Chapter 29: The Newer Dimension
Hours have flown by, and it is still raining. We are at home by the way, and I was just lying down on the floor with my feet on the wall. I started reading my book after we went inside the house and got settled. The book is turning out very well so far. The first four chapters were quite entertaining to read. But it's still a long way to go so I'm getting there.
Knowing that Blue is into The Hunger Games makes me want to learn about her more. Now that we both like to read books. Adventurous… books. You know, now that I think about it… it makes me kinda wonder if I should take a break from reading adventurous types of books. I'm not saying that I should stop reading them. I'm only saying that I just read… too much of it. So I'm just wondering if I should read other things as well.
But… Should I?
"You ok, Kaze?" I heard my mom call out to me.
I'll think about it later.
"Yes, I'm good." I said to her.
"I don't see you on the bed somewhere."
"I'm right next to it. I'm on the floor actually."
"Really, sweetie? On the floor?" My mom asked with a sweatdrop as she came into my room.
"I just wanted to find one comfortable spot that is not actually the bed so…"
"Figures. How are you liking the book so far? Is it really good?"
"Yes. It's turning out really good so far. I only read four chapters of it."
"Just four?"
"I was… unexpectedly tired. So I left a bookmark on it so that I don't forget where I stopped."
It's true. I was tired. I wanted to keep reading, but I was just tired, so I had to stop reading and take a nap. Luckily, my mother didn't bother me for a good while.
"I understand. You know, I am kinda surprised that Blue read the novel that we were first about to read. Do you think we… we're too late on reading it after it was released?"
I then went silent for a bit, trying to come up with an answer. This is actually our first time reading such an interesting novel. But what I'm having struggles with, are the release dates. I'm still gonna have to improve over time. Even though it's just easy to remember.
"I'm not sure." I said. "I haven't checked it's release date before or after we got to the library earlier."
"Understand. *sigh* First a new book and now you have three new friends. You're already making a name for yourself."
"You have a book too, you know?"
"Yes… but seeing you starting off fresh after you just got back from Primp Town makes me feel happy you know."
A thought then came to my mind since my mom brought up the fact that she always feels happy for me.
"You know, Mom. It kinda actually makes me wonder something."
"Oh? And that is?"
"Do you… have an actual crush on me?" I asked while looking away from her.
"H-H-HUH?! W-WHERE DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT TYPE OF EVENT?!" My mother yelled while blushing really hard.
"I figured that… remember all those years you were having conversations with me about anything? The way we were talking about kinda makes me wonder if you… kinda have a crush on me. Like… do you… love me as a whole?"
"K-Kaze… *sigh* As a mother, yes. But we're not the same age. You'll still be my lovable daughter, but that doesn't mean that I have a crush on you. In fact, There's a 0.00001% probability that a mother has a crush on her daughter."
"Oh… because it kinda felt like it to me." I said as I sat on top of my bed. "There was a flashback to where I mistakenly brought up the fact to Raffina that she was planning on confessing to date me. So I instantly told her no."

"*giggle* I'm serious! I didn't know where that came from!" I said while laughing at Mom's priceless face.
"Kaze."
"I told her no! She started hugging me before I said that. We started to get along, start a relationship, Have each other's backs. There was no love confession."
"Yes, I understand. But… are you serious, sweetie? You and Raffina trying to date each other? You both are girls. You can't date each other."
"That's why I said no. I wasn't planning on dating a girl. Nor a boy."
"*sigh* You are one weird daughter for this one, you know?"
"No. I'm just… Well I'm a novice when it comes to romance, but I don't think I have the guts to find a boy that I like. Since I rarely watch romance."
"Well the process can be hard, but it all depends if you both have the same interest in what you guys like to do. Well... kinda. But just remember… always stick with the person that you like best. You don't need to switch from one person to another. Because the person you just met might start begging you to come back to him afterwards, so just stick to who you like the most."
"Well… I guess I'll take that as advice for now." I said.
"You don't have someone in mind yet?"
"No, not really. Like I said, I don't have the guts to find a boy."
"Just try to give love a chance, one day. Maybe your dream boy might come to you."
"D-Did you really have to say that so nonchalantly?"
I asked, not knowing what to react from Mom's statement.
"I didn't mean it like that. I'm just saying that once you just… be the Kaze that you are right now, there may be a likelihood somewhere that a boy will spark interest in you. Or at least… if you grow famous because of the way you actually look."
"*sigh* I wouldn't want that. I just want to be myself is all I'm asking for."
"Yeah I know. You are you, so just do whatever makes you feel happy."
"Yeah… but aside from romance and popularity, I'm more worried about this."
I got up from my bed and went to my drawer to pull out the red stone that I have been protecting the entire time.
I'm just glad it's just still there. I would lose my mind if Thanos was there to steal that thing without knowing where I live.
"*sigh* I'm just… concerned about the fact that this country as well as this world along with other dimensions are going into a complete crisis. This country was doing just fine until now we are experiencing this. And I'm gonna be honest, I love my own country as well as the people…"
I then went silent for a bit. But that was when Mom took the floor.
"Do you think it had to be that… I sent you to the Puyo Dimension and the flash of light occurred because of you appearing for too long? Because I think so."
"No no. It's not you. It's just that… Well this mysterious person is trying to be stealth and recruited the villains from the dimensions that they've always been in to go hunt down the stones. Well, for Thanos, as we all know. I've heard about… well we if you knew his story."
"You mean the story where he was trying to kill half the population of the people and create a newer universe?" Mom asked.
"Yeah that. I just really want to know how he is alive. He found all five of these so-called infinity stones. I want to know why he is now trying to go after the legendary stones to begin with."
"Actually, speaking of infinity— err, I mean legendary stones, I want to actually figure out where the other stones are AND what their power is. Because I don't actually feel comfortable about an apocalypse so I guess… our only option tomorrow is to just go to that unknown dimension and find the person that knows about the other stones. The Legendary Stones. I just don't want anything happening to me or the other people that are in this world. Just know that… I'm your only mother that you love so much."
"I know. And us women are smart and we will find a way to put a big piece to the puzzle with this stone that we have in our possession."
"*moan* My daughter… I really wish I could snuggle on your whole body."
"Yeah… that still tells me you got a crush on me." I said to her.
