"Woah." Rosa gasped as her best friend came out the bathroom

"Give me your worst." Yelena told her, touching her freshly dyed onyx waves self- consciously

"No no, I actually love it! It looks great!"

"Thanks." She said in relief. She had woken up this morning wanting a change and usually for her, that meant a new hair color. It was dramatic and she loved it. She had gone dark and lovely before when she was younger and hadn't since. She secretly hoped that it would draw the attention away from her permanently bloated form.

She was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that she hadn't went through with the procedure.

She couldn't go through with it. The baby was the only innocent person in the mix of its parents messed up relationship. It took only for the doctor to call her name to head to the back, waiting expectantly for her to realize that she could kill her child in cold blood no matter how much she believed that it was for the best. And after three weeks in bed with nothing to do but think, she put her pride aside. This was not about her anymore. It would never be about her again. It was about her baby now.

First things first, she saw an OB/GYN, who informed her that she was in good health, despite the weeks of stress. She then started looking for a place. She was pretty sure Rosa was tired of her eating all the food in her fridge. There were a select few that were up to parr and matched her price range and she made a mental note to start calling and setting up walk throughs. She lived Rosa dearly. She was being a good host to her, but she missed having her own space.

"Want to go to out?" Rosa asked

Yelena chewed her lip "I think I'll pass."

She was still hiding out in a way. Plenty of other Superstars and Divas lived in Tampa and she hadn't spoken to anyone since she resigned and changed her number.

Rosa had told her that a few people had asked about her whereabouts, which she had not revealed. She didn't want anyone to know where she was for fear of Chris catching wind.

Chris. She didn't want to think about the day they'd meet again. The thought turned her stomach. She didn't tell him that she hadn't gone through with it and with each passing day, she didn't think she would ever. She wasn't sure how he would react. Would he be happy? Pissed at her for going back on her word? He didn't try to contact her after her birthday to attempt to change her mind, so she assumed he finally accepted that it was over and moved on, but now that she had decided to keep the baby, she wondered if he thought about her as much as she did him.

Probably not. It was better this way, him hating her for killing their kid and steering clear. She was okay with raising their baby on her own.

Baby.

The word was still so foreign to her. Some days she wished she had been brave enough to go through with her first plan. It would have been easy. To end it and start over in Florida. In a way, she felt like she was just bidding her time. She could hide out in a city where most of the people she knew resided. It was only a matter of time and her ever expanding body couldn't be shielded by baggy clothes in the unforgiving summer heat.

Where are you going?" Yelena asked, noticing that Rosa was in a bathrobe, a towel on her head, her face flawlessly made up

"Friends of mine are in town from California." Rosa told her, going into her bedroom

She followed "Who is it?" Yelena asked, plopping down on the Diva's bed, tucking her feet under her as the Diva went into her walk-in closet

"Maryse and Barbie." Rosa admitted, returning with a pretty little blue dress in hand

"You mean Mike's wife?"

"Yeah. I was going to ask you if you wanted to tag along, but by the look on your face, I won't bother."

Yelena hadn't realized that her face had settled into an uncomfortable grimace

"You should come. You haven't gone out since you got here."

"Rosa, you know I can't-"

"I won't be drinking. We can not drink together. It'll be like old times."

Yelena recalled on all of her drunken escapades with the Latina. Sure they had been fun at the time, but they were both in a dark state of mind at the time of it all, Rosa heartbroken and Yelena tormented.

She had been a mess, using alcohol as a crutch to keep her world from shattering into pieces even though she knew that it was inevitable. She had clawed her way out of her deepest pit and there was no way she was going back there. She couldn't go back anyway.

"You can't hide from everyone forever."

"I'm not!" She defended "Just... Until everyone forgets about me."

"You have a lot of people who love and care about you, so good luck with that." Rosa snorted

Yelena sighed, knowing that she was right. It made her kind of miss the days when she was just an unknown face in the shuffle to the talent around her.

She chatted with Rosa while she continued to get dressed, feeling a twinge of jealously at how great she looked in her strapless dress. She missed getting all dolled up. Most of her clothes were beginning to hug her like a second skin with her changing figure and she was slipping back into her self conscious state of mind about herself.

