This is way overdue, I know people and I apologize. Work as been kicking my ass and I've had serious Writer's Block. Bare with me. I think there are so many ideas running through my head for this story that I'm forgetting to pace myself.

Two Weeks Later

July 6, 2015

Yelena pulled on her pink Skyscape shoes, tying the laces before pulling her hair into a high ponytail. Grabbing her keys, she passed down the stairs to the kitchen, where she slid the glass door that lead to her back yard open

"Bane?" she called loudly

Hurried footsteps sounded and a few seconds later, her seven week old Great Dane puppy came scurrying in.

After moving in, she decided that she needed a little more security since she wasn't living in a building anymore. It was the perfect opportunity to get the dog she always wanted. She fell in love with the adorable all black pup the moment she laid eyes on him. In the three weeks since she got him, he was already house broken and trained to sit and stay on command thanks to the obedience classes she found online. He was a very intelligent canine and caught on fairly quickly.

She smiled as the puppy ran circles around her feet as she grabbed his leash of the hook "Sit." she said in Russian. He immediately followed and plopped down, his tail wagging.

Yes, she had taught him his commands in Russian, a smart move so he would obey no one but her. She gave him a small treat before hooking his leash to the red collar around his neck, the tags jiggling loudly.

She lead him out of the house, locking the doors behind her and they walked down the mouth of the driveway onto the sidewalk. She popped her earbuds in and slid her armband on that held her phone and key, cranking up the music. After her last doctors appointment, her OB/GYN had assured her that light jogging was fine since her body was use to it. As long as she took it easy and didn't do any serious lifting. She started working out again at the neighborhood gym and going for jogs with her precious puppy to keep active. She was slightly mortified when the nurse weighed her and was told that she had already gained five pounds. She knew that it wasn't really her fault, but it still encouraged her to work out even though she couldn't over do it.

When they were done jogging the whole neighborhood, she was sweating, her thin tank top clinging slightly.

Back at her place, she opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water, chugging it halfway before filling Bane's bowl with food and giving him water.

She sat down at the table, glancing at the time on her phone, contemplating on making a phone call. After weeks of thinking on it, it was time to make a move on her future. She had a baby who had needs to be met before he or she arrived and she couldn't do that without a steady income. She hit call before she could change her mind.

It rang a total of three times before someone picked up

"WWE Headquarters." the secretary chirped into the receiver

Yelena closed her eyes. Here we go "Hi, this is Yelena Ulyanova. Is Mr. Levesque available?"

"Ah, Miss. Ulyanova. Please hold one moment while I transfer you over."

Yelena waited, drumming her fingers against her hardwood table, her heart hammering. This was a big risk. She would be a sitting duck for anyone from the roster finding her and as much as the idea did not sit well with her, her child came first no matter what. The ominous music in her ear came to a haunt as the call was received

"C.O.O speaking."

"Hello Mr. Levesque , this is-"

"Please, call me Hunter" he interrupted "and I know who this is. I've been waiting on your call."

July 10, 2014

NXT was like a breath of fresh air. She settled in with the hustle and bustle with ease like she never missed a beat.

Hunter flew in from Connecticut to Florida and personally showed her the ropes, introducing her to her new colleagues and making sure she was comfortable, which she was grateful for. They set up the perfect work schedule for her after she delicately informed him about her current condition, which he promised to keep under wraps. Once she was well into her pregnancy, she would take her maternity leave and work from home for a while. The perks of her new promotion, now the head of her department.

Her first few days flew by. She was glad to be working again, almost itching at the ideas she got for her new projects. The people were kind. She finally got to see the up and coming talent in their domaine and she learned a lot about the rookies.

She kept her head down and her mind on her work. The last thing she was worried about was getting overly friendly with the talent. The less they knew about her, the better. She didn't need anyone recognizing or pointing out the fact that she had dated or had previous ties with anyone.

She did manage to make acquaintances with a few people. Bailey was a sweet girl, always overly peppy and cheerful. Paige was a lovely girl, with her playful mean girl ways and extreme sense of humor. She enjoyed working with the up and coming Divas. Things were going to change once this group made it to the Main Roster. She felt as if the veteran divas were becoming all too comfortable with their roles today, all play and barely any hard work, but these NXT Divas? They're hungry, and they were scratching and clawing to get to where they wanted to be.

Yelena balanced a plate of salad and a small slice of cake on top of the stack of papers she was carrying, walking them cautiously to the table in catering where the blonde was already seated, saying hello as she sat.