"Tch! Well… if I stop acting like that." My mom said while blushing.
"I guess you really do mean it." I said. "So what time do you want to go to the newer dimension?"
"Let's try… 9:00 in the morning."
"Ok. I guess that could work… as long as it doesn't rain again tomorrow."
"Alright. Let's try to wash our bodies in the meantime. We have to be clean to prepare for tomorrow."
"Unluckily, Dad's not here. We could've made him teleport into this new dimension with us."
"Well, If I ever get a chance, I'll try to talk to him about it. But only about the flash of light incident. Because I might not be able to remember how it all happened before you explained it to me."
"Oh."
"Alright, sweetie. Try to wash up, alright?" Mom said while she patted my leg.
"Ok, mom."
I really love my mom. But Dad… I wonder how he is going to take it if he ever arrives home and learns about it.

Oh well. I guess it's me and my mother for this one.
*THE NEXT MORNING*
"Kaze."

"Kaze."
"*groan* Yes, mom?"
"Are you up? Our time to teleport into the new dimension is in several minutes.
"I am? What time is it?"
"It's 8:41 in the morning."
"Really?! How did time flow by so fast?!"
"Probably because you slept well. Don't you think?"

"Yeah… alright I'll meet you downstairs." I said as I got up from my bed.
Geez, that time went by fast. Someone please tell me how that happened.
Minutes later, I was freshening myself up (like washing my face and brushing my teeth), had to put on clothes (which was a black t-shirt with vertical light-purple lines around the entire shirt, the same black jeans that I had on yesterday, and these really nice galaxy sneakers), and met mom downstairs so that we can get ready to enter this new dimension. Not to mention, I had to bring the red stone with me. Just in case.
I'm really curious to see what this new dimension looks like. This might be the first time in my history that I have gone to two different dimensions. I'm just wondering if the dimension that I'm going to has the stone like the one that I have in my hand. That's probably my guess.
"Nice day, is it not?" Mom asked as she was in the kitchen eating her cereal at the table while on her phone.
"Yes. Wait, you made me some cereal?" I said as I went to the kitchen.
"Well, I figured you were starving this morning so I could lend a hand and just give you something to eat."
Mom said.
"Oh, ok. Thanks." I said as I sat on the chair.
"You brought your stone with you?" Mom asked.
"Yeah, it's right here." I said I took the stone out of my pocket and placed it on the table.
"Ok. That's good. Hey, speaking of stones, you told me that Raffina is rich and beautiful, right?"
"Yes?"
"Does she know a lot about these legendary stones?"

"Uhh… well, not at all. She was part of protecting the stone for me, but she doesn't know all about it in general when it arrived. But… maybe I should ask if she knows a lot about shiny stuff like this stone."
"You mean Jewelry?"
"Yeah that."
"Man, I should've taken you, her, Amitie, Arle and Ringo to this unknown dimension. Because you five were part of the whole stone conflict. I was just staying in my lane."
"Yeah you were. But, I think this person might be including you for something else. I'm just not so sure what that is, though." I said while eating my cereal.
"It's pretty odd how Thanos is still here looking for that stone. I know this country is pretty wide, but we still don't know what stone he is pursuing at this very latest."
"I know. Not to mention, we don't know where the other stone is, either. I found the red stone in the forest back in Primp Town. Now just finding that stone in this country… or rather, this dimension makes it even difficult to track down."
"I don't even know how two dimensions including ours got into an event like this. I sure hope it doesn't end in an apocalypse."
"It's not going to end in an apocalypse. Trust me. Once we find all those stones, then there is a possibility that we can put an end to Satan, Ecolo, Thanos, and Arfoire's evil mayhem. We just need to keep our eyes peeled and make sure to find out what's happening."
"You see, Kaze. You kinda act like a guardian to me." My mom said while looking away from me.
"What? That's not true. I'm just… I don't want anything happening to you. I would be alone if there's anything happening. I would definitely be right here with you, mom. Promise."
"*sigh* Oh, Kaze… I guess having you as my daughter
was the right choice for me." Mom said while blushing.
"Well, I'm your only daughter after all."
"I wish there were more people like you."
"You only got one of me, though."
"Yes. I'm just talking about in the future."
"Oh."
"Do you think the environment here would've been even better if Blue came over to our house?"
"Yeah. Kinda. Because we never had residents inside our house. In a LONG time."
"I may be thinking that you and Blue as well as Lucas and Xavier can spend time here in this house. You four can play some games, watch movies, maybe I can bring some snacks and drinks."
"Yeah… that might… be entertaining, I guess."
"Entertaining? You should say it's at least fun."
"Ok. It's at least fun."
"Well I had to say it for you… so never mind." Mom said with a sigh. "Anyway, ready to go?"
"Yeah, I'm ready."
"Wait, where's that walkie-talkie?" My mom asked as she was looking around the kitchen.
"I placed it on the table in the living room. I tried using the drawer in the kitchen to put it in but it's too… thick, so the next thing I thought of was the table."
"Ok. Let me grab our bowls and then we'll go outside and test this… walkie-talkie out."
"Ok. Sure thing."
My mom then washed out our bowls after we just finished eating our cereal. While she was doing that, I was making sure everything we needed was secured. The stone, the walkie-talkie, and my phone. Just in case of an emergency.
Once mother was done washing the dishes, she put on her black sneakers. Of course, she was wearing all black today. Shirt, jeans, sneakers. All of it. We both like black, of course so we just had to bear with these colors.
We headed for the door after grabbing our stuff and we were now standing outside to see what to do next.
"Alright. You ready?" I asked my mom as I pulled out the walkie-talkie.
"K-Kinda. This is my first time going to different dimensions, so…"
"We'll be together. Don't worry. There were no problems when I first entered the Puyo dimension, so let's pray that we can figure out what this new dimension looks like?"
"*sigh* Very well. If you are that confident, then I guess we can get this over with."
"Ok, then. So what does this blue button do?" I asked as I pressed the blue button on the walkie-talkie.
*AURA SOUND EFFECT*

"A… portal?" My mom asked, looking confused as we were looking at a medium light-blue portal that spawned in our faces.
"Figured it would be a portal in there." I said.
"Why do you think it does that?" My mom asked.
