Chapter 14
Battle Multiverse
This is just a bit playing with my other verses. I'm taking a bit from a few of my fight scenes and either extending them a bit or showing them off. After a different reviewer noted that I write combat scenes really well, I wanted to know what some of the rest of you thought. So on with the show.

As the audience was coming back, as well as Eri and Aizawa, they question what the next section of videos will be about. With Midnight and Mic joining as they were curious as well. "It looked like a few different fights. One looked like the Sports Festival. But it had Midoriya versus Bakugo. That didn't happen in our world." Itsuka notes with confusion. Mineta though was curious about the shipgirl bit. "The ones we saw before were from our nation. Maybe we'll get to see some other hotties from other nations!" He says with excitement. Which is mirrored by a few of the other perverts.
Pony and All Might though think they know where the next set of ships would be from the States. "I only got a glimpse, but the city shown looked similar to San Diego." All Might says, while Pony noted that the gear one of the girls in the video was wearing a stars and stripes pattern to her clothes. But their questions are about to be answered as the screen lights up.
Star and Stripe was waiting inside of the San Diego Naval base. And feeling a bit antsy. Less than three days ago the USA had been attacked by strange invaders calling themselves Sirens. After the Sirens first attacks, most of the west coast cities were gone. San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles. All decimated, and most of the people dead or critically injured.
With that exposition, most of the audience were shocked. Pony and All Might were especially concerned. The latter hoping that this world's version of the Shields were no where near the state when it was attacked.
With no shipgirls to fight back, and no one who could summon them at first, the fight had fallen to the heroes. And it had gone poorly. Most were dead, some the victim of traps set by the Sirens with civilians as bait.
"We were right. If not even Star and Stripe could handle these monsters… what chance would most of us have." Itsuka says in a solemn tone. Mineta then mentions that the Sirens probably overwhelmed most heroes with clones. "We saw them do that in the earlier video. So they most likely used their numbers to cause distractions or damage. Then had a few more pop in and take out the heroes." "It is always weird to hear you talk rational or sensible Mineta. We're all so used to your perverted antics." Jiro says with a raised eyebrow at the short hero student.
The teachers though were just considering what it could mean for all heroes going forward in that world. "Given the enemy are mostly women, my quirk would have limited effects on them." Midnight says, while Present Mic agrees and notes that his power wouldn't be too useful either. "It could maybe disorient enemies in the water, given how sound travels. But those airborne enemies would be difficult." Aizawa agrees with his friend while Nezu contemplates the scenarios shown. And tries to find an outcome that could lead to their victory.
It had been through luck that Star and Stripe had managed to find someone able to summon the ship girls. A silver eyed black haired young man name John Kotov, who had been visiting a relative in Los Angeles. But all of his family was gone now as was his right leg. "You girls ready?" Kotov asked from a mobile command center. After suggesting the likely target of the Sirens, he and the other refugees were moved far away from the base and city.
"Wise. He figured they would try to use the civilians to attract or distract the heroes. So he suggested they move." All Might says while scratching his chin. For the students, they feel pity for Kotov. "He's lost so much. And now he has to be entrusted to guide and fight an enemy most heroes can't defeat." Jurota says with a bow of his head. Ibarra sends up a quick prayer for those who died in that world at the hands of the Sirens.
"Not to worry commander. We will win this day." A calm, motherly voice said over the comms. She has silver hair and kind blue gray eyes. Her dress is white and black with an officer's coat over it, that seems to accentuate her breasts. With a blue rose on her chest. On her legs are black panty hose with blue shoes. And for rigging she has a solid runway on her right side attached to her back with mechanical parts. On her left is a piece that seems similar to a command tower. This is USS Yorktown.
Surprisingly, none of the perverts make any kind of sexual comment about Yorktown. "Okay what is wrong with you guys? I was sure you'd say something that would make me want to stab you with my jacks." Jiro says while looking at Kaminari and Mineta with a tilt to her head. Kaminari didn't have anything to say, but Mineta just mentioned that it didn't seem right even to him. "She's….. well too much of a lady. I mean yeah she's got a bit of cleavage and she's probably got some great legs to go with those panty hose. But honestly….. it just doesn't feel right to say anything. It feels like I'd be insulting my mother."
Upon hearing that, all the girls were shocked. Most of them didn't believe he had a standard of any type. And yet here he had a limit to his perversion. With the teachers, each of the men looked Yorktown over and could concur with his statement. "Yeah I see it. Honestly, I'd just want to take her to dinner at a really nice restaurant. Rather than ask her to fight." Present Mic says with a nod. Midnight though is a bit indignant and says they wouldn't think the same about her.
A happier voice cuts over the comms with, "better believe it! Those Sirens won't know what hit them." The speaker has red eyes and her hair is strawberry blonde. She has a confident smirk and a sportier look about her. From her star-spangled socks with tennis shoes, a black skirt on her waist, with a zip up blue long-sleeved shirt, and a cape over her shoulders, she seems to embody American patriotism. This is USS Cleveland.
Pony then stands and salutes before happily saying, "USA!" A feeling All Might mirrors with a salute of his own. This time though, the pervs do have a comment. Mostly about the fact that Cleveland was basically flat, with some nice legs. Their punishments vary with those who enact it. Though Tsubarabara is unconscious from a vine smack to the head.
Beside her is a heavier armed shipgirl. She is a tanner young woman with blue black hair, and green eyes. Though one is covered by her hair. She is wearing the most revealing attire of the summons so far, being short white shorts and a tight white top with a star on it. On her mostly exposed legs, she has a US navy tattoo on the left and a black stocking with black straps on her right. For rigging, she has two triple barreled guns attached to her back mechanically. And is holding a third in her right hand. Both hands of which are covered by red gloves that reach up to her elbows. The Washington Treaty heavy cruiser, Northampton.
"She's wearing more on her forearms and lower legs than the rest of her body." Momo comments with a raised eyebrow. Though the hard heads think the tattoo on her leg is awesome. "And well… kinda hot really." Kirishima says with a blush to match his hair. Tetsutetsu agrees with his friend, while commenting about the Washington Treaty bit.
While Momo gives a long lecture to the two, Bakugo is curious on what she could do with those cannons. "It may not be equal to what I can put out, but she can probably still blast away like no one's business." He says with a smirk.
