Episode XIII (13):Aladdin's Reliability

Play Fukai Nite (Into the Sea of Corruption)

Danyal awoke as she opened her eyes, she saw a white doe.

The doe told her, "Your test of Faith will soon begin. Do not let the Dark Masters weigh into your heart."

She asked, "What do you mean by that?"

The voice answered, "You will find out."

Danyal felt herself sinking into darkness!

She tried to keep her eyes open, but to no avail.

Danyal heard a voice who yelled, "Danyal!"

The heroes were unconscious, but Yuki the hamster cried, "Natius! Wake up!"

Natius regained consciousness at the sound of his hamster's chittering. He looked around and saw that he and his friends were trapped inside the Cave of Wonders.

Danyal asked looking for her dog, "Wizard?"

Her dog jumped on her chest and began licking her face.

Abu was trying to wake Aladdin. He finally came to his senses and groaned. "Oh, my head." He also saw that the cave had been sealed. "We're trapped. That two-faced son of a jackal!"

"He was more of a snake than a jackal," said Natius.

Aladdin sighed. "Well, whoever he was, he's long gone with that lamp."

Abu presented the lamp!

Aladdin chuckled. "Why you hairy little thief." He took the lamp and inspected it. "Looks like such a beat-up worthless piece of junk. Hey, I think there's something written here, but it's hard to make out."

As he rubbed the lamp, it began moving around and releasing sparks, unleashing the Genie.

The Genie cried, "Ten thousand years can give you such a crick in the neck!"

As the Genie was celebrating his freedom for the first time in a long time, Aladdin noticed that a jackal named Zander was gone, but he noticed a boy that sounded just like that jackal that accompanied his new friends.

Aladdin noticed Zander and he asked, "Are you that jackal that followed Mahad?"

Zander knew there was no point denying it as he presented his alligator headed cane. "Yes. I was turned into a jackal until I was able to acquire this cane."

Bianca asked Zander, "What kind of powers does that cane have?"

Zander looked at the cane. "You saw me use it on the guards. It turned their shadows into creatures and attacked them."

"So, it controls people's shadows," Bianca asked.

Danyal commented, "Jafar should start thinking twice about messing with us."

For some reason, Mahad was unsure of that. Right now, at this time, Jafar was just a petty sorcerer. But he was also still a Dark Master. This caused Mahad to fear that Zander's cane might not have a lot of effect on him."

Danyal answered, "While we did retrieve the sword, the van ran out of fuel and to be honest, I can't remember what happened to me. Did I black out?"

"I think we all did," said Zander. "But I guess we're lucky to be alive."

Danyal began to remember a dream she had after blacking out!

She asked the Genie, "What did the voice mean that my trial of Faith will begin?"

The Genie thought, then answered, "You must be put to a test; one that will deem you worthy of that element. And if you are, you will awaken as its warrior."

Mahad asked Genie, "Is there a way out of this cave?"

Bianca scolded, "Mahado!"

The Genie looked at him expectantly. "Is that an official wish from any one of you?"

Zander stated, "From me. It's time that I show those criminals what it really means to be haunted by the shadows of their past."

Omar spoke up. "And I wish for my van to be refueled and the engines to be repaired."

Mahad asked Genie, "Can you help me find my younger sister? I have yet to find her in this world."

Genie replied, "Hold that thought. I have to do a couple of things for your older brother."

Genie used his magic to restore the van to its former glory with the engines being repaired!

"All right," Omar cheered. "Now let's get out of here."

Mahad cried, "Shotgun!"

Once everyone entered the van, Omar started a mechanism that would allow them to tunnel their way out of the cave.

Danyal took out her phone and she began to play some music that she added to her phone.

After a few hours of digging, the van came to the surface. Everyone stepped outside and found themselves in an oasis.

Mahad commented about Danyal's choice of music, "You have one weird taste of music. I'm surprised that you have some elevator music."

Aladdin started thinking about what to wish for. He wanted to be wise and careful about it. "What would you wish for?" he asked the Genie.

Genie had never thought about that for years and he answered, "Freedom."

Zander asked, "You're a slave?"

Bianca pointed out, "I think you meant prisoner."

"Same difference," said Zander.

"No, it isn't," Mahad argued.

Danyal commented, "In a sense he is not only a slave to the person who possesses the lamp, but he doubles as a slave and prisoner of the lamp."

Genie stated, "That's a good point. Part of the parcel of the whole genie gig. Phenomenal cosmic powers and an itty-bitty living space."

Genie added, "And once the three wishes are spent, I have to return to the lamp until someone picks it up."

Bianca was upset to hear that, and she began to think about the wishes that she would make. She did not want her wishes to be selfish, rather she wanted to use the wishes to help her friends return home.

She asked the Genie, "Do you know anything about the elements? If so, how are we to awaken them?"

"It's not that easy," the Genie was saying. "In order for a warrior to discover his element, he must find out what it is that separates him from others and embrace it as his personal strength."

Aladdin looked at the image on his vest. "So, you're saying I have to prove myself a reliable person?"

Genie answered, "Yes."

Bianca asked, "Do you know anything about the Walt Maidens? Why were they called that?"

Genie answered, "Those three are considered a classic trio as they were the only Princesses that established their legacies during the time Walt was alive"

He looked at Mahad. "Now, you say you need help finding your sister?"

"Yes." answered Mahad. "I have been hearing that she was being held there."

"Do you mean in the palace?" Aladdin wondered.

Mahad cried, "We can try there."

"They're not going to let you in after your little spat with Prince Achmed," Omar reminded him.

"So, we'll need disguises," said Mahad.

Bianca asked, "What kind of disguises should we have?"

Aladdin liked the idea because it meant having a chance of seeing Princess Jasmine again. He also remembered the law that she could only marry a prince. He asked the Genie, "Can you make me a prince?"

