UA Multiverse Peek
Chapter 27
Mystic Might
This story will be a bit from some of my other stories as well as a new story idea. Though for one mystic might not be the most accurate term for it. You'll see soon enough, so on with the show.
(No POV)
As everyone was falling back into the commons room, many were wondering what new powers Izuku would be learning in the universes they were about to be introduced to. "It looked like he was channeling or empowering something." Fumikage mentioned while getting a soda from the fridge.
Reiko agreed and said, "he seemed to also have some allies that had heteromorphic appearances. Perhaps it's some sort of quirk or power like that." Nezu hummed and noted that if it was the latter it would be troubling for many. "If that young Midoriya could enhance or control those who are more animal like, it would probably bring deeper and more unsettling questions to the nature of quirks."
Izuku winced a bit while getting some popcorn with the others. Wondering if it was true in that quirks could influence people enough that they would become so animal like they could be controlled. 'Just like Koda's quirk.' His musings were cut off though when the screen lit up and the stories began.
Huntik Heroes
A four-year-old Izuku was nervously standing between Bakugo, some bullies and a young boy they had been attacking. "I won't let you hurt him Kaachan!" Izuku shakily declared. But the ash blonde scoffed before saying Izuku couldn't do anything.
"Okay this is getting a bit redundant. I think everyone gets it! I've been an ass since I was a little kid! Can we please move on!?" Bakugo shouts at the screen as the scene plays. With some raising their eyebrows while slightly agreeing. "Maybe it's because this works for a decent start for a story?" Tsuyu says with a tilt of her head.
"You're just a quirkless weakling!" he proclaimed while the other two got ready to attack. "Better quirkless than a stupid rampaging dog like you," they all hear from the opening to the park. Standing at the main gate was a young boy with blonde hair, tipped black. His green eyes carried a confidence that matched his smirk. Around his neck was a necklace that had a piece that looked like a fox with a blue gem in the center.
No one really had a comment on the new arrival. Though Pony wondered if this boy would be important to the bigger story. Nezu suspects the same and says, "perhaps this boy will introduce young Midoriya to some new path or similar to make him a hero."
He continued his taunt with, "why don't you run home pup. Think you need to be paper trained." Bakugo's cronies were laughing a bit at this while the brat himself was red faced and trying to intimidate this new boy back. But the interloper wasn't even phased by his tantrums.
"Oooooohhh!" some from class 1-A say at Bakugo getting insulted. With their version red faced at the insults thrown his other self's way. "That is a manly kid there. Not even fazed when a guy with a powerhouse quirk is staring him down!" Kirishima says with a fist pump.
To really get Bakugo's goat, the boy stretched out a bit before saying, "you're so weak it'd be really easy to beat you." And it gets the desired effect as Bakugo rockets forward to attack this new person. But it was exactly what he was counting on. As Bakugo's left came down to explode, the boy intercepted it and put a hand right on the brat's chest. "Touch Ram," is what he mutters.
Tetsutetsu agreed with Kirishima and complimented the kid for his guts. While Mineta and Kaminari took the chance to needle Bakugo for his impatience and getting himself into trouble. The blonde's teeth grinding as he sees the other him countered like it was nothing. Nezu meanwhile seems intrigued by the words the boy was saying. 'What does that have to do with hunting or whatever it is?' he questioned in his mind.
As he does, Bakugo is hit by a burst of green energy that sends him flying so hard he goes through two trees. "If you feel you've got a chance, you're more than welcome to try," he says to the other bullies. Who rapidly shake their heads before picking up Bakugo and running away.
Kaminari lets out a low whistle at seeing how the kid Bakugo was sent flying with a palm touch. "You got knocked the fuck out!" he memed with a laugh. Bakugo though is twitching in annoyance for how easy he was to beat by this interloper.
"Interesting. Those words seemed to let whoever that boy is create some kind of energy blast. Maybe a quirk that works similar to Fukashida's? No wait, he said he didn't have a quirk. Or maybe he mumble mutter," Izuku starts while trying to analyze the scene shown. But he wasn't the only one, as Nezu was considering the possibilities. Though much quieter. Momo, Juzo, and Ida were wondering what or who this new person was as well.
Once that was done, and the boy who was being attack was helped, the new interloper introduced himself. His name being Asahi Lambert, or Lambert Asahi. His father was of Irish descent and their family had only recently started living in the area.
"Oooh a foreign kid. And a tough little Irish boy. Wonder what else he can do?" some of the teens say while snacking and drinking. All Might meanwhile chuckles to himself about a capable young hero from another country. 'Let's see what else you can do or help this other young Midoriya.' All Might thinks while leaning forward.
The two boys talked for a while. Izuku venting about his sadness and frustration about not having a quirk first. Noting that it was the only way to be a hero. But Asahi had a different perspective. "What good are those things anyway? They just seem to make more like animals than they were before!"
A few students take offense to that. As does Nezu to a slight amount, but he understands a different reason behind this. "He's getting more at the fact that so many who have quirks often want to show off with them. And….. well frankly, he's not wrong that some become more animalistic thanks to their quirks. Hound Dog could probably attest to that."
