Welcome to the next chapter of DxD – The Last Amagiri, but before starting the story. Let's answer some reviews:

altair96: Thanks. I'm glad that you liked their fights against the Hero Faction, as well as both the Balance Breakers of Maria and Layla. I worked on ensuring that the fight between them would be something that would have the most attention. That main henchman made the mistake of making Lingqi mad as she had ended up getting serious and activated Balance Breaker. In the end, Kensei did end up reuniting with Sun Wukong and Yu-Long, as well as them meeting his closest friends. I'll continue doing that.

Slimereader11: I thought that it would be good considering that Kensei does love watching anime, which is focused on fighting like One Piece. I know, you mentioned it once before in the PM.

Tiger versus Dragon

After a minute of walking, having finished their bouts against the Hero Faction, the group consisted of Kensei, Zane, Maria, Hisui, and Layla. But, also joined by Sun Wukong and Yu-Long found themselves standing in front of the wrecked base belonging to the Black Dragon Alliance. In witnessing the destruction caused, Kensei concluded that it was from an intense battle. He couldn't tell whether or not it was because of one person, in particular, or from a combination of the entire group in total.

In thinking about the people among the teams, he knew that neither of them would cause this much damage in a simple invasion. Just as that thought crossed his mind, Sun Wukong and Hisui felt a sudden presence from the building and looked to find something, no someone being sent through the roof.

At a glance, the person had an irregular presence for a moment, then a light faded from them moments later as if that person lost consciousness. It wasn't long until the person, who was revealed to be Gang fell to the ground in front of them knocked out. Based on appearance alone, the man looked to have taken quite the beating as blood could be seen at the corners of his mouth and multiple bruises.

"Hmm, there's something about this lad. It's not his sacred gear, but there appears to be something else about him as well."

Sun Wukong said, sensing that there was something different about Gang aside from having a sacred gear.

During that moment, the presence the three sensed before was gone and someone leaped onto the roof of that building. And it wasn't long until, that person leaped down where Gang had been sent, which was soon revealed to be Lingqi. For a moment, her expression looked serious, but it soon softened after noticing Kensei and the others there too.

"Kensei, I thought that you were all fighting against Cao Cao and the others," Lingqi stated, confused that anyone from the Hero Faction would leave a fight. It was then that she looked to notice both Sun Wukong and even Yu-Long standing beside them. Noticing the odd combo, it didn't take long for her to realize, who the two were, then bowed her head. "You're the Monkey King and Jade Dragon, correct?"

"Hmm, I see. You must be the granddaughter of that youngster Xian, the White Monarch."

Sun Wukong said sensing the ki from Lingqi and resembling her grandfather.

"A Xian?"

Kensei asked confused, recalling hearing that term when was learning from Sun Wukong and Xuanzang. A Xian is the same as a Sennin but was the Chinese term to refer to them. If Jie was one of them, then it means he'd be a much bigger deal than either of them thought.

"Ah, right," Lingqi seemed a bit awkward as she noticed the stares she was receiving from Kensei and the others who heard about him too. "I left some details about grandpa Jie that wasn't as important as the current situation at the moment. But, I planned on telling you all when this was over and done."

"You don't need to be worried. There are some things that we haven't mentioned to one another after a long time too," Maria pointed out, relieving whatever concerns were welling up within Lingqi. "You can tell us whenever you feel comfortable."

"Right, I'll keep that in mind. But, first, we need to detain this one here," Lingqi said, lifting Gang by his collar, then pointed him toward them. "He's one of Jun's five most trusted subordinates. So, more than anyone here, he can't be allowed to return to him."

"Hmm, this one here appears to have an odd ability granted to him," Sun Wukong said as the shadow under the unconscious Gang started moving as if alive, surprising them. "Let this one here handle this. Hah!"

Sun Wukong made a sign using his hands, then at that moment, golden chains started wrapping around Gang, as the shadow underneath him vanished and faded without activating.

"That's the same thing that Jason and Mason used that time, isn't it? Hmm, after looking at it up close, it appears to be some transportation technique granted to certain members. It'd be difficult for us to come up with a method of counteracting it."

[Don't be concerned master. I recorded the technique the Monkey King used, and am in the process of analyzing it. But, considering that it's a high-level one, it might take some time.]

Annelisse replied as she spoke from the grimoire around Zane's neck.

"That's good."

"Those grimoire truly are quite like Sacred Gears. But, you still have a long way to go before being able to reach that level. Although, there hasn't been one person who reached that point."

Sun Wukong mentioned as Zane wondered what he meant about that.

To keep from going through the hassle of hauling him around, Kensei instead used telekinesis to lift Gang in the air and caused him to float.

"Well, let's handle this situation. It appears as if there's a lot that we still need to talk about after all this is over," a serious tone could be heard from Lingqi, then recalled the previous battle she had. "There was a sudden change that I thought about, but hoped that it was just me being too cautious."

Lingqi replied as the group wondered what she meant about that, but Sun Wukong had an idea about what that could be about.

Since the situation involving the Black Dragon Alliance members was handled, Claire, Kunou, Rui, and Lena had sealed them using their particular powers. All the members were gathered outside, but neither of them displayed the same teleportation technique as Gang. Once the situation ended, Lingqi gathered whatever information was left in their base. She found herself reading over the documents, considering the amount that was there, Hisui and Rui assisted her.

"Hmmm, he was correct, most of these papers documents whatever their group was doing around China. And it almost holds nothing about wherever he's going next. Based on what I'm reading here, it feels as if coming here was a waste of time," Lingqi stated as she turned her head to face Rui and Hisui, who was assisting her in going through the documents. She didn't want to disrupt them, as the two seemed vested in noticing anything in those documents. "I'm surprised to see that those two are this invested."

"That's the president and vice-president of the Newspaper Club you're looking at," Kensei pointed out as he was right beside Lingqi. "Both of them also lead the group in charge of managing most of the information. If there's anything hidden between the lines of those documents then those two could find it."

"Well, I can see those two are better than me in that regard because I can't find anything here," Lingqi stated as she looked over to see that Sun Wukong and Yu-Long were still in the area watching them as things. "I'd never thought that I could get the chance of meeting the first Monkey King and the Dragon King too. The stories about him is something my younger brother lover hearing about, but that's because he was a mischievous one, too."

"Yea, but he isn't the same person he was in the past. He can still have fun too, but sometimes that involves Yu-Long being teased sometimes."

In hearing that, Lingqi laughed in imagining the relationship between the Monkey and Dragon King, finding that it was easier to calm down in this situation. She mentioned it before, but she hadn't thought that she'd encounter a group of people much like theirs after returning home.

"I was wondering. Do your teams have specific names for something because I can tell that the different members follow your requests?"

"Ah, I wasn't expecting that. But, Hisui and Rui, refer to themselves as the Jade Team for obvious reasons," in it being mentioned Hisui smiled and waved at Kensei, who nonchalantly waved back. "Maria and her team are the Lancelot Team. Zane and his team are called the Grimoire Unit. And my team and I are called the Sword Team."

"Hmm, Sword Team is kinda spot on for the team leader."

"That and I named it after the hero team that my younger brother and his secret crush love watching a lot. But, I did like the sound of the Sword Team."

"Of course, the swordsman and samurai descendant would love the name Sword Team," Hisui uttered as she tapped the papers right on Kensei's head. Laughing after that, she turned her attention to Lingqi as she and Rui, approached them. "Rui and I found something interesting written in the most recent documents. So, I think that all of us should gather together for this."

Saying that out loud, the others, who were preoccupied with other things gathered together around Hisui and the others too. She cleared her throat before beginning to speak.

"There were certain phrases from the documents, Hisui and I were combing through. It was mentioned that there was someone who entered Wu Jun sometimes in China and made him an offer. Nothing about the offer made is mentioned here, but there was something that caught our attention."

Rui pointed out as she allowed Hisui to finish.

"It is faint, but I can feel someone else's presence on this paper here aside from Jun's," Hisui pointed out as she held up the paper. "There's a slight malicious aura radiating from here, and there isn't much mentioned about the group details aside from the name. But, the aura feels similar too to the people we've been running into since last year and it might belong to the main boss."

"The Benefactor, eh?"

Kensei realized it had to be the Benefactor, as the aura somewhat resembled Hakki.

Lingqi seemed to listen in to the conversation concerning this Benefactor, more so since it sounded as if Jun was now involved with him. However, as things went on, the more it sounded as if her relationship with this new group she encountered was going to be continuing for much longer than she intended. Aside from the fact Jun was involved in this situation, Lingqi had no trouble at all in being around them a bit longer.

"So, what was the phrase?"

"It is, 'I welcome you into the darkness that enshrouds the shadows, and would soon eclipse the sun. Welcome to Yami'," Hisui replied as the others recalled hearing the same phrase and name during a news report from last year when Hikage appeared. "It looks as if Jun became a new member of the group named Yami, who've been responsible for the terrorist attacks involving Hikage."

"Great, now we're going to need to handle Wu Jun, who is now involved with the Benefactor, who we don't have the vaguest clue about at all. So, no matter what happened here, it means that we're all going to be handling Jun anyway. Counting both him and his group, there's a chance that we'll be handling all the men that the Benefactor gathered too," Kensei pointed out as he scratched his head, then turned his attention to Lingqi. "Considering that it sounds as if our enemies are now aligned with one another. Lingqi would you mind joining us?"

Kensei suggested as he turned his attention to Lingqi, who was surprised that he brought it out without her even needing to mention it. At that moment, she thought about numerous things which occurred in a short amount of time since she met them. It was an odd encounter, but since then Lingqi has had more fun with them compared to being in the Hero Faction aside from Jeanne.

