Episode XII (12): Desert Moon Light the Way

Omar stopped the van as he cried, "Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Agrabah. Keep your seatbelts on until we come to a full and complete stop."

As the van stopped, the heroes unbuckled their seatbelts and stepped outside the van.

Zander who had been transformed into a jackal warned, "This is a city that's easy to get lost in so we need to find a map for this world. However, should you come across Jafar, do not confront him."

Danyal rubbed the lamp and she asked the Genie, "Is it possible for you to create barriers in the human mind? I hate the thought of being hypnotized by a Cobra Commander with a God complex."

"I can make it happen if you wish it," the Genie told her.

Danyal stated, "I wish for my mind to be protected from hypnosis."

"As you wish," the Genie said. He pointed his finger at Danyal's forehead. She laughed as she felt his magic.

Bianca stated, "Now that's taken care of. We need to find a map for Agrabah."

"Where are we going to find someone who sells maps?" Natius asked.

Mahad answered, "The Marketplace."

"It's also likely that we'll see Aladdin there," Zander added. Then an idea came to him. "Hey, he knows the city better than anyone else. With him by our side, why should we need a map?"

Mahad smiled, "Good idea. Let's find Aladdin."

Bianca stated, "Let's just hope that we don't bump into Jafar."

"I don't think he has a reason to be out in public," said Jeanette.

Mahad stated, "She's right. He is in the palace."

With that being settled, the heroes headed to the marketplace, hoping to find Aladdin. As Zander stated, Agrabah was a city easy to get lost in, so everyone agreed to stay together. Still, finding Aladdin wasn't going to be easy. At least the townspeople didn't pay much mind to the heroes or the animals in their group.

Mahad noticed a man on the roof!

"Stop thief!" yelled a voice.

No doubt in the heroes' minds that the thief in question was Aladdin. While it was true that the young man was a thief, he didn't steal out of greed or to hurt anyone. He was just trying to survive. But though he was the warrior of reliability, he knew taking responsibility for his crimes meant a one-way trip to the palace dungeon and he'd rather not give up his freedom because it meant losing his only thread of surviving.

Natius cried, "Let's follow him."

Aladdin ran through the streets, trying to escape the royal guard.

Natius asked Mahad, "How are we to catch up with him?"

The Royal Guard yelled, "I'll have your hands for a trophy, street rat!"

Bianca commented, "That's disturbing."

Mahad stated, "It's the Middle East. What'd you expect?"

Omar asked, "Did you really have to say that?"

Natius stated, "We need to figure out where Aladdin is at now."

Mahad noticed that Aladdin had taken a yellow carpet to escape the guards and he used it like a parachute.

Natius cried, "Let's go!"

The heroes turned the corner and found Aladdin, startling him. "Whoa, hey," he cried in surprise.

"Sorry about that," Natius said.

"No problem," Aladdin replied. He looked closely at the heroes. "I don't think I've seen any of you around before."

"No," Jeanette answered, "we're not from around here."

The heroes ran into an alley and found Aladdin.

Aladdin was a young man with black hair and brown eyes wearing a purple vest and white pants.

Mahad asked Aladdin, "Do you know about the Cave of Wonders?"

Aladdin thought and answered, "Can't say that I have."

Natius pulled Mahad close to him. "I don't think he would know," he whispered. "He didn't learn about that place until he was in the dungeon."

Mahad asked Natius, "What should we focus on?"

Natius stated to Aladdin, "I'm Natius, this is Bianca, Danyal, Mahado, NausicaƤ, Anakin Strife, ToboƩ, Vandela, Omar, and the black jackal is Zander. "

Oliver stated, "Name's Oliver, this is my mentor Figaro."

Aladdin asked, "What brings you to this place?"

Natius stated, "We're looking for my friend's younger sister."

Aladdin was about to question the situation as to what happened to cause the girl to go missing, but instead, he offered, "I can help you look for her."

Mahad's smile brightened up. "Would you really?"

"Sure," he insisted. "I know my way around these streets and can be helpful. Besides, Agrabah can be pretty dangerous if you're not careful."

