Chapter 34: The Dimension Invitation Plan

"*sigh*"

I was still up at night walking around outside and it was a little chilly outside. But it didn't bother me at all as I wore a purple hoodie with a light purple "The North Face" symbol on the top left side, along with white jeans and purple and white sneakers.

I know. I was supposed to be in bed. But I needed this alone time because…

...ok I'll get straight to the point. I feel like… I know I'm getting more comfortable with so many people that are gaining interest towards me, but I have a feeling that they might feel suspicious of me moving forward. Because what they don't know about me is that I have the ability to use dark magic. And I really feel like I'm seeing myself as a villain in this predicament. If I were to really tell them the element of my magic and show them proof, then everyone is going to start turning their attention towards me and I have to explain the whole situation and they are going to be involved in trying to capture the six stones. Although Hyperdrive City is hidden. And I have a HUGE feeling that they are going to put me out of the picture because Thanos, for some reason, is the biggest story here in Liverpool. And those people found him very odd because he was only here for just several days and he's been… working his tail off just to give himself a golden opportunity to steal the orange stone. Now I really know why Lunia wants me to keep this whole objective as a secret.

That's why I chose to have some time alone even though it's nighttime. Because I have Blue to back me up on this. Xavier and Lucas… I know they both are reliable when it comes to games and they know what they do, but… I'm just trying to think about people who are new to dimensions that they never heard of. Xavier and Lucas might have heard of everything because they play games all the time.

I know I appreciate them knowing a lot about games, and I would like to use their help, but… even then I would still have to look for other people that have the guts to use magic. I would take Blue in this objective since she knows how badly she needs magic. And I can trust her since she wants the ability to use it. I mean, Xavier and Lucas don't even know about it. Not if I were to ask them.

But all of that aside, I went to a nearby bench, pulled out my phone and started looking on Google for some more news on Thanos. When I was scrolling around, there seemed to be a lot of news about his arrival here.

For a supervillain like him, he really is trending big. I should've just stayed here until I find the stone. But after not knowing it in the first place, he unexpectedly finds it. I guess it really doesn't matter now that he's got it. Hopefully I can cross paths with him in the future.

I kept scrolling and scrolling… and there was a bunch of news talking about Thanos' arrival. These news are no joke about Thanos coming here. And they are not alone. In fact, it starts to sound similar to when Arfoire was here at that Suzuran Beach party. But I'm surprised Thanos did not do the same strategy Arfoire was doing because even then, my mother would have been on the ropes just like everyone who was at the beach party was.

I wish I could've explained to the people who were at the beach party the situation that was going on. I felt bad for their time being cancelled.

And as soon as I was going deeper through the sites, one piece of news literally caught my attention which I actually did not expect to see in the first place.

I saw this report saying that Next saw video footage of Thanos being on the roof and picking up the orange stone, and then leaving the area using the portal. And not only that, people on social media are claiming that he is trying to add another stone in his gauntlet hand. I was glad to hear that people here are taking it the wrong way because I really don't want them to know what he's really trying to do with it. Besides, everyone thinks it's impossible to travel through dimensions anyway.

So they say Thanos is adding another stone to his gauntlet hand instead of taking it to the mastermind. Alright, that's good enough. Maybe I should try to keep my magic and my personal belief on why Thanos is here to myself. One risky move would lead to people asking me various amounts of questions. And I can't shatter our private promise that me and Lunia gave each other.

I was scrolling down the report and it was just showing information on how Thanos arrived and how many people have seen it. It was kinda expected for the country that didn't know what Thanos was planning to do with it. I certainly believe I have the guts to grab more information on what's going to happen. This certainly feels like I'm going undercover. And I've never done this before in my entire life.

Grabbing the stones in Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, Gamindustri, and in Japan is not gonna be easy since the villains are gonna be extremely quick in finding the stones, but on the bright side, I secured the red stone so that's something we should be happy about. For now. But there's still more work to be done. That's why I say I would have to trust Blue for when we are going on adventures because even then, I would still be able to help her reach her goal on what she always wanted to do.

Speaking of trusting Blue, a thought came into my mind not too long ago.

Should Lunia want backup? I always thought Blue would be the better fit on the team, now that I think about her. Hmm…

I started to read the article one more time to figure out if I can remember this important piece here because I want to see if I can get Lunia to require a few more friends on the mission or if she wants me to team up with Alexis, Darius, Scarlett, Kris and Zack. It's a tough decision, but I'm thinking it might be adding a few more people is what Lunia wants. It's like finding the proper blueprints.

So let's see… I already know that Thanos is gone with the stone… for like the seventh time now… but wait, I totally forgot. How did he come here with his minions? Did Thanos fill them in on this big current task that is going on? If he did, then it would be best if I recruited more people so that I don't be alone against troops that are a higher level than me. It would totally be unfair. And besides, having just five HCUs isn't gonna be enough to stop all five villains. All of this is going to require working together. In other words, having more people to come in as HCUs and going to each world there is. And I believe that's what I believe Lunia is trying to do. Maybe I'll talk about it with Blue. I want to see what she thinks about this situation that we're in.