"Have fun for me and no drinking." she said sternly

"God you sound like a mom already." Rosa teased

She bid her friend good night and locked the door behind her. She decided to take a bubble bath to clear her congested head, just as she was about to submerge herself, her phone went off, alerting a new message. It was from her father

Hope all is well with you moya doch'. We love you.

Yelena felt bad. She hadn't really spoken to her father or her Val since she up and moved. They were the only ones who could get in touch with her since she still wasn't on good terms with her oldest sister and her mother would more than likely ask too many questions to locate her since she wouldn't tell her where she was moving and why so suddenly.

She typed a reply

I love you too Papa. I'll call you soon, I promise

She enjoyed her bath, her eyelids growing heavy after half an hour. It's a good thing she hadn't taken Rosa up on her offer to go out. She was becoming. Sleepy head and couldn't keep her eyes open past nine thirty. It amazes her how her body still wasn't use to it's new room god she was over the morning sickness phase.

Deciding to get out before she pruned, she mindlessly got dressed. She was pulling a brush through her hair in the mirror when she realized that she was wearing a shirt that she was pretty sure belonged to Chris and sighed heavily. Not a day went by when he didn't mind a zillion times and she stubbornly reminded herself not to miss him. He wasn't hers to miss.

She flipped off the lights and crawled into bed, closing her eyes, too tired to think anymore and slept.

She woke the next morning feeling refreshed and padded into the bathroom to brush her teeth. Rosa poked her head in the door

"Get dressed, we're going out with Maryse and Barbie for breakfast and don't try to get out of it. You've been holed up in here for weeks, you're going." She said speedily before Yelena could object

Yelena blew a stray lock of black hair out of her face with a loud huff, feeling defeated as she stomped back into her room. She searched her wardrobe for what seemed like ages for something decent to wear that passed the test: a dark color, didn't give away the small bump in her midsection, and wasn't too small anymore.

She decided on a postal pink chiffon sleeveless tunic with silver embellishment and a pair of Mankind skinny jeans that she had unknowingly bought a size too big and fit her perfectly now, she left her hair down and pulled on a pair of nude heels. She decided to put on a bit of makeup, not wanting to look frumpy next to the two ex-Divas. Nothing like breakfast with two models to stab at your self esteem.

She met Rosa at the front door, collecting her purse "I almost forgot what you look like with real clothes on."

"Shut up." Yelena half joked, pulling her Ray Bans down to shield her eyes as they exited into the blazing sun.

They drove to a local place for breakfast, the parking lot already crowded.

Rosa killed the engine and got out. When she noticed the expecting woman was not behind her, she groaned in annoyance "My god Yelena, it's just breakfast! I'm pretty sure they aren't going to have a clue who you are."

"But I'm sure Mike has mentioned me to Maryse before." Yelena said anxiously

"So what?" Rosa said

"So what?" She repeated incredulously "She could tell Mike that he saw me and you know how big Mike's mouth is."

Rosa removed her sunglasses from her face, placing them on top of her head "Is this how it's going to be? You're going to hide from everyone for the rest of your life? Can you honestly live like that forever?"

Yelena contemplated on it for a second before shaking her head no. She knew this was going to be hard, going through this pregnancy, but Rosa was right. She seriously couldn't hide from the people who knew her. She was in their city now.

She hopped out of the truck before she lost her nerve and held her head as high as her spirit allowed as they went inside.

The rush of cold air felt like heaven for all of five seconds before she felt a chill run through her.

They came upon a booth where the two ex Divas were sitting and the gorgeous French Canadian woman stood, squealing excitedly at the sight of Rosa

"You look gorgeous! Is that the blouse I sent you?" Maryse asked in her thick accent

"House of Mayrse's finest" Rosa said, air kissing her

Barbie Blank, better known as Kelly Kelly stood and hugged Rosa as well before her blue eyes landed in the dark haired woman. She eyed her from head to toe and Yelena felt intimidatingly self conscious immediately "Who's this?" The blonde asked

"Oh! This is Yelena. Kelly, she did your last photoshops for WWE." Rosa told her

"Hi, nice to meet you." Mayrse said warmly

Kelly on the other hand, wasn't so welcoming "You dated Randy right?"