Bianca was outraged. "Not careful? We can take care of ourselves, thank you very much."

"Bianca," Jeanette scolded.

"Hey, I'm not saying I don't think you can," Aladdin said defensively. "I'm just saying, I think you'd better stick with me."

Natius stated, "He has a good point. This city has a notorious reputation of being a thief's city."

Mahad stated, "He's right. That city is also the home of a dangerous man that is a grand vizier."

Bianca asked, "What's so important about a vizier?"

Omar answered, "The grand vizier were second only to a sultan in terms of political power, and they were a big deal in the Ottoman Empire."

"Not to mention that certain vizier is a Dark Master," Vandela muttered.

Bianca asked, "Why can't we just take him on? That coward almost had his finger cut off by my shurikens."

Danyal pointed out, "You would get yourself killed by a Cobra Commander with a God complex."

Omar added, "Also you don't have any protection from succumbing to the hypnotism of that Snake staff. So, we need to stick with Aladdin to prevent any fiascos like that from happening."

Bianca sighed in disappointment, and she asked, "Where should we go from here? I don't think this would be the appropriate place to discuss our situation."

Natius began to hear some commotion and to their shock they saw Mahad knocking Prince Achmed off his horse using the whip that the prince was carrying!

Achmed had a bloody lip from the whip's lash and Mahad threw the whip on the road to the palace, and he commented, "If you were a member of my family, you would be in a world of trouble especially with my uncle who has a zero tolerance for people like you! Showing disrespect to those who are less fortunate than you and trying to whip two harmless children! You disgraced your title!"

Outraged, the prince forced Mahad down, causing him to land in a puddle of mud. "That'll teach you to respect royalty, you worthless, filthy rat!"

Mahad wiped the mud from his face and grimaced. It also didn't help that some townsmen were laughing at Mahad and whispering rude remarks.

"What a disrespectful boy," one man whispered.

"The guards should punish him for his behavior," another muttered.

Aladdin held out his hand. "Are you okay, Mahad?" he asked, helping him up.

"I'm fine," he insisted, but his tone said otherwise.

Mahad closed his fist extending his middle finger towards the rude prince and Natius remarked to Achmed, "You are a jackass in the making!"

The prince shot one last look at the heroes. "And you are all miserable and worthless vermin and that's all you'll ever be!"

In a rage, Aladdin ran to the palace gates, but they closed on him.

Mahad commented, "None of us are worthless. You are unworthy of being called a prince in my eyes."

Danyal pointed out, "At least you didn't tell him not to turn your back on a tiger. I have seen these animals, and they are not cute and cuddly. They are the largest cat of the Felidae family and are not to be messed with. One swipe of their paw would decapitate a human."

Aladdin turned around. "Come on, guys. Don't let his words get to you."

Omar turned to his brother. "Mahad, you do realize the gesture you gave that guy doesn't mean anything to people in the Middle East, right?"

"I don't care," Mahad snapped.

Aladdin gave a reassuring smile. "I thought it was great of you, standing up to him. I would have done the same thing."

Mahad commented, "He brings back memories of the time that I was bullied and his attitude towards me is not worse than being called a terrorist and it didn't help when Ahab would spread lies about my late father being a dark sorcerer in disguise when in actuality, he was a history teacher trying to do his job right."

All of his friends looked at him in sadness. They were silent for a moment until Aladdin offered them all a place to stay at his home for the time being. With nowhere else to go, the heroes knew they couldn't refuse. So they followed Aladdin to the furthest part of town and came to one of the poorest parts of Agrabah.

Mahad looked at the moon and he began to think about how his uncle and the family parrot would react to the situation that he was in.

He began to think about the night that changed his life forever. The night that he lost his father.

He remembered the times that his father would get into feuds with a rude and prejudiced neighbor who lived in a floor above in the Lonely Lamp Apartment complex.