He explained that he didn't have a good opinion of anyone with a quirk so far and that people were heroes long before anyone had a quirk. "I will say this; you have as much potential to be a hero as anyone. You just might….. need a little help." Asahi said before pulling out another necklace. One that had a green symmetric form with a trio of spikes from the top.
"What's with the bling?" Mina questioned with a tilt of her head. Toru asks the same and wondered if it was similar to what the boy himself had. "No the necklace this Asahi is wearing is completely different. But maybe they can act as a focus of some kind." Momo notes while looking at the items in question. And for some reason feeling a strange shiver go up her spine. One that feels like a mix of pain, pleasure, and fear.
"Keep that on you. Next time you're in trouble, concentrate on it. It might just help you out some," Asahi said with a smile. Izuku looked at the boy with skepticism but did just as he suggested. And the time to use it came sooner than he expected.
A few days later, Bakugo was still angry about getting beat and he wanted to take it out on Izuku. But someone else stood up to the brat. That being a young pink skinned and haired girl. Who was quickly struck by Bakugo in his temper tantrum.
"Oh Hell no you little brat! No cool man! Someone should really be laying down some laws with this kid!" half of the teens say. But this is when Bakugo stands up for himself a bit more.
"Hold up! Look it's true I won't hold back against any opponent. Like with Pink Cheeks during the Sports Festival. But that is in a proper fight. What this other me is doing; I'd want to give him an explosive spanking myself. He's going too far and for no real reason."
Midnight gives the boy a glare but does agree with some of what he said. Especially the difference between respecting a fighter and lashing out for a stupid reason.
Izuku panicked a bit, but his thoughts focused on two things. The first was the thought, 'I have to help her!'. And the second was toward the necklace that Asahi had given him. This causes a green aura to flow over him. And he leapt up and kick Bakugo's head into the ground so hard he out cold. He took out his bully in one shot.
"Damnnnn!" is what most of the teens say at seeing Bakugo get smacked down like he was nothing. And while he was fuming, Bakugo could respect that his other version deserved a bit of that smack down. "Though how does that exactly work? How is that necklace helping that other Midoriya fight? Oooohhh! What do you think that other boy's necklace could do!?" Nejire rattles off while bouncing a bit in her chair.
Then he defeated the others with a different trick from the trinket. Izuku vanished from sight and knocked the other two flat. When they tried to stand once more, Asahi returned and told them to get lost.
Everyone shakes their heads at seeing the other Izuku disappear and still knock the bullies around. "So he has boosted agility, strength, and can turn invisible? How does that work?" Toru questioned with a scratch of her head. Even Nezu can't surmise where these powers are coming from. Exciting him as he can't piece everything together and it surprises him.
After helping the girl (who introduced herself as Ashido Mina) up and saw her off, Izuku asked Asahi what was going on. "It's a bit of a story. And it'd be better if my father explained it," was all he said before asking for Izuku's address. Saying they'd visit in a day or two to help Izuku and his mother understand more about what was going on.
Mina hugs Izuku while joking, "seems like you keep saving me. At least in a bunch of the worlds we're watching!" Izuku lets out a nervous laugh and says, "I'd do it in this world too. But not just for you, for anyone." His declaration makes him respect more as it shows how much of a hero Izuku is at his core. With All Might smiling at his protégé's statement.
Sure enough, Asahi arrived with his father William Lambert a few days later. He didn't have the black tips to his hair like his son, and he only had one green eye. One of his eyes was covered by an eyepatch. But the man still carried an air about him that Inko and Izuku could only compare to a pro hero.
Another set of whistles are let out when they see the elder Lambert. "Manly looking guy there." Tetsutetsu says with a nod. Kirishima agrees before saying, "the way he's carrying himself….. it kinda reminds me of Crimson Riot, ya know?" A few can see it but more are curious about what the story behind these two was. And where their powers come from.
It was then that the Lambert's told their tale. About the true history of this world. About the Seekers, Titans, and Nullifiers. "Three centuries ago, my ancestor fought and pushed back our ancient enemy once more. But things have changed with the advent of quirks." William explained.
He told of how quirks had made much of humanity weaker and less capable than before. "There are very few now who can awaken the powers of a Seeker. Only those without quirks can truly become a Seeker. And use the spells we've passed down." William then demonstrated with Auger Frost to freeze a cup of water, and then melt it with Bolt Flare.
At hearing the story of the hidden heroes of the world, everyone was shocked and impressed by the way these people had been protecting the world. "They have defended everyone from monsters and villains most of us could only compare with to AFO or the Shie Hissaki. Truly heroic, every one of them." Ida says with a slight salute.
Others though were impressed by the magic that the man showed. While they all knew about Todoroki, it was still odd to see a person use multiple elements. Not to mention what they saw his son do to Bakugo. Nezu meanwhile was quite fascinated and interested in this hidden history and wondered if it was in their world as well.
And the piece de resistance, was when William and Asahi summoned their Titans. Beauregard for William, and Springer for Asahi. And while Inko was thinking the creatures had to be holograms, when they came up to her to be pet, she was convinced. And it grew when Izuku tapped into the amulet Asahi had given him. "Appear! Hellynx!" Izuku called out and a little red armored cat appeared and leapt up into Izuku's arms. The spikes on it's armor retracting while purring.
