With the train lights extinguished, the passengers, no longer visible to the pteranodons, were left in peace. However, this respite came only after the creatures had claimed one of their own – poor Ben.
Kenji dropped to his knees as Bumby bellowed off the train.
"He's gone. He's gone." Yaz said in disbelief.
"I won't believe it!" Sammy cried as she broke down.
"Sammy." Yaz tried to comfort her.
"No!" Sammy began to cry into Yaz's shoulder.
Darius looked down at his hand and up to the train tracks. But that was when he realized that they were in much serious danger... again. "We're going back. The monorail's going back!"
The monorail took a deep turn, causing everyone to be sent flying. "What do you mean, "going back"?" Peter asked.
"When we switched tracks, we ended up on one headed north. We're not going to the south docks, we're going away from them!" Darius cried as he ran over to the controls, trying to stop the monorail. "Doesn't anything here work?! Qe gotta get off this monorail now!"
Brooklynn pants as she runs over to the broken window, looking out to see a dip up ahead with the curve. "Oh! The track dips down up ahead! We can jump there!"
Kenji didn't seem to like that plan. "What? Jump?"
"Can we ever stay with the vehicle we are on?!" Peter groaned as he stood up.
"We can't! It's too far to jump!"
"It's the only way!" Darius exhales as the turn comes up.
"One..."
Sammy whimpers.
Yaz's neck cracks as she prepares to go.
"Two..."
Peter panted as he stood up, the cuts on his face slowly healing back up.
"...three!"
They all jumped off the monorail and screamed as they fell downward. Everyone was sent tumbling and Kenji ended up dropping Bumpy as they fell down the hill. Peter groaned as he smacked into a tree stump. That was followed with Brooklynn smacking into him, causing him to groan again.
"This park... is trying to hurt me!" Peter exclaimed in anger, ripping the stump from the ground and tossing it across the park.
"Is everyone all right?" Darius asks.
Brooklynn groans as she helped Peter stand. "Ish. Are you?"
"I'll live," Peter promises.
"Bumpy. Where's Bumpy?" Kenji asked as he looked around. "I lost her when I hit the ground. She's gotta be here. Bumpy? Bumpy!
"Shh!" Brooklynn shushed him. "There are still dinosaurs out here, including Toro and-"
"Bumpy! Bumpy!" Kenji ignored her.
"We gotta look for her, don't we?" Sammy asks. "And Ben! He might still be-"
"How? We don't even know where they are!" Yaz stated, taking a step, only to fall and wince when she put the pressure on her leg.
"Attention. All park-goers must report to the south ferry dock for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in 60 minutes."
"No chance we could get there in an hour!" Yaz stated. "It's way too far!"
"Not if we leave right now!" Brooklynn stated.
"But Bumpy, and Ben!" Sammy said.
"We can't go back for Ben!" Peter was sorry to tell her. Sorrow on his face, hating that even with all of this power, he was failing to save their lives. "Ben's... gone. There's just not enough time to look for them. We can make it to the ferry, but only if we go now."
"He's right," Darius agrees.
"Last ferry departs in 60 minutes."
"We have to go!" Darius cried as they all began to slowly run off, regretting that they couldn't look for them.
"Repeat! Roxie and I saw you on the monorail, we're headed to the docks to meet you." Dave called into the radio, only to get static. "Darius, do you copy? If you can hear me, just get to the boats, okay? Don't stop, just keep going. Just keep going!"
The crackling continues...
"They're gonna be okay, Dave." Roxie guessed. "They have to be."
Back with the kids, Peter was running ahead, making sure that their path was clear and no dinosaurs or the Indominus wasn't going to jump out and attack them. Yaz was falling behind due to her injury.
"Keep going! Come on!" Darius cried.
Yasmina yelped as she fell over. "Yaz!" Sammy cried, running back to her.
"Guys!" Brooklynn called out to them.
"Are you all-" Sammy tried to help, but Yaz was still upset with her.
