Finals From Hell: SmackDown

Tokoyami and Komori stayed silent on the bus that was currently taking them to their final exam. Both students didn't have anything against each other. From initial observations, Kinoko could tell that Tokoyami was Shihai's version in class 1-A and wouldn't do anything to upset her. Tokoyami on the other hand saw Kinoko as 1-B's version of Ochako due to their similar looks. In the end, they were likely to be paired with each other.

Tokoyami coughed in his fist, "First allow me to introduce myself, my name that the dark beings of this universe have bestowed me is Fumikage Tokoyami. The gift of darkness that I was allowed to wield to fight in this dark world, and protect the people in the light from the beasts that reside in the darkness is called 'Dark Shadow'.' He looked at the girl and she seemed dumbfounded.

Something emerged from his back. It was his quirk. A sentient shadow being that he named lazily 'Dark Shadow'. Dark Shadow looked at Kinoko and then at Tokoyami and complained, "Come on, Fumi. For the love of God, try for once to talk clearly without the whole Mumba jumbo you like to use." He shook his shadowy head before saying, "What the edge lord over here meant to say is that his name is Fumikage Tokoyami, and his quirk is 'Dark Shadow'," The shadowy bird flexed his muscles, "you currently looking at him, sweetheart."

The mushroom-themed hero smiled a little, "Oh, okay. Well, I'll begin then… my name is Kinoko Komori, and my quirk is mushrooms. It allows me to spread mushroom spores that will grow instantly as long as the weather is humid. Each makes it hard for them to grow."

Tokoyami nodded his head as Dark Shadow suddenly yelled, "Wait, I have something very important that I need to ask. Seriously, this is something that can't wait anymore."

Both looked at him. The shadowy bird asked, "Komori, are you single because Fumi is single and ready to mingle." This made Kinoko burn up from embarrassment, while Tokoyami scolded his quirk for asking stupid questions and wasting time. The quirk merely laughed at them.

Tokoyami then looked back at the girl, "I'm sorry for him." He began to pet Dark Shadow, "sometimes, he can be extremely childish, but he means well."

Kinoko laughed a little, "Yeah, I understand that." She looked back at school, "I have Tokage in my class and she's truly a handful." She then shook her head, "Let's get back to the subject at hand."

Tokoyami nodded, "Yes, most certainly. We still need to know who will inflict on us the trials of Hera to push our bodies into extreme pain, yet helpful exercise."

Kinoko nodded, "Alright, so who do you think we might face?"

The boy was intrigued, "Hmmm, I think that we might face someone who works in close-range combat because even though my quirk is strong, my hand-to-hand combat is subpar." Kinoko nodded her head since she was in the same boat.

Tokoyami added, "But it could also be someone who can counter us both like Endeavour."

Both students shivered at the thought of facing the number two hero. The man wasn't known for mercy. They were sure that he would make them bacon the moment they walked through the gates. Yeah, this was something that wasn't on their to-do list.

Kinoko had a terrified face, "Just thinking about facing Endeavor is enough to make me quit the exam altogether. If that's the case, the teachers are planning to make us fail." The nervous jitter in her legs was in full force just thinking about fighting the number two hero.

"Indeed," Tokoyami nodded his head with his own dreadful expression, "Facing Endeavour will bring us to our knees unless they put many restrictions on him."

The bus finally came to a stop. Both students stepped out of it to look at their examination site. They were both dreadful. Just from looking at it, they could tell that it was a giant maze of greenery. One question passed through their minds, 'Where the hell does U.A. get funding for this? It seems ridiculous at this point.'

Their examination site seemed to be a huge garden maze. It had high walls from grass that were cut neatly. They could hear their own breathing due to the silence. It felt like they were about to get lost inside of it. They could notice the many curves and turns from outside. The two stepped in and officially began their exams. They hoped they could pass.

Tokoyami yelled, "Dark Shadow, stay on guard. Also, go into the air and direct us where to go." The shadowy bird appeared from his back and said, "Alright, Fumi. I'll keep you both safe and guide you to the gate." The shadowy bird looked around for any movement and searched for the exit gate.

Both students have already watched about 13 matches, and most of them had the examiner blindside the students and attack them out of nowhere.

Kinoko raised her humidity guns. She watched everything carefully, but nothing happened. The smell of the grass assaulted her nose making her sneeze a bit. She could have sworn she heard someone say to her, "Heroes must remain quiet. Guess you just aren't cut for it."

The girl shook her head and moved on forward. All of a sudden, 6 1-pointers emerged in front of them. The girl quickly used her quirk to subdue three 1-pointers. She sprayed the pointers with water allowing her mushrooms to cover their bodies and stop them in their tracks.

She looked to her side to See Tokoyami use Dark Shadow to grab two of the 1-pointers, and then smash them into the third destroying the 3 robots in 1 hit.

The boy looked at her and breathed a sigh of relief, "It appears that Endeavour won't be facing us today." he pointed at the robots, "This isn't his style. He's usually more um… confrontational."

Kinoko, although still worried about the exam, had a huge grin of relief on her face. "I feel like someone just relieved from one of my greatest fears in my life."

She heard a voice in her head, "It's because you aren't made to be a hero. What will you do if you faced a villain as strong as Endeavor? Run away."

The girl looked around with a confused expression. Fumikage asked her, "Did you hear anything?"