The Genie began looking through a book for royal recipes. "Here we are, to make a prince." He asked Aladdin, "Now is that an official wish? Say the magic words."

"Genie, I wish for you to make me a prince!"

"All right!" the Genie cheered. To start, he changed Aladdin's outfit into clothes suitable for a prince.

Mahad asked, "What about our disguises?"

"What would you like to be disguised as?" the Genie asked.

"We could be Aladdin's royal subjects," Zander suggested.

Bianca commented, "Brilliant."

So, the Genie began working on royal outfits for the heroes. Yuki even got a fancy jeweled carrier and Wizard was given a gold collar patterned with emeralds and rubies.

Mahad smiled, "It's time that we pay the Sultan a visit."

Bianca asked Genie, "Is it possible for two elements to awaken?"

"Yes, but not at the same time," the Genie answered. "Certain tests of character come at their own times."

Danyal commented, "Hate to cut the chit chat, but we have a palace to visit!"

So, the group left the oasis and began marching through the streets of Agrabah, hosting a parade for Prince Ali. After the performance was over, they were all welcomed inside the palace. Natius was feeling a little nervous and was hoping he and his friends wouldn't be recognized.

Mahad was also nervous that he would not find his sister in this palace.

He thought about asking the sultan about his sister, but quickly realized that it was too dangerous right now since Jafar was close by.

Bianca asked Mahad, "What's bothering you, ferret?"

"Shh," Mahad hissed. "Be careful what you say or do, or our cover will be blown."

Natius added, "There's a dangerous man in the palace."

The sultan was delighted to meet Prince Ali, but Jafar thought there was something suspicious about the young man and the children accompanying him.

Mahad asked, "What are you staring at, old coot?"

Jafar ignored him and kept his attention on Aladdin. He approached him and asked, "Where did you say you were from?"

"Oh, um, much farther than you've traveled, I'm sure," Aladdin said, trying to think of an answer.

"Try me," the vizier challenged.

Mahad lied, "A hidden part of Egypt. Ali was from that area."

"Yes, thank you, my boy," Aladdin said, patting his shoulder.

Jafar had heard of Egypt, and he asked, "Who's the sultan?"

Mahad answered, "Salahuddin Ayyubi. Sultan of Egypt, Syria, Yemen, and Palestine. He is a formidable ally with Ali and he hired Ali once to capture a war criminal so he would behead that criminal."

"Is that so?" Jafar asked.

The sultan was intrigued to hear that and wondered if perhaps having an ally in Prince Ali would also mean an alliance with the sultan of Egypt.

Danyal warned Jafar, "Don't get any ideas, Cobra. If you use that snake to pull off anything, you will be facing the consequences of tampering with forces beyond your control."

Mahad placed his hand over her mouth. "Be quiet or you'll give us away."

Danyal nodded and he released her.

Mahad lied, "She's a little bit too focused."

The sultan continued to admire Aladdin. "Jasmine will like this one."

"And I'm pretty sure I'll like Princess Jasmine," Aladdin smirked.

To the heroes' surprise, Jasmine was overhearing this.

She scolded, "How dare you! All of you standing around and deciding my future?! I'm not just some prize to be won!"

With that, she stormed out of the throne room.

The sultan was sorry his guests had to see that. "Don't worry, Prince Ali," he was saying, "Just give Jasmine time to cool down," and his voice started to fade as he was leading them to their guest rooms.

"I think it's time to say goodbye," Jafar growled to himself as he watched them walk off.

Danyal commented to the Sultan, "Be careful about how much trust you give to that man."

"Not to worry, my dear," the sultan assured her. "Jafar may have his flaws, but he has his good points."

Natius stifled a small laugh.

"Here we are. This is where you, young ones will be staying. I hope you'll be comfortable." And the sultan dismissed himself.

When he left, Mahad declared, "Okay, now that that's taken care of, it's time to find Mana."

"Mahad, we can't just walk around the palace like we own the place," Jeanette warned him. "Remember when we got in trouble when we went to the west wing?"

Mahad did remember. He didn't want to get in trouble again; especially since Jafar was around.

Bianca asked, "Where can we find her though?"

Natius had an idea. "At this time, Jafar's going to be more focused on trying to get rid of Aladdin. We can use that time to talk to the sultan."

Mahad stated, "That's what I was thinking."

"What about Aladdin?" Zander asked. "Shouldn't we warn him about Jafar before the guards attack him?"

"No," Mahad answered. "He and Jasmine need their time picking up where they left off."

Bianca commented, "He's got a good point. We need to ask the sultan now."

So the heroes left the guest room and headed to the throne room. Natius didn't want to take his chances, so he picked up Yuki's carrier and took his hamster with him.

Bianca asked, "Are you kidding me?"

Natius answered, "The palace houses a tiger. Tigers are the largest cat in the felidae family. Yuki is a rodent, and cats eat rodents. Plus, despite being raised in the palace, there is a good chance that he would maul those who threaten Agrabah."

Mahad stated, "That's a good point."

Bianca thought of something. "Why didn't we ask the Genie for help?"

"Because Aladdin has the lamp and given the circumstances of what's coming to him, he needs it more than we do right now," Mahad pointed out.

Danyal commented, "Smart move, Mahad."

The sultan asked, "What brings you here?"

Mahad decided to get to the point. "Your highness, I need to know, is there a young girl here in the palace?"

The Sultan answered, "There's a little girl reading a book on spells. I'm very concerned."

Mahad asked, "Why would Mana be reading a book on spells?"

Danyal speculated, "It's possible that she might have viewed Aladdin multiple times and I think she is trying to set up a defense mechanism for the lamp."

There was only one way to find out. The heroes headed to the palace library, hoping to find Mana.

Mahad saw a young girl who had the skin tone as his, with dark brown hair and green eyes that were focusing on the page as if looking for something that could help with the situation she was in. She was dressed in lighter blue clothing that looked similar to Jasmine's.