"I don't know. I haven't had a first glance at it. Ever."
"*sigh* I just hope this is not fake. Are you ready to go inside?" My mom asked.
"Yes. Let's see where this portal takes us too."
We both stepped into the portal. But my mother wanted to go first, so I just made her go first. And she was unexpectedly sucked inside which made me laugh a little bit because it was kinda funny to me. As for me, I went inside next and it sucked me in too. Now I'm really wondering what this next dimension is gonna look like. I'm just hoping it would be scary.
After a few minutes of being inside the portal, I was now out of the portal and into a newer dimension. I somehow ran into mom probably because she was blocking the path. I helped her up afterwards and she took the blame claiming she didn't see me coming through the exit. I told her it was fine afterwards.
"Wow…" We both said as we looked at this newer dimension as it lit our eyes up big.
What this dimension looked like… turned out to be that we are… in a newer generation, like it's the future. There were some cool metro trains, futuristic cars that you don't see often. You can see that there's futuristic towers. And there was a really big mall on our left.
Dang. This is… a really cool Sci-Fi Dimension. But… What is this place though?
"Wow… so this person is not actually faking it. I gotta know more about this place. What do you think about this place?" Mom asked me.
"This is… a really cool dimension. This is like the future."
"You're not wrong at all. I don't know how this place got so… so… astonishing."
"I wonder where we should start first, though." I said as I was looking around.
"I'm not sure. I know this dimension is really futuristic and amazing, but there's so many places to choose."
"No doubt. I just can't stop staring at this place. Maybe we should look around." I said.
"Agreed. Let's go."
As we're walking around, there were some people just roaming around the city. What surprised us the most were that 50 percent of the people were wearing normal clothes and 50 percent of the people were wearing suits.
For the men, they were wearing full body suits and sneakers while for the women, they were wearing just body suits and long boots. Most of the suits that the people wear had different colors on them. It was kinda odd in my opinion because I thought they were supposed to wear the colors that represent this nation. Or dimension.
This place looks way different than the United Kingdom. I wonder how big this dimension is.
"It sure is nice around here. I wonder if there is someone in this area that knows about us." I said as I looked around once more.
"Like I said, I did not take part in this, but I still want to know about the other stones in the other dimensions."
"Yeah. I know. I'm just looking around to see a lot of cars that look so futuristic and people wearing suits. It's kinda odd, though."
"Well… you do have a point there. Do you think it's because… there's a ruler here? Like a… monarch?"
"Not really. It's a Sci-Fi-like dimension. So it's doubtful that there is a monarch that rules this nation. I mean, only if we run into one. I'm sure."
"So… how are we going to find this mysterious person?" My mom asked while looking at the letter.
"Well… he or she never gave us the location of where we should meet up."
"So that must signal that we might be lost or we got here for nothing."
"I don't think so. I'm sure that person might come eventually. He or she hasn't shown yet." I said as we were making a turn on the sidewalk.
"But I'm surprised that person knows the red stone alright. We would've been so lost if no information was given to either us or the people back in Primp Town."
"True. But… I wonder if this world has a legendary stone." I said while thinking about it.
"I mean… it depends. It's a new dimension that we're in currently so it kinda depends."
"I don't think anyone has talked about this place back in our world… but when I look at this place more thoroughly, it seems to me that… we might be in the future."
"I don't think we're in the future." Mom said to me with a sweatdrop.
"Well… when you look at the dimension, it has a bunch of futuristic objects."
"I get it, but… don't you think this dimension is real-life too? Although there are a lot of cool cars, trains, and buildings that look like there in the future?"
"Well… It's still…"
"There you two are!"
"Huh?"
We then heard a newer voice that was coming from our right. On our right was a woman with long blonde hair that was REALLY straight and light-blue eyes. She had a gold star with a light-blue moon in the middle that was on top of her head. Not to mention, she also had two light-blue moon shaped hair-clips in her hair. She was wearing a light-blue and white bodysuit that seemed really tight, but it somehow fits her, white thigh boots that nearly reached her suit. I also noticed that she was wearing these tight light-blue gloves in which it's not even snowy. In my mind I wanted to ask why but normally I just played it off.
"My apologies for being intrusive, but I'm just so pleased that you'd come here." The woman said to us.
"Wait so... Are you the person who gave us this letter?" Mom asked.
"Yes. I will introduce myself shortly. For now, I need to take you guys somewhere very important."
"Somewhere… very important?" I asked.
"Well, since you two have arrived, we should have our chat somewhere else so that no one could hear about it."
"But… how?"
"No need to worry. I have a vehicle." The woman brought out her vehicle remote-like device and pressed the yellow button.
And then what was summoned was an white aircraft that looked so futuristic. My eyes lit up and so did my mother's eyes because of how cool it was.
Am I dreaming, or is this real-life? Because that is really cool.
"Now then. Shall we depart?"

"Y-Yes." We both said as we followed the lady inside this really nice aircraft.
"This is definitely spot-on." I said to Mom.
"I can't disagree. This woman has gotta be rich or something with the vehicle she has in our possession."
"Now I'm really wanting to see how this'll play out."
"I agree."
We then got on the aircraft with this identified woman. The good thing about it was that the canopy of the aircraft was very big and the craft had so much room. There were 15 seats inside and there was and there was a big navigation screen in the front of the craft.
Something that makes this aircraft a really good vehicle to fly in.
I'm not gonna lie, I was wondering what other things that this dimension has because this place is really cool. I guess having that red stone with me paid off for some reason. We liked everything about this vehicle and the woman understood as we now took off.
"Ok, now with that out of the way, I haven't gotten the chance to introduce myself. My name is Lunia Hyper. You may call me Lady Lunia, Ms. Lunia, Ms. Hyper or just Lunia. And I'm the actual goddess and ruler of this dimension called Hyperdrive City."
"You're the goddess AND ruler of this really cool dimension?!" I asked.
"That's correct. It seems you took the time to glance around here. What do you ladies think of this dimension?"
"This is amazing. 100 percent amazing." Mom asked.
"I can't describe how magnificent the environment is. It's just so… futuristic here." I said.
"This is because our world has been living for over 500 thousand years to the point where over time upgrades of our city have been increased. So cars, buildings, planes including this one are newer as time flows by." The woman named Lunia explained.