There was no issue she had about joining the Kibou Alliance, however, there was something that Lingqi wanted to do before agreeing.

"I wouldn't mind that. No, I would love to join your group. But, before that," Lingqi replied, then wore a confident look and challenging smirk on her face. At that moment, a fighting spirit seemed to ignite her as the others around them felt it too. "If there isn't much trouble. I would love to challenge you to a fight, Kensei."

A surprise came from the fact that Lingqi issued that challenge straight to Kensei's face but then realized before she was the same as him. Instead of being mad about the challenge, Kensei instead wore the same challenging smirk and released a fighting spirit that matched hers. From the combined fighting spirits released from the two of them, the air seemed to shake.

"I wouldn't mind excepting that challenge. It saved me the trouble of doing the challenging for myself," Kensei replied as he and Lingqi stood face-to-face as the others stared at them. "I would love to fight a master martial artist and sacred gear wielder at their best."

As both the martial artists stood in front of one another, the two released the same amount of fighting spirit as Sun Wukong and Yu-Long looked on.

"Kensei hasn't changed in a long time. He's still the same kid from all that time ago, who's always looking forward to a fight," Yu-Long stated, looking straight toward Kensei and Lingqi. "I almost laughed that one time he fought me in a sparring match to test out that new Dragon Style he thought about."

"Hohohoho, yes that disciple of mine hasn't changed at all. Same as before, his talent and potential haven't come close to reaching their peak. I can see that he mastered the fundamentals of the three martial arts that I taught to him to the point of being no different from those who learned the advanced techniques. He developed a Dragon Style from hanging around you, and it looks as if he's started accessing his innate dragon powers. I'd hoped that my idiot disciple would've been the same as him," Sun Wukong stated, feeling nothing short of pride aimed at his former disciple. He then turned his attention to Lingqi. "But, that girl there is as good as Kensei there and she's a relative of that beastly grandfather of hers. Hmm, the more that I look at those two, it feels as if there's going to be a fight between a Dragon and a Tiger soon enough."

Sun Wukong stared at the young man and woman who continued emitting a fighting spirit from their bodies which was comparable to that of certain supernatural beings. More so, considering their particular lineage, where those beings were fearful of them.

"Hah, I'm so happy that I get to be here with Ken Ken~!"

Hisui noted as she found herself laying her head down on Kensei's lap, while her two tails fluttered about.

Sitting beside them was Kunou who was resting a bit after the ordeal that took place a couple of minutes ago. A bit of time passed following the incident, with Zane and the others managing to get their hotel rooms at the Jade Dragon Hotel. Considering the situation, Kensei and Lingqi postponed their fight, which would now instead be tomorrow after their group rested. Fighting against the main members of the Hero Faction and members from the Black Dragon Alliance, all of them needed the rest.

"Ugh, Kunou worked her hardest this time, Ken-chan."

Kunou replied as she found herself resting her head on his free thigh.

Having a Kyuubi and Nekoshou resting on him was an experience that he never considered would occur, but he wasn't complaining at all. Using his left and right hand, Kensei started petting the two beautiful youkais' heads, all while brushing their animal ears too. Reacting to that, the two mewled cutely, with their tails reacting to the gentle touch from their beloved fiancé.

"I thought that Kunou always tried her hardest."

Kensei stated, brushing the young Kyuubi's ears and causing her body to shiver.

"Yes, but Kunou worked her hardest this time."

"So, I guess that means that Kunou is expecting me to give her a reward."

"Hehe."

Kunou happily giggled at the idea of receiving a reward from Kensei, but then he noticed that Hisui was moving a bit. She positioned herself as she rested her chin on her hand, then smiled at Kunou.

"Hmm, it makes me wonder what kind of naughty things the two of you did alone in this hotel room," Hisui stated in a teasing tone, causing Kunou's face to turn red as she tried hiding her face using her hands. But, none of that mattered as the nekoshou could sense the clear disturbance and irregularities in Kunou's spirit. "So, both of you did do something here. So, what did little Kunou here do?"

"Uhhh…."

Kunou was feeling herself becoming more and more flustered as she continued listening to the questions about what she and Kensei did here came up.

"Don't tease Kunou. How would you feel, if, never mind," Kensei stopped himself from finishing his sentence. "I was going to ask, how you would feel if either Minako, Claire, or Alice asked it, then I forgot who I was asking."

"That's right~ If asked by my fellow fiancées, I'd reveal all the details of the love between Ken Ken and me ~"

Hisui replied, showing no issues about it.

As soon as Hisui mentioned that, the thoughts about all the things that the green-haired nekomata has done with Kensei ran through Kunou's head. Considering the amount of confidence and nonchalance she has about it, the thoughts caused Kyuubi's face to turn red. Noting the redness of her face, Kensei let a slight sigh leave out from his mouth, then placed a hand on her forehead.

In all that, Hisui could sense that instead of being more stable, Kensei's spirit felt similar to that of a heart beating from nothing short of excitement and exhilaration. It wasn't surprising considering that Kensei is the kind of man who'd looked forward to fighting a difficult battle, even if there was a chance he'd lose.

"I can see that Ken Ken is looking forward to fighting against Lin-chan."

"You haven't known her for that long and came up with a nickname already," Kensei pointed out as Hisui smiled to herself, while he continued stroking her head. "I can't help being excited to fight against Lingqi. In terms of our martial arts and ki, then we should be about equal. But, our particular fighting styles are different from each other. If we're put into the same categories as Rating Games, then I'd be more of a technique-type, while Lingqi would be a power-type."

"That'd be an understatement," Hisui said as she turned around, staring straight into the ceiling. "I was fighting all those other henchmen when she activated her balance breaker and my ears twitched as soon as it was released. I didn't see what it was, but Lingqi beat down that other guy, Gang, who activated his balance breaker. I'm sure, that you know which one of them came out the winner in the end. I heard that Jun's most trusted subordinates all mastered their powers to a good extent, and there was something different about him."

"That so. Well, I can tell that Lingqi would want to mention it later considering all that happened. So, whatever it is, then it can wait for later."

"If that's the case, then how about Ken Ken and I have some fun."

Hisui said, and then faster than even Kensei could react, he found himself being pushed to the bed by the green-haired nekomata. Because of that movement, Kunou found herself recovering from the flustered state that she'd been stuck in. Her cheeks remained flushed as she noticed Hisui straddling Kensei while licking her lips with the clearest hint of seductiveness.

"Nya, instead of being rewarded. I think that it would be funner to reward Ken Ken for all that he did fighting against the original and strongest Longinus. And besides, it looks as if Ken Ken also awakened something else inside of himself that has a distinct dragon presence. Nya~ I wonder what kind of reward I should give Ken Ken."

Having said those words, Hisui leaned forward without hesitation and pressed her lips against Kensei's. At that moment, the two of their lips started meshing against one another as their tongues didn't hesitate at all to wrestle against one another. Not hesitating at all, Kensei's hands moved to Hisui's waists, which he started tracing using his hands.

"Nnn~!"

Hisui was surprised as Kensei's started touching, then kneading her rear end using his hands in somewhat of a forceful manner. She felt pleasure originating from her waist and butt as Kensei realized a long time ago that this was her weak point. Hisui couldn't hold moving her waist around as she continued feeling his touch, then found herself being overpowered in the kissing session.

"Ahh~"

Hisui found herself retreating at this moment as she started regaining her breath.

Once that was happening, Hisui smiled, then started unbuttoning the top she was wearing as Kensei appeared to have ignited something within her.

"I hope that you're prepared to accept the affections of this nekomata, Ken Ken."

"I'm always prepared to accept the feelings of the women I love."

Kensei replied, wearing a confident smile.

"Uh, as the second fiancée, and the Kyoto Princess, Kunou won't be left out!"

Feeling invigorated, Kunou started removing her clothing from top to the bottom. It wasn't long until both the beautiful green-haired nekoshou and golden-haired Kyuubi were dressed in nothing but their underwear. In reacting to that, Kensei removed his shirt, then sat there in the bed before wrapping his left and right arm around the two youkai women. From there, Kensei started sharing an intimate moment with both the young women inside his hotel room.

Meanwhile, inside the hotel room shared between Claire and Alice, the two young women were lounging around on the bed. Same as with the others, the two were resting after the entire situation from today, more so for Alice, considering aside from Annihilation Maker, she was still human. It was mitigated by the constant training, but it was still hard on her a bit.

"Well, it looks as if we've got some more enemies to deal with."

Alice pointed out as she found herself moving a bit closer to Claire.

"Yea, but what else is new? I think that our group has made enemies by continuing to do what we do. Not that all of our plans on stopping anytime soon," Claire replied as she thought back to what she and Lingqi talked about before facing Gang. "More so, since there are still people who'd do things no different from Wu Jun for no other reason than their selfish desires. So, aside from finding more people like us, I think that it would be good for us to bring down those kinds of people whenever possible."

"I feel the same way, Claire. I don't have much in my life aside from all of us, art, and Annihilation Maker. Though it was because of this sacred gear that I had to run from home, it's due to it that I found all of you. And that's now an important part of my life that I wouldn't trade for anything."

Hearing Alice's response caused Claire to smile as she found herself leaning her head against the older woman's chest. In doing that, the younger girl's head ended up buried within her abundant breasts, something that caused the blonde-haired young woman to wrap her arms around her.

"No matter how much time passes, you're still an adorable girl."

"Alice-nee."

Claire uttered smiling.