The girl gulped a little, "I swear I heard someone talking to me." She looked around, "It was like a voice in my head." She was sure that she heard someone this time.

Fumikage looked around but saw nothing, "I believe you, but there is no one around us."

The boy then said, "If we aren't facing Endeavor, who are we facing? Could it be Snipe or perhaps…" the boy was knocked out of his thoughts when a voice in his head spoke, "Just be careful that you don't maim anyone with your quirk. You already lack control over it."

The boy jumped around, "What in the…" his face was confused and panicked. Dark Shadow looked at him and asked, "Is there something wrong, Fumi? You seem to be startled." Kinoko also had a worried expression on her face for her teammate.

The boy wiped his forehead, "Nothing to worry about. It was just the wind." They both carried on.

The atmosphere became thick all of a sudden. Both students heard voices in their heads which made them highly nervous. Were they hallucinating things? Was the pressure of the exam finally managing to get to them? They continued to walk in the maze.

Kinoko then heard the voice say, "What a disgusting quirk! How is anyone supposed to feel comfortable around her? She'll probably make them pass out from throwing up."

The girl suddenly shouted, "SHUT UP. MY QUIRK IS AMAZING! I AM A HERO!"

The bird boy looked at her clearly stunned as she began to apologize, "I'm so sorry, Tokoyami. I just lost my cool. I don't what came over me." The boy patted her on the back, "Don't worry, Komori. I don't blame you, because I also have my own outbursts, but we must focus on the…"

A small explosion happened beside them, but Dark Shadow managed to shield them from it.

The shadowy bird looked and saw two 3-pointers ready to launch their attacks on the group, but he acted quickly and began to subdue the machines, but Tokoyami suddenly heard, "Be careful that you don't lose control over your quirk. He might hurt your partner."

The boy in a moment of confusion recalled Dark Shadow back before he can finish off the remaining 3-pointer. Kinoko saw this and quickly acted spraying the robot with her water gun causing mushrooms to cover it before finding an off switch on the machine.

Tokoyami looked at Kinoko and apologized, "Komori, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me all of a sudden. One moment I was fighting the 3-pointers, the next I'm recalling my quirk because I heard a voice saying that it might go on a rampage and hurt you."

Kinoko bit her lip worriedly, but at the same time she was relieved that she wasn't going crazy, "I believe Tokoyami, but can you think of anyone who can do this?"

The boy focused his thoughts when he heard a voice, "Be careful. We don't want a repeat of kinder garden. You let Dark Shadow away from your watchful eye for a moment and he attacked anyone."

Meanwhile, the girl heard someone speak in her mind, "I heard that you want to be an idol hero. What a shame! You want to be eye candy for pervs. Maybe Stain did have a point about fakes."

Both students looked at each other worried at the voice they were hearing. Tokoyami said, "I can only think of Mind Fright. He's the second-year math teacher, but his quirk allows him to project mental images onto someone's mind…" the boy then added, "There's also Scarecrow. He's the biology teacher of the third-year students. His quirk allows him to induce a variant of gases that causes fear and visual and auditory hallucinations." The boy shook his head, "But none fit the profile of our opponent. I'm quite worried."

Kinoko had a worried expression of her own but powered through, "I know that the situation isn't convenient, but we need to stay strong." They both spotted a couple of 2-pointers.

The boy and girl heard the voice again making them quiver in worry, but attacked the machines.

Back in the teacher's room, Vlad looked at Kinoko with evident worry in his eyes, "This is horrible. Did we have to go this far and put both our students through what could be called psychological torture? I mean look at them…" they saw both students looking physically fine.

Aizawa sighed, "As much as I hate seeing my student like this, it's for their own good. They both need to tackle such challenges head-on without giving in or losing their cool. Komori needs to grow a spine. Hound Dog said that she sees herself as less than others due to her quirk and the reason why she chose to be a hero. Tokoyami needs to learn how to handle Dark Shadow even when he isn't in a good mental condition." He just hoped that the hero they enlisted to help won't push the limit too much.

Nezu sipped from his tea, "Well, it's too late to change anything now. Half an hour has passed, but both students are being hindered by their own insecurities. Let's see what happens next."

In the observation room, Sero asked, "Why are they both lashing at nothing? It's like they're arguing with someone in their heads. Did they crack under pressure?"

Ochako replied, "That's not possible. Tokoyami is one of the most level-headed people I know, so it doesn't make sense for him of all people to suddenly crack under pressure."

Sero snorted, "Well, the video shows us otherwise. Just look for yourself." The screen showed Tokoyami yelling at a bush while Dark Shadow attacked it. He was about to be hit by a 1-pointer but Kinoko pushed him out of the way.

Bondo, who came back from the infirmary, asked Izuku, "Midoriya, do you think you have an idea about whom they are facing?" the boy tapped his chin, "It seems that they are quite formidable."

Izuku shook his head, "Not strong, but smart and crafty."

Momo asked him, "Why do you think so, Midoriya?"

Izuku replied, "Look at most of the exams. Most of the examiners tried to destroy us through various means whether it attacking us head-on, traps, or robots, but they never succeeded." He then pointed at the screen where Kinoko ripped a bit of her hair due to the voice, "They are causing all this chaos from a distance. It's like they're whispering into their ears and making them go crazy." He tapped a pencil on his lip, "I have a vague idea of who they might be facing."