Mahad asked the girl, "Mana, is that you?"

The girl turned to see Mahad, and she asked looking at the young man questioning her, "Mahad?"

His eyes began to fill with tears. "It is you! Mana!"

The two siblings ran to each other and began embracing each other, crying tears of joy.

Mahad asked, "How did you escape?"

Mana answered, "Jasmine found me in a dungeon and she helped me by allowing a guest room to keep me hidden from Jafar. She doesn't trust him at all and when I told her of my situation, she was livid with Jafar and she warned him that if I was taken by the guards on his order, Rajah would maul him.

Bianca smiled, "Now we just need to find the history teacher, Mr. Virgil."

Danyal pointed out, "There's one massive problem. We don't know where to start."

"We'll just have to confront Jafar," said Bianca.

"No," Natius told her. "That'll blow our cover."

Mahad stated, "He's right. That would give us away to the enemy."

"We're going to be discovered sooner or later," Jeanette pointed out. "Once Aladdin comes back-,"

Mahad quickly placed his hand over her mouth. "Guys, we can't say Aladdin's name or talk about the lamp while we're here," he hissed. "What if Jafar is listening right now?"

Danyal commented in an almost silent tone, "Good point. We need to find a different place where Jafar is not looking to plan out our strategy."

Mana had an idea. "I'm sure Jasmine would let us into her room for the moment. Rajah never lets that snake anywhere near her."

"But she's out of the palace right now," Jeanette pointed out.

Danyal asked, "Why not ask the tiger to protect us?"

"Because he'll probably be more focused on Yuki," Natius said, holding the carrier. "Besides, he only obeys Jasmine."

Omar asked, "What do we to do at this point?"

"We have to take a chance," said Anakin. "With a little luck, Jasmine might be on her way back from the magic carpet ride with Ali."

"When she comes back, that's when Jafar's going to send the guards to get rid of Al," Zander added.

"The Genie will take care of him," Bianca said softly. "Let's just hurry to Jasmine's room."

The heroes entered Jasmine's room to find her humming a song and she noticed the heroes walking towards her room and she asked, "What are you kids doing here in this time of night?"

Natius explained trying to conceal his hamster from being spotted by Rajah, "We're just here to ask for some protection."

Jasmine asked, "Protection from what?"

Before the heroes could explain their situation, the sultan came to the entrance of the room, calling his daughter's name.

Natius commented, "I have a feeling there's something wrong with the sultan."

Danyal noticed that the Sultan was not all there as he announced that Jasmine was to wed Jafar.

Danyal looked at the older man and Jasmine cried, "Father, I choose Prince Ali!"

Jafar commented on the matter, "Prince Ali left."

Danyal having seen Jafar's film multiple times was about to yell out, "Liar!" but she replied asking, "Are you sure you're not lying to the Sultan?! If you were in Saladin's court, you would be facing a more gruesome fate. Beheaded and placed on a pike to rot. "

That was when Aladdin appeared, much to Jasmine's delight and Jafar's horror. "Tell them the truth, Jafar," Aladdin demanded. "You tried to have me killed!"

Jafar cried, "He's obviously lying!"

Mahad began to have memories of his father's death as he noticed the snake staff, he grabbed the snake staff and he smashed it three times yelling, "Die! Die! Die!"

He removed the rubies from the mess and placed them in his pocket!

The sultan started coming back to his senses.

Aladdin took the staff from Mahad and showed it to the sultan. "Your highness, Jafar's been controlling you with this."

"What? Jafar?" he asked in disbelief. "You low traitor!"

Jafar backed away as everyone began to corner him. "Your majesty, all this can be explained."

"Guards!" the Sultan called. And the palace guards came to arrest the vizier.

Jafar took out a small vial. "This is not done yet, boy!" And he smashed the vial to the ground, allowing him to escape.

"Find him!" the Sultan ordered. "Search everywhere!"

Mahad commented, "I would take that snake to Salahuddin Ayyubi."

"Jasmine, are you all right?" Aladdin asked with concern.

"Yes," she answered.

He looked to the others and asked, "What about you guys?"

"We're fine," Natius told him.

Aladdin took notice of Mana and asked Mahad, "Mahad, is this your sister?" Seeing him nod, he says, "I'm glad you found her."

Mahad stated, "We just need to find a way to prevent Jafar from pulling any tricks up his sleeve. As for the eyes of that staff I plan to sell them for a huge price."

Danyal replied, "We need to find Mr. Virgil."

Mahad asked the Sultan, "Did you see a man in your palace?"

Sultan answered, "Any man who sets foot here would have to face Rajah. I haven't seen any as I know of."

This meant that Mr. Virgil wasn't here in the palace. But then where was he?

The sultan pointed out, "There is one item that would answer your question. The Staff of the Oracle. It's in the treasury of my palace."

The heroes went to the royal treasury. The Staff of the Oracle was a golden staff with a large emerald jewel on top.

Natius reached for the Staff, but Mahad smacked his hand. Natius winced and asked, "Have you lost your mind?"

"I don't think it's a good idea to consult with the Oracle," he said.

"Why not?" Bianca asked.

"Jafar is still hiding in the shadows," Mahad reminded him. "We're not safe from him yet."

Danyal stated, "Good point."

Natius asked, "What are we supposed to do? Put up wanted posters for that snake?!"

Mahad had an idea. "We can use the Staff when this is over. For now, let's leave it here and go back to our room and try to rest. We have a big day tomorrow."

Danyal stated, "Good idea."

So, the heroes left the royal treasury and returned to the guest room to try to sleep.

As Danyal tried to sleep something in her mind was nagging at her to stay awake.

She began to hear a voice that told her, "Your trial of Faith will be waiting for you."

Danyal tried to ignore it in hopes to get some rest.