In mentioning what happened, Claire thought back to the time she and Kensei found out that Alice was sending a lot of the money earned from selling her art to her hometown. Alice discovered the damage caused by the first set of monsters she created resulted in the town wrecking up dept making extensive repairs. No matter what that place was still her home, which was the reason she paid off that debt and continued sending donations there with her alias instead of her real name.

All because Alice didn't want to involve her parents in the supernatural world again, and wanted the people there to live their lives in peace. Deep down she wanted the chance to meet her parents again, then introduce them to Kensei and Claire; but then memories about what happened back caused her to stop. As long as Claire and Kensei remained in her life, that was all Alice would ever need.

"Ah, Claire I was reminded about something."

Alice brought up as Claire rested on her chest.

"Hmm, what?"

"You kissed me," Alice mentioned as Claire's face turned bright red in that instance, thinking back to the time that she did kiss Alice during the threesome the two had with Kensei. "I never expected that I would end up kissing a girl before. But, more so, I never thought that Claire would come up with the idea of…."

"Ah, please don't mention that again," for the first time in a long time, and sat up in the bed. Claire was genuinely flustered and began to wave her hands around. "It was in the heat of the moment, and it was the first time that we did anything like that before. So…Kuh."

Claire was surprised and their eyes widened as Alice leaned forward, pressing her lips against hers. She hadn't even expected that this would happen and found herself being overpowered by the older woman who had continued kissing her. Claire's head seemed to be on the clouds up until the point that Alice stepped back from her, then made a faint smile on her face.

"That was a little payback for doing that," Alice replied a bit teasingly, while Claire sat there a bit flustered about what just happened. "The love that I have for Kensei is the same as the love that I have for you. I mean, the two of us spent over seven years living together. You're the one and only girl I'll ever have feelings for."

"…Alice-nee," Claire couldn't find any other words at that moment and found herself smiling. "Yes, same here."

Not hesitating at all, Claire wrapped her arms around Alice and buried her head in her abundant chest as both the two adoptive sisters shared this beautiful moment.

Later that night, Kensei found himself meditating on top of the Jade Dragon Hotel rooftop legs crossed and mind blank. In using the regular breathing technique he developed, which mimicked that of an Eastern Dragon, while a bit of the natural ki was gathered around him too. He kept such practicing methods meant to grant him the most optimal performance in combat.

Although it'd often be something used in training one's ki, this time, it wasn't normal Ki, but instead, it was the Dragon Ki.

"…."

Coinciding with the deep rhythmic breaths being released, he could sense the presence of his normal ki flowing throughout him. Mixed inside of the ki flowing throughout his meridians, there was another kind of ki that gave off a much stronger presence. It was much weaker than it should've been for the first time, which was the reason he focused on strengthening it by using natural ki.

Having finished meditating, Kensei unfurled his legs and stretched out his arms, while groaning a bit. He felt a bit satisfied by the results, a deep sigh escaped from his mouth as he channeled a small amount of dragon ki. From the tip of his finger, a black aura manifested around it, being the result of Kensei's efforts in accessing the second power hidden within him.

"It might not be much right now, but it looks as if I managed to get a hint about using this new dragon ki."

Kensei noted as he felt the new presence that it gave out.

He still didn't understand the reason that it awakened like that during his fight against Cao Cao, but that battle is what allowed him to awaken.

"Hmm, so this is the dragon power that you awakened."

Kensei was surprised to find Sun Wukong landing on top of the roof from the top of his trusted cloud. He guessed that Yu-Long was sleeping somewhere else, likely at Xuanzang's residence. In Sun Wukong's hands, it looked to be a gourd filled with something.

"Yea, nothing much at the moment, but at least it's a start," Kensei said, noticing the gourd as an idea entered his head. "You aren't thinking about getting your former disciple drunk, are you?"

"Hahaha, of course not. To normal humans, it might have that kind of effect, but this is something that those who practice senjutsu or ki drink often. I thought that since you reached a decent enough level to be called a master that it would be appropriate for you. Besides, it'd be a good way of commemorating this reunion."

Sun Wukong landed right in front of Kensei, then placed the gourd and two cups right beside it. Noticing that the first Monkey King uncorked the gourd, and filled up the two cups. Finishing that up, the teacher and disciple lifted, then clinked them together.

""Cheers.""

Kensei and Sun Wukong said, before drinking the contents.

"…!"

In drinking that Kensei, felt as if his taste buds exploded from the mixture of strong and sweet tastes from the drink in his hands.

"Surprised, aren't ya," Sun Wukong seemed amused from looking at the expression on Kensei's face. "This was a special concoction made and shared among the previous Sennin using fruits that grow in particular locations. For normal humans taking a sip would be the same as drinking themselves unconsciously, but for those who have practiced senjutsu, it's a sweet, non-alcoholic that can benefit their body too."

"I can tell, my body and blood feel as if it's warming up from drinking a little bit of it."

"Well, don't hesitate, have another one," Sun Wukong urged as Kensei poured himself another one. "I could tell based on your ki that you took your senjutsu training seriously since the last time that I saw you. Both you and that Lingqi girl is special among humans, who have much weaker ki compared to that of supernatural beings. So, a lot of those undergo rigorous training to increase it. But, due to your particular lineage, you two are almost blessed with things that even special power users would dream of."

"Yeah. But, a long time ago, I realized that I didn't want half-assed strength that came from the natural talent that I was born with. I'm sure that Lingqi shares the same sentiment too."

"I can see that. You shared the same thoughts earlier on and asked all the time about who the strongest beings and people in the world were. But, you're not at the correct level to where you should attempt to even think about challenging beings such as gods and legendary dragons. The current brats who wield the current Longinus are the same, even the one who has the True Longinus now."

"I guessed that too, he was strong and skilled too but seemed as if he was being too casual. Well, as you would say, I still have a long time to go before fighting against the strongest beings around."

Kensei said as he drank from the refilled cup.

"Well, there is still much training that you can do in regards to senjutsu, but you build up a strong foundation to soon reach the next stage. But, considering who I'm talking to, I'm sure that you started thinking about several creative things to do."

"I did think about something more unique for using Touki and developing other new things using senjutsu too."

"Is that so? So, mind sharing that with this old man?"

Sun Wukong asked as Kensei started explaining his idea when it concerned Touki.

Listening to the concept that Kensei thought about it, the Monkey King found himself interested in the explanation from his disciple. He couldn't help enjoying the fact that he found someone such as Kensei in such a roundabout manner.

"And that's about it. I thought that would let me fight as hard as possible without wasting ki through focusing on it covering myself. My clan always thought about methods for working on ki control so that it wouldn't be wasted in a serious fight and optimize one's combat performance. So, this can be considered the result of that belief."

"Hahaha, that's an interesting concept. Humans might be weaker than supernatural creatures under normal kinds of circumstances, but because of that, they're more creative than such beings. I believe that was the reason that the Biblical God left the Sacred Gears in human hands. I'm sure that completing your idea of yours requires precisely controlling the ki inside your body and finding a balance so that you don't stress yourself out."

Sun Wukong explained as Kensei nodded his head in agreement.

"Yea, but I plan on making that possible and seeing what else I could do in the future. You did tell me a long time ago that the Sennin was able to develop different techniques and abilities using senjutsu."

"Well, I don't doubt that. You're a talented kid who can come up with things supernatural beings wouldn't start to consider. Aside from your human blood, you have dragon blood flowing through your veins too. It must've been a strong evil dragon at that too, considering what I could tell," Sun Wukong said, standing up from off the ground, then summoned his golden cloud, which he leaped onto. Much to his surprise, he left behind that gourd too. "I'll be heading out back to Xuanzang's for the night. So, consider that your first gift."

"First? So, that means I'm getting something else."

"Hmm, let's see what happens tomorrow."

Sun Wukong replied, in a bit of a joking tone, before heading out into the sky as Kensei looked up smiling at the departing Monkey King. He picked up the gourd left behind by his second teacher, noticing that it was more than half-finished.

"Hmm, I might as well share this with Claire and the others. But, I don't know what kind of effect that it'll have on some of them considering most of them don't use ki."

Kensei noted as he started heading back inside of the hotel hauling around the gourd in his hands, curious about what the others would think about it.

Inside Lingqi's room, she was dressed in simple night clothes, no different from what she wore the previous night before. Not resting in her bed, she looked to be undergoing basic training that truly showed how flexible she was. All the movements Lingqi made at that moment from stretching her arms, and legs and also bending at various angles could put champion gymnasts to shame.

"…."

She continued breathing, focusing on the particular style she learned among the White Tiger Sect.

In all that training, she focused on the qi flowing through her meridians as a calming breath escaped from her mouth. Even as she found herself balancing off her dominant left hand, Lingqi didn't stop focusing on training the manipulation of her qi. Sensing a familiar person's presence outside her door for a moment, she emitted qi from her hand, sending her in the air a bit.

But, Lingqi landed on her feet with no trouble at all.

Using a nearby towel to wipe off the sweat building up, Lingqi walked up to the front door and opened it. Looking a bit confused, she looked left and right, but couldn't see that person around. On instinct, she looked down to find a gourd that had a letter on top of it.

"Did Kensei leave this?"

Lingqi asked, recalling the presence felt similar to Kensei.

Picking up the gourd and letter, Lingqi started reading the letter, which surprisingly had the best penmanship she had ever seen from anyone.

[Got this drink as a present from Sun-sensei. Aside from being delicious, it's good for the body too. I had already shared it with the others and thought it'd be wrong not to give you the rest. Didn't want to give if to you in person, and interrupt your training. So, please enjoy it.]

"…," Lingqi couldn't help smiling at the sentiment, then opened the gourd and sniffed the contents. "It does smell sweet. I don't know what kind of fruit was used to make this, but it must be something if the Monkey King handed it to Kensei like this."

