies or something." asked Sonic jokingly.

Tuskauchi : "Yes"

Sonic : "Oh wow I was being sarcastic."

All Might : "For me really she remind me of Skynet from terminator be really honest no offense younge Sage." (Gah why did I say that!) though All Might reflecting at what he just said.

Sage : "None taken. (I'll crush you!)" said the girl hiding her anger that was only visible by light glow of red in her eyes.

All Might saw this though, and could only gulp as he never knew that a small child will give him more fear than most of the villains he's faced. But just in case he didn't get on her bedside he just laughed it off.

All Might : "HaHaha..you once again proved to be something more than what appear to be young Sage. For...you know as a...AI girl n-not that i'm saying that you're not a real girl. But maybe you could please tone down going around hacking everyone you see for..ah...kicks...ah...please." said the hero with a shaky smile.

Tuskauchi then skopke after him but this time with a pit form seriousness in his voice.

Tuskauchi : "Especially governmental systems because if you get caught, you two might just end up where you are right now again but worse. added Tuskauchi who then sat down again.

All Might : "Yup and that too."

All Might and Tuskauchi expected her to fight back or at leats try reason with them but that would be the case. Since Sage being a highly advanced AI knew what they meant by their worry that was masked as a threat. So decided to be under their goods

Sage : "Very well then. This will only take a few seconds just give me a minute." Sage said calmly in her stoic tone.

Her eyes then flashed blue before turning back to red. Which felt the two confused before she began to speak again in her tone.

Sage : "All right as of right now, I have blocked myself from entering any of your systems from here on out. That also goes with any other Japanese systems ranging from private to military systems as well." stated Sage to the hero and detective.

But unbeknown to them, she secretly had her fingers crossed behind her back, which was seen by Sonic.

Sonic : ("Oh boy I guess she really is eggmans daughter. Ha..ha.. well at least she's not completely rotten though.) though Sonic with a held back chuckle.

We now see Sonic Sonic, Sage, All Might and detective Tuskauchi exiting the room before head towards the exit of the station itself. Once outside Sage went into her flesh disguise before telling them the location of the emeralds Sonic objective to go get himself, but was halted when Sage gave a unimpressed look. Which is why there were now heading into a police car but before that Sage stopped in her tracks after almost everyone in the vehicle.

Sage : "I say that we split up."

Sonic : "hue what for?" adkeed a confuse sonic who was now sitting in the car.

All Might : "Yes younge Sage is there's something bothering you."

Sage : "To be quite frankly, there is andit's something completely different from finding the emeralds."

Everyone in the car soon stopped what they were doing to fix their attention towards Sage as she continued to speak.

Sage : "Do any of you remember my flying bots while Sonic dealt with enemy of sluge."

Tuskauchi : "Why yes that was in the report I believe they're called Buzz bombers if I'm correct. So yes what about them." asked the detective who is now more curious.

Sage : "During the incident I used my fathers buzz bombers to eliminate the fire and use them for crowd control. But those robots weren't the only ones used in my mission but I also used a ground bot known as a Motobug."

Sage then extended her palm out and from her palm, a holographic image of a motor bug emerged. It's appeared as a small robot no taller than their waste, with it taking on the appearance of a ladybug, but with notable differences, such tire for its legs and two sharp talons on each of its. This surprised Tuskauchi and All Might before realizing that she was an AI girl.

But nonetheless they continue to let the Sage continued.

Sage : "During my use of it to observe my mission from the crowd strange pink haired girl took it."

As she said the this the image changed to show an image of Mei Hatsume.

Sonic : "Hm...hey I think I've seen her before. Though it was for a brief second sonce I was fighting yanoun."

All Might : "If I may ask younge Sage why is it so important that we must split up. We can always get it back as soon as we get your backpack. Plus from what I see from these schematics it doesn't seem that harmful."

Sage then changed the schematics to show the inside of the robot self. Which depicted the eyes being able to fire lasers and had a back compartment in the butt of the robot that housed many minirockets. Which made All Might and Tuskauchi sweat drop.

Sage : "Now that know why I must take it back. I must be on my way while the rest of you find the emeralds. For only I now how to operate such delicate machines. Oh and Also keep an eye on the hedgehog."

sonic : "HEY!" shouted Sonic but fell on death ears to Sage.