Off in what used to be the refugee camp, a third shipgirl is napping. She is wearing a red skirt with a white spaghetti strapped shirt. With one strap down, and a pink jacket over that. He legs have white stockings and white shoes. And for rigging, she has a single turret on her right side and a quintuple torpedo mount on the left side. At her side is a small spotlight. When she opens her eyes they are red and her white hair in two wild pigtails. Held in place by two clips with bunny ear protrusions coming out of them. When she speaks, her voice is a bit monotone and sleepy as well. "Laffey just wants to sleep. Snore."
Upon seeing the silver haired bunny girl, all of the female members coo at how cute she appears. "Laffey-chan is so adorable! Think I could hug her? I can't believe they are putting such a cutie on the battlefield! Wonder what kind of ship she is?" Nejire rattles off while floating around. Even Midnight wants to hug the adorable little ship. "I'd even be willing to lend my lap or chest if she wanted to nap on me." Midnight says with a smile. Eri though thinks that Laffey looks like she could be her big sister. Mainly with the hair and red eyes.
Most of the guys meanwhile don't think Laffey will amount to much. Though Mineta makes a joke about the fact that she had bunny ears. "She probably won't match up with the big bad bunny from our world." Upon thinking about Mirko, most agree with that thought. And Bakugo just scoffs at the idea that a small little shipgirl would have any potential in a fight.
After John stops Star from rushing into a possible trap, a new figure appears. A horned girl with white hair sparking blue eyes and a sinister smirk. And a large metal shark like construct behind her. This is the high rank Siren Ommiter. After a quick exposition about the likelihood of the quirk world surviving, Star attacks the alien. But is stopped by the barrier she created.
Star is sent back before tossing a beam shot her way to the enemy. But it only defeats one clone. Ommiter then gets close and slams Star away. While also ordering her clones to attack the refugees.
This enrages all of the pros, with All Might angrily buffing up for a second. Izuku meanwhile wishes he could jump in and help fight the monsters. 'Especially to get Laffey out. She can't handle all of those enemies!' Izuku thinks while watching on. Nejire meanwhile is wishing she could also go and help Laffey out.
Suddenly, a wave of bombers and fighters descend on the Siren horde. And then the Sirens are shot by the cannon blasts from Cleveland and Northampton. And a confident Cleveland calling out, "got your back Kate!" before she leaps up and kicks around a few of the clones. Quick firing her guns with precision. Northampton meanwhile takes advantage of her slightly heavier armor and gets close to bash and blast a few of the clones.
"Hell yeah!" the audience members cheer as the shipgirls make their move. With Pony and All Might this time chanting "USA!" as they watch. Even Eri starts copying what she sees the two do. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima call Northampton "manly" after watching how she got up close for a big hit. As well as taking down the airborne enemies. While a few like Rin and Aoyama wonder if they could copy the way Cleveland fights.
Star gets up and looks around before asking, "where's Laffey? Is she sleeping!?"
"Probably. She's most likely the most useless one of the ships there." Bakugo says with a scoff before eating some popcorn. Kamakiri agrees and notes that a sleepy head like Laffey would be a liability.
Cleveland and Northampton just look at each other before giving a nervous chuckle. And suddenly a Siren clone crashes into the wall next to Star. With it's head caved in.
When the audience sees that, all of their eyes bug out. "Did Yorktown….?" Bondo asks nervously. But a few others note that Yorktown was at sea. So she couldn't be back. "So then who…..?" Aizawa trails off before the scene answers for them.
Star looks back to the camp and sees Laffey going to town on the Sirens. One gets close and tries to shoot and slash the girl. But she easily dodges before getting in close and quick comboing a series of blows to the invader's abdomen. She then stomp kicks the Siren's knee before elbow striking the stomach again and throwing the Siren over her shoulder. Once on the ground, Laffey breaks the Siren's arm before quickly turning her back to take on more enemies. But she doesn't leave the monster at that. She pulls a depth charge from her rig and tosses it back over her shoulder. Impacting the clone's face and incinerating it.
When they see what Laffey had done to just one Siren, all of the student's jaws were on the ground. The teachers meanwhile were much the same. Mirio didn't even have time to cover Eri's eyes, he was too shocked. "Wha….. Buuu…. How….?" Nejire just barely mutters out. Kamakiri and Bakugo meanwhile feel like idiots for underestimating the girl.
Another clone flies at her, but Laffey's sleepy expression doesn't change. Not even as she picks up an oil barrel and uses it to swat and smash away the clone's first strike. As she was turning, she grabbed a second barrel and used it to smash the Siren into the ground a few times. As three more fly to engage the girl, she tosses the oil barrels into the air. The Siren's think they'll be fine, given she didn't get close to them. But that was a feint. Right as the barrels get close, Laffey fires her cannon at the barrels and causes an explosion. Incinerating two clones, and some of the extra oil got splashed onto the third. Setting the creature ablaze.
The two most violent members of the hero course are still stunned. With Bakugo saying, "she's kicking their asses like its nothing." Most of the girls meanwhile are still stunned by the beat down the cute little bunny they wanted to cuddle could unleash. And the shipgirl wasn't done.
She leaps up at one point, using he cannon to propel herself upward before kicking one clone across the face. She then takes two torpedoes out of her rig and chucks them precisely into the cannons two clones were about to fire. The resulting explosion leaves nothing of the clones, and Laffey isn't done.
"Hey that's just like how Bakubro moves around." Kirishima says after shaking out of the shock. Said explosive blonde nods and looks over Laffey with greater interest.
Laffey then uses her uses her spotlight to blind another clone close to the ground before getting up close and kneeing the clone in the stomach. And while it is bent over, Laffey takes aim with her turret and fires at the Siren's face. Which just leaves a headless Siren.
At seeing Laffey basically execute a Siren point blank, Bakugo admits to a greater respect. "I'm no where near this ruthless yet. And she can do it while looking like she wants to take a nap!" Bakugo says with a big smile growing on his face. Mineta though notices something else in his tone and laughs a bit to himself. "He's becoming a lolicon!" Mineta says quietly.
She then dodges a beam being shot in her direction by leaning back quickly. Laffey then runs to the water dodging shots and beams from the Sirens. While still having a sleepy look on her face. She fires off a few torpedoes at the Sirens in the bay, while also shooting up into the air to knock down any Siren planes or clones.