Having reentered her hotel room, Lingqi closed the door and sensed the presence of something appearing in the room. Just as she turned around, there was a bright light that appeared before fading as a familiar person could be seen. It was revealed to be Jeanne who stood there waving her hand cheerfully in her direction.

"Hello, Rei-chan~"

"Hey, Jeanne. Are you here for a fight?"

Lingqi asked, placing the gourd on the nearby desk.

In response to the question of whether or not she wanted to fight, Jeanne waved her hand and shook her head.

"No no no no, I wouldn't want to fight against Rei-chan for multiple reasons," Jeanne nervously replied, showing no desire to attempt to fight Lingqi. "I came here to talk and nothing else."

"I guess that, I was just kidding."

Lingqi replied, letting a light amused sigh escape from her mouth.

Both the blonde-haired young women (white mixed into Lingqi's hair) took a seat on her bed, but neither of them said a single word for the moment. Among the Hero Faction, where fighting against the supernatural and training was the area of focus, the two of them were noted as being the closest to one another.

"So, you're not planning on coming back?"

Jeanne started off asking that question, dropping her childish and energetic side for the time being.

"No, I don't think that I can remain in the Hero Faction anymore. I thought that it was a place that was doing the right thing for the world, but it turned out to be the opposite to that."

Lingqi seriously replied.

"You're going to be joining that Kibou group who arrived in China too, aren't you?"

"Yea, that group looks like it'll be a much better fit for me. You know, Jeanne, it's not too late for you to join me," Lingqi suggested as she glanced at the surprised Jeanne, not expecting that kind of suggestion to come out of her mouth. But, she lowered her eyes as Lingqi continued. "Jeanne, you haven't done anything wrong yet. So, there's still enough time for you to leave the Hero Faction and come with me. I know what happened, but…."

Lingqi was stopped as Jeanne wrapped her arms around her best friend; although she couldn't see what kind of Jeanne was making, Lingqi guessed it was a sad one. She wouldn't be wrong as Jeanne looked much different from her usual self.

"Thanks for the offer. But, I don't think that I can do that," Jeanne said as she started tightening her grip around Lingqi. "Even if Rei-chan is the one asking me, I can't come to trust supernatural beings anymore. There's a lot of them apart of that group and I think that I might cause more trouble for you. So, I guess that this means that we'll be enemies the next time we meet."

"Is that so?"

Lingqi asked, as Jeanne released her from her grasp and then stepped back as she activated a teleportation magic circle under her feet. Before being bathed in light, Jeanne took one final glance at Lingqi, almost looking sad to see her friend leaving.

"Jeanne," Lingqi called out to her again then took on a much more gentle look. "I like to think that we'll be able to return to being friends and hang out again in the future. Wouldn't that be fun?"

In hearing that question from Lingqi, Jeanne gave a gentle and cheerful smile at the thought alone, then nodded her head in agreement. Having bid farewell to her best friend, she did not doubt that what she said would happen in the future. Glancing over towards the gourd on her nightstand, Lingqi picked it up and poured some of it into a cup. Drinking from it, she noticed the strong and sweet taste, then the fact that her body started warming up too.

"This is delicious. It feels as if it's having some effect on my body too."

Lingqi was mesmerized by the taste and effects that it was having.

From there, she spent the remainder of her time drinking from what remained inside of the gourd, which was a present from the person who might end up being her teammate and leader.

The next morning, for the event the group found an isolated location that would be big enough for Kensei and Lingqi to fight to their hearts' content. Around this location, there was a special barrier no different from the ones used in creating the gaming fields set up with the assistance of Sun Wukong. Standing in the middle of the battlefield, the two combatants, Kensei and Lingqi stood at a distance from one another.

On the sidelines preparing to watch were Claire and the others from the Kibou Alliance, Sun Wukong, Xuanzang, and Yu-Long; and the three White Tiger Sect members. However, there was a newer addition among the groups watching and looking forward to the entire thing. It was a familiar blonde-haired girl, whose hair was curled up into drills, who the Sword Team met before. Sitting beside Claire and the other members was Ravel, who looked to be excited to witness the fight.

"I was surprised to hear about what happened when Claire-sama called me," Ravel stated feeling her excitement continuing to raise from the excitement building up. "But, it appears as if your group was involved in yet another odd and adventurous incident."

"Yea, that's a common thing for us."

Claire replied, smiling at the energetic response from Ravel.

"It makes me ashamed that I missed out on that," Ravel said, tilting her head to the side as she looked forward at the two people prepping themselves. "But, I did get to encounter the three legendary figures that Ken-sama had talked a lot about. And witnessing Ken-sama fighting against someone interested in joining the team too was one thing that I wouldn't want to miss."

"I thought that'd be the case. You mentioned that you don't get to see a lot of things apart of your brother's group and thought that it'd be fun for you to come to witness this."

"That's correct. Even in competing in the Rating Games, I don't have many opportunities to do much at all. And it was the main reason that I was happy to do something during the previous incident."

"So, if that's the case," Hisui ended surprising Ravel, who'd flinched as she felt the nekomata wrapping her arms around her. "Why don't you come and join us?"

"Wah, Hisui-sama!"

Ravel was surprised, not sensing or feeling the nekomata sneaking up behind her.

"You could have much more fun with our group compared to being used as fashion, while in your brother's group. Besides, we're in desperate need of a tsundere for different reasons, and I'm sure that a certain someone is interested in your…nyaaa!"

"Knock it off, Hisui."

Rui spoke in a matter-of-fact tone while grabbing onto Hisui's tail resulting in an immediate reaction that spread across her body. From doing that, Hisui was forced to release a thankful Ravel from her grasp, while the green-haired nekomata protectively held onto her tail.

"Please don't grab onto a nekomata's tail!"

"Please don't be weird and dissuade someone from joining."

Hisui and Rui countered one another, while Ravel inched a bit further from the green-haired woman.

"Yea, Hisui will do that sometimes. But…she'll grow on you at some point."

Claire replied as she looked forward to noticing that Kensei and Lingqi looked prepared to start.

"Lingqi, are you prepared?"

Kensei asked, having three swords right beside his; two of them were different from the previous ones used in the fight against Cao Cao.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? I mean, I was the one who suggested this," Lingqi replied, showing that she was looking forward to fighting against Kensei. "I'm prepared to get this started. But, aren't you going to get out either of your swords."

"Nah, I'd rather go out at it a bit barehanded for a little while. I haven't fought unarmed against someone in a long time," Kensei said as he noticed she hadn't tried bringing out her sacred gear either. "I can see that you haven't tried bringing out your Shimon Mouko either."

"I feel the same way. Since the moment that we met, I thought that we were about equal whenever it concerned martial arts," Lingqi noted as she stood in a stance that gave off the fighting spirit that resembled a fierce tiger preparing to hunt. "And that's the reason that I wanted to test out and see whether or not I was right."

"That's something agree on something else," Kensei replied, getting into a stance that gave off the fighting spirit that resembled a dragon preparing for an assault. "So, would someone mind giving the signal?"

"If you don't mind," Sun Wukong looked as if he wanted to be the one to do the honors of starting this match, and raised his hand into the air. "Begin!"

A surprisingly booming voice originated from the small kindergarten-sized monkey.

From that, Lingqi rushed straightforward towards Kensei at high-speed to the point where the ground seemed to break from the pressure. It didn't take more than a second for her to appear right in front of him with her fist being right beside her. She aimed it forward at high-speed to the point where it was inching closer and closer toward Kensei's face.

He managed to avoid it before making direct contact and felt the wind pressure caused by the strength behind it. Kensei noticed that a scratch was still formed on his cheek despite avoiding that punch. Following that punch, Lingqi aimed her knee forward towards Kensei's face this time, which he tried blocking using his palm. Although he blocked it, the strike sent him back a bit as his palm wasn't able to hold the strike back.

"Damn, I felt the impact from that strike from the knee despite being airborne."

Kensei noted as he was starting to land on the ground, and felt the residual pain that came from the hand he used to block it. Just as he landed on the ground, Lingqi was still on his tail without allowing him a single second to recover. A second later, she unleashed a fast barrage of punches straight at Kensei, forcing him to block them all defensively using his forearms.

It wasn't a simple mindless barrage of attacks, she was leaving Kensei without options in avoiding the attacks; in addition to aiming at vital points.

"She's quite powerful, more than both Xuelan and Isabella, who's reincarnated into Rooks," Ravel pointed out, watching on as Kensei was almost put entirely on defense. "I haven't seen Ken-sama fight aside from against the creature named Hakki and Onii-sama, but it's surprising seeing him on defense."

"Of course," Jian said speaking with more pride about Lingqi's match. "Our martial art was designed so that we'd be able to fight no different from that of the fiercest tiger. And our milady is the eldest granddaughter of the man who developed this martial art."

"A relentless barrage of attacks that leaves little to no chance to counter, as if you're a beast hunting after your prey," Hui added right after Jian. "Patriarch Jie once jokingly mentioned that he had sparring partners among the dragons here, and said that even dragons could be defeated using it."

"I wouldn't doubt Kensei, though."

Claire pointed out as she continued looking on smiling at Kensei.

As Kensei continued blocking the series of punches unleashed by Lingqi, he noticed that she was slowing down a bit. Amid the rhythm of her attacks, she clenched her dominant left hand, then aimed a fast and strong punch at his abdomen. A light breath escaped from Kensei's mouth as he got into a relaxed stance, and as Lingqi's punch reached him, it seemed to hit an afterimage.

"…?"