Flashback 2006

Nine year old Mahad looked out the window of the apartment they were in as a 1992 Honda Oddysey began to pull up in the parking lot of the apartment complex. His father Jafar Mustafa Nasir was pulling up on the parking lot and got out of his car. Jafar Nasir was a thirty-seven year old man with black hair, mustache and beard dressed in a beige flannel shirt, black jeans, and his walking shoes. He had a grin on his face as if he had successfully completed a duty to protect his family.

Unbeknownst to him, a paler man was hiding behind a bush. He had dark brown hair and jealous green eyes dressed in clothes that would protect him from an animal that was rattling and hissing for freedom! His name was Jonathan Charles Andreas, he preferred the name Jonny. He was an envious neighbor who had hatred against the Nasir family and he would hear from his son that he would give him assignments over the weekends, but this day was different as he clocked out of work at that time. He recently came across a black lamp about to fall off a railing under the bridge and he grabbed it and decided to take it for himself. When he rubbed it, he unleashed a genie who began laughing at his newfound freedom.

Jonathan was at first skeptical of the genie's power to grant wishes. However, after he dressed himself in protective clothing that prevents snakes from biting, his first wish was for a western diamond rattlesnake to get back at Mr. Nasir.

Jonathan wasted no time as he dropped the bag containing one of the most poisonous snakes in the United States. Little did he know that his hated neighbor was a father, and he was just trying to do his job properly as a history teacher.

Omar came out of the door, and he asked Mr. Nasir, "You managed to throw that cursed piece of junk into the sea?"

Mr. Nasir replied, "I think that the evil spirit residing in the lamp has been lost at sea. Let's us hope that the spirit will never return."

Mr. Nasir began to hear some rattling and hisses and he told Omar, "Call pest control and the police. We have an intruding nuisance called a snake."

The rattlesnake slithered towards Mr. Nasir, and he tried to make himself look larger as he shouted, "If you don't leave this property in five minutes, you will be dealt with accordingly! Whoever brought you here has violated a policy of no snakes allowed on this property!"

The rattlesnake continued to hiss, and the snake noticed that the man's jeans were not covering his ankle and it used the opportunity to strike causing Mr. Nasir to scream in pain as he felt the venom entering his bloodstream and he collapsed on the ground of the doorstep of his apartment!

Jonathan Andreas looked at his target with happiness and he rubbed the lamp to summon Jafar and he stated, "I wish for you to cover my tracks."

"Your wish is my command," he replied. But Jafar wasn't going to let Jonathan get scot-free. He would only let it be temporary so that Jonathan would eventually be discovered, and he would pay for his crime.

Mahad opened the door to the apartment, and he screamed, "Omar! Hurry! Baba is going to die!"

Omar wasted no time and called the police and for an ambulance to come to the residence.

Mana came out of her bedroom. "What's happening?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Get back to bed, Mana!" Mahad ordered, not wanting her to see their father on the brink of death.

Mana complied unaware that her father would not return.

The paramedics rushed Mr. Nasir to the hospital of St. Raphael the Healer and tried everything they could to save the life of Jafar Mustafa Nasir, but they could not. He would pass away on December 10, 2006, at the age of thirty-seven.

(End of Flashback)

Tears began to fall from Mahad's eyes as the memories of his father's death finished replaying in his mind.

Zander walked over to Mahad, and he asked, "Are you okay?"

Mahad dried his eyes. "Not really, Zander. Being here, worrying about my sister, thinking about the past, it's a lot for me to bear."

Zander stated, "We're going to find her. I would recommend you get some rest so we can commence the search and rescue the next day."

Mahad knew he was right but was finding it hard to even try to sleep. It seemed every time he closed his eyes, visions of his father and sister and snakes tormented his mind.

Mahad awoke as he heard the paramedics siren's ringing in his head, and he looked around to see the heroes up and getting ready for the day.

She stated, "Before we commence Operation Finding Mana, we need to make sure not to draw attention to the royal guards."

Omar asked, "Why can't we report the situation to the Royal Guards?"

Danyal argued, "No. I don't think the guards will help at this point. Especially with what Mahad did."

Mahad replied still a little bit dazed, "He had it coming! He had only himself to blame!"