A few spit takes were let out seeing the strange creatures appear from the necklaces that the "Seekers" had. "Another Pokemon like thing?!" Kaminari says while coughing. And while some agreed, others saw the creatures akin to pets. Especially since they all summoned small animals that went up to Izuku's mom to be pet.
"Ah so that's why he could do all of that! That cat like creature has impressive agility and it can turn invisible! Quite fascinating indeed." Nezu says with a laugh. Aizawa's eye though was twitching as he thought about the possibility of the two boys going to UA. And he wouldn't be able to turn off their powers. 'It's almost like the universe hates me as much as Bakugo!' he thinks while facepalming.
It was after this, that William offered to teach Izuku what it meant to be a Seeker. A hero that had existed far longer than any in the current age. Over the next ten years, Izuku grew in his understanding of magic, history, myth and the world hidden from the world of quirks.
"Training montage!" the hard heads shout while watching the training go by. Momo and the other historically minded students were interested in the various places that the other Izuku was going to. From Pas de Calais, Mumbai, or even Rio de Janeiro. "It seems this Midoriya will be quite well versed in travel and more," she commented while admiring the architecture.
Reiko meanwhile was interested in the myths and creatures that the Seekers were searching for. As well as finding something extra interesting about Asahi as the montage showed the two aging. The teachers meanwhile were fascinated by the powers or spells that the Seekers could use alongside their Titans.
And here he was now, ready to apply to the UA hero course. Encouraged not just by Asahi, but William as well. "I think it may be about time that we start working with the "heroes" more. We've quietly aided or protected things without them knowing, but our enemies are getting bolder."
While some were disgruntled at the air quotes over heroes, they could understand the man's perspective. "And it is worrying if their enemies are getting bold. It was dangerous enough for us with the LOV and the others coming out of the wood work." Aizawa comments with a sigh.
Nezu agrees and notes, "it seemed as though they had the ability to mess with minds or take them over. While we all know about young Shinso's ability, these other people might be less inclined to be gentle." Shinso winces at that and looks down while remembering the comments of his classmates. And how his quirk would be a perfect villain power.
Izuku wasn't the only one who would be applying. Asahi wanted to stay with his old friend and show how they could be great heroes in their own right. And they would show it by plowing through the practical exam.
Aided not just by their spells, but the variety of Titans they had gathered over the years. Even destroying the zero point robots with their largest Titans. The bronze giant Terros for Asahi, and the colossal gem coated Titan Jeweled Colossus for Izuku. Both passing and joining the hero academia.
Eyes were wide and jaws were dropped at the sight of the two large Titans. "Holy shit. Those things are awesome!" Kamakiri says with a little laugh. Mineta and a few others though were interested in the Jeweled Colossus, and how much it would be worth if they could take a few gems.
"Impressive. While these are likely last resort types, I can imagine how useful they would be to stopping a villain. Or even stabilizing a collapsing building." Aizawa says with a slightly critical eye. Midnight mentions, "yeah and add in their powers and you've got a great team without needing to bring in others."
Some wanted to see more, but the screen lit up again with a new strange scene. One that had even more of them curious.
Overseeing a Strange World
Momo was walking down a hallway in UA to take some books back to the library. She and many others were stuck at school thanks to a typhoon that had rolled in. So she was taking some time to catch up on her reading. But as she was walking, she felt a strange presence behind her. She looked back and no one was there.
A few start feeling tense before Kaminari commented it was like a horror film. "Not helping dude. But yeah. You've got the hot girl, a stormy day or night, a somewhat empty large building. Pretty good horror or thriller set up." Mineta comments with a shiver of his own.
She kept going, but the feeling didn't fade and she was growing more paranoid. "Mineta! Are you there? This isn't funny!" Momo says while looking around once more. But no one answers. There isn't even anyone else in the hallway. She shakes her head before turning back down the hall. Only to be set upon by some creature from a stairwell as she walked by.
A few snorted at Momo blaming Mineta for stalking her. With the purple boy saying he wouldn't do that. "Look yeah, I get it. I'm a pervert and pretty proud about it. But I'm not one for that level of creepy!" he exclaims while pouting a bit.
And when some were going to counter his statement, their words were stopped by the creature that leapt out and attacked the other Momo. "And there's the thriller scare. Great!" Bondo says while slightly uncovering his eyes.
While Momo had been heading to the library, Mineta was actually talking with Izuku on how to improve his skills with his quirk. But while they were talking, the two heard Momo scream. And while the shorter student was terrified, the fact it was a girl screaming pushed him to follow Izuku to be a hero.
"I won't defend myself for the somewhat shallow reason, but at least I'm still willing to be a hero!" Mineta defends while others look at him with slight disgust. Izuku though compliments the short teen for pushing past his fear to help someone. "Even if it's not for the best reason."