Ida is especially shocked that the shipgirl dodged what appeared to be a lightspeed beam. "Are all of the shipgirls that fast?" He questions aloud. Which many wonder as well. Pony's smile though keeps getting bigger as she sees the little spirit of an American ship kicking so much ass it was jaw dropping. Eri is impressed as well, wishing that Laffey could be her real big sister.
"Let me give you a boost Laffey!" Cleveland shouts as her eye's light up blue and suddenly all of the anti air turrets in the area are boosted. Even the ones manned by the soldiers on base.
"Now that is solidarity. She strengthens not just herself or her fellow shipgirl. But all those aiming to defeat the Sirens." All Might says with another salute. Nezu says much the same before saying, "I wonder if they have other powers like this one. Perhaps a power that boosts offense, or defense for certain ships."
With Laffey though, she engages three more Sirens she pushed toward the ground. Laffey takes out two more torpedoes and rushes toward the clones. She nimbly dodges their beams before getting close and kneeing one in the face. And then she uses her torpedoes as makeshift bats and bashes around two more clones before turning her turret to engage one more. And then firing off her remaining three torpedoes in her launcher. The long-range fire takes out two clones and a full-sized ship, before she kicks and bashes the first three engaged a few more times. She then shoves one torpedo into a dazed siren's mouth before kicking the invader away.
The audience is still shocked at seeing how Laffey goes about fighting her enemies. "Now she's taking whatever she's got on hand and beating them to death!" Bakugo says with an even bigger smile. Kamakiri mirrors this and wonders what it would be like to fight her in their world.
She uses the other torpedo on the second clone after smacking it in the stomach with a homerun swing. While it is down, she rolls over the Siren's back before shoving the torpedo up …. well it's somewhere you wouldn't want it to be. And the third she distracts by shooting into the water. Then she stealthily gets behind the clone and snaps it's neck.
Upon seeing the last two kills Laffey made, there are a variety of reactions. Mineta is the first to respond with, "okay! Who else clenched their butts when they saw where Laffey shoved that last torpedo?" All of the men in the audience raised their hands. Even the teachers. Setsuna nervously chuckled before saying, "I didn't clench my butt. But I did clench somewhere else." All of the girls (Eri excepted) blushed and agreed with the girl. While the pervs gain a creepy look at first, it is replaced by a wincing look instead. "Yeah no I see your point." Kosei says with a shiver.
The thoughts for the second kill were summed up by Bakugo. "Yeah Mirko is no longer the deadliest rabbit I've ever seen. Laffey has got her beat. Right down to the ruthless style she gets the job done." Most of the audience agrees, while a few from class 1-A are surprised that he would remember the little shipgirl's name.
As she is sailing away from the carnage, she still has a sleepy look. Accentuated by her yawning and saying, "sleepy."
Hearing the little warrior say that makes most of the audience anime fall over. "Seriously!? She goes on a short-term murder spree. Kicking so much ass she might as well be a long-time assassin against a group of rent a cops! And the only thing she can say is that she's sleepy?!" The one who says this rant is none other than the wallflower of the Big 3: Tamaki. After he finished talking, Mirio commented that speech was the longest he's ever heard his classmate talk. Which just makes the pointy eared teen turn back toward the wall.
After a tense battle, Omitter is defeated, and her bomb plot is stopped by John chucking the bomb out to sea with his quirk. Maximize.
"Whoa! He can do that! Why isn't this guy a hero!?" a few students say after seeing the one-legged man throw a heavy bomb out into the ocean. All Might though has an idea on why this person may not have become a hero.
When questioned about it, he just says he never wanted to be a hero. Enjoying his simple life in Oklahoma.
All Might smiles a bit before saying, "just because you may have power doesn't mean you always want to use it. We're all so caught up in our quirks and the hero society built around them that we can't fathom someone not wanting to use theirs to be a hero." "But to someone like him, he just wanted a simpler life. I can imagine the idea of the stress of being a hero would be an immediate reason to turn away." Nezu says with a hum.
Hitoshi thinks a bit on that as well, given it is the exact opposite of what he was told in middle school. 'I wanted to be a hero but everyone told me my quirk would be befitting for a villain. And this guy has a quirk that would assure he'd be a top tier hero. And he wants nothing to do with it.' Hitoshi thinks a bit bitterly.
Bakugo though see's the man's situation as the opposite of his own. While both had been told they would be great heroes due to their quirks, they would choose very different paths. 'All because he doesn't care about the idea of being the best or anything like that. But he still has the potential to be a hero. Even when hurt. And he'll save who he can.'
But back at the base, the rest are deciding what to do with Omitter. "Well now. What do you think Yorktown? Should we let Star and the soldiers finish this one? Or do we turn her over to Laffey?" Cleveland says with a smirk. Laffey meanwhile had been napping slightly while standing. But upon hearing Cleveland mention her, she wakes up with a little yawn. And then pulls out two of her torpedoes and swings them around like bats.
"Meep." Most of the members of the audience say as they see Laffey getting ready to beat down someone else.
But the Siren is saved by the appearance of another high rank Siren Observer. She distracts the heroes and gives Omitter the time to run. Before she leaves, Observer congratulates those gathered before leaving Siren cubes. And the screen fades out.
"Hm her name befits her attitude and actions. She's quite the dangerous one." Nezu says as battle for San Diego ends. While most want to talk about the crazy fight they just watched, they are quickly distracted by the next scene starting up.
Life had become very strange for the students and teachers from UA. After a joint training session, a strange black hole had opened up in the middle of the 1-A dorm. It sucked all of the people gathered into it….. and then transported them to a strange world.
"Seriously? I think I saw Shinso in attendance as well. This sounds like some fantasy novel or some crap like that." The students all say. Nezu though is intrigued by this idea and wonders what the new world they would arrive in would hold.
This world was not at all like the one they had come from. For starters huge monsters roamed the land. Each appearing somewhat mythological. From the flying fire breathing duo of Rathians and Rathaloses, to small beasts like Kestodons that appeared similar to dinosaurs.
Nezu is wide eyed as he says, "okay was not expecting that." Most of the others think the same. But Bakugo recovers quickly saying, "doesn't matter what those beasts look like or can do. I'd blast them all away with my quirk!" A few others agree and wonder how some of their powers would stack up against the monsters.