Lingqi looked confused but remembered that Kensei used a similar move that time he fought against a couple of drunk men from the zoo. She turned her head to see that he was standing in another position wearing a gentle smile on his face. Returning that smile, Lingqi continued with the relentless barrage of punches and kicks she aimed at Kensei. Reacting to that, Kensei continued avoiding the attacks using flowing footwork and motions, which looked as if he was dancing around.

For those who were trained in combat and/or martial arts, all them could see that there were neither excessive nor unneeded movements from them. Bodily alignment, balance, and movement were all perfectly being used in every single attack or dodge made by them.

"I never thought that fighting could look this beautiful."

Ravel found herself uttering, recalling all of the moments where she witnessed several Rating Games in the past, but none of them seemed to compare to this. It was true that she wasn't the same as Riser, who thought humans were worthless, but she hadn't had this high opinion about them until meeting Kensei.

"Well, that's because those two put their heart and soul into martial arts, young lady," Sun Wukong noted sitting a bit closer to the fight to view Kensei and Lingqi, catching Ravel's attention. "No different from those pure-blooded devils from the Underworld, those two have nothing but overflowing pride in their particular families. Both are blessed with talent and potential to take the simple road, however, those two continue training no different from others. All you're seeing is the result of that. It's still a bit vague and those two still have a long road ahead of them, but it's becoming clearer and clearer."

Hearing Sun Wukong, Ravel turned her head once again to find that the two continued their warm-up against one another, but it looked as if the two were dancing.

"A fight and dance between a Tiger and a Dragon."

Sun Wukong noted as the two seemed to stop and held out their dominant left and right hands respectively.

"Kosou."

Lingqi curled her fingers, resembling the claw of a tiger.

"Ryuusou."

Kensei curled his finger in a claw fashion, resembling the claw of a dragon.

Different from before when he'd used this technique against Riser, instead of using three fingers, he was utilizing all five. Most Eastern Dragons in mythologies are noted as having either three or four claws, with five symbolizing the Emperor. Neither of them needed to think about the other's next move, Kensei started channeling his Ki and Lingqi started channeling her Qi.

So, using their respective techniques, which represented the claws of a Tiger and Dragon, Lingqi and Kensei had aimed their attacks at one another. As the two attacks were sailing towards one another, there was a shockwave produced from the Qi/Ki being released from them. And soon enough, their hands clasped onto one another as if the two were holding hands, however, the shockwaves produced from the collision said something else.

Though their arms were thinner than those who focuses on building up useless muscles, the strength held in them would have made such training exorcises a joke. Both of them did similar kinds of training meant to prepare them for combat and gained their balance. Kensei didn't hate admitting it, but in terms of raw strength, Lingqi was a set ahead of him and felt as if she could break his hand.

"If this continues, I feel as if I'm going to end up with a broken hand," Kensei said as he started focusing on what he talked to Sun Wukong about. "I might as well give it a try."

Instead of focusing on increasing the amount of ki that he was using, Kensei instead began to concentrate it inside of his hand without letting it leak out. In doing that, a notable change happened as he managed to match Lingqi she noticed the change too. During that clash, the two managed to break free from one another and moved back a bit.

Both of them ended up moving around their right and left hands, as a cracking sound could be heard from them. A notable nod and smile of realization could be seen from both of them as they got into position once again.

"I haven't said this in a long time, but it looks appropriate now," Lingqi thought as she stomped on the ground and got into a prepared stance while summoning Shimon Mouko. "Let's roar, Shimon Mouko!"

From the white tiger-esque gauntlets and greaves, a strong presence could be felt from them, as if signifying the fierce beast residing within Lingqi. Kensei too unsheathed two of the three katanas he carried around, Kurogane, of course, being the one situation in his right hand.

""Let's go!""

Both Kensei and Lingqi announced as the two charged at one another wielding their respective weapons while showing their serious sides. From the greaves, she wore, Lingqi rushed straight at Kensei with her natural speed being all but increased compared to before. In a moment, she appeared in front of him throwing a straight punch a Kensei. Using the same footwork as before, he avoided the punch, leaving behind an afterimage, appearing in a blindspot.

He swung Kurogane straight toward the same side without hesitating, but then noticed Lingqi blocking it by using one of her greaves. As soon as Kurogane, which has had no issue in slicing through all manner of solid materials as if it was soft. Kensei felt as if it hadn't left the slightest dent or impact on Shimon Mouko's greaves.

"That's what I'd expect, as solid as the weapons that Naoto and Akari manifest. Compared to the weapons that are produced using Blade Blacksmith and Sword Birth. Spiritus Armiger is a league ahead of it, considering their weapons aren't imitations of anything and originate from the soul."

Kensei thought as Kurogane was removed from the grave, just as Lingqi aimed a kick straight at the side of his head. He moved backward on the ground, avoiding the kick that seemed to slice right through the air. Not giving him room to come out with a counter-attack, Lingqi started aiming a wide range of kicks toward him. Having little to no issue in moving around on the ground.

On the ground, Kensei launched himself in the air using Shinsoku, then got into position wielding his two swords, and released two slash attacks towards her. Reacting to the attacks, Lingqi moved backward as the two cuts left a deep impression on the ground. Still, in the air, Kensei continued releasing a constant onslaught of slashes all across the ground.

Lingqi moved around and avoided the slashes that were sent in her direction, deflecting the slashes send directly toward her. Amid that, Kensei landed on the ground, holding both swords in a unique position, showing the kind of dexterous use of his hands, then he started moving around as if he started fluidly moving around once again.

"Tougen Amagiri-ryuu, Amatsu Ryuuou," mixing his sword handling in the fluid dancing maneuver, Kensei started focusing ki inside of Kurogane as a blue aura started being emitted from it. "Rangeki!"

Despite its appearance as a fluid and gentle dance, Kensei unleashed a barrage of large blue slashes in a single instant and spread slashes around himself. Reacting to this, Lingqi started avoiding most of the slashes aimed in her direction again, then channeled qi into her greaves to deflect some of them. But, there was one slash that ended up slashing her arm, causing blood to leak out from the wound.

"Kuh, that one got me good."

Lingqi said as she focused on at least closing the wound using qi.

In doing that, Kensei rushed forward with Shinsoku, preparing to launch Kurogane forward in a thrusting manner, causing Lingqi to react quickly. In noticing the ki channeled into Kurogane, Lingqi channeled qi into the left gauntlet of Shimon Mouko.

"Tsukisasu/Senda!""

Both Kensei and Lingqi announced their techniques as the two collided against one another, resulting in another shockwave between them. But, much to the surprise of the others watching, at first, their weapons didn't come in direct contact with one another. Instead of being a clash of weapons their ki/qi was instead colliding against one another, which blow each other backward.

In landing on the ground first, Lingqi immediately propelled herself forward, then started spinning herself forward as she approached Kensei, who recovered. Noting the fact that she was building up momentum for an attack, he prepared a defensive technique.

"Gessou!"

"Niten Oudan!"

As Lingqi brought down a heel kick, Kensei crossed both of his swords in a defensive position and felt the kick's force, which cracked the ground underneath them. He felt the force behind that kick as he was forced deeper into the ground and struggled to keep it from getting hit in the head. But, that ended up happening as Lingqi's kick forced him face-first into the ground, cracking it.

"…ph…hu..rt…."

"Hmm?"

Lingqi thought she heard Kensei say something, but was muffled since his face was planted into the ground.

But, then she ended up being hurt as Kensei aimed a kick that made contact with the side of her cheek; sending her backward a bit, despite the current position he was in. Kensei soon forced himself out of the ground as he let out a deep breathed and jumped up, while blood had started leaking from his forehead.

"Bwah, I said that hurt."

Kensei said, wiping the blood from his forehead as he felt a bit dazed from that kick.

"Oh, that," Lingqi said wiping the bruise on her cheek, as she started approaching Kensei. "I didn't think that I've been kicked in that manner by someone before."

"And I haven't had my face planted into the ground by someone using a kick either," Kensei countered as he held both swords in his hand. "So, do you plan on getting serious now?"

Lingqi noted what he meant about that as she started smiling a bit from the suggestion as she stood in a relaxed stance holding out her arms.

"Well, considering that you fought against Cao Cao this won't be the oddest thing for me to do," Lingqi said, while a white aura started radiating from her "Balance Break!"

A brilliant white light was released from her body, starting taking form as a white full-bodied tiger-themed armor, not bulkier anywhere, as if it was rather a form-fitting exoskeleton. In that armor, the people standing by watching could sense the aura radiating from her now.

"Wow, I haven't seen a Balance Breaker before. But, the aura radiating from it was something that I didn't expect that the presence from hers would be this strong."

"I was standing right there watching the entire thing," Claire added, recalling the first time that she saw Lingqi's Balance Breaker. "She mentioned that the five subordinates of Wu Jun mastered their sacred gears to a certain extent, but she managed to defeat Gang who entered his Balance Breaker. But, she later pointed out that he was the weakest among the five."

"This is my Balance Breaker, Byakuren Mouko Raiment."

"Whoa, so I'm guessing that this is a Sub-Species."

"I don't know if you could call this a sub-species," Lingqi commented as Kensei looked a bit confused about that. "I previously had the original Balance Breaker, True Spiritus Armiger, which creates a modified version of the one you manifests. But, then it changed into this after fighting against a particular person about a year ago."

"And that person would be."

"A Dragon, or someone possessed by one," Lingqi replied as she started preparing to continue their fight. "It was the current Hakuryuukou, that I ended up meeting in one of the regions before. That fight left an impact on me considering that this one might be the strongest Hakuryuukou past, present, or future."

Kensei and the others were surprised having heard that Lingqi got into a fight against the Hakuryuukou, a person that most of them heard about a year prior too.

