Yelena gave her phone a sideways glance, the phone number on the screen not computing in her brain. Whoever it was clearly had the wrong number, since she had been very careful since changing her number of who she gave it to. If you're number wasn't programmed in her phone, she was not going to answer it.

Sliding her finger across the red reject button, she pulled into the parking space in front of Rosa's building just as the Diva came out, waving

"Hey preggo. How's my bitch?" Rosa said, getting into the passenger seat.

"I'm alright. Glad you're back in town. Been kinda lonely with you and the guys gone."

"Awww. I missed you too. So what are we doing today? Shopping?" she said excitedly

"Yeah. I was thinking of looking for stuff for the nursery." Yelena said

"Were they able to see what it is yet? You had another appointment yesterday right?"

"Not yet. They double booked my appointment. The other woman had an earlier time. I'm starting to think this kid doesn't want to be seen. Last two times it was balled up. This must be the most stubborn child alive"

"Must take after mommy and daddy." Rosa muttered

"I disagree. I wasn't the stubborn one. He was." She said, rolling her eyes

"I beg to differ since you refuse to even talk to him."

"Let's not go there, shall we? I want to enjoy today. I don't want to think about him. I've done that enough of that for the past few days."

"Hmmm." Rosa grunted, letting it go

Her phone started ringing again and she glanced down at it in her lap "Who the hell?" she muttered

"What? Who is it?" Rosa asked a little too eagerly

"I don't know, but they've been calling me nonstop for two days, I wish whoever it is would fucking stop already." she said in annoyance

"Maybe you should answer it."

Yelena raised a brow "Why would I do that?"

Rosa only shrugged before pulling out her own phone "Never know who it could be."

They found a few thing. It was kind of hard to shop when you didn't know what gender you were shopping for. Eventually Yelena had to power her phone off all together to stop the damned thing from ringing.

"What time does the guys' flight get in?" Yelena asked as she parked in her driveway. She had promised Seth and Dean that she would cook for them when they got back in town.

"I think six. I'm not sure." she said getting out

Yelena went to open the door to the back seat where the groceries and shopping bags were and Rosa shooed her off

"Go open the door. You shouldn't be carrying this stuff."

"It's not that heavy." Yelena objected

Rosa reached into the backseat and shoved the bag of infant diapers at her "Here. Now go."

Yelena let out a sigh but did as she was told, unlocking her front door and holding it open as the Diva carried all the bags in one trip.

"My phone is dying. Where's your charger?"

"Upstairs on my dresser." Yelena told her, taking everything out of the bags to prep

While Yelena let Bane in and got started on dinner, Rosa sat at the bar and Face Timed Seth on her phone while hers charged. Seth did not look pleased when he picked up

Yelena fought a grin when she saw that Dean had a pillow propped on the Seth's shoulder, his head back and snoring loudly.

"I'm half tempted to throw myself out of the emergency exit." Rollins greeted with a frown

Yelena couldn't help but notice how adorable he looked through his anger, his hair pulled back, his glasses slipping down his nose. She missed her guys

"Don't you dare. I'm slaving away to make sure you have a home cooked meal when you get here. That would be very selfish of you." Yelena joked

"Look at him. The obnoxious douche. I just want to bash his head into the seat in front of him." Rosa said, rolling her eyes.

"You don't know the half of it." Seth said darkly "So. What are we having?"

Yelena laughed. Funny how he and Dean referred to the kid as the three of theirs "I don't know yet. My appointment got cancelled."

"Looks like we won't find out until you pop the kid out. How much longer do we have to wait? I've got a bet going, I want my money."

"Too bad you won't get it because Roman and I are going to win." Rosa said matter of factly

"Nah, not even. As difficult as that kid is being, there better be some testosterone pumping in there."

"Speaking of Ro, where is he?"

Seth help his phone up so that they could see the row behind him

"Awwwww." Rosa and Yelena cooed simultaneously. The big man took up both seats, but he looked oddly relaxed while he slept, his hair all around him

"Awww? Seriously? You know that's not Dean snoring? That's Roman. I swear the whole damn plane is shaking."