They found Momo collapsed in the hallway. Groaning as she lay face down. Izuku turned her over and checked her for any injuries. While Mineta worried about if the one who attacked her was close by. "We've got bigger problems Mineta. I think she was attacked by a vampire."
While no spit takes were had, others choked a bit and were hoping that the other Izuku was being hyperbolic. "He just means like a person with a vampiric like quirk, right? Please?" Toru shivers while covering her eyes. Reiko though is even more intrigued by this and wondering how this would play out.
While Mineta started questioning how Izuku knew that and how they could deal with the monster; the boy himself was thinking back on what led him to this point. It started back when he happened upon a villain made of sludge. Who tried to take him over to hide from All Might.
The students were wide eyed at seeing Izuku being attacked by the same villain Bakugo had been. But his incident would have been less known in comparison. "It's not like he was somewhere populated like Bakugo was. And he probably doesn't have a quirk if the trend in these stories is anything to go on," Todoroki said bluntly.
As it squelched over him, Izuku questioned if this was the end for him. 'Not today kid.' Izuku heard in his mind. Suddenly, the sludge villain was frozen in place and a man walked up. He appeared to be a cowboy, given the hat, duster coat, boots, and jeans. But something about the man seemed odd to Izuku.
"We've been seeing a lot of cowboys in these series. Maybe it's a style or something choice? Yeah or maybe it's to play up the fact that quite a few of them are Americans," the students and some of the teachers comment. But the rest were interested in this strange hero who froze a dangerous villain like it was nothing.
He broke the sludge covering Izuku's mouth to help him and checked again if the boy was okay. The man looked Izuku over with some intrigue before introducing himself as Adam Garcia. "Um Garcia-san? Do you have an ice quirk or something?" Izuku asked nervously. The man just rolled his eyes before saying, "of course not. I don't have a quirk."
"You know, I'm not even surprised at this point." Mic said with a slight shade over his eyes. Aizawa agrees but wonders what else this person could do and how he did that freezing of the villain.
While this stunned the boy, it didn't compare to first meeting All Might who was after the sludge villain. Though while they were talking, the villain disappeared. But not due to him escaping. Instead, Garcia's partner had taken the strange villain and teleported him to a police station. This was Tomoe, a fox looking woman with brown, blonde hair, and tails.
Jiro rolled her eyes at the screen and the various perverts of the audience who were looking intently at Tomoe's nearly exposed breasts and alluring legs. "Yet another sexy woman in these videos. And she's a lot like those ship women from that the military Midoriya summoned."
"Yes. But she seems different. I wonder what her relationship to this Garcia is." Nezu comments with a twinge of excitement. Most of the teachers feel the same. Especially All Might who wonders if this pair would be taking the other Izuku under their wing.
Izuku and All Might assumed the woman just had a quirk that made her look like a fox, but a later set of meetings showed them otherwise. First came Garcia creating a magic field with his hands and showing the two the world he came from. One where magic, metas, and mutations collide in various ways.
This time spit takes did fly as they saw all manner of strange beings acting as heroes and villains or even just civilians in the world Garcia and Tomoe came from. "Man! Most of these heroes kind of make ours look sad." Sen says with a shake of his head. Most of the teens agree, with the teachers noting that their world had a different measure of power in comparison.
"They appear to have more quality powers in comparison to ours. Not to mention greater technology. In contrast, our world seems to operate on a quantity over quality. We have a multitude of powers, but most of them are useless unless paired with others." Nezu analyzes.
And this is where Tomoe comes in. She was not just a fox tailed human. She was in fact a nine tailed fox that Adam had helped and protected. After a time living together, she chose to become his familiar and helped to introduce Garcia into the greater world of magic. Becoming partners in the magic protection agency, The Overseers.
Some hum at the sight and question if these Overseers were like hero agencies or team ups. "I don't think so. This organization seem more like police station or similar. Maybe they operate more with magic entities?" All Might surmised with a scratch of his chin.
But this was in their own world, not the one they were currently in. The two of them had followed a dangerous magical criminal to this world. One who had committed multiple mass murders in their world. Namely the deaths of over 500 people in the city of Berlin. Seeing them all beneath her. This woman's name was Morda Aimsworth. And she was currently in Izuku and All Might's world.
"Welp, we're fucked." Kosei says at seeing some of the crimes that villain had committed. And most agreed with him, even the teachers. All Might gulped before saying, "thank god these heroes came to our world. At least then we have someone who could counter this mad woman."
The two had pursued her but now they had no idea where she was and they had no support. "But I sense something in you kid. I think you have the potential to be a mage yourself. And if you are interested, we can teach you."
While it was all really intimidating, Izuku saw this as a new way to be a hero all his own. So he accepted and began training in magic. Learning how to craft spells from thought or movement of hands, creating spells based on various regions and myths, even learning about creatures that he didn't know or believe actually existed.
The hard head fist bump again at the training montage yet another Izuku was undergoing. While Reiko was very fascinated by the spells and legends that was shown. While questioning if this was similar to what the other magic focused stories had as well. "I wonder who else would be empowered by the Campione Midoriya?" she questioned aloud.