Hmm… but first I want to see who this Gemma girl really is anyway.

I then went back on Google and started looking for results on who Gemma really is, now that mom stated that she has seen her on a Royal Rally poster and now I want to see who she really is.

And after getting the results, there were a lot of results that had her name and how she looks. So I just clicked on a site to get her info.

I know what you readers are thinking. I'm already sounding like a tech geek. I'm not actually. I'm just trying to get myself caught up on a couple of things. I don't want to erase the important events.

So she has long blonde hair and blue eyes. Her full name is Gemma January. She is the same age as me, born on December 7th. So she is three days older than me and she is already starting to become popular, although she has not earned a Royal Rally title yet. That's really interesting to hear. Alright, so that's another thing I'll try to remember. Nevertheless, I now know who Gemma is. Hopefully she is feeling safe for now.

Alright, if I stay out here for too long, my mother is gonna start to find me, so I should go back home and sleep.

I got up from the bench and started heading back home. By the way, I was trying to find a more private place where I can spend my me-time at night. I just wanted to after hearing about who Gemma is and mentally thinking about what people are saying about Thanos' and how I feel about the situation moving forward. If he were to appear in the Puyo dimension, most of us including Arle, Ringo, Amitie and Raffina would've been in jeopardy when it comes to the health that Thanos has and he would physically… knockout all of us. Those four don't know how strong that guy is. I mean… I don't watch Avengers movies, but Dad recommended this.

J-Just ask him. He knows the answer.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

*ALARM SOUND*

"*moan*"

I woke up and checked my phone to see that it was 7:30 in the morning. I set my alarm that time because I don't want to oversleep again. I felt like I did just that through several days now. So I decided an alarm on my phone would do the trick.

I got up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, wash my face and all of that stuff. After what I did last night, it turns out that I'm not sleepy this morning. I went to bed before this happened. I woke up at 11:42 PM before going outside and did what I needed to do.

Luckily, mom doesn't notice about this, although I haven't said anything about this.

Ok, maybe she has to have me in bed at night. It's guess that's just how adults actually take it to their own kids.

She must be worried about me from day one when I was born. I wish there were more relationships (I'm not saying it should change.) like this.

After doing these requirements, I went downstairs only to see mom not in the kitchen which leads to me the only person down there.

That's odd. I thought mom is the first person to wake up in the morning.

No matter. I'll let her do her.

I went into the kitchen, grabbed a box of cereal and started making it in no less than 25 seconds. It wasn't a daily routine. It was just how fast I could do it. I didn't want to in the first place, but I figured that it would help get my body moving.

I sat down on the chair and ate my cereal as I waited for mother's arrival. Also, while eating my cereal, I looked on my phone to see if I received any text messages or notifications. I don't get these often, but I'm just making sure I get caught up on everything.

I guess it's another day of me wanting my peace time. As expected.

As I was doing two things at the same time…

"Looks like someone is up early." I then heard my mother say as she was coming towards the living room.

"Good morning, mother." I said as I was continuing to eat my cereal.

"Good morning, pumpkin. Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin patch. Pumpkin everything…"

"That's too much." I said with a sweatdrop.

"Come on, pumpkin. You are up and at it, eating cereal in 7:44 in the morning. I've never seen you like this before, coming downstairs before I do."

"Well… that's because I set my alarm that time. I know it's the summer but I feel like being overslept is going to be way too uncomfortable for me."

"It's ok. I believe most teenagers oversleep in the summertime. But I've never seen you up this early today. You are trying to keep yourself motivated, are you?"

"Well… only to go to Hyperdrive City."

"Are you sure you want to go there alone? You don't need me to lend you assistance?" Mom asked.

"I'll be fine. It's not like I'm gonna be harmed or anything. Besides, I can go there with a friend, right? We both will look out for each other."

"Well, sure I can give you a pass, but I'm just hoping you just be safe because you won't have any transportation there."

"I'll be safe. I'm always safe. It's a hidden dimension, regardless and I'm pretty sure Lunia doesn't have anything important for me."

"You do have a point… alright. I guess you are you."

"Mhm."

"But in the end, I might be just the person alone… again."

"You're not alone. Not when I'm here. It's just… nowadays I'm being dragged into finding something that is important not only in this country, but for the entire world. I don't want to get myself troubled here."

"I believe you. I'm just saying it's going to be another long series of adventures that you are going to go on. It'll be extremely difficult with you alone."

"I won't be alone. I got friends that can help me out… it's just that I might need a recommendation on who will be the perfect fits for the group that we will form in."

"So what do you think will be the better decision? Would you take all three of your friends?"

"Um… that's something I'm gonna have to think about in the next few days because that's when the stones start to appear in the other dimensions."

"Ok. As long as you think wisely on what you are gonna do before you get everything set up."

"Trust me. I will find the best route. Although those dimensions are somewhat gaming dimensions, excluding Japan since it's just a country."

"Now that I think about it, I have your father as well. I think he can keep me company while you do your thing."

"You want dad back?"

"I'm just saying if he's free. Hopefully his response can please me a little."

