Chapter 18

God Slayer's Might

This is one of the suggestions a reviewer asked for. And I've already written a whole story where Izuku becomes a Campione, so I have plenty to pull from. Despite so many people complaining about the first chapters. Though I won't deny they aren't my best work, the story picks up once I get past the first few chapters/episodes of the anime. Especially with the addition of a few new characters for Izuku to fight. Some of which will be explained here. So, on with the show.

As the audience filed back in, many of the members wondered who that person Izuku had met was. "Dude looked manly as hell though. With as ripped as he is and those badass tattoos." Tetsutetsu said while passing a soda to Kirishima. The hardening hero agreed while asking what Izuku's role would be in this story.

"Maybe that version of Izuku will be helping protect something unusual. Like a Polynesian island or something?" Momo and Ida pondered out loud. With Bakugo wondering how he would compare or what he would be doing in this world as well. And his answers would be given as the screen lit up again.

The first thing shown was Izuku with a shocked looked on his face. And a spear or harpoon sticking out of his body. The green haired teen let out a strangled cry as his blood splattered over the beach he was standing on.

"MIDORIYA! DEKU! IZUKU!" everyone shouts as they see another version of their classmate, underclassman, student, friend etc. stabbed in the chest by some unknown assailant. Some even unconsciously activate their quirks while looking for whoever hurt him. Izuku meanwhile is just wonder what mess he got himself into, while rubbing the area that had been stabbed. Though Mirio hides Eri's eyes before Nejire offers to take her outside.

The spear was pulled out of his body and back towards a man standing atop a large Viking esque ship. With someone over his shoulder. Ashido Mina. Tied up and terrified by what the man had threatened earlier. "If you pass this day young hero, know that you fell to the blade and might of the god of these seas; Njord!" the red haired man said while walking back onto his ship.

This not only gets eyes wide, but Shiozaki Ibarra drops to her knees to pray that the other version of Izuku is saved from the "blasphemous gods assailing him". While the rest are shocked at the idea that gods actually existed. "At least in that world they do." Mineta says while nervously chuckling.

Quite a few though are worried for Mina as she appeared to have been kidnapped for some purpose. With All Might, Midnight, and Nezu paling at what they suspected the purpose to be.

'This has been one strange year.' Part of Izuku's mind thought, while the boy himself was trying to drag himself towards the ship to save Mina. With that thought, Izuku's mind drifted to what he thought started everything. Meeting All Might and asking him a major question. "Could someone be a hero without a quirk?"

Hearing that statement makes Izuku and All Might wince. While a few others wonder if this was what their own version may have gone through in their world. With Bakugo realizing this was when he had been captured by that slime villain.

At the time, I had met All Might and asked him this after learning of his injury and weakened state. Maybe that was what led him to saying something painful and crippling to a quirkless person like me. "So, no I don't think you can be a hero without a quirk. It's good to dream young man, but you need to be realistic."

Ida looks down before saying, "while it…. May be a bit harsh. I don't think All Might was exactly wrong. There are too many cases where you would need a quirk to fight back against some villains." A few others from the hero course look down as they agree even if just in their minds. With Mirio feeling especially guilty given he fought without his quirk for a time as well. But he still thought you couldn't be a hero without a quirk.

Momo though interjects with a different thought. "What about maybe…. Building or making items that could let you fight on the same level of some quirks… In those cases, that might be better. After all a quirk does have physical drawbacks more often than not. Look at Midoriya's or even yours and mine." This makes a few consider it and they do see the girl's point. With even Bakugo slightly agreeing with her. "They'd probably be better for dealing with weaker villains. But they probably could."

That statement hurt more than I thought it would and led me to just stay atop that roof for a time. Contemplating if I should take Kaa—no. Katsuki's advice and leap off the building. Hoping for a quirk in my next life.

At hearing this other version of Izuku think this, eyes are wide and some start to tear up at hearing that. With some going to the two people involved noticing them wincing and putting two and two together. Hugging or trying to reassure Izuku. And some punching or similarly attacking Katsuki.

And the explosive blonde doesn't resist or retort afterwards. When asked he just said, "because I know I deserve some of it for the complete ass that I was….. still kind of am. And for what I said…. Even if…. I didn't really mean it at the time." Some want to question that, but they move past as they see the scene change.

I pushed past that though and eventually made my way back home. Only for my mom to come and hug me while saying she was sorry. When I asked what she was talking about, she brought me to the living room to see the report on tv. Katsuki had gotten involved in a villain attack. And almost died.

Bakugo just lets out a bitter laugh before saying, "that is probably a huge assload of karma for him, me, and who knows how many other versions of us across the universes." While most don't agree out loud, they do wonder if that is the case for what happened in this universe.

The sludge like villain was one that had attacked me earlier and All Might had defeated. But when I grabbed onto All Might's leg as he was leaping, I must have knocked the bottles holding the villain out. Leading it to escape and capture Katsuki as a cloak to hide in and hostage.