"I'm fine," Yaz said.
"It's so..." Brooklynn saw the swollen leg as Yasmina grunted and stood. "How are you even walking?"
"I'm highly motivated," Yaz stated, trying to stand back up. "I got this." But Yaz quickly fell back down with a scream. "Ahh!"
"She can't keep up like this," Sammy stated.
"What do we do?" Brooklynn asks.
Peter sighed as he ran back and kneeled down to Yaz. "Put your arms around my neck."
"What?" Yaz asks in confusion.
"Just do it," Peter tells her.
Yaz just complied and wrapped her arms around his neck. That was when Peter put his arms under her knees, and on her back where he then lifted her upward. Yaz let out a yelp as he lifted her up, not used to this treatment.
"Alright... let's do this," Peter stated.
"You sure you can carry her?" Brooklynn asks. "You are still pretty beaten up."
"I should be fine." Peter shrugged. "Better than the alternative." He then whinced as he felt Yaz touch one of the scratches on his neck. "Ah, careful."
"Sorry," Yaz said, moving her arms.
"But finding a faster route would be better."
"We can't stop, so, we'll make a stretcher, maybe?" Darius tried to figure out a plan. "Or maybe there's a shortcut or...the tunnels! Kenji!" He then ran up and shook Kenji out of his trance. "Kenji! The maintenance tunnels. There has to be one that leads to the docks, right? Kenji, right?"
Kenji led everyone over to a hatch and opened it. "This'll get us to the dock in half the time."
They all began to climb down the ladder, but since Peter was carrying Yaz, he didn't have the same choice. He waited for everyone else to move, then dropped down with Yaz still in his hands. Luckily his powers, even in this state are enough for him to cushion their fall.
Yaz kept a hold on his neck, as hard as he could. "Thanks. You know, for helping me."
"Yeah... no problem." Peter said, his face flustering a little as he followed everyone.
"Are we sure "Mr. VIP" knows what he's doing?" Brooklynn asks.
"Kenji took me down here before." Darius said as they followed him. "Just trust him. We'll be outta here in no... time.
Kenji ended up leading them down a dead end into a gated area. "Everything looks different with the lights all freaky like this, okay?" Then he ran down the hallway. "This way.
No!" He then continued to run around, seeing no exit. "What? -This wasn't here before! Why are there so many security gates?"
"The evacuation. The park must be locking down automatically!" Brooklynn guessed.
"Oh, we have to go 'round!" Kenji huffed. "This way!" He then ran off, trying to find a way out, but only kept on finding more gates.
"Kenji! You said-"
"Attention. All park-goers must report to the south ferry dock for immediate evacuation. The last ferry departs in 30 minutes."
"Not helping!" Peter cried in anger.
"Peter. can't you break them down?" Brooklynn asks.
"Not really," Peter shrugged. "My strength is a little preoccupied at the moment, and my powers are basically equal to those dinosaurs. I'd likely just break or hurt my hand."
"Kenji, just try to remember. Breathe-"
"What do you think I'm doing?!" Kenji asked. "Coming down here was your idea, so just back off!"
"Uh, Kenji? Darius?" Sammy called out. "The way we came from where does that tunnel end?"
"It opens up into the park, I guess." Kenji shrugged. "Why do you-"
Peter's senses went off, causing him to flinch and look over to the hallway, and they saw there was a dinosaur coming. Everyone backed off while Yaz wrapped her arms tighter around Peter's neck.
"I really am starting to hate that guy," Peter groaned.
Over at the ferry, everyone was running off as fast as they could towards the evacuation boats. "Okay, that's it, everybody, there we go!" Dave and Roxie were there, trying to be sure the kids got there. "Keep movin'! This way!"
"There were six teenagers." Roxie tells the man. "You're sure you didn't see them?"
"What? No, I didn't notice six kids in the middle of thousands of people here!" He stated. "Right this way, sir. Keep moving, sir, thank you. You know, we're kind of in the middle of an emergency evacuation!"