Natius pulled Mahad closer, and he whispered, "That tango is way ahead of this time."

Aladdin had no idea what they were talking about, but he knew that he had to go to the streets of Agrabah to get some food.

He announced, "Me and Abu are going to the marketplace."

"We'll go with you," Jeanette said. She didn't want Aladdin to get in trouble again for stealing and she also knew the guards probably wouldn't like it if they saw her and her friends with a wanted criminal. Plus, Jeanette also figured that she and the others needed to eat too.

Mahad stated, "Good luck, glass maid."

Jeanette shouted, "Mahado enough. You need to help."

"Let's just go with it as it progresses," Natius whispered. "With a little luck, we may find Mana."

Danyal commented, "This is not going to end well."

Once again, the group returned to the marketplace to get breakfast. While the heroes wished they could get food in more honest approaches, none of them had any money on hand. Instead, they kept watch for the guards so they wouldn't get caught. Abu distracted the vendors, allowing Aladdin to steal without being noticed.

Zander had to hide from the streets of Agrabah due to the fact that he was a jackal, and the village would see him as a threat.

Aladdin waved to the heroes to get their attention. They all looked up and saw him sitting on a roof. He invited them to join him, and he offered to share the food he stole.

Danyal smiled at the grapes, and she asked Mahad as she noticed that his eyes were bloodshot, "Did something happen to you?"

"Just couldn't sleep last night," he told her.

Bianca asked, "Did you have a nightmare?"

"Try nightmares," he stated. "My sister being kidnapped, my father's death, the snakes, it wouldn't stop."

Bianca decided to take out a small booklet it was one of two booklets provided by the three good fairies. The blue booklet was glowing in a neon-colored aura, and it had beautiful, stylized cloud with three rays, and she wrote down Mahad's name into the booklet and she stated, "This booklet is one of two booklets that came with the Pen of Dreams. This is the booklet of sweet dreams. The other booklet is reserved for anyone who threatens our lives when I write their name, their own nightmares will manifest. Just to give them a taste of their own poison. I was told to only use it if a person is threatening to kill any of you guys."

"Isn't that considered using the power of dreams for evil?" Jeanette asked. "I would think Aurora would want it to be used for good."

Bianca stated, "Good point. I never took out the booklet of nightmares because I fear that the Dark Masters will abuse its power."

"And knowing how powerful they are, they might have a way of protecting themselves," said Vandela.

Aladdin overheard their conversation and was about to ask about the Dark Masters until his attention was directed to a young woman in the streets. She was the most beautiful young woman he had ever seen.

Mahad looked at the young woman to see if his sister was with her or not and to his disappointment there was no one accompanying the young woman."

She stopped at a nearby stand to help a small boy get an apple but was stopped by the vendor and accused of stealing since she admitted not having any money. She was about to have her hand cut off until Aladdin stepped in to help her.

The vendor asked, "You know this girl?"

Aladdin lied, saying she was his sister. The heroes played along, saying she was very imaginative. She played along too to put on a convincing act, allowing everyone to get away before anyone would get suspicious and call for the guards.

As the heroes got to the poor parts of the street, Mahad asked the young woman who had long black hair and honest brown eyes wearing brown clothes suited for a maiden of the village, "Did you by any chance see a little girl?"

She thought about his question. "Well, I've seen plenty of children today. What does she look like?"

Mahad answered, "She has a similar skin tone as mine, dark brown hair and green eyes."

But the young woman didn't remember seeing anyone based on the description she was provided. "I don't think I've seen any girl like that."

Mahad sighed and looked away in disappointment.

Omar stated, "We're going to find her, Mahad."

The young woman was having problems of her own. She told Aladdin and the heroes that she ran away because she was being forced into getting married. Before any of them could sympathize with her, all of a sudden, the palace guards came to seize Aladdin!

Danyal asked, "Any ideas?!"

Aladdin looked down. "Do you trust me?" he asked everyone.

"What?" the young woman asked in disbelief.

"Do you trust me?" Aladdin asked again, holding his hand out to her.