"Well, I'm sure that we'll hear about that soon enough. So…."

"Let's continue this fight."

Both Kensei and Lingqi prepared themselves to continue fighting again. But, then the moment that he moved into a prepared position, she appeared right in front of him with her leg sent straight at him. It didn't take all that long for Kensei to register that he was going to end up being hit. Kensei moved his head backward, avoiding a direct bit, but the kick opened a wound.

"Damn, that was fast!"

Kensei said, surprised that she became this fast to the point of being impossible to follow.

It didn't take him long to realize that this armor strengthens her to a much greater extent, then started to prepare himself for more attacks. From there, Lingqi started unleashing a wide range of punches and kicks, chasing after Kensei as the two moved across the battlefield at high-speed. If he had to guess in terms of speed, both of them were at least equal, but in this situation, he was being overpowered in speed. He managed to circumvent that, as a result of using Shinsoku, something he mastered to the point of being natural.

During the clash, Kensei blocked some of the punches from Lingqi but felt the weight behind them was insane too. In avoiding a kick from her, he slashed ki-infused Kurogane at her blindside, resulting in the slash leaving nothing short of a scratch on the armor. Despite the close distance between them, Lingqi moved into a crouching position, then turned on her heel, leaning the back of her shoulder against Kensei's side.

"Yamatora Gekimetsu!"

Despite that simple gesture of slamming her shoulder against him, power was concentrated into that blow, which blew Kensei backward. Blood escaped from his mouth as he felt a deep power that penetrated through his body and was sent crashing to the ground.

"Ken-sama!"

Ravel looked concerned as she noticed Kensei coughing up blood. She wasn't alone as Claire and the others all looked concerned too.

"Ugh, that one rocked me well."

Kensei noted as he looked to find Lingqi rushing straight at him. It didn't take all that long as she aimed her fist at him without hesitation. He didn't appear worried as Lingqi suddenly felt an intense pressure that seemed to stop her from moving. It was revealed to be Kensei, who used telekinesis at full power to stop her for the moment, and curled his fingers into a five-fingers claw.

"Tougen Amagiri-ryuu, Ryuusou," Kensei rushed forward as Lingqi was preparing to move again and placed his hand upside down at the exact center of her body. He focused force on that point while concentrating ki inside of his hand; then in a swift and fluid movement, he turned it upwards and pressed it forward.

"Houkou!"

"Kah!"

At that moment, Lingqi felt that attack penetrating the armor, then straight through her. Blood escaped out of from Lingqi's mouth as she was sent blasting into the air and noticed that there were cracks made in her armor. More so than her natural state, her Balance Breaker should be more durable to attacks. But, then she came to realize that the cause was Kensei's Senjutsu, which likely disrupted the armor's aura. He then leaped into the air after her using Tenpo as she was recovering.

Kensei applied the same application he developed for Touki, then slashes both swords straight at her. Knowing it would be possible for the black blade to cut her, Lingqi did something surprising as she seemed to kick off the air to avoid it.

"Huh?"

Kensei looked surprised, not expecting that she could use a similar technique as Tenpo too.

"I can do a technique like that one too."

Lingqi said as she maneuvered behind Kensei as aimed a sharp Kosou towards him, which he avoided at a hairsbreadth. But, the force behind that attack alone, tore the side of his shirt and caused a wound to open up on his side too. Despite being in midair, the two of them continued fighting against one another as if the two were still on the ground. His swords and her fists collided against each other, in addition to the ki/qi emitted from both their bodies, causing shockwaves that spread across the ground.

Instead of attempting to collide against Lingqi's powered-up punches, Kensei instead decided to handle them by using precision and deflecting the force. Despite that she managed to handle the counter-attacks and managed to land blows on him; while he managed to land slashes on the armor she donned. In moving forward toward her, Kensei leaped off her shoulder and ended up gaining more distance in the air.

"Tougen Amagiri-ryuu, Otatsu Hitokuchi," has kicked off the air towards her, Kensei infused and concentrated ki into both his swords and brought them downwards. "Ryuusei!"

"Byakko Kenpo," Lingqi shaped her hands into tiger claws and channeled qi into her hands, then moved them to clash against his Otatsu Hitokuchi, Ryuusei. "Saiga!"

Both techniques clashed against each other as the two emitted their ki/qi once again, releasing a shockwave across the air. Those people viewing their fight could still feel the pressure behind their techniques as the two of them continued. Because of that attack, both of them ended up being blasted down to the ground. Kensei landed on the ground and could feel that his hands were numb from that last collision, while Lingqi started to recover the damages done to her armor.

"From a mixture of her martial art, armor, and Qi, no doubt that she could defeat that Gang person from the other day despite being in balance breaker himself," Kensei noticed as he felt pain from each punch that Lingqi hit him with. "But, there's something that still feels incomplete about her Balance Breaker. As if there is something else waiting to be unlocked within her."

"He's strong, able to continue fighting against me despite being in Balance Breaker," Lingqi thought smiling under her armor with exhilaration starting to build up. "His martial arts, swords, and Ki, those three things allowed him to fight against even the True Longinus and its Sub-Species Balance Breaker."

Without showing much concern, the two of them started approaching one another as casually as possible, but an abundance of fighting spirit could be felt in them. Both of them were preparing to launch another technique at one another, while the audience looked on with anticipation.

Stepping at a close enough distance from one another, both Kensei's swords were wreathed in a blue aura, while Lingqi's fists were covered in a white aura.

"Tougen Amagiri-ryuu, Kenbu," Kensei raised his swords in a prepared manner. "Haretsu Rasen Buyou."

"Byakko Kenpo, Senda," Lingqi raised her fists in a prepared manner. "Renda."

Both unleashed techniques focused on unleashing fast, consecutive attacks without an end as the ground around them started breaking underneath the pressure. From Kensei's technique, bursts of ki were released from contact, while Lingqi's technique did the same thing from her punches. During some of their clash, some slashes managed to break through her armor and wound her; while her punches ended up making contact with his body.

Neither of their fighting spirits will be dampened at all from being struck, instead of continuing fighting as the two continued wearing smirks on their faces.

The battle between Kensei and Lingqi continued for almost the entire day, as the two looked to be at their last leg. Multiple wounds could be seen on Kensei as his clothing looked to be in tatters, while Lingqi's armor was cracked, revealing her body underneath.

"Wow, both of them haven't stopped for a single moment."

Ravel said, smiling as she looked at them with admiration.

"Yea, both of them sure have been blessed with strong and resilient bodies from birth and training."

Claire pointed out, as the others looked on with interest too.

"*Huff* *Huff* Hey, Lingqi…."

"*Huff* *Huff* …Yea, Kensei…."

Kensei and Lingqi tried their hardest to continue standing up from the exhaustion caused by them continuing to fight against one another and taking on one another's attacks too.

"…I'm sure that we're…on agreement…about this…."

"…yeah…I feel the same…way…too…."

"That's good…. So…lets…."

"…call this…a draw…."

In that moment of agreement between them, both Kensei and Lingqi fell to the ground as their exhaustion built up too much for them to remain conscious. Despite falling to the ground, both of them looked unconscious but were still smiling nonetheless.

"Hahahaha, those two sure enjoyed fighting against one another."

Sun Wukong noted as Yu-Long grew into a large enough size for the Monkey King to ride on top of, while his old friend and teacher, Xuanzang smiled too.

"It was sure interesting and fun witnessing the growth of your disciple firsthand. I'm sure that you're quite proud of the kind of young man that Kensei had grown up into as well," Xuanzang pointed out as Sun Wukong shared that same kind of sentiment too. "That girl is quite interesting too. I was surprised to find the granddaughter of Lu Jie in the same part as them too."

"Huh, you appear to know a lot about her grandfather too," Kunou pointed out, noticing that both the Buddhas of the Journey of the West knew Lingqi's grandfather too. "Kunou recalled hearing that he was an important person in China. But, is he that famous a person?"

"He is someone who earned all rights to be called a Hero, earning the respect and blessing of the Chief God, Yu Huang. At the peak of his journey, he managed to even become a Xian, a feat that hasn't been seen before in a human in a long time," Xuanzang explained as Kunou and the others listened on. "He came to me before once to gain medicine for his son, Han's condition before."

"Uh, how old is Lingqi's grandfather," Claire asked. "I heard that those who mastered Senjutsu and then became Sennin could reach a state no different from supernatural beings. But, I heard that the process itself is long."

"Hmm, if I recall, Lu Jie should be about a hundred and thirty years old. But, you'll have to ask him yourself."

Xuanzang replied in an almost cryptic manner.

As Sun Wukong landed in front of Kensei and Lingqi, from the lightest touch of his hands, both sprung back to life. Despite feeling exhausted to the point of passing out, the two felt as energetic as before, as if the two slept in a bed for two days.

"Hah, that never gets old! I feel exhausted one minute, and then I feel as if I was energized a second later," with an energetic declaration escaping from his mouth as he stretched his arms. "I can't wait to reach that point."

"So, this is the senjutsu of the Monkey King. Thank you."

Lingqi showed her gratitude for Sun Wukong.

"That's fine. It was an enjoyable battle between the two of you, but I'm sure both of you realize that there's still a long road ahead of you two. At this point, the two of you are still at the level of amateurs."

"I know that's true. But, I think that even someone in their fifties would be considered amateurs to…ouch!"

Kensei was stopped as Sun Wukong bonked him on the head using his Ruyi Jingu Bang in one swift movement, causing him to place both hands on the forming bump.

"No backtalk."

"Well, this is nostalgic. I haven't seen Wukong hit this kid in a long time."