"Yeah, picked up on that." Dave scoffed. "Where's Claire Dearing?"
"Who?"
"Perfect!" Dave scoffed. "Rox, come on. We gotta go back and look for 'em."
"No, absolutely not." He stopped them. "You are being evacuated."
"Are you gonna stop us?" Roxie asked.
"Yes, ma'am. I am. That's my job. Now, you can stay here to search, but the last ferry departs in 25 minutes and you need to be on it."
"And if we refuse?" Dave dared.
That was when he pulled out a cattle prod. "Then so help me, you'll be physically placed on that boat."
Both of them raised their hands, seeing he was actually serious about this. "And what if we refuse politely?" Dave asks.
Roxie only looked at him with an annoyed expression.
Everyone was still preparing to fight off whatever dinosaur was coming while Peter put himself ahead of the group, shielding Yaz from the danger. That however was when they learned that it was just a compsognathus.
Darius sighs. "It's just a Compy."
Kenji growled, kicking the dirt to spook the Compy off. Brooklynn scoffed when he saw that.
"Seriously, Kenji? It's like a foot tall!" Brooklynn stated.
"And, uh not alone." Yaz gestured, pointing off as Peter was still facing the group.
"Huh?" Peter asked, turning to see the whole group of compsognathus' coming for them. "I really hate dinosaurs."
"We need to go. In a group, Compies can-"
"Not really the time for a lesson, dino-nerd!" Kenji cried, swatting one of them with his hand.
"Why not? It's not like you've gotten us anywhere close to the dock, Mr. VIP!" Brooklynn stated.
Oh! Yeah, I'm sorry. Don't you have some sort of "unboxing being a brat all the time" video to be shooting?" Kenji asked.
Brooklynn scoffs at that insult.
"Hey! Calm yourselves!" Sammy said, stepping up for her. "You're scaring the itty-bitty Compy family."
""Scaring the"-? Are you for real?" Kenji asks. "After everything, you're defending the dinosaurs?"
"It's not her fault you got us lost!" Brooklynn stated.
"It's definitely her fault for some of this." Yaz scoffed, kicking one of the compy's with her good leg.
"Let it go, Yaz! It's just a phone!" Brooklynn tells her.
"Wait, what?" Peter asked. "When did this happen?"
Yaz scoffed. "I don't even know what's going on anymore."
"Guys! Just stop-"
That was when a giant roar came from the tunnels and all of the compsognathus' stopped trying to attack the kids and looked down the tunnel. That was when they spotted Toro coming down the dimly lit halls, his footsteps stomping as he came to approach them. The compsognathus' ran off in terror of the bigger dinosaurs.
"Toro." Darius squealed.
Toro then roared at them, causing them all to scream as they ran down the corridors. Kenji was leading the way and Yaz just wrapped her arms around Peter's neck as they ran down the dozens of corridors. Toro was hot on their trail with every turn they took, causing the Carnotaurus to slam into the walls, and slip further behind.
"Now you know which way to go?" Brooklynn asked.
"You wanna stop and ask for directions?!" Kenji asked.
"Just run!" Darius cried.
Toro came close to them, but they quickly took another turn and kept running as fast as they could down the labyrinth of tunnels. When they got further enough away, Peter found a air shaft and quickly kicked it.
"Come on!" Peter told them.
Everyone began to crawl inside the air shaft, with Peter and Yaz being the last two. Hearing Toro roar down the corridors, Yaz panicked and squeezed him more.
"Yaz, you gotta let go!" Peter tells her.
Yaz suddenly realized what she was doing and released his neck. "Sorry."
"Come on," Peter led her into the shaft as he followed quickly after.
Peter quickly closed the hatch just when Toro made his way around the corner. He slowly marched down the corridor, hunting for them. Peter took in a deep breath, watching as Toro marched past them, missing the hatch they escaped into. He let out a small sigh of relief seeing that they were going to be okay.