The following day, the heroes met up with Aladdin. He felt a little overwhelmed because apparently, he didn't realize marrying Princess Jasmine meant he would become sultan of Agrabah. He found it to be more than he could take in.

Aladdin stated to the Genie, "I can't set you free."

Genie looked at Aladdin with disappointment and he stated, "After all, you lied to everyone else, and I was beginning to feel left out."

The Genie retreated to his lamp in disappointment

Omar asked Mahad, "Why did you place those ruby eyes of the Snake Staff in your pocket?"

Mahad commented, "I figure that they would fetch a good amount of money."

"You idiot," Bianca scolded him. "Once Jafar gets a new staff, I bet those jewels will be put back in place."

Danyal stated, "She's right, I would suggest you destroy them."

Anakin nodded in agreement, then looked at Aladdin expectantly. "So, when are you going to free the Genie like you promised?"

He inhaled and said, "I can't."

Natius asked, "Why not?"

"Because they want me to be sultan," Aladdin answered. "No, they want Prince Ali to be sultan."

"So, which one are you?" Zander asked.

"That's the problem. I can't do this on my own. They'll find out I'm not a real prince. When they do, I'll lose Jasmine."

Mahad stated, "I hate to say this, but you have to tell her the truth. It's the right thing to do."

Aladdin sighed, knowing his friends were right. He got up and left the room to go look for Jasmine.

Mahad asked, "Should we follow him?"

Zander commented, "You have a couple of rubies to destroy, Nasir!"

Mahad took out the rubies and placed them on a desk and he asked the other heroes, "Any ideas how to get rid of those ruby eyes?"

"We don't have any tools," said Jeanette. "I doubt our weapons will be able to destroy them either."

Mahad asked, "What about if I throw them in a fire?"

While the heroes were discussing what to do about the rubies, Iago was sneaking around the room, looking for the lamp. He found it and flew off carrying it in his talons.

Mahad asked, "Who was guarding the lamp?"

"Aladdin was the last person who had it," Jeanette answered.

"Oh, no," Mahad groaned, pressing his palm against his face.

"We're in trouble, aren't we?" Mana asked.

Trouble wasn't even the right word to describe the situation. The heroes left the room and hurried to find Aladdin.

The heroes ran to see Aladdin being pulled up to see the menagerie of people who came to hear what the sultan was declaring, cheering for him!

Mahad started climbing up the stairs to stop him, but Jasmine blocked his path. "Mahad, what is it?"

Before he could answer, a dark cloud began covering the city and it started to get cold. "Oh, no."

Danyal asked, "What the hell?!"

At that moment, Jafar appeared, laughing and dressed in clothes for a sultan. Aladdin reached into his turban, only to realize the lamp wasn't there.

Jafar smiled, "Finders keepers! Abububu."

Mahad snapped, "It's Ababwa, Cobra Commander!"

Danyal stated to Jafar, "For a sultan, you use terrorism and abused your power to gain more. I wouldn't be surprised if you would wreak chaos during the crusades."

Jafar turned to the heroes, and he cried, "Behold your ally. Now under my command."

The heroes looked in despair for the Genie and Danyal snarled as she drew an arrow preparing to fire the arrow, "Hey Cobra! Put the lamp down or you'll be begging for Saladin to behead you."

Omar scowled. "To think, he should've pronounced the name correctly."

"He did that to spite us." Mahad commented.

Bianca cried Omar, "Get the van out!"

Omar got the van out of his pocket and clicked the keys to turn it to its regular size.

Danyal fired an arrow as it was surrounded in white light and it blinded Jafar temporarily and Danyal got into the van!

Aladdin was riding on Carpet. "Genie, no!"

"Sorry, kid. I got a new master now." And the Genie placed the palace on the mountain.

Mahad asked looking through the window, "What are we going to do?!"

"We have to get the lamp back somehow," said Zander.

Danyal commented, "I was able to toss the rubies into a fire pit just to ensure that they would melt before they would reunite with the cobra of the staff. Let's hope that they melted quickly."

Looking out the window, Mahad saw Jafar becoming a powerful sorcerer. Much to his horror, the staff was completely made new. The cobra's mouth was open and the eyes were back in place.

Danyal asked, "How did they not melt into ashes?"

"Jewels don't exactly melt at a fast pace, especially magical ones." said Natius.

Danyal asked, "What do we do?"

"You surrender to me," Jafar told the heroes. He used his magic to force the heroes out of the van and turn it into a toy car. "You see, children, I am the most powerful of the Dark Masters." He smiled and bragged, "And quite obviously the best."

"If you're the best, then why aren't you the leader?" Natius taunted. "I'll tell you, you're nothing but a second-rate villain and that's all you'll ever be?"

Danyal added, "Not to mention a second-rate Cobra Commander with a God complex and a cruel sense of humor that would give Joker a run for his money."

Jafar growled. "Well, you and your prince aren't who you say you are." And he uses his magic to turn Aladdin and the heroes back into their original forms.

Jasmine was shocked to see the heroes in their true form!

NausicaƤ snarled, "You are not going to outrank Maleficent, Jafar."

Rajah roared at Jafar, and he leapt to pounce on the man intending to behead Jafar with a single swipe of his paws!

With his magic, Jafar turned Rajah into a harmless tiger cub.

Bianca cried, "Go to Hell, Snake demon!"

Mahad yelled at Bianca, "Don't antagonize him!"

Jafar refocused his attention on Aladdin, turning him back into a peasant and shocking Jasmine.

Jasmine asked, "Ali?"

Aladdin took her hands in hers. "Jasmine, I tried to tell you, I'm just-" but he was stopped as Jafar continued using his magic.

Mahad noticed that Aladdin was being banished to the ends of the earth!

He wanted to help Aladdin but was being held back by Omar.

The tower went flying towards the sky in red smoke and the Carpet snuck into the tower!