With Sage beginning to glitch and fade while floating up a few inches off the ground.

Detective : "Hey if you're going to just take it back then I suggest that at least wait up a second and let All Might or me accompany..."

But before detective couldn't finish as Sage soon disappeared into thin air to the shock of All Might while Sonic just laughed it off.

Sonic : "Sorry cheif you were too slow. Ha Ha Ha even I forget that she can just teleport. But now then I guess we have a few emeralds to find. Wait but did any of you get the directions on where...Ow" before sonic could finish his sentence something hit his head before then landed on his lap.

The tablet itself was red and white with the base being a rectangular with round corners, it had a wide oval touch screen and three red tipped antennas on top. On the left of the screen it had a hand grip and on the right had a few arrow keys settings. Bit the biggest takeaway was the egg empire logo that was plastered it's back.

Sonic : "Oh wow now this looks familiar." said Sonic as he held the tablet device in left hand.

All Might : "What is it younge Sonic" asked the All Might before seeing the strange tablet. "Let me guess a gift from younge Sage ha ha what charming younge...ai...girl.(Man that is still so weird to say.)"

Tuskauchi : "Well then what is it exactly?" asked Tuskauchi with some interest to the device. (Haven't seen any think like that in a while.)

Sonic : "Well it isn't totally the same but this tablet here is a lot similar to one of my friend's inventions. I think it was called the Miles electric...yeah that's it." said Sonic with snap.

All Might : "If so then what might this new tablet do then young sonic? If you speak so highly of it must be amazing."

Sonic : "You betcha this new tablet here is a multifunctional handheld device with tones of features similar to that of the Miles electric. Such as having its own built in radar, with sensor capabilities, can do data analysis, communicator, and even a translator that can translate pretty much anything." said Sonic with evidenced excitement.

All Might : "Amazing!, it really does all that! To be brutally honest in my line of work I never seen such a support item have so many capabilities."

Tuskauchi : "Once again she have proven to be more than she appears to be. (Thought this has me questioning who they really are if Sage capable of making such equipment and robots like this. And as for the hedgehog, it's clear that he's a hero, but he's hiding something.) though Tuskauchi.

All Might had heared his frineds last remark before deciding to talk with him privately later. But right he just needed to keep the conversation neutral to avoid any suspicion.

All Might : (Even I too have my concerns of them. Like if Sonic really is related to Sage.) "So younge Sonic if you know that much about the device then you must have your own way with technology too I guess."

Sonic : "nah it says it on the manual found on the back." said Sonic pointing at a hidden compartment within the tablets back with said in his right hand manual. "Oh and it's know as the egg electric..oh..and what was that?."

All Might : "Nevermined nothing." said the hero rapidly. (Okay that answers one of my questions.)

Sonic : "Alright everyone let's go find us some emeralds. So here we go!" said Sonic as the car began to turn on.

Sage can be seen teleporting across the city being as secretive as possible to avoid any suspicion. Were she is mostly operating in the shadows or either using her digitsl flesh disguise. She even one as far as using small robots that looks like butterflies called Bata-patas.

Sage : "Okay after asking a few people and monitoring the city through security cameras. I have located at target Mei Hatsume. Your days are numbered!" said Sage in amessing tone.

The girl in general can be seen carrying the Motobug into what appear to be a basement as she open what appeared to be a cellar door. But before that for some reason began to turn and watch your surroundings before finally staring at Sage from a distance. Thankfully instinct, Sage went into a flesh disguise to avoid any suspicion but just to be sure, crouched down to not be in her line of view.

Sage : "I have to say that was close on my part. But nonetheless, the less chances of this operation becoming a success are high. If I only I retain a low profile thankfully, I'm not some blue hedgehog." Said the girl before opening a portal and sending in a pata-bata into it.

(In Mei's Basement)

Mei : "Okay my new baby since your owner gave me permission to open you up. Then it looks like that this will be your new home."

But as she was taking to the machine she was unaware of a small red and white portal that had open above her. And out it came the pata-bata but this time it had red eye meaning Sage was in control.

Chapter 6 : Allies or Friends

(Okay after a long break I have finished thi? chapter and don't worry I will try to make make them just 5-6k words. Also I do have question.)