"We can't stay here!" Sammy said. "The ferry-"
"Shh!" Everyone shushed her.
Yasmina began to crawl ahead of everyone as Peter tried to crawl, using his powers to move himself forward more easily. Yaz and Peter reached the end of the hatch and found another entry point. Yaz looked over at Peter, and he knew what she was thinking. Use his strength to kick down the hatch. But Toro was still out there. He just needed to be careful. He then scooted, turning around and preparing to strike the hatch, he kicked it as softly as he could. He bent the metal and caused a giant creak and echo to shatter across the tunnels.
Peter flinched and gave a quick moment, wondering if Toro heard where it came from. His senses didn't alert him, and he let out a sigh of relief, followed by everyone else. But that was when his senses did alert him something was coming. He jumped back, thinking it was coming from in front of him. But it turned out to be coming from behind, as Toro's head came slamming into the hatch, taking a bite at Brooklynn who shrieked and moved out of the way.
Peter quickly kicked Toro's head before using the wall to kick himself forward. He then slammed into the hatch, cutting his head a little. Everyone crawled out beside him as they escaped Toro, then quickly helped Peter to his feet.
"You okay?" Darius asks.
"Yeah, just a cut, I'll live," Peter said as he rubbed his head.
"Guys?" Yaz called out, pointing to a sign on the wall.
"Exit to south dock, one thousand feet"
""Exit to south dock, one thousand feet"?" Darius asked in shock.
"Thank you, universe!" Peter cheered as he quickly picked Yaz back up.
"Whoo!" Yaz cried as she grabbed onto his back. "You sure this is not a problem?"
"Right now, I could run a marathon if it gets us home!" Peter cheered as he ran ahead of everyone.
Everyone ran as fast as they could towards the docks. But their joy was crushed when they raced over and saw that the entire entrance was blocked off by a complete steel door.
"No! No, no, no, no!" Kenji cried.
Peter ran over, placing Yaz down in some sort of boat storage area as he ran over and moved some crates, searching for any type of entry point. "Oh, come on! There's gotta be a door or a passage or something!"
"There's no way out," Kenji said.
Brooklynn was searching from above and sighed. "Ugh! They must've sealed it off after the park was finished.
"Ugh! Can't anyone associated with this place make just one good decision?!" Yaz cried.
The powerful roars of Toro reverberated through the dimly lit halls, sending waves of panic rippling through the group. Heart pounding, Peter quickly turned his gaze towards the heavy steel door at the end of the corridor. He sprinted over, desperation fueling his every movement, and grasped the cold metal hatch with trembling hands.
With a fierce determination, he heaved against it, straining to pry it open. But the hatch, designed to withstand the strength of enormous dinosaurs, resisted his efforts fiercely. Each attempt sent jolts of pain coursing through his already battered body. Undeterred, he gritted his teeth and continued his struggle, determination burning in his chest as he fought against the unyielding barrier.
The others stood by, helpless, their hearts heavy as they watched Peter's desperate attempts to rip the doors from their hinges. A mixture of concern and confusion washed over them; they didn't know how they could possibly intervene. The weight of the past few days pressed down on them all, but for Peter, the burden was particularly crushing. He had lost his father, and in his grief, he believed this was the only course of action he could take—to get everyone onto the ferry and away from the island's suffocating grasp.
With every muscle in his body straining, Peter pulled at the sturdy doors, but they refused to yield. Frustration boiled over, and in a moment of anguish, he unleashed a raw cry that echoed across the empty space. He pounded on the door with his fist, the sound sharp and hollow, before collapsing to his knees, the fight draining out of him. Tears streamed down his face as he sobbed, the overwhelming sense of loss and despair spilling forth, leaving him vulnerable and devastated on the cold, hard ground.