"So long, Ex-Prince Ali!" Jafar said and cackled.

"And this is why he's a Dark Master," Natius muttered to himself.

Danyal commented, "He would be like Piedmon."

Now that Aladdin was gone, Jafar decided it was time to deal with Natius and the others.

Natius asked, "What are we going to do? I don't want to be turned into a hamster!"

"Oh, quit your whining mouse boy," said Zander. "I'll take care of him." And he raised his cane.

Zander tapped the ground with the staff causing ropes made of shadows began to bind Jafar and he warned, "If you don't stop with your acts of terrorism, you will be dragged into a realm of eternal darkness! Put the lamp down and the binds will release."

"No," Jafar told him. "Your magic pales in comparison to my power, boy. Do not forget, I am the most powerful of the Dark Masters."

"If that was true, you would be first in command instead of Maleficent," Natius said again.

Mahad commented, "Put the lamp down! Now or I will be doing the job that Rajah was going to do!"

He pulled out the scimitar and he began walking towards Jafar and he was ready to behead the man for ruining the lives of so many others!

Mahad asked, "Any final words, Jafar?"

Apparently, Jafar had other ways of using his magic instead of with his staff. "Watch out for the snake."

"What snake?" Mahad asked, scared.

Jafar pushed him back and began to break free from his bindings. "It's time to turn the tables."

Mahad asked, "What are you going to do to us?"

"I'm going to finish what Maleficent started and get rid of you and your friends once and for all," he answered.

Omar cried, "We didn't do anything wrong! We're just trying to find our way home!"

"That doesn't matter," said Jafar. "The magpie and I have s score to settle."

Danyal snarled as she drew an arrow preparing to fire it, "Put the lamp down or you'll be feeling a crushing sensation as if a doe is trampling on you!"

"You have no power over me in this world or any other," he told her.

Danyal stated, "Maybe not, but the power of Christ will compel you!"

Jafar retorted, "Those arrows can't get to me!"

Danyal replied, "Doesn't mean you're immortal, Cobra!"

"Aladdin will be back," Jeanette warned him. "When he returns, he's going to bring you to justice."

Omar cried, "Don't fire! That arrow will deflect."

Danyal lowered her weapon and she stated to Jafar, "You are a disgrace to the title of sultan. Saladin would see you for the snake that you are, and he would have you face a more brutal fate."

Zander snarled, "Jafar, if you mesmerize Danyal, you will be facing a fate similar to the Shadow Man! I'm not kidding! You will be an example for the other Dark Masters."

Jafar chuckled. "Fools. Do you realize when you defeated Maleficent, I became the new leader? That means I can do whatever I want, and no one can tell me otherwise."

"I bet if Maleficent were alive, she'd have your position revoked for that attitude," Natius tormented.

Jafar asked Natius rhetorically, "Would you like me to turn you into a hamster?"

Natius dreaded at the thought. He already said he didn't want to go through that again.

Zander snarled, "If you mesmerize Danyal, you will be facing a more terrifying fate!"

Jafar smiled, "That cane is pale in comparison to my power."

Danyal asked, "What do you mean by score to settle?"

Danyal looked at Jafar and she asked, "What score did you want to settle, Cobra?"

"We're going to pick up where we left off at the dungeon before your friends interfered," he told her.

Danyal refused. "I already told you everything. What more do you want?"

Jafar retorted, "You never told me about how you have stumbled across the Warner Domain. Why would Glinda pick you of all people?"

Danyal refused to answer as she replied, "I'm afraid that's classified information, Cobra."

Jafar growled. "I guess we'll have to do this the hard way."

Danyal had a feeling she knew what was coming and hoped the Genie's magic would be able to protect her from the sorcerer.

The ruby eyes on Jafar's staff began to glow and he demanded, "You will tell me what I want to know."

Bianca begged, "Please! Leave her alone!"

Jafar glared at her and retorted to Bianca, "Maleficent told me about a booklet of nightmares. Is that true?"

Bianca replied, "I don't know what you're talking about, Cobra."

He chuckled and commented, "How ironic, that someone supposed to represent dreams would have a tool for producing nightmares."

"What are you going on about?" Bianca asked.

Jafar replied, "Don't play stupid, unless you want to want to turn back into a bunny rabbit again. Where is that booklet? I want to use it on you brats as your punishment for trespassing into the Disney Kingdom!"

Bianca replied, "It's been thrown into a fire to prevent any abuse of its dark power."

Jafar snarled, "What?!"

Bianca explained herself. "I thought about using its power on my enemies and anyone who would bully my friends. But I took into consideration how such a tactic can backfire and be used against me. I threw it in a fire, and it projected the evil spirits burning and I say good riddance to that worthless booklet that would cause betrayal."

Mahad added, "Now you will never be able to conjure up any nightmares to torture before killing your victims."

Jeanette asked "Why do you want to punish us? We're just trying to find our history teacher and a way home."

"We never did anything to you or your friends and flunkies," Zander added. "Why don't you just make it easy on all of us and yourself and let us go free?"

Jafar retorted, "You brats have been meddling in affairs that were not your concern."

"We never even asked to get involved in anything!" Bianca shouted.

Natius protested, "We were just trying to see if they could help us. Don't turn us into animals!"

Zander snarled, "If anything, you're just trying to take your anger out on us just because we were pulled into a chasm leading us to the Disney Kingdom."

Jafar turned to Zander, and he snarled, "Facilier is going to have a lot of explaining to do. What brings you here?"

Zander answered, "Let's just say that I'm a second line of defense for a rodent boy. Don't turn us into animals! We have endured that humiliating experience long enough already!"

Jafar turned his focus back to Danyal and he demanded as the ruby eyes of the Snake Staff started to glow a bright, but ominous scarlet, "You will tell me everything that I want to know."