"Well, let the bickering continue." I said with a sweatdrop.

"We're not gonna be quarreling. Trust me. It's not gonna happen."

"I'm still predicting that it'll still happen."

"It'll not I just said. It's just… it's him not doing anything for me."

Typical dad.

"Alright, whatever. I'm just hoping you and him will be fine together."

"*sigh* It's like we're both without a child. But you are 16, so I think you have the guts to do such a thing."

"Yeah… I'm really sure this mission doesn't get difficult to deal with."

"Hell, you are diligent, Kaze."

"Yeah, Yeah, I know that. It's just… When it comes to games outside of Pac-Man, it'll be way too hard to figure out the power of an opponent because the other villains send reinforcements of their own and I have a feeling that I'm no match for them so a lot of training would help kick things up rapidly."

"I guess it sure is a tough task to master now that you say. I really wish to figure out who is behind all of this."

"I don't even know. I'm not sure if it's someone strong… he or she hasn't really revealed him or herself yet. I guess there's still much to learn about nowadays."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

I then checked my phone to see that it was Blue texting me early in the morning. It was a rarity of course because I thought she would still be asleep in the morning.

"That's Blue?" Mom asked.

"Mhm." I said.

I went into my text messages and checked Blue's message.

"Good Morning, Kaze. Are you free today?" She texted.

"What did she say?" Mom asked.

"She asked if I was free today." I said.

"Yes, I'm free. I wanted to ask you something anyway. But did you need something?" I texted.

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"No no, go ahead. I'll let you ask first."

"You told me if I was free today, so it seemed to me that you wanted me to do something for you."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"No, I didn't need you to do something for me. I just wanted to ask you if I can to come over to your house later. I mean if you're bored."

"She's asking me if she wants to come over to my house if I was bored." I said.

"Come over? To your house?" Mom asked.

"Mhm."

"She doesn't know where we live? How can we figure that out?"

"I'll just text her and say that."

"But I don't know where you live. It's gonna be hard to find you in this city." I texted her.

It's gonna be hard to find each other anyway since I'm predicting she lives very far away.

Or…

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"My house isn't that far if that's what you are thinking. I take a walk to the library since it's also not that far from where I am. The park isn't that far either. So I think it will be easier for you."

"Although you gave me a bit of evidence, I still don't believe we have the exact location." I texted her.

"Would you still allow this?" I asked mom.

"I mean, I don't know if her parents can allow this or I can allow this. Does she have anyone taking care of her at the moment?"

"Do your parents know about this?" I texted her.

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"Actually, they did."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"They noticed that they seemed really interested in you so they approved of me being your friend. Not only that, they told me that I never had a friend who is a female so this is my first time doing such a thing so they instantly approved this."

So she's more like us in a way.

"Looks like she's being honest right there." Mom said.

"I mean, if this is her being serious, then there's no way we can decline such an honest answer."

"Do you want to ask her where she lives?" Mom asked.

"Well… I can't leave her without a yes or no response so I might as well have to crack the dead silence." I said after thinking about it.

"Do you know where you live?" I texted Blue.

"I have a strong feeling that you two will get along for a long period of time. It seems nowadays you two do what you love doing at the same time. And it seems really nice. For me." Mom said.

"Yeah, I never expected Blue, from the very start, to learn more about magic the same way. At first, I didn't know if she must be a popular girl or if she wants to be recognized more easily." I said.

"Yeah. It really is rare now that I think about her.

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"I live in Cyan Sage Crescent."

"Cyan Sage Crescent?" I texted.

"Cyan Sage Crescent?" Mom asked.

"That's a weird name for an address." I said with a sweatdrop.

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"I kinda like that name actually. I never thought it was going to be named that way."

50 percent of me thinks it's weird, and 50 percent of me thinks otherwise.

"Well at least you have pointed out the location. Me and my mom will see what we can do to get you here."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"So that's a yes?"

"What do you think, mom?" I asked.

"I mean why not? She seems like a really nice person and I bet you two can make things more interesting so of course." Mom said.

"Well, alright." I said as I gave in.

"It's a yes." I text. "I bet you are easy to get along with anyway."

*sigh* Blue is really trusting. And does seem like a nice and mature girl.

"Wow, thanks, Kaze. I promise I'll keep you company. Trust me."

I giggled a bit at her response.

"She seems really excited to see you. Now there is someone that will help keep you entertained for a little while." Mom said. "However, it is way too early to be doing that now."

"Too early?" I asked.

"Oh yeah. You're right. It's still morning."

"You can text her that we'll pick her up at 4:45 PM."

4:45?! That's just way too long!

"Alright." I said as I gave in.

"I'll come pick you up later. Like at 4:45 PM. I know it seems long, but we just gotta get prepared and stuff like that." I texted.

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"I guess I can chew up that much time. The second half of the day is surprisingly gonna be fun."

"Well I never thought someone like you asked to come over. But it's for the better at the least. For me." I texted.

"I must say… your relationship with her is gonna get even bigger." Mom said.

...

"Yeah. When 4:45 passes." I said with a small smile.