This part was brought to a head when Tomoe and Adam brought the boy to a gap world. A space within a city. In this case it was an Edo styled city within Kyoto. Where various yokai resided. All under the watch of one of the three great demons of Japan. Emperor Sutoku.
Some spit takes were again fired, but this time at seeing a world made up of all mythical creatures and monsters. "And they're not just like those Titan things or people who's appearance has been changed thanks to quirks! These are actual yokai! I wonder what trouble this Midoriya is going to get into?"
What brought Izuku even deeper was meeting and helping a pair of orphan yokai from the cruelty of another dangerous yokai. Riku, a gutsy Mujina who had badger-like ears atop his head. And Chika, a scared fox girl with red hair and eyes.
Izuku helped them to get away from a Dodomeki, who had taken over the underground of the gap space and was looking to depose Sutoku some way. As well as forcing the various orphans picked up to steal for her. Often threatening violence, like burning a few of the younger ones. And cruelly killing older yokai who disagreed with her.
At seeing the young yokai, some were impressed or wanting to hug the pair. Chika especially looked like she needed a hug, according to Nejire. But upon seeing the person or yokai they were up against, more wanted to rush in and save them from the monstrous villain.
But the green haired teen realized something unsettling when he actually managed to hurt her. She had a special charm on her neck that was not using Shinto magic or other eastern styles. "That charm around her neck is Gaelic in the symbols. From what I could make out, it's a variation of the curse of Macha."
"The what now?" most of the students said. Even Momo and Ida had no clue on what was involved. Reiko though had an idea and said, "I think that other Midoriya will probably tell us what is going on. And it will be a bit unsettling."
He explained that the curse was one used to cripple the men of Ulster in Ireland as revenge for a boasting husband about the great skills of his wife. Who was a goddess. The curse would trap the men and protectors of Ulster in Labor pains for months. But there was a catch.
"Based on how it works, only those who are young can defeat her. And that is exactly what we're going to do." Izuku said to the two with a confident look in his eyes. Which inspires Riku to take a sword from the mansion they were trapped in to fight back.
Eyes were wide and the teachers (just like Reiko said) were very unsettled. "If this woman has…. Something like that! Then adult heroes would be useless!" Aizawa says while scratching his head in frustration. The rest of the teachers thought the same and were proud of the other Izuku for taking a stand to fight this dangerous opponent.
After a pitched battle and Chika coming in to help finish the fight, the group stopped the dangerous Yokai and freed all of the children. While also discovering Morda's influence in the matters. For Riku and Chika, they asked to come along with Izuku as his own familiars.
Some short cheers were let out at seeing the Dodomeki decapitated, and they grew as the yokai children were saved and helped to find new homes. "Oh that's nice! I guess those two will have a new lease on life thanks to you Midoriya!" Mirio says while patting Izuku's back.
And it is shown to be true when some images of Izuku and his familiars living with his mother and spending time with the woman. Though Chika appeared to be a bit nervous around the Midoriya matriarch.
The three would work together to get Izuku past the entrance exams and through his courses as a hero student. But now they had a new challenge altogether. "Are you serious Midoriya?! But there doesn't seem to be a bite mark on her neck." Mineta exclaimed while looking around.
"Nice. I mean it's like a three vee one when you're fighting Izuku and his familiars right? Some of use already have similar powers to that. I wonder what else could happen here?" the student muse as the video plays.
"Not that kind of vampire. This looks like a kiang-shi." Izuku explains while checking Momo's eyes. He clarifies that it wasn't a jiang-shi or hoping vampire. "Those have a lot more weaknesses. This is an eastern Chinese variation. Much more dangerous and much harder to deal with."
Tamaki has a shade over his eyes as he says, "well that's great. Now they have to deal with that. And how would you even defeat that thing?" Some looked to Reiko and Tokoyami to see if they had an idea, but they both shrugged and said they didn't really know about the kiang-shi.
Izuku notes that they drain the lifeforce or chi of victims. And if untreated by a transfer of another's chi, they would turn into slaves for the monster. While Mineta was fantasizing about Momo being a different kind of slave, Izuku was checking some notes he got from Tomoe and Adam on how to perform the transfer spell. "Crap. Come here Mineta. I need your help to save Yaoyorozu."
The green haired teen takes a breath before chanting and placing a hand on Mineta's head and then Momo's. The purple teen's eyes open wide and his chi shoots out and into Momo. Stirring her from unconsciousness.
"Interesting. So it drains the chi to empower itself and then uses that to make slaves as disposable soldiers. And based on what we saw earlier, they can fly compared to just hoping," Nezu surmised from the data presented.
The teens though questioned why Izuku used Mineta rather than his own lifeforce to save Momo. "Maybe he didn't want to use it in case there were some side effects?" Sato said while scratching his head. Jurota though wonders what this could do to Momo now that she had a bit of Mineta's chi.
She shakes her head before responding to Izuku's question about how she was feeling. "I'm good Midoriya…. Hmmm. You know I never noticed how cute you look. Though I gotta wonder what kind of package you've got down there." Momo says while looking down at Izuku's crotch.
Drinks and snacks were dropped at hearing that coming from Momo's mouth. With the heiress herself turning bright red. Mineta meanwhile started to reflect a bit on his own actions.