"So that process is… kinda the same as back home, no?" I asked mom.
"Yeah. It's just… every year, new things make their first appearance."
"Well, there's more stuff that you'll like to see around here. I think you'll probably like them once you first get to see it."
"Definitely." Mom said.
"So… were you the person who gave us both the letter?" I asked.
"Yes. I was "that" person who gave you that note. I would've been terrified at what would've happened if you lost the battle against Satan and Ecolo. The red stone was a big need to our advantage."
"Do you know about those two?"
"Correct. In fact, I record every history in ALL of the dimensions."
"All of them?!"
"Every last of them, indeed."
"Alright, so that means we might be getting somewhere." I said.
"Wait, so you knew that Kaze and her friends went to war against Satan and Ecolo for the right to keep the stone?" Mom asked Lunia.
"Right. When I was looking at Satan in the Puyo Puyo dimension, I never even realized that he was this keen to take down her, along with Ringo, Amitie and the others and just have Arle alive. It wouldn't be fair on my end because Arle would be just lonely without her friends that she cared for so much. I actually kinda felt bad for her."
"Well… for me I actually did too. She's too young anyway, so having Arle wouldn't be the best choice for him."
"I definitely agree. But my main concern was Arfoire being called for backup hunting down that red stone. Everything went well for you for days and now she arrived to take the red stone. I would've recommended her focusing on her world instead of Suzuran City."
"So you say you record every history in all of the dimensions, right?" I asked.
"Correct."
"According to what Satan and Ecolo told me, Arle, Ringo and Amitie, there are six total legendary stones that are scattered in six different dimensions. I know that the red stone has the ability to summon a giant bomb-like Puyo in order to send enemies flying into the sky. I just want to know the name of this red legendary stone and the other five legendary stones that are in those five other dimensions, including the one that Arfoire is in."
"The five other legendary stones, you ask. Well… I'll show you the other five when I reach my main base."
"Your… main base?" We both asked, looking confused.
"It's where I often find my reports and help others when they're in danger or when something else is not right. Not to mention, it's also where I also help train my army."
"Y-Your… army?" We both asked.
"25 years from now, we've been training here in Hyperdrive City to become Hyperdrive Cyber Units or HCU for abbreviation that can travel to different dimensions to stop evil beings and I, myself, took part of it, along with my children."
"But aren't your kids too young to be involved in such activity?" Mom asked while looking worried.
"T-They're not like children. Like you are supposed to take care of them as an adult or a babysitter. I've got children that are a year older than Kaze and children that are the same age as Kaze. I'm not joking around. You'll see when we reach our base."
"Well… do they know what they're doing in terms of what they use to defend themselves?" I asked.
"Correct. They are still developing from their training but they are turning out quite impressive so far. They only need to master their training with something else."
"O-Ok." I said as we were both speechless on what to say about the children who were trained to become cyber soldiers.
S-She's the ruler so… I guess it is what it is.
*WE WILL NOW ARRIVE AT OUR DESTINATION SHORTLY*
"That was quick." I said.
"Yeah, my own airplane is somewhat fast so we reach our destinations quicker." Lunia said.
"Fair enough."
"Do you even believe what she's saying?" Mom whispered to me.
"Well she's the ruler of this dimension so it's possible that she's telling the truth." I whispered to her.
"Not me."
"Well… let's try to play it out a little longer. We may have a bigger hurdle to jump. Not to mention, we may get more info about what is really going on in the United Kingdom, Primp Town and/or Suzaran City. It'll get even better. I promise."

"All right. If you say so." Mom whispered to me.
So I wonder if this means I'm going to get even more friends. I might be setting some records. I had 3 yesterday. Now I'm really curious to see how this goes.
"Alright, ladies. Welcome to my main base." Lunia said to us.
"Wow…" We both were amazed by the inside of Lunia's base. Everything inside were some test chambers, computer-like screens (They are kinda like IPads if you ask me), training rooms, and all those sorts of things.
"So what do you ladies think?"
"I don't know what words that can describe how amazing your dimension is as well as this place." I said.
"This is just… A1." Mom said.
"Yes, definitely A1."
"*giggle* Well, I guess no one can outrank this dimension as the bestest there is." Lunia said.
"Yes. Definitely true, Lunia." Mom said with a smile.
"But wait… is it just you alone?" I asked Lunia.
"No. I'm not alone. I have my children with me so far. They are in the next room up ahead. Like I said, Kaze, there are some kids who are a year older than you, and kids who are the same age as you. Trust me. You'll see what I'm talking about."
"No no. I believe you."
We then proceeded to follow Lunia up to the next room. I can't really describe how incredible this place is. No wonder how this dimension lasted for so long that it ended up being upgraded to a one… fascinating world.
Imagine Primp Town, Suzuran City, United Kingdom and Hyperdrive City would've all been formed into one world. That would've been… insane.
"I'm back, everyone." Lunia said as we all went inside the next room.
"Man, so these are the two ladies you were talking about, mom? That's a plus right there. Really." I then heard a boy with black hair and amber eyes say. Who has the same skin as me.
Only four people here, huh? It's not a bad number I guess.
"I wouldn't call that an advantage. They're just new here." Lunia said with a sweatdrop.
"So this is officially their first time being here, I presume. Hmph. They seem kinda intelligent on my end." A girl with black short hair and blue eyes said. She seemed pretty chill while reading her book.
"Wait, how do you know?" The boy with black hair asked the girl with black short hair. Her hair looks kinda straight for some reason.
"I could tell. Remember what mom said about them being highly intelligent? They're intelligent. I'm intelligent."
"You must've forgotten, haven't you? Just as freaking expected." A girl with brown pigtails and light-brown eyes said who facepalmed really hard.
"I do! It's just… I remember at my own time."
"No. You are supposed to remember ALL the time. Not at your own time." Lunia said.
"To be honest, me and Kaze are intelligent. Just not… with these types of… technology." Mom said.
"Yes, we're not that advanced." I said.
"It's ok." Lunia said. We have us that can help guide you to what everything is around here. It'll get even better once we help you girls explore this place more often."
"I get the feeling that you might want to hang around more because of it." A boy with blonde short hair and blue eyes.
