He Man and the Stories of Ever After High Chapter 26: Futterwacken, a He-Man + Ever After High Crossover fanfic

"For most Wonderlandians attending Wonderland High, students are either human or creatures that have developed sentient thought and can host incredible tea parties. Kobra Khan and Snake Face aren't like them, but they are the only teenagers among the Snake Men ranks eligible to attend the school, allowing Courtly to examine the Storybook of Legends that they possess. Many students do not consider the reptiles dangerous since they appear to be ordinary students. However, Zodac is the only one aware of their true identities and the king they serve. This could be the opportunity to expose them to everyone and gain an advantage in turning Wonderland against the Snake Men before it's too late."

Wonderland High-Cafeteria

Everyone watched in curiosity as Courtly's group faced off against the new students at Wonderland High. The tension was palpable, especially since the Ever After High and Eternian teenagers were focused on the serpents. More importantly, the Storybook of Legends was within their sights. Noticing the seriousness of the situation, Apple White decided to step in with her usual kindness to defuse the tension. She could sense that either the snakes or her friends might be inclined to start a fight.

"Greetings. My name is Apple White, daughter of Snow White and representative of Ever After High. While it's not my place to make any orders since we're not at our school, that book you have kind of belongs to us. Would it be possible for us to have it back?"

She asked Kobra to give him the book back to them since it originally came from the Enchanted Kingdom. This earned a laugh from Snake Face at how innocent the princess was acting, more or less not knowing who she was talking to.

"This is what King Randor teamed up with when he defeated King Hiss and the Evil Queen Have to say, not that impressive. But the eyes? That caught my attention. Want to compare with mine?"

The snake girl asked Apple before having snakes coming out of her eyes which caused Apple White to pass out from the sight. The one to capture her from hitting the ground was Skeletor since he was by her side, the others saw him leaving Skeletor embarrassed about saving Apple.

"Nice save."

Buzz-Off told Skeletor as the undead skeleton said nothing but placed the princess near a table since he was focused on the book that could give him a win back at Eternos and Ever After High. He-Man decided to handle the conversation since he was Randor's son and wouldn't let the snakes bully his friends.

"My father chose these people because they have heart and kindness, unlike your King who corrupts everyone in his sight. And responsible for the people he's turning into snakes by force."

He accused them of the people they saw back in the forest with Rattlor and Tung Lashor who had a small army of Snake warriors. The students around them muttered at his accusation to see if he was telling the truth, Kobra hissed at the prince's response toward them since he barely knew the truth.

"What you saw were hatchlings that were buried in the prison that Zodac's people had locked up within his mountain. As to the people you believe we've 'changed'. We've given them the power of Ka, the same power that your companion has."

Pointing toward Teela who couldn't hide her appearance from everyone since it was the truth. Her response was hissing back at Kobra since it was King Hiss's fault in the first place for letting Raven's mother use his magic. However, she restrained herself since this form could be removed once they've taken them down and taken the Storybook of Legends from Kobra.

"Besides. I'm not the one who started this madness, she did. When she gave me the book willingly."

Informing them and looking over toward Briar Beauty leaving her friends to look at her to see if he was telling the truth. Most of them wanted to believe it was a lie but saw the look on Briar's face seeing it was true. R'qazz looked at the snake who was enjoying the view of everyone turning against Briar, only for him to not do so as the beast boy walked over and picked him up by the neck.

"Even a cold-blooded snake should know to never mess with someone's pack. Especially when one of them has bigger fangs."

Threatened the snake as R'qazz showed him how big his teeth were, only for Courtly to intervene with a playing card in her hand with the symbol of a pillow. The card changed into a pillow which made the two move away to prevent a fight from starting in the cafeteria.

"I should have also mentioned that besides being class president, I'm vice principal of Wonderland High. Which in turn means I'm the principal, it's not fair to promote a vice principal out of their vice principal job just to make them principal. It's principally a matter of principle."

Explaining not only did she welcome new students to the school but was in charge of Wonderland High at the same time. The explanation made half of the Ever After High kids and Eternians confused by the jester's position but tried to stay focused on the matter at hand. Lizzie Hearts did so as she was upset with the Snakes.

"And my mother? Do you know about how they plan on going after her and taking her throne?"

Questioning Courtly that the students she welcomed to their old school would overthrow the Queen of Hearts and turn Wonderland into a reptile kingdom. The jester looked at Kobra Khan and Snake Face to see if she was telling the truth, they shrugged their shoulders as if it was a half-truth leaving Lizzie to attack him to prevent him from escaping. She was held back by Kitty and Maddie since they didn't want to get in trouble, however. It left the Chesire Cat to think of an idea to handle this matter Wonderland style.

"Instead of us trying to take off heads, we should handle this the old way before everyone started acting serious. Might I suggest, Futterwacken?"

Kitty suggested an idea to handle their dispute which made the students in the cafeteria uproar in excitement for that suggestion being made. The response made everyone get up from their tables and start moving everything around to clear space for Kitty's idea.

"Futterwacken? What in witchcraft's name is Futterwacken?"

