Chapter 68 Nighteye

Shinji was at school as he thinks about the new interships that are coming up.

"I have to find someone else. Mr Aizara wants us to look for someone else to try."

He knows Mt. Lady might be disappointed not being with him again.

Shinji checks at the choices and saw one for Sir Nighteye.

'Izuku might be going there, it could be a good choice to try.'

He knows someone he could ask for help to try.

"You want to intern with Sir Nighteye?!" Jill was on the phone with Shinji.

"Yes, he seems like a good choice now." Shinji said. "So if you can give him your word it could help."

Jill was a little nervous. "I can try."

Shinji nodded and he looks outside a window while thinking about the things to happen.

He thinks about the villains since they are planning something.

"You would better off with them." He saw a image of Infinite on the window staring at him.

"Tch." Shinji opened the window to not look at him.

'He's always trying to annoy me all this time.'

Getting rid of Infinite won't happen anytime soon, as that mask no matter what he does always comes back.

"Well I better prepare."

"Hey Shinji!" He saw Mina come up to him.

"Oh hello." He said.

"So did you pick who are you going with?" She asked.

"I asked a friend to ask the hero I selected." Shinji told her.

"Well I hope you'll do great. Not many has perfect scores." She said.

Shinji was one of the smartest students in class. As he said, hardwork can do many great things.

"Even scores don't mean much in the real world. It's just a key to facilitate a bit." He said.

"That's too cool!" She said.

Many see Shinji as one of the coolest guys in class. Many respect him to have come this far despite being a quirkless as he did it on purpose to help others in need.

"Well can we go out some times?" She asked him.

Shinji looks at her. "Very well."

'Yes!' She cheers in her mind.

Many of the girls that liked Shinji saw that and frowned since she takes too many advantages when he's alone.

Later

He was at the building of Sir Night eyes agency and he saw Jill coming to see him.

"Well, you ready?" She asked.

"Yes." He nodded.

"Okay, follow me." She said. "Also to join, you have to make him laugh."

He stares at her. To make him laugh, he wonders what is that supposed to do.

'Does he make this to make things harder for others?'

He goes with her and walked down the hallways. Shinji was already thinking what to do when he sees him.

'Before you make an action, you must be prepared. Jokes are not my strong point, but this is something you must think before seeing him.'

They arrived at the office and saw Izuku and Mirio there was Izuku was nervous.

"Izuku?" Shinji said.

"Huh?! Shinji?!" Izuku got surprised.

"Oh yeah, Jill made a suggestion for Shinji to join too." Mirio remembers.

"Well I came to make the test." Shinji saw Bubble Girl laughing on the floor.

'She must have a failed.'

"Now you know what you must do?" Sir Nighteye looks at Shinji.

"Make you laugh?" Shinji said.

"Yes."

Theres a silence as they stared at each other. Jill was nervous that Shinji can fail.

"Shi Kun!" Yoshiko appeared behind him.

"Yoshiko?!" Izuku got surprised.

Shinji has a anger mark.

"I came here to be with you!" She jumps at him.

He then uppercuts her away as she spins around hitting the ground.

"Wow, total knock out." Mirio said.

Nighteye stares and chuckles a bit.

"He chuckled?!" Izuku said.

"Slapstick is not bad. Alright you have a chance." Nighteye said.

'I can't believe that idiot is the reason.' Shinji frowns.

"And since she's also part of the act I can let her slide for now."

Nighteye was curious about her skills since her strenght surpasses many of her age.

"The green one was a insult to All Might." Nighteye making Izuku nervous.

"I'm sure he didn't mean to." Jill said. "Also your letting Yoshiko enter?"

"I was curious about her skills."

"Congrats Yoshiko." Mirio said.

"Yay!" Yoshiko gave a thumbs up.

Shinji started to blow bubbles to get his head away from her.

"Isn't it great Shinji?!" Yoshiko looks.

He was inside a big bubble he made surprising Izuku.

"Hey I always to do that." Mirio heard of that trick.

"Shinji! Come out!" Yoshiko shakes it.

Bubble Girl got shocked Shinji made a trick she could never do.

'He's amazing!' She stares at him.

"Well I can understand he wants to avoid the idiot for now. But I have things to do before we continue." Nighteye said.

Jill nodded many times. "Of course."

After joining his agency she has seen he can be a little cold but she knows he's a good man too. She just doesn't want anything bad to happen to Shinji that would cause him to fail.

"Come on Shinji, teach me how you can do it." Mirio kept asking Shinji.

Shinji decided to keep himself busy until he can do the acceptance for the internship since one wrong move and he's out.

Izuku was thinking the same since he basically failed to make him laugh. Yet Shinji at least made Sir Nighteye get a small chuckle. Even it was small it was better than nothing.

'I hope nothing bad happens.'

Shinji looks out a window and saw a little girl with a horn walk down the streets and he was curious to who she is.

She seems to be in pain.

Note: Shinji went to Sir Nighteye's agency and he did okay thanks to Yoshiko appear as the slapstick helped his case a bit.
