Elphaba stared at herself in the mirror. She constantly played with her hair trying to find a flattering way to style it. Her stomach felt like it was in knots. The words of her father echoed in her head. Making her think how could Fiyero's parents possibly love her. When her own father can't.

But she tried to put the doubt out of her mind. As she walked out of the bathroom to join Fiyero in bed. He was half asleep but waiting on her so they could cuddle. Once she got in she laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. Before she knew it time began to fly. It was now a new day at exactly 2:00 p.m. Elphaba and Fiyero were waiting on his parents at the restaurant. Elphaba felt terrible she felt as if she couldn't breathe.

Elphaba: Fiyero are you sure this is a good idea?

Fiyero: Yes

Elphaba: Well I don't feel good. This can't be good for the baby either. I think I want to go home.

Fiyero: Baby everything will be fine. Oh look there they are.

Elphaba: (heart started beeping rapidly) I gotta throw up. (She ran to the bathroom)

Fiyero started to run after her when his mother called out to him.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Fiyero Darling

Fiyero: Hi mother (he walked over to hug her)

Mr.Tigelaar: Hello son

Fiyero: Hello father, please sit down.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Where is this lovely girl we have been hearing so much about?

Fiyero: She's ran to the restroom she will be right back.

Mr.Tigelaar: Okay, well how have you been son?

Fiyero: I've been great.

Mr.Tigelaar: Yes, I have to admit we didn't have high hopes for you at this school. You know we thought you get kicked out like all the others. But you definitely surprised us.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Not to mention your grades have been amazing.

Fiyero: Yeah that's all thinks to Elphaba she's very smart and one of the most high ranked students at the school.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Well we can't wait to meet her!

Fiyero: Yes I can't wait for you to meet her too. Let me go check on her.

He got up and walked over to the women's restroom. But she seems to not be there. He walked outside of the restaurant and found her standing on the side of the building.

Fiyero: WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

Elphaba: (she jumped as he scared her) Stop sneaking up on me like that.

Fiyero: Why are you out here?

Elphaba: I'm scared!

Fiyero: Your my Elphaba your not scared of anything! Now come on.

He held his hand out for her and she took it.

She took a deep breath as they walked back in.

Fiyero: Mother Father this is my girlfriend Elphaba. (Elphaba stared at the floor as he introduced her)

Mrs. Tigelaar: Well well how are we supposed to see that beautiful face if you're looking at the floor love? (Elphaba looks at them)

Elphaba: Hi

Mr.Tigelaar: Fiyero she is beautiful.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Isn't she, come on darling sit down. (She said petting on the seat next to her)

Elphaba: Okay (Fiyero pulled out her seat then sat next to her)

Mrs. Tigelaar: Elphaba we've heard a great deal about you. You're all our son ever talks about anymore.

Elphaba: He's all I ever talk about too. I think he is very special.

Mr. Tigelaar: You're the special one we were starting to lose hope for our son. But you seem to have a lasting effect on him.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Yes, you two remind me of us. When I met my husband he was as wild as a hog.

Mr. Tigelaar: I wasn't that bad.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Yes you were. (Elphaba and Fiyero laughed)

Fiyero: I'm very serious about her, that's part of the reason I wanted you all to meet.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Well we are very impressed. Tell me Elphaba when will it be a good time for us to meet your parents?

Elphaba: Oh well my mom passed away when I was young.

Mr. Tigelaar: Oh we are sorry to hear that.

Elphaba: Thank you.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Yes it's a terrible thing to grow up without a mother.

Elphaba: Yes, and my father and I don't really have the best relationship.

Mrs.Tigelaar: Oh Dear

Elphaba: Yeah so I'm kind of on my own.

Mr.Tigelaar: Why don't you have a good relationship with your father?

Elphaba: Because of my appearance. I'm an embarrassment to him and my sister.

Mrs. Tigelaar: You can't be serious.

Mr. Tigelaar: I don't get it. What's wrong with your appearance?

Fiyero: That's what I said I think she's breath taking.

Mr.Tigelaar: She is!

Fiyero: But he treats her horrible.

Mr.Tigelaar: You've met him?

Fiyero: Yes...

Mrs. Tigelaar: Elphaba we can't help who we get as parents. I myself had a careless father as well. For a long time I didn't feel like I was worthy of love.

Elphaba: That's exactly how I felt it didn't change until I met Fiyero and my best friend Glenda.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Well good, and I know we just met but I feel like we are going to be really close.

Fiyero: Well actually mother there is something else we need to talk to you guys about.

Elphaba: Now?

Fiyero: If not now then when baby?

Mr.Tigelaar: What is it son?

Fiyero: Elphaba and I are expecting.

Mr.Tigelaar: WHAT?!

Mrs. Tigelaar: (screamed out loud)

Elphaba: I'M SORRY!!!!

Fiyero: Why are you sorry?

Elphaba: I DON'T KNOW!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!!

Mr. Tigelaar: Wait a minute everybody just calm down!! Now my son expecting what?

Fiyero: We are expecting a baby Elphaba's pregnant.

Mrs. Tigelaar: Your really with child?

Elphaba: Yes, Mrs.Tigelaar are you crying?

Mrs. Tigelaar: Yes darling but they are tears of joy.

Fiyero: You guys aren't mad?

Mr.Tigelaar: I have no reason to be mad. You two are grown.

Mrs.Tigelaar: (screamed again)

Mr. Tigelaar: Honey please stop.

Elphaba: Are you sure you're okay? (She asked Fiyero's mother)

Mrs.Tigelaar: Oh my darling you don't understand. After I had Fiyero I desperately wanted to have another baby. But sadly it just wasn't in the cards for me. Now you guys are here telling me that I'm getting blessed with a beautiful grandchild. I just couldn't be happier. (She hugged Elphaba)