*4:45 PM*

"She sure is hard to find in this area." Mom said as we searched for Blue's house for 10 minutes.

"Well, this is our first time here so hopefully she can help us navigate her location." I said.

"Text her and see where she is at."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"I'm on my way outside."

"Alright. But where are you exactly? We've been looking for your house but you never told us the location." I texted.

"You know, shouldn't we have done this too early?" I asked mom.

"Yes. I just gotta figure out where she is on my own first before letting you have permission to go to her house. Otherwise we'll find ourselves in a "Ring-Around-The-Rosie" type of situation. It'll get harder then to figure out."

"Understandable."

"Are you… uncomfortable with Blue coming here? Like you don't feel up to it?" I asked mom while looking at her.

"What? No, I'm perfectly fine. I'm just a little concerned about what the both of you will be doing."

"Oh. Well at least I have you, so I'm sure you won't be lonely."

"I don't get lonely. This is you and Blue that we're talking about so I'm sure you will find something to do. I'm just hoping that… you both would find something to do. Maybe you can… watch a movie, play PAC-Man, anything."

"Hmm… those are good suggestions— maybe I can ask Blue what movies she likes. Maybe something that is related to what I do."

*NOTIFICATION CHIME*

"When you enter the area, if you turn right, I live several houses down. Maybe seven or eight houses. I should be over there." Blue said.

"*sigh* And we are so far away from where we are." I whispered.

"What did she say?" Mom asked.

"She said after we get through the entrance, we have to make a right and she is several houses from where she is."

"Good Grief. Ok, I'm on it." Mom said.

I'm now starting to notice that Mom feels stressed out about this.

Ok, maybe I'm overreacting a little. Plus, I believe she said what she said.

"You know what would be insane, Kaze?" Mom asked. "Take Blue, Lucas, Xavier… Arle, Ringo, Amitie and Raffina here in our house. Do you know how crazy that would be? It'll be like a house party if you ask me."

"Yeah… a house party."

Just like the one that I had a few weeks ago back in Primp Town. I would totally get them to meet my friends back there. Even Raffina. And I know she is gonna tease me more. I can sense it.

"I mean, I wish to have Raffina to do all the work if we ever host. Like you know, grab the food, games, all that sort of stuff. Even you, actually. You both have money and I don't."

"You'll get money, Kaze. I mean, for now, I'll give you allowance until you turn 18. That way you can start off fresh in buying what you need."

Well I… *sigh*...Let's just hope I know what I'm doing with it.

"Yeah, and I get it and all, but I'm just saying in the near future if we EVER have one."

"Huh… maybe I could have Raffina tease you all day while I do my thing."

"That won't be on her "to do" list." I said with an annoyed look.

"That's what I believe. Although she's a rich girl, she can still lend you some funny jokes or all that other stuff out there."

"So you are trying to become her all of the sudden, yes?" I asked with a sweatdrop. "It's actually way too sudden to mimic a rich girl who… probably is the same age as me."

"Sudden? Well, kinda. But I'm just stating my prediction and it would sorta happen in the near future."

"Well… I guess that you are more welcome into Raffina's world then. If two "Raffinas" can try to tease me, then that means I would love to enjoy hitting the both of you."

"Really?" Mom asked with a sweatdrop. "But, it's not gonna happen, really. I just want to be myself for the record and I will always be there for you, no matter the obstacle that you are stuck in."

"Yeah, I can still see right through you. That is one of the things I would love to experience in the future. Just being cool, calm and collected. In that case, that's just our strength of course."

"That's true. Is that her?" She asked as she was looking at a girl with long blue hair.

"Yes. I believe that's her." I said after noticing her description.

"*sigh* I can't wait to see how this plays out."

*HONK*

As Mom honked her car, We saw Blue get spooked a little bit before recognizing us. I got confused at one point, but then let it go afterwards because I thought at one point that she got scared of the horn that mom honked.

"Hiya, Kaze. Jordyn." Blue said as she got into our vehicle.

"Good evening, Blue." I said to her.

"Hey, Blue. How are you?" Mom said to her.

"I'm doing good, Jordyn." Blue said to mom. "I somehow got bored before 4:45 passed. I would normally read my books but I got bored all of the sudden."

"I thought you loved reading books, no?" I asked Blue.

"It's true. I was just saying. It's a bit peculiar for me, and I'm not sure where that came from."

"Well, at least we got you out of the smoke, don't you think?"

"Out of the smoke? What do you mean?" Blue asked as she was confused by Mom's answer.

"I mean, we got you out of boredom. Which is a good thing."

"Oh. It is a good thing for me. I'm just happy to see you guys is all. It's only the second consecutive day that we've met."

"Well… have you ever had consecutive days where you go to someone's house only to hang out."

"No. It hasn't always been my thing. It's only Xavier that does that."

"Xavier? He goes outside all the time?" I asked.

"Yeah. Although he's a gaming geek, he does what he does. Which is to just go outside. You know, he finds something to do. What's really annoying is that he just stops by for our food to snarf on."