"Um, yeah for a while."

Kelly flashed a brilliant smile "And you let that slip through your fingers? Brave girl."

Yelena forced herself to keep smiling. What the hell Kelly's problem was with her already, she didn't know, but she didn't appreciate the small jab.

They sat down and a waitress came and placed Mimosas in front of them. Yelena settled for the glass of water instead, sipping it slowly as the other three women chatted.

She excused herself and went to the bathroom to get away, feeling a bit uncomfortable when she noticed Kelly staring at her every time she looked up.

She was exiting the stall when she froze. Kelly was standing before the mirror, reapplying her lip gloss.

Yelena bowed her head as she washed her hands

Kelly cleared her throat, leaning against the counter "So, sorry if I made you uncomfortable with the Randy thing." she said casually

"It's fine." Yelena said curtly. Something about the blonde was giving her a bad vibe

"Must have been a pretty nasty break up."

Yelena raised an eyebrow "Excuse me?"

"Oh god, I'm doing it again. Don't mind me its... None of my business." Kelly trailed, turning back to the mirror.

"What do you mean?" Yelena asked

"I was just... Anything involving Chris never turns out well."

"How do you know?" Yelena pressed, growing curious

"Chris is like a child with his women. Sure it's fun and exciting at first to have all his attention and you're glad to be played with... But then you notice that he only wants to play with you behind closed doors... And when he gets bored or you can't be used for his amusement anymore, he throws you away like trash and then it's on to the next."

"You... You've been with him too?" Yelena stammered

Kelly let out a light laugh "I'm sure you saw the blogs. Kelly Kelly caught on camera kissing a married man."

Yelena recalled briefly hearing about it, but as fast as the story broke, it was put out like a small fire "What happened?"

"He denied it, of course, even with the evidence all over the Internet. He was the innocent one and I became the pariah, the slut, whatever you want to call it. People like Chris has the ear of the people who matter in the business. He can make anything go away. There's a reason I never looked back when I left."

The blonde tossed her hair over her shoulder "But I guess there was something special about you." Her eyes raked over the photographer maliciously "Since he didn't throw you away like the rest of us. I knew it from the day he noticed you at my last photo shoot all those years ago."

Kelly hasn't meant for it to come out so nasty, but she couldn't forget the woman in front of her and how she ruined everything she had fought so hard for. One glance. Completely by accident. She and Chris had just finished a heated argument over the rumors going around about them. He had told her to keep her mouth shut about them, but Kelly was hell bent on telling everyone the truth. They exchanged some nasty words and he had turned to leave, running straight into a brown haired woman with the enchanting green eyes. She had excused herself and informed Kelly that they were ready for her on the set. Chris hadn't taken his eyes off of her the whole time she spoke and she saw the hunger in the Canadian's eyes, as clear as day.

"Don't think you'll ever be the only one Yelena." Kelly told her before exiting the bathroom

Yelena's stomach turned and she quickly backtracked to the stall, heaving up her breakfast. Angry tears burned her eyes. She should have known that there was no way she was the only one who fell victim to Chris's games. She was disgusted, not just with him, but with herself. Little did Kelly know, she had escaped from Chris's web unscathed and Yelena envied her. How lucky she was, whether she thought so or not. The blonde was now a successful model, engaged and living freely, while Yelena was completely alone, unemployed, and expecting a child from a man she now loathed. Which brought her back to the question at hand: why had she been so special?

June 20, 2014

Yelena hung up the phone just as Rosa returned home from the gym

"What are you grinning about?"

"That was the guy calling about my place. They said I can come by and pick up the keys tomorrow and move in."

"That's great." Rosa said with a small pout

"Oh, don't make that face." Yelena laughed "I'll only be like ten minutes away."

"I know, but who's going to cook for me now? I don't want to go back to surviving on take out."

"After I move in, I'll cook us lunch and dinner."