"Oh yeah that's right. You were only famous at first for being captured by that guy." Kaminari says with a snort. And a few others remember the jokes and annoyance of their classmate at only being remembered for that at the time. Now though, they were more worried about what changed.

All Might eventually intervened… but it was too late. The villain had done enough damage to him and almost killed Katsuki. All Might's attack had defeated the villain, but Katsuki had been cut off from air long enough that he wasn't waking up. He was stuck in a coma. Still is now that I think about it.

Bakugo lets out another humorless chuckle before noting the karma once again. With a few gulping at the results and vegetable status of their classmate in a different dimension. All Might himself looking even more dead inside at thinking how his other self failed so spectacularly. Not just with Bakugo, but Izuku as well. Nezu and Aizawa though hope that their other versions suggested that Izuku meet with Hound Dog.

I was stuck in a deep depression afterwards. Barely registering when my dad came back to try and help me out of this funk, I was in. He suggested that we take a vacation. Away from the heroes and battles that had been happening in Japan. I only agreed at the time to make my parents feel a bit better.

A few from class 1-A look like they want to try and bring up their friend's spirit. Some even vocalize it. But they then get knocked down by the fact that they don't even really know this other version of Izuku.

While the green teen in question can understand his other self's anguish. "Living with the fact that I may have had a hand in putting someone in a coma? Let alone everything else? I'm surprised the other me didn't go over the edge after that." This just makes a few of his classmates hug him tighter or try to reassure him again.

We took a river cruise in China, going up the Yangshuo and exploring a town. It was there that I happened upon a world I never would have believed existed. Some sort of storm kicked up and people were told to evacuate. Though some had been trapped and I tried to help a few stuck in the rubble.

Ochaco sniffed a bit before saying, "even without a quirk, you still have it in you to be a hero." A few others from the Deku squad agreed with Ida chopping rapidly while praising the other Izuku. And Shoto giving him a thumbs up at his other self's courage.

It was then that I saw a strange man with tribal tattoos and long black hair looking up at what I assumed was a villain or something similar causing the storm. I followed his line of sight and saw a strange hawk headed man with a glaive flying above. And an attractive Chinese girl attacking said villain.

"Hello! At which part? The hot girl or the weird villain? Both." Mineta and Kosei say back and forth before getting looks from the others in the audience. Izuku hums for a moment while questioning in his mind where he'd seen that hawk headed person before.

"We need to get out of here mister! Look out!" I said and then shouted as I pushed the man to the side as a building fell towards him. He smiled at me before asking why I saved him. I didn't have a reason other to say I what my old dream was. And that I wanted to save or protect if I could.

Tetsutetsu first calls out the other Izuku as manly before bringing up a question. "Is he narrating or like flashing back or something?" Juzo hums before saying, "it could be that his life is flashing before his eyes or something like that." "Well he probably died or nearly died due to that Nord or Njord guy." Tokage says with a shrug.

He nodded before passing a stone tablet to me. Suddenly the girl who was attacking the villain was blasted back and I ran to catch her. I couldn't understand her at first, but she eventually switched to Japanese to talk to me. Introducing herself as Xeimei Sun, a mage with an organization there in China. And to explain that the two I had seen were gods.

"Okay she's hot, but I'm a little more concerned about that god bit!" Mineta is the first to say. The rest of the class agrees with eyebrows raised. Izuku meanwhile snaps his fingers before he says, "oh that's why I thought he looked familiar. He's a hero god!" The others in the audience give him a look, and Izuku explains he ended up on a wikipedia rabbit hole with heroes.

"There's been a rumor going about that a tournament of mythical heroes has been happening every few decades. Each time it causes massive damage. Apparently its because the gods are all disgusted by the so-called heroes of the current age. Seeing them as fake or undeserved of the title, let alone having an extreme disgust for quirks in general." I wouldn't find out about why that was until much later. But after learning the truth… I can see there point and agree.

Hearing his other self say that Izuku was shocked. As were most of audience. "That version of Deku….. doesn't see heroes as heroes?" Ochaco questioned first with hands next to her mouth. Others from the students also thought it was weird how he looked at the matter and what that other version said.

"I'm not sure about young Midoriya. But I think I can guess those Gods' reasons for not seeing we heroes as heroes." Nezu says with a scratch of his chin. He explains that many of the heroes in myth and legend earn the title by facing impossible challenges and battles. "Often of epic proportions. So, all of us who have the title essentially given to us… probably seem like we're insulting what it means to truly be a hero." Hearing that stuns the students, while Mic, Midnight, and Aizawa agree with the principal. Noting that news reports and talks shows don't show the real weight of the masks and capes.

The god I met Maui, lent me a tablet of Prometheus and it had details of where the next tournament would take place. While Xeimei had told me to hand it over, I refused. And instead bargained to go with her to stop the battle. And I was more determined to do so after seeing the damage their battles had wrought on a few villages near the site of the tournament.