Back in the maze, Kinoko knelt over and began to cry. She couldn't help it anymore. The voice was just like her school bullies calling her horrible names. She knew that she wasn't the greatest person alive and her reason for heroics wasn't the most honest, but she truly wanted to save people.

The voice kept insisting that she was a bad person and a greedy one, "Greedy, Greedy…" the voice kept repeating in a loop. She looked to the side and saw her partner having a hard time of his own. It seems that Dark Shadow was beginning to get out of control.

She wanted to give up…

It would be much easier this way… but… but…

She then remembered her friends and their kind words toward her.

Itsuka looked at the smaller girl after Kinoko stated why she wanted to be a hero, "I don't think there's nothing wrong with being an idol hero. They do a lot for the community." She then punched Kinoko, "As long as you don't lose yourself to money." Kinoko smiled at her friend.

Setsuna smiled at her, "Well, everyone has to help in some way. There's nothing wrong with your dream. Your quirk is also awesome."

Tetsu cheered her, "Komori, your powers are awesome. Don't feel down."

Izuku looked at her with a smile, "As long as your heart is in the right place, you're worthy of becoming a hero, since at the end of the day, you're still saving someone from death."

But she wasn't like that. She wasn't greedy. She truly didn't care about money. She only wanted to help the less fortunate after seeing their struggles. Her friends kept encouraging her when she felt down. They kept telling her that her dreams were valid and that she doesn't need anyone to validate her. There was nothing wrong with being an idol hero.

She then remembered her father's and mother's words when she told them how she felt

Her father hugged her, "My princess, there's nothing wrong with your dream." He rubbed her head, "It's okay to know your strength. There's nothing wrong with admitting your weaknesses."

Her mother beamed at her, "We're proud of you, Kinoko. You're our pride and joy."

The girl stood up and shook her head. She can't give up all of a sudden. She had too much to lose. She needed to win this exam so she can travel with her friends to the summer camp. She needed to win to prove that she was a hero…

Being a hero wasn't about punching a building so strong that you make it fall, but it was about doing what's right because it's right. That's what her mentor told her during the internships…

Green Peace smiled at her intern, "I know just by looking at you that you feel a little bit dishonored by the fact that you're planning to be an idol hero but believe me that there's nothing wrong with it." The older woman walked with Kinoko to her garden, "Playing at your strength is better than trying to shoot higher than you can. Be proud of yourself."

Kinoko walked to Tokoyami and Dark Shadow who was about to rampage. The bird boy was having some type of crisis so she slapped him a couple of times, "Snap out of it, Tokoyami."

The boy looked at her in a panicked state, so she made a mushroom and shoved it in his mouth. The mushroom was programmed to calm down people.

It took a couple of moments, but finally, Tokoyami calmed down, and with him Dark Shadow.

Tokoyami took a couple of breaths and said, "Thank you, I needed that. I allowed that wretched voice to gain hold of me." The boy flinched when he heard it again.

Kinoko smiled, "It's okay, Tokoyami." She grabbed both his hands, "But going on forward, we ignore it. This is what it wants to happen. It wants us to fail and crash and burn."

The bird boy nodded his head. He looked at Dark Shadow who mellowed down due to the mushroom. The boy then said, "Dark Shadow, look for the gate. We're almost out of time."

The shadowy bird began to look around till he finally saw something. It was the gate. He looked at both students, "Fumi, I found it." He then whistled, "It's filled to the brim with robots."

Kinoko then said, "Please direct us there." Dark Shadow nodded his head and began to give directions to the location of the gate.

Finally, they reached the gate making them smile. They managed to use avoid robots but stumbled across a couple of traps. They also had to ignore the voice in their heads.

They looked at the gates and saw a woman with brown hair. She was wearing a cat-theme costume making them both groan in annoyance. They still remembered the last two encounters with the two previous members of the WWPC.

The woman looked at them and smirked, "So, you finally came. I thought it would take you forever…" The students then heard her voice in their heads, "…to reach this place. Time is almost up. Let's see what you can do."

The woman then sent her robots against them. Tokoyami readied himself to fight with Kinoko readying her water guns, "So, she's the one who was messing with our minds. Do you have any idea what to do, Komori? We're at a strict time here."

The girl looked and saw so many robots, "I think we need to capture her."

Tokoyami frowned, "I believe so too." He nodded for his quirk to attack the robots, "but follow my lead for now." Both students then went to engage the machines with Tokoyami flipping off their switches and Kinoko making them malfunction due to mushrooms invading their parts.

Mandalay smiled at the timer was down to a minute. She was about to defeat them. She took no pleasure in this, but the school asked her to be strict and give them no freebies.

The heroine then noticed that Tokoyami had Dark Shadow holding Kinoko and aiming her at the gates. She smirked and quickly made her way there as soon as the sentient quirk throw the girl.

The woman managed to grab Kinoko from midair as the boy returned to fighting robots. The woman looked at Kinoko who was smiling creepily at her which unnerved Mandalay, "What are you smiling about?"

The girl didn't answer her question, but simply said, "Checkmate"

The woman suddenly felt that her head was getting lighter and she fell to the ground. The last thing she heard, before passing out, was a click and the speakers saying, "Fumikage Tokoyami and Kinoko Komori have passed the final exam."