"Don't look now, but he's staring at you again." Lana told her

On her first day in the job, the blonde- haired Russian beauty had inquired about Yelena's last name, printed on her new name badge and asked if it was Russian and they had been friendly ever since.

Yelena pulled a confused face "What? Who?" she asked, glancing around

"Over there." Lana said, motioning with her eyes to the left of their table.

Yelena shifted her eyes discreetly to the left in searching. A little ways over, green eyes met dark brown across the room. He stood at 6'8, built like a giant with sleeve tattoos and brown hair that touched his shoulders. Yelena picked up his "bad boy." nature that all the girls probably loved. He was good looking, there was no mistake about that.

When he noticed she had caught him staring, he flashed her a smirk, sending a curt nod in her direction.

Her face flushed instantly and she smiled shyly, before looking away, not wanting to give him the wrong idea.

"He hasn't stopped looking at you since you came in here." Lana said, beaming

Yelena picked up her fork, stabbing at the green on her plate "I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out."

"He's really good looking." Lana pointed out

"That, I did notice." she said, opening a folder, checking her work for the day.

"I think you should go for it."

Yelena chuckled "Baron isn't my type."

"Are you serious? Baron Corbin is everyone's type! I can't even begin to tell you how many of the girls have practically thrown themselves at him, but he doesn't give them the time of day."

He looks like trouble."

"Don't they all?" The Russian said, raising a perfectly arched eyebrow

"I'm just... Not looking for anything with anyone right now. The only thing I have time for is work."

Lana sat back, shaking her head at her "Amazing." she laughed "Girls would be salivating like animals, but you didn't even bat an eye. Let me know if you change your mind. I promised him I'd put in a good word."

Yelena's jaw dropped. She was flattered, she really was, but that was not something she wanted to dabble in. She swore to herself that when she agreed to take this job, she would steer clear of men, not wanted to mix business with pleasure because it hadn't worked out in her favor the last two times. Not that she regretted the later relationship. She would always have a spot in her heart just for Randy for teaching her how to love. Not only him, but herself.

And Jericho... Jericho had knocked her up without even trying and they weren't even in a relationship, the talented asshole.

"Thanks, but no thanks." she said with ease.

They chatted over their food and Yelena stood, smoothing out her skirt "Well, back to my hole." She said lightly. This was the first time she had been out of her office all day. If her stomach hadn't growled loudly, the sound practically echoing off of the walls, she would still be locked away.

"I'll walk with you. I have to meet Rusev of by the curtain for his match." Lana said, standing as well. She tugged her impossibly short skirt down

Yelena envied the woman's goddess-like figure, he long legs looking endless. Lana had the figure women would kill for, Yelena included. She regretted eating that slice of cake now.

Her own body amazed her at how fast it was changing. She was trying to keep up as best she could with it, but she was putting on weight with incredulous speed. Her doctor told her that it was completely normal, but she was having a hard time believing it. She'll be going into her fourth month soon and she was beyond petrified at what he body would start doing if she was already picking up weight this fast.

After her work day was over, she drove the short distance to her home, kicking her heels off at the door, her tired feet aching. She let Bane in the house, getting him fed and gave him water before going to take a shower. The July heat was brutal, and she hadn't quite gotten use to the humidity, leaving her a sweaty mess. She pulled her hair out of its bun, letting it fall in dark waves down her back, going into her bathroom, she turned on her shower, adjusting the knobs to the perfect temperature before stripping down to her bra and panties.

She stared at the small bump developing in between her hips, tracing it lightly with a cautious finger as if she couldn't believe it was a part of her body.

She fought the tears threatening to pool in her eyes. This was becoming a bad habit. At the end of every day, when she had wiped away her makeup and removed her clothes the shower, she came eye to eye with that little bump. Her baby. She could go the whole day, not thinking about it and then be reminded when she shed her clothes that at the end of this year, a tiny person would be passed through her body, whether she was ready or not.

And right now, in this very moment she was not ready. She felt completely alone in this. Sure Rosa supported her, but Rosa wasn't going to hold her hand through this. She had a life to live too. She was too much of a coward to face her family, but unlike her ex co-workers, she couldn't hide from them for the rest of her life. They would get suspicious. Her mother will eventually squeeze her location out of her father. They'll wonder why she never visits. Or come around for holidays. Her father's birthday was approaching in the fall and everyone knew she never missed his birthday no matter what was going on.

She pressed a flat palm on her stomach. This was suppose to be her new start and it was already filled to the brim with complications.