Seeing the devastation wrought by the Gods and their battles, many of the students wished they could leap in to try and save some of the people in the wrecked villages. A few others though were wondering what Izuku had in mind to try and stop the gods. With Momo, Juzo, and Ida putting together ideas on what the tablet of Prometheus could do.

With Juzo concluding first. "He might be able to steal a power or something from the Gods with that! Maybe all of them!" Hearing this makes quite a few excited for Izuku to defeat the Gods by depowering them. With Monoma bragging up his classmate again.

After some bargaining with Maui for a fast wind to move me, I interrupted the tournament. With the gods calling me heroic at heart, before pointing their weapons my way. But I used the wind to distract them, before using the power of the tablet to steal a power from the hawk god Horus. A glaive that had the potential to sever divinity.

"Why the Hell didn't you take all the powers Deku!?" Bakugo roars at seeing the other version steal only one power. But he is calmed when Kirishima notes what the other Izuku had said. "That tablet can only steal one power. So he had to chose the best option."

Bakugo's eyes widen a bit before he thinks on what the other Izuku said. And agrees with his red-haired friend. "You were right, and I was wrong. Or rather I missed that." Hearing Bakugo admit he was wrong made many from class 1-A freak out and wonder if the world was coming to an end. Only for Bakugo to explode at them afterwards.

Unfortunately, I didn't know how to use it at first. Asking Xeimei what she knew as the rest of the gods were shaking off the shockwave and a bit of shock. Xeimei blushed as she looked at me, before kissing me and pouring the knowledge of how to use the weapon. As well as the variety of gods gathered to stop the tournament.

With the first point they could see that Izuku was fading, almost falling apart. "Is he….. trying for a heroic suicide?" Reiko questions with her eyes wide in worry. The rest of the audience wonders this as well. Thinking that the other Izuku was wanting to die for what happened to Bakugo. But seeing the second part makes quite a few blush with some calling wolf whistling and hooting at Izuku making out with an attractive girl. Their version though was blushing bright until he saw what looked like magic surround his other self. Putting together what he would be doing.

And with that, I was ready. I summoned the blade before rushing at three deities in particular. Horus being the first; second I sliced the Greek hero Herakles in half, and finished by running a Mayan hero Xbalanque through. Doing so though, cost me my own life. Which I felt eb away while resting my head on Xeimei's lap. While the gods I defeated congratulated me, saying they passed something to me.

Seeing the other Izuku cut down three gods in rapid succession makes the audience cheer while congratulating him. But hearing that he was still dying brought them all down before a few tears were shed. Izuku himself nodding that his other self still proved to be a hero without a quirk. While the teacher each saluted the brave other Midoriya.

On the other side, I learned what that was. Because of the strange pink purple haired….. woman? Girl? Over there. "Well done. You have proven that you deserve the right born of myself and Epimetheus. And now you will be reborn as my newest child. I am the all giving mother Pandora. And you my newest son will be reborn as a Campione."

"Wait, child? What the heck? Pandora? What does she have to do with this? Who's Epimetheus?" All the members of the audience question as the screen shifts again. Even Nezu can't surmise what will become of the other Izuku based on those words.

I woke up a day or so later with Xeimei by my side. And calling me her king as she hugged me. It was a little after that I would begin to understand what she meant. By my killing of a god, I had taken the right to rule over the world. Becoming more powerful and capable than virtually anyone with a quirk. Only having three others who could counter my orders and will in this world.

At hearing that the other version of Izuku basically ruled the world, eyes were so wide they almost overshadowed everyone's faces. With all of the teachers' jaws dropped. Let alone the fact that his power surpassed any quirk. And that there were only three others who could oppose him. "What the Hell is with this other world?!" Bakugo shouts while twisting his head sideways.

I would use my new authorities to prove I could be a hero. Namely through the use of the Strength of Herakles and Nemean Hide to be as strong and durable as All Might. Proven by me throwing a Zero point robot… out of the atmosphere.

Multiple spit takes were blasted out at hearing Izuku's strength feat. Toshinori thinks it over himself before saying, "it's likely he's even stronger than that! One of Hercules's feats was holding up the sky to replace Atlas in myth. But back then that might have just implied the Greek skies. If that young Midoriya would think about it… he could likely hold up the skies of the entire Earth!"

Nezu himself calculates the power potential and notes that his colleague was likely correct. Noting that the other Izuku may not even know he can do that. "So he's limiting himself. Let alone what the powers or authorities he gained from the other gods gave him."

Before I really even got to enjoy my life as a hero student though, I was brought in to deal with one of the major things we Campione are asked to deal with. Rogue Gods and the effects they have on the world.

Hearing that had eyes wide again. While also wondering how and what these Gods could do to people in their world. Especially if they disliked quirks and those who used them.