Back in the observation room, everyone looked at Izuku waiting for him to tell them the identity of the hero their friends just fought. The boy took a deep breath and began his explanation, "Her hero name is Mandalay. She is considered the leader of the WWP Cats. Her quirk allows her to send one-way telepathic messages to someone's head as long as they are in her range."

Both classes nodded, while the boy went on a muttering spree, "That explains why they were yelling at nothing. She must've been messing with their minds royally. Man, if it was me, it would have been game over, I don't have that much confidence…"

His muttering spree was stopped by Tokage smashing her hip against his. The girl looked at him with false sincerity on her face, "Sorry, Izuchan. I couldn't have my best friend put himself down in the finals." She put her face in his and added, "But seriously though, don't think like that, okay? It makes me feel worried for you." The boy nodded with a small blush.

The girl looked at the screen and said, "Even though, they passed, they barely made the cut."

Momo nodded, "I think the teachers wanted to see what will they do under a mental attack." Momo rubbed her chin, "Though, I imagined Tokoyami would be the one to snap out of it first."

She looked at class 1-B saying, "No offense though." Most of the class shrugged.

Kurorio came forward, "While your assessment is somewhat true, it's still false at the same time."

The girl tilted her head in confusion, "Can you explain your point of view, Kuroiro?"

The black user nodded, "While it may seem that Tokoyami has stronger mental fortitude, don't forget that he fights for two instead of one. In other words, once he loses control of himself, Dark Shadow will go crazy. Komori, on the other hand, doesn't have extra baggage to weigh her down."

Momo nodded, "That makes sense." She then bowed to him, "Thank you for the explanation."

The doors of the room opened. Everyone looked and their faces soured when they saw Mineta enter the room with an ice pack on his head.

The boy wasn't oblivious to the disgusted looks he was receiving. He didn't know what came over him to grope Pony even after she trusted him. She was one of the nicest people to him, even when he was a coward. He truly regretted what he did after he came back. It was truly uncalled for.

His parents weren't any happier. You could say that he was grounded till his children get married. It seems that his mother doesn't appreciate the notion that her son sexually harasses his female classmates. The lecture his dad gave won't be forgotten till he dies.

The boy walked toward the horse girl only to notice that multiple boys tense up and ready themselves to kick his ass. He gulped and lifted his hands in the air signaling that he doesn't mean any harm. Once he reached the girl, Kendo stood in front of him, "What do you want, perv?"

Mineta flinched a little. He usually didn't care about being called a perv, but maybe this time because he took advantage of someone who trusted him and said nice words to him made him feel bad. "I just want to talk to Tsunotori. I swear I won't do anything."

Ibara scoffed, "As if we'll allow a sinful troll like you near her ever again after what you did."

He noticed how all the girls looked at him like scum, but something that he didn't expect happened. Pony stood up and walked to him, "What do you want from me?" her voice was cold and lacked the warm tone she had when they first talked. Even when she first threatened him with the tank, her voice was still bubbly and cheerful.

The boy rubbed his hands together, "Look, Tsunotori. I'm really sorry for what I did. It was uncalled for and I shouldn't have pushed my limits. I hope you can forgive me."

The girl looked at him with half-lidded eyes, "Okay, that's what you came for." The girl crouched down to his level, "Well, you can take your apology and shove it where the sun doesn't rise."

The boy gasped making the girl arch an eyebrow in confusion, "What you thought that you can apologize and everything will be dandy and fine?"

The boy stuttered, "Well, I… I mean… I didn't… why…" The boy lost his words.

The girl scoffed, "A half-assed apology won't make me feel better." She looked him in the eyes, "Do you want to know why it won't make me feel better?" the boy nodded weakly.

The girl yelled, "Because you'll do it once again. You're only feeling bad right now, but once I forgive you, you'll go back to your old ways and try to grope me again."

The boy took a step back, "No, but I really mean it. I'm truly sorry for what I did to you."

"Tell me something, Mineta," the boy stared into her eyes, "Do you accept someone to grope your mother or your sister if you have one?" the boy remained silent, but looked away.

The girl stood back up, "So you don't, but you still harass anyway." The girl huffed and walked away before looking at him from the side of her eyes, "You want my forgiveness. You have to earn it."

The boy nodded his head going to his class who also seemed disgusted by him.

A few moments later, Kinoko and Tokoyami returned. Their classmates began to congratulate them on the victory. Kinoko blushed hiding her face, "Come on, guys. You're making me blush. I can't take it anymore."

Tokoyami from the side said, "It was a true trail of darkness. They forced us to face our inner demons. We almost lost the battle to our demons. We barely escaped the eternal pits of darkness."

Kuroiro said, "Too true brother, too true." He then looked at Kinoko and smiled, "I'm happy that you passed the final exam, Kinoko. You deserved. You're one of the best students in the class."

The girl had steam erupt from her face. Some girls began to swarm her, but the speakers came to her rescue, "Juzo Honenuki from class 1-B and Ochako Uraraka from class 1-A, please report to the bus that will take you to the final exams." Both students looked at each other and nodded.

Inside the bus, the two stay in relative silence. They were trying to formulate why they were paired with each other, to begin with. Everyone else had a pattern. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima were put against an opponent with no time limit. Tsuyu and Ibara were pitted against Ectoplasm because he can manifest his quirk anywhere taking them by surprise. Reiko and Tenya were thrown against Reverb because he can take away Iida's speed by destroying the ground making it harder for Iida to be fast and the shockwaves will make it hard for Reiko to concentrate. And so on…

Ochako began to break the ice, "Well, we have to speak eventually so I'll start. My name is Ochako Uraraka. My quirk is zero gravity. It basically allows to make things float around. It's nothing serious." The boy smiled under his mask.