Izuku facepalms before saying, "I'm starting to regret using your chi Mineta. This is gonna get extra weird fast!" Right as he was saying that, Momo was reaching out toward his groin. And he had to slap her hands away. Mineta meanwhile found this new side of Momo arousing, but also disturbing. 'Is this what I'm like? Maybe I do need some help,' he thinks before helping pull Momo away.
"You know, it's extra weird when Mineta seems like the rational one as is. But now, Yaomomo is the horny pervert!? What's next?!" Mina asks while trying to keep from laughing. Especially because Momo had already blue screened at seeing her counterpart reach for the other Izuku's groin.
They debrief the teachers and they gather anyone who was still at the school before the typhoon hit in the gymnasium. Some thought they could handle the matter with their quirks, but Izuku told them that magic had to defeat the magic involved. Knowing a spell that would let them save everyone.
The audience lets out a sigh before Reiko said, "thank goodness he had enough foresight to write down how to undo the magic and damages done. Now they just need nothing else to go wrong." And while most agree, Ochaco brings up that Reiko might have jinxed their other selves.
Which was more needed when a certain incident happened. "I AM HERE!" All Might called out from the main doors of the gym. The students cheered thinking that the number one would save them. But Izuku knew better.
"TO DRAIN YOUR CHI!" All Might shouts as he was now a pointy eared and fanged version of himself. Fully a slave to the kiang-shi. Izuku had to act fast and created a spell tag that stopped the hero from attacking further. Though he could still talk and scared the hell out of Aizawa when he checked the man over.
When the other All Might let out his usual catchphrase, the audience was less afraid for their other selves. But when it was shown that All Might was now a vampire version of himself, their hearts dropped.
"Well done on stopping the rampaging threat that was….. well me Midoriya." All Might complimented in his buffed up state. Izuku blushed and just said it was his counterpart. "Yeah it's great that they don't have him as a weapon anymore, but neither do the heroes!" Bakugo exclaimed as they saw the magic Izuku make a circle to make sure All Might couldn't be freed until necessary. While everyone had a laugh at Vamp Might scaring Aizawa.
Izuku catches his breath before saying this is only going to get worse. "All Might did say his lady and her brothers. That means at minimum, we're dealing with three flying chi draining vampires. Two of whom are already stronger and faster. Great," he says as lightning flashes from the typhoon above. Then thinking, 'it's going to be a rough afternoon. And the screen fades to black.
"Whoa. That's a bit ominous to leave off on. Maybe that was the point? Who can say, though I do have to wonder what this next story is about," the students and then the teachers say as the screen lights up with a new title.
Chaos Incarnate
A man with black brown hair and eyes is shown sitting in a cavern clutching his right arm. Even in the low lighting, one could see his arm twitching and straining just to open his hand. "Hey… It's getting worse isn't it?" a voice called out. A woman was checking on him. She had red hair and heterochromia. Her right eye being red and her left being black.
Eyebrows were raised, as were questions about the situation before them. "The lady looks kind of hot, but what does this have to do with UA, heroes, or any of us?" Kaminari says while scratching his head. And for once Jiro doesn't want to stab him, as she agrees with most of what he said.
The man sighed before saying, "yeah it is Heph. It gets worse each time I fight. Not sure how much longer I'll be able to move it." The woman rolled her eyes before saying, "would you stop calling me Heph? My name is Tana, Johan. Or would you rather I call you Tyr?"
Some of the more academically inclined and well students had a spit take at the names of the two people involved. "Heph?! As in Hephaestus, God of the forge!? Don't forget Tyr! He's supposed to be a God of war and justice! Maybe that is what relates to heroes?" they say between themselves. While the other students were curious about where this could go.
Johan gives her a look before apologizing. "The blade worked pretty well by the way. It helped with intercepting this latest trouble. Speaking of; how's it going with the kid?" Tana sighed before admitting it wasn't going well. "You should probably see for yourself."
"Yep, definitely Hephaestus." Setsuna says with some intrigue. Kamakiri though thought the blade looked small if this Johan character was supposed to be some Norse warrior Ida meanwhile wonders if they were just using these as code names or if there was a different reason, they had the names of various gods in myth.
The woman guides him to a separate chamber where a group of people were working to restrain a massive beast. Serpent like with eight heads and spouting elemental blasts from each. It kept smashing and throwing people away as they bound the creature down.
Eri ducked into Mirio's arms at seeing the large creature. But he himself was afraid of the strange serpent with the rest of the audience. Even All Might was afraid of the creature on the screen. "It looks like Yamato no Orochi. But that….. no. Let's see where this goes." Nezu thinks aloud before wanting to see where the story would go.
"You picked up a real dangerous one this time." Tana commented as the two looked on. Johan sighed and said, "I know. But the kid needed help. And I would say he needs it now more than ever."
The scene shifts to a bit earlier in the day. Johan was walking through Mustafa and looking around. Keeping the weapon Tana had made for him hidden beneath his coat. He pulled out his phone and called an ally. "Frigga? Yeah, you sure this is the area. Would I be questioning Delphi? Maybe not, but she wasn't the one who had the vision."