In this case, there had been a string of murders of people with quirks. The most common element being that all of the victims had horns or strange skin coloring due to quirks. And what I found was a terrifying foe. Momotaro himself killing those with quirks, due to viewing them as oni. One such victim of his crusade, being Mina herself. The screen then shows Mina being slashed from behind by Momotaro. The young hero god being shown in the evening sun. His animal compatriots beside him.

While some of the students noted that Momotaro was discriminating, Nezu shook his head before saying it wouldn't matter. "He's not human… meaning the laws and our perceptions don't apply to him. To him this is nothing more than his duty as the hero he was in myth."

Upon seeing Mina being injured, many of the girls from 1-A rush to her side and hold her tight. As if she would expire or be kidnapped at a moment's notice. Said girl though felt a pang of self-depreciation at hearing Momotaro call her an oni. While Kirishima hardened his hand while wishing to punch the hero god in the face.

I was lucky to have finally noticed him and stepped in to save her. Xeimei later used healing magics….. and stiches to patch up my pink classmate's back. The cut having been so deep, you could see some of the bones in her back.

At seeing what had befallen her other self, Mina suddenly felt phantom pains in her back. Gulping at hearing the screams she let out before the other version of Momo knocked her out. And her classmates held her close again while tightening their eyes each time they heard the other Mina scream.

For some of her male classmates, they each wanted to take a shot at Momotaro. Until Nezu noted that they would likely all fall to the God. With Toshinori commenting, "that Campione Midoriya said it himself: only they can fight the Rogue Gods. Most anyone else probably stands little chance." Aizawa gritted his teeth while hearing the screams of his student, but he couldn't disagree with All Might. Given his own quirk would be useless and the God likely had enough speed and power to overpower most with a quirk.

I defeated Momotaro and gained something new for it. But things wouldn't settle down after that. Two days after training exercises with All Might and a day after I defeated Momotaro, my eldest brother appeared. The image then shows a sequence of the teachers of UA battling against a man with a cowboy hat. And all of them being stomped into the ground as if they were nothing.

Hearing and seeing that the other Izuku defeated Momotaro, the whole audience cheered. With Mina saying a quiet thank you to the other version for saving her and getting some payback for her injury.

But upon seeing the next threat, all of the hero students weren't too worried. Thinking that their teachers could handle the cowboy hat wearing man. Only to be shocked and terrified at how easily he bested and crushed everyone of the teachers. Save Nezu. Who himself was wishing he could help, while also acknowledging he could do nothing against this strange man.

Well I guess that is a bit misleading. The man in question is the oldest Campione: Master Samson Jonathan Fredrickson. Even All Might was little more than an annoyance to him. "DETROIT! SMASH!" All Might shouted as he barreled toward Jonathan. Who was still standing atop Midnight with a string of Magatama wrapped around her neck. "Not a bad hit. But it isn't enough." Jonathan said as the man casually had put up a shield to stop the blow. He then sent All Might flying into the air, and with a snap of his fingers sent the man to a different plane of existence.

When the audience saw how casually Jonathan delt with All Might, a few just fainted. With Bakugo gulping and wondering if the other version of Izuku would be like that some day. Speaking of, the observing Izuku was shocked by the capabilities of this other Campione. 'Wonder how many powers or authorities he has. Not to mention what his quirk is.'

It was a little after this that Master Jonathan, or aniki as I took to calling him later explained what he was doing there. He wanted to teach me more about what it meant to be a Campione. Not to mention the fact that he knew the true root of quirks. Given he was alive before they were a thing.

For the lessons thought he often demonstrated things in very excessive ways. Such as using the Campione right to order others around to make Kirishima smash his head into a wall repeatedly or making Yaoyorozu strip down. And no one could stop her.

Hearing that Jonathan predated quirks by a few decades made everyone's jaw drop. With Nezu gulping in wonder at what it was that started the quirk phenomenon back in the man's youth. "How is this guy still alive?! It might be something to do with Campione….. Perhaps, they're immortal? They take the powers of Gods right? Let alone killing them, which should be impossible. So doesn't that mean that version of Midoriya is immortal too?" The students and teachers question in circles, while still trying to wrap their head around the insanity before them.

"He's insane." Itsuka says with a slightly terrified look at what that man was making her rival classmates do. With Momo blushing bright while wishing someone would stop her other self. Mineta and the others pervs though are enjoying what could come. Only for the boy to note that Jonathan knocked his other self out, and the other Izuku stopped Momo before she was naked. "He is not gentle with the way he does things." Midnight note while feeling an unusual pleasurable shiver go down her spine at the look Jonathan was giving.

Or…. The crazy fight he dragged me and later Xeimei into. Jonathan was shown smirking at the teens while twirling a sword he was carrying. And then stabbing it directly into his stomach. Making massive amounts of blood burst from him.

Seeing the man do that, made quite a few need to find trash cans. Or some just used their empty popcorn buckets. Coughing while Kinoko says, "yep. He's definitely insane." With a few others wondering if Campione were suicidal.