She finally took his hand and answered nervously, "Yes."

"Then jump!" Aladdin shouted, and they jumped from the balcony and landed in a pile of sand in an alley.

Natius got up and slid down the sand and he asked, "Where do we go now?"

Aladdin got back on his feet, but as he tried to make a run for it, his path was blocked by Razoul, the captain of the guard. "We just keep running into each other, don't we, street rat?" the captain sneered.

Abu began attacking him, giving Aladdin and the others a chance to escape.

"Go! Get out of here!" Aladdin shouted to the heroes as he saw more guards.

Natius and the others were grabbed by the guards!

Zander had to think of something to save his friends and he noticed a walking cane with a handle that resembled an alligator's head.

He began to hear a gentle voice that sounded like his late great grandfather saying, "Go ahead now. It's all right. Take this cane."

The jackal touched the cane with his paw and changed back into a human!

Zander tapped the ground causing the shadows around the guards to tie into creatures that grabbed the guards causing some of them to scream!

"What's happening?" Bianca cried.

"I don't know," Natius answered.

The shadows dropped the guards that started to run away, and Zander came out of the shadows, and he stated, "I think I found a weapon."

Bianca asked, "A cane? Come on! Why a cane?!"

The captain was the only one who remained. He grabbed Aladdin and declared, it's the dungeon for you, boy!"

The young woman had enough. "Unhand him," she ordered, removing her hood and revealing her features, "by order of the princess!"

Everyone gasped in shock, seeing that this was Princess Jasmine.

Razoul asked, "What are you doing here, Princess?"

"That's not your concern," she snapped. "Do as I command, release him and let the others go!"

The captain chuckled. "I would, Princess, except my orders come from Jafar. You'll have to take it up with him."

Jasmine glared and said coldly, "Believe me, I will." So, she decided to return to the palace to negotiate Aladdin and the heroes' release, but she also decided she wasn't going to be so benevolent.

Jasmine walked down in a firing rage, "Jafar!"

The vizier had finished exiting his lair. As he saw Jasmine coming, he asked, "Princess, how may I be of service to you?"

"The guards just took a group of children from the market," she snapped, "on your orders!"

Jafar cleared his throat. "Your father has charged me with keeping peace in Agrabah. The children were criminals."

"What were their crimes?" Jasmine demanded to know.

"One of the boys was seen assaulting Prince Achmed the other day as he was on his way here," Jafar answered. Jasmine tried to keep herself from smiling at that. Although assaulting royalty is grounds for a death penalty, she thought that Achmed probably deserved it. "As for the eldest boy," continued Jafar, "he was arrested for kidnapping the princess."

Jasmine was outraged. "He didn't kidnap me, I ran away!"

"Oh, dear," Jafar was saying in mock shock. "How frightfully upsetting. Had I but known."

"What do you mean?"

"Sadly, the boy and his group of friends, well, their sentence has already been carried out."

"What sentence?"

"Death," Jafar said in a low voice, causing Jasmine to gasp, "by beheading." He moved behind her and touched her shoulders. "I am exceedingly sorry, Princess," he said, feigning sorrow.

"How could you?" And Jasmine ran out of the room, crying.

Bianca asked Omar, "Did you make sure to lock the doors of the van? I hate the thought of someone pulling a Grand Theft Auto on you."

Omar answered, "Not only it shrunk like a small toy, but the doors will also automatically unlock when brought out of my pocket."

Mahad asked aloud, "Mana! Are you in here?!"

"Don't waste your breath," Anakin told him. "If I know the Dark Masters, I doubt they'd keep your sister in this dungeon."

Aladdin finally stopped struggling with his shackles. "You know, that's the second time today you've said, 'Dark Masters.'"

"Haven't you heard of them?" Bianca asked.

He had heard people in the streets talk about the Dark Masters but hadn't given too much thought about them. Besides, right now, Aladdin was thinking about Jasmine.

Everyone's attention was directed to the sound of Abu's voice. The monkey made his way into the dungeon and began working to unlock everyone's shackles.