Zander screamed, "Jafar! Leave her alone!"

Jafar lost his concentration as Wizard began biting on the man's leg. "I've had enough of you!" And he uses his magic to turn the dog into a stuffed animal.

Danyal yelled, "Wizard!"

She glared at Jafar snarled, "Change him back!"

Jafar snarled as the ruby eyes of his staff began to glow a bright ominous scarlet as he focused his staff on the the girl's brownish green eyes, "You will tell me everything I want to know."

"What do we do?" Jeanette asked.

Natius had an idea. One of them could try to get the lamp while everyone else would try to distract Jafar and keep him from mesmerizing Danyal.

That was when he saw Aladdin nearby. The young man placed his finger to his lips, signaling the others to be quiet. Natius nodded and began working on a way to divert Jafar's attention.

Natius smiled, "Yuki! It's time for you to be female Hamtaro"

Yuki chittered as if saying, "Let's finish this bullshit!"

Natius set the carrier down and released Yuki.

Jafar was becoming annoyed. "You and that rodent don't know when to quit, do you, boy?"

Natius replied, "Says the Cobra who hated being second."

"Yes, but I don't have to fret about that anymore now that Maleficent's gone and I'm the new leader."

Natius smiled mischievously. "You're absolutely certain she's gone for good? Because I think something's still holding you back."

"What do you mean?" Jafar asked.

"You can kill us, so what's stopping you?" Natius asked.

Jafar replied, "I want you brats to be psychologically shocked before I kill you brats for the trespassing you have done!"

Unbeknownst to Jafar, Aladdin was sneaking his way towards the lamp.

Natius teased Jafar, "What's wrong, Cobra? Can't accept the truth that you're just second best?!"

Bianca agreed. "Even with Maleficent gone, you're still just a second-rate villain and that's all you'll ever be."

Zander commented, "As well as a Cobra Commander with a God complex!"

Jafar had enough. He was ready to attack the heroes but stopped himself as he saw Aladdin's reflection. He turned around and saw him trying to take the lamp. "How many times do I have to kill you, boy?"

Natius smiled, "Perfect timing Al!"

Aladdin began fighting Jafar off as he grabbed the Cobra staff

"Get the lamp!" he cried to the heroes. Natius nodded and hurried to grab it.

Jafar cried, "You will learn not to mess with me rodent!"

He zapped Natius and turned him into a small hamster!

"Natius!" Bianca cried.

This time, Jeanette tried to get the lamp.

She grabbed the lamp and Jafar cried, "I don't think so, little mouse!"

He transformed her into a small mouse!

"Jeanette!" Zander cried. He raised his cane, but Jafar was ready.

"I'm afraid the same trick never works twice, frog prince!" And he turned Zander into a frog. "You should be honored to be a frog. Now you're really like your ancestors."

Zander snarked, "At least I'm not a snake like you! If I were a badger again, I would go Wolverine on your ass and rip you to pieces like a honey badger!"

Bianca grabbed and cried rubbing the lamp in a frantic manner, "I wish for you to save my friends!"

The Genie began transforming Natius, Zander, and Jeanette back into humans.

Jafar looked at Bianca, "It's time you pay bunny girl!"

He used his magic to turn Bianca into a rabbit, causing her to lose her grip on the lamp.

Bianca snarled, "That does it! Natius! Kill that cobra!"

Natius took out his dagger and he snarled at Jafar who kept dodging the dagger, "Stop dodging Cobra and fight like a man! Where's your sense of honor?"

Zander raised his cane, and he manipulated the shadows to get the lamp and he cried, "For my first wish, I wish for the elements that are present to awaken."

Aladdin began feeling a strange sensation. The mark that was on his vest began shining on his right hand. A strange mark was appearing on Jasmine's hand as well; the symbol for the element of honesty.

Jafar asked, "What?!"

Jasmine found herself holding a magical rope and the scimitar that Mahad was holding was now in Aladdin's hand. The two looked at each other and smiled with confidence, ready to take on their enemy and save their friends.

Jasmine used the rope to ensnare Jafar's neck and she snarled asking, "You have lied about what happened to those children and therefore you're going to be held accountable for that web of lies that you've been spinning over the past few months. What have they ever done to deserve your terrorism?"

Aladdin positioned the scimitar close to his head. "You're one of the Dark Masters, aren't you?"

Jafar answered, "That's correct. Since Maleficent died, I'm now their leader!"

Natius asked outraged with Jafar, "Where's Mr. Virgil?"

Jasmine pulled the rope, tightening her grip. "Don't bother lying. The power of this rope forces anyone who is bound to it to tell the truth. If you try to lie, it'll crush you like a snake crushing its prey."

Jafar knew he had no choice but to comply. "The man you seek is a prisoner in the Forbidden Castle."

Mahad asked remembering the unusual behavior of the history teacher and he asked, "Did you mesmerize Mr. Virgil for two weeks?"

Jafar answered, "That fool was more stubborn than that magpie if anything stubborn as a weasel."

Jasmine had another question. "Did you mesmerize that man just to lure these children to come here? If you did, then they are not trespassers, but were kidnapped."

Jafar answered, "Yes. I had him interview that rodent brat who called Prince Achmed a donkey."

"Natius?" Aladdin asked. "Hold on, this means he and his friends are innocent!"

Jafar answered, "Yes."

Natius was shocked to hear this and he asked, "Why did you do this to us?!"

"Why else?" Jafar spat. "To kill you children."

"But why?" Natius asked again. "We never did anything to you or your friends."

Jafar answered, "Three of you are descendants of the three Walt Maidens!"

"So?" Bianca asked. "What does that have to do with you?"

Jafar answered, "Maleficent wanted to ensure that you brats face punishment for trespassing!"

Natius yelled, "We never requested this crap to happen!"

Jafar added, "We tried to have you taken to our domain, but some old fool interfered!"