Jonathan then smiled at Izuku as a massive windstorm kicked up. And once the wind cleared, Jonathan was replaced by a large jade green and pink feathered serpent glaring down at him. With the beast demonstrating its power by defeating Nejire and Ryukyu as if the were little more than children.

Jaws dropped again and a few fainted at seeing the human replaced with a massive green serpent that demolished a top 10 hero and one of their upperclassman like it was nothing. Nezu hummed before snaping his fingers and saying, "ah I see. It's either Quetzalcoatl or perhaps the Mayan version. This man is quite impressive if he stood up to and defeated something like that." His staff though just looked at their boss as if he had a screw loose like Jonathan likely did.

It took not just my strength but accepting that Xeimei could stand with me as a knight, a mage, a friend, and more. To finally defeat my brother. The screen then shows Izuku kissing Xeimei as Jonathan loomed nearby. But after a flash of light, the pair emerged and knocked Jonathan down. With Xeimei gaining dog like features and another blade and armor to fight at the same level as a Campione.

Many gave Izuku some joking ribbing about making out with the replacement for Bakugo in this universe. But their jokes stopped when they saw the girl transform and gain some new strength or power. Izuku though puts it together on what happened. "It's Momotaro's animal companions! The other me must be able to pass or strengthen others with that!"

"I would agree with you young Midoriya. But it seems like your other self has to accept or fully acknowledge them as a partner or something like that." Nezu says while scratching his chin. With Aizawa noting how it was like a few quirks that could slightly empower people in their world. "This one is just up to godly levels." Mic jokes while picking his glasses back up.

The pair stared down the massive serpent form of Jonathan, before both sides rushed forward. Izuku and Xeimei timing their attack to avoid Jonathan's spirit wind breath and leaving massive cuts along the side of the serpent. With Izuku cutting off two of the wings of the creature.

Seeing Izuku and his partner badly injure the madman from their perspective had all the members of the audience cheering and congratulating Izuku. Nezu congratulates Izuku as well before saying, "but you and the rest shouldn't be to sure it is over." "He's right. Don't forget how old this man is and how many powerful opponents he has fought." Toshinori says with a look directed at the screen.

Though aniki still had much to teach me. This was proven on the screen as the building the serpent had crashed through exploded out. And a badly injured Master Jonathan walked out as well. Missing an arm, and with multiple cuts and rebar sticking out of his body. But the man was smiling, even laughing a bit as he stood.

Seeing this made many want to vomit again. Especially at hearing the mad man laugh while bleeding out and sans one arm. "I gotta wonder just how crazy these Campione are." Sen says with a blue shade over his eyes.

Using his remaining arm, Jonathan removed the rebar and other pieces stuck in his body. Before charging up his magic again and instantly regenerating from all the injuries. Even the severed arm was restored. He then disappeared.

"Well done. You've figured out how to use your new authority and how to better handle immense threats. But word of advice…." Jonathan says behind Izuku and Xeimei. With a sword at both of their necks and other bindings holding them in place. They both have panicked looks on their faces and are sure that he is going to cut them down. The man smiles at both of them before saying, "don't give your enemy a chance to recover."

Seeing Jonathan almost instantly restore himself to full, made a few from 1-A think back to the Nomu and it's hyper regeneration. Let alone the greater threat of said creature. But seeing Jonathan disappear made them even more nervous.

And that was paid off by seeing the man somehow restrain the two hero members in that world. And basically have them dead to rights. Bakugo lets out a nervous chuckle before saying, "I can at least agree with him on not letting your enemy recover. Look where that got the other Deku." Izuku nods while being nervous for whatever this old warrior had in store for him and the others.

He released us after but then he decided to get even more extreme to teach not just me but everyone else in both classes. Namely…. By dropping all of us in Vanaheim to face off with mythical threats and monsters! Let alone learning how to survive!

"Oh great! Not only do our other selves have to deal with magic! Now they're stuck in a world with more monsters than normal. All because this idiot still wants to be a her guck!" Monoma starts in before both Tetstutetsu and Itsuka knock him out. "Not manly dude. It's not Midoriya's fault that other guy is a bit crazy."

"You aren't going to call that Jonathan guy 'not manly' Tetsu?" Yui asks while looking toward her classmate. He shakes his head before he (and Kirishima) note that the guy is just a more extreme version of their own teacher to a point. "He wants to make sure we know what we're getting involved with. And what might be a threat in the future. He's extreme, but its from a good point."

Many of the students are surprised by the pairs insight, and Aizawa agrees with them. Noting that, "it may be against irrational or illogical opponents, but that is a decent point for why he does these things."

And thus we come back to now. Where the Norse god of the seas, Njord had kidnapped Mina. Despite the gods generally disliking those with quirks, he had threatened to violate her. And due to his status as a god, she wouldn't be able to refuse.