"I can't wait till you guys get here." Yelena told him

"Trust me. Neither can I. Three more hours and we're your headache babe. In the meantime, I'm going to attempt to get a nap in... If Roman's snoring doesn't cause us to go into a death spiral first." he said with a yawn

"Get some rest and we'll see you animals when you get here." Rosa said

"Alright. Later."

Dean let out a loud burp "Have I asked you to marry me yet?"

"Not today." Yelena snorted as she went to the small closet near the stairs to grab a pillow and blanket

"You're the best. I swear we'd starve without you." Seth told her

"I don't think Roman could starve if he wanted to." Rosa said, taking a swig from her beer

Roman was out cold on the sofa, a leg thrown over the arm of the chair. He'd already had three helpings of the Tuscan chicken pasta she made and after two beers, he was down for the count.

"Poor Ro." Yelena said, placing a pillow gently under his head and a blanket over the Samoan taking up the entire piece of furniture before flopping down on the couch next to Seth

He placed her feet in his lap, rubbing them gently

"What's for dessert Doll Face?" Dean asked

"You are such a bottomless pit. Who said anything about dessert?" Rosa said

Yelena rolled her eyes. She even missed the bickering between the two. With them all on the road again, she felt more lonely than ever. Even Wade was gone for weeks at times since he got summoned to return for house shows before making his official comeback.

"I made cannolis."

"Sweet." Seth said gathering everyone's dirty dishes before following her to the kitchen "I'll load the dishwasher."

"I'll supervise." Dean said, following suit

Seth was a blessing, scrubbing the pots and pans before loading the dirty dishes into the washer for her as Dean, as promised, watched, munching on a sprinkle covered cannoli

"I think your phone is ringing." Seth pointed out as he placed all the forks and spoons into the tray

It was true. It was ringing, but because she had switched it to "silent" it wasn't making a sound, lighting up on the counter next to Dean, who glanced down at it

"Who is it?" he asked

"I have no idea, but the same number has been calling for two days straight."

"Want me to answer for you?" Dean offered

"Knock yourself out." Yelena told him, putting the detergent in the hatch while Seth finished up

The Cincinnati native cleared his throat before he swiped the green answer key "Hello?" he said deeply

She watched him as his blue eyes glanced around curiously "Yeah...? Who is this?" he asked

She and Seth glanced at each other before looking back at Ambrose, waiting

When Dean's eyes widened, she felt her heart skip a beat.

In what seemed like slow motion, Dean removed the phone from his ear, his arm outstretching towards her, his face expression hard to read "It's for you..."

She took the phone, her eyes questioning him, but he averted his eye. What the hell?

"Hello?" she said, her voice echoing off of the now dead silent room. There was no answer for a full fifteen seconds. She had counted, waiting expectantly.

"You're a hard woman to track down sweetheart."

She fought the urge to throw up her dinner in the middle of the kitchen floor

"How... How did you get my phone number?"

"I have my ways."

Yelena rushed out of the kitchen, not bothering to excuse herself as she went out on the patio for some privacy

"What?" she asked timidly.

"We need to talk." he said simply

She cradled the phone between her ear and shoulder, pulling out a chair and sitting at the small table "Well you went through the trouble of getting ahold of me and here I am. So talk."

"As tempting as that may be, the conversation we need to have needs to be face to face." Chris said

"Absolutely not." she objected instantly

"Yelena I just want-"

"How many times do I have to tell you I don't give a fuck about what you want? It's always about you! It's always been about you!"

He went quiet again, fifteen more seconds passing before he spoke "I don't want to argue with you. We've done enough of that, don't you think? All I'm asking is that we sit down and talk. If you never want to see me again after, that's fine. I... I can live with that. Just... Please." he begged

Her anger simmered the tiniest bit, the baby giving her a soft nudge. Her hand found the the spot where the kick was coming, rubbing it gently. "No. I can't do this Chris. Not again."

"Yelena don't-"

"Please don't call me anymore." she told him, ending the call and going back inside, on a mission

"Doll Face, I'm sorry. I didn't know..." Dean said when he saw the angered look on her face

"I know Dean. It's not your fault. Excuse me." she said, slipping past them.

Seth moved swiftly out of her war path "You okay?"

"No." she said, going into the living room with them a safe distance behind her

She tossed her phone at Rosa "Get out."