Evil Lyn questioned Kitty at what the name meant since she'd never heard the term nor anyone amongst the group. Maddie clapped her hand in excitement since it was the first time she could show her friends what activities she did growing up in Wonderland.

"Only the most infamous, stupendous, and more importantly frabjous dance that anybody and nobody can do in Wonderland."

Responding to the witch about how the dance was a way to handle personal matters and let out one's true wonderful self without any shame. Courtly Jester made her way to the center of the cafeteria where she pulled a microphone from her pocket to announce the Futterwacken contest.

"You all heard it, a Futterwacken has been decreed. And once it is declared, nobody can walk away. Otherwise, it's off with their head, now here are the rules. Whoever does the most frabjous dance, will be allowed to leave school early. The loser? Detention. You got a few minutes before we start the dance."

Instructing them about what the rules were and the consequences of not participating or losing. While it didn't sound that bad since they've danced back at Ever After High and attended various dances, Kobra Khan had the advantage which included having the Storybook of Legends on his side. He opened the book for Snake Face to sign as a feather appeared from the book, indicating that it was the real book. Grabbing the feather and writing her name within the pages, she felt a surge of magic flowing into her as well as her eyes glowing with an understanding of her destiny.

"What a rush. Especially how my story involves being the Snake Men's most flawless serpent in all the lands. Like so."

Snake Face announced before smiling at several students who suddenly fell for her gaze and walked toward her to accompany herself and Kobra Khan to aide them in the Futterwacken contest. Despite them having an advantage, it didn't stop Raven since she's heard many stories from Maddie Hatter about Futterwacken dancing when they first met.

"Okay, here's the plan. Everyone pairs up with a partner, no matter what happens. Don't stop dancing until they stop dancing."

Explaining what to do when they start to Futterwacken to which everyone started to go with their respective partners. The only one that was out of a partner was Teela since was standing near Briar who was checking on Apple if she was okay. The new Sorceress hissed at Courtly to not expect her to dance as she would remain with the others.

"Alrighty then. With everyone paired up, let the Futterwacken. Begin!"

The Vice Principal announced as she threw a card in the air which exploded into fireworks which started the contest. Courtly brought in the school band which was a set of fish musicians as they started to play on their instruments to make a beat for the competitors. Kobra Khan and Snake Face made the first moves as they used their flexibility to pull off moves that were impossible for the Ever After High and Eternian students to do. Zodac took the lead and brought Maddie to the dance floor for the both of them to show off their moves.

"Said there's nothing that we can't do when we're dancing. I can feel the music more when I'm with you. With your hands on me, I feel my heartbeat racing."

Maddie started to sing for their team while pulling off various spins around Zodac as the couple was able to move in a different manner than Kobra Khan and Snake Face. They moved away and allowed Bunny and Alistar to take the spotlight as the pair smiled at how they helped in Futterwacken.

"Had to let go of everything that I've known. Before, 'ore, 'ore!"

Bunny called out before doing a run toward Alistar making everyone think he was going to catch her. Only to see their Wonderlandian change into an actual bunny right in front of their eyes. Alistar then caught Bunny and allowed her to jump around his shoulders pulling off various moves on top of his head. With the couple displaying their moves against the snakes, the others participate as they go into a synchronized dance causing Kobra and Snake Face to move back.

"One, two, three, come with me. We can work it differently. One, two, three, and dance with me tonight. And maybe all our dreams are coming true and baby, I can feel you feel it, too. So just let me move you."

Singing toward the snakes as the pairs that partnered up showed their dancing styles toward the snakes. In the background, Apple was slowly regaining consciousness as she saw her friend Futterwacken against Kobra Khan and noticed Briar standing by her side. The two said nothing as they continued to watch the others competing in an attempt to leave Wonderland High.

The girls sang against them which left Snake Face to let out a roar toward them making the group move away as it was her turn to display her charms. The snake girl started to belly dance in an elusive manner which made the boys hypnotize by her slow movement toward them.

"Yeah, little faster, little slower, it doesn't matter. Cause I never known myself this good till now. And I hope you know it's changing me forever. Forever!"

Snake face called out as she made the Wonderland High students push away the others leaving the snake girl to have her sights on He-Man. The others were unable to get past the students due to how many there were as Snake Face lured Randor's son closer to where she caressed his face.

"Had to let go of everything that I've known. Before, 'ore, 'ore!"

Telling Adam as she bared her fangs toward him and prepared herself to bite into his neck. It was interrupted by Teela who stomped her feet to the ground making the fish band stop playing as they looked at the new sorceress, she walked toward the dance floor and pulled Adam toward her, and used him as a dance partner.

Joining the singing as she spun Adam around with no trouble while singling Raven to get the others ready for one last attempt to amaze the crowd if they were planning on leaving Wonderland High. The Evil Queen's daughter managed to slip past the hypnotized students and pull them away from her friends as they regrouped around Adam and Teela to finish off the Futterwacken contest.

They finished the dance as they each did an unusual pose that would be unlike any move that the Wonderland High students had ever done before. Their stance made the group break free from their hypnotic state and cheer for Raven's team as they managed to win the Futterwacken. With them declared the winner, they noticed the doors opening up leading back outside and toward the Queen of Hearts castle as well as having their weapons returned to them.