Omar commented to Abu, "Thanks for your help."

Natius rubbed his wrists. "We need to figure a way out of here. I don't plan on staying to wait for an execution."

Mahad noticed a small passage and he cried, "I think we have found a way out of this hellhole."

An old voice cried, "Wait! Please!"

Natius asked Mahad, "Is it Mr. Virgil?"

Mahad answered, "No."

Everyone turned their attention to an old beggar coming out of the shadows. Mahad growled, knowing that it was Jafar in disguise. But he couldn't reveal that to his friends.

"Who are you?" Aladdin asked.

"A lowly prisoner like you and your friends," he answered. "But together, perhaps we can be more."

Interested, Aladdin said, "I'm listening."

"There is a cave, everyone, a Cave of Wonders filled with treasures beyond your wildest dreams," Jafar said, showing them several rubies in his hand. Aladdin and Abu looked in astonishment.

"Why would you share this wonderful treasure with us?" Natius asked, suspicious of his offer.

"I need a young pair of legs and a strong back to go in after it," Jafar said, approaching the secret exit. "So do we have a deal?"

Mahad didn't trust Jafar, but he knew this was his only chance to go to the Cave of Wonders, so he was willing to go with it this once.

The heroes traveled into the desert with the old man!

The tiger head awoke, and he asked, "Who disturbed my slumber?"

Aladdin announced himself to the tiger's head. "It is I, Aladdin."

Like a gatekeeper, the tiger's head granted Aladdin access. "Proceed. Touch nothing but the lamp." And the head opened its mouth, revealing the entrance.

"Remember, first fetch me the lamp and then you shall have your reward," Jafar said.

"Come on, guys," Aladdin said, and they all began walking into the Cave of Wonders.

Mahad commented at the treasury, "This amount of wealth can help the US government back on its feet."

Danyal pointed out, "It's the Forbidden Treasure of the Cave of Wonders and it has a fiery defense mechanism that would get us all killed if you so much as touch anything in this cave. Got it?!"

"And you heard the gatekeeper," Jeanette reminded him. "We can't touch anything."

"But there's a weapon for me hidden here," Mahad reminded her.

"Maybe it's at the end of the path where the lamp is," Natius wondered.

Aladdin called for everyone's attention. "Hey, guys, we might want to stick together."

Everyone agreed and began walking, trying to be careful not to touch the treasure.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, a magic carpet started to fly towards the heroes.

Mahad noticed a grey stylized lamp on the back of Aladdin's vest.

He asked Aladdin, "Why is there a grey stylized lamp crest on your vest?"

He turned around to look at it, but as he did, his attention was directed to the magic carpet that was following the group. "A magic carpet," he said in astonishment.

Everyone else looked in his direction and saw the carpet in amazement.

Natius stepped towards it. "Hey, Carpet, you think you can help us out? We're looking for a lamp and a scimitar."

The carpet flew around in excitement and began leading the way.

As they followed the carpet, Aladdin remembered Mahad's question. "It's the symbol for reliability. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure how I got it."

Danyal commented, "I have a speculation that it is element's power laying in dormant until the right moment."

"What does that mean?" Bianca asked.

"It means he has yet to awaken as the warrior of the element," Oliver explained.

Natius asked, "Elements?"

Oliver answered, "Each element represents a virtue each Disney hero is known for."

Omar stated, "Name us one example."

Oliver looked at Bianca. "I would expect you to have already figured out that Aurora's element was dreams once you obtained your tools."

"Easy, Oliver," Figaro said gently. He looks at the heroes and explains, "An element would be something like courage, kindness, honesty, sincerity."

"Oh, I see," Jeanette said in understanding.

Mahad asked Oliver, "What was your element?"

Oliver showed the heroes a mark on the back of his left paw. "Gratitude," he answered.

Danyal asked, "Did it give you any abilities?"

Mahad noticed the crest of gratitude looked like a stylized tiger's claw.

"I was granted the ability to talk like a human so Jenny could understand me," he answered.