He then took it off, "Well, I think it would be better if we spoke face-to-face," he coughed in his fist, "my name is Juzo Honenuki. My quirk is softening. It allows me to make any non-organic material soft." He tapped his chin a little, "Think of it like spaghetti when it's put in water."

The girl chuckled a little, "Sorry, but the metaphor you used is kinda funny."

The boy himself laughed, "I admit that it was a little funny, but…" he looked at the site of the examination that began to appear on the horizon, "…do you have the slightest why we were paired?" the girl shrugged.

The bus then stopped. Both students exited the bus and entered the examination site.

Ochako looked in awe at the site they were in. It seemed like a small planetary. The girl had sparkles in her eyes as she observed the model of the solar system with the sun rotating around itself. the planets revolving around it. It just seemed so awesome. The roof of the place was painted black with specially designed star-like lights…

The girl was thrown out of her stupor when Juzo poked her shoulder. She looked at him and blushed, "Sorry, but I really like space. I promise that I won't…"

The boy lifted his hand, "No need to apologize, Uraraka. I know how you feel. If this was something about geology, I would've been the same."

Both students then heard a laugh. They looked at the top and saw a smiling woman. She was wearing a pink shirt with the word 'Jokes' on it. She also had fluffy pants with flowers on them. She had a utility belt. She had her face painted with one half smiling and the other half crying.

The woman laughed, "Come on, kids. Do something other than looking at me." She suddenly summoned a small mirror, "I know I look good, but I never knew I was breathtaking."

Both students were knocked out of their stupor. Ochako grabbed a rock and threw it at the woman who dodged it. A bad move on Ochako's part, but it was needed to lure the woman in.

The woman then jumped toward Ochako, but the girl grabbed her by the wrist making her float.

But something unexpected happen, the woman was walking on air. The woman smirked at them, "You didn't think that this was going to be this easy." She then summoned a huge mallet and almost smashed Ochako with it.

Juzo tackled Ochako out of the way but didn't save her foot. The girl cried out in pain only for the pain to become panic when he saw her foot flat like a piece of paper causing her to yell, "What kind of shitty quirk, is this?"

The boy grabbed the girl and ran away hiding inside the sun model. He panted a little before calming down.

"I don't know," Juzo said, "But she must have weaknesses. We only need to wait." He then looked at her foot, "So, what are you planning to do about your foot?"

The girl didn't know what to do, but her foot wasn't hurting her. It only felt numb. She remembered old-time cartoons where the character would be flattened. He would then blow air into his body to expand.

The girl looked at the boy, "Don't laugh." The boy then saw her pull her flattened foot to her mouth and began to pump air into it. In a mere moment, the foot was back to normal.

"What the heck just happened here?" Juzo asked, "Is this some cartoon show or something?"

Suddenly, the woman from early popped from the ground under them, or at least her head popped from the ground, "So, you guys figured out my quirk this fast? Man, that was kinda sad."

The boy was confused, "What? Your quirk is cartoon physics."

The woman jumped from the ground, "Close enough, but still far away. It's called cartoon world." She then summoned a huge mallet, "And my name is Funny Bones."

She then swung the mallet making them both scurry away from safety. The woman then began to chase them acting like the road runner. The woman's legs were rotating in a circle giving her extra speed as she swung her mallet side to side. She eventually managed to strike Honenuki sending him to Saturn.

Ochako then saw a table, so she grabbed it and used her quirk on it. She threw it at the woman. Once the table was close enough, she let go of her quirk. The woman screamed in fear.

Funny Bones turned around and quickly drew a door on Mars's surface. She then opened the door, entering through, and closing it shut. The table smashed into Mars and was destroyed. Ochako followed after the woman and tried to open the door, but she couldn't. it was just a painting.

Funny Bones opened the door and threw a pie in the girl's face, "I hope you like Mochi pie."

She then closed it making Ochako try and ram the door only to feel her shoulder get hurt.

Honenuki wasn't having a good time either. He saw what happened with Uraraka and tried to smoke the woman out by melting Mars and trapping Funny Bones inside the ground.

He entered Mars through the ground and grabbed the seemingly distracted woman.

Once he sank down back into the ground, he noticed the woman was only explosives, 'Ah, god damn it.' The boy was thrown from the ground to Uraraka's feet and they looked at each other and cried a little. This was ridiculous.

They were forced to run away as Bones was now chasing them with a mallet. The woman tried to strike them, but both students decided to do something.

Juzo bent quickly and softened the ground catching the hero off-guard and making her trip. Ochako grabbed the mallet and swung it on the woman's head flattening it. She then used to make the woman float.

Funny Bones smirked, "Well, I guess you guys managed to make things a little interesting," she said pulling out something from her pocket, "so why I don't return the favor?"

Both students' eyes widened. She pulled out a stink bomb. They quickly ran for cover as Funny Bones put on a gas mask and said, "Have fun." She then dropped the bomb.

'I truly hate this woman!' both Ochako and Honenuki thought at the same time.