Most gulped and wondered who the 'kid' was and how their quirk ended up turning them into a monster like that. And when the scene shifts to Mustafa, the confusion continues and they wonder how many of these strange heroes there were.
As he was arguing with the woman, he heard an explosion a few streets away. He hung up and ducked into an alley. Making sure no one could see him, Johan leapt up to the top of a ten-story building to try and get a better view of the situation. But since the location was in a narrow street, he had to find a higher location. And leapt to the top of a 30-story building.
"Whoa! Dude, this guy is manly! Big deal I can do that with my quirk! Yeah but it doesn't look like he's using a quirk or anything. It's like he's just got hops without needing some power. Besides, you can't do that subtly or to that same height that he can," the hero students say while watching how this new character got around the city. But for three watchers, they remembered a specific incident that fit all of these moments.
He looked down and saw a mass of sludge and muck fighting a group of "heroes". With one giant woman's ass in the way making it hard to see all of the details. "Dumbass. Your fat butt is in the way! But I can sense something. Where is it?"
Snorts of laughter were let out at his comments toward Mt Lady. With Midnight agreeing with what he said about her younger rival. While some others noted that once again it was about the fight with the slime villain and Bakugo likely being trapped.
Right as he was looking down there, Izuku Midoriya was charging in to try and save Katsuki Bakugo from the mass of sludge and slime he accidentally freed. He shakily smiled at Bakugo and said, "you looked like you needed saving!" But just as he was freeing the bully, the sludge villain knocked him away. And when Bakugo struggled even more, something terrible happened. The sludge villain snapped his neck.
While some were expecting the other Izuku to be able to save Bakugo, the results surprised all of them. Especially when they heard the sickening crack and saw the boy's body go limp. "No way….." Kirishima said while feeling some bile building in his throat. Their Bakugo was worse and already vomited the second he heard the breaking of his counterpart's neck. And many of the other's followed suit. With All Might himself looking even more dead inside at the fact that the other him lost the villain that killed his student.
Seeing the lifeless Bakugo infuriated the heroes, but for Izuku it was worse. He felt his sadness and despair grow to new heights and he could hear all of the things everyone had told him over the years. How they wish things could be different, that he couldn't do anything, he was useless, and that he needed to be realistic.
Stabs of guilt struck All Might and Bakugo as they heard the words they had told Izuku. While the rest of the students could do nothing but try to comfort their version as they saw him wince at hearing those words.
"Do you want power? The power to take revenge against this monsssster? To show otherssss that they were wrong? Or do you sssseeek something elsssse?" Izuku could hear this in his mind as the tears flowed and the mass of sludge stalked over to him.
Ibarra spoke up next by saying, "don't take it! This is a deal with the devil! He takes the form of a snake for a reason!" Upon saying that though, Nezu puts together the last pieces in his mind. Coming to an unsettling and sobering conclusion.
Izuku grit his teeth and his expression changed from one of despair to one of anger. "If you can give me the power, then let me take it! To end this animal!" Right as Izuku said that he felt something awaken around and within him. A flash of light engulfed the area, and in an instant, the sludge villain was reduced to nothing.
Everyone gulped at seeing the sludge villain reduced to not but ash. "Where's Deku?" Ochaco questioned while looking intently at the screen. Hoping her friend wasn't caught in the blast that killed the villain.
Where Izuku once was, now there was the serpent like beast with eight heads. Large and intimidating, lashing out and attacking everything around him. Even setting Mt Lady's head on fire and electrocuting her. All Might steps in as he only just arrived and is tries to stop the monster. But he is knocked away like it was nothing.
Seeing what happened to the other version of All Might, the entire audience was worried for what would become of the city. While Ibarra was praying for Izuku's soul as she knew that the creature was what Izuku had become.
The serpent roils up to attack All Might once more. This time with a breath attack. But the elemental beam is intercepted by a large sword dropping down from the top of the skyscraper. The serpent looks up and Johan drops down with a powerful drop kick to the center head. He then flips back to land on the hilt of his sword before leaping again punching full force with his tightened right fist. Knocking the creature into the air.
The hard heads were on the edge of their seats when they saw the huge sword drop, and the let out one of the biggest cries of "MANLY" they could when they saw Johan leap in and knock around the large monster.
"Leave this to me!" Johan demands before picking up his sword with his left hand and using it to cut and knock the beast away. Far away. This shocks All Might as he assumed he'd be one of the only people in the world who could do that. Emphasized when Johan leapt away to follow the giant serpent.
"Daaammnnn! Look at that snake fly!" Kirishima and Tetsutetsu say while leaning back in their chairs. All Might is in much the same place as his counterpart as he knew very few who could match him in strength. 'How is this Johan person doing that?' he questions in his mind.
The creature lands on a beach and Johan isn't too far behind. "All right then. Time to bind this beast," he says before rushing forward and punching a head with his right arm. Stopping it in place. He repeats this attack seven more times, while blocking the beam attacks from each of the heads. Until the serpent can move no more.