"Iguana."

Kensei said, staring straight at Yu-Long, who then shrunk down and wrapped around his neck in another attempt at choking him. Both the human and Dragon King continued with their usual banter and back and forth with a notable laugh escaping from the mouths of those watching.

"Well, this is quite the scene."

"…!"

"…!"

Kensei and Lingqi were surprised by the sudden reveal of another person's voice, which sounded mature and dignified. But, their reactions were for two different reasons. He looked around to find the source of the voice, but then noticed a white tiger approaching them. In the real world, there were white tigers with white fur as a result of a mutation. However, there was something different about this one. For one, it looked much bigger compared to the ones he's seen. And second, was that he couldn't sense anything from it, but there was a kind of dignified air around it that felt almost divine.

"Uh, where did this tiger come from. And did it talk," Kensei questioned as Lingqi looked as if she was shaking in the same spot without moving an inch, catching his attention. "Uh, Lingqi are you…?"

"G-G-Grandpa Jie!"

Surprisingly, Lingqi raised her hands as if she was a young girl, who was running over toward their grandparent to hug them. But, the main issue with that was….

"That's your grandfather?!"

Kensei was surprised to find that the white tiger in front of him was Lu Jie.

But, he didn't receive an answer as Lingqi was more focused on wrapping her arms around the white tiger's neck or he should say her grandfather's fury neck. In response to this, he raised his paw and placed it on her shoulder as a sign of affection. Soon enough, the three members from Jian, Li, and Hui appeared right there in front of Jie and bowed respectfully.

[Patriarch Jie! It's great to see you!]

"It looks as if something interesting was happening around here. I kept myself from coming out since it looked as if my adorable granddaughter was having fun. I couldn't help the chance to see Lingqi after all this time," Jie said in a gentle tone, while Lingqi was rubbing her face against her grandfather's white fur. "I'm glad I chose to come here since it gave me a chance to see how strong she became."

"Grandpa Jie. I haven't seen either of you in such a long time, but is this allowed?"

"Why wouldn't it be allowed for a grandfather to see their adorable granddaughter," Jie spoke in a joking tone as Lingqi looked flustered from that comment. "Well, I am someone related to Heaven here. So, you could consider me your overseer in situations such as this. Besides I should have no trouble dealing with those dragons if either of them comes up with a complaint."

As Kensei continued listening to the conversation between grandfather and granddaughter, he could see that the two shared a close relationship. It made him nostalgic considering that he'd shared a similar relationship with his grandparents too. He then looked to notice that Jie turned his sights onto him with an interesting look.

"Hmm, it appears as if this child here has dragon blood and power within him, originating from an Evil Dragon. I sense another part of his power appears purer though. It looks as if your parents are quite interesting people," Jie said as he seemed to notice all that about Kensei from scent and senses. "Oh, I apologize, my name is Lu Jie, Lingqi's grandfather. Could I ask your name?"

"Ah, my name is Kensei Amagiri. Ah, could I ask the reason that you're, a tiger? Because this doesn't appear to be the result of using transformation magic."

"Right, it might be odd to see a talking tiger. If you met Lingqi, I'm sure that she mentioned me and her family," a light-hearted tone could be heard from Jie. "After mastering Byakko Kenpo, I attained power that surpasses a natural beast. Once I received Yu Huang's blessing, I turned into a white tiger. In certain places, I'm sure that turning into an animal would be a punishment, but being in this form is quite comfortable."

"Well, I did hear that some people from the Greek Faction were cursed. There was one, who turned into a werewolf after committing numerous evil deeds, becoming their ancestor and sealed in a Longinus."

"I spent a long time traveling and training as a tiger. At some point, I became able to transform from either a human or beast on command. Soon after that, I managed to ascend, becoming a Xian."

"Patriarch Jie is among the people here who mastered their Qi to the limit and reached heights that…."

"Knock it off."

Li said, then bonked the person on the head.

"Well, I believe that there's something else that you three should do."

"Hmm, for what?"

Hui asked.

"Isn't this the lad that helped you three, seven years ago?"

"Huh, seven years ago. But, that was…huh?! Now, I remember where I saw you before," Jian stated pointing at a now confused. "Don't you all remember, seven years ago, Hui? A lot of us went into the mountains that were full of youkai to collect herbs for the injured and Grand Master Han. And that time we were all attacked by a Dragon, then we met some foreign kid who spoke Chinese."

Mentioning that moment, Hui and Li did recall that incident, but she went ahead of them to return to the sect with the herbs she gathered. Lingqi was surprised to hear that as she heard about that incident, but she never thought that'd person would be Kensei of all people.

"Wait, those people that I met were you three," Kensei said, recalling that he did fight against an Eastern Dragon in an attempt to rescue several people who had gathered herbs. But, he never got a better look at either of them since he was more focused on fighting against them to focus on them. "Hahahaha! Well, isn't this one big work of fate! I never thought that I'd end up meeting those people…."

[Thank you!]

In that incident Hui, Li, and Jian bowed their heads in front of Kensei, letting out nothing short of appreciation.

"If it wasn't for you, then we would've lost a good number of our fellow disciples who didn't receive those herbs!"

"I didn't know about the situation. But, I couldn't help admiring that child who saved my friends from a dragon!"

"We cannot do much, but please accept our gratitude."

Jian, Li, and Hui emotionally declared, while continuing to bow their heads without moving an inch.

"Well, I'm glad that you three managed to help the people close to you using those herbs."

Witnessing this, Lingqi couldn't utter a single word as the entire situation was astonishing. Because of the chaos caused by Wu Jun, multiple people were injured and required medicinal herbs that could be found inside those dangerous mountains. Hearing that someone not much older than herself protected her fellow disciples, allowing them to return with those herbs. On the same night, Lingqi returned there hoping to meet them, but couldn't find a single person aside from the dragon's corpse.

It was hearing about the young boy who fought against a dragon to save strangers, which further stirred Lingqi in becoming much stronger. Years later, she ended up meeting that same person under irregular circumstances the both of them. Realizing all that, Lingqi couldn't help wearing the happiest experience that she's managed in a long time.

"Well, it appears as if these two people are linked by the red thread of fate," Lingqi heard her grandfather having a conversation with Sun Wukong. "I didn't know what to think when the First Monkey King himself asked to use that youkai-filled mountain as a training ground for his new disciple. But, it looks as if it leads to this development. This might end up getting our sect a new son-in-law."

"G-G-G-G-Grandpa Jie! Wh-What're you talking about?!"

Lingqi looked flustered at the conversation as Jie and Sun Wukong seemed to be laughing among themselves at her reaction. Her embarrassment about the situation and newer experience was something that made her cuter in the eyes of her grandfather.

"Well, I wanted Han to be the person who did this, but I might as well do the honors in his place. Because I think that you've reached that level. Lingqi, could you kneel a bit," at that moment, Lingqi did as her grandfather said and kneeled. He approached her, then placed his paw firmly on her left shoulder and soon enough a white aura could be seen around it. It caught the attention of Kensei and the others, it wasn't the usual shade of white, instead, it looked pure and divine. "You've earned this."

"Ngh."

Lingqi winced as she felt a slight burning sensation as her grandfather removed his paw. But, she turned her head to witness a black crest that resembled a tiger claw, no different from the ones Masters wore.

"I, the Patriarch of the White Tiger Sect, hereby recognize Lu Lingqi as a Master."

Jie announced as Lingqi looked as if she had heard something unimaginable, which soon turned into happiness as she was recognized as a Byakko Kenpo Master.

"Thank you, Grandpa Jie."

"Please don't thank me. It's natural. I can tell that since the moment you left, you've continued honing the Byakko Kenpo you learned. You haven't noticed, but you picked up some of the martial arts basics you learned, then engraved them onto it too," Jie noted as he stared at his granddaughter. "Although, you're at the first step to being a Master since there's a lot for you to continue learning and mastering. From your Sacred Gear, Balance Breaker, and the power that still lies deep within you. But, I do not doubt that you have the potential to become someone that can reach greater heights."

Lingqi felt herself tearing up at the praise, she was receiving from her grandfather at that moment. But she held herself back as much as possible so that she didn't embarrass herself.

"I'll ensure that I honor those expectations. And I'll do my best to bring down Wu Jun."

"I don't doubt you. But, please remember that man is someone that Han wouldn't defeat," her grandfather said as a smile formed on his furry face. "Now, please follow me over here. I have some letters that your siblings wrote to you as soon as they heard that I was coming here. There are also some from your mother."

"I'll be looking forward to them."

"Would you like to ride on your grandfather's back like you used to as a child? I do recall that you used to beg me to take you around the mountains as fast as possible."

"G-Grandpa Jie, please don't mention that."

Lingqi looked flustered as she started following her grandfather in another direction. In noticing them leave, the three disciples started moving in another direction near them, but not too close. This left Kensei standing beside Sun Wukong and Yu-Long, while the others looked to be coming in their direction.

"Well, this was an interesting day. I got one hell of a fight from Lingqi. She ended up reuniting with her weretiger grandfather. And I realized that I met her friends before."

Kensei said scratching his head from the events that happened.

"Well, that's an adventurous life that you live," Sun Wukong noted before reaching inside another space, then he retrieved an item from there. "So, here's that present that I was talking about."

"Oh?"

Kensei looked on interested as Sun Wukong held a necklace that has a precious jade pendant, with an Eastern Dragon carved into it. More than that, it looked to radiate the mysterious aura of a dragon, something that caused Kensei to want it even more.

"This pendant was made from a special jade, I modified it using my senjutsu and infused Yu-Long's dragon power into it too," Sun Wukong explained, handing it to Kensei. "I thought that it would be the perfect gift for my disciple considering you said all the time that you loved dragons."