"D-Doesn't he have food at home?!" I shouted, looking surprised.

"That's my same reaction! No wonder he has his own food to eat! Luckily he's got a job."

"He stops by for food?" Mom asked.

"Just being lazy to pick up what he has in the kitchen when he first gets himself prepared is just like... part of his routine. It's like an excessive pain that you cannot stop."

What a weirdo. I'm glad we didn't have to go through that.

"I mean, the good thing is, once you get your paychecks, you can buy the food that you need." Mom said. "Just know what ingredients or other stuff you really need in order to cook something. You both are gonna turn 18 soon so I'm gonna make sure you get right when you cook very good meals because one slip-up could be a disaster."

"Yeah, I might want to learn from you someday." I said.

"Same here. I might look horrible when doing this." Blue said.

"Don't say that. You can do it." Mom encouraged Blue. "I just… I don't want you to make a huge mistake when you're cooking. It'll take a lot of practice before you know that you have the skills."

"Ok. I forgot to tell you that I attempted to cook one time with my mother and… it didn't go well for me as I burned my pancakes and eggs one time. I regretted it afterwards."

"Well it is your first time doing it. So I say you'll get another shot at it. Just pretend that the first try was a bust." I said.

"But as much as I don't want to reminisce about that cooking failure, at least my big sister helps me out on what I want to eat."

"I still have a feeling that you don't want to do cooking again." I said.

"Well, even though I'm still a novice, I gotta work hard at the adult stage because it's gonna get harder then so I have to put a lot of effort to get to where I need to be."

"Well, that is reasonable when you put it like that."

"It's just like the two of you. Trying to make something good happen without needing my help." Mom said.

"Well, I haven't turned 18 yet. Maybe I'll see what I can do by the time I reach that point." I said.

"You have the diligence so I believe you might want to start thinking about going to a top-tier college."

"Top-tier? Well I've thought of that due to me being smart and all but going to a better college? I might need to think about that first."

"Well, it is a lot to think about if you are really smart in every subject you take. And I am that kind of girl. But in college, it is a lot to think about." Blue said.

"Is it a lot to go over in college?" I asked mom.

"Yeah but it's gonna depend on what you do." Mom said.

"Oh."

I have a lot of tough decisions heading my way after high school. Crud.

"Alright. Here we are. So what do you think?" Mom asked as we now arrived at my house.

"It's really nice. I'd say it's a little bit better than my house of course." Blue said.

"I was just surprised when we first moved here, it was like this and there were no neighborhood homes around here. I don't know why for some reason." Mom said.

"It's fine. There's a lot of houses that are just alone and you don't see them near each other at all."

"I didn't have a problem with it from the start. I just know that it is a really good house." I said.

Just like the one back in Primp Town.

"Alright. Let's go inside." Mom said as we all entered inside.

"*sniff* It also smells good here. Did you two try to keep the house clean?" Blue asked as she sniffed the inside.

"Yeah. We did a lot of chores and stuff like that. There were not that many people here, so it was only us." I said.

"Only you two? I'm just glad I came over. I just… wanted you to not be bored here so this was the only thing I could think of."

"You don't have to worry about us, Blue." Mom said. "We have our own things that we love doing so much, so it's not really a bother."

"I understand, but… not having anyone in your house every year is not really that… interesting. I wish to help you make it more entertaining as it is."

"Blue…" I said as I didn't know what to say about this.

"I mean… Come on, Kaze. I want to help you all the way. Didn't we agree to having our relationship lasting as long as we can go? We can talk about what we like best. We can help each other with our dreams of what we do best until the very end. I don't want you to be the only person that doesn't get all the attention that you deserve. I'm just… helping you out since you really interest me a lot and I want to be your friend that you truly deserve."

Yeah. If I can become friends with Arle, Ringo, Amitie, Raffina and all the others that were with me the whole time that I was in Primp Town and Suzuran City, followed by the Hyperdrive City Family, which is Scarlett, Alexis, Darius, Kris and Zack, and support them the entire way through, then there's no way I can turn my back on Blue. Besides, she's the only person that shares the interest as I do.

"Kaze?"

"Thank you, Blue." I said to her.

"Huh?"

"Actually, you are right. I've had a couple of friends back in the dimension where I studied magic that seem interesting and we became friends the day that I met them until the day when I came back home. Just here. They've supported me. They've had my back. We had a lot of fun memories together. Including a friend of mine who's always known for toughness. I kinda appreciated the way they've been keeping me company. And you might be the same way as them. So… I can't stop paying attention to you. At all. You are nice, I'm nice. Even my mom is nice. So… I appreciate you taking it a step further for me."

"You definitely know what friends are for, Kaze." Blue said with a smile.

"Yeah. To help each other until the very end."

"It really is heartwarming to hear from the two of you. Growing your relationship and helping each other until the very end. That was really expected."

"Well I'm sure you'll continue your relationship with

Ms. Sparr." I said.

"Don't worry, Kaze. It'll be just like the two of you. I have a strong feeling that our friendship will never be broken."

"I'm still kinda jealous how you two met for a very long time. And how you continued your relationship at the library." Blue said.