Kaminari and some of the other dense students look at the fight with confusion before questioning how it was possible to do that. "I'm not… wait! The binding of Fenrir! Tyr gave up a hand to make sure the great wolf to end the world would be bound! Perhaps in this instance, that Johan person can punch with his right hand and bind an enemy with Glepnir!" Tokoyami exclaims when he figures it out.
"I agree young Tokoyami. Unlike in that God Slayer universe, it seems this one they may be able to call upon the powers related to said Gods. The forging of weapons for Hephaestus, battle, binding, and perhaps justice for Tyr and….. well destructive impulses for young Midoriya with the Yamato no Orochi." Nezu says with some excitement, but it is doused a bit by Izuku's transformation.
He sighs as his sword changes from a massive blade to a more manageable sized weapon. Sheathing it on his left side. He tried to pull out his phone, but his right hand still couldn't move. So, he used his left to call his allies.
"So his hand gets paralyzed every time he gets serious?" Momo says with some confusion. Reiko nods and notes, "whenever this person taps into the power of Tyr, yes. Since the God himself is missing his dominant hand, this man likely has to do the same."
The first to arrive was a wiry built young man who sped up to the beach. "*whistle* Quite the beast you restrained. But I guess that fits. Eh Tyr?" Johan gives him a look before saying, "cram it Hermes. You don't honestly think you can carry this kid back."
"He doesn't have to. I've got that covered!" Johan hears from atop the bestial Izuku's head. Sitting atop him is a girl with brown hair and eyes. She has a cheeky smirk while barely wearing anything to cover up her impressive bosom. But the most eye-catching feature is the large squirrel tail and ears she had.
Most of the audience was a bit confused by the arrival of the Hermes character, but more eyes were drawn to the squirrel girl. Mostly the male (and a couple of female) gazes though. "How many of these, whoever or whatever they are, are out there?" Midnight asks in confusion.
"Hard to say. It could be that some of them just hide in normal society. Given how weird most quirks have made people." Present Mic says with a shrug. Aizawa agrees and worries about the ability to fight some of these people.
Johan has a flat look before saying, "Rata? You volunteered for this? Since when do you do more than just spread gossip or scout?" The girl pouts before saying, "I can be more of a help than you think! I'll get this guy back to base. See ya!" And with that, the girl teleports away with the monstrous Izuku.
"Hm! So we have a case of another Ratatoskr person. But this time it's her entire power rather than just one power." Nezu says with a chuckle. Some of the students (Kaminari, Bondo, the hard heads, and Pony) have to think for a moment before being reminded of Master Jonathan from the God Slayer universe.
Right as she teleported away, some of the heroes arrived. Endeavor leading the charge with Ingenium and a few others behind him. They demanded answers on what happened and who they were. With the flame hero's power roiling.
But this didn't intimidate the two men, and they quickly dispatched the various heroes gathered. With Hermes making Ingenium look slow and like a fool (giving him an armor wedgie and spinning him around to where he jetted into a tree) to Johan walking through Endeavor's flames to punch him in the face and binding him in place. And then doing the same to Mt. Lady and a few others that tried to attack.
Most of the teens laugh at how Johan and Hermes deal with the heroes. With the exception of Ida who was upset about his brother getting made to look like a fool. Though Todoroki was smiling and laughing out loud at seeing Endeavor's flames being useless and getting knocked around by Johan. And a few winced when they saw the man punch Mt Lady so hard she was out cold in one shot. Not to mention tied up by the Glepnir bindings.
"Who are you?!" Burnin asked while stuck in a somewhat compromising position after Johan had bound her. The two looked back before one said, "we are something that doesn't exist. Incarnates of something many deny being real." And with that, they disappear in a rush of wind. And the screen cuts to black.
Some blushed or got their motors running in seeing Burnin in the ass up position she was in. But more were curious about this title of incarnates and how it related to what the other Izuku had turned into. "Truly fascinating. I'd like to learn more." Nezu says.
Unfortunately, the screen shows something unusual once more. This time it appears to be an anthropomorphic person of some kind. A racoon with a blue shirt and hat. As well as green eyes.
"Wonder what this next story will be about? Don't know. Looks like…. Maybe a Midoriya that has a quirk that makes him a racoon? Or somebody like that. I don't know about anyone else, but I need a minute. That last one was a bit more than I expected."
With the discussions done, the audience disperses to use the bathroom or eat something to replace what was lost from seeing Bakugo killed.
Well this was a long one. But I wanted to write these in hopes that some might be interested in ready my customs stories. Like Overseers, which is based on some comic ideas I wrote alongside Justice. But the last story was built from a game I found interesting but it didn't get much of a chance.
Rise of the Incarnates. It seemed like a really cool game and had some potential. But it didn't get enough people interested in it and fell short with supplemental materials. And while I was tempted to give Izuku Mephistopheles (one of the main characters from the base game's Daimons) it felt too easy and a bit lazy to just use that.
So I went with Yamato no Orochi as his Daimon and he got beat by a custom Incarnate based on Tyr. If anyone would be interested in this, I might write more to it and get into more details about Izuku's new powers and how he'd have to learn to control them. Please review!