"I can't do it..." Peter whispered. "I can't do this... I am not powerful. I am not... spectacular, amazing, or just... anything. I am just... Peter Parker. The guy that was bitten by some stupid bug his dad created." He then felt the tears stream down his face. "I couldn't save Ben, or Bumpy, or save my dad when that Indominus rex attacked." He let out a furious cry as he slammed the ground. "This is all my fault. I should have never let my dad take this stupid job. Maybe the Indominous might have never existed. You guys would all be safe. All of this because of that stupid spider! These powers aren't some gift... they're a curse."
Darius slipped down into the area and approached him. "Yeah, maybe. But... maybe they would have still made the Indominous." He tried to ease Peter's pain. "I mean, it would have taken a few more years maybe, or maybe even sooner. Or maybe she would still be here. We don't know."
"Not the best pep-talk," Darius said.
"My point is, you also helped us," Darius reminded him. "Maybe Sammy might not have survived if you weren't there. You saved us from the Indominous in the truck. You were able to get Bumpy from being dino-chow." There was a roar in the distance. "I mean, look at us. None of us should be here. I'm just a dino nerd whos good at video games. Kenji's just some rich kid."
"Hey." Kenji somehow found offense in that.
"Brooklynn is just some YouTuber. Yaz is a gymnast. Sammy is a farmgirl." Darius continued. "And you, well, you were a science dork. I don't think that spider changed anything about you. I think it just enhanced what you were. You were always looking out for us, the moment that you met us."
"He's right," Brooklynn agreed with him. "You helped me try and see the world without my phone."
"You helped me try and open up," Yaz agreed.
"I guess you understood why I did all of this," Sammy added.
"And... I got nothing," Kenji shrugged.
"And you helped me understand Brooklynn," Darius said.
Peter chuckled. "You know, hearing all this, I should really become some sort of therapist."
"You didn't give up on us, even when you didn't want to know us," Darius explained his point. "You might think this is a curse, and you may be right in this context. But you have used them as an amazing gift. And I don't just mean your powers. It's your heart, mind, and who you are."
"You kept us goin'," Yaz said, giving Sammy a bit of an eye. "no matter what some of us have done."
Sammy looked away in disappointment.
"You made us feel like we were in this together." Yaz continued her point. "So, we are."
Peter scoffed a little. "And you all wanna say we're not friends?"
"Yeah, yeah," Kenji rolled his eyes. "Pat yourself on the back. We admit it."
"Things fall apart. And that's okay because when that happens..."
"We pick up the pieces and we keep going." Peter seemed to get what they were saying and looked out to the tunnels. "You're right." He agreed as he looked around the area and knew Toro was coming. "These powers are my gift... my curse... whatever lies beyond this point, we face together." He then looked down at his fist and thought of something. "Yaz, back in the labs... what did you call me?"
Yaz scoffed when she thought of it. "Uh... Spider-Guy? Something like that."
Peter then clicked in his head. "Spider-Man...that was it." He then saw who he was meant to be at that moment. But he looked at the team and knew they needed to get out of here. "Come on, let's check the crates for anything."
Everyone began to search the area for something they could use. In the search, they found a cattle rod, which they saw could be useful. Peter handed it to Yaz, seeing she could use it to walk on while they were searching.
"Come on, something pointy!" Kenji said as he pushed open a crate. "Come on, something hurty!" That was when he opened the crate and saw a bunch of gas canisters. "Come on! Ugh! Medical supplies?"
Darius walked over and got an idea. "We had these around the house after my dad got sick." He then pulled one out to look it over. "Super compressed air, sensitive to ressure and heat! Might be able to scare Toro off."
"Or distract him long enough for us to find another exit." Peter agreed.
"Kenji, Brooklynn, let's get this crate loaded on that cart." Darius gave them the plan. "Sammy, use those bandages and tape to make a fuse."
"We're gonna need something to light it with." Peter reminded him.
That was when Yaz reminded them of the cattle rod, the electricity crackling as she showed it off. Then Toro's roars caused them to look off and knew he was closing in and they needed to act fast.