"I mean, we have been friends since middle school so there's no way I would give up on her."

"Yeah, I know. I'm just saying it personally." Blue said.

"But it's still random that she just got to Liverpool. Although I haven't noticed in the first place." I said.

"Yeah… it's just slipped out. It was hard for me to figure out these familiar faces. I also wasn't expecting her to come here either. As a librarian here." Mom said.

"I have a feeling that she books too."

"She reads sometimes, but she can definitely be a huge help in the library." Blue said. "When I first noticed her, I thought she would be a takes-things-way-too-seriously type of librarian, but the more I gave her a chance, the more I started to take a liking to her. Mainly because she knows I'm an innocent girl and I attend to help her out in any way."

"Oh well, that's good news. Hopefully this can keep up."

"You know it."

"Anyway, you girls do what you want. I'll go ahead and make some snacks and stuff."

"Alright, mom. You wanna see my room?" I asked Blue.

"Sure. I'd like that." Blue said.

"Ok, it's upstairs. Come on." I said.

We both headed upstairs and I showed Blue where my room is. I never showed anyone my room before. Blue on the other hand… she is my first guest to step into my own room. I don't know what to say actually.

I know it's going to be the two of us that will be having conversations a lot since we know a lot of books and magic so I have a strong feeling that we won't be bored with us having to talk about what we love doing the most. So talking to Blue more would make things more interesting to me. It's sort of a new era for me.

I think of Blue as Ciel nowadays. But who Blue is… that's just normally how she is. She's just mature and smart in books. But Ciel on the other hand… she seems to be diligent at everything. Maybe very distinguished then Blue when you talk about how diligent they both are. As for Blue… I may not be so sure yet. I have to figure her out more. I believe she's gotta be on— I'll think about it. Another time.

"Man, you have everything in your room purple. As expected of course." Blue said as she was looking around.

"Yeah. It is always expected. I just wanted to do a little decorating in order to make it more cool." I said.

"Oh so you were trying to be a cool person?" Blue asked.

"Um… erm… it's not like that. That was just how I made it. I mean, you might've thought that I had a lot of fantasy or other stuff that involved magic, but I just like it how I want it." I said.

"Overall, I kinda like it. It's somewhat better than my room. I don't want to talk about it though since it's not that… stylish."

"Don't worry about it. I'm not a room critic or anything since I know you. You are a book lover like me, no?"

"Yes. I mean, I'm still kinda jealous that you have that dark magic inside you. This whole thing was supposed to be fake, until you made the fake realistic."

"Well… I kinda saw myself as a villain when I first recognized my powers. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I wanted to study my powers. And just using dark magic was the only thing I could think of. It's still odd to see how I really came back to this world with… such crazy attacks with the powers I'm currently using. It still feels like you're no match for me whenever we do battle. You know where I'm getting at?"

"Yes, I know. Seeing you with magic of your own. It seems like if you were to reveal it to everyone, the news might trend enormously because none of this was supposed to be real in the first place. You might make the whole world a new era to begin with. This time, it just involves magic. But, on my end, I still don't want this to happen actually. Because I have a feeling everyone is not gonna take magic seriously. You know… it all kinda goes back to what you said about not having to tell anyone about your powers. You wanted to go undercover and help someone from this futuristic dimension you were talking about."

Blue then went silent for a bit. Soon afterwards, she said this that I never actually expected. But that was what I was wanting to ask her before she wanted to ask me something this morning.

"If you're willing to do that, then you should sign me up for this stone-hunting too. We both know what's going on, right? Heck, if Thanos is gone with the stone and you have the red stone in that futuristic dimension… then I want to learn more information about the other dimensions and see what we can do to put an end to all of this. I know, it's too dangerous for me to go with you, but you can't single me out either. My dream was to be more like you. And if you are going to do this, then I can lend you assistance. I just want to give you more power so that you don't put yourself in a situation where you feel like your time is up. I want you to live, so I was hoping that you could rely on a friend that you only met several days ago and want you to be on a bigger stage than where you are now."

"Blue…"

I didn't know what to say to this. I mean… she speaks the truth. She said her dream was to have magic, so I can't single her out. My dream was complete, so her dream needs to be completed as well. I don't want to leave her where she needs to be right now. And besides, her charisma seems very strong so I had to act fast. And say this.

"That was partially what I wanted to ask you, but since you saw right through me, there's no way I can disagree with what you said. I know I said that you have to wait longer, but since the first stone comes in a few days, I'm just hoping that I can bring you along on this toughest adventure. I know this whole operation involves me at the moment, but since you wanted to study magic, I can't let you live your whole life without your dream of what you wanted to be. And I believe that you have the confidence to be part of something that involves dimensions, magic, stones and all that other stuff, so… of course I can let you come with me to search these stones. I mean, although it's not the dimensions that we expected. But if that someone is looking to add more fighting power, then of course, I'll add you in. Since I needed someone to rely on."

"Kaze… alright, Kaze. Then that means, you are really taking a huge leap. Hopefully we can make even more progress than usual."

