Chapter 43 Message from Eggman

Sonic's group arrived at a seaport in New City and encounter Knuckles who is holding a card.
"Knuckles."Sonic said.
"I saw Eggman on the outskirts of the city. "Knuckles throws the card to Sonic."He wanted to give this to you."
They checked the card."Sonic the Hedgehog. If you want me to return the Princess, you must give me your Chaos Emerald. Meet me at my base in White Acropolis."
"Huh. He's pretty cocky."Knuckles said.
"This is trap."Ruri said.
"Yes. I don't think Eggman will honor his agreement."Tails said.
Shinji thinks about it."I'm going."
"Shinji!"His friends and family said.
"I can't let him take Elise."He said.
"Well since Eggman went to the trouble of telling me where Elise is. I think I should thank him personally."Sonic said.
Shinji summons the Kabuto zecter and takes it."Henshin!"He slots it in the belt.
HENSHIN!
He transforms and they took cover as he pulls the horn."Cast off!"
CAST OFF!
The armor jumps off.
CHANGE BEETLE!
Knuckles sees the form and said:"Hey cool."
"Guys!"They saw Taeko running towards them.
"Taeko!"Shinji and his friends said.
She then saw them and smiles."Good to see your all okay."
"Another of your friends?"Sonic asked.
"Yes."Kabuto said.
She looks at Kabuto and smiles at him.
"Well follow us, we got a princess to save."He said.
"Right."She nodded.
At White Acropolis
The group arrived here and Sonic said:"This is a pretty cold place for a base."
"Good thing Yoshiko isn't here."Kabuto said.
"What could puns?"Tails said.
"Yes, like cold hearted."Kabuto said making some of them grunt.
They kept running and Taeko looks at Kabuto since she remembers the times they were together.
Flashback
When Taeko was in her old school she was in the same class as Shinji, she looks to her right to see Shinji sitting next to a window looking at a book.
She blushes a bit and goes up to him."Shinji."
He looks at her."Yes?"
"Would you... Maybe like to study with me?"She asked.
Some of the girls glared at her for saying that.
"Well... Okay, how about lunch?"He suggested making her smile and she nodded.
He gets up and walks with Taeko, then three guys went up to her."Hey babe, how about you come with us?"
She backs away from them.
Kouki saw that and said:"Don't worry i'm coming-"
One throws a rock hitting him in the head knocking Kouki down.
"Like we didn't learn from him."The leader said.
He tries to get her but Shinji grabbed his arm making him grunt in pain as Shinji twists it.
"Boss!"They tried to help him but Shinji dodges they're sloppy attacks and kicks them down.
"Leave now... Or do you want some broken teeth?"Shinji said.
He let's go of the leader making him crawl away."Sorry... Please forgive me!"He runs away with his goons.
Taeko stares at Shinji with a amazed look before smiling at him.
Shinji was they're guardian, much more than Kouki and she was glad to have him in her class.
Flashback ends
Taeko always loved Shinji, she was sad that she moved because of the exchance program to a different school and that Shinji stayed in they're old one because he couldn't leave Ruri at home.
She wished Shinji was with her, Kouki was a arrogant guy that expected that they would all look at him for help, but he could never take Shinji's place.
Many robots came to fight them and Taeko takes out her whip to hit them away.
Kabuto slashes at them with his kunai and the others fight them off.
"If he wants us to come why is there robots attacking us?"Sayaka said.
"He must be crazy enough to just kill us and take it!"Ruri said.
"Heh, don't worry."Sonic goes through many as Tails throws bombs and Knuckles punches many of them.
"Okay let's go!"Kabuto said and they went foward.
They kept going and arrived at the base.
"We're here."Kabuto said.
They went inside and arrived at a room with a viewing room above.
"Your late!"Eggman said from the room.
"Well, we had to deal with your little pets."Knuckles said.
"Where's Elise?!"Kabuto said.
"My, aren't we impatient..."Eggman pulls her towards him.
"Shinji! Sonic!"She said.
"Elise!"Kabuto said with the group ready to fight.
Eggman stops them."Ah ah. You better not move. Now, the Chaos Emerald..."Sonic takes his Chaos emerald out."Place it there." Eggman points to a capsule that rises from the ground while Elise shakes her head. Sonic places the Emerald in the capsule and it recedes back into the ground. Eggman smiles wickedly before he then presses a button on a control panel next to him." Hmph!"
A pink force field generates from the ceiling, surrounding them.
"Huh?"Aiko said.
"What?!"Knuckles said.
Knuckles tries punching the field but gets knocked back.
"It's no use. It's too powerful for you to overcome. Now allow me to introduce you to my latest creation. This is the Solaris prototype."Eggman said making Elise gasp.
He laughs and pulls a handle on a nearby control podium."With this machine, I'll be able to control the flow of time itself!"
The group are then sucked towards the machine.
"Whoa!"
They vanished making Elise shocked.
"Rest assured... They're not dead... yet. They've just been teleported by my glorious invention to another time. Who knows where they'll end up? It could be the distant past or far future. But my machine still requires some fine-tuning. In fact, what my machine needs in order to be complete, is your power."Eggman said.
"My power?"She said.
"Yes, I can finally complete my plans... Now that I have the Chaos Emeralds, and you... The Princess of Soleanna. That's all I need to revive the Flames of Disaster. And with its power, I will be able to control everything and rule the world. So, you would be wise to remain on my "good" side."Eggman said.
Eggman walks off and camera zooms to Elise. She puts her hands together to pray as she looks skyward.
"Shinji, I know you can do it."She said.
Note:Here's the scene of Sonic's team where they go to the future also they found Taeko, Sonic gave the emerald Elise had but Kabuto still has his.