"Well I would, but we're just more interested in you guys finding more details about the six legendary stones." Mom said.
"Of course. You are more worried about the stones as much as you like to see what else is here in this city. Very well, then." Lunia said. "Oh… by the way, I forgot that these four are my children. Five if he comes back."
"I'll go first. Name's Kris Hyper. Top-Notch in games. PlayStation, Xbox, Wii, DS, 3DS, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, PlayStation Vita, PlaySta…"
"Ok ok ok ok ok. You don't need to tell them every console." Lunia said. "Kris… *sigh* is a gaming geek. He has a lot of video games that come to mind. But he can be handy often, but sometimes jokes around which is his specialty. But all in all, he is reliable."
So… he plays all the consoles?
"I bet Kaze would play Pac-Man. She is an ace when it comes to that." Mom said while looking at me.
"Oh, just Pac-Man?" Lunia asked.
"Well I play other games. This is just… the only game that I'm good at. For now." I said.
"I have a big collection so I bet I have a bunch of Pac-Man games." Kris said.
"But every time we play games, he ends up winning. Most of the time." The girl with brown pigtails said. "Anyway, I'm Alexis Hyper. You know, you ladies seem nice. Gotta hand it to you."
"Thank you." Me and mom said.
"Alexis is known for being a pretty girl, but when it comes to fighting, this is when her physicality increases… almost dramatically. I'm not sure why." Lunia said with a sweatdrop.
"I practice a lot. That's why." Alexis said.
"That's probably because she gets paranoid a lot."
"No I don't, dumb-dumb!" Alexis shouted at Kris.
"My name's Scarlett Hyper. It's a pleasure." The black-haired girl said.
"Scarlett is very intelligent. That's why she is always into books so she can be very helpful at times." Lunia said.
"And I'm Zachary Hyper. Zack for short."
"He's really good at being an engineer. He can design and fix up almost everything. Think of him as an elite engineer." Lunia said.
"Does he fix up a car?" Mom asked.
"Exactly. I fix a lot of cars actually." Zack said with a nod.
"Even a… tv?" I asked.
"I do that as well." Zack said with a nod.
"A Phone? Like we have?" Mom asked while putting up her phone.
"Mhm."
"So cool." We both whispered.
Wait… something hit me.
"So… are these your… children?" I asked.
"Again, Yes. They look somewhat your age and are older than you so…"
"I'm 16." Kris said.
"Same." Alexis and Zack said.
"I'm actually 17." Scarlett said.
"Yeah… that's what I was going to say." Lunia said with a sweatdrop.
"You have a really cool dimension, Lunia. One of the best I have ever seen." Mom said.
"Thanks again. I haven't had a person from a different dimension compliment my own domain. My secret domain. We didn't have a person from a different dimension that came here regardless."
"Makes sense." We both said.
"But still, I'm glad you like our dimension. You'll get to see more fun stuff once you keep roaming around."
"Still seems a lot better than what I've been through in Primp Town and Suzuran City." I said. "That party at Suzuran was a complete trainwreck, thanks to Arfoire's ambush just for one red stone."
"It's still crazy to think that she would stop the fun with ease." Alexis said. "Still don't get why she was at Suzuran and not in her own dimension. It kinda sounds unfair."
"I couldn't agree more." I said to Alexis.
"What y'all talking about?" That voice came from a boy with black hair and brown eyes who just entered the room in a different path. But the main difference between all of us was that his skin color is a little bit darker. He was eating a bag of chips.
"We're just talking about these two ladies that went to another dimension and successfully captured the red stone." Lunia said.
"Oh yeah. I remember that now."
"This is Darius Hyper. He's always known to be an athlete, but here, he's smart. He might not know much, but he's reliable."
"Tch! What?! I do somethin'. I just… do half and half."
"Half and half? Really?"
"He just does one to three of his tasks." Scarlett said.
"No. I do nine to eleven of my tasks." The boy named Darius said.
"You should know that you still need to focus on your tasks." Lunia said with a sweatdrop.
"I do focus on my tasks, mom."
"Really? What does that phone explain to you then, sir?"

"N-Nothing that involves games."
"Give me a break." Lunia said while shaking her head in disbelief.
"Yeah, so the name's Darius Hyper. Y'all can count on me any time. I got yo' back."
"Ok. Thanks." I said with a nervous smile.
"You guys seem… entertaining." Mom said. "Hopefully, you can help keep Kaze company since she doesn't have any friends. Well, she made three yesterday, so I'm hoping you would get along with her."
"Well she seems nice." Zack said. "I mean, we've only met for a couple minutes so of course we would be acquaintances."
"Aside from that, did they really need to pay a visit?" Darius asked.
"Not just to pay a visit, but just to hear us out on the other stones that are from the other dimensions." Lunia said while looking at us.
"At first, I didn't want to TRY to come to your dimension because at first I thought we would fall right into a trap, but I had to suck it up because I wanted to figure out the stones as well. And it was due to Kaze trying to convince me to come since it's not even that scary." Mom explained.
"You know, Kaze, you wanted to act as an adult, huh?" Lunia asked me.
"U-Uh, well that's not true, actually." I said with a sweatdrop. "I wanted to boost Mom's confidence a little so that everything will be fine afterwards. That was when your dimension was actually futuristic to look at from our own eyes."
"Well, our dimension is not scary. If it was scary, then things would've gone downhill from here because nobody is going to recognize what is really happening. I mean, sure, it was slightly wrong of me to tell you girls that we know a lot about the stones that are in five other dimensions including your dimension without having to reveal my identity, but I just didn't want to come to your dimension and talk to you about it because if I did reveal the whole situation to you guys, then the news from your dimension would definitely be trending big. And your army from the dimension that you are currently in, might join the fight in capturing the other stones, taking my whole army out of the picture in order to stop the chaos without even knowing that my army is elite. I just… want the people from the United Kingdom to be safe and let us do our part. Which is to join the fight in the war over capturing the six stones… well five if you exclude the red stone in which you currently have in your hands."