"Oh god! MINA! NO!" Many from 1-A shout while Mina herself is wondering what else she was going to get thrown into in this universe.

After healing (thanks to Yaoyorozu and Sero) and a few nightmares, I woke and was about to go after the bastard any way I could. (POV shift here. Felt like having Izuku have a life flash before his eyes moment would get through the base story.)

"He really did a number on you didn't he?" Izuku hears from behind him. He turns to see Tetsutetsu standing there with a smirk on his face. And with a frustrated sigh he just says, "I'm not in the best mood right now Tetsutetsu. Just go back to sleep."

Tetsutetsu looks at the other him before saying, "I wouldn't say that….. unless?" Izuku looks to the teen before putting together what could possibly be happening.

"Yeah Tetsutetsu's not in right now. Can I take a message?" When Izuku hears that his eyes widen. He turns back again and sees that the iron body boy is standing in the same way he'd seen Jonathan stand before. Same smirk and tilt to his head. "Aniki? But….. how?" "It a mix of tricks. Fun thing we Campione can do, we can actually astral project our souls. And with me having an authority related to Psyche, I can use that to possess certain people." Jonathan says before sitting down.

Jaws were again on the ground, while thinking that Jonathan was like another version of AFO. "Though him predating the man, I wonder if the two ever came into conflict?" Toshinori asks while taking a sip. The screen then quickly shows that Jonathan had indeed met AFO. And demolished his entire army of 10,000 enhanced quirk warriors and the man himself. With the defeat of AFO taking less than five minutes.

While watching that, many were sickened again at how the man seemed to enjoy tormenting those who got in his way. Let alone some of the brutal methods to kill the villains. Before AFO himself seeming like little more than an annoying child to the titan. Culminated with a view of some of the tortures Jonathan subjected AFO to. Including cutting his penis and testicles off slowly with a burning sword. Making all of the men in the audience cover their own manhood while wincing at the screams the villain let out.

"Note to self: Never! EVER! Cross that man!" Mic says slightly jokingly while also rocking while holding his crotch. The entirety of the audience agrees, with the women noting that the man was just a brutal with female opponents. "I'm not sure whether that speaks to some respect he has or if its disrespect." Itsuka says while shivering.

Jonathan stopped Izuku from going off half cocked to fight a god that basically left him for dead. He walked through what he knew of Njord while advising Izuku on a few other matters involving his authorities. And while Izuku still wanted to go after the God, he took his brother's advice to sleep and recuperate. So he could save Mina before it was too late.

"Oh right. While we were questioning what happened in the past we forgot about the fact that Ashido is being held by a god that wants to rape her like Medusa." Shoto says bluntly while the screen shifts. And a few others give him a look to say he was being way too blunt.

Speaking of, she was dealing with her own set of terrors on board the ship Skíðblaðnir. First with trying to rationalize with the God, then attempting to leap over the side. But the deity of the seas rose up a wall of water to stop her. And then slashed off her costume with his harpoon.

More cries of worry for Mina were let out, and some others powered up or activated their quirks in anger at the Norse God's actions. With Mina shivering in fear at what was happening.

Mina was sure he would just take her on the deck right then and there. Especially as he felt up the scar from Momotaro's attack. To her surprise though, Njord covered her before sealing her in what was likely his quarters. "You need not worry for now. I told that young Campione that I would take you as my own in two days. If he does not show up in that time….. then I will follow through on my word."

The audience was shocked again, with Ida calling the God, "strangely honorable." Vlad hums before saying, "it's probably more that he's looking forward to the fight with Midoriya. More than…. Well you know. No offense Ashi- you know what I'm just gonna stop." Midnight gives the man a look to say he wasn't helping. While Ashido isn't sure what to think of the 1-B teacher's attempt to bring up her spirits.

When Izuku was ready, he unfurled the wings born of vengeance from Horus. And took off to find the ship. It didn't take him long to find it, and rather than fight Njord right away he focused on getting Mina away from the battle about to happen.

A quiet string of 'yes's ring out in the audience with Aizawa complimenting Izuku on trying to remove the civilian in this case. Though Mina takes some slight offense to that statement. Noting in her mind that she was a hero student too.

As she is rowing away from the fight between the God and God Slayer, she hears them arguing on why Izuku wanted to save her. "Do you just want that woman all for yourself? To indulge in a more exotic type of female?" Njord shouts up at Izuku from the deck of his ship again.

This gets more of the audience incised at Njord, while Mina is having some self-depreciating thoughts again. But it is Izuku who brings her out of that. "Don't worry Ashido. I know that isn't why I'd be doing this. And even though a lot of things are different, I know my other self is thinking much the same." Izuku says before nodding back to the screen. With Mina looking on intently to see if Izuku was correct.

Mina feels a bit depreciated at the god referring to her in that way, and she suspects that it might be part of the reason Izuku is fighting for her. 'Or he doesn't even care and just wants to win. Like Jonathan.' Mina thinks while trying to row away. But she stops when she hears Izuku's reply.