But what was most jarring for the students and teachers, was that they no longer had their quirks or any changes related to quirks. Tokoyami appearing like a young man with jet black hair and a hooked nose. Pony no longer having horns or hooves. Even Toru Hagakure could be seen. She was a cute girl with short red hair and a few freckles on her face.
Upon hearing and seeing that, all of the audience member's jaws dropped. Especially at what Toru looked like. "Hey Toru? Is that really what you look like!?" Mina questioned quickly, while also being amazed at her own changed appearance in that other world. Toru gives a quiet yes, while still being amazed at what they saw.
Most of the students had taken long to adjust to their new situation and world. But not Izuku. He quickly threw himself into learning from the hunters, the people who face off with the monsters on a daily basis. Seeing that they had skills and potential that could even relate to fighting villains back in their own world. So, while most of them just waited with hope that they would return home, Izuku spent two weeks training and learning to be a hunter.
"Manly!" the hard heads shouted. Before clarifying that the statement was for the hunters and for Izuku himself. "He's willing to face off with things way out of his weight class! Just to learn how to fight better!" Kirishima says with an excited tone. Mirio meanwhile claps Izuku on the shoulder. Congratulating the young hero for his courage.
Izuku though isn't too surprised. "These people face off with things that we would only classify with quirks in our world. How they fight could be translated to how we fight against the monsters of our world." "I hate to agree with you but I do see it. But I'm also not surprised you would adapt better. All of us have had our quirks for years. You just recently awakened yours. So you could adapt better." Bakugo says with a contemplative look. The fact he agreed with Izuku, let alone complimented him, made a few think the world was about to end. "Is it raining spears outside?" "I'll KILL YOU!"
But his hubris had almost cost him. He ended up in a fight with a creature known as an Elder Dragon. A Kirin. He fought it and a dangerous sub species of Rathalos that was blue. Due to a lightning blast from the Kirin, Izuku was blasted over a cliff in a region known as the Coral Highlands. And lost for nearly a week.
Seeing what Izuku ended up fighting, let alone that the monster was seen as a force of nature, they were shocked that he survived at all. With All Might clenching his fist at the idea of his successor being lost like that.
"Ooohhh. I wonder if anyone got the license plate of the truck that ran me over. Maybe that sent me back to my own world" Izuku says to himself as he stands up in a hidden part of the Coral Highlands. "Probably have a few broken bones. But considering what my first year of highschool has been like that shouldn't be to surprising." Izuku thinks aloud as he starts walking to try and find a way to signals the others.
"Whoa that place looks beautiful!" Mina says with sparkles in her eyes. Aoyama thinks much the same, while some of the others joke that broken bones wouldn't be strange for him. "I mean you broke your arms multiple times in the first month alone." Mineta said with a laugh. Izuku though just blushes before rubbing the back of his head.
Suddenly he feels stomping behind him. He turns and sees a terrifying sight. An Ebony Odogaron. A normal red Odogaron would be bad enough, but this was a dangerous sub species.
"Welp he's dead." Kamakiri says offhandedly. Most of 1-B agrees with a nod, while 1-A knows different. "He won't go down that easy. I should know." Todoroki says with his arms crossed. Bakugo meanwhile comments that, "Deku doesn't know when to quit." And the others of 1-A say much the same.
It is hurt as well and the two start limping down the small water way they found themselves in. With the Odogaron looking to attack the teen. But then the coral under them collapses and the enemies find themselves trapped inside of an almost arena like area.
'No other choice' Izuku thinks as he cannot use his broken slinger to call for help. He draws his sword and takes a stance to fight the monster. Luckily for him, a few more boulders crash down on the beast as Izuku moves in to cut it.
With a snort, Hitoshi says, "well that was lucky." "He's gonna need more that luck to get out of this scenario." Monoma says coolly. Itsuka gives him a look as if to say "not helpful" but doesn't knock him out.
Izuku gives a pained laugh before saying, "I'll take what I can get!" and builds up spirit in his sword. He gets in a few good hits and only gets cut once before blinding the creature with a flash pod. With a deep breath, Izuku unleashes the strongest spirit sword combo he can. Before a final slash to the monster's jugular.
Both hardheads use their quirks before giving each other a fist bump and shouting, "MANLY!" Kamakiri meanwhile claps a bit for the skill and precision to use the massive blade that Izuku was wielding. While the rest of 1-A is cheering or saying "told you so" to the 1-B naysayers.
All Might and Aizawa also nod at the skill this other version of Izuku had shown. While Eri was just happy that Izuku was okay, and happily announced, "Deku's gonna be okay now! He beat the monster and he's safe!"
Right as Izuku is catching his breath, and new figure falls into the arena. "Oh COME ON!" Izuku says with a wince. It is then he sees a wounded Kirin. While cannot understand what it was doing there, he has a suspicion.
"That fight with the Rathalos left you pretty hurt. You don't have much time left. And you'd rather go out fighting." Izuku says to the creature. Which then snorts before standing and charging up it's electricity. So, with a sigh, Izuku takes his stance once again.
This amazes the rest, with the hardheads bowing to Izuku as the pillar of manliness, and they were all hoping that Izuku could walk away or win this somehow. Eri though just feels bad as she thinks she jinxed the other Izuku.
'I don't know how long we've been fighting….. but I don't have much left. I can get one last attack out before I pass out… or die. I'm not sure which is more likely at this point.' Izuku thinks while he and the Kirin are catching their breath. The beast then charges up it's lightning before charging straight at Izuku.
The teen just smiles before remembering the first training exercise. He deftly dodges to the side and cuts into the Kirin's leg muscles. When it falls to it's side, Izuku uses another strong set of combos to finish the fight.
Tetsutetsu doesn't bother saying manly this time. Instead he gets under Izuku and raises the green teen up. Parading him around a bit as the God of Manly Aspiration on earth. While Izuku is furiously blushing, Ibarra takes offense to Tetsutetsu's claim. And quickly knocks him away. Saying, "there is only one god Tetsutetsu-san." She does not catch Izuku either and the boy is dropped onto the floor painfully.