"Yeah, she does have a point." Darius said. "You can't count us out on the fact we are joining in on the search for those stones because who knows what would've happened if you are in danger or if you get surrounded by a group of bad guys if you choose to… have this war all to yourself. Those villains are definitely stronger nowadays and they can erase anyone who stands in their way. Think of Thanos, for example. He's definitely the strongest when it comes to being physical. He's just… inhuman, like he's like this Kaze girl, for example, when it comes to hand-to-hand combat due to the amount of strength that he has. He can definitely weaken you in mere seconds because of this. I mean, if I meant Thanos IRL, I would definitely own that man quickly. He ain't gonna know what is coming to him."
"Own him? I… don't think it makes sense to be honest." Mom said with a sweatdrop.
"Well… according to him, I think he means to defeat him in mere seconds utterly." Lunia said.
"But to do that, it's going to require a lot of training." Scarlett added.
"But to see him in your dimension is way crazier. Your home could change dramatically." Kris said.
"Yeah, we got rumors that Thanos is actually in our dimension to hunt down the stone." Mom said.
"But I'm just still wondering what stone he is looking for." I said. "Because if he is just roaming around for my stone, then that's very odd because he should know that there is another one in our dimension."
"Well… not only that, he's also might be in the hunt for the red stone as well since you brought it back to your world."
"Is he?"
"Well like I said, I record every history in all of the dimensions. So currently, I would say that he may be after that red stone."
"But… I don't even have a good hiding spot now that you say you record every history."
"Do not fret, Kaze. You have the red stone here anyway so I have a good hiding spot so that he won't find the red stone."
"Really?"
"Of course."
Lunia then pressed her button on her remote thingy which spawned a round table that is covered in missing holes that are filled with colors, which are red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and orange.
When I'm looking at those missing holes, those holes look somewhat familiar.
"I have created a table here that might fit the legendary stones. That way, no one is going to recognize where the stone is." Lunia said.
"Oh… well, that's new." I said. I then took a deep breath while looking at the red stone.
"I guess it was not hard taking care of that red legendary stone. Well, kinda." I said.
"We haven't told you the name of the stone, didn't we? What's in your hands is called the Stone of Destruction." Lunia said to me.
"S-Stone of… Destruction?!" I asked while looking shocked.
"Correct. So what you did during your battles with Arfoire, Ecolo and Satan, was that you balled your fists that made the stone glow, allowing it to activate its power. And the Stone of Destruction summoned a giant bomb-like Puyo to take down targets almost immediately only if you look into the person's eyes."
"Goodness, that's very cruel for a stone like this."
"Well, it's not that cruel if you take a look at it." Kris said. "Your opponents are going to get out of your face if you let that bad boy do it's thing."
"I'm gonna be honest with you, I was a little nervous when you were almost on the cusp of losing the battle against Satan, Ecolo and his clones." Scarlett said. "But since that Yamabuki girl helped you regain your momentum, you still had to stand your ground. Mom, on the other hand, would've gone to Primp Town and fend them off."
"That's true. Mom can definitely kick some serious butt." Alexis said.
"You mean booty?" Darius asked.
"Not what I meant!"
"Yeah, let's just call it butt for now." Zack said with a sweatdrop.
"Can you give me a break for once?" Lunia whispered with a facepalm. "I-It's true. I may be the ruler of this dimension, but I still take action in battles. They don't call me Lunia for no reason."
"Oooh. Tell 'em." I heard Darius say.
"Wait, so… you actually attack using moon powers?" Mom asked.
"Correct, Jordyn. I have the ability to attack using moon manipulation."
"Huh. I'm surprised you just learned something at your age." I said to mom with a smile.
"M-M age doesn't mean anything. I just… want to discover it for once." Mom said.
"You never discovered elements, Jordyn?" Alexis asked.
"No, not at all, Alexis. But Kaze does, especially when she is young. For me, I haven't been reading stuff like that since I was little."
"Shocker."
"Anyway, Kaze. Do you wish to hand the stone to me?" Lunia asked.
…
"Well, your world is unknown and no one is even talking about your dimension back in my world… alright, I guess I can trust you."
I handed the stone to Lunia, who then placed the red stone on the correct color of the missing holes. Once she placed the stone on the missing hole.
*GLOW*
"Oh?"
Lunia then stepped back a little as the Stone of Destruction started glowing. A few seconds later, it started floating up in the air and it was spinning for a few seconds. I had no idea what was going on, but it seems to me that something bad is about to happen.
Or so I thought it was about to happen.
After a few seconds of spinning, the stone then stopped spinning and glowing, and was placed back into its original spot.
That moment left all of us with confusion because we all thought the stone was going to do something really bad.
That was weird. Was that stone affected by the hole we placed the stone in?
"Ok. I didn't know what this was all about." Lunia said, looking confused.
"It was probably because the stone and its color was the right choice. So that's why it was glowing like that." Scarlett said.
"So… is this some sort of jigsaw puzzle?" Zack asked.
"No, it's not that. It's just… it sounded random for some reason after I placed the stone in." Lunia said.
"I'm thinking it may be a good thing that we've placed the stone because something good might happen afterwards." Kris said.
"I kinda agree. This world is actually safe anyway so I think it's best if we collect the other stones here." Alexis said.
"But it's gonna be a long run capturing all those stones. We can't let those barbarians capture all of them in time." Darius said.
"Well all of the stones are not gonna show up, Darius. There is a time limit to when they show up."
"A time limit?" I asked after hearing what Lunia just said.
"Oh right. Goddammit! We never told you ladies about the other stones and what dimension they are in minutes ago. I'm just so scatterbrained at this."
"Actually, take your time, Lunia. We're not being impatient. We actually have nothing important to do." Mom said to her.
"You don't?"
"No, not at all."
"It was the only activity we could think of. Just coming to your dimension and all. We can definitely help you out if you want." I offered.
"Ok. If you say so." Lunia then cleared her throat. "So like I said before, there are other stones in other dimensions that are about to arrive in just several days or so. This is due to how much popularity you are creating to your world. The more popular your world is, the higher the chances of summoning the stone from your world. I will reach out to you when a stone has appeared in the dimension it is in. Please, come and look closely as I will show you the other stones that are in five other dimensions."
We then walked up to this flat screen that looked rather big. We saw Lunia swiped right to reveal another legendary stone that looked similar to the red one but it was a different color and a photo that showed a newer location. It looks somewhat… familiar.