"It has nothing to do with how she looks or the fact she is a girl! Even if she was a man or boy, I'd still try to save her. I didn't want to save her to be some kind of white knight. You took my friend from captive, you attacked me, and threatened her while you held her. That is all more than enough reason to fight and stop you for me!"

He then says he wants to save her because she is his friend and that to know more about her. And he doesn't want her to fear what he is or what is out there. "BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HERO!" Izuku roars before slicing through the watery shield Njord was protecting himself with. And cutting the man's right arm off.

Mina feels a bit bad at her other self doubting Izuku that way. But also knows she has a point. But hearing that the other Izuku wasn't doing this for some superficial reason. Or just to play some kind of white knight game at being her hero. But he did it because she needed help and that he wanted to know more about her… she could imagine her other self blushing. Just as she was now.

"Badass moment there Midoriya. And a good way to go about this." Mirio says with a pat to the green teen's back. Izuku nods to his senpai while looking to Mina again. She nods before saying, "I get the feeling the other me might be inspired to do something stupid after that Midori~."

With hearing that, Mina remembers more of what she hoped to become as a hero. And what inspired her as well. And she rows back toward Izuku to try and help him in some way.

Mina shrugs before gesturing to the screen with Aizawa subtly saying, "he's making more problem children. Great!"

When Njord tries to bring up more of the water to fight Izuku, he can't pull as much as he did before. As he is questioning this, Mina leaps in and kicks the god in the head. "Wasn't sure if that would work, but I'm glad it did." Mina say while catching her breath.

Izuku asks what she did, and the acid girl smiles a bit before saying she kept pouring her acid into the water. "It may not hurt him much, but if his control is over sea water… well you just need to reduce the amount of sea water in the area." Mina says before wincing. Izuku looked down and saw the burns on Mina's hands from how much acid she put out to try and tip the scales in his favor.

"YEAH! Go Mina! Payback time jackass!" A few from class 1-A shout as Mina kicked the Rogue God in the head. But seeing the injuries she gave herself a few also winced, while praising her ingenuity in the situation.

Before Njord could retaliate against the two, Izuku quickly grabbed Mina and flew up into the sky. "I thought you'd be leaving this to me." "I did at first. But….. What you said when that Njord guy said that you were only saving me because I was exotic or whatever….. while I would like to say the fact that you would have done the same for anyone was a bit sad. I kind of understand what you meant. You will do whatever you can to save everyone, to be a hero no matter what. It's inspiring. Like All Might." Mina says before leaning her head into Izuku's chest.

Seeing how close that Mina was getting with Izuku made a few of the teens blush before teasing the pair about what could happen next. With Mina herself turning purple at the thought, while Izuku looked like a tomato. Bakugo though brought them all back by saying, "he's probably going to give Racoon Eyes a power up. Like that Magic Girl." This stops some of the teasing, while they also wonder what Mina was going to look like.

She then says, "I don't want to be afraid. Of him or Momotaro. Of Master Jonathan. And especially not you. I want to be able to stand and fight by your side." Mina then looks Izuku in the eye and kisses him. Izuku is a bit surprised, but he quickly reciprocates. 'You will never fight alone Mina. I swear this to you. And I will make sure you can fight on same level as me.' Izuku thinks before the two teens light up with up in the sky.

"Being kinda sweet on her aren't you Midoriya?" Jiro jokes while a few others also praise him for saying things like 'you will never fight alone' as a good moment of solidarity. "You may be stronger than her, but you are willing to help her stand with you." Ida says with a nod. Mina meanwhile wonders if she's going to be the dog just like that Xeimei girl.

Njord can't see what is happening, but he sets up some defense and works to move the acid away. He isn't ready though when a high-speed claw strikes him in the back. And then he gets blitzed from multiple angles. What he sees is Mina with a determined look in her yellow eyes, and a new form to show.

The tunic she was wearing had been replaced with a leotard like armored outfit. That seemed to be decorated with fur around the breasts and waist. She was wearing no shoes but had fiery looking leggings of some sort on her legs, and gauntlest on her arms that had claw like extensions coming from them. Atop her head were a pair of round monkey ears, and a short tail was coming from her backside. And instead of her usual pink hair, she now had blonde hair in a slightly spiked up fashion.

"So she's….. a monkey." Kaminari says while looking over the girl. Mineta though comments that she was hot in more than one way now. "The pink skin and everything was cool and pretty attractive. But this! It just makes her-guck dai doh!" the purple perv starts before Shoji gives him a triple punch to the top of his head.

Mina though does agree with some of what he says though. "Midori made me….. even hotter!" Izuku blushes at that while blustering that it wasn't him, but the other him. "Not only that but you seem to be so fast you Njor can't keep up with you. I'm kind of curious on what the pheasant can do." Momo says while observing the way the other Mina fights.