"Well, you are similar to me, of course. I just wanted to see if you are really up for it."

"I am up for it. It's gonna be a lot to do, however."

"Yeah, but we'll get through it. All of it. I'm sure that someone will be pleased to bring in more people like you."

"But, wait… I forgot to mention, who is this someone that you keep bringing up? I never know his or her name yet."

"Her name is Lunia. She is the emperor or goddess of this futuristic dimension called Hyperdrive City."

"Oh, so it's like sci-fi?"

"Indeed. I've heard of sci-fi, so I have a feeling that it is one of them."

"You sure have a lot of luck yourself."

"That's true. I've been lucky day after day. I may not know what more I could get as time rolls."

"I mean, good things happen. I get lucky sometimes. Not all the time. You just get lucky day after day like you said."

"Yeah, even still, I'm just happy that I got to see the cool stuff and how I'm gaining more friends as time passes. Although, I'd be too embarrassed to see myself as a popular girl."

"You can't feel too embarrassed about it. It's just… a sign of achievement. You could get bigger stuff the more popularity you get."

"I know, but I'm not that type of girl that wants popularity. Of course it is a bit similar to gaining some friends, but it's a lot to handle at the same time."

"No it isn't. Everyone ever since you came back from that Puyo dimension has gained a lot of interest from you. Maybe because of how you look personally."

"But it's hard to befriend at one time. Imagine if there were thousands of people coming to me shouting my name and cheering for me. I wouldn't know what to say afterwards. After all, I think Candace is going to turn her attention towards me. And she is gonna see me as a rival in which I really don't want."

"Don't worry about Candace. This is your life, so you can do what you want with yourself. I'm just saying how you are right now is what's affecting a lot of people because Candace got her respect due to the way she tries, her hairstyle is stylish, clothes, all those things. You on the other hand… you are just attempting to turn the tables on her. I think if this keeps up, Candace will definitely start chasing after you."

"Well, her enemy is Gemma, but now that you say that, she's gonna think that me and Gemma are going to be the ones that will put her in a tough situation, which would diminish her fame. And she's gonna put this one on me. I have a feeling she's gonna turn her back on me at some point."

"Like I said, you do you. You don't have to worry about ruining anyone's fame or Candace. You just do what you wanna do. You can even take me to that Hyperdrive City dimension that you told me about. I have nothing to do currently so we can do what you wanna do."

"Well… are you ok with it? You sure you don't have anywhere to be afterwards?"

"I'm positive. I'm just here to do what you want to do."

...

"A-Alright. If you say so. Let's go see what mom thinks first before we get settled." I said after thinking about it.

"Ok, let's go."

We both went downstairs to go see what mom is up to. I had a feeling that it should be enough time for mom to give us the snacks that we want because I'm hungry and I'm not sure if Blue is gonna want something to eat since she ate something at home.

"Mom." I said as we went inside the kitchen.

"Yes, Kaze?" Mom asked us while she was still making our snacks.

"So about this whole legendary stones scheme, Blue decided that she wants to help me hunt down those other stones that are in the other dimensions. so she requested that she wants to go to Hyperdrive City with me so that she can receive more information about the stones and the dimensions. Do you think that's fine with you?"

"Well… are you sure about this, Blue? I don't think you can take on this tough task, no? It seems to be very dangerous." Mom asked, feeling really concerned about my friend.

"I've always wanted to be like Kaze." Blue said. "Well, not exactly because I didn't know that she was the first person I ever saw receive magic. If I can watch a lot of anime and read a lot of other stories that involve magic, blood, monsters and all that sort of fictional stuff, then I can handle taking on the serious challenge. I know my mother doesn't want me lost, but if all of this is for our worlds, then Kaze is gonna need someone to rely on, and I'm that someone."

"Well…"

"*sigh* You two seem very confident on this. I guess you two can go. Why not?"

"We'll be fine, mom." I said with a nervous grin and a sweatdrop. "If you're not that comfortable, you could've said no. Then I would have understood how you feel."

"It's not like we're being annoyed or anything. I'm fine with waiting a little longer if that's what you want." Blue said.

"No no. It's not that." Mom said. "It's just I'm really hoping you two are gonna survive this test. Because this is the only life you'll get and you're done if it's in jeopardy and you can't manage it any longer. If you are gonna do this, just remember that you'll do this for us and not for anyone else. Even you, Kaze. I just don't want you getting hurt. Of course you have Blue, but I've been on your side for 16 years. I just… hope you can be safe doing this."

"Yeah… I know how adults are, handling their kids, even us, Kaze." Blue said to me.

"I know… as much as I want to be with my mom for the rest of my life, that doesn't mean I can't give up on my dream just yet. Of course I'm done dealing with magic, but there's one thing I still have to do now. Which is to collect the other stones from the enemy territory. But we both are smart and being intelligent is one thing for sure." I said.

"Yeah."

"So… sorry about that, I just don't know what to say right now." Mom said, looking a little speechless.

"It's ok, mom. If you're worried about me, then I'll just…"

"No no, it's ok. You can head over to Hyperdrive City now. And take the snacks with you. It's just… I really hope you can be safe." Mom said, trying to cut me off.

