Glenda: I'm going to miss you so much Elphie!
Elphaba: You can write to me whenever you want.
Glenda: What if you're out?
Elphaba: If so I will just be at Nessa's room.
Glenda: Elphie, I want you to get out! I already talked to Fiyero about it and he has agreed.
Elphaba: I don't need Fiyero to do anything for me.
Glenda: I don't understand did something happen? When you two were in the library studying.
Elphaba: No of course not...I just don't want people to get the wrong idea about him and me. You know...
Glenda: Oh Elphie everyone knows Fiyero's crazy about me.
Elphaba: Right...
Glenda: Please enjoy yourself a little.
Elphaba: okay...
Glenda: Let Fiyero take you out, go dancing see a movie or something.
Elphaba: Speaking of Fiyero, why isn't he here?
Glenda: He said his goodbyes very briefly this morning.
Elphaba: Why so briefly?
Glenda: I don't know, he's been so distant.
Can you talk to him Elphie?
Elphaba: I don't know...
Glenda: Please Elphie!!! He will listen to you.
Elphaba: What makes you think that?
Glenda: Because he's always talking about how smart you are.
Elphaba: He is?
Glenda: Yes he thinks very highly of you...
Elphaba: okay...
Back at school
Elphaba has just made it back from seeing Glenda off. She decided to go find Fiyero. Who was in his room just goofing around. She knocked on the door at least five times. Before he actually answered it. When he did he was shocked to see Elphaba.
Fiyero: Well isn't it funny how we keep meeting like this.
Elphaba: (rolled her eyes) Why didn't you come say goodbye to Glenda?
Fiyero: I called her this morning. (He said walking to his sofa) You coming in or are you just going to stand there?
Elphaba is hesitant but goes in closing the door behind her. She is shocked at how big his room is it looks literally like a mini apartment five times bigger than hers in Glenda's. He even had a little kitchen area.
Elphaba: How in the world of Oz did you get this kind of room.
Fiyero: I'm Royalty remember
Elphaba: Oh right I always forget you're a prince.
Fiyero: Yeah,
Elphaba: You know Glenda wanted you to come see her off this morning. Why are you trying so hard to push her away?
Fiyero: You know why...
Elphaba: I don't know why you like to act that way.
Fiyero: I'm not acting.
Elphaba: Yes you are we both know you're not this nonchalant.
Fiyero: You think you really know me don't you?
Elphaba: I probably know you better than you know yourself. And you know I'm right!
Fiyero: (taking a deep breath) Yeah I know...
Elphaba: (she takes a seat next to him) Look I heard you the other day in the library and you know I feel the same way. I just don't wanna hurt her.
Fiyero: I don't wanna hurt her either, but I wanna be with you. I promise you she will get over it.
Elphaba: And what if she doesn't?
Fiyero: Well you will still have me... (They smiled at each other)
The next couple of days Fiyero and Elphaba had became quite the pair. They were always together. Fiyero walked her to all her classes and her room everyday. They were so infatuated with each other that they did not notice that they had became the schools gossip. It was like nothing else matter as long as they were happy.
Lunch table
Boq: Nessa don't you think your sister and Fiyero have gotten a little close lately.
Nessa: They have always been friends.
Boq: No I know that I mean since Glenda has been gone they've got an even closer.
Nessa: What are you trying to say?
(Boq said nothing he just looked at Nessa) I hope you're not trying to imply that my sister is hooking up with her best friend's boyfriend.
Boq: I'm sorry but look at them...
They glanced over and saw a very cozy Elphaba and Fiyero. In their own little world laughing and giggling. Nessa had to admit she never saw her sister so happy. It truly worried her.
Nessa: Come on let's go over there.
They went over and joined Elphaba and Fiyero.
Elphaba: Oh hi guys...
Nessa: Hay
Boq: Hay Fiyero, have you spoken to Glenda lately?
Fiyero: No but Elphaba has.
Elphaba: Yeah, her grandma is doing fine. She should be home soon.
Nessa: That's good.
Boq: Why haven't you talked to her Fiyero?
Fiyero: Elphaba tells her I said hello.
Boq: But your supposed to be her boyfriend. (Fiyero starts to get annoyed)
Elphaba: (changing the subject) So what have you guys been up too?
Nessa: Well, I just learned how to make this spinach dip the other day. Boq loved it.
Elphaba: Oh where did you find the recipe?
Nessa: I made it up my self.
Fiyero: I never liked spinach dip, last time I tried to eat it I was sick for days.
Elphaba: Oh no baby when was that?
Fiyero: Like two ...(Boq cut him off)
Boq: Did you just call him baby?
Elphaba: WHAT?
Fiyero: No she didn't...
Boq: Yes she did!!!! You heard her Nessa!!!
Nessa: I'm sure it was a accident.
Boq: Accident my foot!
Fiyero: Mane you need to chill! (He said getting up) Come on Elphaba!! (Elphaba got up to go with him)