"Sold!" Rosa said

Yelena spent the rest of the day, making calls and getting a U-Haul truck. The move was so last minute and she didn't know how she and Rosa were going to get her stuff in the new place

The next morning, she was brushing her teeth when she heard a knock on the door. Rosa poked her head out of her bedroom door

"Who is it?" Yelena whispered loudly

"Open it!" Rosa told her before closing her door, most likely to put on clothes since she had a habit of sleeping naked

Yelena tried to look out the peephole, but whoever it was had smartly placed a hand over it. She cautiously opened the door, her face breaking out into a grin "Oh god." she laughed "What are you doing here?"

Dean and Seth snatched her up, practically crushing her in between their rock solid bodies, embracing her.

"So this is where you've been hiding?" Roman asked, wrapping his massive arms around her after the other two Shield members released her.

"Right under our nose." Seth laughed, ruffling her bedhead "Nice bedhead." He grinned

Yelena grinned back at the inside joke "Do you hate it?"

"I love it. You look like one of those Porcelain dolls." Dean said in approval

"What are you guys even doing here?" Yelena asked. She was truly happy to see the trio. It seemed like forever and she missed them. She felt like such an outsider

"We're here to help you move of course."

"Rosa told us you were cooking afterwards, we were pretty much sold." Roman laughed

Yelena playfully rolled her eyes "I should have known."

"So... I'm in the mood for pasta." Dean said outright "Let's see if you get any wifey points for something other than breakfast food."

She punched his arm lightly "Let me go get dressed and we can get going."

The guys silently watched her go to the back before Seth spoke "Something's... Different about her..."

"Her ass in those little shorts? It's her ass in those shorts, isn't it?" Dean questioned with a grin, winning him a smack to the back of the head from Roman

"A girl doesn't just up and quit and move to another state for no reason." Seth mused

"It's none of our business. We're just here to help. She'll tell us whatever is going on when she's ready."

Yelena plopped down on a third of her sectional in her new place, exhausted, but satisfied. She breathed in the familiar scent of her furniture, glad to finally have a place to call her own. They had been unloading all of her stuff for three hours now in the heat and she was ready for the day to be over already

"Where do you want this?" Dean asked, holding a box

She pushed her tired body off the couch and scanned it for a label "In my bedroom."

Dean gave her a mischievous grin "What's in it?" he asked, shaking it like a child on Christmas Eve

"If I so much as see a corner of the tape peeled, I'll gut you Ambrose." She threatens as he swaggered past her to her new bedroom

Seth and Roman came in, carrying another piece of her couch and set it in place. They were both sweating profusely and Roman's hair was a mess.

Seth passed out in the middle of the floor, breathing heavily as Dean returned "Why the hell are we the only ones doing the hard part?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at the Ohio native

Dean only shrugged "I'm supervising."

Roman sat down next to Yelena, pulling his hair from the elastic band and smoothing it down before returning it to its bun at the nape of his neck "That was the last of it Baby Girl."

Rosa came in, dragging in a brand new entertainment center box with a big red bow on it "Since Dean didn't do shit but watch." she huffed, shooting an accusatory glance at the sandy blonde "He can have the honors of putting this together while we go groceries shopping. The cable guy should be here any minute."

Yelena stood and stretched "You two don't lift a finger to help him." She told Seth and Roman sternly

"Fine by me." Seth agreed

"Like I need those two idiots help anyway!" Dean said, rolling his eyes as he opened the massive box, pulling out the instructions manual. He studied it intently before flipping it upside down in confusion

"Give me that you buffoon." Seth said, snatching the paper out of his hands. He took one look and his eyebrows knitted together "What the hell?"

"How many Shield members does it take to screw in a light bulb." Rosa snorted

Roman sighed heavily, rolling his grey eyes "Apparently all of them. I have the same one at home and I put it together without the manual." He said, getting started in the stand while the other two men bickered

Yelena laughed, grabbing her purse and grocery list as she and Rosa headed out the door

...

"I missed those guys." She admitted as she tossed four boxes of linguine noodles in the cart

"So you're not mad that I asked them to help?" Rosa asked

"No." Yelena told her honestly as they turned on the freezer aisle, where she grabbed three bags of shrimp.

"They missed you too, you know. A lot of other people do."