"What?" the Diva asked, confused

"How dare you give Chris my number? You had no fucking right to do that."

"I did it because it was the right thing to do!"

"The right thing to do would have been supporting me and my decisions like a good fucking friend, not stabbing me in the back!"

"I didn't stab you in the back! In fact, you should be thanking me for having the balls to do what you should have done all along! A blind man could see that you fucking love him!"

"Get the fuck out of my house!"

"Fine!" Rosa said, gathering up her things

Dean and Seth watched silently from the sidelines, clearly still in shock

Roman stirred on the couch when the door slammed, his grey eyes opening "What did I miss?"

Yelena lowered herself into the couch, her head in her hands, forcing back tears. Dean and Seth flanked her on both sides

"You okay?" Seth asked when she finally stopped shaking, rubbing her back gently

"Mmhmm." she grunted, wiping her face

"So... Jericho huh?" Dean asked

"Ambrose." Roman growled

"No, it's fine. Yeah... Jericho. Not the best predicament to be in, but I take it a day at a time. I don't want to talk about him and ruin the rest of the night. I just want to enjoy the night with my hounds. How about a movie?" she said, trying poorly to change the subject.

"Sure. Anything you want Doll Face." Ambrose said

They watched The Expendables 2. When it was over, Dean and Seth said their goodbyes. Yelena didn't want Roman on the road when he could barely keep his eyes open. He agreed that the drive to Pensacola could wait until the morning

He grinned when he saw the mini baby mall in the second bedroom "You look well prepared."

"I'm trying to be. It's kind of hard when you don't even know what you're having yet." She said, trying to clear the clutter from the bed she still had from her condo's guest room

"Here, I'll get it. I don't want you straining yourself." he said, slipping the box from her hands "I remember when I found out Galina was having a girl. I dread the future ass beatings I'm going to have to hand out to any guy JoJo is going to date"

Yelena let out a snort "My dad use to put his shotgun out on the mantle in the living room when he knew me or my sisters were bringing a guy home."

"Smart man."

When she was finished clearing off the bed and making sure he was situated for the night, she wrapped her arms around the massive Samoan, who enveloped her in a bear hug

"Are you sure this is okay? I've never seen a man make a bed look so tiny. I could sleep in here and you can sleep in my bed if you'd like."

It was a queen sized bed, but with his six foot three frame, he made it look toddler size.

"It's fine baby girl. I've slept on worse beds." he said releasing her

She nodded, heading for the door, her hand on the light switch and paused "So is anyone going to tell me what this bet is about?"

"A bet on the gender."

"And what are you betting on?"

"I don't want to say just yet. We'll know soon enough."

Yelena raised a brow, but left it alone, turning out the lights as he settled into the bed "Night Ro."

"Night Baby Girl."

"Hey."

"What are you doing here?" Chris asked his ex wife

"I was in town." The blonde said, inviting herself in "And you have something that belongs to me."

...

Chris watched as Jessica slipped her panties back on under her dress, adjusting the strap on her shoulder as he buckled his pants back up. How the hell had he gotten into this shit again?

She made it very clear what she had came for, attacking him as soon as the door closed behind them. They hadn't even made it to the bedroom. He had taken her right against the wall in the foyer. She had barely given him time to put a condom on.

She grinned when she caught him watching her "So I'll take my things upstairs. My side of the closet is still cleared right?"

"No." he said

Jessica rolled her blue eyes "I should have known. I guess I'll use the guest room's closet."

"I'm afraid that's not an option either." Chris said, putting his arms through his shirt before pulling it over his head "You won't be staying."

Jess raised a brow "Is that so?"

"Yes. You got what you came here for. Let's not get the wrong idea. Me fucking you doesn't give you free keys to my house."

"You can't be serious?" she laughed sarcastically "Come on Chris. I thought we-"

"Thinking and assuming always got you nowhere." he said coldly "You can let yourself out Jess. It's been fun."

She snatched up her shoes, shoving past him to her belongings, snatching them up with haste "Screw you Chris."

"Mhmm" he said, unphased by her dramatics. He opened the drawer on the small table near the front door "I believe these are yours." he said, tossing the blue lace at her feet "Take care."

She grabbed them before doing her walk of shame, slamming the door behind her just as his phone started ringing.