"Thank you for the Futterwacken. It's just what we needed."

Maddie Hatter thanked the snakes for their dance as she didn't notice Zodac's attempt to take the Storybook of Legends away from Kobra. Only for the snake boy to leap over him and kick him toward the ground. Extending his claws and going for the kill, he was punched in the face by He-Man and helped Zodac up.

"I think we overstayed our welcome."

Advised the two to run out of Wonderland High and back outside to avoid getting into a fight with the snakes. Before Kobra and Snake Face could attack, the door closed on them and they were forced to remain in its halls until the end of the day. However, they had managed to win uniquely since they could regroup with the others and inform them about the return of the queen's daughter and Teela being blessed by the spirit of Ka. All they had to do now was wait until they were allowed to leave Wonderland High.

Later-Watch Winder Way

Having narrowly escaped the snakes and Wonderland High, Lizzie Hearts was able to find a path for her friends that would take them directly to her mother's castle without anyone trying to set a trap or ambush them out of nowhere. In the back of the group were Apple and Briar who wanted to talk amongst themselves since everyone felt betrayed by Briar's reckless action.

"Briar, I need an explanation about why you did it. You found the book and could have given it to the headmaster, why did you take it from the school?"

Apple asked her friend about what made Briar do something reckless. Her best friend stopped in her tracks which made Apple stop as well so they could have distance from the group since it was a personal moment for Briar.

"One hundred years."

Briar told her in three words about why she did it which made Apple confused by the response. It left the girl to sigh at how oblivious to what she meant by that since nobody understood what Briar would have to do once she wrote her name in the Storybook of Legends.

"In your story, you are going be poisoned for a week. Me? I'm going to be asleep for a hundred years. That means I'm going lose everyone close to me, I'm going to be the only girl to survive everyone at Ever After High."

Explaining how her sleep would keep her alive while everyone close to her would grow up to become adults or worse. Apple felt sorry for not thinking about Briar's situation since during her eternal sleep, she'd eventually met her true love and would rule her own kingdom. It however came at a price, Apple thought Briar was content with her story, but she wasn't.

"Briar. I didn't know you felt that way."

"That's because you focused on your future that you don't know what'll happen to the rest of us. Raven told you her reason because she doesn't want to hurt people, my reason is not losing everyone because I have to sleep. But that doesn't matter with what I've done to Lizzie."

She told Apple how despite thinking what she did was right to avoided writing her name in the book and losing everyone she cared for. Briar had unintentionally brought a dangerous enemy that didn't care for anyone but their preservation and getting revenge for being beaten. Briar walked away from Apple as she wanted to be by herself for a while, leaving Apple to follow to keep an eye out for Briar's safety. Meanwhile in the front was Raven who wanted to check up on Teela since she was responsible for getting everyone out of Wonderland High, only to be stopped by Evil Lyn.

"I wouldn't try it. While I was the Sorceress for a brief time back at Grayskull, I learned how Zoar was the spirit of will and strength when it came to looking after the innocent. Ka represented aggression and determination. Whatever we saw back there was something that wanted to protect the prince from getting bitten."

The witch informed Raven how Teela became protective when Adam's life was in danger due to the snake girl's influence. It made Raven contemplate what that meant since she knew about them being friends since they were kids, but it seemed like there was more to it. Deciding to keep her thoughts to herself, the group managed to make their way over a hill where they saw the Queen of Hearts castle. Lizzie's breath was taken away at the sight that it looked the same as when she left for Ever After High.

"It's a beautiful castle. My parent's castle resides in the mountains where they constructed it into a hive, but your home is a wonderful sight."

Buzz-Off compliments the princess at the castle where she grew up in as the group noticed something coming toward them. Not taking the chance to be taken by surprise, the Eternian's pulled out their weapons preparing themselves for combat, only for the incoming threat to be someone that one of them in the group would consider family.

"Daddy!"

Bunny said in excitement as it was her father, the White Rabbit. Everyone placed their weapons away when they heard the girl called out to him since he didn't have soldiers with him like Chase did when they met the officer. Taking a moment to dust himself off, the White Rabbit reverts into a human form and walks over to hug his daughter.

"I heard about the skirmish happening at the school. Along getting a perfect grade at best, but also about those two new students Courtly informed me about."

Complimenting his daughter and about the Snake duo showing themselves to the public along them having the Storybook of Legends in their possession. They nodded at the information that was replied to him from the school as it was serious. Amongst the crowd he saw Lizzie Hearts which caused the rabbit to bow toward the princess it had been a while since he'd seen the princess.

"I'd like to see my mother now."

She requested to be taken to her home and see the Queen of Hearts since she'd waited long enough to see her mother after the months she's spent at Ever After High. The White Rabbit wanted to deny the request since she wasn't the same person that spared her daughter's life by sending her away for protection, she'd become something else. But there was no chance in changing her mind leaving the rabbit to nod his head at her request as he'd take them to the castle where they'd finally meet the Queen of Hearts face to face.