Before it fades out, the Kirin sends up a large bolt of lightning. "Not sure what that was for….. Anyway, good fight. I'm gonna pass out now." As Izuku is saying this, others who had been searching for him spot the bolt and head that way. To rescue the lost hunter who felled an Elder Dragon alone.
"Okay. now that Deku is going to be okay." Eri says nervously while also being concerned for the Deku in their world. Izuku sits up and cracks his back before asking Ibarra to give a warning next time. "Apologies Midoriya. I was a more focused on chastising my classmate." Izuku is about to say it was fine when the flashed again.
When the screen lights up again, the scene shows Bakugo in the Sports Festival arena. And standing opposite him is Izuku.
"Okay this didn't happen in our world." Present Mic says in confusion. Many of the others agree and are curious where this will go. Bakugo scoffs before saying, "I'm obviously going to win! Deku couldn't even use his quirk at this point!" A few of the others agree and wonder what will happen to this other version of their classmate. "Be careful Deku-kun." Ochaco says quietly.
Present Mic then says, "Now then. For the last match of the first round, its another dark horse from the gen ed department. The explosive maniac: Bakugo Katsuki! And his opponent. Both grew up in the same middle school but this one made it to the hero course. The top scoring applicant from the entrance exam, and a quirkless powerhouse akin to Svoboda: Midoriya Izuku!"
"WAIT WHAT!?" All of the audience says. Bakugo meanwhile is practically livid at the idea that this version of him was in the general course. Not the hero course where he believed he belonged. "And what was that bit with Midoriya being a quirkless powerhouse?" Ida says with a rapid chop of his hands.
Momo though notes something else. "Did Mic say Svoboda? That's a European name right?" "Oui. It is Czech I believe. Perhaps this is another international student." Aoyama says with vested interest. Some of the others wonder how Izuku could be a powerhouse without a quirk. Izuku most of all.
At the mentioning of his quirklessness, Izuku just rolled his eyes before focusing on Katsuki. Who in turn was intimidated by the look in his former victim's eyes. He had never seen Izuku without a look of fear or worry. "You think you'll be winning this you damn Deku!?" Katsuki shouts out as Midnight is about to start the match. Izuku on the other hand is calm and just takes a breath before saying, "I don't think. I know."
Jaws drop at the way this version of Izuku acted. "He's not nervous at all. He's facing off with Bakugo of all people. I mean yeah this one is in the general department, but still. What changed in that world?" A few audience members say. While the two other parallel characters are amazed at the actions of this other Izuku.
'Does this me already know how to use One fo- No wait, he said quirkless….. so how?' Izuku thinks for a bit but can't even start a mumble spree because of how confused he was. Bakugo meanwhile is shocked by how confident this hero version of his victim was.
That incises Katsuki more and with the announcement of the start of the match, he rockets toward Izuku. Who catches his big right swing and throws him on the ground so hard, it cracks and Katsuki coughs up some spit. As he is bouncing up, Izuku follows this up with a kick to Katsuki's side. The explosive blonde manages to stop just short of the edge, but he can tell he's pretty hurt from just that attack alone. 'What the hell! I don't think he even used his quirk. Or whatever it is. He just hit me with standard martial arts. Does he think he'll win with just that alone!?' At finishing that thought, Katsuki blasts himself forward again, and Izuku has a feeling on what he's going to do next.
"Dude! That was like a combo attack version of what he did against you during the first training session!" Kaminari says with a laugh. Itsuka and Ojiro meanwhile is impressed with the skill and technique the other Izuku had used. "Do you think the quirkless power part comes from his training?" Ojiro questions while watching the fight in interest. Monoma though decides to needle Bakugo by saying, "do you ever get tired of being wrong. This is like the third or fourth time so far." Bakugo just glares at the copy user before grumbling in his seat.
Katsuki feints with a right again and blasts himself over Izuku. As he's coming over he tries to unleash a huge blast. There's just one problem. Izuku isn't there anymore. All of the sudden Katsuki is kicked in the groin from above. Izuku waited for when he figured Katsuki would be focused on where he was and struck. While most in the audience are groaning at the hit, Katsuki has a different mentality. "DAMN YOU! You went for a cheating cheap shot!?"
"No rule against it. Besides, you guys are all about the idea of the strong winning. It's a better idea to be smart when it comes to winning." Izuku says calmly before going in with a kick to Katsuki's head and a few body blows with his fists.
Most of the guys give an 'oooohhh' statement before grabbing for their crotches as well. "Well, that Bakugo might not be having kids in the future." Mina says with a grin. Their version is tempted to flip the pink girl off, but he stops because Eri is nearby. Kirishima though isn't sure about the fact that the other Izuku was willing to take a cheap shot. But Aizawa applauds the other Izuku. "He's right. Better to make sure you can stop your opponent in any way possible. It's the rational way to fight." Aizawa says, while Present Mic remembers a sparing match from when they were student. And his friend did just that to him as well.
But he still gets carried away though. After a few hits Katsuki has recovered enough that he can unleash a strong blast. This knocks Izuku back a fair distance, and Katsuki tries to capitalize on it. He gets off one more big explosion, that does some damage. But not only is Izuku still standing, he unleashes a 10% "Detroit SMASH!". This blow sends Katsuki flying again. He still rights himself, but he is hurting. "Well its not like you are gonna be in better shape. I'll win." Katsuki says to himself.
Then his jaw drops when the burns and other injuries on Izuku's body start to heal. Izuku again just calmly stands up and walks back toward where he started. With a crack of his neck Izuku says, "this is part of the strength….. of true metas." This irritates Katsuki more and more, because none of what he has done even seems to have affected Izuku.
"Whoa…" is what most of the audience says after seeing Izuku heal from what would have been a dangerous attack. "Deku-kun you can't do that right?" Ochaco asks with a sideways look. When Izuku numbly confirms that he can't the others are curious about whatever this true meta power is. And how it is different from quirks.
But what Izuku does next really sends him into a blind rage. Izuku seems to be bouncing from one foot to the other, and then bring his hand up and gives Katsuki and "bring it" hand taunt.
While some make a comment of "oh he gonna die" others have an idea of what might happen next. Bakugo being one of them. "This is over. And I lose." He says bitterly.