"We didn't trespass," Mahad protested. "We didn't come here willingly."

Natius asked, "Explain this Jafar, why did Mr. Virgil have burning red eyes?"

Jafar grinned and replied, "Let me put it this way: the man you call Mr. Virgil isn't exactly all there."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Zander asked.

"I mean as I say. Someone else is posing as the man."

Mahad knew what Jafar meant and he snarled, "Set him free!"

Jafar shook his head. "I can't, for I am not the one controlling him. Besides, I'm afraid the only way to break the control is to kill Mr. Virgil."

"Liar!" Natius shouted.

Bianca asked, "Who's controlling Mr. Virgil?!"

Jafar answered, "Judge Doom."

"Who is Judge Doom?" Aladdin demanded to know.

"One of our most trusted minions," Jafar answered. "Unlike his unwilling host Mr. Virgil. My comrade Frollo suggested that we should execute Mr. Virgil for his refusal to cooperate, but Maleficent said to let him live."

Natius asked, "Can I execute the cobra?"

Aladdin answered, "No."

"What?" Natius asked.

"We have to do things the right way," Aladdin declared. "Natius, you talked about having honor. That's what we must do."

Bianca asked Jafar, "How do we defeat Judge Doom?"

Bianca asked Jafar tempted to cut Jafar with her lie detecting shuriken, "How do we defeat Judge Doom and rescue our teacher?"

Jafar smiled wickedly. "The only way to free Mr. Virgil is to kill him."

Natius asked, "What can we do with this demon?!"

Bianca snarled, "There has to be another way around this!"

"The rope's not tightening," Jasmine noticed.

"He has to be lying!" Bianca protested. "There just has to be a way to save Mr. Virgil without him having to die!"

Jafar answered, "It's a sad truth."

Natius didn't want to believe it. In fact, he had enough of all this. "Jafar, it's time to finish you once and for all!"

Jafar asked, "What will you do?"

Natius wanted to kill the man himself, but Mahad stopped him. "Aladdin will be the one to decide your fate."

Jafar laughed in disbelief. "The street rat has no more power than I do!"

"Maybe so, but you have no more power than the Genie," Aladdin told him. "He gave you your power. He can just as easily take it away. That means Natius and the others are right, and you'll always be second."

Iago began to laugh at Jafar causing the man to be furious and he used his magic to turn Iago into a stuffed bird!

Jafar snarled, 'I will make sure no one will ever say these words again!"

Jafar used his snake staff to try to mesmerize Danyal, but to his surprise a barrier negated and absorbed the energy as a doe manifested in front of Jafar!

Danyal stated, "Your staff is now broken!"

The snake staff shattered into pieces leaving the ruby eyes as the doe began to use her powerful hooves to crush the staff!

Jafar furious with his magic staff being broken as he used his magic to grab the lamp and he cried, "For my final wish. I wish to become the most powerful being in the universe."

The words weren't that vague to the Genie, but he hoped the heroes knew what they were doing. So he granted Jafar's wish, turning him into a genie.

Jafar laughed, "Most powerful! At last! Second to no one! The universe is mine to command! To control!"

He faced the heroes and he cried, "First, I will wipe out the existence of the brats who trespassed!"

He summoned a ball of energy and just as he was about to fire, magical shackles formed around his wrists which prevented him from firing his attacks!

"What have you done to me?" he asked the heroes accusing them.

"We haven't done anything to you, Jafar," Aladdin told him.

Jafar tried to grab Danyal, but the shackles magically restrained him from grabbing any potential victims.

Jafar glared at Aladdin, and he screamed, "You tricked me!"

"A genie might have phenomenal cosmic powers, but also an itty-bitty living space," Mana added. "Because a genie has to go back in his lamp if he has no master."

Jafar saw his lamp materialize and cried, "No, not the lamp!"

He tried to grab Iago, but Mana grabbed the Genie's lamp and she cried, "I wish for Iago to reform!"

Jafar was pulled into the lamp unable to possess the parrot that he turned into a plush.

Genie took the black lamp, summoned a giant slingshot as he stretched out the rubber he cried, "Thousands of years in the Cave of Wonders should give you enough time to think about what you've done to Agrabah!"

He let go of the rubber firing the lamp into the Cave of Wonders!

Aladdin faced Jasmine and he apologized, "Jasmine, I'm sorry I lied to you about being a prince."

"I know why you did," she told him. She really did know. She knew he loved her and it was also because of the law. "This isn't fair," she protested. "I love you."

Genie smiled, "Al, you have one wish left."

"But, Genie, what about your freedom?"

The Genie chuckled. "Hey, it's only an eternity of servitude. This is love. Al, you're not going to find another girl like her in a million years. Believe me, I know; I've looked."

Aladdin held Jasmine's hands in his. "Jasmine, I do love you, but I've got to stop pretending to be something that I'm not."

"I understand," she replied.

Aladdin stated, "Genie, I wish for your freedom."

"Wait, what?" the Genie asked.

Aladdin held the lamp and declared, "Genie, you're free." The lamp glowed and the golden cuffs over the Genie's wrists disappeared.

The Genie couldn't believe it. "I'm free."

In addition, the mark on Aladdin's hand started glowing brighter. "What's this?"

Figaro knew what it meant. "You've fully awakened as a warrior of reliability. You kept your promise to use your last wish to set the Genie free."

Oliver nodded. "You did the right thing, Aladdin. And now that the Genie is free, no one can abuse his power." He looked at Jasmine and said, "And Princess Jasmine has proven herself a true warrior of honesty."

Jasmine smiled, "This is amazing."

Danyal stated, "Looks like the other Dark Masters are out of luck!"

Aladdin approached Mahad. "Here, Mahad. Here's your scimitar back. You're going to need it if you plan on taking on the other Dark Masters."