While Njord was distracted by the girl, Izuku swooped in and slashed the man's back with his sword. With a grunt the sea god said, "interesting. You have the power to strengthen those at your side. This battle will be more interesting than I thought." With a twirl, Njord turned his axe into a harpoon again and rushed at Mina first.

But she was on him before he knew it. She quickly kneed the man in the face, before curling into a ball and rapidly slashing at his back with her claws. When she lands, she darts around and strikes the god from multiple angles.

Mina's attack gets even more cheers from the female side of the audience. With some saying she was like that hedgehog from those old games and movies. "But pink instead of his blue! Like that girl with him." Pony said while trying to remember what the games and character were called.

Izuku focuses on finishing the fight while drawing his glaive. While it cannot sever Njord's divinity, he can use the reach to pin the god's harpoon. Before getting in close and running the warrior through with his sword. Njord grunts in pain before coughing up a bit of ichor. Mina then puts her own power in and stabs the man in the back with her claws. Izuku decides to make sure the man cannot use his harpoon and uses his glaive to slice off Njord's other arm.

Aizawa nods before noting that the God Slayer was learning. "You took that lesson Jonathan gave you about making sure the enemy was defeated to heart. And made sure Njord couldn't use his other arm to pull some other trick." Bakugo approves as well, noting that both Izuku and Mina fought like he would. "You didn't let up on the guy. And made sure he couldn't recover."

The Norse god of the sea can feel his life ebbing away and chooses to accept the defeat with honor and grace. "Valhalla awaits me for this battle. You fought well god slayer. You and the girl. Take care of my ship. Skíðblaðnir will serve you well. As will a little something else I'm sure you will inherit from me. Take care." With that said from Njord, the god fades into nothingness and both teens feel like they can relax. Suddenly the ship shudders and shrinks down under the two.

After trying a few things, Izuku gets the ship to transform into a replica of the Okie Mariner. Mina looks around before jokingly saying, "really? You have a magical ship and the first thing you turn it into is a copy of a hero ship?" "It was the first thing I could think of!" Izuku defends before commanding the ship to take them back to the beach they were staying at.

While a few chuckle at Mina's teasing, a recently reawakened Mineta notes something else. "Wait a second. Doesn't that mean Midoriya basically has party boat whenever he wants thanks to that authority or whatever!?" A few think on the matter for a second before realizing he has a point. With Tsuyu wondering what else the ship could turn into or do.

While they are sailing, Izuku checks on Mina to make sure she was really all right. "I'm fine Izuku. Though I gotta admit, this whole magic thing… its kind of a rush when it isn't terrifying me." Both teens get a laugh at that and decide to explore the ship a bit more. When they find what they assume to be the captain's quarters, Mina gets an even bigger laugh. The inside is decked out in all kinds of All Might themed gear. "You're a big fan of his huh?" Mina says with a huge smile. One that brightens up Izuku's mood after feeling embarrassed. He just says yeah before sitting down on the bed.

Laughs are had at Izuku's expense again, but he just shrugs and moves along. Before thinking about the fact that his other self literally has a cute girl in his room. And she had basically admitted to being his or something similar to that. And he returns to mimicking a tomato.

Mina notices this and thinks it over what he could be imagining before coming to the same conclusion. While turning purple from her blush she thinks the matter over in her mind. 'Well I mean… its not like either one is bad to look at. And their both sweet heroes….. so I guess me and my other self are probably okay with this…. Right?'

He then feels the exhaustion from the battle catch up with him and he lays down on the bed to sleep a bit. Mina decides to be a bit playful and lays next to him. She doesn't expect what happens next though. Izuku wraps his arm around her shoulders and pulls her in tight. The pink girl blushes at the action, but she makes no move to get away from him. Especially when she hears Izuku mutter in his sleep. "mutter mmmh….. I won't let anyone… don't have…. worry Mina…. not losing you." Mina blushes brighter before kissing Izuku again. "Sleep well. My king." Mina says before resting a bit herself. And the screen cuts to black.

That gets the blushes on not just the two involved but a few of the others watching the matter. While Kosei complains that they weren't getting down and dirty (which rewards him with a chop), others note that it was sweet how pulled Mina into a gentle embrace. Before teasing the girl about calling Izuku her king.

The screen the lights up to show the Furious Five meeting Tomura and a massive cannon behind the peacock villain. "I guess it's back to the usual after this. Shame. I'm kind of curious what else had happened and changed in that world. Oh man can you imagine what would happen during the Sports Festival? It'd be a stomp!" said as the students step out to clean or get new popcorn buckets.

While the teachers consider more of what threats could plague that world and its people. Given even AFO wasn't that much of a threat in comparison to this new version of Izuku.

I decided to get a bit more complex and long with this one to show off a bit more of what happens after the first few chapters of The Heroic God Slayer. Because I know, the first chapters aren't my best. So I went with getting to some of the more liked and praised moments. Please review, and don't worry. Next chapter will be getting back to KFP2.