So of course, Katsuki does just that, and blasts as fast as he can toward Izuku. And right as he's into the big right swing again, unleashing an explosion, Izuku dodges by bending backwards at the hip to where he is parallel with the ground. Katsuki's blow misses and then he sees the smile on Izuku's face.
"It was then he knew he effed up." Mineta says with a huge smile on his face. The rest of 1-A is in the same place as they are waiting in anticipation for the attack that would surely be coming next.
Izuku proceeds to flip kick hard down on Katsuki's back, slamming the teen's face into the ground. He then follows up with body blow kick to the stomach, and as Katsuki is rolling from the hit, Izuku gets behind him and unleashes another powerful kick to the head. Again Katsuki is rolling and as he is coming up again, Izuku is right in front of him. And he unleashes a 20% "Kansas SMASH" to Katsuki's face. The blow breaks his nose and a few other parts of his face and sends him flying again. And making his body spin around and around. And it is over, because Katsuki flew back and impacted on the wall of the arena.
Jaws are dropped again, but then a few others cheer for the powerful end to the fight that just happened. With Eri hugging Izuku while congratulating him. "Kansas Smash huh? I'll have to remember that one." Izuku thinks aloud.
All Might though is proud of the other version of his successor in this fight. 'You faced off with your tormentor and showed the world that you were here. Well done….. other young Midoriya.' Nezu and the rest though are more and more curious about this true meta power. And how this version of Izuku awakened it. "Let alone who this Svoboda is."
Of course, Katsuki himself doesn't fully know this. He was unconscious right after the blow. "That's it! Midoriya Izuku is the winner!" There are some cheers, but more are unsettled by the fact that another quirkless person won. They had told themselves for so long that quirkless were weak. And now, three were showing impressive results against those with quirks.
This makes most of the audience wince at that final point. Because even if they didn't say it or act on those types of thoughts, it wasn't wrong. They often did look down on quirkless people because they couldn't do what they all could.
The next fight might be one they would know, but it is a different battle from what they all knew was on the screen. It is Todoroki in the Sports Festival. But he isn't against Izuku. This time it is a large teen, with a build equal to All Might's. He has messy brown hair and an olive skin tone. But what is most eye catching is that he is wearing sunglasses that seem to allow no light in.
The general though about this other young man was again "whoa" as he appeared to be a very intimidating presence. Though they all put together that this was the other true meta mentioned earlier.
"And there he is folks! The brickhouse of 1-A! Jotaro Svoboda!" With both standing in the arena, Midnight waits for an affirmative from both before shouting, "BEGIN!" Right away Todoroki unleashes a huge wave of ice at Jotaro. Who in turn doesn't even move. He just stands with his arms crossed.
"What is he doing? He should be trying to get out of the way like Ida did!" Sero says with a shiver. As he remembers the feeling of being quickly frozen by Todoroki during his own match. The others agree with him and wonder what this Svoboda character is thinking. Izuku's eyes widen though as he realizes what is going on. "So that's it."
Once the attack is done, Midnight is about to call it Todoroki's victory when everyone hears a cracking. The see cracks forming all around the ice until it shatters completely. And Jotaro is still just standing there like nothing happened.
Jaws drop again and most of the audience ask what was going on. Izuku though just gets a bigger smile. One that Todoroki notices as well. "You figured something out Midoriya?" "Yeah. I think I know exactly what this guy is doing. Both with why he's just standing there, and why he's not finishing the fight." Most of the rest are confused, but Nezu starts to put some ideas together.
Todoroki ups the amount of ice and freezes Jotaro in place a few more times, before he asks, "How do you keep breaking my ice?! You can't even move in most of those cases!" Jotaro just smirks before saying, "I'll hold my arm out to show you. Just freeze it if you really want to know." Todoroki and the crowd are confused, but the fire and ice boy does just unleash a wave that freezes Jotaro's arm. "Whew. That is fairly cold. Now then." Jotaro says with a little smirk, before flexing and breaking all of the ice around his arm.
Jaws were already on the ground, so a few just fainted at the sight and thought that this quirkless person had enough power to destroy a glacier by flexing. "Now I see it! Though I have to wonder just what else this young man can do?" Nezu says having put together the other reason Izuku had mention. While Aizawa was wondering if he could negate that power at all. 'It's not like he's using a quirk. Its some other kind of power.' The erasure hero thinks to himself, and feeling a bit of pity for his other universe self.
"He's just flexing!? In more than one way! Seriously?! How is he supposed to fight against that?!" Are the common things said around the arena and even from the commentors. Jotaro still has a smile on his face and takes a few slow steps forward. Todoroki uses as much ice as he can to trip Jotaro up, but he either smashes through it or stomps and disrupts his wave or path. 'Damnit. I'm getting too cold. But I can't use my fire. I won't!' Todoroki thinks rapidly.
He tries to change up his attacks by maneuvering around and striking Jotaro from a few angles to throw him off. But he dodges or counters every wave of ice he sends his way. "I'm not gonna make a boring or predictable crack here, because I'm pretty sure you already know that. You can't win by going at half. You aren't like me who has to hold back. You're doing this out of spite. And that won't save people. That'll just get more killed. So give me your best shot. Let's see what you can do."
Izuku smiles before saying, "that about what I said during our match. But this guy can do the job without breaking bones." Todoroki smiles a bit before thinking back on the match himself. Though he has to wonder how this 'Jotaro' would react to his next way of pushing back against using his fire.
After hearing that, Todoroki asks if his father put him up to that. "Who cares about that stupid and worthless waste of space? I already kicked his ass earlier." At hearing that everyone is confused. It is then a video appears on screen, and they see Endeavor talking with Jotaro. At hearing what Jotaro called him, and then both men's responses to said action, more people are terrified of what Jotaro can do.
Upon seeing that, all of the audience is stunned again. Though Nezu is chuckling like a madman. "This dude is a whole other level of manly! He's just stared down and challenged the number two like it was nothing!" Kirishima shouts with excitement.
Shoto on the other hand is amazed that Jotaro challenged his father without batting an eye. "Why do you want me to use it?" "Because you have the capability to go beyond anything your old man could hope to do. This is your life. Not his. And it's your power. He can't control it. Only you can. And only you can decide the kind of hero, that you want to be." Jotaro says with a calm look on his face. A few other hero students are impressed on what he said and that it was fairly inspirational. Shoto on the other hand starts thinking back to his mother and some of what she had said. 'Make your powers your own. You are not a prisoner of your bloodline.' At remembering that, Shoto's left side engulfs itself in flames.