"So the yellow legendary stone represents the Stone of Healing. It helps you recover from any injury that you have suffered, and this is located in the Mushroom Kingdom." Lunia explained.
"Mushroom Kingdom? But that is a more friendlier place, is it not?" Mom asked.
"It is, but since it is getting more popular, the stone might come in just several days. However, I don't actually have a timetable for when it might come. I'd say probably… 6 or 8 days? I'm not too sure."
But… I wonder how Mario is going to take it. If he is here.
"Ugh. Not Mushroom Kingdom. That is a more popular place." Alexis whined.
"I agree. It is more popular. I'm with you on this one, Alexis." Lunia said as she then swiped to the next dimension and stone.
"The green stone represents the Stone of Physicality meaning your attacks will be even more unique and powerful, which helps weaken your opponents faster and it is located in Hyrule."
"Oh? That stone kinda reminds me of the Stone of Destruction." I said while looking at the green stone.
"Eh… I wouldn't say that it's similar. Mainly because the red stone has a large radius and could take you out almost instantly."
"Oh…"
"The blue stone represents the Stone of Evolution. It makes you transform into a crazier form than ever, and it is located in a place called Gamindustri. Fun fact. Arfoire lives in that dimension."
"Oh, so that's where Arfoire is. I was hoping I would notice." I said as I got a little curious.
"But although she is a witch, why does she live there? Isn't she just powerless against the heroes that faced her?" Mom asked.
"To be honest, Jordyn, it's a long story. But long story short, she was Gamindustri's only goddess."
"W-Wha… The only goddess of Gamindustri?!" I asked, surprised.
"She's not just the goddess of Gamindustri. There were four other goddesses that took her place to watch over Gamindustri."
"So… what does this have to do with her being a villain?" Mom asked.
"She was the cause of this warfare called the "Console War" as she was putting the goddess against each other as a distraction so that she could spark an apocalypse on Gamindustri by filling it with monsters and trembling all the faith that the people had in their goddesses."
"Wow…" We both looked at each other with surprised looks on her face.
"I had that same reaction when I first noticed that." Darius said.
"Thinking that she wants to put her own dimension into an apocalypse is just sad." Zack said. "She rules the whole world so I wouldn't suggest sparking an apocalypse now."
"You do have a point. *sigh* Putting those four goddesses against each other as a distraction… are the goddesses ok by any chance?" I asked.
"Yes, they look alright to me. Nothing has happened yet so they should be good for now." Lunia said.
"Ok. Fair enough."
"Anyway, moving on." Lunia then swiped to the next stone and location.
"The purple stone represents the Stone of Time. This stone makes other people move slower and talk slower when you look into their eyes. It's located in Takaoka, Japan."
"Takaoka, Japan? I thought you said there were five dimensions." I asked.
"Oh? Is… Japan not a dimension?" Lunia asked, looking confused.
"No. The United Kingdom and Japan are two different countries, but… who is trying to find the purple stone in Takaoka?"
"Well… there are four clones that look like four girls in Japan that are named Akari Akaza, Kyōko Toshinō, Yui Funami, and Chinastu Yoshikawa. I haven't figured who they actually are, but they have actually been sent there to hunt down those stones."
"Four clones? There's not that many clones here in the United Kingdom. At least, not at all." Mom said.
"That's true, but someone or something else might have been the reason they've shown up in the first place and I haven't had the details just yet."
"It was just our first time recognizing them in Japan." Scarlett said.
"I wonder how those four… non-clones are going to take it since the clones look exactly like them." I said.
"They are doing pretty fine, but they don't actually know that their clones have appeared in their country. It's quite odd to be honest." Lunia said.
"This is going to sound bad for them. And they don't have anything to defend themselves. So winning against the clones is an impossibility unless we figure something out."
"I know. And I'll have to send them an invite to our dimension so that they can learn to become stronger and defend themselves. We can't have them lose to their own clones."
"That'd be a smart move." Mom said. "And since the United Kingdom and Japan are in the same dimension as we live in, we can definitely have more power to beat down Thanos. If he is still here."
"Speaking of the United Kingdom, I honestly forgot where the Stone of Protection is located around there."
Scarlett said.
"Well… according to my map it appears to be somewhere on the rooftops of a building." Lunia said. "I just don't know what that specific building is to be quite honest. I'm going to look down."
Lunia then scrolled down on the map to find the building that has the orange stone at the rooftops.
How the heck did that stone get all the way up there?!
"It's at a clothing store called "Next". That's… strange."
(Fun Fact: Next is actually a store that has clothing, footwear, and home products in England.)
"At the rooftop in Next? Other people are gonna find us up there if we find that stone." Mom said.
"She does have a point, mom." Kris said. "I also wouldn't be surprised if there were security cameras on the rooftop. They are going to receive a lot of footage of us up there without us giving them any reason."
"Security Cameras?"
Lunia scrolled up to find the security cameras at the rooftop.
"But… the security cameras are only facing the cities at the corners but not the whole… area of the rooftop."
"Oh. I thought they were facing the whole area. That's what it looked like at first."
"But why would it be on a rooftop?" Alexis asked. "This whole flash of light process puts the stones into random places, huh? That's just futile in my opinion."
"It is futile, but I believe that's just how it is, Alexis." Lunia said.
"*sigh* This task is gonna be difficult to solve even though they are in the corners." I whispered to mom.
"I know. It's going to be hard figuring out how we should get up there anyway." Mom said.
"So… Lunia, did all other stones arrive yet except for the United Kingdom and the Mushroom Kingdom?" I asked.
"Well… for the blue stone, the estimated day is 13 days, the green stone has estimated 11 days, and the purple stone is estimated for 16 days." Lunia said.
"So… are you saying that… you want us to bring back the four— well I don't want the apocalypse to start anytime soon if the other villains manage to capture all the stones even though I gave the red stone to you because I don't think I'm ready… but… the orange stone seems very hard to grab with security cameras facing the other area, not just the rooftop area, and people are gonna find us easily up there."
"Hmm… I'll see if I can find a way to pinpoint the location so that no one can find us for now. The system for warping to different areas is not yet complete. We are at 81 percent completing it. Hopefully, Thanos doesn't beat us to it."