Back in the teachers' room, Nezu sipped his tea, "I can't help, but feel bad for those two."

Snipe asked, "Will you feel bad for the two that you're going to face in the exam."

The rat thing began to laugh madly making two students shiver in fear. Aizawa, on the other hand, was hiding because Funny Bones is Ms. Joke's sidekick and her sister, so whenever one sister goes the other for some reason follows.

Ms. Joke popped into the room, "Has anyone seen Shouta around? I wanna ask him if he wants to marry me so we can form a family full of laughter."

Nezu merely laughed, "He's in the corner." What followed was Aziawa running out of the room with the woman following declaring that he can't escape from her love forever.

In the observation room, Kamakiri asked, "What the fuck are we seeing here?" the screen was showing Ochako getting run over by a stampeding herd of buffalos, while Honenuki was being shot at by lasers from a cob corn.

Izuku sighed, "This is Funny Bones. The sidekick of Ms. Joke and her biological sister. Her quirk is cartoon world. This allows her to create a dome of a 10m radius where everything follows the physics of cartoons. There are also basic abilities like not falling down from heights unless she looks down, stretching her body through a small dome on her body so that her powers are always affecting her body under all circumstances, and at every moment…" the students were not sure if they should laugh or…

"But the big zone usually is very costly for her stamina…" Izuku added, "I would say that she has 5 more minutes before she needs to stop this zone because she's running out of fuel. She can only keep it up for 25 minutes. Add to that, everything she uses in that dome affects her stamina."

Ibara asked, "How do you know such things, Midoriya?"

Izuku shrugged, "I study online courses for quirks. She was my assignment a week back." He then added, "Plus, I met her last year at a conference and asked her all types of questions."

Monoma asked, "You're studying quirks in an online course, but you're already planning to be a hero." Izuku looked at him, "Why waste your time on this?"

Izuku answered lifting one finger, "First, I like studying quirks." He lifted a second finger, "It's always good to have a backup plan in case something goes wrong," he lifted a third finger, "and I can always go back to it when I retire or feel like I can't continue anymore."

The more the students thought about it, the more it made sense. Perhaps, they should have back plans of their own. Momo spoke up, "I have mine. I'm going to take over my parents' business."

Kendo added, "Well, I'm going to be the new head of my dad's dojo. I'm the oldest of my siblings. Plus, it helps that I'm his best student"

Kinoko interjected, "It's easy for me to switch from idol hero to fashion model."

Tetsu shrugged, "Mom has a small café that she runs, she said she wants me to have it someday."

Setsuna frowned, "Wait, am I the only one who doesn't have a backup plan in our group?"

The group of friends looked at her shrugging. Tetsu spoke, "Not our fault that you have no vision for the future." He ducked a flying fist only to get kicked in the family jewels by a flying foot.

The boy fell over with Kendo checking on him. She looked at Tokage and pouted, "Not cool, Setsuna." She crossed her arms, "You never kick a guy there unless they're pervs."

Setsuna chuckled, "I know, but I like doing that to boys." All the boys fled from her vicinity except one green-haired fellow who knew that she wouldn't hurt him.

Setsuna smiled and threw herself on the boy pressing her chest into his back. The boy blushed feeling her chest on his back, "Setchan, what are you doing?"

The girl moved a little until her legs were on the boy's shoulder and said, "Finding a comfortable seat for myself." She hugged the boy's head.

Toru hissed at Mina from the side, "See, I told you that they're meant for each other."

Mina looked at them and shook her head, "Sorry, but I'm still not seeing it. Mission Izuchako is still on my to-do list." The girl went away giggling thinking about her plans.

Toru looked, "It's like this girl is too blinded to see that Midoriya and Tokage love each other."

The speakers blurred to life, "Juzo Honenuki and Ochako Uraraka have passed the final exams."

The screen showed both students smoking and standing over a dazed Funny Bones. The woman was tied up in her own limbs with a cuff around her neck.

Both students managed to get the drop on her when Ochako accidentally left the dome of cartoon world with a bunch of hornets following, but when she was out of the affected area, the hornets disappeared. She told Honenuki that and after that it was a matter of planning and executing.

After many attempts, they managed to bring Bones out of her cartoon zone when Bones threw a bomb at Honenuki. Ochako deactivated gravity for all three people. Both students caught the sidekick before the explosion occurred. The explosion caused them to go out of the special zone meaning that Funny Bones lost her reality-warping ability.

When they were out of the zone, the students went into a brief wrestle with the heroine before using her own stretchy limbs against Funny Bones and tying her up. They sighed in relief when they won.

Once they finished, they both passed out from exhaustion. Medical robots were not far behind to take all participants to the infirmary to a rather angry Recovery Girl to get healed.

In the observation room, Kaminari whistled, "That match was more of a comedy show than anything." He tapped his chin, "though, I wonder what was the lesson that were supposed to learn from this one." A couple of other students pondered.

Reiko spoke, "I presume that the lesson was to not be reliant on your quirk." Everyone looked at her, "As you see in the match, Funny Bones' abilities negated Uraraka's zero gravity and also gave her the ability to escape from Juzo's quirk by simply stretching her arms to hold onto something."

Izuku nodded, "I think you're on to something, Yanagi."

Setsuna added, "But we all have to admit that the match was a laugh and a half…" the girl began to chuckle, but stopped when she noticed no one was laughing with her, "Come on, it was a funny match." She removed her head and put it in front of Izuku, "Tell them, Izuchan."