Yelena lowered her head "I'm just... Really not ready to face everyone."

Rosa patted her shoulder comfortingly "I know."

Yelena was grateful for the silence in conversation that followed. She didn't know why she was so terrified of seeing people. They were her friends and for the ones who weren't, she owed them explanation whatsoever. She just had to keep reminding herself of that for the next six months.

When they returned to her apartment, her brand new entertainment center was put together, her flatscreen blaring Sports Center.

"Thanks Ro." She said, placing a smooch on his cheek

"Hey, I helped, where's my kiss?" Dean demanded

Yelena purposely walked straight passed him and placed a wet one in Seth's scruffy face "Thanks Rollins."

He grinned his goofy grin at her "No problem."

"Last but not least?" Dean said with open arms "No need to be so formal with me."

She started at him with her arms wide, but sidestepped him, placing him in a headlock

"How cute." He managed to choke out "Where'd you learn that? Orton?" He said, breaking her hold and picking her up with little to no effort.

They rough housed a bit until Rosa broke it up "Dean, be careful with her, she's-"

Yelena sent her a horrified glance, widening her eyes at the Latina

"Fragile." She finished

"Fragile my ass!" Dean said, rubbing at his neck where He could have swore she bit him

"Stop being a sore loser and go get the groceries out of the car." Rosa told him

Dean let out a growl and did as he was told, narrowing his eyes at Yelena as he went.

"Come on, let's go unpack the kitchen so we can get started on dinner." Rosa said

"Need any help?" Seth asked from the floor, where he was tapping away on his phone

"No, you guys have already done so much. Relax, we've got this." Yelena insured them

It didn't take them long to find what they needed and get everything else stored away. Yelena loved her kitchen. It was bigger than her last one with plenty of room. She loved the open spaces and the archway doors that lead to each room. She admired her own little backyard area and couldn't wait to set up her patio. She fell in love with her bathroom. First chance she got, she was going to soak her life away in the jacuzzi tub. The guest room soon to be turned nursery was a perfect size. She made a note to make sure she inquired about painting and a safety gate for the stairs.

She smiled to herself, placing a hand on her growing midsection . It wasn't her ideal dream house to raise a baby, but she was grateful. All those years of saving and not having to pay rent for the condo her father had bought her had paid off in the end for her.

After they prepped and got started on dinner, she went about lighting her new Sugar Plum Yankee candles, her gift Christmas gift from Aksana last year.

"I can't help but feel like you're trying to seduce me." Dean rasped as she placed a candle on the end table next to the couch

"You wish Ambrose" she laughed, knocking his feet from her coffee table

Rosa came in, wiping her hands on a towel "I just took the bread out of the oven." She told her

"One point for Rosa." Seth snorted

Rosa politely flipped him the bird.

Yelena had the pleasure of serving the men their meal, which was like feeding a small army. She was pleased to see them full and satisfied before seeing them off.

"Thank you guys. I don't know what I would have done without you." She said, wrapping her arms around them at the door

"It was no trouble at all." Seth assured, ruffling her dark hair

She hugged him around the neck

"Don't be a stranger Ulyanova." Roman threatened with a wink

"Yeah. We know where you live." Dean reminded her "Good night Doll Face."

"Night Deano."

Rosa hugged her tightly "Are you going to be alright here by yourself? I feel like you need some kind of protection."

"I'll be fine." Yelena told her

"Call me if you need anything."

"I will."

Yelena waved as they all got in their cars and shut her door, securing the locks and punching in her security code before looking around with a small smile. First order of business

"Time for a soak."

So? What did you think? Poor Yelena. She has a lot of growing to do. REVIEWS ARE WELCOME! Good reviews= new chapter!

So... I've had a lot of people ask me if there is any hope for Yelena and Randy... When I first thought about doing this sequel, I was dead set on Yelena having the abortion so she could have some hope of getting Randy back, but as you can see, that's not the direction my mind took me. A lot of my plans changed and sadly one of them was Yelena and Randy getting back together for now... Who knows... Things could change again. Keep reading. You never know where things will end up. Thanks for reading! Don't forget to review!