"*sigh* I know." Mom said. "He's already starting to become a worldwide phenomenon nowadays with him just lurking in the shadows to find one of the missing pieces to this whole scrutiny."
"Well we already know that he is working alongside Satan, Ecolo and Arfoire. But, coming from Thanos, how does he get along with those three anyway? Doesn't he know them by any chance?" I asked.
"He did know them." Darius said. "It's just the location for their gameplan of taking the stones so that they spark an apocalypse is unknown. Just like how our world is unknown. So we are not actually sure who is recruiting the eight villains to make them collect the stones for him or her."
"Well… at least once we find all those stones, we can have more intel on this mysterious person and what he or she is plotting. If that's what the stones do." Zack said.
"Or better yet, maybe Thanos may be the mastermind of all this since not only does he know about the infinity stones, but he also learns about these legendary stones. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Thanos was the one who started these shenanigans in the first place." Kris explained.
"But he wasn't the cause of this, Kris." Scarlett said to him. "The stones spawned from a flash of light. Mainly because of the popularity of all… five dimensions including Kaze's dimension that makes the energy fill up the stone to become usable and spawn from a flash of light. Although your prediction is understandable."
"Yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from on that one." Lunia said.
"So do you want to keep this whole situation a secret and not tell anyone?" Mom asked.
"Not even my friends?" I added.
"Not until I give the green light on the friend's part." Lunia said.
So if she gives the green light… *sigh* I wonder how Blue is going to take it if I tell her the whole situation of what all this shenanigans is about. Because if I'm tasked with this whole stone battle solo, then I might be finding myself in an unhealthy situation then I was before. Back when Rulue almost killed me in the process of searching for the Stone of Destruction a few days ago. I have a feeling that I'm gonna need some backup when we're doing this. If Lunia would allow me to have my friends take part in this.
"Alright. The news back in the United Kingdom is only talking about Thanos' arrival so we are gonna keep this a secret." I said.
"And besides, the details and the other dimensions have helped us understand this whole investigation the entire way through." Mom added. "To be honest, my daughter always wanted to play the hero's role by using magic. So she can be a huge weapon for you guys."
"Y-You didn't need to put it like that." I said to my mom with a nervous grin.
"Be honest, Kaze. Remember had you taken the leading role back in Primp Town?" Kris asked.
"Yeah, watching you fight Satan and Ecolo looked very new to me." Zack added.
"Well… taking the protagonist role was a pivotal task for me, but I still had a lot of time to jump over that hurdle and take down those two in an instant." I said. "I guess playing Puyo Puyo not only made me a strong magic user, but made me have control over my own powers for whenever I want to use it."
"Yeah but aren't you more of a laid-back type of person?" Darius asked me. "Because I think of you as a secondary type of person the more I look at you and describe you."
"I mean, she's just new to this whole stone situation." Mom said. "At first, we didn't understand it until we had to do some research although I was not the first one to discover it until Kaze told me about it after the flash of lights had appeared out of nowhere."
"It's going to be a long journey. It really really is." Alexis said. "It's going to take a lot of fighting skills to get me into a better position to be successful for a woman like me of course."
"What do you guys do to attack?" I asked.
"Uhh…" Everyone was unsure of how to put it.
"Well… I'll explain it a little later, Kaze, to be quite honest." Lunia said.
"Ok. No worries." I said as I didn't want to push that topic any further.
"So I think that's all we have to say for now." Lunia said as she was all out of ideas on what to do.
"Well to be honest, I really want to explore this place more." Mom said.
"We don't really have anything to do like we said. Your dimension is way more fun than it used to be." I said.
"You still have interest in this place?" Lunia asked us.
"Yup." We both asked.
"I mean… It's getting boring around here anyway. So I want to find something fun to do." Kris asked.
"Yeah, true." Darius asked.
"Well… since you complimented my own dimension, I guess we'll take this time to hang out together." Lunia said. "Having this pep talk with you two was kinda tiring in my opinion. So I guess we can do something that will help wake me up for a little while."
"Trust us, Kaze. You'll definitely lose your mind on all the things that are there." Kris asked.
"Ok. If you say so." I said with a smile.
"Looks like you have more people to rely on." Mom whispered to me.
"I agree. I actually don't know what to say about it." I whispered back.
"Having to have two people from one different dimension hang out with us feels kinda new to me." Scarlett said.
"You know, Scarlett, I can't agree more." Mom said.
She truly does have a point there.
Author's Note: NEW DIMENSION ALERT! Hyperdrive City is the name of the unknown dimension that Kaze is now going to. I crossed off Hyperdrive Metropolis and changed it to Hyperdrive City since it makes a lot more sense to me. Not only do we have Hyperdrive City, but six new characters that are added into this. The Hyper Family. Goddess Lunia Hyper, Kris Hyper, Scarlett Hyper, Darius Hyper, Alexis Hyper, and Zack Hyper. Those six will also play a primary role into this story since they have recorded history about all other dimensions. To be honest, I just love Hyperdrive City, even though I just made it up as Futuristic and it doesn't actually exist fictionally and nobody talks about it. But that's just my opinion.
So about the people who want to know about Lunia. Just to make things understandable. The Goddess of the Moon is actually Selene. I learned a lot about Greek Mythology just to know that Selene is the Goddess of the Moon. As for Lunia, she's not like Selene. She's only a goddess, AND she's the ruler for just Hyperdrive City. She's not actually the Goddess of the Moon. I didn't put her that way. Imagine her and Selene face off for the Goddess of the Moon. That battle would've been intense. Because Lunia takes moon manipulation very seriously. For proof, I would take a look at her one more time and her actual name. Then you might get the gist of it.
So I switched things up a bit. I had to change the Stone of Humor from Yuru Yuri to the Stone of Time. The Stone of Humor doesn't actually make a lot of sense to me. I hope you guys feel the same way and I do too. I have my thought of what the Stone of Humor does but that thought would not make any sense for you guys so I had to switch the name of the stone to the Stone of Time. I thought that name would be better for you guys. I actually think it's a good one in my opinion.
I also had to edit some chapters as well. It didn't seem right to me when I was going back to read some chapters so I had to edit them out so if you are that interested in what those mistakes were, please feel free to do so. Don't get it twisted though. It's just a teeny tiny bit of error.