Mahad took the weapon back. "Thank you, Aladdin."

Wizard was back to being a regular dog again now that Jafar's magic was undone. He spun around and barked happily. Iago was restored into a parrot!

Iago decided to perch himself on Aladdin's shoulder, he asked, "How's about I stick around with you guys for a while?"

Aladdin thought, then said, "As long as you don't cause us trouble."

Mana noticed the van was changing back!

Mana noticed the two eyes of the snake staff and she asked, "What do we do with these ruby eyes? Since Jafar had been imprisoned in the Cave of Wonders."

"Let's destroy them," Bianca suggested. "They might still have some power despite not being part of the snake staff anymore."

Mahad placed the scimitar into its scabbard to prevent any destruction to the blade and he took a nearby hammer that he found and tried to smash the two jewels, but the hammer's head shattered into pieces.

Danyal stated, "Looks like they're indestructible. We're going to have to lock them away from Agrabah."

Genie stated, "Unfortunately, that won't work. They're magical and they will always come back to the owner."

So, the heroes returned to the royal treasury to pick up where they left off. Natius held the staff and raised it, summoning the Oracle. "What is your question?" she asked the heroes.

Natius stepped forward. "Oracle, our teacher, Mr. Virgil, he's been possessed by an evil host. I need to know, is it possible to free him from his host without him having to be sacrificed?"

Oracle answered, "You must reach out to the soul of Simeon Virgil."

Mahad asked presenting the ruby eyes, "How do we destroy these ruby eyes?"

"They cannot be destroyed," the Oracle answered. "As long as the owner of the staff is alive, he will always be able to restore his staff."

"Damn," Mahad cursed under his breath.

Danyal asked, "Will my trial of Faith begin in the next world?"

The oracle answered, "The element will awaken in its corresponding world. Colonial America."

Anakin asked, "What must I do to reunite my soul with my physical body?"

The Oracle answered, "You must work together with your older sister and new friends in saving other worlds that need your help."

Zander asked, ""What element is going to awaken in the next world?"

"In the deep jungle of Africa, there is a man destined to awaken as the warrior of discovery," the Oracle answered.

Mana noticed a pink stylized balloon symbol on the Genie's hand, and she asked the Oracle, "What is that symbol on Genie's hand?"

The Genie looked at his hand. "I know this. It's the symbol for the element of joy."

"A balloon?" Bianca asked in disbelief. "I think a balloon would mostly represent parties or celebrations."

Mana asked the Oracle, "Will the man of Discovery help us find our way home?"

"There will be many other worlds you will be sent to before you can return to your world," the Oracle answered.

The Oracle had vanished into her resting place.

Omar cried, "It's time to get going to find the warrior of Discovery."

The heroes climbed into the van, ready to go to the next world.

Meanwhile in the Forbidden Castle, Turbo pounded his fist on a table!

"I don't believe this!" he shouted in dismay. "First those kids beat Maleficent, now Jafar?"

Frollo asked, "What do we do now?"

"We have to retrieve Jafar's lamp," said Maleficent. "Besides, I plan to have a word with him for his actions."

Turbo defended, "He almost mesmerized that magpie!"

"But he had no knowledge that Maleficent was still alive because he left before, she returned to this castle," Frollo pointed out. "That's what this is about, right?"

"That's right," Maleficent answered.

Turbo stated, "We can send that Brandon to retrieve the lamp."

Frollo replied, "No!"

"Frollo's right," said Maleficent. "It's too soon for us to send the boy into action."

"So, then who's going to get the lamp?" Turbo asked.

Frollo answered, "I sent that Foulfellow fox."

"In that case, it shouldn't take too long for him to come back with the lamp," said Maleficent.

Foulfellow who was a red fox with green eyes. He was dressed in blue trousers, a blue shirt, a dark blue coat that had claw marks and a green clawed hat collapsed on the floor of the throne room causing him to drop the lamp that fell with a metallic clank!

"What happened to you?" Turbo asked the fox.

Maleficent called for one of the servants. "Take him to the infirmary," she ordered. As a servant proceeded to take Foulfellow away, Maleficent picked up the lamp and rubbed it, summoning Jafar.

Jafar looked around and he saw that he was back in the throne room.

"I'm back," he said to himself. "But how-?"

"Hello, Jafar," Maleficent greeted.

He shuddered at the sound of her voice. He turned around and saw her in her throne. "Maleficent, you're alive? How can that be?"

"I wasn't killed," she told him. "You only assumed I was dead. That also led you to assume that you were now in charge."

Jafar recalled his words during his fight with the heroes. "Forgive me, Maleficent. If I had known you were still alive, I never would have said the things I did."

She grinned and said, "Well, you didn't know because you were already gone by the time I came back. So for that, I'm willing to let you off easy this once.

Jafar sighed of relief. "Oh, you are too kind, Maleficent."

Maleficent warned, "Do not get used to it."

Jafar smiled, "By the way, I was close to mesmerizing that magpie. I also have found out that when I turned the dog into a stuffed animal, she was crushed."

"Don't be so surprised at that," said Turbo. "We know that animal of hers is her weakness. We figured that out when I came close to killing the dog."

Frollo asked Turbo, "Is your hand healed?"

Turbo revealed his hand. His injury was gone.

Turbo stated, "We need to track down where those brats are going."

"I had a vision when I was summoned," Jafar was saying. "They're going to the deep jungle of Africa."

"Summon Clayton," Maleficent ordered. "Inform him that they're going to his world."

Clayton was a man who had a large build and greedy eyes. He was dressed in a suit for an expedition member.

He asked, "Why did you bring me here?"

Author's Notes: Looks like the heroes are on their way to the Deep Jungle from Tarzan (1999). The reason Tarzan was chosen, was because when I asked that question on Facebook a majority voted for Tarzan and there will be special appearance of a certain lion that took his place in Pride Rock.