"The stones don't come until a few days so I'll still be here. It's just… I have worlds to save. And I think I may be the key to this whole thing."

"Yeah, I'm sure we have others who can help heal us if we're in danger. Just because we have worlds to save, doesn't mean it's not gonna be us two that will be doing all the work." Blue said.

"Alright. If you girls are that confident, then I'll accept it. Did you bring that… Telecator?"

"Yeah, hold on." I said as I checked the drawer.

"Telecator?" Blue asked, looking a little confused.

"It's what our friend from another dimension gave us. Just in case we need to travel from her dimension." Mom explained.

"I see, but… "Telecator"? Why does that name sound like a telephone or something?"

"I have no idea, actually." Mom said.

"Found it." I said as I found the telecator. "It's also like a walkie-talkie not to mention. You can talk to people here too. Also like a telephone, just like you said."

"Wow, that's wicked. There's a button on here too." Blue said.

"Yeah, that's what activates this portal. But if I were you, I would rather do it outside. It would be a little too disturbing to do it here."

"Kaze is right, actually." Mom said. "What if your parents found you suspicious and saw you back home without even opening the door and didn't realize that I haven't been watching over you?"

"You both do possess valid points…" Blue said with a sweatdrop.

I'm sure Lunia would give her one as well. But what if Blue's parents find out about this as well? Should they accept this?

"Anyway, here's your snacks. Do you want some, Blue?" Mom asked.

"Sure. I'll take it." Blue said as she took the snacks mom made.

By the way, what Mom gave us were these cosmic brownies and a little bit of chips that were in a medium baggie. There was nothing added to that. I know we wanted to stay here just to get comfortable and watch movies and all of that stuff, but we're gonna make sure we get everything sorted out before we do all the fun stuff.

"Hopefully that'll give you something to eat if you're starving." Mom said.

"Thank you, Mom." I said.

"I have a feeling you two do get along extremely well." Blue said.

"Yeah, it's always been like that. There's nothing wrong about it after all."

"Kaze is just… the only lucky daughter that I have. If I had you, I would do the same thing I did to Kaze." Mom said.

"You didn't have too. I'd rather take my own path." Blue said with a light giggle.

"It would actually feel like I'm gonna be out of the picture." I said with a sweatdrop. "Anyway, should we go now?"

"Yeah, you girls can go now. Just be careful out there." Mom said.

"I'll be safe." I said.

"So this is actually the first time I'm going to a new dimension. This is just so unreal." Blue said as she didn't know how to react to her first time going to Hyperdrive City.

"Yeah, I'm sure you're gonna love it." I said to Blue with a smile.

"One question though. Did you guys know about that place BEFORE you first got there?" Blue asked.

"Uh… no, not at all. It was just… a hidden dimension. Nobody here even knows about that place after all. We're the first people to take a first look at it as dimensional travelers."

"This was my first time traveling to a newer dimension too. It was really crazy." Mom said.

"I see. Well, let's test this out. I want to see how it really looks." Blue said.

"Alright. I feel like Lunia might or might not be waiting for me." I said. "Ok, mom. We'll be back."

"See ya, Jordyn." Blue said.

"See ya girls. Remember what I said." Mom said as we both headed out for the door and headed outside.

"So this is where I'm gonna activate the portal." I said as we found a good place where I could activate the portal.

I then pressed the button on the telecator to activate the portal that spawned right in front of us.

"Ok, so you pressed the button to activate the portal, is that it?" Blue asked.

"Yes. It can take you from here to only Hyperdrive City. I'm not sure if it can only take you to places where you want to go though." I said.

"You are really prepared to get those other stones, huh?" Blue asked.

"I have a few days left, so it is best to prepare for the worst. Hence what we're gonna get through. It's a promise. It's just there are things that need to be done in order to get started. As well as training since we're gonna need it."

"Understood. Training is always a must."

"It sure is. Alright, are you ready?" I asked.

"I'm always ready. Let's do this." Blue said with some confidence.

And so, the both of us went inside the portal to make our way towards Hyperdrive City. It's actually the first time that I'm bringing a real friend to another dimension, which is going to make things even more entertaining. It'll be two of us and the Hyper family that we'll meet for the first time. If only I could find them.

I just can't wait to see how Blue will react to this. I'm thinking her mind is going to be blown as well due to all the futuristic stuff that there is over there. I just know it.

So it's me and my mom who had a surprising reaction when we first got to Hyperdrive City. I wonder if Blue is gonna be next.

Author's Note: I'm gonna be honest, it's chapter after chapter where I wrote over 7k words in the United Kingdom era which takes up a lot of days.

What do you think about this? Should I keep on going on uploading chapters with these long amounts of words or should I trim the words a little? Let me know what you think.

But nonetheless, Kaze and Blue are now going to Hyperdrive City to check on the Hyper Family and Co. What will we see next? You'll just have to find out in the next chapter.

With that being said, Follow, Favorite or review, remember to stay safe from COVID, and I'll see you in the next chapter. Peace out!