Todoroki smiles before saying, "almost exactly like what you said. But he's much calmer about saying it." Izuku blushes a bit before noting that this other guy's true meta power might have something to do with it. "It seems like he's invulnerable. And if the breaking of your ice waves is anything to go by, he's equal or greater than me in strength. Who knows? He might have other powers… maybe that is part of the true meta element?"
Nezu meanwhile thinks about what Izuku mentioned and considers what it could compare with for quirks. Let alone the fact that this other boy is confident and skilled in his application of his power.
Jotaro just smiles while everyone in the stands is terrified by the amount of flames coming out of the arena. When Endeavor starts to talk about the fact that Shoto has embraced his fire, Jotaro winds up and unleashes a shockwave punch that sends him into a wall. "Shut the fuck up you dumb animal. This is between him and me. You want to fight? You come down here yourself and see where that leads you. Now then. Bring it!" Jotaro says with an angry look at first, then a challenging look.
"Don't blame me for what happens!" Shoto shouts as he unleashes a powerful burst of fire. The whole of the arena then explodes from the contrasting temperatures. "There's no way that kid could have taken that! Man, that was crazy!" Are the various things heard around the stands.
When the smoke and steam clears, they notice that Shoto had been blown back. But he stopped himself short of the edge. On the other hand….. Jotaro hasn't even moved from the spot he was standing at before.
A few more members of the audience are shocked by the other teen appearing none the worse for wear. His clothing doesn't even appear to be singed or damaged in any way. "But how did he tank that explosion?" Juzo asks while scratching his head.
While everyone is freaking out and trying to understand what happened, Izuku points it out first. "Look at his feet." At that a few nearby and eventually the camera focus in on the ground. Jotaro had pushed his feet into the ground and braced himself from the explosion. While everyone is still reeling from that, Jotaro cracks his neck before saying, "Not bad. But this is done." At that he pulls his feet out, and rushes so fast no one can see him. He appears in front of Shoto, grabs his shirt and throws him out of the arena.
"Well that was anticlimactic." Tsuyu says with a flat tone. "Yeah I mean he could have finished this waaaayyy earlier. So why didn't he?" Mina questions. Izuku just smiles before saying, "because he was doing what I was trying to do. Save Todoroki. He just pulled it off better." "I agree. I get the feeling, the other me will be feeling better. Much like how I did after our match in the Sports Festival." Todoroki says with a smile to his first friend.
While there are some who are complaining about an anticlimactic end to an impressive fight, more are stunned by what happened. "He could have ended this easily. You saw how fast he moved, why didn't he do that in the first place." One pro watching from the stands asked. Another said, "It was almost like he was trying to save him. Not fight him."
Izuku just gestures to the screen with a smile. A few of the others just shrug. Noting that they probably wouldn't have done that in either teens' position. 'But that is what makes Izuku and I guess this other guy true heroes.' Ochaco, Kirishima, Ida and a few others think before the scene shifts again.
Its time for the finals and the scene shows Izuku shaking hands with Jotaro. And the with a spark Izuku can tell something is different. "You boosted me up?" "I did. You shouldn't have to worry about recoil as much. And you'll be able to heal faster." Jotaro says with a calm smile.
Izuku can tell this isn't permanent, but he is still looking forward to going all out against Jotaro. Suddenly though, a new voice calls out. Above Midnight is a girl with blue skin and midnight black hair. While she is floating, the girl's legs look like a spectral tail of sorts. This is Saphentite Anwar, another member of class 1-A. She has her arms crossed and she tells the boys, "you can't fight here. You'll kill everyone."
"Holy crap she's hot!" Mineta shouts with wide eyes. A few other guys agree with him. Kaminari saying the girl has better proportions that Momo. And they are rewarded with earphone jacks to their necks and a heartbeat pulse. Courtesy of Jiro. Though a few others wonder who else was removed from the hero course if this other girl was in class 1-A. Let alone what her quirk or true meta power was.
She then waves her hands and chants a spell before a portal opens. Midnight agrees with the girl's suggestion, and states that the match will be to a knockout. Saphentite then turns into a magic carpet and lets Midnight ride her to watch over the rest.
Eyes were wide at what the Saphentite girl could do. With some others again having perverted looks at the thought of riding Saphentite. In more than one way. Which a few vocalize and get smacked for their statements. "So… she's a genie. Like literally she's a genie?!" Kinoko says with excitement. This makes the rest wonder what else could appear in this strange other version of their world.
With the two young heroes in position, Izuku goes into Full cowling 100% and circulating his kinetic healing at the same time. "Well this is a strange stage, out in these mountains. But it is still the final match. If both competitors are ready!... BEGIN!" Midnight calls out and the battle between the two begins.
"Did that say kinetic healing? What does that mean? He still calls his power up full cowling?" A few students mention. With Izuku and All Might realizing that this version of Izuku has this kinetic power up and OFA. Nezu comes much to the same conclusion but decides to answer the teens. "Likely, that version of Midoriya has the power to absorb kinetic energy. And use it in a variety of ways. From the healing we've seen, to his strength boosts….. and possibly more." With that last statement, the rest watch and wonder about what other powers Izuku could have.
They start with a mix of blows against one another. Most having a hard time telling where one hit starts and ends. This continues for about 2 minutes before Izuku decides to get some distance. As Jotaro is rushing in to tackle him, Izuku unleashes a "Kansas City SMASH!" and hard chops the top of Jotaro's head. The blow sends the taller boy careening to the ground.
Izuku hums before writing down the name of the special move, with All Might thinking he should have come up with a few of these attacks back when he was active. "Why is it a chop though?" Sato asks with a scratch of his head. Pony speaks up by saying, "the city is split between two states. So I guess the idea is it is cleaved in two?" A few others nod before wondering about the Kansas Smash. All Might then mentions, "the state is in the middle of Tornado alley. Those storms were some of the basis for my Texas and Oklahoma Smashes. Guess that young Midoriya went with a similar thought process."
When he gets up, he shakes his head before saying, "Yeah, that one hurt." Shocking the audience that is watching the events. They had seen earlier that Jotaro was invulnerable, so to hear this was astonishing.