"But why gratitude?" Bianca asked.

"Because I was grateful to Dodger and the others for making me part of their gang. And I was grateful to Jenny when she took me in and gave me a home with her."

Mahad asked Oliver, "What happened to your world?"

Oliver looked away. "I don't know. The last thing I remember was being home with Jenny. The next day, I found myself in Yen Sid's chamber."

Mahad commented, "I think that he wanted to prevent you from being imprisoned in darkness."

Oliver was still sad because he didn't know what had become of his home or his friends.

The group made it to the end of the cave. Carpet pointed his tassels to a rock-like tower, indicating that the lamp was sitting at the top.

"You guys wait here while I get the lamp," Aladdin said and began crossing the rocks. Mahad followed, wondering if the scimitar was there too.

Mahad climbed up the tower in see a scimitar that bore the symbol of Reliability.

Aladdin made it to the top as well, taking the magic lamp. "This is it?" he asked himself. "This is what we came all the way down here to-?"

He stopped himself as he saw the others trying to stop Abu from touching the large ruby held by the monkey statue nearby. "Abu, no!" Aladdin shouted, but the monkey broke free and took the ruby.

"Infidels!" roared the Cave of Wonders. "You have touched the forbidden treasure! Now you will never again see the light of day!"

Danyal cried, "All Hell is breaking loose!"

Omar reached into his pocket. It was his van. He clicked his keys and it changed from pocket size to regular size. "Quick, everyone! Get in the van!"

"What about Mahad and Aladdin?" Jeanette asked. But Carpet was already heading to the rescue.

Mahad cried, "Let's move!"

They began their escape in a panic as lava and fire continued to fill the cave, trying to trap everyone.

Omar began to speed up trying to escape!

As they started getting close to the exit, the engines began to die. "No, not now!" And the van was forced to stop.

Carpet was close to the exit too, but a boulder fell on it, throwing Mahad and Aladdin off.

Mahad noticed the old man and he asked, "Do you know a man named Simeon Virgil?"

Jafar refused to answer and demanded the lamp.

"Help us out!" Aladdin pleaded.

"First the lamp," Jafar ordered. Aladdin reached back and took out the lamp.

"No, Aladdin!" Mahad begged, but Jafar already took the lamp.

He laughed triumphantly and cheered, "Yes, at last!" As he put the lamp away, he saw Mahad struggling to help Aladdin and pushed him aside.

"What are you doing?" Aladdin asked.

"Giving you your reward," Jafar answered, "your eternal reward," he said, holding a dagger.

Abu jumped on the man's arm and bit the man in the wrist as the wicked man screamed in pain!

This caused the man to lose his grip on Aladdin and the young man began falling back into the cave. Jafar threw Mahad back in as well!

Abu on the other hand was flung towards the van's windshield! Abu shrieked in pain from the impact of the windshield.

Danyal exclaimed, "Jesus! I didn't expect that!"

Omar commented, "Welcome to my world."

The van began to tilt back, and it fell back into the cave!

The Carpet freed itself and rescued Aladdin and Abu.

Bianca's booklet of Good Dreams began to unleash a light blue aura as Bianca lost consciousness. The blue aura manifested into a tigerlike figure that had fur as blue as the night sky and had piercing white eyes. The figure was dressed in white.

The figure grabbed Mahad and placed him in the van using his magical powers!

The heroes began to lose consciousness!

The tiger head of the Cave of Wonders collapsed trapping the heroes!

Jafar laughed in triumph, "It's all mine. Those brats have been taken care of."

He reached into his pocket to find his pocket was empty and he asked himself, "Where is it?"

Jafar realized the lamp was gone and he cried, "NOOOO!"

Author's notes: Looks like that the heroes are trapped in the Cave of Wonders. Will the heroes be able to find a way out? Find out in the next episode.

Jonathan Charles Andreas was named after Jonathan Freeman and Charles Adler. Both portrayed the villains, Jafar and Gazeem respectively from Aladdin. The surname is from a Disney character designer Andreas Deja. Nasir is Arabic for "Helper".