Retrieving it from the pocket of his leather coat, his answered "This is a surprise Mendes."

"Bite me. Thanks a lot for telling her I gave you her phone number by the way."

"Actually I didn't. She must have figured it out herself. Wish I could have been a fly in the wall for that one."

"I'll bet, asshole."

"Could have saved yourself the trouble of you had just given me her address."

"No fucking way Jericho. Giving you her number was already a stretch."

"And now that she knows it's me, she blocked my number. So you've proven yourself useless again."

"You're an ungrateful bastard. And to think I was going to actually help you." she said "I'm hanging up. Goodbye Chris."

"Wait!" he said a little too eagerly, he ad to catch himself, closing his eyes with a sigh. He was getting tired of begging this woman but she was his only hope "I take it back. Just help me out here."

Rosa let out a huff "I can't believe I'm doing this..."

Yelena took a bite out of her cranberry muffin, deep into her work

She was at a local hole in the wall cafe not too far from her house that she visited once a week. The girl behind the counter was already had her face familiarized and knew what she wanted as soon as she came in.

So neck deep in work, she barely noticed when the chair scrapped back opposite of he and she almost shot out of her seat when she looked up.

"No. No no no." she said in disbelief "What are you doing here?"

"I told you. I just want to talk." Chris said, blatantly staring at her. He didn't want to seem like a weirdo, but she looked so different "How have you been?" he asked

"Fine." She said simply, still flabbergasted that he was sitting her before her.

He said nothing, still staring at her

"Stop looking at me like that!" she said self consciously. Thank god the small booth she was sitting in concealed her secret from his eye

"I'm sorry. I just... Nothing. You left." He said pointedly

"You and I both know it was for the best Chris."

"There you go again. Deciding what's best for me. You know I would have never let you quit your job like that."

"It wasn't about what you would have let me do. I decided to leave for me. Why the hell do you always feel that you can control me?"

"Quitting like that was a bit childish of you. What? You couldn't handle the thought of facing me after you did what you did?"

"Having to look at you every day, hating me? Yes Chris. You're the one and only reasons I resigned. Everything is always about you." She said sarcastically. He was getting her worked up in a way only he knew how. The baby was kicking wildly and she rubbed the spot thy was being targeted under the table

"I had to do what was right for me for once."

"You're fucking selfish." he spat angrily

"I'm selfish? Are you fucking kidding me?" She yelled

Heads turned in the quiet cafe and she had to remember they were out in public.

"You killed our child. You chose to do that. Instead of working things out with me, you fucking chose the coward's way out and murdered an innocent life. Now you'll have to live with that on your conscious for the rest of your life. All because you could be a fucking adult and take responsibility."

"Go fuck yourself Chris." She had heard enough, scooping up her things, she turned to flee.

She hadn't gotten up fast enough.

He caught her arm easily, snatching her back forcefully "No. You're going to fucking sit here listen. You owe me at least that fucking much!" he said, whirling her back around to face him

Her bag fell to the floor, her only shield to hide her out of the way, making her heart drop when his eyes fell on her stomach

"Is everything okay here Miss?" The barista asked from behind the counter.

His blue eyes were wide when they met hers "Yelena..."

"Don't." she said, her eyes welling with tears "We would have been fine. I'm more than prepared to do this on my own."

"You're still... Why would you hide this from me?" he demanded

"I couldn't do it... I couldn't go through with the abortion and I didn't want you to feel obligated because I changed my mind. This doesn't change anything" she said, reaching for the bag at her feet before turning to leave.

He followed her out the door "Yelena you can't seriously think I can just go on with the rest of my life like this didn't just happen." he he called after her, trying to catch up "You're pregnant with my child! When the hell were you going to tell me? When you had someone show up at my door to serve me papers? Is this your way of getting back at me? Through my pockets? Answer me!"

She walked briskly to her car and got in, locking the door just as his hand reached the handle, pulling

"Unlock it. Now." he commanded

She shook her head, starting the car "This doesn't change anything Chris. I'll do this on my own. I don't need you. We don't need you." she repeated

"You fucking bitch!" he roared, slamming his palms against the glass "I'll never forgive you for this."

"I was damned either way." she said, shifting the gears "Goodbye Chris."