The rest of the audience is also shocked. As they believed that this Svoboda character would be an equal to All Might. Right down to the way he carried himself to inspire others. 'Though he's a bit more blunt and less jovial compared to All Might.' Aizawa thinks while watching the fight.
Izuku follows this up with a "Kansas SMASH" and then a "Detroit SMASH" to send Jotaro flying around the area. After that, Jotaro regains his composure and unleashes a powerful thunderclap to throw off Izuku's follow up. From there, Jotaro gets in and hits Izuku with as many powerful hits as he can muster. This does break a few of Izuku's bones, but since he is focusing on healing with his kinetic meta powers he recovers quickly.
'I really can't hold back. I'll try and get some distance again, before unleashing that.' Izuku thinks to himself, before kicking Jotaro back and using a "Delaware SMASH" to shockwave push him back across the rocks. Izuku then crosses his arms and fires out tendrils of black energy.
"I think I might have gone numb to all the insane. Did that version of Midoriya just launch energy…. Things out of his arms?!" Shoji says with a blue shadow over his eyes. The rest confirm that he wasn't dreaming and they also saw another new power. Nezu meanwhile is excited for what could happen next in the battle.
"HUH!? What the?!" Jotaro says as the energy wraps around him. Izuku then takes this moment to spin Jotaro around and around, smashing him into some of the rocks before throwing him a distance.
"What the heck is that?! That kid had that lying in wait!? Why didn't he use that earlier?! He probably figured that it would come down to the two of them, and he wanted to make sure he could have it as a surprise." Most of the audience and students were saying. Katsuki on the other hand is incredibly livid. 'Not only did he not have to put out everything against me, but he had another power waiting and he didn't have to use it against me! Am I really that weak compared to him!? Were the main thoughts running through his mind.
Bakugo grits his teeth before saying, "hate to say it but this version could probably beat me easy." Izuku agrees before wondering if the tendril power was from his true meta power. 'Or does it have something to do with OFA?' All Might thinks much the same before deciding to do some research.
Back in the fight, Jotaro is shaking his head again as Izuku used the tendrils to pick up loose boulders from around the area and throw them at Jotaro. The taller boy grits his teeth, before planting his feet and unleash a barrage of super-fast blows. This pulverizes the boulders, and he catches Izuku as he rushed in after the boulders were destroyed.
With his opponent caught, Jotaro slams him against the ground a few times before Izuku frees himself. Both continue this pattern of strikes and counter strikes for at least 15 minutes. While Midnight wants to call the match after that time, she stops when she sees the look on both of their faces. They are both exhausted, Jotaro having actually taken some damage and was breathing heavily and Izuku while healing isn't healing as fast as he was before. But neither of them is willing to stop. So, with a resigned sigh and a nod, Midnight allows the match to continue.
Midnight is worried but she agrees with her other self. "I may want to stop this, but my other self probably knows they wouldn't stop." Aizawa agrees before muttering, "two problem children." The teens though are wondering who will stand tall at the end of the fight.
'I think we're both almost done. I don't think I can unleash anymore really strong hits. And he's running out of steam too. But there is still one last advantage I have.' Jotaro thinks while standing up again. Izuku has been thinking much the same, and both decide to lay everything out with one last attack. They both rush in and combo and block each other's initial attacks. After striking each other's heads, they reel back a bit before gritting their teeth and tightening their fists for one last hit.
"Oh man this feels like that fight All Might had with that big villain in Kamino ward! Well a bit smaller scale but the nervous feeling is accurate. Who's got the best chance to win!?" most of the students trade statements like this. Bakugo though expects Izuku to win. "We've been stroking Deku's ego this whole time. Why would it change now?" But Nezu has a different suspicion.
When they throw their last punches the strike each other in the face with such an impact, it cracks the ground. The hit even breaks Jotaro's sunglasses. They both fall on their backs, seemingly unconscious. Midnight and Saphentite fly down to check them, and see the state they are in. "Both are unconscious. So, whoever can stand up first and speak will be declared the winner!" Midnight exclaims as the cameras focus in on the pair.
The audience watches with anticipation and trepidation. Who knows which of these two powerful students will stand first. Who knows what will happen when they do. Suddenly, they notice a twitch from one and many in 1-A gasp in joy. Izuku has started to move first and drags himself up to stand. Once he stands, he takes his stance ready for the next blow. But he doesn't say anything.
Bakugo snorts before saying "what did I tell you?" Ochaco, Ida and Todoroki though are celebrating Izuku's victory against an opponent they saw as a near equal to All Might. Izuku, Mirio and the teachers though know something is up, and can see who really won.
Then they hear a grunt from Jotaro, who has also started to stand manages to get up and say, "Good fight pal. You pushed me plenty hard." With that statement Midnight declares Jotaro the winner. "But Izuku stood up first! Shouldn't he be the winner!?" Ochaco calls out, and Jotaro signals a camera to come down. At a close up of Izuku's face they can all see it. He passed out fully while standing up. And the screen fades to black.
Most of the teens in the audience are shocked, but Mirio nods before speaking his mind. "That guy, Jotaro, he was taller than Midoriya by at least a head. Heck I'm pretty sure he was taller than me. With that, he had a greater reach in that last attack." "Well said young Togata. Svoboda could strike and rattle Midoriya's brain before the boy could get a clean hit in. But he should still be commended. His will to fight was strong enough that he stood to be ready to fight again." All Might said with some pride in his other world successor.
Mineta though decides to play off of something Monoma had said. "Seriously though Bakugo. Do you ever get tired of being wrong?" the purple teen says with a shit eating grin. He gets blasted back once before Sero, Sato, Aizawa, Todoroki and Izuku have to restrain the rampaging chihuahua.
The screen then lights up again, and this time a familiar scene is shown. A series of green mountains with mists swirling around them. Atop one peak is a Chinese palace with a jade green roof. And the back of a panda is seen after a cut. This gets all of the students who had counterparts excited for the next adventure with their kung fu animal selves.
This was an insanely long one due to wanting to include plenty of fight scenes from my other fics. And while I wanted to include one from God Slayer, it would require a lot of exposition. So hope you all didn't mind and found some of them entertaining. But next time we'll be getting back to an old favorit. Please review.