Toro roars as he enters the chamber, looking around to try and find them. Peter was crawling on the ceiling, trying to distract Toro by dropping various objects he carried up with him. They distracted Toro as he roared, getting frustrated by the various noises, but seeing no sign of anyone around.
He just needed to keep him busy while the others finished up.
"Light it up." Darius said to Yaz.
Yaz activated the rod and tried to light the bandages.
"I'm trying! It won't light!" Yaz whispered.
"Wait!" Kenji got an idea, taking some hand sanitizer from Ben's patch. "Hand sanitizer! This stuff will burn!"
"Thanks, Ben," Brooklynn whispered to their lost friend.
"Now!" Darius cried, getting them all to push the cart off towards Toro. Peter leaped onto a crane hook and swung past Toro, getting him to focus on Peter, and not the crate as it rolled past. The crate rammed into Toro, and the explosion didn't exactly go off as they had planned. Instead, the canisters went everywhere and the fire spread across all of the crates.
"Run!" Peter cried, grabbing Yaz again.
"Where?" Sammy asks.
"Anywhere!" Brooklynn cried.
Everyone ran to avoid Toro as he continued to chase after them around the room. Kenji dropped down and managed to get underneath some crates that weren't burning. Peter ran up to a wall, Yaz holding onto his neck as he climbed the wall. Darius managed to slip behind some crates. Brooklynn and Sammy were cornered by Toro, but he ended up slipping from the impact. She then managed to leap over the cavern, escaping his grasp. Sammy tried to run, but it was becoming difficult with Toro approaching.
"Get me down there!" Yaz said.
"You sure?" Peter asked.
"Trust me," Yaz said.
Peter gave a quick nod and made his way down the wall, moving towards Sammy. Yaz took aim and hurled the cattle prod, striking the dinosaur and diverting its attention away from Sammy. The creature pursued them as they dashed along the wall, toppling canisters in the direction of the doors.
Darius, seizing the moment, snatched up the cattle prod. Realizing everyone was trapped against the doors, he sprinted to a corner hemmed in by crates. With a swift motion, Darius activated the prod and flung it at the canisters, triggering a colossal explosion that swept the dinosaur up in a fiery blaze.
The smoke began to clear as everyone was looking around, making sure they were all okay. "Is everyone okay?" Darius asked.
"Uh, surprisingly, yeah," Brooklynn commented.
Kenji chuckles. "Whoo-hoo! We did it. We beat-"
The action halted when a rumble interrupted them, revealing that Toro was indeed alive. His body bore the marks of the flames he had endured, and his gaze fell upon the group of children. They braced themselves, ready for another confrontation with the dinosaur. However, Toro appeared to relinquish the fight, trudging away from the children and disappearing into the jungle's embrace.
"Yeah! That's what you get!" Darius cheered.
"Take that, Toro!"
"That's how you do it!"
"Whoo-hoo!"
"Yes!"
"I thought we were goners!"
"Oh, that was scary!"
"We did it, oh, yeah!" Peter cheered as he fell over and lay down. "Doesn't get better than that."
Yasmina walked over to him and stood over him. "Wanna bet?" She said, gesturing over towards the wall.
That was when they looked over and saw that there was a hole left over from the explosion.
Panic surged through the group as they sprinted towards the docks, urgency driving their every step. Peter, with determination etched on his face, hoisted Yaz onto his back, her arms wrapped tightly around him. Together, they propelled forward, fueled by the fear of being stranded. The salty breeze whipped against their faces as they raced against time to catch the final ferry leaving the island. Darius, Kenji, Sammy, and Brooklynn trailed closely behind, their hearts pounding in sync with their rapid footsteps.
However, as they burst onto the wooden docks, a wave of dread washed over them. To their dismay, the dock was eerily empty—no boats bobbed gently in the water, not a soul was in sight. The realization struck them like a cold wave: they had arrived too late.
"They're gone," Darius said in terror. "They're all gone."
"They'll be back for us, won't they?" Sammy asks.
"Of course they will," Darius said. "And until then, we've got each other. Right, Mr. VIP?"