Izuku was about to defend her but smirked a little. The girl noticed this and her eyes widened.

Izuku then said, "Well, I wouldn't say it was funny, but it was entertaining a little." He then whispered into her ear, "But you can always find it funny because your laugh is beautiful."

The girl fell from Izuku's shoulders as her head returned to her body completely red. 'Did Izuku fucking Midoriya flirt with me?' the girl wondered in shock.

Izuku currently was burning up like an oven. He didn't know what came over him. He only wanted to give Tokage a dose of her own medicine. They both looked at each other and suddenly began to laugh.

"Well," Momo clapped her hands, "I think that it is a wonderful thing they won their match."

Everyone nodded as the speakers came to life once again, "Yosetsu Awase from 1-B and Mina Ashido from class 1-A, please report to the bus that will take you to the examination site."

Mina looked at the bandana boy and smiled, "I hope that we make a great time and pass the final exam together." Awase in his turn smiled at her and nodded his head.

Ibara went up to Awase, "Good luck, Awase. I hope you succeed."

The boy smiled at his not-so-secret crush, "Thank you, Shiozaki. that's very nice of you."

The girl blushed and looked away, "It's the only thing I can do after you gave me that necklace."

Mina yelled, "Come on, Awase." The boy looked at the pink-skinned girl, "You can flirt with your wife when we pass the exam." Both teens sputtered with red faces.

Awase silently walked outside the room with Mina laughing uproariously at him.

Ibara pouted crossing her arms, "I hate that she-devil. Awase and I aren't like that." She noticed multiple deadpanned looks at her as if asking her if she was joking, "At least, I don't think so." The girl said pressing her fingers together. she grew up in a religious household so she didn't have much experience when it comes to dating or love.

Everyone began to laugh at the religious girl making her puff her cheeks and look away.

During the ride to the examination site, Awase looked at Mina who gave him a cheerful smile, "So are you ready to nail this exam, Awase?" she then stretched her arms, "Because I know I am."

The boy smiled a little and said, "Okay, let's start getting to know each other a little bit. This will help us work better during the exam." Mina nodded her head happily making Awase sweat-drop at her cheerful attitude, 'I guess she is always this energetic. Let's hope she stays this way during the exam.'

Mina began, "I'll be the first one. My name is Mina Ashido. My quirk is acid. It allows me to make acid from all over my body, but I mostly secrete the acid from my hands." She chuckled awkwardly, "Don't want to go butt-naked everywhere…"

The boy blushed a little before recomposing him as Mina carried on with her explanation, "I can also control the P.H. of my acid to make it less deadly, or to make it highly corrosive to melt metals." Awase nodded his head in approval since Mina's quirk sounded very useful.

Awase began his introduction, "Well, my name is Yosetsu Awase. My quirk is weld. It allows me to fuse things on an atomic level. It's pretty cool, but it requires real precision and knowing your way around graphic design."

The girl smiled, "Your quirk is cool, Awase. I bet that we're going to win this thing."

The boy nodded his head. The two began to discuss strategy and what they might be able to do in the exam against any teacher, hero, or sidekick that they're placed against.

After about 10 minutes, they reached the examination site. It was a huge rocky land similar to a couple of testing areas from before. Mina looked at Awase, "Do you know where U.A. get funding for shit like this?"

Awase shrugged, "I bet the rat god of U.A. has some serious blackmail material on some big wigs to be able to have multiple arenas like these." Mina raised her eyebrows, but shrugged.

They walked into the site and began to admire it. It had many rocky hills. There was gravel everywhere. It would give Mina a hard time to skate here given the uneven land, but she can still manage after she manages to get used to it. There were multiple huge boulders.

Awase clapped his hands, "They didn't joke when they said U.A. likes to go 'Plus Ultra'."

Mina was about to speak, but she saw a boulder get thrown at them, so she yelled, "Duck! Boulder coming right at us." Awase jumped to the ground as Mina used her quirk to dissolve the boulder.

A voice came from the top of a hill, "You managed to dodge. I'm impressed." Something suddenly jumped in front of them making a huge cloud of smoke.

When the smoke cleared, both students saw a huge man in front of them making them gulp. He wore a costume similar to the theme worn by the other ladies from the 'Wild Wild Pussy Cats'. the man introduced himself, "I'm Tiger. The fourth and final member of my team. I bet you know who they are by now." Both students nodded, "Good. This makes this much easier. I only have one thing left to say…"

Both students stared at him, "…I'm here to beat you both into a bloody pulp."

Awase then tried to grab the man to fuse him to the ground, but Tiger rotated his body around causing the boy to miss him. Tiger then punched him in the gut.

Mina tried to throw some diluted acid into his eyes to blind him for a moment, but the man bent his back and kicked the girl in the chest knocking the wind out of her.

The man stood up, "Come on, twerps. Put more effort into it." He felt something attached to his legs. He looked down and saw two metal cylinders fused with his legs and the ground.

Awase then said, "Beat this, Catman." Tiger shrugged before bending his body inward and destroying the cylinders making Awase's jaw go slack from shock.

The boy then almost received a punch, but Mina tackled him to the ground. She then threw acid at Tiger but dodged the attack. She quickly saw where he was about to land and made acid there making the man slip and fall to the ground.