"This is an awesome present, Sun-sensei," Kensei said, not hesitating to put the necklace around his neck, and found himself staring at it. Having done that, he bowed his head in front of the two people who had a hand in the creation of this present. "Thanks for the gift both of you."

"No need to thank me. I believe that this is present deserving of the things you managed to accomplish since we last saw you. Now, I believe those friends of yours would love to talk with you."

In telling him that, Kensei bowed his head again, then started heading towards his friends as Xuanzang passed him up to walk to Sun Wukong and Yu-Long.

"I see that Kensei loved the present."

"Yea, I'm glad to see that he loves it."

"Do you plan on telling him the reason that you gave him both those presents?"

Xuanzang asked, turning his attention to his friend and former disciple, who seemed to remain silent.

A small amount of time passed, as Kensei talked to Claire and the others, with Kunou bringing up that the two of them were now matching. Ravel talked about the match and how marvelous it was to witness firsthand, looking more excited the more she talked about it. Lingqi, who'd finished talking to her grandfather returned to the group while holding a bunch of bundled letters in her hands.

"So, I believe that we made a promise the other day before we decided to have this fight," Lingqi started, then placed the letters in her dimensional storage. "If you'll allow me, please let me join the Sword Team."

"Come on, we planned on that before," Kensei said as he stood in front of Lingqi, then held out his hand. "It'd be a please and honor to have you join my team and the Kibou Alliance."

At that moment, Kensei and Lingqi shook hands with one another. Noticing that she became an official member of the Kibou Alliance, Hisui moved and wrapped her arm around Lingqi's shoulder much to her surprise.

"Now, that you're an official member let's start talking about the benefits that come with it. First off, it, of course, the fact that you'll have a bunch of new friends to talk to, most of them being fellow women. And second comes, in the form of this highly functional smartphone created by our resident genius."

Hisui said as she pulled out her Oracle Phone, something that Lingqi recalled noticing before on Kensei and the others during the previous incident.

"I wouldn't call myself a genius."

"Neither would I."

Lena pointed out as Zane felt as if someone shot him in the chest, then walked off as if nothing happened; which is the truest and oddest description of Lena's character. Recovering from that, he reached into his store and pulled out one without a case around it. He extended his hand outwards towards Lingqi, who looked at the phone in his hand.

"Its installation process isn't difficult. First, turn it on, and it'll register you as its sole owner through sensing out all the particular properties of your aura," Lingqi explained as Lingqi took the phone off his hands. "There's going to be some other functions that Kensei or Claire can explain. But, if something happens to it, then please head to our base and we'll make the possible repairs."

"Well, there's going to be a lot that we'll need to talk about," Maria said standing beside her fellow Numbers as a gentle smile could be seen on her face. "Hisui might not be able to give you the right introduction. So, if there is a single thing you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask me."

"Maria, why do you sound as if I don't know what I'm doing?"

"Hisui, you're fun and informative sometimes, but other times you take things too casually."

Hisui pouted as she heard that from one of her friends.

Having just joined the Kibou Alliance, Lingqi found herself smiling right then and there already. She was looking forward to the experience that she'll be having under this group. Because of what happened, all of them thought it would be best to return home. Though the group thought that it was a shame that none of them got the chance to meet the Chief God, the chances of that were slim in the first place.

However, it made them glad that Lingqi mentioned that part to her grandfather, who mentioned that he would be working on that in the future. As Zane activate the magic circle meant to teleport them to Kibou Town, she turned her attention to Jie, Jian, Hui, and Li. A smile could be seen on her face as she waved her hand toward them. A goodbye or see you later didn't leave her mouth as that would be a given.

Soon enough, the entire group was wrapped in bright light as all of them vanished in front of the people there, while multiple emotions started building up in Jian. Before that happened, Jie turned his attention to the three of them and still felt positive about having reunited with his granddaughter again.

"Would you three please head back first? I'll be following behind you three, but I want to talk to these three for a little bit."

[Yes, Patriarch Jie!]

The three of them replied without hesitating, then started heading out as Sun Wukong opened a door leading out of the barrier.

"That granddaughter of yours was quite the person. It was quite the interesting fight between herself and Kensei, it truly does appear as if the Heavens and Gods quite love those two."

Sun Wukong pointed out, enjoying the fact that he was reunited with his disciple.

"Yes, and I feel as if I miss my granddaughter already. But, I don't doubt that she'll be able to defeat Jun and see her family once again," Jie stated as he turned his attention to the Monkey King. "But, are you sure that you've made the right decision in not mentioning one detail to that disciple of yours."

"You noticed it too."

"It was weakened, but there's no doubt that someone placed a tight seal on his dragon powers to keep them from manifesting. It is something that wouldn't be noticed unless someone has mastered Senjutsu or Qi to the limit. It's clear enough that he and his friends drank that sage drink, which provides benefits to the body and can remove impurities from them too. That drink was meant to purify his dragon blood too."

Jie pointed out, noticing that much from Kensei having sensed those irregularities within him too. Noticing that it was something Sun Wukong wanted to remain secret, he didn't mention anything and sent the others elsewhere.

"It was something that Kensei wouldn't have noticed himself after all of this time. Due to the nature of evil dragon blood and power, it was hidden well enough within it. But, I noticed it during his training as the malice originating from the world seemed drawn to that seal. Ironic enough, him fighting against Cao Cao and being hit by the True Longinus, the holiest relic from the Christian Faction greatly weakened that seal."

"That pendant you gave him would end up removing the rest of that seal after some time," Jie said before noting something else. "It wasn't the kind of seal that some evil spirit or demon could accomplish, but something only a God could and would do. Meaning…."

"For whatever reason, there's someone out there who's attempting to keep Kensei from realizing his potential," a sigh escaped from Sun Wukong's mouth. "I didn't mention it since there's enough on his plate to be worried about this too. Besides, there's a chance that whoever placed that seal on him is connected with the incidents that are happening in his faction too."

There was a silence between the four legendary figures standing there, but then an amused laugh escaped from Sun Wukong's mouth.

"But, to think that there's someone out there that worried about Kensei's potential. I'm not worried that we won't be able to handle this situation at all. Because Kensei has grown stronger nonetheless and he has friends that'll be there supporting him too."

"Yes yes, and my granddaughter will benefit from being around him too. Rivals are a good thing to have in life as it'll result in both developing much more in the future. That Kensei lad will without a doubt assist Lingqi in her awakening in the future," Jie said in a grateful tone before he started heading out in another direction. "Well, I'll be returning to the White Tiger Sect. I'll need to do my son's job, while he's still recovering."

"How is Han's condition?"

Xuanzang asked, recalling the incident as explained by Jie before.

"He's recovering well. Well, no doubt that he'll end up being much stronger than ever. Even if he can't move and his mind is unconscious, his soul is still as strong as before. So, I'll be returning too."

Jie said as he started leaving the area behind his three disciples, who were ahead of him.

"Well, let's return too. I think that we should have a drink and food together to celebrate our reunion with Kensei back in the mountains."

"You're planning on boasting about Kensei to the other sages there too again, aren't you?"

Xuanzang joked as Yu-Long regrew into his full dragon form, as he and Sun Wukong jumped on his back as the Jade Dragon took off. Sun Wukong laughed at the comment made by Xuanzang as the three legendary figures of the Journey to the West left the area.

Three days passed, and in Kibou Academy, Room 3-A, the third-year students there were talking among themselves about the school or menial things. During their conversation, two students were talking about the fact their school gets getting new students. Soon enough, their homeroom teacher, a woman entered the room, causing the upperclassmen to turn around to face her.

"Well, I'm sure that all of you have heard that we're getting a new student. It makes me excited since this one is a new student from another region and became interested in our school," their homeroom teacher said, then their classroom door opened. "And she happens to be a new student in this class."

As soon as the students, male and female noticed her standing there, neither of them could utter a single word noticing her. Dressed in the female school uniform and black stockings, then started writing out her name right in front of the class before turning around.

"Good morning, my name is Lu Lingqi. It's a pleasure to meet you all, and I hope to get to know you all."

Lingqi spoke to them in Japanese, having learned different languages during her travels, giving her brand new classmates a gentle smile.

In that instances, an immediate reaction came from the students who took a liking to Lingqi despite not knowing her for that long.

"She's a serious babe!"

"I haven't seen someone such as her before!"

Those were some of the reactions from the male students.

"Her skin is so flawless that it's making me jealous."

"Her hair is so unique too. I heard there were some Chinese people with blonde hair, but hers also has a mixture of white added onto it too."

"Uh, I wonder if she'll be friends with me."

In noticing the reactions from the students, Lingqi couldn't help smiling to herself.

"I heard from Kensei and the others that the students can be a bit much sometimes. But, all of them her looks as if they'll be fun to be around too," Lingqi bowed her head in front of him in a respectful manner. "Please, I hope that you'll all be patient with me. I have been homeschooled for some time and I haven't been to an actual school before."

Having said that, she was starting to receive nothing short of positiveness from the students in front of them. But, a lot of comments from the males were more directed towards her looks alone. Despite all that, Lingqi started to look forward to being a student here with Kensei and the others too.

A/N: And there goes the next chapter of DxD – The Last Amagiri, this was the final chapter of the seventh volume. In addition to this, the blessing that he received from Yu Huang was being turned into a white tiger, which he gained control over and turned into Beastification before he ascended into a Xian.

Well, aside from now being recognized as a Master, Lingqi is now a part of the Kibou Alliance and a brand new resident of Kibou Town. The next chapter is going to be the start of another volume.
