Elphaba is at school and she just finished her classes for the day. She decided to go find Glenda since she skipped two of their classes they had together. When she finally catches up with her. She sees Glenda and Bobby playfully playing in the courtyard.
Elphaba: GLENDA!!
Glenda: Oh hay Elphie didn't see you there.
Bobby: Hi Ms. Emerald
Elphaba: My name is Elphaba!
Bobby: I'm sorry Elphaba.
Elphaba: Glenda what are you doing you missed two of our classes.
Glenda: No way it's only 10 something.
Elphaba: It's 2:30
Glenda: WHAT?!
Bobby: Don't worry about it! Who needs school anyway!
Elphaba: Unbelievable
Bobby: It's not like we are going to use this in our everyday life anyway.
Glenda: True
Elphaba: Glenda!
Glenda: Elphie I'm sorry I promise I will be there tomorrow.
Elphaba: Whatever...
Bobby: We are going down to the lake. Wanna come?
Elphaba: No I gotta get home to my kid.
Bobby: What you got a kid. You must be pretty active. (He said with a smirk)
Elphaba: Excuse me!
Glenda: It's okay Elphie I will see you tomorrow.
Elphaba: Glenda what about Boq?
Glenda: What about him? Come on Bobby!
Bobby: See you later Emerald. (Elphaba rolled her eyes and walked off)
Later at the lake
Bobby: So I wanna ask you something.
Glenda: Yeah?
Bobby: Are you with this Boq fella?
Glenda: Well I was but he's been acting very odd lately.
Bobby: Can you blame him? You've been spending all your time with me. Not that I'm complaining.
Glenda: Yeah I know me and Boq just haven't been on the same page for a while now. Besides he's been spending all his time with ANNA. (she said very annoyed)
Bobby: You seem like that bothers you.
Glenda: It's annoying especially when he claims to care so deeply for me.
Bobby: Do you care deeply for him?
Glenda: I don't know...
Bobby: Do you care deeply for me?
Glenda: What?
Bobby: Your blushing
Glenda: What no I'm not. (She tried to hide her face)
Bobby: If I were to kiss you right now what would you do?
Glenda: I don't know (he kissed her)
Back at Fiyero and Elphaba's house
Elphaba is just getting home and she is mad as hell. Fiyero is sitting on the couch playing with Liir. When Elphaba walks in and slams the door.
Fiyero: Well someone pissed off your mommy. (He said to his son)
Elphaba: I can't stand that Bobby!
Fiyero: WHAT did he try you?
Elphaba: What are you talking about?
Fiyero: Elphaba that boy likes you.
Elphaba: Oh stop it (she said taking Liir out of his arms)
Fiyero: He does!
Elphaba: He likes Glenda and she's spending all of her time with him. Do you know she missed two of her classes with me. When I caught up with her she said she thought it was still 10 in the morning.
Fiyero: Well she probably missed all her classes then.
Elphaba: She's acting so gullible.
Fiyero: Baby it's Glenda she is gullible.
Elphaba: She's not even thinking about Boq.
Fiyero: Well Boq been busy with Anna.
Elphaba: What? Why didn't you tell me?
Fiyero: I knew you would be upset. But Glenda isn't innocent either. She's been spending a lot of her time with Bobby. And Boq has definitely noticed.
Elphaba: I can't believe this. I thought everything was going great with them except for Glenda not wanting to be intimate with him.
Fiyero: Maybe that was the problem.
Elphaba: Yeah but it's a rather stupid problem. Would it have been a problem for us?
Fiyero: No because I'm in love with you. But maybe it isn't love on their end.
Elphaba: Maybe, but anyway how was your day with Liir?
Fiyero: Oh good we played, ate and we slept. It was a good day right buddy? (Liir smiled at his daddy)
Elphaba: Well I can tell you're both happy. (She said kissing her son then kissing Fiyero)
Fiyero: Yeah I like these flexed hours we have at school.
Elphaba: Yes and tomorrow you get to spend the day with Mommy.
Fiyero: Yeah and I was thinking maybe when I get home we could take him to the fair.
Elphaba: Oh yeah I heard they are going to have fireworks and everything. We love to go.
Fiyero: Great it's a date.