"Absolutely, Dino-nerd." Kenji stated.
"Hey, don't forget "superstar"," Brooklynn called in.
"Barf." Yaz said.
"Oh, don't you go doing that, track star!" Peter joked, shaking her around a little. "Or I might try out swimming strength."
"Do it, I might just drown you," Yaz dared him.
Peter chuckled. "I'd see you try."
"We thought it'd be fun. We thought we'd be safe. But we didn't realize the horror waiting for us on the island."
The canister that had once held an ominous creature now lay shattered on the ground, its glass fragments glinting like shards of broken ice. Wires hung limply around it, twisted and coiled in disarray as if a great struggle had taken place. A thick, viscous green ooze oozed across the floor, creating a stark contrast against the cold, hard surface. The heavy doors swung wide open, their metal frames marred by deep claw marks that scored the wood beneath, evidence of something fierce and desperate that had forced its way out. The air was thick with tension, an unsettling reminder of the chaos that had unfolded in this once-sterile environment.
As she stepped out of the shadowy chamber and into the dense embrace of the jungle, the girl felt the cool, dew-kissed grass brush against her palm. Sunlight filtered through the heavy canopy above, casting dappled shadows across the vibrant undergrowth. Her senses heightened, she inhaled deeply, the earthy aroma of damp foliage mingling with the sweet scent of wild blooms. Suddenly, a peculiar odor pricked her awareness, and a low growl escaped her lips. Instinctively, she unsheathed her gleaming metal claws, their sharp edges glinting in the sunlight, as she poised herself for whatever threat lurked in the shadows.
"Claws, teeth, screaming... So much screaming."
All the fences were down. The dinosaurs were running free. All except for one. In the main park, while they were running through the tunnels, the Indominous was killed by the Mosasorus during a fight against the Tyranasorus Rex.
Beneath the surface beauty of the park lay mysterious secrets waiting to be uncovered. As one ventured deeper into the hidden chambers, rows of canisters came into view, each containing enigmatic organisms, their unique DNA swirling within the transparent confines.
"Despite all the hardships..."
One canister, ominously filled with a thick black liquid, stood out, accompanied by a sleek laptop and a briefcase that hinted at an elusive substance—perhaps a remedy for something far beyond the ordinary.
Nearby, another canister housed a peculiar creature resembling a rhinoceros, its imposing form a stark contrast to the delicate balance of nature outside.
"...we'll never give up."
In a separate chamber, a menacing scorpion lay curled in its compartment, its exoskeleton glinting ominously under the dim light. And there was a strange creature with wings, suspended gracefully within its canister, poised to take flight into the unknown.
Each of these specimens told a story of scientific experimentation and the tantalizing potential hidden within the park's depths.
"We'll keep fighting."
Roxie was on the boat, demanding the people on board to turn back. "Turn this boat around."
"That's the promise we make every day we get."
"Turn it around right now!"
"We will survive. We will get home."
"Because no matter what happens, no matter what this place throws at us next, none of us are in this alone."
The others began to walk through the jungle, seeing they needed to begin finding ways to survive while on the island.
Bumpy wandered through the dense, vibrant jungle, the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves enveloping her. Suddenly, a sound caught her attention—she glanced toward the underbrush and spotted a pair of polished black boots emerging from the shadows of the thick greenery. Her heart raced, and an involuntary squeal escaped her lips as she turned on her paws and darted away, hoping the mysterious figure would give chase.
As she sprinted through the foliage, the sunlight filtered through the jungle, creating a dance of light and shadows on the forest floor. There, lying motionless on the ground, was Ben, the familiar outline of his form barely visible amid the tangled roots and damp leaves.
The person in the ominous black boots lunged forward and delivered a swift kick to Ben. Bumpy gasped as Ben stirred, groaning softly as he began to regain consciousness. The tension in the air was palpable as she watched, unsure of what would happen next.
Ben opened his eyes looked up and let out a scream at what he saw...