Awase saw this and used it as his chance to fuse him to the ground. He quickly ran toward him, but the man rolled away. Tiger stood up and gave Awase a vicious sidekick almost knocking the poor boy out of the game.

In the observation room, Momo said, "Another one of the 'Wild Wild Pussy Cats'." She cringed as Tiger slammed Mina into the ground before elbowing Awase in the face, "And it seems that he's the muscle of the group. He's quite um…" she failed to find the right word, "…vicious."

Sero snorted, "Vicious is the understatement of the century." He pointed to the screen where Tiger was bonded to a rock, but he freed himself by shattering it into a million pieces, "The guy's a walking monster. I feel bad for them just by watching this."

Momo couldn't help, but nod.

Izuku then spoke, "Tiger, the last and final member of the 'Wild Wild Pussy Cats'. He's usually seen as the muscle of the group. His quirk allows him to bend his body at unnatural angles."

Kendo added, "It seems he's the brawler of the group."

Kamakiri nodded, "I guess the reason he was put against these two was that he can easily avoid anything Ashido shoots at him and he's strong enough to free himself from anything Awase fuses him to." He said as Tiger grabbed Awase and chucked over his shoulder making the boy slam into Mina.

Izuku replied, "That's correct. He's strong enough to make Awase's attempts at fusing obsolete unless he finds something that Tiger can't destroy."

Kaminari asked, "Do they have a chance to win against someone like him? It seems a little bit hard." Jiro stuck her earphone jack into Kaminari making the boy cry out in pain.

The girl reprimanded him, "Don't say something like that." She bonked him on the head, "Just because you failed, others won't." the boy's eyebrows twitched in annoyance.

He smirked and retorted, "Alright, babe. Whatever you say." Jiro heard this and went red from embarrassment and began to poke the boy with her earphone jacks. Kaminari meanwhile only had one thought on his mind, 'Totally worth it.'

Everyone else sweat-dropped at the display while Recovery Girl sighed fondly, 'Young love.'

In the field, Mina managed once again to dodge a boulder that Tiger grabbed out of nowhere and threw at them. She looked at Awase who cracked his neck.

He grabbed her hand and ran away. They both hid behind a cliff out of Tiger's sight as they heard him say, "Get out here heroes, or else I'll bring this entire arena down on your heads."

Awase wiped some sweat from his brow. He chuckled nervously, "This guy is really intense."

Mina nodded her head in agreement, "So…" she fiddled with her fingers, "What are we going to do about him? He seems really tough, and everything we do ends up with us getting tangled together."

"Well, he's not invincible…" he began to think about where he was going wrong about this. He slammed a fist into his hand, "I have an idea."

Mina listened to his plan and smiled, "I think that can work. I can also improvise and help you a little in doing this thing." They both nodded and headed out to face Tiger once and for all.

Tiger was looking around for the two students that he was supposed to fight. His ears perked up when he heard something heading his way. He looked and saw a boulder falling downside a hill toward him. The man jumped away, but something suddenly hit his eyes blinding him.

"Argh," he cried out in pain. He felt an unnatural itch in his eyes like they were on fire.

Mina said, "It worked. The boulder worked." She then began to skate around Tiger whose eyesight was still blurry. The man began to throw random punches at the girl, but she skated away from him.

The man gave chase, "Even if I can't see you, young lady." He ran faster, "I'm still going to win this fight." The girl finally led him into a dark area of the examination sight.

This made things harder for the man to see things with his impaired vision. Mina then launched acid at him making a loud noise. The man twisted and bent his body downward making his hands touch the ground, but this was a mistake.

Awase quickly made his move fusing the man's legs and hands to the ground.

Mina walked up to the man and put the handcuffs on him and smiled cheekily, "We win."

The speakers then announced, "Yosetsu Awase and Mina Ashido have passed the final exam."

Both teens sighed in relief. Awase unfused Tiger. The man stood up and wiped his eyes and Mina said, "It will go away in a couple of minutes, but you should see Recovery Girl just in case."

The man nodded, "Good work, kids. You really outsmarted out there." Tiger patted them both on the back, "Let's go back now. I bet that you are tired. I'll buy something to drink. My treat."

Both hero students smiled and they walked with the hero to the bus to go back to school.

After a while, Mina returned to the observation room where they were congratulated on passing the final exam. Both students blushed a little at the praise.

The speaker came to life, "Toru Hagakure from class 1-A and Shoda Neringeki from class 1-B, please report to the bus that will take you to your final exam."

Both students stood and left the room. After a while, they were declared victors of their fight against Snipe. The sniping hero was sent specifically against them because he was the only hero aside from Hound Dog who can find Toru with the infrared vision in his mask.

Shoda knew that he had to keep the hero distracted from looking for Toru so he used his quirk to rain hell on Snipe. The boy would punch rubble from his surroundings in random directions forcing the sniping hero to shoot at the rubble to prevent them from reaching him.

After 10 minutes, Toru managed to sneak on Snipe and handcuff him.

Hey guys and welcome back to a new chapter of my story. In this chapter, we saw the final exam of Kinoko, Fumikage, Juzo, Ochako, Awase, Mina, Toru, and Shoda. Sorry for the last fight, but I ran out of ideas. The next chapter will be Momo, Setsuna, Monoma, Izuku, Shoto, and Kamakiri against Nezu, Aizawa, and All Might.