Elphaba: Okay (she kissed him)
The next day
Fiyero and Boq are in the lunch room.
Fiyero: So you're going to talk to Glenda?
Boq: Talk to her about what?
Fiyero: You know y'all little situation ship. If you're not going to be together you might it's well break up.
Boq: Break up?
Fiyero: Yeah that way you would at least be free to date Anna honestly.
Boq: Yeah I guess you're right. (Just then Glenda walked up)
Glenda: Where is Elphie I have been looking for her all day?
Fiyero: She stayed at home with Liir today. I'm going ahead and heading out myself taking my family to the fair tonight. (He said leaving)
Boq: Hi
Glenda: Hi
Boq: Been having fun with Bobby?
Glenda: Well you've been having fun with Anna! Where is she anyway?
Boq: I'm not sure. Where is Bobby?
Glenda: How am I supposed to know I'm not his girlfriend.
Boq: Yeah well you could have fooled me!
Glenda: Boq please stop I don't wanna fight with you. (She said sitting down beside him)
Boq: Me either
Glenda: Let's start over?
Boq: Okay you wanna go to the fair tonight.
Glenda: I would love that!
Boq: Well my lady I will pick you up at 7.
Glenda: okay
That night Elphaba and Fiyero went to the fair. Everyone was so excited to finally meet Liir. He was the star of the night and everyone couldn't get over how adorable he truly was.
Glenda: Elphie Liir is a little star.
Elphaba: Yes he's definitely going to be a ladies man.
Glenda: Most definitely.
Elphaba: So who's your date for the evening?
Glenda: You know it's Boq.
Elphaba: Boq I thought you two broke up the way you have been hanging around Bobby.
Glenda: Oh Elphie stop it Bobby is just a good friend. He knows that's all we are.
Elphaba: How does he know?
Glenda: Because he got the message when I slapped him for kissing me.
Elphaba: What?
Glenda: Yeah when we went to the lake he kissed me and I slapped him. I bet he won't try that again.
Elphaba: Glenda I don't like him.
Glenda: Elphie you worry too much. He's just my friend nothing to worry about. Oh look here come the guys. Hay we are over here!
Fiyero: Hay baby (he kissed Elphaba then took his son out of her arms) My boy are you ready to see some fireworks? (Liir smiled at his dad)
Elphaba: I hope it isn't too loud for him.
Fiyero: Oh stop worrying he will be fine.
Glenda: Aren't they cute?
Boq: Yeah maybe one day that will be us.
Glenda: (she laughed) Boq you're so silly.
Boq: Um okay...
The awkwardness of silence lingered between them. As Boq was confused about what was so funny.
Boq: Do you wanna ride some rides?
Glenda: Sure, we're going to ride some rides guys.
Elphaba: Okay (just then Nessa rolled up)
Nessa: Oh my Oz! Is that him? Can I hold him?
Fiyero: Um sure (he puts his son on her lap) okay buddy this is your auntie.
Elphaba: I didn't think you cared to meet him.
Nessa: Yes I did! But I knew you were still mad at me.
Elphaba: WELL YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!
Nessa: WELL HOW WAS I SUPPOSED...(Fiyero cuts her off)
Fiyero: HAY HAY lets not fight on this beautiful night. This should be a fresh start for us. Nessa I think me and Elphaba both agree that we will love for you to be in his life as long as you don't involve your father.
Nessa: Oh I promise I won't. I already love him so much. She hugged her nephew.
Elphaba: Yeah he has that effect on everyone that meets him.
In the line for a ride
The awkwardness was still very much there. Glenda constantly looks around as if she was looking for someone. Which really started to bother Boq.
Boq: Do you have somewhere else to be?
Glenda: What no!
Boq: Oh I just thought that's why you kept looking around. You barely said two words to me.
Glenda: Boq I'm trying okay!
Boq: If you don't really want to try. Just say that and I'll understand. I know you like Bobby.
Glenda: What no I don't!
Boq: Yes, you do! That's the kind of guy you're attracted to not me. Let's be honest it's never been me. Maybe the best thing for me to do is to let you go so you can go be happy.
Glenda: But Boq... I'm so sorry.
She walked off leaving Boq standing there in line alone. His heart felt like it was breaking in a million tiny pieces.
